I was so exited that I did not even care how bad traffic at LAX was even at late evening. After two long weeks without seeing each other I was on my way to pick up Matt from the airport. I was happy he got to get away from LA life and spend his birthday with his family but now I literally couldn't wait any longer to see him. I parked my car in front of the right terminal and looked around trying to find him in the crowd. I texted him quickly where I was so he could spot me.

I smile as I see him walking in my direction and I open my trunk so he can throw his bag in there. I knew how much he hated airports so I wasn't even surprised by his annoyed expression. But as soon as he opened the passenger doors I was met with my favorite smile in the whole world.

"Hi.... I missed you so much" I smiled and leaned in to give him quick kiss but in the same time I heard beeping of a car behind us.

"Oh my fucking god... let's get out of here first baby" He said and patted my thigh gently.

I nod and started to drive while starting directions to his house on the car screen.

"I missed you to y/n... thank you for coming to pick me up" He said and he rested his palm on my leg and I smiled.

"Of course... I couldn't wait to see you. There is food on the back seat for you and this drink is for you as well I figured you will be hungry" I said looking at him for a second.

"I love you so much you do not even know" He groaned as he reached for the bag into the backseat.

"I know I know...." I laughed.

"How was the flight? Wait... is that like your first time flying by yourself?" I asked.

I was pretty sure it was actually the first time they all are in different part of the world.

"Actually yes and it wasn't bad I just really couldn't wait to see you. That was too long. I hate your job for not letting you to take time off. My mom was so sad you weren't there" He said and it made my face drop a little.

"I know... me too I am so sad I wasn't there for your birthday but at least you guys had a great trip and I am glad you had your birthday there" I said.

We talked while Matt ate his lunch and we were getting through the traffic. When I finally parked the car on his driveway I jumped out of the car and I walked around. The second he stepped out I wrapped my arms around him.

"Hello baby..." He kissed my head wrapping his arms around me as well and then he leaned in to properly kiss me. Finally.

I closed my eyes as I felt warm feeling in my body. I missed his touch and presence so much. I slipped my hand into his hair but there wasn't much to grip now since he cut them so much shorter now. I smile as we broke the kiss.

"Let's het inside..."He said and he kissed my head again before stepping away. I took trash from the car as he took his bag and we went in.

"You hear this?" He asked me and I frowned as we were met with quiet.

"Exactly... quiet.."He laughed.

I cant help but laugh as well. I do not think there was a time we were here alone for more than few hours.

"Did you clean up the house? Are you crazy woman?" He asked dropping his bag and looking around.

"I wanted the house to be nice when you come back and for us to spend time together not cleaning the mess you guys left" I said.

"You did not have to do that...Thank you you are the best" He said and hugged me again.

"I could just stay like this for the next week that we have there alone but I need to go take a shower" He said.

I looked at him and nod and he took his bag and went to his bedroom. I followed his figure and I sat on the bed as he opened his bag.

"You can go take a shower and I can unpack your bag... is it all clean?" I asked smiling.

"You do not have to do that..." he said looking at me.

"Matt... please just go take the shower so we can cuddle and I will do that it will take 5 minutes" I said.

"Okay, okay" He laughed.

"It is all clean" He added and he took his hoodie off and tossed it to the hamper.

As he went to take a shower I did put away his clothes and took the luggage to the closet downstairs and came back to his room.

I laid on my back scrolling on instagram when he came back to the room and fell on the bed next to me.

His hair was wet now and he was wearing pajama pans and cropped tee. The one that made me crazy every time. I was actually wearing my pajamas as well because I got ready for bed before picking him up. I was wearing pajama shorts and top.

"Oh you know what you're doing don't you?" I asked as I quickly straddle his lap. He smiled back at me and his hands traveled to my bare thighs sending shivers down my spine.

"Said you..." He poke my belly and I shook my head at him.

"You are insane actually I am not doing anything" I said.

"You do not have to do much baby..." He said and brought me down so he could kiss me.

"mmm...and you can be as loud as you can how cool is that" He said in between the kisses and it just made me even more exited.

Having Matt all to myself without anyone was going to be my favorite time we had together and I already knew that.

