i know almost nothing abt demon slayer but have some thoughts abt douma

you wake up in his little cult w no memory of who you are right

the woman taking care of you grins and tosses the wet rag she used on your forehead to the side

nd with this widened almost terrifying smile, she says "our lord has come to visit you himself! what a blessing~"

the first time you see douma you just feel like somthing is. off

hes pretty - stunning, honestly - in this mystical, dangerous way that should lead you away from him instead of bringing you closer. but, its the opposite for his followers - they hang onto every word he says and believe him so earnestly its kind of sad

douma immediately thinks theres something wrong w you. you dont have that foggy, starry-eyed gaze everyone else does when hes near. you look cautious - aware. it makes him hungry

he leans down to face you, "hello, stranger! stay as long as you need to, hm?"

your skin crawls but you nod anyways

staying in paradise is odd. again, everyone hangs on douma's every word and trusts his every action. they devote themselves to him. but youve noticed -

people are going missing, women specifically.

his followers are v obviously in lust w him, bragging abt the nights spent alone w him and begging to be the next chosen one

"it'll be me," one girl says as she dries the freshly cleaned dishes. she perks her chest up smugly, "i've got his favored assets."

"he's been spending more time with me," another argues, "asking for me personally."

"don't act so mighty-"

and then the man himself appears in the doorway with a soft, barely there smile. "[random name], we have some things to discuss. see you tonight?"

everyones attention shifts to the smallest one in the kitchen, eyes large and timid. her hands shake so hard the plate shes holding falls to the floor and shatters. douma tilts his head, "everything alright, sweet? should we have our session a little earlier?"

"shes going to die."

it comes from your mouth before you can stop it. multi-colored eyes snap to you, his nose crinkling slightly. you simply stare, "when they disappear with you, they vanish. die."

douma hides the way his eye twitches. the bustier girl stammers, shoving your shoulder roughly. "you shouldnt say such things! apologize to lord-"

"its okay," doumas eyes twinkle, "curious cicumstances, hm, [name]?"

she doesnt die. its as if douma is proving a point to you - proving you wrong. she lives that night - only to vanish the next. "a personal trip," douma speaks. he dismisses everyones concerns except for yours.

and when you start speaking up more - predicting everyones death - he begins to punish you

the water you wash dishes with is either scalding hot or below freezing. theres a new night shift to the sanctuary that you take care of, staying awake for days on end. cleaning the entirety of paradise by yourself. watching as every other member feasts heartily while your portion is forgotten or unavailable.

douma even tries to throw you off his trail. he speaks to numerous people - has those secret conversations with men and others out of his normal type. but you always seem to know the exact one hes going to consume - the one who will die.

as if you predict it

and that makes him so curious! youre such an annoyance ; a hazard to keep around. but what if you could predict the future? what if maybe you were just that observant?

it doesnt help that you arent afraid of him. most of the time, you simply stare and blink at him, like youre bored

and that starts his obsession with you

the women he takes to his room are reminescent of you. your eye color ; hair color ; height ; the way they speak ; the letter of their name - any similarity to you and theyre done

starts calling you "precious" , "chosen" , or "blessing" to make sure you know hes keeping an eye on you but to also make the other followers hate you

i think youd catch on but but this is where my thought stopped lmao

So we have ideas and concepts about putting traditional Maho Shoujo characters (the magical girls, mascots and goddess, etc.) Into grimdark setting to help the grimdark MGs. How about the opposite, putting about 4-5 Grimdark MGs (im going to call them DMGs for short) into a light and hopeful setting?

Im imagining a scenario where five DMGs - our main characters- from a grimdark dimension, who were victims of a cruel magical system controlled by some sadistic gods that feast on the sufferings of humans - but tricked the DMGs into their twisted situation by pretending that They have some righteous and for-the-greater-good reasons for what Theyre doing. The DMGs arent part of a team, maybe the Gods encourage fighting among the grimdark MGs for Their own amusment and to prevent them from uniting to defeat the evil Gods as well. Maybe the main DMGs got into some magical portal mishap while being stuck in the same place, and got suck into a portal while threatening each other (but not actually fighting, just throwing threats around out of fear and stress) which take them to the more hopeful dimension. Btw, the portal immediately close after they got suck in, and leave no trace of its existence, so the evil gods dont know about the DMGs escaping their controll, nor about the existence of a portal or another dimension, nor are they able to chase after them - if they even care enough to notice the DMGs disappearing tbh, they might not even know they were gone until the Good Goddess come to personally kick the evil Gods down to Hell. Basically, the DMGs upon coming to the light dimension is now completely safe from the danger of the evil Gods.

