It has been a great time from March 2022 till now, at the time of writing. Just seeing people being on the road, being social and especially patronizing the late night events put on by the entertainment industry that helps to make Jamaica the entertainment mecca it is purported to be the world over. Live musical performances provide avenues where people, and in some cases whole communities, could generate income on the day of the event. International music festivals featuring reggae music and dancehall, attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world and people from all over Jamaica. 

And thus we have quite a few concert and event images in #BAY29 from @breddawarren, @hinds_, and @houseofcaoss. We have @iamtanyastephens on the cover where we enquire about her feelings about her career and what level of madness it takes to put out her brand of music, we also look into fresh acts: @malie_music and @imeru_tafari and how they are navigating their space in the industry. 

We also have features dedicated to the exploration of the land that we love through @beingjamaican and @islandgoseek with a significant contribution from the pen and lens of @gadstone_.

Also our friends at @islandmusicclub has some cool inserts in this publication so Enjoy!! Our team who brought it all together are: @tuckerjayson18, @musicphill, @reggaeology, @alymartine and @scottbraq - who provided us with our cover image. Ginigog did his thing with the layouts and colour grading so it should be an immersive experience for all who gets their hands on one.

Romantic Reveries, Volume 33

You join us in the calm after the metaphorical, yet fulfilling, storm that was the month of March. Each week brought with it new challenges, new lessons and, of course, new products. As a business owner, it’s always so rewarding to reflect back on the journey the team and I have been on. We are blessed to work in such a fun and creative space and we love to share these moments with you all.

With the end of the month bringing in the Easter holidays, my family and I travelled to Taghazout in Morocco for a long weekend of blue seas and sunshine – although the sunshine didn’t get the memo for most of our trip!  Nonetheless, we enjoyed every precious family moment, embracing the local surfing culture, enjoying long bike rides to local towns, and swooning over the colourful painted earthenware.  And no trip to Morocco is complete without a camel ride!     

As anyone who works within the world of interiors will know, spring is always filled with new product launches, which lend themselves to home shows and expos.  March hosts London Design Week at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, a hub for brands, designers, journalists and shoppers.  A melange of pattern, stripes, rich colour, embroidery, jacquard and trimmings galore, it was an inspiration overload – if that is possible!  It was great to catch up with familiar faces and soak in the creative surroundings. For me, it’s impossible to walk into a fabric showroom and not feel compelled to draw mental sketches of statement headboards and soft furnishings.

While we love designing and launching new furniture and accessories, we do remind ourselves of the timelessness of our existing pieces, which we are always wanting to portray in new ways. Trade secret – the right styling can totally transform the feel and appearance of a staple bed.

Those of you who follow us on social media may have seen some behind the scenes shots of our most recent photoshoot. This two-day shoot required all hands on deck – with the entire FB team lending a helping hand building beds, styling, packing down and countless cups of tea and biscuits!

Our vision was to capture green freshness overlaid with rich warm tones, and we hope that has been translated into the images and videos.  We feel it was our best styling yet (although, I must admit, I’m biased!) with unmatched synergy between our photographer and creative team. This new photography is already being fed into the product pages of our website – we hope you love it as much as we do.

You are making amazing moves to redefine beauty standards surrounding age – how would you like to see other brands adopt this messaging?

Instead, as an industry, we have a responsibility to champion the inherent value and beauty within all women, celebrating our achievements and experience. No matter what, we must never allow anyone to consider us invisible.

What is one piece of skincare advice we should all know?

As mature skin tends to be drier and less able to retain moisture, I always recommend incorporating Hyaluronic Acid into your skincare routine. Before Studio10, I had a long career in the beauty industry that spanned more than 20 years. As a member of our target demographic myself, I understand the unique challenges and desires that come with mature skin and I’ve made it my mission to redefine beauty for women as they age with a strong PROAGE narrative – beauty is ageless.

With so many incredible products to choose from, what are your three hero products?

