Killing it Girl... 💅🏻🔥
I love this song by Jhope, and it inspired this Pick a Pile reading for you guys. This is not just for "girls or women", this post is for everyone and they are welcome to read it if they resonate with the title :)
PAP: How do others perceive me, even when I’m not saying much?
Warning- Long post ahead.
If this reading resonates with you, kindly share it to help your reader :)
Masterlist -Paid Readings-Paid Readings Reviews-PAC Readings
Choose your pile intuitively. Take what resonates and leave the other things. If you think this reading is not for you then choose another pile. If still it doesn't resonate then this might not be your reading. There are Three Piles.
Hello Pile 1~~~(the ones with purple aura)
High Priestess , Queen of Swords ,The Moon and 7 of Wands
There’s something in your silence that isn’t just peaceful because bro it’s powerful. People feel it the moment you walk in. Even if you're not trying to do anything, your presence naturally commands respect. You don't have to raise your voice or show off to be noticed as your energy does all the talking. You come off as someone who knows way more than they let on, and that's exactly why people are both fascinated and slightly intimidated by you. You could be sitting quietly in a corner, and still, people will wonder what you're thinking, what you’re observing, and how much you actually know??? You radiate a “don’t mess with me” elegance. Not loud... Not aggressive. Just this silent strength that says you’ve been through things and you came out sharper because of it. Even when you're keeping to yourself, people can still feel your inner authority. They see you as someone who carries deep emotional intelligence... someone who doesn't waste their energy on small talk or drama. You might not open up easily, and that just adds more to the your mysterious aura guys. It’s like you’re wrapped in velvet...soft on the outside, but inside, there is this fire. People may even assume that you're hard to approach or emotionally unavailable but that’s just because your energy doesn't beg for validation. You're not here to entertain. You’re here to exist deeply. And that alone makes people watch you a little longer than they meant to.( I also got people might stare you a lot but that's more of their curious gaze).Your silence makes people reflect on themselves. It’s wild how even without words, you have the power to make others question what they’re doing. You're not the type to trust easily, and people pick up on that. Some admire it, others are intimidated by it but no one can ignore it. Your emotional boundaries are strict, and your standards are clear without you needing to explain them. You could look someone in the eye and say nothing and still, they’d feel like they just had a full conversation with your soul.In relationships, friendships, even in public, people view you as the mysterious one the one who isn’t loud but is always watching, knowing, feeling. You might not realize just how many people notice you from afar. You don't show off your intelligence or depth and it just leaks (yeah, i got this specific word)out naturally in your energy. You don’t give away your presence easily, and that’s your power.
Bottom line guys? Even in your silence, you are unforgettable. People remember how you made them feel and that chill down their spine, that awe, that pull and they wonder, "Who are they really?" That mystery? That quiet confidence? That's what makes you the flame in a room full of flickers. (like a moth to flame...this song could resonate with you)
If you liked the reading, book a personal reading with me or you could leave a tip for the reader.
Pile 2~~~(the ones with blue aura)
Temperance ,The Star ,4 of Swords and Knight of Pentacles
Guys...You don’t need to say much for people to feel your presence and your aura ... it’s calm, collected, and oddly comforting. There’s this thing about you guys that says, “I’m not here to prove anything” kind of energy about you that just hits different. You don’t beg for attention, you don’t try to be the loudest or the flashiest and that’s exactly why people respect you. You're like that soft breeze on a hot day… soothing, and exactly what people didn’t know they needed. When you’re around, people feel like they can exhale. ( guys my AC just went crazy when I typing this lol) You give them peace without even meaning to.Even when you’re quiet, people can tell you’re emotionally stable. You have this quiet wisdom, like someone who knows how to move through life without losing their center. You don’t react to everything and that alone sets you apart. You come off as mature, unbothered, and deeply rooted in your own energy. People admire how you carry yourself ...there’s a patience and grace to your silence. You don’t rush to speak. You wait. You observe. You understand things on a deeper level. And that makes people trust you, even before they really know you. There’s this healer energy about you... like people may not realize it, but just being in your vicinity makes them feel better. You probably attract friends or strangers who open up to you randomly, even if you didn’t ask. That’s because your energy is safe. You don’t come with chaos or judgment. You just are...i don't know how to you but you.You also carry a subtle glow that people remember. It’s not in-your-face. It’s not too much for anyone to take in. But it's magnetic in its own way. You have a quiet confidence that doesn’t need attention to feel seen. People might see you as someone who minds their business, takes care of themself, and doesn’t get dragged into nonsense and they respect the hell out of that. You're not emotionally chaotic.
There’s also this slow-and-steady vibe in how you move. People might see you as someone who doesn’t rush into anything, someone who takes their time with life, decisions, people. That kind of energy makes others feel like you’re reliable, even if they don’t know you well. You don’t play games, you don’t fake vibes. What you see is what you get and what you get is someone solid.Even if you’re introverted or private, you still have a presence that lingers even after you are gone. People notice when you’re there. And they definitely notice when you’re gone. You might be the type who others think about at random... “I wonder what they are up to. They were nice to be around.” It’s not flashy or loud, but it’s deep. You leave a calm imprint on people’s souls.
So even when you're just sitting there, saying nothing… your energy speaks: “I’m here, I’m real, I’m enough.” And guys!!! that’s rare.
If you liked the reading, book a personal reading with me or you could leave a tip for the reader.
Pile 3~~~(the ones with yellow aura)
The Fool, Page of Wands ,The Sun and 6 of Cups
Okay so straightaway guys,There’s something about your presence that’s both soft and impossible to ignore. Even when you’re quiet, even when you’re not trying to stand out, people notice you. You have this naturally bright, radiant energy that doesn’t scream for attention, but it draws people in without even trying. It’s not just your face or how you dress …guys it’s something deeper. Something in your energy feels light, golden, and a little mysterious, like a moment from a dream you can’t quite place but can’t forget either. (i know it is too much to say lol). You give off a sense of freshness, like someone who brings a different perspective or vibe to a space. You might be playful, expressive in small ways, or simply have a unique way of existing that makes people feel intrigued. Your silence doesn’t create walls rather it creates curiosity. People feel like there’s a whole world inside you that they haven’t even had the glimpse of. They might try to figure you out, wonder what you’re thinking, or want to get closer just to feel more of you.
You give the main character energy without even trying. You could be walking down the street with your headphones on, lost in your own little world and someone across the road will remember your vibe. You don’t do anything for attention, and yet, somehow, you steal the show. You’re not mysterious in a cold or distant way but it’s more like… magical. You make people feel like they just witnessed something rare and beautiful, and they don’t even know why they felt the way they did. There’s also this innocent, nostalgic energy to you. People may find comfort in your presence, like you remind them of a happy memory or someone they once knew and loved. (oddly I got the vibes of gradma..like comforting especially in a good way)Even when you’re not speaking, you carry emotion people can feel you.You give that soft “golden hour” glow bro….beautiful, fleeting, and emotionally impactful.
People probably underestimate you at first, but then later they’re like, “Wait… they were actually the one.” Your presence grows on them. They might forget what anyone else said, but they’ll remember how you felt. That little smile, the way you carry yourself, the softness in your eyes …it stays with them. You leave traces of yourself in places you don’t even realize, just by being you. You’re the kind of person people want to know more about. Even if you’re quiet or reserved, you carry a dreamer’s energy… light, curious. You’re not afraid to be different, and that difference is your magic. You don’t fit into boxes yet you glide around them and create your own space.
Bottom line? You’re memorable in the most unexpected way. Even in silence, you shine. Not in a blinding spotlight kind of way but like a star in the corner of the sky where you know you just keep moving your eye back, again and again. You’re the plot twist,(i again gave you the main character energy you guys lol) the hidden gem, the soft glow people wish they hadn’t overlooked.
If you liked the reading, book a personal reading with me or you could leave a tip for the reader.
Thank you and Love,
Infinity