After the DMGs escape their grimdark home, they got directly into the Sanctuary of the hopeful MGs (a place where the light dimension MGs come to relax and essentially their secret community, its where MGs teams along with their mascots meet and enjoy their time with other team or the Good Goddess) They actually werent awake when the main light MGs trio (our second set of main characters) found them and brought them to the Medic for emergency check up. Their mascot reports the odd situation of a group of MGs randomly appearing in an unconscious state to the Good Goddess, and She come with the mascot to see the DMGs.

When the DMGs woke up, their reactions, from the youngest to the oldest respectively, was: terrified, shocked, confused, "WTF is happening", immediately try to threaten the Goddess (whom was in their medic room at the time). The mascot tries to comfort the DMGs, seeing as theyre in distress, and ended up nearly losing his head to the oldest DMG had the Goddess not stop her attack in time. The mascot then waited for the Goddess to calm the 5 DMGs down, but wander to the youngest DMG to help her get less scared by himself (despite being rather shaken after what just happened, but it did work and he wasnt attacked this time). Im not sure how exactly this would happen, but the Good Goddess eventually calm the DMGs down, assure them that theyre safe here, talk to them for a bit and promise to visit them again the next day after theyve rested. She and the mascot then left the DMGs room, leaving them alone with each other.

Cue some angst, "I dont trust you but I dont have a choice here", some scared interactions and staying up all night out of caution and fear. The two younger DMGs did ended up becoming (sort of) friends though, relating to each other due to their closer age and being equally terrified of the older DMGs. The pair sit and whisper to each other throughout the night, with some of the older DMGs occasionally asking and talking to them.

Come daytime and the Goddess did come back to visit them (bringing some small gifts like clothes and snacks). The DMGs actually werent expecting Her to keep her promise, nor for her to bring them gifts. She said something along the line of "Im a Goddess, ofc Im keeping my promise! Why would I not keep my promise?" Some of the older DMGs was cautious and ask Her if Shes here to make them join in some twisted "game" ( the evil Gods made them played these "games" where theyre forced to fight other grimdark magical girls). The Goddess comforts and reassure them that theyre safe here and that She'd never hurt them, or let any harm come to them (Shes somewhat confused about why they ask such questions, but choose to not pry too much seeing as theyre uncomfortable). Things continue with Her visiting and giving them small gifts for a while, and the DMGs slowly learning more about this new world through Her, and also went out to explore on their own sometime - some of them went very far while other stick close to the Medic place. Also, they discovered that the Light dimension Earth is now in a state of World peace and is essentially a Solarpunk world.

After fully recovering from the damage of unstable dimensional travelling, the Goddess give them a place to stay in the light dimension Earth - under the care of the light MGs Trio (theyre adults btw) who found them in the first place. This part of the story is full of SOLs about the 5 DMGs recovery from their traumas.

The other part of the story is a plot about finding a way to reach the DMGs original dimension - theyre scared but the Good Goddess assure them that theyll be okay, after all Shes going to absolutely murder the evil Gods and rewrite the magical system there herself. They did succeeded and the evil Gods have no idea that they wont be seeing the light of day anymore.

Anyway, its Happy Ending for everyone but the Bad Guys basically.

TL,DR: 5 grimdark magical girls escape into a hopeful magical world where they heal from their traumas with help from a Goddess, a trio of adult MGs who adopted them and a mascot whos trying his best to help them. After finding a way back the grimdark dimension, the Goddess destroy the evil Gods and rewrite the cruel magic system. Cue Happy Ending after a while of recovery and rebuilding.

What do you think about this concept?

Plenty of Magical Girls could totally benefit from joining an union, really. We shouldn't be pitting bad bitches against eachother, they should be combining their strength. One of the genre's characteristics is friendship, after all.

Sofia the First Season 2 in a Nutshell

Two Princesses and a Baby - 10/10

Amber wishes she wouldnt have to share her birthday with her twin James, so he gets magically turned into a toddler. Hijnks ensue. Another brilliant moment of character growth for Amber and showing how much she really cares for James, despite them being polar opposites.