As women, we’re always on the go – I understand the importance of a quick and easy makeup routine that still leaves me feeling confident and put-together. Week of July 15th

This week was a little crazy and filled with so many blessings, if you believe in that sort of thing haha. Some many great things happened this week and I wanted to share and collect my thoughts in one place.

Podcast

I was asked to be on Victor Devonnes Burlesque's podcast. I was supposed to record on Thursday of this week but I had to push it back for a photo shoot ( speak on that further down) I am looking forward to being able to share my story and the things that inspire me. Is it weird that I'm excited to chat about my thought process on how I go along creating an act or a costume? Its not super special but ice always been curious to see how my differs from others. like where does someone inspo come from when they are creating a new persona? When I first understood I wanted to do burlesque and create a persona so different from my own life. I sought out different looks and fashion eras I liked as a child. As a black kid growing up in Nebraska idolizing the spice girls and their fashion I dared not mimiced it in fear of being called ‘fast’ or white because of my interests. The ability of being able to LOUD and BRIGHT with my fashion and accesories made me excited to create this persona.

Even though I created this being that was supposed to ‘free’ me I still found myself being stifled and having some fear about being.. too done up or coming across as a clown. A fear I've just learned how to shead and understand that my art wasnt created for the male or even female gaze. So I am looking forward to that. Thank you for coming to my TED TALK

A decade ago I used to work for a podcast based out of Florida. I would interview porn stars or actors that appeared on tv shows on max, hbo etc.. C list or D list celebs. I was playing with the idea of possibly doing a podcast and chatting with different queer artists chat about their queerness, art and other shit that inspires them. I know what youre thinking.. Purris, everyone has a podcast now a damn days. ITS JUST A THOUGHT. I bring it up because the person who run it reached out to be about becoming a personality again. So I asked him if he was looking for new programming. I’m still working on ideas so I am able to present a stable idea to him. Who knows, could be nothing could be somthing.

I had my first photoshoot with a local business based out of Nebraska and I had an absolute blast! the director of the photoshoot saw a reel of mine and really enjoyed the aesthetic and asked me to join the photo shoot the following week. So I wanted to share a few images :) I can see myself coming back to the photo spot for personal photo before the summer is up. Iowa is good for that lol.

Now, the first pop-up was for their 2022 New Year's Gatsby Gala, a 20's themed New Year's Eve party. Wait, I'm moving too fast.

Let's talk about Secret Pour. This bar has been open for about a year or more in Brooklyn, NY. The owners, Roberto and Jaime, are wonderful, social people that built this business from the ground up. It started as underground parties in their basement and they dreamed bigger, okay! They had the guts. They have years of working in hospitality, bartending specifically, and in managerial restaurant positions, in New York City. 

This bar is different, okay, because it is a blend of Roberto and Jaime. Their personalities and art and cultural preferences shine. I walked in one day and they were playing Donnie Darko on the TV with subtitles, wow. Yes, it has a bar like every other bar - but it is the atmosphere, the people, the drinks, the pool table.... and the secret door that opens to a performance space where hip-hop bounces off the walls, poetry weaves webs under low lights, creatives are exchanging unfurling ideas, everyone feels accepted, and culture is constantly blooming.  

Jesslyn Blue Tarot was honored to pop up at Secret Pour for their Great Gatsby Gala and their one-year anniversary on May 13th, 2023. Thank you for having me in your space!

No one wants to hear every single detail, therefore highlights!

1st Pop-Up: Hands clasping in anticipation! What a party, ya'll. I was set up in the back towards the pool table. It was practical and a perfect spot. I felt right in on the action, but not right in on the action where it would be too crowded and noisy eventually, because yes, it got PACKED! That was a super busy night for the bar and Jesslyn Blue Tarot. At times, I barely had a moment to use the restroom, and small lines for readings formed. There were 20's dancers scattered throughout the bar and we cheered when the ball dropped with a unified champagne toast! Thank you to all who came through to get a reading and just to say hello!

I had to stop doing tarot after about 4-5 hours, then I joined in on the festivities. Did an impromptu photoshoot out front with some amazing, creative women! 

