"Okay guys, I'm really excited right now because we have the one and only CLOVER, all the way from the UK and making her debut American television appearance here at the VMAs!" an interviewer for Entertainment Tonight introduced me to the camera whilst other celebrities arrived and walked the pink carpet.

"Hi!" I greeted her politely and waved at the camera. I felt so excited to be here at the VMAs, my first time in America and it was on such a well known awards show, I couldn't believe it. I hoped my fans liked my bold type of outfit too, a beautiful black gown with a daring slit up the side where it rested against my thigh.

"Welcome to the US, CLOVER! We're so happy to have you here, how are you finding it?" the interviewer asked me, holding the mic out.

"It's big. America is so much bigger than I expected it to be, especially compared to back home," I said with wide eyes, wearing a shocked expression on face which made the woman opposite me laugh.

"That's right, you've come all the way over here from England, right? How excited are you to perform here?" she asked me.

"I'm incredibly nervous, if I'm honest haha. There's so much talent here so I just hope that people will enjoy what I bring too," I smile, wiping my hands down on my dress awkwardly. I really hoped the camera didn't somehow pick up the sight of my sweaty palms.

"Well I've seen some of your performances before and let me just say, I'm a big fan myself!" she confessed, which made me heart feel warm.

"Wow thank you so much!" I blushed, hands clasped together now. I really couldn't stop fidgeting with them.

"I mean, you've been nominated for best new artist! That must feel amazing right?" she smiled at me.

"It really does, to be nominated for an award, let alone perform here is just beyond my imagination. Like Ice Spice, Peso Pluma, Pink Pantheress my UK sister is nominated too! It's crazy!" I exclaim, hoping I'd meet my fellow UK artist too, not realising that later on I'd meet a different honorary British artist.

"Speaking of, is there anyone else you're excited to see here today?" the interviewer leaned towards me, like she was ready for any gossip.

"Wow, pretty much everyone!" I laughed, "but I'd have to say Demi for sure! I'm excited to see them perform I've loved their music for years! Also Maneskin and there's Stray Kids and TXT too! I'm so excited for Stray Kids oh my god..." I ramble, waving my hands in the air as I talk excitedly, unable to hide my big smile.

"Stray Kids certainly seem to be stealing everyone's hearts this year, I spoke to them earlier, and... wow," the interviewer laughed with me, and it felt like having a conversation with a friend at that point.

"I don't blame you haha," I giggled.

"Well, thank you so much for chatting with us, CLOVER, we'll see you out there later tonight, best of luck!" she smiled at me before turning to the camera and ending the interview. I waved bye to her and the camera and walked round the corner, heading backstage with my manager and taking a deep breath in.

It all felt so surreal, I was sure I caught a glance of Taylor Swift and waved and smiled at her, shocked to have gotten the same actions returned and squealed, unable to help myself as I jumped around and bumped into someone behind me.

"I'm so sorry!"

"Oh my god sorry!"

We both apologised at the same time. And when I turned around to see who it was I thought I was going to spontaneously combust right there and then.

It was Felix of Stray Kids.

"Felix?!"

"CLOVER?!"

What. The. He knew who I was?

"Oh, you know Stray Kids?" he asked me shocked, an adorable expression on his face as he helped me rebalance myself, I was wearing heels after all.

"I should be asking you the same question, I've been listening to you guys for years!" I gushed, probably embarrassing myself a bit but Felix didn't seem to react to that, seeming to get excited himself.

"You have? Wow... Stray Kids are such huge fans of your music, we really love your songs," Felix happily explained to me, still holding onto my hands as he waved them excitedly.

"No way... that's insane!" I couldn't put everything I was thinking into words.

"Tell me about it," he laughed, pulling his hands away to scratch the back of his neck.

"Felix!" the other members walked over, not noticing me at first, which was lucky otherwise they would have seen me looking at them like they were ghosts.

"We've been looking everywhere for you!" Bang Chan patted his shoulders, speaking in Korean and then turned to see me, a shocked expression painting his face.

"Sorry I didn't mean to be keeping Felix," I then spoke back in Korean, some of the members seeming to jump back in shock at hearing their native language.

"Woah, CLOVER?! Wait, you speak Korean?!" Han bounced on his feet, beaming at me.