The Enchanted Feast - 9/10

Miss Nettle returns disguised as a visiting sorceress in order to steal the amulet but Sofia is having none of that shit so she gets her critter army to stop Nettle. Also Snow White is here in properly the best media appearance she will ever get since Kingdom Hearts

The Flying Crown - 3/10

Sofia befriends the brooding jock Prince Hugo cos apparently she doesnt have a life. Look, I know you need to work with him to do your flying derby race, Sof, but dont bother with this Hunter expy.

Mom's The Word - 10/10

Its Sofia's first Mother's Day in the castle and she gets left out when her mother is spending more time with Amber and James. One of the show's core themes is teaching kids about blended families and Sofia struggling to adjust sharing her mother with her step siblings is very potent.

The Silent Knight - 4/10

Aunt Tilly falls for some NPC knight, when Cedric is right over there. Like show, if you were gonna ship any couple. I want sorceror failhusband and chaotic adventurer wife. Or hell, the drama teacher Miss Elodie for a gay option.

Enchanted Science Fair - 7/10

James, Amber, Vivian, Khaled and Desmond fight each over a science project but they all realise that Sofia is always right and they would all be dead without her.

King For A Day - 6/10

James tries being king to see what its like and yknow, this episode's hilarious to watch in hindsight cos its revealed James isnt even the heir to the throne lol

When You Wish Upon a Well - -4/10

Amber does something incredibly illegal but gets off the hook cos Sofia and their dad are enablers

Gizmo Gwen - 8/10

Aw cool, a castle maid who's also an inventor and engineer! What a wonderful addition to the ca-annnnd she's not gonna appear for the rest of the series, is she?

Sofia the Second - 10/10

Sofia learning about how to keep promises even if it means giving up something else? An evil Sofia clone who's a delightfully evil gremlin? Sign me the fuck up!

Mystic Meadows - 8/10

Sofia's girl scout group goes to a wizard retirement home where Cedric's parents live and she helps Cedric win his dad's approval and stop his micromanaging bs. Also, Hell canonically exists in Sofia the First and that fact alone is both disturbing and hilarious

Princesses to the Rescue! - 9/10

James and his friend Jin get captured by a discount Tai Lung and their dads end up being captured too cos theyre that stupid. So its up to Sofia, Jun and Amber to save the day. Also Mulan is here and its a nice touch they gave her the armour she worn throughout most of her original movie.

Ghostly Gala - 7/10

On Halloween, Sofia befriends the undead and convinces everyone in the castle that they're not seeing things, honest. Seriously, this girl could befriend Eldritch monsters and convince everyone that they're chill.

The Emerald Key - 10/10

A Hawaiian princess has lost a precious heirloom and washes up on the shores of Enchancia, calling for help. Another Hawaiian princess shows up, declaring shes the real deal. The Enchanican royal family immediately decide the best way to tell these two indigenous princesses apart is to get them to partake in white royal etiquette and activities and automatically assume the one doing the best at all of them is the real princess. Sofia realises that the imposter is always the whitewashed one.

Scrambled Pets - 5/10

Pet hijinks: the episode

The Princess Stays in the Picture - 3/10

Man, after Amber became a good person, the writers really doubled down on making her friend Hildegarde the new alpha bitch. Supposedly this was the episode to humanise her but honestly after watching this whole series, she really hasnt improved since this episode so it feels like lightning in a bottle we will never get again. The highlight was definitely Sofia yelling at Hildegarde's constant know it all attitude.

Baileywhoops - 8/10

Finally, Baileywick gets a good episode. I love the idea that Baileywick is such a good steward that EVERY OTHER STEWARD IN EVERY KINGDOM WANTS TO BE HIM OR WANTS HIS JOB. He's like the Alfred of this show.

The Curse of Princess Ivy - 10/10

Amber steals Sofia's amulet out of jealousy, unleashes an evil princess by mistake and now all hell's broken loose. Sofia really rakes Amber over the coals in this special and its glorious. Again, another episode that develops Amber as a character and its great to see the message of earning forgiveness and actually putting the effort in to change, instead of putting pressure on the victim to just enable their abuser's behaviour. Rapunzel's there as well with a banger song.

