"Being female is awesome" How? How is it awesome? Being "female" is a construct of the patriarchy that exists to push down people who are assigned female at birth. It only exists as a form of oppression. Why would anyone want to be female? To be the underclass of the human race? I don't want to lecture you over things you've surely experienced- the sexual harassment, the abuse- but I don't see how you could have experienced all of that, seen your friends and family members experience that, and still think being female is a good thing, or that it makes sense for other people who were assigned male at birth to want to become female. Being assigned male at birth is a privilege. And it's impossible to give up that privilege without engaging in misogynistic stereotypes. How do trans women transition? They train their voices to sound like Barbies, they dress like misogynistic caricatures of prostitutes, they act like they're soft and innocent and incapable of harm. A "successfully transitioned" trans woman is just an idealized form of what the patriarchy expects women to be. You should be fighting against the expectations placed on you and other women instead of gleefully playing into them, and allowing fetishistic predators into your life just for the sake of having another doll to play with.

pardon the papyrus posting but re-flowey and learning the "kill or be killed" mentality, i think part of what made papyrus so interesting to flowey is he, like asriel, rejected the idea with his whole "everybody can be a good person if they really try" (the world and people aren't a stagnant, fundamental way and can change), but even when faced with death directly papyrus held onto his outlook, which flowey found incomprehensible

ehhhh i disagree, personally i think the reason flowey was so captivated by papyrus is because papyrus is the most... "present" character in the game. not only is he extremely fun and alive personality-wise in an average playthrough, he also has the most lines put together out of any character in the game. one of the main things flowey states about how he grew bored of the world around him is that people became predictable and stopped feeling like people. lines of dialogue. strings of numbers.

it only follows, then, that the character with THEE most dialogue, THEE most interactions, THEE most content and information to pry and seek out would be his favorite. if losing his SOUL actively impacted his capacity to love and care for other people (even if not completely, as we all know well), then "entertainment" would've been the closest he could get to genuine care towards another person in his SOULlessness. when everyone else became numbers, papyrus was probably the last one to feel like a real person (until even he fell short. only his idealized memories of chara never failed him, since they physically couldn't. and we KNOW how obsessed he became with them, and with us/frisk and our "unpredictability").

also like. i get that handplates was cool and all, but papyrus believes in second changes and giving everyone a choice to turn their life around, he's not vowed to nonviolence/not killing. can we scrub that from collective fanon characterization? if they don't take that chance, he is 100% going to beat their ass into oblivion. the only reason he didn't do that to us in-game was because he underestimated our strength and died first. noble and positive as it is, his attitude isn't any more morally groundbreaking than, say, Toriel's conviction that no "greater good" is worth someone's sacrifice.

• i'm assuming everyone listens to music frequently but Mercury 6H sextile/trine Neptune are completely enamoured by it & have their headphones in all day, everyday. they surely listen to music more than anyone else especially if Neptune is in their 8H (house of obsessions)

Ghost is absolutely entranced by every part of this woman, but her mouth? The way she smiles at him makes his heart stop. The way she talks to him is like music, he can't help but want to listen to her for hours. He's down astronomical. Love is awful for his sanity and yet he can't turn her away like he does everyone else.

It's just- She's smart. She's smart enough to know better than to like him, than to go after a guy like him, and yet here she is. She perches on his desk to read Vonnegut just so she can turn to him and point out her favorite section, or ask his thoughts on whatever philosophy the book is lecturing. Love is the sort of pretty he'd never go after at a bar, the sort that has too much life to be bogged down by the type of love he has to offer. Absolute, rabid, devotion. And yet! And yet she knocks on his door, and leaves little notes in his books, and takes an interest in him in a way that no one else has. He almost touches her on purpose once, just to check that he hasn't imagined her. He thinks better of it.

Love jokes with him, to him about him. She's so... lovely. She's a fountain of knowledge, always inviting him to drink, and where he thought once that he was drowning in a sea of people he finds himself parched. He's alone when he's not with her. He finds his eyes on the lecture hall doors, watching for her. He tracks his time for office hours closer, waiting an extra few minutes for her. That's how he finds himself in her lectures, drawn to her when he can't stand being away any longer. He hovers in the back, unsure why he's even there, though he always comes with an excuse, and wonders why he enjoys her flirting so much.

She's discussing the anthropological importance of "heroes" the way that humanity craves the safety of them. The shift in ideals, the Byronic hero. Ghost wonders if this might not serve a literature class better, he glances at a nearby student's notes and sees the class is cross listed: "Human evolution through story telling." He got his times wrong, this isn't the philosophy one.

"Speaking of heroes," Love grins, and Ghost knows that's for him, "Simon, my favorite Byronic gentleman, here to recite some poetry for us?" God the way she says his name, he might need a pace maker to keep his heart beating the way it's supposed to. He holds up a paperback, and she shakes her head. "Knew I forgot something."

Love holds her hand out, and despite his better judgement Ghost walks down the lecture hall steps to hand the book to her. She flips through the pages, and almost seems disappointed. He's reminded of the little notes she leaves him in the books she returns. That's different though, those are in scholarly texts, this is a copy of Kafka's "Metamorphosis." She already heard his thoughts on it. Maybe not all of them, she'd started leaning too far over and he'd had to kick her out before she noticed him staring down her shirt, but enough.