2nd Pop-Up:  The one-year anniversary was definitely for the culture, for New York City, for Brooklyn, and for the people. I was situated near the front of the bar but still near the back by the secret door. I used one of their booths this time and had a cute red lamp as my ambiance. There was a Supreme Bars event happening in the secret room. I was jamming, okay, hip hop culture lives. Hip-hop is the daughter of poetry, ya dig? I'm very multi-talent in that my first love is poetry and performing it. It saved my life since childhood. 

I spoke to a few people that approached my table, but this time they were hesitant. That's okay. We spoke briefly but amicably and even shook hands. Some sat down to chat and commend me for knowing a special skill that they have no idea about. When the people started wanting readings, they were wonderful. The best querents a tarot reader could ask for. They weren't so skeptical that they made the reading unpleasant nor did they talk over me, they were ready to receive and hear the messages. As a tarot reader, that is all I ask for. Please receive, process, and do what you feel is best with the information and guidance that has been provided. 

Beyond a doubt, I had the pleasure of helping people who were grateful and enjoyed intellectual conversations about life and our inner growth. If you're reading this, you guys were so great and truly blessed me with being able to talk to you, get to know you, and help you. 

Oh, I also closed up my pop-up shop and decided to play some rounds of pool after 4-5 hours of tarot reading. I didn't win, but I came close, okay, super close. Such is life. Next time!

I am really really sorry for the super delayed testimonial.

I still remembered when my then boyfriend suddenly told his family that he intended to marry me, on Feb 14 2015. It was a rush, heart attack on my part. Due to that, I was caught off guard and was in a panic mode.

While having my lunch break at work, I casually asked my ex-colleague Dilah if she can recommend/knew any MUA. Partly because I dunno where to search and partly due to the panic attack, I couldn't think properly. She thought for a moment, opened up her FB and went to your page.

"Do you like this kind of make up?"

"How would I know? I don't even know how to put on make up!!"

"Oh ya, I think you can go for her. Most people I recommend liked her service"

With that, I sent in a query to your FB page and also to your mobile number. No doubt you did get confused as I did not introduce myself properly since my FB page name was different from my full name, yet you never failed to answer all my queries and never ending questions and assured my doubts.

Fast forward to 24th March 2015, in the early afternoon, when I set the appointment to have a trial make up with you, I was greeted with a warm welcome to your place. Knowing that I have sensitive skin and I seldom put on make up, you were able to do 'your magic' and transformed me from an ugly duckling to a beautiful princess. I have never been made up that way, nor do I know how to even alight my eyebrows. Forget YouTube / make up tutorials, I can and will never be able to achieve the look that you gave me that day.

All my imperfections were addressed and it felt awkward for me to smile with the lipstick on me. I was sold, looking flawless with the eye make up. It really made my eyes 'pop out', catching attention. If I were to blink coyly or do that Puss in Boots look, confirm people will melt.

After we left, me and Dilah went to a cafe at Selegie to chillax (chill and relax). 1 minah & 1 minah-ci sitting for drinks and light snacks. Passerbys were looking at us, especially me, and honestly I felt shy but confident too. That for once the make up changed my looks and I was more presentable to the public. I reached home after midnight that day, and my dad saw the trial make up.

"Bagus make up dia, tak jatuh.." (Her make up is good, it stays well). Even my dad was impressed with it.

After removal of the make up, I went to sleep. I waited for a few days; if I were to have any skin allergy due to my skin sensitivity. Alhamdullilah, no such issues or outbreaks. That was when I know that you HAVE to be my MUA for my big event.

On the day of my solemnization, Feb 29 2016, I was excited yet also nervous. Excited to be beautiful again but nervous for the upcoming events. Work stress and tying up loose ends for last minute things for that day played a part too, yet you never failed to calm me down. You can notice the tension building up inside me.

