List of solo transformers movies that I would have loved to see but that will never happen...

Probably turn it into a fanfiction instead.

"On The Trail" a prowl and jazz buddy cop movie taking place in 90's Hawaii. prowl has found a new lead on one of his old cold cases, jazz helps him figure out who done it (it was barricade)

"Spark Eater" a classic sci-fi horror inspired movie following a motley Crue of Autobot supply runners that have to deal with a monster that has broken into their ship.

"The Wreckers" follows the origin story of how the group was formed. A hand full of autobots and decepticons are thrown into Overlords "Pit" to hunt and fight echother to the death for the entertainment of the decepticon elites. But a small alliance is formed of friends and foe alike to take the fight up to them.

"Caminus" a post-apocalypse/political intrigue movie following the city speaker Windblade on a mission to save her home and titan from a mysterious disease that is affecting the last city.

"Drift" A classic ronin inspired flick taking place in modern day Japan that follows the origin story of the ex-con turned noble wandering warrior.

"Elite Squad" a war movie about Elita One and her squad desperately fighting on the home front of Cybertron. Sabotaging shockwaves plans at every turn. Will they find a way to contact Optimus? Or more importantly will they be able to hold out long enough for his return?

"I miss when movies weren't political-"

ALIEN is about a megacorporation coercing some salvagers into transporting a dangerous creature without telling them what it is, all because the creature could be a great bioweapon for them. When a survivor of this failed transport mission wants reparations, they screw her over to avoid a scandal.

ROBOCOP is about another mega-corporation experimenting with a cop's body and declaring him their property, trying to reduce him to an obedient killing machine who can maintain the status quo for them.

JURASSIC PARK is about a rich billionaire going all out to make a dinosaur-themed amusement park, not caring about the real-world implications of resurrecting giant lizards. He also underpays ONE guy to maintain the entire park's security systems so predictably, that one guy betrays him at a crucial moment.

The best movies weave their politics with plot & character, so you can enjoy them as entertainment but can also notice the themes. Movies without themes wind up being all spectacle and no substance, just noise and color like Michael Bay's Transformers franchise. Yeah, they make money, but they'll be forgotten in 2 generations.

I want a live action movie with the autobots and decepticons with their designs from the opening scene of Bumblebee. They were so good in my opinion. Wheeljack had his fat ass ears and Starscream looks like he’s a whiney little bleep. It’s perfect.

Shockwave is such a baddie (as he should always be) and Soundwave looks badass

Rachet is also a baddie like why were his hips and thighs so thicc bro

Alrighty, here's my first bit of fanart for 2024! Asha and Starboy from Disney's Wish - more specifically, Wish's concept art :''') I haven't seen the movie, but I think I can confidently say that I would've been more interested in seeing it if they'd kept the romance/soulmate dynamic from the early concepts.

But anyways, here's my take on Star's design, and also a little cheek kiss for Asha! :D Also, I never made an official "Happy New Year" post, so I just wanted to say thank you all for your support in my art and writing endeavours! One of the most insane corporate decisions in entertainment media ever in my opinion is still Hasbro doing the 1986 animated Transformers movie where they violently kill off over 10 recurring beloved characters on screen, including the main guy, and then were surprised when children showed severe anguish over seeing Optimus Prime slowly dying of his wounds in a fucking hospital

side note! Noriko is deaf, she has a cochlear implant but doesn’t wear it often because she’s always in the water or in a boat, she has just finished signing “courage” to Elina here

i think its weird that arcee is like. a core member of transformers groups now, cuz it makes her stick out like a sore thumb being the token girl when at the time she wasnt exactly supposed to be? she was part of the second generation of characters (even though I know the movie was being made first)

like it seems like modern stuff tries to do this with her

which just shows off how much that design doesnt fit and comes off like it was made to be "i am THE girl. you need no more girls we have made the one girl”

but when she was actually designed to match the movie crew, a bunch of more futuristic (the far off year of 2005) cybertronian vehicle transformers with her rounded shapes and pastel colours and she isnt even the only pink one because hot rod is also pink, albeit a much darker pink

(leaving ultra magnus out cuz he was designed to be a brick holding optimus doesnt count)

the point like yeah shes still the only girl but its less egregious when you look at what she was actually supposed to match. i dont think shes designed perfectly but i think its weird that because shes the most recognizable girl transformer she has to be pulled away from her crew and forced into a group she doesnt share the design philosophy of (let alone for her character its sad like... are those not her friends? she’s not allowed to hang out with her own friends anymore cuz she’s the only girl who’s marketable? sad)

it’s extra weird when you realize there’s this crew who were the original girl transformers shown on screen

they’re not perfect either but I like that they have the same busy more squared off shapes and more strong colours, and I just think if they got added in arcees place you could have a less skewed view gender binary for the robots

there’s also the part where it would be cool to have more than one girl in a group, but again arcee with her iconic leia space buns head fits in aesthetically better with the movie crew