KPop Demon Hunters Theory
After watching the movie I did a quick dive on Korean mythology and Folklore and I think I found something interesting that might be where they go should it get a sequel. First things first though I am not an expert so if I'm off based with my assumptions tell me. Also spoilers.
The first thing I found out is the Korean mythology doesn't really seem to have demons as we typically view them and how the movie presents them. BUT the way they are designed is a shoe in for Dokkaebi. While they might look like what we in the west associate with demons the Dokkaebi are actually more similar in nature to the Fae. They are not typically depicted as malicious but rather mischievous. There are several sub categories of Dokkaebi and some are more typically evil but on the whole they are more likely to prank a human than kill one. And this sent me down a rabbit hole of thought, What if this is on purpose?
The movie tells us these demons have been attacking humans forever but that its all in service to Gwi-Ma. So what if he's forcing them to go against their own nature to do this? That he is controlling them in one way or another? That would explain why they are not all that adapt at fighting like none are really a challenge. However they are very good at disguising themselves which would track with their mythological roots. Like even the Saja Boys all of them seem to actually enjoy messing with Huntrix like the variety show scenes legit felt like a Looney Tunes bit. Which again would make sense given their roots.
And speaking of the Saja Boys they take on the appearance of Jeoseung Saja the Korean take on the concept of a grim reaper if thats truly what they are and its not just a costume then that's kinda weird right? Jeoseung Saja reap souls taking them to be judged but can also help them resolve unfinished business and can take bribes to extend a persons life. Again these are neutral figures. Why fight for Gwi-Ma?
Another option for what Jinu specifically might be is a Gwishin a type a ghost with unfinished business and are typically vengeful because of it. Actually the "water demons" we see in the bathouse are more than likely Mul Gwishin or water ghosts, who themselves drowned and then do the same to others.
But what I am finding here is that these creatures are natural and a part of the world deeply connected to humans. So this is my theory:
What if the Honmoon was only meant to be temporary? If Gwi-Ma took control of these creatures that were forced to act outside their true nature making him stronger, then the original hunters would only be forced to fight them to protect humans. I think the Honmoon was a bandage to reduce Gwi-Ma's ability and strength so that one day he could be destroyed and thereby those under his control freed. However over the centuries this original purpose was lost to time along with the knowledge of what the demons really are.
This could be why Rumi's mom connected with a demon. She could have begun to question things and sought out a demon for answers and well then came Rumi. (Dokkaebi are said to have children with humans who supernatural powers.)
So my pitch for the sequel is Huntrix learning this truth and trying to restore the balance that was lost.

sorry if you've been asked this before , but do you have any advice for someone who's looking to get better at backgrounds ? It's the one part of my art I struggle with immensely and your illustrative pieces are so intricate and inspiring !! I was wondering if there were methods you used that you'd be able to explain for someone wanting to attempt more dynamic perspectives and backgrounds :]
thank you for thinking so!! my perspective class really helped me level up my backgrounds/environments. theres a few things i keep in mind
references!! i dont use them as much as i should but try to compile a reference board. the environment, things in that environment, color palettes, etc. the Vibes. heres a job board i had to make for class that also includes thumbnails and values
contrast/value: our eyes are drawn to areas of high contrast (light and dark). this can help establish your focal point. the farther away things get from view the less contrasted they become (for Science reasons. air particles impact our view. the more things in the air the more impacted our vision becomes). be conscious of where you use high contrast. and also use a full range of values!! light and dark and everything in between. i like to put a black color filter over my pieces to make sure i have enough contrast in value. remember this value chart. this goes for light/shade as well as the values you use when picking palettes for your characters/environment. contrast contrast contrast !!! if it feels muddy it needs more contrast!!

semi connected to this: lose your edges!! what this means is that when it comes to shadows, the edges between an object and its environment can get lost. if something feels like its floaty/disconnected from the environment, where the object meets shadow might not be dark enough
also connected to this: gradients!! think of how things exist in 3d space. light and shadow shift around the body of an object. heres a quick example my prof used. the wall the window is on (if light is coming through) will be darker, while the wall opposite the window will be lit. the wall connecting those two walls will be gradient light to dark. this also ties into things like bounce lighting (light rays hit an object and bounce off of it, scattering the light (and color) to the objects around it. and keeps bouncing until it dissipates/is too weak to see). adding gradients helps an environment feel less flat
perspective: leading lines help direct a viewers gaze around the image. the type of perspective you use can help accentuate directionality. the type of perspective you use can also accentuate the mood you want
for 2 point you can have the two vanishing points be vertical instead of just horizontal. this example only shows 3 point down, but you can use 3 point up with the third point above the horizon line instead of below. i dont really find much use for 4 point. i think 5 point is so fun. if youre doing a down or up perspective, you may want to keep the horizon line low/high in the frame, or out of the frame completely. its best to avoid having your horizon line at the center of the image in general. im a fan of a low horizon myself. sometimes things in an environment arent perfectly aligned (like a messy room), so using multiple perspectives/vanishing points may be necessary. also its good to have your vanishing points spread out/off the page. having them closer together make things look warped or unnatural. in reality vanishing points are typically extremely wide from each other. you can have one vanishing point on the page, but usually more than that looks squished (unless thats the vibe youre going for)
side note for perspective: its ok if things dont perfectly go to the vanishing points!! most things in reality dont. this is where using vicinity helps. as long as youre close enough its fine and honestly helps things look more natural. im just lazy and use the csp perspective rulers so unless im doing 5 pt or free handing itll be perfect perspective
also another side note: personalize a space. think of clutter. make your environments look lived in. adding organic shapes to an environment (like clothes or plants etc) can help break up hard lines/edges from furniture and walls and stuff
i hope this isnt confusing i feel like im just vomiting words. so, tldr: know the perspectives you have to work with, leading lines help direct a viewers eyes around the composition, a range of value is important, our eyes are drawn to high contrast areas, USE REFERENCES, gradients add depth, lose your edges in shadow, personalize spaces