You asked what colours I would like to have for my eyes, I trusted you to decide what's best. It was purple that you chose, and with the same make up techniques I was transformed to an angel. With my gown and hijab, you dressed me up and assisted with my veil. Honestly, I was so blown away with my transformation. I looked so tranquil and serene, so angelic. It is true what they said, brides look so beautiful on their big day. Thanks to the professionalism and meticulous works from the MUA. Your works were reflected on me on that important day in my life. Never will I ever forget how I looked on that day.

You stayed a while to watch over me during the solemnization part, and assisted me to keep calm. It was a breeze, Alhamdullilah, and everyone present at the event wanted to take pictures with me, until my jaw was almost stiff from the smiling. Hahaha.

I am truly honoured and blessed to have you as my MUA, thanks to Dilah's recommendations and also to your expertise. You were so detailed with your work and your advise was on point during my solemnization event.

Some MUA can only work with a particular skin tone, but you are so good you can blend and cater to every skin tone. That is what true professionalism is. I was in good hands when I'm with you, no doubt about it. So much so that your quality is recognised and well-known by many.

Capturing Forever: Stunning Wedding Photoshoot of Himanshu and Vineeta

Himanshu and Vineeta’s wedding photoshoot was a divine experience. The couple has a very fun-loving nature. Let us take you on the journey of the couple's wedding photoshoot and share our experience with you.

Pre-wedding photoshoot at The Perfect Valley

The Perfect Valley, located in the North of Delhi, is the perfect destination for a pre-wedding photoshoot in Delhi. The studio had so many beautiful photography spots along with different setups and prompts. Our team of photographers and videographers took the advantage of the venue's elegant backdrop and the couple’s beauty made the photos gorgeous. The couple was dressed in more than one outfit to match the prompts and the set. The photos turned out vibrant and eye-pleasing. The excitement of the wedding could be seen on their faces.

Mehndi Ceremony

The Mehndi Ceremony of the bride was held at Keshav Puram Dharamshala. The venue was decently tidy and was capable of accommodating the number of guests. The henna left a dark color and the pattern was gorgeous. The relatives and friends were very happy and excited about the bride. Wedding Photo Planet was able to capture all the beautiful and candid moments of the guests present at the moment. Everyone gave blessings to the bride and wished the best for her future. The love and passion in everybody’s eyes made the event memorable. 

Haldi Ceremony

The Haldi of the bride was held on the next day at the same venue as the Mehndi ceremony. The bride was looking lovely as always. Friends and relatives started applying the Haldi paste on the bride for the glow. The smile on the bride's face was unmatchable. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as the bride-to-be was adorned with intricate henna designs on her hands and feet. The wedding photo planet team was there to capture every moment of this special occasion, from the laughter and chatter of the women to the applied henna and the bride's radiant smile. The result was a set of beautiful, candid shots that perfectly captured the spirit of the Mehndi ceremony and the love and happiness that surrounded Vineeta on her big day.

The Big Day 

The venue for the wedding was “Marina Dreams” in Wazirpur. The property was big and beautiful and was offering a spacious indoor hall for the guests. The venue was beautifully decorated and was illuminated with all the lights. The Parlour shoot of the bride was done at the venue itself, while the Sehrabandi of the groom was done at the groom’s house. The groom was dressed in a fabulous Sherwani. The baraat departed from the Groom’s home in the evening.

While the bride was at the venue, getting ready for her big day. Surrounded by the makeup artists, who were all engaged with the bride. The smile on the bride’s face was sparkling and it was an emotional moment. Our team at Wedding Photo Planet captured all the cherishable moments of the wedding on their cameras. The joy in the atmosphere was unmatchable. The bride was dressed in a gorgeous red lehenga. The final look of the bride was as beautiful as the picture. 

And now, finally, it was the time everybody was waiting for. The groom reached the venue and all the friends and relatives from the bride’s side welcomed the groom. The venue organized a great and glorious entry for the groom with all the sparkles and music. After the groom, it was time for the bride to show up on the stage. Just like the groom, the bride was also looking gorgeous and a grand entry was organized by the venue for the bride. 

Our photographers captured all the happy faces from the venue. The groom got emotional after watching her partner in that beautiful avatar. 