Winter's Gift - 8/10

Sofia meets a fawn named Autumn, who freezes everything she touchs and she fucking hates it. (Hmm, wonder why Elsa or Anna didnt show up in this ep?) However, Autumn fears the witch who gave her the powers in the first place won't do it cos she hasnt got her a nice enough gift in return. Turns out the witch is super nice, actually.

The Leafsong Festival - -8/10

Clover's dragon friend Crackle gives up her fire powers so she can be in a talent show but she has to get it back or THE ENTIRE KINGDOM WILL FREEZE TO DEATH AND APPARENTLY A SMALL DRAGON CAN MELT A KINGDOM'S SIZED COAT OF ICE.

Substitute Cedric - 10/10

Cedric begrudgingly decides to be substitute at Sofia's school for a day but turns out he really enjoys teaching and helps the kids practice magic on some wizard bullies. Cedric becoming more of a cool uncle is the best. Also, Sofia yelling the phrase "prank day is over!" to the wizard bullies as a war cry is really badass.

Clover Time - 4/10

Clover acts like a shitty roommate to Sofia, which is weird cos I thought Clover already lived with Sofia. Yknow, him being her pet and all.

In a Tizzy - -5/10

Ruby gets her own fairy godmother to help her build a cart and practice for a go-cart race. Thats neat! And yet, this all could've been solved if Ruby's mum was in the episode

A Tale of Two Teams - 6/10

I love how despite being a royal for like a year now, Sofia always chooses her old friends whenever she can. Neat how this is the episode where Jade actually needs glasses as her vision is causing her problems during kickoff. Amber also learns to manage and be a good coach. Man, the writers really put their all into giving Amber little intricacies with her character and James has...knight stuff

The Littlest Princess - 7/10

Sofia befriends a group of freeloading spirites who cause havoc in the castle and has to find a way to convince them to leave since that's the only way to get rid of them. I like how Sofia's flaw of being too trusting to everyone she meets causes trouble and Miranda gets to shine as being the best parent/role model in Sofia's life.

Buttercup Amber - 10/10

For some reason, Amber joins Sofia's girl scout camping trip and unlike the last experience with Baileywick, this one is actually fun. Seriously, Amber brought her entire wardrobe of dresses to camp and the girls inspire her to create a huge tent out of them. Nice to see Amber has changed a lot since Season 1 already.

Carol of the Arrow - -8/10

Ah yes, I love watching Sofia the First talking about anti-royalism, despite being set in a world where the royals are super friendly and interventionalist, there is no classism between the royals and commoners and that colonialisation doesnt exist. And yet we have a non-furry Robin Hood trying to help the common folk and Sofia's standing there like 'oh she's my fave celeb i cant be a royal!! i'll pretend to be a commoner again so i can show her royals can do something' but SHE'S GOT NO REASON TO HIDE HER IDENTITY COS SHE'S A FAMOUS PRINCESS AND ISNT EVEN HIDING HER NAME AND APPARENTLY FEM ROBIN HOOD FINDS OUT ABOUT HER AND REALISES OH HEY MAYBE ROYALS ARENT LAZY GOOD FOR NOTHINGS AFTER ALL. WASNT THERE A SCENE FROM TWO EPISODES AGO WHERE THE ROYAL FAMILY WAS GIVING AWAY FREE GIFTS TO ALL THE PEASANT CHILDREN IN ENCHANCIA. WHERE DID SHE GET THIS PRECONCEPTION FROM? ASPFSCEVRH WHAT IS GOING ON??!

Sidekick Clio - 3/10

Hildegarde acts like an abusive bitch to her friend Clio but instead of Clio leaving her and finding a new group of friends, she forgives Hildegarde after one apology. Oh and before you ask, Hildegarde doesnt retain her lesson from this in later episodes. I feel so sorry for Clio. Especially since she has a lot of fun potential as a side character.

I just want you to know that I had a very similar anon come into my ask box about a week or two ago claiming how KW was more popular and "everyone is over that incest shit" etc. Makes me wonder if its the same person just going around to ppl who draw for both KW and KV in some ship war tirade to try to start shit.

Its like anon doesn't realize that a lot of us can and do ship both. And that we do not care if one is more popular than another, and we're just feasting on the content for both ships.