how to shift explained by karma
(since people keep requesting this + sorry for the wait)
also before i start, keep in mind this is just how i perceive how to shift. you may be different which is why i recommend outsourcing & forming your own biases as well as formulating your own personal approach that aligns with your preferences.
this is my take. i'm not saying this is the one true way™ or whatever…….. and if something else works for you?? AMAZING pls do that. maybe it helps. maybe it's just another way to look at it. idk. just take whatever resonates and leave the rest.
ok now continue reading ↓↓↓
okay so like… it's not about like. "doing" something the right way. it's not about the technique or the script or laying a certain way or counting to 100 or whateverrrrr. like those things are cool but that's not what gets you there.
what makes i think makes it work is ….becoming aware. i know. you want to slap me rn. but stay with me. straying away the idea that you’re “trying” to shift !!!!!!!!!!
shifting is literally just becoming aware of another reality right? and how do you become aware of something? you stop looking at what isn't there.
it’s literally detaching from your current reality and attaching to your desired one. like. THAT’S IT.. that’s what every method is trying to help you do. it’s like changing the dial on a radio…..you’re not “running” somewhere, you’re tuning into what’s already there.
and yeah okay. that sounds simple. so like why is it so HARD??
i think this is bcs shifting is suuuper personal. like REALLY personal. it's related to so many aspects of you, what you feel at ease with, what your hopes and fears are… it's like a fingerprint. no one else can do it all for you or paste it onto you.
what that means is some ppl might need approach it differently, some might need to confront internal wounds / fears first, you get the gist.
that's why there ain't no "one size fits all" method or key for the lack of a better word. it's an internal process. tools (scripts, visualizations, affs) are there to help you align w/ the reality you want to experience.
so why the fuck is it so difficult to let go? bcs your whole life you’ve been taught to trust only what you see. what is acceptable in society. even when you wanna leave, the conditioned part of your brain brain freaks out like “wait, what if it’s not safe? what if i’m crazy?” and boom your focus is here.
instead allow yourself to become aware of the reality you desire. not just daydream of it. but feel you are there. what would you think about, care about, or feel? people tackle this aspect in many ways. through visualization. affs. but the core remains the same. you immerse yourself in that reality internally.
it's not about seeing it. it's about deciding.
you can do this at any time (awake, falling asleep, whatever) a huge known way to trick your brain into detaching is releasing focus of this reality, this body, this version of self. that’s also why people always are pushing for the void state method or shifting when drowsy. it’s easier to detach that way.
detach from cr: stop clinging to this reality like it's the sole truth. release thoughts that ground you here. that is what meditation, counting, & deep breathing usually do. quiet the internal noise.
attach to dr: shift your attention into where you want to become aware of. feel it. think it. that's what affirmations, and visualization do for you….they let you immerse yourself there before you "see" it.
ok that’s how i view it. keep in mind i’m not a guru or something. i just got this request many times.

Bingsu Gone Wrong??

ִֶָ࣪☾. 한지숭 —
paring: bf!han x m!reader
genre: miscellaneous fluff
warnings: none?
wc / cc : 909 / 4.8k
skz summer masterlist
synopsis —---
all you wanted was to make some patbingsu but somehow ice flew everywhere around your kitchen so now you're left with puddles and a pouty han jisung
—-- ⪩⪨⪩⪨
It was hot, like really hot these pass few days. You stayed inside mostly, because each and every time you stepped outside you felt like you would melt from either the sun's heat rays or the humid Korean air. Yeah, staying inside was a must. Thank God you worked at home.
It was a lazy afternoon, you had clocked out early since you finished all your work. Now you are scrolling through your feed while laying on the couch. You come across a video of a bingsu review. You were suddenly craving the shaved ice dessert. You could totally make some right now... You get off the couch, quickly heading over to the kitchen. You open your fridge, you had some left over sweet red beans from another dish you made a couple days ago, mangos and blueberries. You knew you also had condensed milk as well.
The door bell suddenly rings. You weren't expecting anyone but you had an idea of who may be at the door. You open the door to reveal your boyfriend, Jisung.
“Hi Handsome.” He greets. You had only opened the door for just a second before the giant blast of heatwave hits your face. You pull him inside and shut the door to keep the hot air out.
“Babe, you're just in time. I was about to make some patbingsu.” You explain as he follows you to the kitchen. You have everything you need to make the treat, all that's left was to shave the ice. “Want to help?”
“Sure!”
You take out your blender from the bottom cabinet before plugging it in the outlet. You take a big bowl to the fridge to get some ice. Once there was enough ice, you bring the bowl to the counter.
“You can do the ice while I cut up the fruit.” You instruct your boyfriend with a simple task.
“Alrighty, that I can do.” You nod before going over to the cutting board. You only need to cut the mangos, there was no need to cut the blueberries for they were tiny enough. Jisung watches you go about the plain task of cutting the fruit. There was just something about the way you were doing it which he found attractive. Like how your muscles slightly flexed when you put pressure on the knife, and how your face looked when focused.
“Honey, the ice will melt before you even get a chance to shave it if you keep staring at me like you are now,” you chide with a shake of your head but you couldn't stop the grin from appearing on your face.
“Right. I can't help it though, you're too handsome.” He whines before dumping the ice into the machine.
“Ji, make sure—” Before you could tell him to make sure the lid was closed properly, before you even got the words out, Jisung starts the machine. And well, you couldn't warn him soon enough. The blender lid flys off.
Ice pieces begin to fly all over the kitchen making Jisung let out a string of swears as he tries to turn it off. When he finally turns it off, the counters, floors, his face and even the ceiling was wet.
“Holy shit!” You laugh when you saw the water dripping from his face, the view was too funny to not laugh. Your boyfriend pouts. “Wow! I was but a second to late to prevent this.”
You go and pat his head. “It's alright, Ji. We'll just clean this up and start again.”
You grab a couple paper towels and hand him some. You two clean up the mess in no time. But the pout was still on Jisung's face. He looks so cute with his jieekies and adorable pout. You couldn't help but kiss him. His pout melts off his lips as he kisses you back. His back hits the counter. You pull back.
“Let's try this again, but this time you make sure the blender lid on tight, hmm?” He blushes at the octave your voice lowers to. The position was rather intimate too, you towering him while he's trapped against the counter was doing things to his heart.
“Y-yeah.” He swallows hard.
You smirk a bit before taking a step back. You reach over to take the bowl and fill it up with ice once again. You bring it back over to Jisung who then dumps it into the blender with slight shakey hands. You must have really affected his heart a minute ago. This time he makes sure the lid was tightly secure before he turns on the blender. The kitchen soon fills with the sound of the machine spinning the blades to crush up the ice inside. After a couple minutes the ice was good enough for the bingsu.
You take out the bowls from the freezer and place them onto the counter. You poke Jisung's side while you reach over for the blender. You put the ice inside the bowls, then you place the mangos and blueberries on top, the red beans next, you had some mochi as well so you put those on top and lastly you drizzle condensed milk over the whole thing. It was done.
You hand your boyfriend his bowl and you take yours too. First bite was cold and refreshing, the perfect thing you needed this summer. Jisung hums in delight.
“Wanna watch Sailor moon?” You ask before taking another bite.
“Always.”