"Yeah my best friend is Korean so I ended up learning it, definitely helped when watching you guys. This is just like a dream, I can't tell you how amazing it is to meet you guys!" I felt myself getting almost hyper by seeing them in front of me.

"We could say the same to you! We're all big fans of you!" Changbin stepped up, whilst some of the other members stood back nervously.

"If I'm being honest I didn't believe Felix when he told me that," I shook my head in disbelief.

"Well believe it now," Seungmin laughed, seeming to feel more comfortable now.

"I'm so hyped to see you guys perform tonight! How are you feeling?" I asked them, feeling more confident now as the ice had been broken.

"I think we're nervous but we're going to do our best out there," Lee Know shyly admitted.

"We could do with some words of encouragement, could you say Stray Kids hwaiting?" Han asked cheekily.

"Han we've just met her, don't scare her away," Hyunjin did his iconic laugh.

"It's fine, it's fine haha. Stray Kids hwaiting!!!" I cheered for them and they all clapped for me after, making me blush and hide my face.

"Your Korean is really good," Jeongin commented.

"Thank you, well, like I said, it's all thanks to my friend. She's so cute, she'd cheer me on before every gig I used to do like, CLOVER hwaiting!!" I share, hoping they wouldn't find it weird how I'm rambling on.

"Hahaha, that's cute, is she a stay too?" Bang Chan asked hopefully.

"Oh, big time! She's the reason I got to know your music and watch your variety stuff too," I nod back at him. They all let out sounds of amazement.

"You watch our other stuff?" Changbin asked shocked.

"Yeah! I'm a big fan of SKZ Code!" I admit sheepishly.

"Wow that's a good friend you got there," Seungmin nods, smirking.

"She's the best, she's supported me through my music the whole time," I grin, thinking about my best friend. I wish she could have come to America with me but she was too busy.

"Are you planning on releasing any new music soon?" Felix asks me.

"Well, I'll let you in on a secret, I'm working on some right now!" I fake whisper to them, but it didn't really matter. I was speaking to them in Korean at this point so it wasn't very likely anyone backstage would expose the fact.

"You are? Wow I'm looking forward to it already, you have such a unique sound," Han praises my music, making me a hold a hand over my heart.

"Wow that honestly means a lot coming from you guys. You have such a unique sound too and it inspired me to go with the direction I really wanted to in my music," I compliment them, seeing their eyes light up.

"Thank you! Have you ever thought of collabing with another artist?" Changbin asks, seeming to be hinting at something as Minho pats his shoulder warningly.

"Well, now that you've brought it up, I've always wanted to make some songs with you guys," I confess shyly, blushing even more when they all ask 'really'?!

"That would be amazing, I think we could create something great together," Bang Chan nods, a more professional tone as he thinks about their music.

"Perfect! Well I have to go now, but I could get our managers to exchange numbers?" I say, realising I should be getting ready to find my seat.

"We'd love that!" Felix claps his hands together happily.

"Great! Well it was lovely to meet you guys!" I wave as I start to walk away, before I turn snack around quickly and call over to them, "oh, by the way Han, thanks for representing us British Stays, your accent is the best," I daringly tease, giggling to myself as I walk away.

I felt like I was on cloud nine. I met my favourite people in the world... and we were going to try and collab together. It really doesn't get better than this.

Except it does.

For my performance I had changed into a beautiful green dress to match the nature filled scene behind me, performing one of my songs called 'Salvia'. It was a reassuring song to comfort a partner, before the scene behind me started showing dying flowers as I transitioned into a song called 'Rotten to the Core', the pure opposite of the first song. As I ended the performance I saw Stray Kids up and applauding for me, and I smiled and nodded in their direction.

Then I saw them perform too. And the remix they did blew my mind. I was so happy they were getting recognition from other artists too, who may not have seen them before. And I returned my admiration for their performance as I gave a standing ovation of my own, seeing them look my way too.

It all felt like a dream. The future was really looking up, especially with a collaboration with my favourite people in the midst of it all.

book review: Keedie by Elle McNicoll

Set five years before Elle McNicoll's debut A Kind of Spark, this book follows Keedie in her mission to confront the bullies in her school. The book addresses topics such as teenage popularity, standing up for what is right, and complicated relationships between siblings.

Before this book I had already read A Kind of Spark and watched its TV show adaptation, and Keedie was my favourite character of both. So I was very excited about this book from the second I first heard about it. And it didn't disappoint! This book gave me almost everything I could have wished for.

