Scenario where Yue Qingyuan and Luo Binghe both pick up on and independently confirm for themselves, a few years into the matter, that Shen Qingqiu's soul has indeed been replaced with someone else's. But they have polar opposite reactions about it. Yue Qingyuan keeps trying to figure out how to get SJ back (alone, since it's nothing he can prove and also he sucks at asking for help), while Luo Binghe is doing everything in his power to make sure that Shen Qingqiu stays the new version or doesn't have his soul replaced again. The two of them each entirely unaware of the other's knowledge or actions, basically cancelling one another out.

Yue Qingyuan finds an item that should loosen the current occupant soul's hold on the body, potentially allowing Shen Jiu's soul to come to the fore again (if it's still in there somewhere) or regain control. Luo Binghe, around the same time, discovers a rare herb that is said to help reinforce the connection between the soul and the body, to help with individuals who have troubles with dissociation. Yue Qingyuan gifts the "rare artifact" and gets Shen Qingqiu to put it in his study, Luo Binghe mixes the herb into a medicinal tea and serves it to him every day. Net zero impact.

Its not perfect (like everything I made), but I just love drawing comic-like-stuff, I get to relax more. I dont try to do the lines perfectly or the super accurate anatomy (mostly cause I dont know shit about anatomy at all) and also get to be more simple in the colors, wich helps cause I struggle making colors a lot.

I missed drawing my babies...but why did I drawing them like that? XD I swear...I think I should have seen some reference cause I totally change the way I draw the Burger Babys which is crazy for me XD

a concept for the type of OP i'd love to see for the second season of Dungeon Meshi! both s1 OPs are great, but i'm really hoping for one that captures both the "dangerous fantasy adventure" and "comedic cooking adventure" aspects of the series in equal measure, because it's the integration of those two concepts that makes the series special to me. the joyous whimsy and the dramatic horrors are equally important!!

I am having many many thoughts about Hands of the Emperor, but here is one before I go to sleep:

this sounds very silly, but i am eighty-odd pages into this book and almost nothing has happened, technically. The main characters are going on a vacation. It is a fairly significant part of this that the Emperor has never done so much nothing at once before. Travel arrangements have been made, social interactions had, various vacation activities enjoyed, but on a literal level there is no large plot moving forward.

AND YET. I am up late reading this already, and I want to stay up later. I want to keep reading. Because even if on the surface, not much is going on, the emotional depths that this book has already gone to are incredibly compelling.

The main character is watching the man he serves as emperor and reveres as a god, a man he cares for deeply, slowly remember that despite being an emperor and a god he is also a person, and find enormous joy in getting to be just that. The main character has been overcome with emotion multiple times by seeing his emperor smiling with great pleasure at things like a casual conversation, or watching the rain, or tuning a harp with his own hands. I am overcome with emotion too.

I don’t know if the pace will pick up at some point, but I genuinely think even if it doesn’t, I could read seven hundred pages of this, just on the strength of what it’s making me feel.

Buuuuuut if it IS revealed later on that they’ve been banging this whole time (or at least since Frank v Russia), I’m fine if we never actually see a kiss or embrace, because watching seasons 16-18 all over again with that knowledge will feel the same as re-watching seasons 1-11 knowing that Mac’s canonically gay. Hello hello everyone!

The Final Update is finally here! Play it on Steam or itch!

Thank you all so much for your patience this past month as we've been polishing and bugtesting this final build! As you all may have seen from the trailer, this update brings two new game modes to Bonnie's Bakery! In this update, you can find:

The Ethereal Lady Book - Oh my! Someone didn't put this book away! Maybe you should give it a read? Play as the Ethereal Lady as you go through her story chapter by chapter! Protect your children from the horrible beasts that are running rampant with a real-time, turn-based combat system!

Endless Bonking Mode - Bonk every ingredient with reckless abandon! See how high your score can go before the police are called! Stack upgrades and become the ultimate bonking machine as you rampage through the twisted city!

We've been hard at work to make this update the best it can be, and we're very excited to show you all the culmination of these last few weeks! Along with the new content, we've also fixed some minor bugs and boosted the performance of the game!

Now, you may be wondering why this is the last update we're making to Bonnie's Bakery. After working on the base game and DLC for the past year and a half, the project has grown a lot! Since the original game was made for a game jam, the base game wasn't really built with this much expansion in mind, so the project files have become pretty unruly! We are definitely planning to expand on the world of Bonnie's Bakery, but we plan to do so in the form of other projects, rather than continuing to work off of the base game!

That being said, we're going to go into preproduction for our next project over the course of the next few months! We've actually been hinting at it ever since the addition of the Fresh Ingredients DLC! Can you guess what it is? 👀

I saw this post and it reminded me of the time I was looking for a review of a cute little cookbook I’d seen based on a book series, and this reviewer went through to make and review some of the recipes.

For some reason, she chose a bunch that used ingredients she didn’t like.  And she rated those recipes poorly. Because of how it tasted like the thing she didn’t like.

She did pick one recipe she was excited about, though. Only she didn’t bother to include all the ingredients. And then rated it poorly because it tasted really bad and dry and idk, maybe I did something wrong, the recipe wanted three cups of dried fruit and I only used a cup of raisins, anyway, terrible bread and would not make again.

So, if you ever get a comment on your fanfic, that amounts to, ‘why is this thing in here, it’s terrible, ew, like I know you tagged it but it’s still gross and I hate that I read it, ew,’ just know it’s really, really, really not you.

There will always be people out there that want to punch themselves in the face so they can wonder why their nose hurts.