U were in ur 20s now, things were different bc u guys were adults, parties, drinking, sex, it was more common and less exciting. the guys decided to go out and have a “boys night” leaving u and ur cat alone at home, watching ur favorite movie. u ended up falling asleep on the couch only to be woken up around 3:35am by a loud knock at ur door.

u get up half asleep and wobble to the door, wearing only pajamas. u open the door to find bam, ryan and a very obviously drunk dico clinging onto bam for dear life.

bam giggles “yo you gotta take bran hes fucked!”

bam was also drunk but u can tell not as much

“what…” you says groggily

“js take him hes drooling on me!!!” bam shoved him towards you like a ragdoll and he bumps into you, swaying.

ur cat gives him the stink eye as it watches him ramble, dico looks at it and starts mocking it jokingly. as soon as u walked in and saw him meowing at ur cat u knew it was over.

“listen im gonna go set up my bed, u can sleep in there if u want, or i cant set u up on the couch, im js exhausted right now.” u chuckle ad he looks at u with that wide eyed stare he always does

“hmmmm ill take the bed!” he puts his finger up and you laugh

“ok, come on big guy lets take u to bed.” you put ur hand on his shoulder, still carrying the water as u guide him to your room. he wraps his arm around you getting really comfortable

“wow i can believe ur taking me to bed…” he smirks going to make an obvious sex joke

“yea my bed, alone.” u smile back

the two of u make it to your room and he watches u make the bed, hands in his pockets, he pulled back and got a lot quieter. you put ur stuffed animals back on your bed and turn to him

you nod and go to walk out of the room

you followed suit, getting into bed and making urself comfortable, u felt a little awkward but he was ur best friend so, it wasnt that bad. he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, u knew from the soft snores behind u. shifting in bed, u turn to face him, his pretty sleeping face abt a foot away from your own. u smiled, he really was cute, in his sleep he ended up cuddling u, well by cuddling lazily wrapping an arm around you and then when u try to wiggle away he got u in a bear grip

u didnt mind, u gave up struggling and gave in to sleep, cuddling into his touch as u urself fell asleep

HELLO! i’m back after reading everything for part 1 a few days ago. the first thing that came to mind was how it did NOT feel like 8K words, and none of the scenes felt wasted in any way. when reader brought yachi along i was surprised to see how you eased her into the team, and i think her skill to bullshit as a scammer was something reader thought could help them? i don’t think she actively tried to recruit yachi, but when yachi tagged along reader was probably not just thinking of her plan to teach yachi a lesson but also 5-steps ahead—hence why she was so casual in stuffing yachi into a role to entertain Ten. and also, the fact that akaashi looked extremely angry at the beginning but he softens so much at the middle only to harden at the end??? i think it’s because he doesn’t approve of reader’s methods to teach yachi?? he did say that one time while they were talking. i’m so intrigued how the “fake dating” will sprout, because we can see clearly that it’s obviously not fake. although keiji doesn’t want to settle with reader, he was the one who initiated intimacy in the warehouse even though no one was watching, aka there was no need for him to even act intimate. i’m betting on that scene alone that keiji does have real feelings for reader, but why he doesn’t want to settle…. idk. i’ll have to read and find out!

and as for other things (about keiji and reader), the fact that they quarrelled and act like enemies the next day when they were all mushy was soooo funny, and leading to the old lady telling the tale…. THAT CLIFFHANGER! and also, i know u probably don’t mean it to be funny but reading “2 body guards—one buff and one scrawny” is such a visual irony i laughed. and also, the whole scene with Ten… what inspired the flow of events? it felt so legitimate like you were actually in a con job. and also, with reader working with such high profile…… wow. wonder who she’s working for. she seems like the leader of the team but the story did mention she had to join while as clueless as yachi—i wonder how she rose to her current position!!!

akaashi and reader literally feel SO strongly for each other but it can either manifest in gross icky lovesickness or insane burning hatred. like theres no in between for them. its ALL or NOTHING!!! and i go into that a lot in the next part. part 2 is very very different from part 1, but its my all time favorite, i love it so much and i cant wait to post it so all the secrets can be revealed<333 i wish i could just say everything now but that would be no fun!!!

also idk how obvious it was but the two body guards were bokuto and kudo :) idk why Ten would hire kudo as a body guard like hes a fifty something 5'5 stickbug but hes also very convincing idk man

ALL the background info on reader is revealed in the next part....as well as on akaashi....and the start of this team in the first place... i mean ALL!!! its so fun to write u dont even know

i got a lot of inspo right from The Great Pretender!! i took ideas from it and twisted them around to fit this fic in a concise way. in the first few episodes they pull a drug scam against a movie director with japanese candies and fake doctors and lots of guns, it lasts like multiple episodes, and i just took that idea and made it a lot shorter and less detailed so itd work here lmao. i think thats the only direct scam i pulled from the show so far? i may take one or two more for part 3, but yeah thats where the inspo came from!! it was very difficult because i am not a con artist but i tried my best lol!!