I loved getting to meet Keedie's friends, Bonnie and Angel, who are also autistic, but have different support needs to Keedie. I would have liked to have seen more of them!

Keedie's relationships with her sisters, Nina and Addie, change throughout this book. I thought their dynamics as siblings were written very well. Nina's role in the story was particularly interesting, painting a very realistic picture of what it might be like to be fourteen years old and trying to fit in.

From this point on, I will be discussing spoilers for Keedie. If you don't want to see those, stop reading here!

Firstly, I loved this scene with Keedie and Mr Allison in the library. Keedie tells Mr Allison how she didn't like the books he'd recommended to her, which were all about the main characters having an autistic sibling, rather than autistic people getting to be the heroes themselves.

"Well, I'll be on the hunt for better. The school wants more representation in the library." "Oh, there's some good stuff," I tell him. "Sherlock Holmes. Vincent Van Gogh. Mr Darcy. Jo and Beth March. Mr Dick from David Copperfield." His eyes dance with surprise. "I'm impressed. And they're all autistic?" "Sure," I say, heading for the exit. "They just don't have the paperwork."

I loved this part because it referenced some characters that I also think are autistic. Especially Beth March and Mr Darcy. I've always found them so relatable and thought they would be autistic if they were real and living in a time when they were able to express themselves and get a diagnosis. Maybe I could make another post about book characters I think are autistic. Would you find that interesting?

It crept up on us, this loss of how things used to be. People are now swept up in what other people think of them. From the choking taste of hairspray in the bathrooms to the group chats, something has shifted.

I really liked this description of the change that happens in school as you enter the teenage years. It's such a shame that it happens. Imagine how much nicer the world could be if we were all free to be ourselves, without worrying what others would think.

In the scene where Keedie speaks up for April when she is hit by the snooker ball, I liked how her differences that might be seen as a bad thing by some were useful in doing something good.

Other people have stops in their heads, like the barriers that come down to block a car from driving across train tracks. Other people keep certain words and behaviours inside, the barriers come down and they don't act. They wait. I don't have those barriers. Never have.

When Keedie confronts her sister after Nina's friends bullied Bonnie at the Founders' Day celebration, Nina says this:

"I did nothing!" Nina shouts, suddenly animated. "As usual, I did nothing wrong!"

Which I think is such an important point about how compliance and being a bystander to bullying is actually just as bad as doing the bullying itself.

"Exactly," I say coarsely. "You did nothing."

At the same time, I do feel for Nina, because I remember what it was like to be in her situation. You feel as if you have to go along with the bullies, because if you don't, they will turn on you too. And I'm glad she saw the error of her ways and apologised to Keedie at the end.

At the birthday party, this happens once again:

I silently challenge Nina with a glare. She can make all this go away. She can check her friends. She can take them somewhere else. She can stand up to them, stand up for us, for once. She can make a difference and choose not to be a bystander to her friends and their bullying tactics. But she says nothing.

I thought it was really accurate how in this scene, the type of bullying that Nina's friends use is one that might not seem like bullying to an outsider. Patronising tones, saying horrible things whilst smiling. It becomes worse later, but it is still the type of bullying that is difficult to report. Targets of bullying like this might not tell anyone because of how difficult it is to explain, or they might question whether to report at all, whether the problem is even real or if they're just overexaggerating it. I know this because it happened to me.

"Want to know the worst thing about being autistic? It's not the autism." I throw the napkin down and push back my chair. "It's people like you."

I really liked this ongoing metaphor of the North Star, as Keedie's reason to keep fighting.

If I'm a voyager of sorts, Bonnie is my North Star. I keep one eye on her at all times, no matter the state of the current, and I keep sailing towards it. She's my only North Star and that will never change.

When Keedie tries to give Angel's dad money so that Addie can go to his school, she doesn't have enough. But Angel's dad tells her:

"You be the person you needed at her age. Be her rock. Be the tree that doesn't move in the storm. You can do that, I know you can, you already are!"

I think this really influences Keedie to become the person we know in A Kind of Spark. She realises that she can't change her past, but she can change Addie's future, to make Addie's experience of growing up better than her own.