In the end, the couple got happily married and all the friends and relatives present gave them best wishes and blessings. It was a emotional and heart-touching event for us as well. The collection of photos and videos came out very attractive and heart-warming. The couple loved our work and appreciated the job done by our cameramen.

I’d like to request hc’s of the Brothers and Diavolo reacting to an MC that’s so cute, she could pass off as a doll. If she stands perfectly still, she could pass off as a full sized doll until she moves again. She has adorable doe eyes, wears cute clothes (Lolita fashion or just has an anime girl style), and even makes cute desserts. If the usual MC was weak and frail to them already, Doll!MC seems so dainty, precious, and fragile; these guys would ban paper if she ever got a paper cut.

Oooooo this is really interesting! I can just imagine Doll!MC just making everyone so scared every time she moves because they could probably hurt themselves just bumping into a wall because they look so fragile lol. These were short, so hope you enjoy!

Sebastian has been nagging you to do a pregnancy photoshoot from the very beginning. He has been obsessed with the idea of capturing your current blessed state and have a whole bunch of photos of you with the belly. You were hesitant however, you’ve never been one to enjoy taking photos, you always only did it for others, not because you wanted to and this situation wasn’t different either at first. But as the months passed by and your belly grew, you kind of realized why he was so eager to do it. Nothing can assure that you’ll ever be pregnant again and it would be nice to have some physical memories of this period of time for when you get older. And even if you are going to get pregnant again, it won’t be the same, it’s such a once in a lifetime, unique thing that Sebastian is right for wanting to preserve the moments.

So when you finally told your now fiancé that you changed your mind, he could barely contain his excitement and started to look for a photographer for the project. You gave him full control over it, knowing that he’ll make sure it’s going to be perfect. And as you reached the eighth month, every detail was smoothed out and the day of the photoshoot finally came.

Sitting in the chair as two professionals worked on your hair and makeup, you couldn’t help but feel anxious to stand in front of the camera. It’s just not your scene and with the fancy, sheer clothing you’ll be wearing, your insecurities are surely acting up, telling you that the photos will turn out bad.

Sebastian knows you well enough to see how nervous you are. Sitting beside you, he takes your hand and gently kisses your knuckles.

“You look beautiful,” he murmurs gently and you just smile back at him.

“I’m not even ready yet.”

“But you look beautiful without the hair and makeup too,” he smirks back, squeezing your hand gently before his palm cups your belly, scratching it carefully.

“I’m not a model, how am I gonna pose?” you scrunch your nose, staring at your reflection in the mirror.

“They will instruct you, don’t worry. And besides, you can pose. You always look great in photos.”

“Really? I always feel so odd and weird,” you sigh, thinking back at the very few times you were his date on the red carpet and you had to pose for the hundreds of photographers. You felt uncomfortable to be in the middle of the attention, but you’d do anything for him, so of course you went.

“What are you talking about? You’re always stunning, definitely better in posing than me!” he chuckles, making you laugh as well. Before big events, you often catch him standing in front of the mirror, trying out a few poses and expressions he wants to sport on the red carpet and you always sneak a look at him. For you, no matter what he does he will always be the most handsome and best looking man everywhere.

When your glam is all done you get dressed in the first outfit and head to the room where the photoshoot is going to take place. The concept is pretty simple, the pictures will be most likely black and white. The vision is to make you appear a little like just a silhouette, emphasizing lines of your form, especially your belly, of course. The sheer dress allows your figure to be seen perfectly on the photos and though you are wearing underwear underneath the fabric, you can only hope it’ll turn out PG rated so you can actually use the pictures later.

The photographer is a woman, her name is Lilah and she seems like such a sweet and genuine person and also a very talented artist. It helps you to relax as she tells you all about what she imagined the pictures to be like and what you’ll have to do. You’re holding Sebastian’s hand the whole time and when Lilah asks if you can start you nod somewhat confidently.

“Alright, I’ll be right here,” Seb tells you, kissing you softly before stepping out of the frame to stand next to Lilah.