Something about KCD1 Henry after knowing KCD2 Henry is magical. I think there's actually a very well planned out character construction. The people of Skalitz and several Nobles treat Henry with a certain level of- either deference or definitely understanding. (So many people knew about him, I SWEAR.) Radzig encourages him to learn swordfighting and so does the random travelling knight that passes through Skalitz. Though Martin never explains it, he is clearly friendly with Radzig, claims to have known King Charles, fights incredibly against the Cumans. When Robart asks Henry to guard the battlements, Henry asks whether it is an order, and then explains he will be happy to help because he owes it to him- no peasant meekness in him, doing not because he was told by a man of greater ranking, but specifically because he is grateful. He is clearly in shock after Skalitz, and Lady Stephanie recounts her own woes- and its like, he learns very early, I think, that focusing on other's pain, other's troubles, is a great way to distract himself.
It is no wonder that he learns a bit of everything under the sun, that he seems to have no concept of certain people being born for limited roles, that he views authority as something to be respected but not held sacred- that he's willing to negotiate and talk peer-to-peer to God himself in his prayers.
Henry's incredibly original mentality for the time, and how he comes upon it organically, is... chef's kiss.
So I definitely do see what you're saying, and you actually brought up something I really love about the way KCD2 in particular is structured and the way that Henry himself is also crafted from the ground up.
Now, I don't know that I necessarily agree that all and sundry in Skalitz knew about Henry's parentage. The more people that know about a secret like that, the more likely they are to let it slip, and it's not like Radzig would have benefited in any way from people knowing that he has a bastard son. I also think that Henry is received kindly by so many people because he's Henry, the guy who does odd jobs for everyone and helps out left and right (even when he's a lazy layabout, that's just who he is at his core, you know?). I already grew up playing with swords and shit in this day and age, I think if I had grown up in the Middle Ages when they didn't have internet or literacy for the masses I would have spent even more time playing with swords. And Henry has a good bit more exposure to swords than most (though of course while Radzig encourages him, Martin clearly is trying to discourage him).
I would also argue that his ability to breach boundaries isn't necessarily something that was taught to him / part of how he was raised. Honest to god, I think that's just his personality with a healthy dash of naivety thrown in for good measure. Henry is good at adapting on the fly to changing circumstances and he is a deeply principled person at his core. He likewise cares very deeply about the people in his life that matter to him, hence being willing to break the rules to go bury his parents. He clearly did grow up a little bit irreverent, but that also just feels like part of his personality, cheeky little shit that he is. When Skalitz burns Henry is freed from the three states of man in a big way, and it lends him this wonderful flexibility that he most likely views as both a blessing and a curse (while Hans envies him deeply for it).
That's one thing I really love about what they did in KCD2. Henry not only exists simultaneously in all these different states, so does the other person that we can play as: Godwin. He's a noble, he was a priest, and he exists, first and foremost, among the peasantry, in part on account of his time in war. It's clearly where he feels most at home!
#ofc you could also argue that it's just the video game protagonist thing of it all#henry has to be this way to allow for the story to exist the way that it does#but no there is a massive growth arc in him and I love that so much#tam talks#kcd#kcd2 spoilers#kingdom come deliverance#henry of skalitz#kcd meta

[ * We had a really interesting conversation with someone about this, and it really made us want to talk about it more because it put a big part of our discomfort with endogenics and how they treat CDD systems into words. ]
[ * The question that started this whole thing was "why are people insisting that system is a medical term and should be CDD exclusive?" So we explained our personal view, that while it isn't medical and has a muddied history, the community as a whole started with CDD systems to begin with, and we want at least a few terms related to plurality to be CDD exclusive, with system being one of them. This lead to a super interesting conversation about how endos tend to be a bit obsessed with using all the same terms CDD systems do. ]
[ * One thing we see a lot in pro endo spaces is the insistence that anything CDD systems have, endos should to. Every term, every space, every discussion, all of it, we see a lot of (pro) endos insisting that endos should be involved too. ]
[ * When we made posts talking about our bad experiences with pro endo spaces, we immediately were told we need to include the fact that (pro) endos have bad experiences with anti endo spaces too and that anti endo spaces aren't perfect either, despite that it was one single post on this topic we made that didn't include it. The one time we don't, the point we were trying to get at was ignored because we didn't include (pro) endos in it. An anti endo makes a term specifically for CDD systems only? Endos immediately complain that they aren't included with this. Someone makes a post about CDD experiences? Chances are, an endo ends up making it about them. Someone mentions there needing to be more research into CDDs? Someone else says "Don't forget endos too!!" Someone makes a space for CDD systems only? People complain that endos aren't included. Even people we see saying that it's fine for there to be separate terms and spaces for CDD systems, they later say that they're only okay with spaces being separated by this and such, not CDD and non-CDD. Every time CDD systems do, make, or say something involving their systems, endos tend to insert themselves into the conversation. ]
[ * It's an odd obsession that I've noticed, and it's nice that I'm not the only one that notices it. It really does feel like endos want to seem involved with CDD systems in everything, like they want to seem similar to us in everything. I remember one time we got anons saying that system is "just a word" and that it's "not a problem if endos use it too" which is something I see a lot of (pro) endos saying. Which begs the question, why is it only "just a word" when we want it to be exclusive? If it's "just a word" why are you so obsessed with wanting to use it? ]
[ * They compared it to the situation with cripplepunk. For those that don't know, cripplepunk, also called cpunk (since "cripple" is a slur for the physically disabled) is exclusively for physically disabled people. Meaning that able-bodied ND/mentally disabled people aren't welcomed into cripplepunk spaces, as it's focused on specifically physical disability and the discrimination they face in particular. However, despite there being alternative terms/spaces made specifically for able-bodied ND people to use, eg. neuropunk, madpunk, and autipunk, many still try to get into cripplepunk spaces anyway, insisting it's for them too. While they are disabled too, and deserve spaces to talk about their disability and the ableism they face as a result of it, the ableism that people face does vary depending on whether they're physically or mentally disabled. There are similarities into the abeism both face, like being deemed "broken" or "useless", but there's still differences between them that are important to talk about and acknowledge, and there should be separation of language and spaces for it, while still having plenty of shared language and spaces. ]
[ * This comparison really stuck out to me, and I love it really. It perfectly describes how I feel about this, seeing endos so obsessed with sharing everything with CDD systems, and inserting themselves in everything involving us. It really helped us put into words why we think this obsession is so odd, and I feel like it's not only a very interesting conversation to have, but also an important one. ]