It's time to stop hunting sea monsters and start rescuing sharks. To keep gazing up at that North Star. Polaris never was just one star in the sky: it looks like a single bright light but it's made up of multiple stars.

minjae was born on march 17th of 2000, in daegu, south korea !! his parents are both wealthy, successful & well known business people, his father a ceo, mother an award winning singer & actress. he's also the youngest of 8 siblings; a professional baby brother atp.

home life was, as you'd expect with that many kids running around, very chaotic. all of them had very different personalities and interests, it always kept their parents & nannies on their toes.

despite being generally loving parents, they had their flaws. the family image became a focal point to them, knowing that they were setting up a path of followed success for their children. it seemed like everything fell right into their laps, constantly showered in material items & the works, a seemingly perfect family. being so young, a lot of the reality of it went unseen by minjae, but there was a reason his eldest siblings never returned home after moving out.

in contrast with the amount of pressure they put on the eldest, they definitely didn't give minjae the amount of love & attention that he deserved. he was always overshadowed by his older siblings, often forgot about or shoved to the side; basically the black sheep though he didn't know it.

he did grow very attached to the nannies, & it was through them that he felt seen. he still talks to them to this day :(

it wasn't until he was much older that he recognized it as neglect. this poor baby boy coming home from school to show his parents a project that he aced only for them to brush it off, or to look to the sidelines during a soccer game to see that they weren't there ... shit hurted.

nonetheless he continued to do his best, telling himself that they were just very busy people — which they were ! but they Could Have done it better

though he had a love for music, being an idol wasn't the path minjae expected to take. unlike his siblings who all had set paths & aspirations, there was no goal in mind for him. so it took him by surprise when he was contacted one day out of the blue by an infinite employee attempting to recruit him.

unknown to minjae, he became a pretty big topic among agencies, with the fame of his parents, two of his older siblings in the industry (different companies) & his visual, it brought on somewhat of a spotlight.

not having anything else in mind for his future (and finally being acknowleged) he couldn't turn down the opportunity, becoming a trainee & eventually debuting with indigo as their lead rapper & youngest member at 16.

his parents became more present in his life during this time, perhaps realizing their neglect, but he kind of kept them at arm's length.

personality !

simply the sweetest boy. probably sunshine in human form. he wants everyone around him to be happy & works hard to achieve that, especially with his friends & group

when first meeting him, minjae comes off as shy but very polite. those who know him well get to see the authentic, playful side of him — a typical little brother.

Wolfgang Van Halen, the ex-bassist of the band Van Halen and son of the late guitarist Eddie Van Halen, has offered an update on the progress of the recording sessions for the second Mammoth WVH album. The effort will be the follow-up to "Mammoth WVH", which arrived in June 2021, some five years after the now-31-year-old musician began piecing together ideas for his solo career.

Speaking to Metal Talk, Wolfgang said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I'm about halfway through [the recording process]. I got a bunch of stuff recorded before we started on this tour. And then once I go home, I'll have a little holiday break, but then in January I'm gonna finish it. So it'll be ready to be released some time next year."

This past March, Wolfgang said during an appearance on "Whiplash", the KLOS radio show hosted by Full Metal Jackie, that he was hoping to begin working on the follow-up to "Mammoth WVH" at some point in the not-too-distant future. "Basically, I certainly don't wanna take as long as it did," he explained. "I think throughout that first process, I was really just figuring out what it was and who I was as my own artist, finding my own sound and discovering who I was as a lead singer, as a songwriter. But when it comes to the next album, now that I've figured out what this is and who I am, within the context of it, I'm really excited to figure out how to condense that process to as an efficient of time as possible, so I can get an album done in a third of the time while it being twice as good. It's always a personal challenge."

In February, Wolfgang told SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk" that he had already gathered plenty of material for Mammoth WVH's sophomore effort. "I'm very ready to get back in the studio," he said. "We have some leftover tracks from the first album that I'd like to take another look at — maybe add stuff or maybe redo entirely — and then a bunch of new ideas to get into."

Mammoth WVH's debut album was released via Explorer1 Music Group/EX1 Records.

Featuring Wolfgang on vocals and all instruments, "Mammoth WVH" was met with positive reviews and topped Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums and Top Rock Albums charts.