Your content is fire for both- and considering how painful canon is, god forbid you want to draw some soft stuff for the twins. I, for one, appreciate and adore it greatly and it fills me with such joy. There are plenty of artists who draw or write the darker stuff or more "blatantly" incestuous (though you're right, theyre blind if they can't see it in yours), but that doesn't mean everyone has to.

Keep doing you. People enjoy your work because you clearly love what you're making and that is what is most important.

9:15 - today i am annoyed and frustrated. my roommates have been getting bolder and i am still unable to confront them. today i returned to my dorm and found the fairy lights from my box from angie turned off. i thought this was odd bc they dont turn off bc the switch is broken and u have to use a safety pin or something similar. anyways after inspection it appeared that the battery case of the lights had been broken into and a battery taken out so that the lights would turn off. theyre not even that bright and ive seen my roommates literally sleep with their laptops on playing shows out loud all night. anyways the battery thing was extra annoying bc the panel that comes off to change the batteries was missing the little pieces that keep it attached so they literally broke it im very upset. also i only ate like ten caramel things from the bag that was in there and now its a lot less full. i am very upset but i dont know how to confront them. i also think they ate the rest of my trader joe takis idk why they think i wont notice if they just leave a few left. there were like ten left in there when i brought it back and then i opened it again and there were two. who is such a glutton that they go through someones stuff just to take like eight pieces. i have begun to take before and after pictures of all my stuff so i will know if they have gone through it. i think they also ate my granola bc the bag was resealed differently than how i do it. i would never clip it back so ugly. i also think they ate my pretzels and peanut butter cups and i know they ate my chocolate pretzels last week. and they definitely ate my chips too i dont understand why they dont just go buy it themselves theyre literally all international and out of state and have expensive unnecessary products. my tissue box that i only used three tissues from was empty too do they really think if they leave two left that i will gaslight myself into thinking i used a hundred tissues in half a week when i literally wasnt even in the dorm for more than like an hour total. also i started to feel a pimple forming on my nose so i went to get one of my pimple patches and the box that i know there were at least 12 left an entire whole sheet was left and it was just the packaging i am very upset especially because they are twice as expensive at the westwood target. whose disgusting face needs to use that many pimple patches i am very upset. i am going to start using their olaplex and kerastase hair products in the shower and using their expensive face products i do not care anymore. i am very upset. i am going to ask my ra friend for advice and tell him that next time they throw in the dorm he should go yell at them. he should also tell them that youre violating our roommate agreement by having unannounced guests over half the week sleeping in the living room. i want to start leaving my food to spoil on purpose so that when they eat it they get food poisoning or something i am very upset. i dont understand why they feel the need to take my stuff im literally going to keep a log of everything missing and charge them at the end of the quarter. they broke my fridge and the freezer part has no door anymore and is covered in like an inch of ice. and i swear i had another two bags of frozen stuff in there that is now gone so they probably ate that too. literally whenever i open anything they take it upon themselves to eat half of whatevers in there and leave like a tiny bit left wtf. but i am very bad at confrontation but i prob need to try by myself before going to the ra. i am very upset. literally what did i do to them. i am very upset. oh yeah today i got like six hours of sleep and ate grilled cheese and tomato soup from kerckhoff cafe and then got boba from sharetea and then i had ramen from feast for dinner and i got cafe 1919 for dessert. everything was so good. after my laundry which i have time to do for the first time in three weeks ! after i finish i am going on a topgolf date w my friend lol. hes paying ahaha. i hope i still have time to meet my club friends after.

10:53 - we are not going to topgolf anymore bc the waitlist is full. oh well lol i feel like he did this on purpose so that i would have to pay for it next time bc we agreed to alternate paying for dates. we are still going somewhere though i guess.

its weird how much of a stale taste the sinnoh games left in my mouth when i was a kid; whats funnier still is how even now playing PLA, even as much as i enjoy it, theres still this blandness for me that just makes it feel duller than it should

it took me forever to realize why, bc i think the sinnoh games i good games, i just dont click with them much at all even though theyre full of features i Loved

i didnt like sinnohs starters. i still dont, theyre my least favourite batch

i disliked sinnohs fossil pokemon- again, they ended up being my least favourite fossil pokemon

a lot of the evolutions and pokemon introduced just werent my favourite

i was Stupid as a kid- still am

sinnoh was a feast of fun extra features which i just didnt access at all

Chapter 1: Cyrus and the Girl who Wouldn't Shut Up.