At first you still feel nervous, not sure what to do and how, just trying to follow Lilah’s words while she is continuously taking photos of you, capturing hundreds of moments just so you can have a few good ones at the end. But with time, you find yourself growing more confident and though you still have no idea what you’re doing, at least you are now enjoying it.

Throughout the whole session, Sebastian stands there, watching you with bright eyes, making you feel like an actual super model. He has always been your biggest fan, if you can say you have any, never failing to support you in any way you needed and he is doing it again just with his presence. When it’s time for an outfit change he is quick to help you into the dressing room, out of your current set into the new one.

“How are the pictures coming together?” you ask him as they do a quick retouch on your hair.

“You look like a literal goddess, baby. It makes me wish you’d stay like this forever,” he chuckles.

“Oh god, don’t say that! Being pregnant forever would be like Hell!” you groan at just the thought of it. While you truly are enjoying this special time, it surely has quite a lot of downsides to it that wouldn’t be beneficial to have for the rest of your life.

“I know, I just… love seeing you like this.”

“Does that mean that you’d want… maybe another one?” you ask carefully. You’ve been meaning to ask him if he plans on having more, but never really found the right time to bring it up. Now might not be that either, but it felt fitting for the conversation.

“Yeah! Yeah, of course,” he nods, genuinely meaning the words. Cupping your face in his hands he kisses you sweetly as you feel relieved that you’re on the same page.

“Alright, great,” you nod, barely able to hold back your smile. “Can I ask you a favor?”

“Sure, anything.”

“I want a picture with you,” you tell him with a smirk.

“Like, in the photoshoot?”

“Of course! It’s our baby, after all,” you chuckle softly at his surprised reaction as if he had no role in the situation.

“Oh, okay, sure!” he nods smiling.

Lilah is more than happy to include him in some of the pictures and when you’re all done, it’s obvious your favorites are the ones with him, especially the ones that are genuine and quite random, like when he made you laugh as he was hugging you from behind, or when he picked you up in bridal style out of nowhere.

It doesn’t take long to have them framed in your home, preserved forever and on full display for anyone who comes visiting you. But you also can’t wait for a third person to be photographed soon, joining your little family.

The photoshoot finishes in the late afternoon, golden sunshine streaming down Wooyoung's slim figure and bathing him in warm light. With the ocean in the background shimmering in alternating shades of blue green and pinkish orange, he looks like a heaven-sent angel, touched down on earth to grace humanity with a piece of unearthly beauty.

It's perfect, you think as Mingi flips through the pictures on his camera, showing you each outfit, each pose Wooyoung held that day. The fitted suit, the coiffed hair, the light but prominent golden jewelry slung around his neck and arms... You allow yourself a moment of pride as you smile at Mingi. "These are great," you say, patting his shoulder. "Run them over by Hongjoong for a second opinion, but if he likes them, I think we're good to submit."

Mingi beams, flashing you a quick farewell before going off to find Hongjoong. You turn your attention to Wooyoung, who's thanking a group of staff on their way off the beach. "Wooyoung!" you call, stepping carefully over the sand.

At the sound of his name, a wide smile splashes across Wooyoung's face like the small waves breaking on the ocean, throwing bits of golden light into the air. "Y/N!" He bounds over, that smile radiating even more light than the sun. "How did I look?"

You smile at that, a variant of the question he's asked every shoot since that night so many months ago when he leaned in close, all silver jewelry and silk clothes and that alluring face, and asked you, "How do I look?" Unlike that time, though, you no longer have any issue answering the question Wooyoung so loves to ask.

"Gorgeous," you answer honestly. "If the magazine tells us to re-shoot these, I'm going to have to sue them or something. I think the photos we got this time are some of the best you've ever modeled." Reaching up, you rearrange the thin golden necklace around his throat. The metal is warm from the heat of his skin, and it sparkles in the sun. "So tell me, Woo, what's it like being the god of the sun at golden hour?"