Mammoth WVH's first single, "Distance", reached No. 1 on the MediaBase and BDS Active Rock Radio charts. A tribute to Wolfgang's father, the song was not originally intended to be on Mammoth WVH's debut album, but due to the overwhelming response to its accompanying video, which has been viewed over six million times on YouTube, it was added as a bonus track. All of Wolfgang's proceeds from "Distance" are being donated to Mr. Holland's Opus.

"Distance" is an open letter to Wolfgang's father, declaring "no matter what the distance is, I will be with you." The video for the song is created from a collection of family home movies through the years and offers an inside look in to one of music's most notable personalities. Chronicling the family through the years, the video ends with a touching voicemail left from Eddie to his son.

Asked why he decided to play all the instruments on Mammoth WVH's first LP, Wolfgang said in a 2021 interview: "I just figured since I could play everything, I wanted to see if I could do it. [Laughs] Basically, I just wanted to see. And then, since I could — at least I think I could; I guess it's up to everybody else to decide — I had such a fun time in the studio that I'm looking forward to getting back in there and doing it [again]."

In November 2020, Wolfgang confirmed that he asked his father for permission to use the Mammoth WVH band name for his solo project. Mammoth WVH is a nod to family history — Eddie and Alex Van Halen's band was called MAMMOTH when singer David Lee Roth first joined it in 1974.

Mammoth WVH's touring lineup features Wolfgang on guitar and lead vocals, Frank Sidoris (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators) on guitar, Jon Jourdan on guitar and vocals, Garrett Whitlock (Tremonti) on drums, and Ronnie Ficarro on bass.

Mammoth WVH made its television debut in February 2021, performing "Distance" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and running through an exclusive acoustic arrangement on "Today".

On November 11, Mammoth WVH released a digital deluxe edition of the debut album via EX1 Records. The new digital deluxe features the bonus track from the Japanese version of the album, "Talk & Walk", as well as two previously unreleased tracks, "As Long As You're Not You" and "Goodbye".

really slowly actually which is odd for me. I listened to their music from debut (I trusted bighit music to be good and I wasn't incorrect) and learnt the members just from being exposed to them by my sis and online. I often get into a group via reality shows and seeing their loud/entertaining sides which is harder to see with groups with less members - but my sister got me to watch some of their to dos and that was what I was looking for to get me to stan them properly ! I binged it all and was fully a moa for blour 💓

if i could spend a day with taehyung, i'd want to have a spa day, whether at home or at an actual spa, where we both can relax! if we do a spa day at home, i'd love to pamper him and brush/play with his hair. maybe do a manicure for him if he wants and some face masks. we'd def watch some dramas/movies while waiting for takeout to arrive. i'm an introvert that loves spending time at home rather than outside tbh. i think taehyung would enjoy doing something like this with me too! i can def picture him putting on his favorite songs while dancing around with a facemask on and hair tied back lol

as for other dynamics in the group, i am very fond of yoonmin! i've loved their dynamic since day 1. (they were actually the first dynamic i grew to love a week into bts' debut!!) their little grandma/grandpa fights make me laugh/look at them fondly. they overall remind me of an old couple that bickers just to bicker lol not to mention, yoongi has stated multiple times how jimin's voice is his favorite! (yet we STILL DON'T HAVE THE MINIMINI SUBUNIT?!?! we are deprived!!!) the way jimin teases yoongi sometimes makes me giggle way too much. i think it's super cute, i adore them so much!

minimoni. they are SUPER CUTE!!!! their moments make my insides all warm sdjjskj jihope! i feel like this is kind of self-explanatory. jimin followed hobi to lollapalooza, and they were in paris tgt recently! they're extremely supportive of each other in general. i love them :( namjin bc they've been married for 2838209 years. vminkook, my beloved maknaes 🫶 they're all attached to the hip and love/care for one another deeply. they're MY BABIES FR!!!!!

Summary: the cast for the Eternals have been acting strange since the beginning of the premiere, and you realize they all know something you don't

"Babe, could you help me tie the back of my dress?" You hollered as you stand in front of the body mirror.

Barry, your boyfriend of almost 6 years, comes out from the bathroom and admires you at the door frame.

"You look cute when you're flustered," he said, teasing you.

You scoff as he walks up behind your back, already wrapping the ties to cinch your waist.

Once he finishes, he moves your hair on the side and kisses the back of your neck, making you blush.

"You're breathtaking." He whispers.

You smile as you turn around, close to his chest.