The girl looks up at her group leader. She knew she should have not tried to light some files on fire just for those two older boys. But when has she ever behaved? “Such a good role model, aren’t you?” She snapped back. Cyrus frowns. They had never been good with children. But, like, they're a very good role model! They never yell or beat their lights out! "The shit you get from me is salvation compared to what others do. You nearly destroyed /everything/." Thats not true. The files were important, but far from everything. But considering how frazzled she is from getting caught, she'll believe it. "Remember that one kid who we left out on the floor? And how their arm bent the wrong way? And how flies feasted on her half-dead body? Those numbers could hit a spike if I decided to treat you the way everybody else does." Their nails dig into her shoulders. "So dont test me." Her eyes suddenly go wide truly believing that she could have destroyed everything. She looks down “Well i’m ‘sorry’ “ She stated, sarcastic as ever. Okay. Okay, FUCK this girl. Fucking twat. "Okay, come on." They straighten up and grab her by her arm. There's matches somewhere here. Or a candle. The furnace cover is hot as hell. They start draggin her in the dirextion of the stairs that lead to the maintenance floor/basement. "Look, you're really forcing my hand here." Also not true. They really want to see what burning skin looks like. She trys to pull away from them. “Where are you-“ She stops in her tracks when she she’s the stairs. She looks up at them, then back down the stairs. “No no please- I’m sorry ok?” Panic sets in, she try’s to run. Their nails dig in harder. "No, c'mon, this is how it works!" They give a good yank and pull her down the first few steps, the footsteps echoing from metal stairs to cement (?) walls. "It won't be that bad!" They try to not sound /that/ jovial. But she deserves it, they think. They make more headway down the stairs. She starts kicking and screaming. She knowns this is only going to worsen the situation, but she’s so overwhelmed with this panic she doesn’t care. “Let go of me you fucking creep!” She yells. Well, creep is way overstating it! They arent gettin off on the thought of a grimy little kid! Bleh! "You goddamn-!" They grab her hair and pull it. "I just fucking told you not to push me too far!" They stop moving down the stairs to stand in front of her. "The furnace could easily burn you to a clean crisp." They'd never actually kill her, they dont have that authority. But, hey! Threats are /very/ fun! She giggles, “Kill me you fucking pussy!” She said while trying to push away. "There's things worse than death!" They tug her down by her hair and arm, now at the last few steps until the door to the furnace room. The air wavers with the heat. The door will be hot enough for her to learn the lesson. They fight down a grin at the thought of smashing her face against the scalding metal and banging it against the door again and again.“Wonder why your stuck with my group, your to much of a pussy to even kill a teenage girl!” She’s shaking with fear. “That’s probably why you’ll never actually be a leader!” She yells in his face. Theyre both just a few feet away from the door. "I'm not the one crying." They grin. "You should see how happy a kid looks when theyre about to die." Keeping eye contact, they take her hand and press it again the door. Even just holding it, they can feel the heat, hear the sizzle of flesh against metal. They carry on talking. "They're smiling. They do this happy sigh as they stare up at the hellhole's ceiling. You don't get that luxury. You give that eternsl freedom to others, and at the same time you remove them from here. Its a win-win!" She screams in agony and try’s to pull back. “There’s somthing mentally fucking wrong wi-“ She is weezing for breath “With you!”

