What’s Vertin’s UDIMO? Part 2

I tried to find my original ‘Hypothetical Vertin UDIMOs’ post but i think it got lost in everything else I’ve posted/reblogged.

But I want to bring this topic up again because the more I look into it, the more I’m convinced that Vertin’s UDIMO would actually be a snow leopard.

Yes, they might look majestic. Yes, they might be formidable predators. But they’re also the goofiest big cats I’ve ever seen. In every single video I’ve watched, they get up to the most Looney-Toons-esque shenanigans ever.

And honestly? I think that’s perfect for Vertin. The mysterious, poised Timekeeper who turns out to be just a mischievous teenager with a sweet tooth, a heart of gold and a fascination for frogs.

Additionally, it’s apparently being contested whether or not snow leopards are actually big cats, since their vocal cords are incapable of roaring. You could argue that this can reflect Vertin’s shitty arcanum and her role as an inferior pawn in the Foundation’s whims, but at that point I’m going into waffling territory.

Like this is literally just Vertin jumpscaring someone in the suitcase. Reminds me of that one Horrorpedia voiceline.

Ways to fix understimulation in your human darling ✨

1. Rock tumbler. Put human in large paint can with some porcelain grit and simply turn machine on :) they will be shiny and polished after

2. Bucket. Place darling in bottom of bucket, and attach string. Spin quickly for the centrifugal force to keep them in the bucket! Very important that you don’t stop spinning them unless they vomit. For safety, it’s best you do this one over something soft incase they fall out after you stop the spinning.

3. Giles Corey. Named after a famous human who loved this! :) Lay darling down, and add weighted blankets (or if in a pinch, one blanket, and several flat stones) until they stop exhibiting mental illness. Humans love the pressure, and weighted blankets are often sold as comfort items for this reason.

Watching blender animation tutorials and realizing I did things in the most scuffed but still functional way imaginable. Really made things more difficult than it needed to be. Very smart and uh definitely not using my limited video editing knowledge of key frames to do animation.. no.. (yes)