(ps this is gonna be kinda continuous from my last akito post!) (And for people who don’t know the Akito x An’s Bsf!Reader) 

(Bro that cafe name really shows how much of a music nerd I am lol)

You and Akito were headed down the street on the way to this new cafe that had just opened the other week but as you had heard from the rest of your band it was really good. So you two decided to go for your date, as you guys walked in there was a guy that looked the same age as you and Akito at the cash register, he had light brown hair and about a couple inches shorter than Akito. Just then a Lady with Short Black hair and a waitress uniform stood in front of the both of you.

“Hello! Welcome to the Symphony Cafe!” She said in a cheerful tone

“Hi!” You said in an equal as cheerful tone 

“Yo” Akito says after you finish

“Would you like to be seated?” She questions

“Yes please” You say

“Of course! Right this way please” She finishes grabbing two menus and walking towards an empty booth

The two of you follow her and sit down a the booth she shows you and she tells you she will be back in a little to come get your orders

“Wow This is really cute and cosy!” You say looking at the the light pink decorations 

“Yeah, I really like the music choice too” He says 

“Yeah this song is really nice!” You say now noticing the soft music in the background of your conversation

Just then the waitress comes back 

“Are you guys ready to order?” She said looking at the two of you with a smile

“Yup” Both you and Akito say at the same time

“Alright what can I get you two” She says pulling out a little pink booklet with sanrio stickers on it

“Uhh can I please get a (Insert Order)” You say smiling at her

“Of Course! And for you sir?”

“Can I please get The pancakes” Akito asks just looking up from his menu 

“Of course!” She says taking the menus from you and akito

“That should be out in just a little!” She says starting to walk away

“Thank you” You say

-Time Skip to after you finish eating (and, or) Drinking-

“Wow that was really good, we should come here again at some point!” You say with another one of those cute smiles that Akito loves

“Yeah..” He says looking at you with only love in his 

“Anyway we should probably check out” You said starting to stand up

“huh “ He said as he started to snap out of his lovesick look

“Checking out?” you said as you looked at him with a worried expression

“Oh right, here I got it” He said as he started pulling out his wallet

You quickly told hold of his wrist to stop him

“I got it Akito, consider it a thank you” You said

“Uhh I don’t know, you sure?” He said

“Yes, don’t worry about it you can make it up to me on our next date” You said pulling out your wallet and walking towards the cashier

“N-Next date?” he said confused with a blush on his face

“Yeah!” You said 

You then pull up to the cashier and you tell him and you give him the table number.

“Ahh your total is..” he says still looking at the computer in front of him 

Just then he looks up and starts looking you up and down

“Wow you’re really pretty” He says 

“Oh uhh Thanks.” you say not trying to be rude at the sudden outburst of the compliment

You then hear Akito shift around behind you

“Hey how about you come in here tomorrow at like 4pm, after my shift and we can have a date here, I know the best things on the menu” He then winks at you after finishing 

“Oh uhh..” you say not knowing how to respond

“Hey.” Akito says harshly from behind you

“That’s not cool, you can clearly see she’s uncomfortable, so stop” He says with anger in his eyes

“Whatever man, what are you her boyfriend” The cashier spits back at Akito’s anger 

“Uh Yeah actually I am” Akito says back with a huge blush now on his face

You then turn around confused as this was just a date or so you thought

“As if, she would want a man with a fine taste like myself” He says not minding what Akito had said about being your boyfriend.

“Fine then, don’t believe me, how about now.” He says and then he takes your hand in his and kisses your cheek.

After you realized what had happened you had a huge blush on your face now too

“Whatever” the cashier mumbles

Soon enough the other girl comes and pushes him out the way

“Omg I am so sorry about him, for his rudeness please take both your meals on the house” She says and bows

“Oh no I couldn't possibly” You say 

“Here at least accept this” You say looking in your wallet and handing her a 20$ dollar bill

“Are you sure” She says

“Yes!” you say back to her as she accepts the 20 dollars

“Thank you so much” She says bowing again

“Have a nice day” She finishes and both you and Akito walk out

“Hey uhh-” He starts but before he could finish you kissed him on the lips

You then pull back. You then giggle at his shocked expression.