Okay, thats true. They give a nonchalant grin in response. Their hand grabs her hair again. They move her head closer to the door. "All that hard work, and you still decide to push back against everything im trying to teach you!" They sigh. "You think the outside world is going to be nice? What, with theivery, trafficking, arson, et cetera, this place seems great! Why else do you think I come here so often? Why else do you think I have all these scars?" The scars are mostly from mundane activities. But she doesnt need to knows that.The girl elbows them in the jaw. She doesn’t care what ‘lesson’ he’s trying to teach her, all she cares about is getting the fuck away from him. “I’d rather be out there!” She yells in his face. They work their jaw, wincing, then they resch for the doorknob. "I have a proposition. This is your last chance. You swear to stop desecrating /everything/ we work towards," they turn the knob, "or you learn what its like to have melting liquid for skin." She looks at him. There’s no way she’s giving in now, she’s too deep in. If she gives up now she’ll look weak. “I’m not swearing to shit.” She scoffs. They sigh. Their hand burns. The furnace isnt /blazing/ right now. But an hour in there would definitely fuck her up. Hopefully some trauma so shes easier to mould. They open the door and pull her in front of them. Tjey put their foot square on her back and kick-shoves her into the room. They close the door and leer through the tiny window at their eye level. She collapses on the ground. The room is extremely hot, it feels like her lungs are collapsing in on themselves. She tries to push open the door but winces in pain from the door nob. “It wasn’t even my idea!” She yells at him. Cyrus shrugs. Not their problem! They rest their chin on one hand. With the ither the turn the thermostat down a bit. Its no fun if she passes out. And not like the other kids /need/ the warmth that badly. They check their watch. They should go now. They look down at their hand. Yikes, okay, they should probably take xare of that, too. They stary making their way up the stairs and to the exit of the building. She screams after him, hoping that maybe just maybe she can get out. The mask does not help with the heat. She bangs her head against the wall in anger. They look down at the stairway. Looking around, they spot another caretaker. They catch their eye and gesture to the basement. The man on the other side of the room nods. Cyrus signs for 1 hour. The man nods again. Cyrus opens the door and stepa through. •Poor girl• they think with no pity. But she deserves it. They walk down the hilly path. •Theres that cafe everyone at 'work' brings up. It's worth a taste.•

its early morning so perfect time to talk about le clans..

OK so jaggedclan :) they live in the mountains and tend to be pretty varied in appearance because they’re the most accepting of rogues, loners and kittypets so that brings in a lotta new genes and markings and etc :] actually sometimes the clans will send outsiders to jaggedclan if said outsiders want to join a clan. one thing all jaggedclan cats have in common tho is that they’ve got very strong hind legs !!! they do a lot of jumping up in the mountains !!!!!!! jaggedclan cats are usually pretty big, but its not uncommon to see smaller cats cause of outsiders tho !!!! since a lot of cats tend to be bigger, jaggedclan actually hunts really big prey sometimes :3 i havent decided what exactly that prey IS because erm idk where the clans are in the real world yet oopsie. for the festival, they usually bring gems or cool rocks as gifts and they ALWAYS bring a big ass piece(s) of prey that everyone can share cause they’re in charge of the feast. their form of like ermmm leader/deputy is actually a monarchy !! well sort of, the next leader isnt based off of like, who was born first, its more that they just see whos best fit for the position. they also have like this whole thing where they’re the “holiest” cause the moonsprings are closest to them! aka they see themselves as the luminary’s most specialest clan

marshclan is very WET they are that one gif of the cat that is wet. they are kind of like riverclan 2.0 but they’re cursed (L + ratio). they’re not ACTUALLY cursed, but everyone thinks they are because when the clans found the moonsprings, their med cats took the lichen from there to put back in their camp, but the lichen actually like sorta releases spores or whatever and makes them sick. so like every spring some cats will come down with whatever sickness the lichen is causing. but the other clans dont know that ofc so theyre just like “this is happening to u because u took shit from the moonsprings -_-” . marshclan is too stubborn to get rid of it tho :p . SO the marsh itself takes care of it for them !!!!! sometimes their camp will get flooded, so they move herbs and prey to some nearby hills that dont get flooded ! ofc they dont bother taking the lichen with them, so it gets washed away. they always replace it back when they move back into camp tho. obviously they can all swim !!!!! and they sometimes work in pairs to kill big birds (like erm herons and stuff, not eagles and such). for the festival they bring shells and flowers as gifts and are usually in charge of decorating the area ! for marshclan, usually the oldest cats lead the clan [unless they’re unable to], partially because of the lichen sickness (not uncommon for it to be fatal D: so cats living to an old age is seen as really good) and also partially because their very first leader [the cat that lead them to their current territory] was old as hell so they’re continuing that sorta tradition basically !! they’re a very very chill clan but do not argue with them they will end up tearing u to pieces @_@ (pov berryclan and marshclan were fighting over a strip of land and berryclan suffered HUGE losses) (fun fact that piece of land is now the place for the festival !!!!!! festival was created for peace :])