"That's what I was going for." You smirked, as you walk towards the bed where your heels were at.

You and Barry are in a hotel suite at the moment to prepare for the Eternal's premiere. You were excited as this was your first acting debut. In the credit scene, you're portrayed as Heater Delight, a love interest to Eros.

You found it hilarious as you had a great friendship with Harry. You formally met him on the set of Dunkirk where Barry introduced you two to each other. Harry loved you guys and invited you to a few of his live shows over the years. Paparazzi would even catch you, Harry, and Barry drinks at some pubs or out for dinner.

You look out the window, seeing how dark the sky was as the city lights illuminated.

Barry looks down on his phone and sees that Harry was face timing him.

"Barry! Wanted to call to wish you good luck tonight." Harry shouted as he was prepping before a live show for his tour.

"You better mean about the premiere man, and not, you know." Barry warned as he was referring to your presence.

"Is that who I think it is?" You yell out loud, walking as fast as you can in your heels to see who's talking to your boyfriend.

"Hey, H! Wish you were here!" you said through the phone.

"Same here, the tour has been a bit tiring but I hope that you'll have more of a blast."

"Why is that?" you ask, knitting your eyebrow.

Barry took the phone away from your hand and gave a stern gaze at the singer.

"It's your first red carpet where you're debuting of course!" Harry laughs nervously.

"We need to leave soon. I'll catch up later." Barry said.

Harry returns a guilty look and waves goodbye as Barry hung up.

"Rude." You say out loud.

Barry doesn't say anything but kisses the top of your head quickly.

"The driver should be pulling up soon, we should head down." He says, under his breath.

It's not like your boyfriend to brush Harry off like that, the boys would take hours of catching up! You roll your eyes as you follow your boyfriend in tow, probably thinking how he might be a bit nervous as this was his official Marvel film.

With no time wasted, you two arrived at the premiere. You all were shocked at how many fans showed up, but excited nonetheless. Barry never left by your side when you were both taken on the red carpet. Then, you get to see the rest of the cast mates as they gathered in the middle for group shots.

Selma brightens up as she sees you as you reunite on the carpet.

"My dear, you look radiant as ever." she says, beaming at you.

You turned red as Selma complimented you. She was your favorite actress growing up and Barry was dying to introduce you to her. She has given you so much advice about life off-screen. All of the cast members teased how she's your mom and the joke just stuck. In prior interviews, she would say how you and Barry were a handsome couple and how she feels like a mother to you.

"Thank you! You too. I'm so excited for tonight. But, I wonder why Barry has been so nervous." You said as Barry was out of earshot.

"He should be fine. If I was in his shoes, I'd be nervous too." she jokingly says.

You're about to ask why but one of the event planners alerted you to move along for more pictures and interviews.

Barry reunites with you as he had his hand on the spot of your back. These functions often make Barry agitated due to all of the chaos, but he calms down when you're near him.

After doing some interviews with Barry and you teasing the interviewers that you have been on set a lot, it was finally time for everyone to watch the film. Barry hasn't left your side one bit, like a cat not wanting its owner to go away.

You didn't mind one bit as you both felt like that for each other when he'd travel for work. But something has been bugging you the whole night and you're wanting to know why.

Once the credits roll and the whole cast comes out, the whole crowd is roaring loudly. You applaud all your friends as you got teary eyed for their amazing work, and proud to share the screen even if it was a few seconds.

Everyone parts ways and you say your goodbyes to the cast. Barry took you by the hand to your guys' limo and drove back to your hotel. You walk in the lobby, wanting nothing than to take off your heels and get under a steamy shower with your lover.

Once you two enter the elevator, Barry presses the highest floor level.

"Bar, I know you're tired but even I know that's not where our room is at." You jokingly said.

"Hush love, I just want to end the night with the most beautiful girl." He purrs.

You never get over how romantic he is so you go with the flow.

Seconds later, he takes you to the roof of the hotel where it was nicely decorated. Dim lights surround the area, making the atmosphere feel so dreamy.

You go closer to the rail, leaning over to see the view better. Barry places himself in the crook of your neck, feeling at ease.

"It's so beautiful out here." You said out loud.

"Not as beautiful as you." Barry whispered in your ear.

You roll your eyes at his words, but feel your cheeks heating up from his sweet compliment.

