Disclaimer:

This is part of a series of polls I wanted to make. These are bands that are mainly punk, but some do crossover (e.g. fishbone) and because this genre has so many smaller bands running through it, I couldn't possibly add all of them.

I also just wanted to make this so I could get probably some suggestions on BLACK musicians that made/make rock music. It's not a contest, I just want to see which musicians some people like and for this to be a way for people to discover them.

The Muslims is an all-queer, Black & Brown punk band from North Carolina, USA.

Highly political, the band never pulls their punches and are on a mission to piss off all the right people. Their politics are not hollow statements, they know what they're fucking talking about. I'm a big fan of song titles such as "Crotch Pop a Cop", "Gentrifried Chicken", and "John McCain's Ghost Sneaks Into The Whitehouse and Tea Bags The President"

Hi, I’m kinda new to punk and I want some more bands to listen to. Preferably something loud and energetic (something i can scream to). I mainly listen to The Muslims and Pinkshift so bands kinda similar to that please. I also want to listen to some riot grrl.