Hey, Kromie. What do you like about each particular sinner?
What an unlucky and miserable question to immediately come across upon receiving a truth serum. I'll list my coworkers in order just to make it easier for the viewers.
Dongbaek/01 - I have two favorite sinners and Dongbaek is one of them. Even though she is older than me, Dongbaek treats me as an equal. I appreciate that Dongbaek feels comfortable to speak her mind around me. She's relatively quiet most of the time so it feels special to have a good enough bond that she is comfortable holding a conversation with me. There is a mutual understanding between us that we will not force the other to speak about something they'd rather not share, and I truly appreciate that there is never any pressure when we hang out. Dongbaek also always smells pleasant. Surprisingly, she appears to carry a strong scent of flowers no matter where she goes-- so it's actually pretty nice to be her bus seat buddy. My sense of smell is pretty strong so I'm glad that the people I sit next to don't have an offensive smell. Another thing is that on days I am not particularly feeling well as we are traveling, both of my seat buddies will let me rest upon them. The amount of care Dongbaek shows is extremely touching. I know she is awkward, but she is genuinely such a good person.
Gretchen/02 - Gretchen gave me a purpose after I abandoned everything I was familiar with... I really appreciate that. It's also really nice to have a source of knowledge to draw from.
Don Quixote/03 - My other favorite sinner. He is also the other sinner I sit next to on the bus. Don Quixote is very fatherly towards me, but he doesn't necessarily try to parent me. It's more of... A father friend. It's a type of attention and care I've never gotten before, so to have someone show genuine care like he does is extremely touching. I want to return the same attention to him but... I have zero clue how to show how much I care. Ah. Don Quixote and I also have the mutual understanding that we both hold secrets, but we don't let that get in the way of our friendship. He doesn't push me about my past before limbus company-- he saw my point of view while we were fighting Nagel und Hammer for the golden bough... But those flashbacks never actually shared why I did what I did. It just showed me as a monster. Yet, Don Quixote still treats me as human anyways. He doesn't ask for me to explain my reasoning, he's the first one to be open with me. We both know that we may share our secrets if we ever feel like it's safe to, but there's never any pressure and we don't let that get in the way of our bonding. I also think Don Quixote is an amazing storyteller. He has so many stories, and I'm not quite sure how he remembers them all... But the fact that Don Quixote has such a good memory is amazing-- it's certainly good entertainment for the road trip we perpetually seem to be on. Though, even if he isn't telling a story he's a good conversationalist. I cherish the conversations I have with Don Quixote and Dongbaek. Oh, I think Don Quixote also has really interesting hair. I think he brushes it quite frequently, it always moves so gracefully without tangles. I think it would be fun to play with his hair, but... It may be a bit embarrassing to ask. Hehe.
Yuzu/04 - ....Um... (Well, how do I explain this in a way that won't be wildly misconstrued by the anons... ) To start with, I really appreciate Yuzu's bloodlust and efficiency. I know we both tend to avoid each other... We kinda started off on the wrong foot and I have zero clue how to talk to her now... Erm. Her wrath is very interesting to watch. It burns very hot, and the way she burns across the battlefield is almost like art. (Ugh, I still have to say it...) I guess I also find her face aesthetically pleasing? She's cute. Don't take that the wrong way, though. You guys tend to take things too far, it's not like that.
Marie/05 - Marie is genuinely fun to fight alongside. She is a reliable partner to have in battle. Marie also gave me a hug during ladies night once... That was really nice. She hugs really well.
Jia Xichun/06 - I can always count on Xichun to tell me the truth, even if both of knows it's going to hurt. Xichun doesn't bother hiding what she thinks about me, and it's nice to not have to guess.
Catherine/07 - Catherine and I typically keep our distance from each other, but I do think she has very interesting opinions. We both came from different backgrounds, and even if she's a spoiled pretty princess... I guess it gives her a unique view of the world and allows her to notice things I typically wouldn't.
Queequeg/08 - Queequeg is honestly very intimidating-- she could probably crush my skull if I offended her. But... I think she's a good listener. I also think her tattoos are really nice.
Sonya/09 - ...While I think his dream is unobtainable, I do find it admirable that he is working so hard towards it. I think Sonya is quite a good entertainer during ladies nights, he's very good at keeping the conversation flowing.
Jane Doe/10 - Our manager is extremely caring in her own way. Jante is quite goofy at times, but I feel like she's becoming more reliable in her decisions.
Kromer/11 - ...I'm a sinner so I guess I have to say something good about myself? Uh... Oh gosh, it's actually kind of weird to put myself on the spot like this. I guess I like my eyes? They are something I can get lost looking at in the mirror sometimes. There's a lot of little details in them.
Penelope/12 - I think Penelope's attempts to mother others is quite amusing. She's awkward about it in an adorable way. Though... I can sense that she's someone important, but she doesn't flaunt her power. I find that extremely intimidating because I don't quite know who she is, but I do value the sense of secrecy she has.
Yuri/13 - Yuri has a very fun personality. It's nice to spend time with her. I do think she lets other people get to her too much, but that sensitive side is also what makes her such a nice person. I think Yuri puts a lot of thought into how she looks everyday, and it's nice to see her try to dress up even while she's in her work uniform.