"Not a poetry guy," Ghost tells her, she always seems to perk up when he talks. Now is no different, the light comes back to her smile as she glances up at him.

"I can start it off." She offers. Ghost hesitates, glancing back at the silent lecture hall, and gives a short nod.

"I watched thee when the foe was at our side,/ Ready to strike at him—or thee and me,/ Were safety hopeless—rather than divide/ Aught with one loved save love and liberty." He watches that pretty mouth shape the words, his head tipping with a gentle shake. One loved, together intertwined even in hopelessness. Love and Death, it's funny... he actually knows this one.

"I watched thee on the breakers, when the rock/ Received our prow, and all was storm and fear," Ghost swallows, frowning against Love's eager stare, something woefully soft in her eyes feels as sharp as a knife when he meets them. He looks away, finds more eyes, looks back. He lowers his voice, feels the rasp of it in his throat, the sticky promises he wants to make, hidden behind a stranger's words, "And bade thee cling to me through every shock;/ This arm would be thy bark, or breast thy bier." She's so dangerously close to him, stupidly close with those sweet lips curved like sin into a smile. "Love dwells not in our will." Ghost breathes.

"You're skipping ahead," Love leans in to whisper. Ghost can't help the way he leans as well, the tip of his head and aborted raise of his hand. Ghost stiffens, straightens and turns to go. He can't be around this woman any more. She's going to be the death of him. "Bye Simon," She calls after him.

"Dr. Riley," He grumbles. One student sitting on the aisle notes in the group chat later that they aren't sure if he was correcting her, or extending a similar goodbye, with a teeny-weeny Freudian slip.

People tend to forgot that the 12H can rule over creativity, the arts and music. It’s usually not the first thing people think but it’s true. So having this placement could potentially mean being famous for your creativity and music. But this could also mean being famous for an undoing of some sorts. Like having a public meltdown or being publicly scrutinized. This could also mean having a lack of privacy, so if you were famous with this placement you’d probably have paparazzi on you all the time and you’d probably have a lot of stalkers/creeps. FAMA RETROGRADE

Having a planet or asteriod in retrograde usually means that the effects of that object are felt more strongly and the effects of that planet/ object may be exaggerated and the native will feel some sort of discomfort/ awkwardness that goes with it. In the context of Fama, fame could happen to you greatly but it might make you feel uncomfortable or awkward at first. You might have a tendency to brag about fame and be known as a brat/diva. timeskip zhancheng questions I am currently tormented by

Purging my zhancheng thoughts on tumblr because I refuse to start another WIP. You can't get me, zhancheng timeskip thoughts!!

Lan Wangji:

If zhancheng happens during the timeskip, do Lan Wangji's ideas about Jiang Cheng change in proximity to Jiang Cheng?

If so, how do those changes affect him? (Maturity, political awareness, etc.?)

If not, what does that illustrate about him? (Cruelty, desire to hold a grudge, etc.) How do his conceptions of punishment and his dislike or contempt for Jiang Cheng interact with his canonical sexual sadism (value-neutral) in this relationship?

Does any of this affect how Lan Wangji sees himself, his own sexuality, etc. outside of the (slightly safer) container of "great passion for the singular love of my life?"

Can he recognize the ways in which Wei Wuxian harmed Jiang Cheng? (The lying and resulting distance, leaving the sect, killing his brother-in-law, etc. are definitely harmful to Jiang Cheng, among other people, regardless of Wei Wuxian's intentions.) If so, how does that affect how he understands both of them? If not, what does the resistance to seeing and understanding that tell us about him?

Jiang Cheng:

In this scenario, does Jiang Cheng recognize that he has created a situation that mirrors his treatment from his father and makes explicit the dynamic of his parents' marriage (by choosing a partner that is in love with an idealized dead past love, he's chosen a partner who will devalue him the way his father devalued his mother, but explicitly or aggressively rather than passively through avoidance). DOES HE DOES HE DOES H—

I think this is another Jiang Cheng self-harms through sex headcanon for me. Like it's also a bid for connection (I simply do not see canon era Jiang Cheng as particularly good at no-strings-attached sex) but not a healthy one; he has too much grief, self-hatred, and blame. In some ways, maybe banging someone who is openly contemptuous of him is a relief? He can externalize those impulses a bit? This at least starts off as projection4projection with Wei Wuxian's ghost firmly between them in an extremely emotionally rancid threesome.

Also if Jiang Cheng immediately gets dumped for Wei Wuxian upon resurrection, it makes him worse. Literally THEE abandonment trigger. You think he had divorced vibes before? Don't even know what this would look like. Obviously he's still holding it down for Jin Ling but at what cost. On the other hand, if they work something out, in which he is valued as highly as Wei Wuxian, in which he is irreplaceable... big catharsis, so tasty... HIGH RISK HIGH REWARD...

IMO this would have to be a zhanchengxian ending for a good ending because I think it would also fuck Wei Wuxian up to find out that he'd once again inadvertently replaced Jiang Cheng in someone's affections. Childhood wounds for everyone! I also want Wei Wuxian to come out of this... not more damaged than he already is...