He laughs at that, loud and cackling and with such genuine cheer that even though everyone here is used to his antics and giggles, they turn around anyway to watch him laugh with a smile. "It feels amazing," he replies, opening his arms with a dramatic flair. The thin material of his flowing sleeves ripples in the ocean breeze, making him look almost like a butterfly spreading its wings. "All these mortals gazing upon me, staring at me, taking pictures of me..."

"Alright alright, that's enough," you laugh, pushing him lightly. "We get it, you're beautiful."

"You didn't let me finish." Wooyoung pouts, his hands dropping back to his side. "I was about to say there was only one mortal who mattered."

You raise an eyebrow, even as your heart thuds a little faster. "And who might that be?"

"You." Wooyoung leans in and kisses you playfully. "Who else?"

"You sap." You shake your head, not even bothering to hide your smile anymore. "Let's get back to the hotel room. I think everyone's pretty much done here, and you need to get changed. I don't want these clothes ruined."

Face washed bare of makeup and hair still damp from the shower, Wooyoung walks out of the bathroom as you finish putting the clothes back where they belong. His footsteps pad softly on the floor and before you know it, he's hugging you from behind, chin hooked over your shoulder. "Hi."

"Hi, yourself." You turn your head back as much as you can to catch a glimpse of his face, eyes closed and lips smiling in seeming peace. "Tired?"

"No more than usual." He yawns, slightly, pulling away from your back to sit on the bed. "Are we still going to dinner?"

"As long as you're up for it." You take in his outfit - silk shirt with gold accents done by your hand, black pants, a thin golden pendant hung around his neck. "Judging by what you're wearing, I'm assuming that's a yes?"

"Yeah!" Wooyoung grins, bouncing slightly on the mattress. You break into a smile - looking at him like this, it's so hard to believe he was the same shining Adonis from several hours ago on the beach, basking in the golden sun like a god from the heavens. Wooyoung is no less beautiful in any situation, but as he beams up at you, you can't help but admire the duality he possess on a daily basis. It's fascinating. "You like the outfit? You made it."

You laugh. "I made the shirt," you correct, sitting next to him on the bed to adjust the collar. "Still playing up the sun god angle, aren't you?"

His grin turns slightly devilish. "Do you like it?"

This time you purposely withhold an answer, even though the smile on your face growing wider by the second spells everything out as clear as day. "What do you think?" you ask.

Wooyoung's eyes narrow. He tilts his head to one side, letting the collar you just adjusted slip down again to reveal a smooth expanse of skin. Internally, one part of you snorts at the obvious accidentally-on-purpose display, but the other part of you keeps feeling warmer by the second. He was giggling just minutes ago - how does he change so fast?

"I think..." He pauses, and instinctively you know that the tables have turned. Whatever hold you once had over him disappears as Wooyoung leans in, placing a warm hand on your thigh. "I think you like it very much," he says, breath ghosting over your skin.

Involuntarily, you shiver slightly. The sun outside the window streams over Wooyoung's body, shimmering on the silk with its gold accents, bathing him in the warmth of a god sending a blessing on their chosen ones. "You're right," you whisper, almost afraid that if you speak too loudly, you'll break this blissful golden spell Wooyoung has cast on you, bathing you in his warm light. "I do."

The hand on your thigh presses a little more. "Want to show me how much?"

You raise an eyebrow. "Didn't you say you wanted dinner?"

"Dinner can wait." Wooyoung gently pushes you into the mattress with a grin somewhere between a laugh and a smirk. You really want to kiss it. "We still have a bit of golden hour left, don't we?"

The Zayn/ Zach Sang interview is happening, for real this time (fingers crossed)! It’s scheduled for tomorrow!! Zach promises to ask lots of NIL questions. And I really believe it’ll happen this time, Zayn OUT THERE doing promo-- he did multiple radio spots yesterday and answered every question thrown his way however stupid, even throwing caution to the wind and taking on the one they’re all always trying to avoid (though not so far to the wind as to choose any of the other options each of which would be a scandal in a different way- you can take the boy out of the media training but...)- “I’ll tell you what,” he said, “Niall is my favorite. How about that? There you go. Niall makes the best music. Yeah I will say that he makes better music than me. Yeah, I’m a Niall fan." About the grammys he said, “It's nothing to do with my own personal gain because even if they nominated me at this stage, I wouldn't even go and accept the award because it doesn't mean anything to me.”