Luckily Jamie didn't ask Vale about his accident, and it helped Vale move past the uncomfortable (for him at least) moment. If he explained to Jamie what had happened, the man would understand why this was a sensitive topic, sure, but it would also kill the mood, not to mention open himself up to a lot of questions he didn't want to answer. So Vale just nodded and agreed, "Yeah, it does." Jamie understood the importance of discretion, that much was clear, and Vale appreciated that about the guy.
Shopping with Jamie was fun. Vale had never been much of a shopper, but he thought he might enjoy it more if he did it with a friend. "I wonder what it's like, looking like him," Vale said as they moved away from the deli counter, though he glanced back at the man, admiring the view one last time. "I mean, I wonder if people are just constantly throwing themselves at him, you know?" They moved through the aisles quickly, not that Vale was in a hurry because once their shopping was done, that might be the end of this fever dream of an encounter. Vale had gone from nearly breaking his own car window to shopping with a cute boy while checking out other cute boys. The day had certainly taken a turn for the better.
Vale couldn't help it: he started laughing at Jamie's comment. "I'm definitely not a rancher," he responded. "I live and work on my brother's ranch, but I'm..." Vale trailed off, trying to think of how he wanted to word this. "I'm...sort of a fish out of water there. My parents thought it was best I leave Seattle for awhile, and I didn't really have anywhere else to go." Vale didn't present this like some sob story - he didn't want or need any sympathy. It was just a statement of fact. "My brother is more of what you'd expect a rancher to be like," he went on. "Maybe I should get a cowboy hat. Do you think I could pull it off?" As he took the basket, Vale laughed, smiling at Jamie. "I only do this for the really cute guys, just so you know," he teased.
There was something about the way Jamie answered Vale's question that felt...well not dishonest, but like he was leaving parts out. But that was fine - Jamie didn't owe him anything, and Vale had left some of his own backstory out too. "So are you happy here now?" Vale asked Jamie. "Or are you still looking for your place? I can relate to that." Vale liked Cardinal Hill, but it didn't really feel like he belonged - here or anywhere else for that matter. "I'm good," he answered, "though I want some Nerds while we're here. Those are probably at the counter, right?"

Jamie had been ribbing him playfully, but he sensed the shift in Vale's demeanor when he talked about having gotten into an accident in the past and being careful since then. He was quiet for a moment and nodded. "Sorry to hear that. That sucks," he said, not pressing too hard into the matter. Maybe it was something hard to talk about, or maybe it wasn't. Jamie wasn't there to pry into the matters of someone he'd only just met.
When they hit the deli counter, Jamie smirked when he noticed Vale checking out the guy behind the counter after the comment he'd made. "Anyone with eyes would be hard pressed to pass him up, I think," he mused, moving past and continuing to grab the things he needed. It wasn't a lot, really. Mostly basics so he wouldn't starve to death at home. Bread, lunch meat, cheese. He was a quick shopper too, picking up everything without too much fuss.
It wasn't surprising to learn Vale was from Cardinal Hill. A lot of people Jamie knew were locals, or local-adjacent. "You're a rancher? You don't look like one, but then again you're the only rancher I've ever met, I think," he teased. Jamie always envisioned grizzled cowboys. When Vale asked to hold the basket, Jamie handed it over without fuss, glad that someone else wanted to hold it for him. "I could get used to this," he joked. Then the question was turned on him, on what brought him to this place.
"I kinda closed my eyes, threw a dart on a map, and it landed here," he said. "I wasn't happy where I was from. Decided to go make a life somewhere else." It wasn't a lie. It wasn't the whole truth either, but it wasn't something Jamie was ready to talk about to Vale, or anyone else for that matter. "I think I'm all set with this. You need anything else?" he asked, feeling like he was ready to head out.

one of my favourite aspects of supernatural that you very rarely see in paranormal shows is that sam and dean are already versed in the world they live in. there’s no sudden discovery of ghosts and demons and now they have to learn about them along with the audience; they are born into it and already know all about it. it allows the audience to follow their personal story instead of also trying to figure out this new world and its rules
the first season is full of knowledge we never see them learn; “w*ndigoes are in the minnesota woods or- or northern michigan. i’ve never even heard of one this far west.” […] “great. well then this [his gun] is useless.” (1x02), “you don’t break a curse. you get the hell out of its way.” (1x08), d: “it’s a god. a pagan god, anyway.” […] “the annual cycle of its killings? and the fact that the victims are always a man and a woman. like some kind of fertility right.” […] s: “the last meal. given to sacrificial victims. d: “yeah, i’m thinking a ritual sacrifice to appease some pagan god.” (1x11)
almost every episode in the first season is a monster they’ve faced before that they then explain to the audience in a way that should feel patronising; like it’s the same speech given over and over again but instead, the audience almost feels included in the knowledge. it’s stated with such an innate confidence and comfort in said knowledge that it feels like we already knew it too; “spirits and demons don't have to unlock doors. if they want inside, they just go through the walls.” […] “the claws, the speed that it moves; could be a skinwalker, maybe a black dog.” (1x02), “it's biblical numerology. you know noah's ark, it rained for forty days. the number means death.” (1x04), “no no no, not the reaper, a reaper. there's reaper lore in pretty much every culture on earth, it goes by 100 different names.” […] “you said it yourself that the clock stopped, right? reapers stop time. and you can only see 'em when they're coming at you which is why i could see it and you couldn't.” (1x12)
they already know and, at least in the first season, already have what they need to kill whatever they’re hunting; already know to salt and burn bones for spirits, fire for a w*ndigo, exorcisms for demons, a silver bullet to the heart for shapeshifters. there’s only three times in the entire first season that they run into something new to them; 1x14 when sam gets his first vision that leads him to another psychic, 1x16 when dean calls caleb for help on the sigil he put together and he tells him about daevas, and 1x20 when they find out vampires are real- and they only don’t know that bc john thought they were hunted to extinction and not worth mentioning
(there’s also technically two half instances if you count one of them knowing something the other doesn’t - sam figuring out the tulpa in 1x17 and dean already knowing about the shtriga in 1x18 - but those still rely on sam and dean having prior knowledge)
even when they’re uncertain about facing something, it’s not bc they don’t know what it is; it’s precisely bc they know what it is and acknowledge that it’ll be a difficult hunt (“i don't know, man. this isn't our normal gig. i mean, demons, they don't want anything, just death and destruction for its own sake. this is big. and i wish dad was here.” 1x04)
so much of the tension in paranormal shows typically comes from the main character(s) not knowing what is happening to them/the people around them and having to find out how to resolve it. supernatural is unique in that it operates more like a police procedural. the tension comes from solving the clues and identifying patterns to figure out who (what) the killer is and intercepting before they can take another victim
it’s such a different tone to go for when compared to other shows that came both before, during, and after its run. it sets sam and dean on even footing with each other since they both have the same knowledge going in, and it puts them in a place of authority usually reserved for an outside character
the shows i compare spn to most is charmed, buffy and teen wolf; every main character in those shows are brought into the paranormal world knowing nothing, putting them on the same level as the audience, and they have their mc interact with others already knowledgeable about that world in order to overcome their problem/monster of the week. the audience organically learns about this new world as the characters learn about it. it’s a sound writing strategy that prevents “as we already know”-style exposition but something that complicates it is if your world building isn’t unique or intriguing enough, this slow introduction can become boring
we’ve seen shows like these before; sitting through the same tropes of characters learning to use their powers, struggling with no longer feeling normal/relating to the regular world around them, and not knowing how much they can trust the people already involved in this new world gets repetitive. all three shows eventually reach the same level of comfort with their new world that spn starts with but if the characters aren’t enough to draw you in, you can end up dropping it before they reach that point (and often, before the overarching plot can really kick in and evolve the show beyond the villain of the week format)
it’s the superhero origin movie in tv format; dragged out and overplayed. dropping the audience into an established world of course comes with its own problems but you also have the benefit of pre-existing established character dynamics that let the audience slot in like they’ve always been there instead of just getting to know all the characters while the characters also get to know each other
sam and dean already knowing about the supernatural lets the audience immediately get to the core of the story; the conflict between sam and dean, the search for their father, and the mystery of what killed their mother
#i could go on forever theres literally so many examples#dean figuring the ‘two dark doubles’ is a shapeshifter sam figuring out the changing ghost is a tulpa#also peak how many of these examples come from dean despite them pushing so hard for sam to be the one knowing hunting theory#this format is why i cant stand watching the first season of charmed despite loving it so much#i just cant be bothered watching them have the same struggle ive seen a hundred times play out again#different genre but sons of anarchy does this well too; all the characters are already in the club life and already have inner conflict#spn having such a natural introduction makes me so glad they didnt go with the original plan of sam not knowing about hunting#that wouldve been Painful#watching spn so young has really shaped my view of media bc i legit cant stand things with a learning curve#give me an established world damnit#lord of the rings never stops to explain what a dwarf is! you just go with it! and it rules!#dean is just as theoretical and lore savvy as sam and id go as far to say he actually knows more#instead of trying to do this bullshit brains v brawn divide they shouldve done new tech vs analogue#sams laptop is famous and he also knows how to hack thing where the second dean doesnt know something he defaults to books#have dean be the one where if its written down he can find it almost like a proto bobby#they even kind of support that by him being the one to find the phoenix in s6 when they go through all their books#but this was 2005 and characters could only be so conplex and theyd already decided dean needed to be the hot one and sams the nerd one#side note how many of these metas am i going to write on this rewatch? tbd#side side note included all the quotes and episode numbers makes me feel so academic#coming out of my cage and ive been doing just fine.txt#carry on my wayward son#talk meta to me#meta#supernatural meta#spn#supernatural#dean winchester#sam winchester#save post

