Imagine if the tributes escaped during the preparations for the interviews. Just a thought.

They're in classrooms right? Those will probably have vents. So imagine if the tributes asked what would happen leading up to the games before Brandy even stabbed Arachne and they decided to risk escaping then. They all make it through the bombing because of this tentatively hopeful alliance and through Sejanus they find out they'll be in classrooms. So the tributes strong enough to bash someone over the head effectively but small enough to fit in the ventilation shafts all knock out their mentors (possibly with heartfelt apologies and reassurances that it's nothing personal, just a matter of "you're not in mortal danger and I am" if they like them) and help the less strong ones to take out theirs. Then they take out the peacekeepers guarding the tributes that don't fit in the vents and work together to get out of the building before anyone knows what's happening. It's a whole mission impossible sequence as they all leave through various exits so if one of them gets caught, the others won't be. Through stealthing and strategically causing distractions to get peacekeepers out of the way without drawing attention, they make it out. By the time anyone realizes the mentors are out cold there's no trace left of these kids.

irl i don't normally tell people my pronouns unless they directly ask, but this has led to a very silly occurrence i call DLC pronouns. my gender is a sidequest you can unlock in the dialogue tree if your character has a high enough lgbtqia+ stat . or if my pride keyring falls out of my pocket.

Wait a damn minute Merlin is an actual nightmare of a servant. Imagine you're the Prince and all of a sudden and only two seconds after surviving an assassination attempt you're stuck with this scrawny, clumsy fucking dude with a really shifty air about him who spends literal days in the tavern with zero notice, steals your food, tried to spy on a guest, doesn't let you hunt, can never fucking be found when you need him even though he is the literal manservant to the prince, which you would think should be a priority but apparently he has better things to do, and is always talking like he's the only thing standing between you and certain death???? Then he gives you attitude? Literally I would throw things at him too. Arthur is misunderstood he's actually being too nice

Just had another fix it AU and idk how I didn’t think of this earlier! So you know how the tributes are transported around in cattle cars? Well, Otto and Ginnee probably know at least a little bit about how those were made, right? If not then they had plenty of chances to figure them out. What if, the first night in the zoo, they gather the other tributes and pitch a plan? And all the others gleefully take this chance and start plotting right along.

With an escape route in place, they make sure they have as watertight of a plan as possible. Various little changes happen that lead to none of the tributes dying before, during, or after the bombing. And then finally, the day of the Hunger Games comes. They picked this day because all the peacekeepers will be at the arena. The rest of the city will likely be less secure. Sejanus got them a map of the city so they know where they’ll be going and they know there won’t be peacekeepers behind the cart. As they’re taken to the arena, Otto and Ginnee quietly take apart the floor and the tributes crawl out of the cart one by one, hiding in alleyways as soon as they’re on the ground until everyone is out. Once the cart is out of view they reconvene and book it in the opposite direction. Thanks to their planning they got out in an empty part of the route and have a good amount of time before they’re discovered. Marcus leads them through the underground and by the time anyone notices anything’s amiss the tributes are long gone.

While I was reading about the ATLA LA creators butchering Sokka's character arc and the Kyoshi Warriors' plot it suddenly hit me

In 2x05 "Avatar's Day" Aang wears full Avatar Kyoshi gear at his trial that Sokka and Katara brought from the Kyoshi island including accurately done makeup

They didn't bring the sensei and Aang couldn't go with them as he was imprisoned, obviously

There's exactly one person in the team who spend the most time with the Kyoshi Warriors

Sokka wore AND learned how to do the Kyoshi makeup, and used his new skill to help Aang months later

And by omitting this "unnecessary" tidbit of him being introduced to the Kyoshi outfit in S1 the LA creators caused a plothole way farther down the line

(unless they're planning on removing the Avatar's Day plot altogether, which is quite big on worldbuilding, should I say)

Like, the og show plot is very condensed while not appearing to be as such, that is until one tries to get rid of the "extra" "not-needed" scenes and nothing makes sense anymore.

You know what I think is wasted potential? Gwaine and Lancelot being a comedic duo. Think about it, they're in so many ways opposite but they have the same core of loyalty and courage.

Lancelot's chivalry and goodie two shoes behaviour and Gwaine's disrespect and drinking on the job. 🤝

there are a lot of really funny moments that are caused by Jamie Lannister developing from a pretty one dimensional evil cunty villain to one of the most complicated characters in the series in the span of like. two books but I think my favorite is the moment in AGOT where Robert Baratheon threatens to make him Warden of the East so that Stannis or Sweetrobin won’t have it. ​because the point is that ned and the reader are like OH NO the evil scheming KINGSLAYER who throws CHILDREN out WINDOWS given high office this cannot come to pass but like. Literally cannot imagine anything JAIME LANNISTER would hate more than having to do MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT WORK in the VALE can you IMAGINE.