“Glad our first date went like that anyway I have to head to band practice, cya tomorrow lover boy” you say as you start walking in the direction of  your band practice

You knew he was totally jealous in there but if you had asked about he would have turned you down so instead you decided to make a fool out of him by making him just stand in public with his jaw dropped. 

You knew he was a little bit of a cheesecake and pancake loving goofball but at least you knew now he was your cheesecake and pancake loving goofball. <3

Hey i really love your blog!!! I just plucked the courage to actually send u an ask fhdjhd but GOSH i love your video edits and your gifs and your meta article posts, you're so articulate and you can explain/describe moments in a way that makes me go "oh wow, i cant believe i haven't seen it that way before!!" Haha ANYWAYS i'm just here to say that i completely agree with what all u said, Free creators might do a lil fanservice here and there for the 25 ships that exists within the fandom's circle, but rinharu's storyline is clearly the most romantic one! And i'd argue it's the one closest to being canon esp after part 1, i mean the fact that they put such an explosive emotional outburst right at the end of the second to the last movie means a lot. It's like reinforcing the fact that this series has always been about them, and everything that has happened only happened either because they met or they grew appart and miss eachother. I kinda feel like maybe.. juust maayyybe there's a chance KA wants to make the ship canon, since it's the last movie and they want to end it on a highnote maybe (bcs honestly i think the only reason they've been holding back is purely bcs of the merch sales, since they don't have a problem showing a wholesome lesbian love story in kobayashi maid dragon) butt i could be wrong, maybe i'm just overly optimistic and delusional, they could somehow ruin it and give an ending that panders to all the ships again 😅🥲, but at least there's a clear-cut guarantee that part 2 would dedicate a large portion of it fixing rin and haru's fight!!! Others I just don't even see, bc again to me who witnessed great close male friendships and having two sisters who I'm very close to, I just do not see anything romantic in that.

It's not just Free! tbh, it's like any sports anime these days. They see two guys walking together, it's a ship. And like no one cares if they're just bros. Like I'd get i they did some fanservice fanservice, but like I never saw anyone in Free! crossing the line the way rinharu do. I can without thinking much name you 10 rh moments that no matter how hard you think can't be explain as being bros, but can't name one when it comes to others. I just find some ppl shipping everyone with everyone weird sometimes. It's like western fans see like some eastern actors or singers slap each other ass lovingly and they're like "oh they're fucking" I'm like "yeah, ofc all 500 of them, you're absolutely right". And Free! doesn't do anything even like that, I just do not get sometimes like what moment even brought on some ships. I'm genuinely confused. Albert and Haru? I'm also not into this whole "well, if there are gays in this anime, than everyone there is gay". I'm like... huh. It's like with KNB and MDZS I had same feeling. It's like you have already couples there who are canon/borderline canon, why do you need another 10 who don't even interact or just don't even go there? I'm always so confused in those situations. Or like wangxian is married and some are like "no, I actually don't like it, let me write a fic when they're with other ppl". Lan Zhan... being in love or having sex with someone else? Yeah, that's not Lan Zhan, dude, you're writing about someone else. Might as well change the name at this point.

But last time I went to twitter someone had a thread about how if they make s4 of Free! they should mainly explore there Momo's angst (and no, it wasn't a joke), so I'm already like, I'm just.. nothing will surprise me no more. But I'm forever gonna be confused.

Yeah, I eel you about "going there". I mean seeing part of it, it just kinda cemented my confusion, bc I do not get how it can be considered platonic. We were just discussing since yesterday with @freeseafirefly how I now even more perplexed and do not understand how they will resolve it without going into relationship territory. It's just our point here is that like... no one forced them to go there (I mean its not like this whole fandom has some wild expectations or anything already), we were waiting or our usual friendship and swimming and maybe tiny conflict about struggles of pro-careers and some usual rh implications (maybe all the rh gay in dramas as always). Not some pure fanfiction coming to life here haha.

Like why I'm laughing is bc I twice used in my "fics" bringing up him leaving Haru as a force to push the confession, bc there's no way if he adresses this it won't lead to this. And now we not only have this (bc Haru just basically layed it out there), but an actual scene of him playing on their feelings for each other and a literal image of Rin leaving and "taking Haru's heart with him" to the point when he's for the first time in his life openly crying on the ground. And it's not like this scene can be interpreted as anything else, the whole fandom talks same, bc the whole fight was just about them, what Haru said was just about them, there's a literal boom of his heart getting out of his chest, before he falls and now he's heartless.