Yall are so biased it HURTS
Varian didn't harm 1 or 2 people, he actively said that he wanted to destroy the kingdom after he saved his father, and since he wasn't able to get his father back he went ahead with killing other people because he was angry. But it's ok cuz he had his redemption and we know his reasons and that he had a trauma of losing his father blablabla the Varian fandom loves to talk about that and say that he's the only poor guy in the story like he can't do no wrong (yes guys all the characters in this show do stupid things sometimes) and you guys also forget that King Frederic put him in jail, Rapunzel wasn't in command. It wasn't like "THE KINGDOM: SEND HIM TO PRISION FOR LIFE" it was King Frederic and he said he would actively help him blablabla we don't know what happens with Varian in jail because we're not watching his story in the second season so we don't know
Now if I listen one more time that Cass's arc was less valid then Varian's because Varian's reasons were understandable and hers were not I'm gonna explode because /1. Or you watched the show blindfolded /2. Or you guys don't understand how trauma can affect a person's worldview and specially childhood trauma in this case. I'm not saying that Cass was a poor baby, because she was blinded by rage and ALSO actively trying to kill people just like Varian was trying to kill people in S1, but you guys don't want to see that. Who do you think we have nothing left to lose? Because Varian knows how that was and he regrets it, because HE saw himself in Cassandra's anger and knew how it was to be doing stupid things. Something that pisses me the f off is when people mock the fact that Cass was "dragging this beef from 20 years ago" or "blaming Rapunzel from being kidnapped", you guys really lost the hability to interpret stories. She was abandoned by her biological mother and grew up knowing nothing about her bio family but had that low sense of self worth that she never knew where it came from, probably due to dissociative amnesia which I have experienced and it's awful being traumatized by something you don't remember but then one day something just clickes in your head and you're like "oh.... I was abused that day, how come I didn't remember that.. that's why I can't [do certain thing]" and everything comes crashing down. Zhan Tiri used Cassandra's vulnerability to convince her to take her anger out on Rapunzel, not because she was angry at Rapunzel for being kidnapped, but because Rapunzel makes her feel inferior since she so effortlessly gets the things Cassandra wants; like love, respect, and even her mother, even her mother. EVEN THOUGH Cassandra knew that woman was bad, she is so desperately trying to hold onto the memories she had of her that she tries to find out that in a moment, at least once, she was loved by that woman, trying to hold onto this hope despite the abuse Gothel put them two through, because she's trying SO HARDD to know that her mom loved her, just like how? JUST LIKE HOW ABUSE VICTIMS SOMETIMES DO WITH THEIR ABUSERS. PARENTS OR NOT. I believe this is so clear in the story, I don't get how this fandom doesn't get it. Zhan Tiri was taking advantage from her grudge towards Rapunzel, and once Cass finds out that she was manipulating her in "Once a Handmaiden" she goes to Corona to make amends with Rapunzel, but things didn't turn out the way she planned and because she's still with that awful view of self worth she runs off angry again. Guys HOW in heavens this fandom lost this. EUGENE SAYS IT. HE TELLS ABOUT IT IN THE SHOW 😭😭 he literally explains it
youtube
Varian was in the wrong just as much as Cassandra was. They both did stupid things because they were blinded by rage, and don't try to minimize what Varian did as something silly compared to Cassandra using the moonstone, because in season one this was in fact a big danger, since he was the villain of the season, but S3 needed to handle big magic and they needed a worthy enemy to be able to clash with Rapunzel's magical powers.
Rapunzel wasn't the one on command when Varian was arrested, you can notice that most of her friends in the show are ex convicts, redeemed criminals, so Rapunzel believes in giving people a chance, and SHE DID THAT WITH VARIAN IN SEASON 3. Once the king is not being able to rule the kingdom, Rapunzel gets in charge and she sees that Cass had changed her view, she wasn't dangerous anymore, something that didn't happened with Varian because when he was arrested he was still wishing to take revenge on the kingdom so he was STILL considered dangerous. Rapunzel believes in giving people a chance, she believes in redemption arcs, and Cassandra also helped to save the kingdom and the whole world in the end, just like Varian helped to save the kingdom at the start of S3. But alright, let's keep mocking Cassandra and forgetting completely how trauma change a person's mind and can make them not see things the way they are, like it's... trauma?? Search a bit about what is trauma on Google and how it works.
It's crazy for me to keep seeing people saying that stuff because it straight off mocks people with trauma. I'm not even joking. People actuall go through that in real life you know that? Trauma often makes us take stupid decisions and be blinded by a worldview that is not true. Bold of the Tangled The Series writers to assume that their audience could interpret subtext since most of them are teenagers, but with so many kids shows being praised by the way they handle adult topics, I guess the writers subestimated the TTS fandom's hability of missing the point
Watch this one right here, because you have probably watched the "why Varian worked where Cassandra failed" video and that thing is full of stupid bs
youtube
*Varian, a 14 year old child who's in an intense amount of grief who has been wronged by a whole kingdom, commits several war crimes*
The kingdom: SEND HIM TO PRISON FOR LIFE!
*Cassandra, a grown woman who's dragging out a beef that happened over 2 decades ago and actively tries to destroy the entire kingdom several times*
The kingdom: Well, she's the princesses best friend, so she's kind of valid, I guess.
#tangled the series#tts#tts cassandra#cassandra#tts varian#this pmo so bad#what kind of dystopical world we live in#people forget how trauma works#everyone wants adult topics to be handled in cartoons but once the story is a bit more complicated and needs the audience to interpret it..#...suddenly the characters are stupid dumb and their actions dont make sense#tts fandom try not to be biased challenge#the double standard is crazy#Youtube#“we want more complex characters” you guys couldn't even handle her (she is not complex at all)