yahoooooo berryclan they can do awesome things (like eat berries). despite living very close to twolegs + kittypets, they do NOT like kittypets !!!!!!!!! well its not so much that they dont like them (they’re perfectly friendly and all !! they wouldnt attack them or somethin like that) its just that they wouldnt really ever accept them into their clan. berryclan prides themselves on being cool and the best and a lot of the clan sees kittypets as soft and so theyre like “theyre not cool i dont want em :/” usually tho if the kittypet does something crazy cool theyll be like “oh ok shit yea ok come on in” and actually a leader was a kittypet once !! but once again its still pretty rare for kittypets to be let in :pensive: . rogues + loners are usually welcome tho :] ! they do need to still ‘prove’ themselves tho, just not to the extent that they expect kittypets to. jaggeclan has jumping, marshclan has swimming, berryclan has eating berries !!! jk but also true (berries are good if theyre low on prey, other clans usually cant handle them very well because theyre not used to the taste and find them gross!) ok but actually, berryclan is pretty fast !!!! they loveeeeee to race and apprentices especially love to race near the twolegs as like, a cool dangerous thing! their leader is whoever is the coolest and im not joking they have sorta like all these trials to go thru and whoever makes it the farthest or finishes is leader! it can definitely be overturned tho. for example, say a cat that almost no one likes makes it the farthest thru the challenges, the clan can straight up say “nah we dont like u.” and then they the leader spot will go to second place or third place and the clan will vote again! beyond 2nd and 3rd place, theyre usually not considered cause someone likeable enough usually gets top 3. for the festival, theyre in charge of organizing the events and they bring berries and trinkets as gifts! they bring berries to the other clans cause they think its funny to see them try to eat as many as they can lol

so, whats the deal with demian anyways?

long story short: was born and instantly abandoned, fed power by a demon for long enough to survive, grew up to be the worlds biggest asshole selling drugs, ended up fighting a huge demon threat, got gay.

long story long: demian was born somewhere in the shiverpeaks to two priory explorers that kind of did an oppsie while huddling for warmth, and they're really not in the mood to raise a child while exploring ancient tombs. so like, it's not like anyone knows about this kid, they may as well leave it in some cave and just piss off. so they did that. its whatever.

so we have a little asura newborn in a scary old cave in the shiverpeaks, and the baby should probably die any moment now. well, she doesnt, for some fucking reason. turns out some mysterious demonic entity was so attracted by the yummy smell of a sad lonely abandoned left to die little baby, and was like. fuck yea. dinnar🔥but like, thats a baby, and despite all that distress and fear its feeling, thats not a good snack, so the demonic entity just decided to chill within that baby for a while. maybe once she'd grow she makes a better snack.

so now we have a baby that is also possessed by an unknown demon, and it kind of can't die from hunger or thirst or cold, and it takes a while, but other explorers find the child, pick it up, take it to safety, and now it grows up somewhere between hoelbrak and lions arch, she never really has a home or a family, just gets nursed to health by someone who was kind enough to take her in for a while, but otherwise she's just being fed by everyone she comes across like a stray cat.

she gets older and finally chooses a name, demian. she begins to make money, selling people things she found on the ground and pretending like theyre worth something, swearing that they have some special powers. demian is a little odd, she senses things that others dont, she looks strange, sometimes it seems as though shes seeing things, so that alone often convinces people that maybe her snake oil does work.

silly rocks she found on the ground turn into vials of river water with supposed healing powers, then into strange mushrooms she found. she knows how to make money, shes oddly charismatic yet scary at the same time. shes a businesswoman at its finest, she cares about her survival and making money and nothing else. she grows up to be ruthless, and really fucking mean.

youd think the demon wouldve eaten her by now. well, as you can tell, it hasn't. its still there in her head or her body or wherever, and it doesnt seem like it wants to leave. instead, its feeding demian power. its giving her abilities to see and sense things, other demons of whatever kind, and to fight them. not kill them, probably, but to banish them somehow. demian doesnt know what exactly her powers do, but she seems to attract demons, and this is just a way to get rid of them and protect herself. like everything she does. she doesnt question things, pretends like these moments of possession are normal or not happening at all. whatever. its whatever, really.

somewhere in lions arch, she finds an empty structure, left in a hurry, rotting and abandoned. theres an odd smell to it. theres something in there. demian doesnt mind. theres something in her too, and its never bothered her. she opens the haunt, a club and means to sell more alcohol.

Note in my phone last night..when i go on social medias that i have not become desensitized to (not facebook ig or tumblr or like..youtube. But reddit tik tok twitter etc.) this is consistently i feel