Zayn talked about how he just wanted to do a song with Ingrid, he didn’t know what, “I didn’t expect it to be anything less than great but it was better than that… it hit the nail on the head” and “the fact that it’s an important message in the song makes it better.” He also said that he listens to a lot of country music and would really like to collab with Chris Stapleton. OKAY! TBH I can hear how that makes sense- amazing, I am manifesting this, come on universe! He also said that he will have new music this year in an old school R&B style though and that he would like to do live shows after the pandemic!! She included a picture of the two of them talking backstage in her big grammys wrap up post (plus he’s visible behind her in a shot of her winning- say what you will about the orange jacket it’s great for visibility!) And Lil NasX, perfect as always, has something to say about Harry too- he says “stop using me as a bait against harry styles. I love harry, if y’all fw what I wear say it without mentioning him,” and posts a couple examples of the types of tweets he means such as “we have GOT to stop acting like Harry Styles is a male fashion icon when lil nas x is right there.” Stop pitting girls against each other2k21! Nas gets it, bless him. Oh yeah and an old pap video from DWD set of Harry going into Olivia’s trailer posted which I ignored because it was so completely uninteresting but apparently that’s a BIG DEAL to some people. Today makes a year of my favorite Photoshoot ever. I think I’ll never be able to overcome it, the significant value that it has for me is almost indescribable. Whenever possible, I want to thank the collaborators of this essay and article. The Making (and Remaking) of Timothée Chalamet from October 15, 2020 has been my greatest gift to date. I have tried numerous times to relate my feelings towards this since the day of its disclosure. As I always say and say again, reading that article was like reading a letter written by me. I remember reading, standing still for a few seconds and then crying, thinking, "Is it possible I’m feeling this?". When I read that Timothée kept himself in a hut in Woodstock, I imagined that he was seeking to hear himself, to feel his silence make great noise within himself. It was exactly what I did in that period, I distanced myself from everything in an Irbnb house in the middle of nowhere, many things were happening within me in that same period and lasted. This level of coincidence made me reflective in the future when I read this article. If you have a good heart and have always done everything completely correctly during your life, people discharge great expectations on you. And when you fail at all because you’re human, the world sucks you up, judges you and condemns you. You need to have good judgment, so you can keep up, I’ve learned that over time. However, self charging is almost torture. The will of liberation sometimes cries within us, I have always been the person who wants to carry the right feelings, to live in the right "way" (if there is one). There is an excerpt where Timothée shouts "I want to know how it is!" while attacking a bottle, I also wanted and still remain wanting. I remember one of those days when I was there, in the middle of nature reconnecting with my parts that, one day lost, was trying to recover, it rained almost all day. At night, I left the house after filling my belly with grapes and stood in the middle of the bush, listening to the sweet river run as more drops of water fall from the sky on it and on my head. My clothes were soaking wet, but I couldn’t move my feet, the wet grass comforted me and the rain refreshed me. That aroma of clean air and wet earth that was present during the rain, influenced my stay. It was like a final adjustment, my final tummy ache. I recommend always let the rain fall on your head, and cry if you want, it’s a blessing. Anyway, in October, when I read the GQ article I felt more connected to a feeling than ever, it was as if Timothée was a second part of me. Different situations, yes. But we feel similar. This reading as a whole filled me; and I could feel that, no matter how it starts or how it ends, we must know that we are doing our best. Most important of all, do it with love and truth, live what you believe and desire, your life is an art that you shape with your hands. Release, let it be. Timothée, I want to say that you are my privilege, you are like the sun and the moon and the stars, you are. Thank you for moving mountains by being just Timothée, a spirited, human boy.