So our question is like... why go there?

It's like some say that they might still resolve it with "they're special to each other" and swimming, but still like we already knew that, there was no reason to go that far is what I'm saying. And to think that it was planned since forever giving the clues is like... ???

The whole spoon theme also throw me on the loop because like, lets be honest, it's wedding themed. And that part of the interview about part 2 there also made me go...?????? Because I mean, huh?

This is just all in all very interesting turn of events to say the least. I do not see the point of all of this if its not what I think it is, esp after seeing tweets like "even I see a rh wedding and I'm mh T_T". It's just all very unsubtle, that's why we're confused.

great comet is LITERALLY tied for my fav musical (les mis is the other it was the first show i ever saw and it was amazing and enjfoaiend so many feelings for that musical)

i am SO GLAD you asked ab sokkla and wicked because that along with the yuekka great comet no one else song is what inspired me to make that list

one of the big things with sokkla as a ship is that most of the fics i read and most of the art i see if that many sokkla fans and artists rlly play into the whole forbidden romance theme; moreso than any other fm swt pairing in the series (ie zutara zukka azutara u get the gist)

and this song is ALL ABOUT THE FORBIDDEN ROMANCE

you see: fiyero in wicked is a carefree guy who plays up his charm and plays dumb a lot when in actuality i think hes a very smart character. i know sokka doesnt pretend to act dumb and thats a difference between him n fiyero: but the fact that theyre both pretty smart strategic characters is why i associate them with eachother

azula as elphaba?? HANDS DOWN AMAZING. elphaba is an outsider. she isnt liked by many people. she is very thoughtful and precise with her actions and has shown she can be cunning and manipulative when she needs to be. sound familiar? consider a post-redemption arc azula for this role. just just think of it.

LJGFJHGF my favorite hc that i have for sokkla is that while they are the two smartest characters in all of atla: they become dumb when it comes to each other. thats personally a hc i have for this ship and this line just supports that wholeheartedly. Sokka becomes a lovesick idiot when it comes to azula and he knows this. so is he dumb for acting like an idiot around her? or is he smart for loving her anyways. (both. its both.) also just the symbolism and implications of sokka saying this line when we all know hes a genius but in the show hes seen as insecure in his abilities and strengths just.... wow. this line is so sokka it makes me lakshfgwky

this is less to do with the ship itself but moreso with the fandom ab the ship. lots of people dont like this ship (and thats fine! not every ship is for everyone) and they think that it wouldnt work out and while i personally disagree i think this line is good for pointing that out. because ppl think it would never work and that its doomed and maybe since sokka and azula are both geniuses they recognize that their relationship may look that way to other people too. they arent dumb. theyd know how people would look at them as a couple and theyd realize that hey maybe this wont work, but i dont care because right now im with you anyways: sokkla core

optimus primal is the owner of the bar dinobot finds himself at (the axalon!), he lives in an apartment above it. primal has custody of cheetor. cheetor likes to bounce between optimus and uncle rhinox's houses. rhinox is op's closest pal, he works at the axalon, and volunteers at a local church in the meantime. rattrap sleeps in rhinox's garage, and also works at the axalon. he and rhinox have SOMETHING going on. (bc i said so and also just, like, cheetor deserves two uncles)

(unpause) so ok basically, optimus is about to close up shop and he sees this weird tall guy tussling with a gang of dudes and hes like "THIS GUYS GONNA GET HIS ASS KICKED" so he impulsively rushes out to scare those dudes off and dinobots like "wow this rando just risked his skin for me...maybe humans are capable of being honorable ......maybe no murder them??? 🤔"

sooo dinobot insists he owes op a life debt (he wants to hover around and really observe humanity now) and he ends up with a job at the bar...he just sleeps outside until op finds out hes homeless, and he gets to crash on ops couch. rattrap hates his ass. theyre best friends.

ok so like...time passes, megatron is getting impatient for dinobots report, so he sends down waspinator and terrorsaur to check things out. dinobot defends his friends, a firefight breaks out. dinobot shoots lasers out of his eyes or some shit and everyones like WWWHHHUHH???

op is like what the FUCK just happened .and dinobot has to explain everything. everything. he comes clean about how he was originally here to literally take over the earth but hes like. you and your friends have helped me fall in love with humanity. we have to go kick megatrons ass.

and everyone cant help but feel betrayed right? but what choice do they have?

...im thinking about how to end this without having dinobot do a Heroic Sacrifice...im not strong enough for that...
