#progeny#ts4 story#i changed the training grounds a bit#realized it made more sense for the walkways to have brick short walls lol#SO!! first chapter!!!! here we go#as you can see Killian is a knight#geordie is a minor side character but he's like the closest thing to a bff that killian has#he mainly patrols the palace which is why he was sent by the empress to get her son lol#where are they walking on the way to the palace? tHE UNDERGROUND TUNNEL SYSTEM#one of the coolest things i made up for the volais capital is that they have underground tunnels that connect all the important places#also i haven't named the capital yet. just referenced as the capital lol#it's how they're so defensible even when they have a river running through the city#it's sort of their secret weapon#but also good for traveling when you are low on time#Killian was late to a family meeting lol nothing crucial but his mama puts a lot of importance on them#call it her version of a sunday dinner#aaaand... oh yeah! we see through killian's words that he is PERFECTLY SATISFIED with his rank#by the end of the chapter you will see where he stands on things#okay! enough rambling! SORRY#nooo I just noticed one of the balconies isn’t lined up with the window 🤧 oh well I guess

No they’re literally so good. Usually male-female duos don’t do it for me, bc the harmonization falls right below the mark & you just feel a certain synergy missing. That’s absolutely not the case w Azad Right and Vali Porter. Their chemistry in every song is literally insane. This is an actual case where the talent is off the charts & yet they’re criminally underrated 🥲

it was literally such a coward move to not put tails in sonic underground. like oh we're making a show about sonic and his siblings . lets get rid of the sibling he already had though

I'm like also really mad that they legit killed Chess and Horn off screen, that is just so disrespectful to their characters. Everything in this chapter felt disrespectful to the Tiddy Squad.

being a movie nerd is so embarrassing because i've recently rewatched fantastic mr. fox and now it is literally the only thing i am physically capable of talking about. we start chatting and before you know it i'm telling you about all the symbolisms and hidden details in that movie (you haven't even watched it and you have no idea what i'm talking about)

augh this video gives me such conflicted feelings every time. because a. LOVE the evidence of taco night that the boys have spoken about a few times. but b. When i say art is less about the quality of the thing itself and more about the impact on its audience (a very cliche statement yes i know), i mean like an iconic tv show is less about the quality of the actual show and more about how feral it makes the fanbase
#Usually art needs quality to illicit such a response#But its not required#Take ninjago#Ninjago sucks. But its a force of nature kept alive by the sheer will of its secret underground fandom. And that makes it something special#Other shows- like steven universe and gravity falls and the fucking owl house- are incredibly well done high quality works of art#But like im sure people could take other shows that they think are better quality and be right about it#But because of what these shows meant to the fans#and how that meaning allowed the shows to leave permanent marks on their hearts and on pop culture and animation history as a whole#Thats what makes these shows so special on such a broad scale#to get to that level they needed to be good shows so they would be able to connect to fans in that way#But again- the quality is not the actual thing that makes them the legends they are. Theyre only legends because we call them that#Because we love the shows so much#Idk man i just think its kinda beautiful#How art can be something so legendary to an entire community of people purely because of how it makes them feel#Ive never seen homestuck but ive heard the plot is hella confusing and convoluted#yet you see the impact it has had on all of tumblr like do you see how insane this is!#The power of art to shape the very course of history all because it flipped a switch in people’s heart and made them feral#I love the world. OH MY GOD WAIT ONE OTHER THING ABT THE NOT THE BEES SEED one part of it is that theres queen bee larva scattered around the whole world even on the surface, and i kept getting messages that queen bee had been summoned despite being nowhere near any nor having any sort of projectiles at all much less going off screen and was so confused. n it took me a few days but then i realized they were only happening at night. larva are getting HIT BY THE SHOOTING STARS AND SUMMONING HER TO TRACK ME DOWN ACROSS THE EARTH
#luckily so far theyve all coincided with me dying seconds later to other things way before she can get there#so. small victories ig in that it has yet to actually /really/ effect my gameplay beyond being a mild jumpscare#terraria#well correction there is one larga thats actually influenced my gameplay but its purely cosmetic#there was a larva right next to my spawn and i always build my house right on spawn because i could never find#beds before looms were craftable#so i was like. i want to make this part of my house how cool would that be. to just have a larva on display#you are probably connecting the dots on how that ended#I've had the same thing happen with a plantera bulb too i was making a cool underground floating island w a giant tree#n then pop all gone:(#some day I'll successfully encase a summon i want