headcanon that as sophie ages, she gets more and more off-put by how she still looks twenty at some age past 40. the only wrinkles she has are smile lines and a barely-there crease between her eyebrows that never leaves. no gray hairs. it doesn’t feel like there’s any physical evidence of how much stress aged her too fast.
(maybe she dyes more grays into her hair to feel better about her reflection, the more time passes by. maybe, on bad days, she contours wrinkles into her skin with makeup. maybe the bad days get more frequent as she ages outside the human lifespan. maybe.)
#i feel like fitz and dex are the only friends of hers that really get it#since fitz understands more surrounding human cultures than most elves thanks to his firsthand experience in the search#and dex grew up with his mom’s romcoms#which would probably show some human perspectives on aging#and his mom explaining some things that didn’t quite make sense to Smol Dex#but i’ve always imagined sophie turning up on fitz’s doorstep in the middle of the night#with tears running down her face and saying she didn’t know who else to talk to about almost-immortality feeling so so so wrong as she#gets older. not necessarily just because he knows more about humanity than most of her group#but also because like. there’s some part of her that says ‘if he can help you through learning to be an elf at 12 maybe he can help you at#42 too’. and they’re cognates. and they’ve gotten old enough to set aside teenage grievances with one another#and i like the idea of them sitting on a couch together by lamplight and trying to navigate the cultural and personal differences#in how the two of them and humanity and the lost cities view mortality#and not really reaching a concrete conclusion. but rather. a conclusion that keeps the two of them sane until they reach triple digits.#and then they have the conversation again. and come up with a plan to stay sane in their triple digits. and the same thing pops up in their#thousands. idk man the whole thing screams trust down to the bone and that’s what they should have when the war is over#is there anything more Cognate than talking through wildly different fears surrounding the same thing that make both parties#super vulnerable??? down to how your minds work in the face - or lack of - death?#maybe so but i can’t think of them off top of my head#kotlc#sophie foster#kotlc headcanons#keeper of the lost cities

sbabl is such a fun reading experience. like all chapters are incredible but i keep thinking about chapter 3 where quirrel is just. shit talking hollow in front of ghost and its so funny like dude thats their sibling please stop
#i know hes doing it bc hes projecting his own self doubts on them but its so funny LSKSKLFJKL cmon man not in front of their sibling#also. i truly get the hype now i rlly wish i was more of a sentient being in 2019 so i couldve enjoyed it in its prime#like this fic legit changed my view of myself. lemm gave me free therapy. this gay hollow knight fanfic stuff is no joke#anyways back to the funny thoughts#the fountain scene is horribly sad but also sort of really funny because#quirrel is like. the kid in that one ishowspeed clip in which theres a kid screaming “I HAVE CANCER AND IM SUICIDAL”#but hes not screaming anything its just that every word he says is the equivalent of that. to me#and ghost just has to hear that and do nothing. and quirrel doesnt even know he's basically saying “its ok that ur sibling is-#trapped in dream superhell and forgotten bc thats just how things are" to that poor thang. its like very sad and funny at the same time#also. i was so shocked when i realized it wasnt really a ship fic. i think that scene where quirrel is like#“is that why u keep me around? to cook me? r u going to make ur own recipe with my body? will i be the honour of being ur own work? ”#<- is gay enough i think it was already worth the / instead of the &#i would try to channel these thoughts into a drawing but lately i have had no time to draw anything ughhhhhh#anyways idk i just had a rlly fun time reading it its hard to explain stuff w words but i dont joke when i say it changed me

ppl sometimes say to me "u think you're always right" and i sit there confused because yes? i usually AM right. because i have researched the topic more than you, and i have thought through both arguments and counterarguments before speaking up. moreover, my anxiety and fear of being misunderstood simply doesn't let me speak anything out loud which i haven't thought 150% through. so technically yes, i am more right? i don't understand what's the problem? i'm not talking about my personal opinion though? i'm just stating the facts? and the facts tend to be something that's "right"? don't they?
#like please#just engage in a proper discussion w me if u want to share what u know and what u have researched#i also don't understand how i talk about history facts or political ideas and ppl are like 'these are just your beliefs'#and i have to explain how there actually exists a sort of objective reality#and that political views and moral values are not really equal to 'personal beliefs' that are the sort of 'oh i think pineapple on pizza#is the most delicious food'#how are these the same#ppl who don't like pineapple on pizza aren't oppressed#and it makes me so genuinely frustrated#i realize each person sees the world differently but that's why we have science and the sort – bc humanity is trying to reach some more#objective pov#that's why we have 'big words' that mean some specific thing and we define those words via dictionaries#while our explanations of 'objective reality' are still flawed (bc everything is mostly just plausible guesses) i still think it's better t#try and define it#and try and come to agreements on things of what certain things mean#idk even if the 'objective reality' can't exist isn't it still better to pretend to have one? bc if u only think how#'everyone has their own reality' and that's the answer/explanation u say to anything happening in society that u don't understand#or that u think is wrong#i feel like such skepticism makes ppl prone to not having hope in a better world#and i think that hope is soso important to have bc it's what drives the activism#just a big rant....i have many feelings ...#i don't understand how some ppl don't have such sense of justice like it's literally a separate feeling#; words generated by me#actually autistic