"I'm glad we get this time alone. Nothing can top this moment." you murmured, taking in the peace.

"I'd like to challenge that." Barry said, letting go of your waist.

You turn around, about to ask why until you gasped out loud.

He was bent on one knee, holding a small box.

He's starting to tear up, as he's nervous to say his speech that he's preparing for quite some time.

"Love, I-" he chokes, unable to continue. You quickly kneel in front of him and cradle his face.

"Hey, hey, baby. It's okay. Breathe." you said, coaching him to follow your breathing. He mirrors your actions and calm goes over him. He coughs lightly and snickers a bit, seeing how his little freak out was silly. You didn't judge him one bit, and that gave him more of a reason to love you till the day he died.

"Even after six years together, you still make me nervous. That just proves how much I adore you. Even when we wake up in the morning, I thank my stars for giving me such an amazing woman in my life. I want to start our next chapter together. I want to be called your husband and be the father of our future children. Do you want that future with me?"

You nod your head and pepper Barry with kisses.

"Yes Bar, I do." You said, tearing up like him. He slips on the ring and kisses you passionately. You both let go and stand up, smiling like idiots.

"Is this why everyone has been so weird around us?" You ask him.

Barry chuckles as he squints his eyes. "I was at an interview backstage when I called Harry to tell him I was going to propose to you after the premiere. Selma accidentally walked in and found out. Told most of the others and I told them to not utter a word about it."

You throw your head back, laughing.

"Well I'm glad they kept the secret for so long." you joked, hugging Barry closer to you.

He smiles contently as he connects his forehead with yours.

"So am I."

"(Y/N)!" Sungchan practically bounded toward you and wrapped his arms around you, easily lifting you up onto your toes as he greeted you. This not being the first time he's done this, you weren't too surprised when he swept you off your feet, but you could say that you did genuinely miss talking with him. Way back before you debuted you and Sungchan spoke fairly often. It wasn't much as compared to you and Yeseul or Jeno, but it was still enough to have formed that friendship. "Wow! It's been forever! I feel like I never see you anymore," the hint of disappointment in his voice was enough to tug a sympathetic look from you for a moment.

"Sung, we live together," you laughed and he put you down.

"Gee, no hi to us?" Yangyang teases him and Sungchan grew bashful, waving hello to both him and Mark.

"But, seriously, yeah! How've you been? We need to get caught up once I'm free," you nudged his shoulder lightly and he nods, his eyes beaming with excitement.

"I've been good, you know, just MCing and what not, you guys ready to film? You're filming your stages early for this one, huh?" Sungchan leads you into the Inkigayo building.

"Yeah, Mark's working with Dream too right now for their comeback, so to distribute the load SM decided on this bizarre schedule," you explained as you followed Sungchan to the dressing rooms.

"I haven't known rest since two years ago," Mark yawns.

"Not to mention you dropped your solo too! It's so good, hyung!" Sungchan praises him. "You really are a great role model," he hums and he holds the door open for you all. "I'll see you all at the interview section! Get some sleep before then, hyung," Sungchan tells Mark. "Bye, Mouse!" Sungchan rubs your hair and walks off. The nickname was enough to send you into a small fit of laughter, thinking back to when you both were in one of the practice rooms and, believe it or not, a mouse had literally landed in your lap and you nearly passed out from shock had it not been for Sungchan's quick thinking to pick it up and sprint to the outdoors. Not your best moment and so far the highest note you had ever hit. Since then, you and Sungchan ended up talking more, turns out a mouse is a great ice breaker.

"Mouse?" Yangyang asks.

"Ah, just an inside joke from trainee days," you waved him off and, as soon as you stepped into the dressing room, you were briskly whisked away by Jia and her other assistant Hawon into another room.

Meanwhile, Yangyang and Mark were quick to be seated and the team worked like clockwork.

"I'm just going to do a quick prep, if that's alright," Kyungjae sits in front of Yangyang, dragging the makeup cart closer.

"Yeah, all good," Yangyang shrugged while waiting for Mina to finish up with Mark. "Kyungjae, right? New guy?"

"That's me," Kyungjae shakes the primer base in his hand.

"How're you feeling? I hope the stylists aren't pushing you around too much," Yangyang tries to keep up small talk with him.

"I'm alright, it's a lot more fast paced than I expected, but nothing I can't handle," he responds.

"Well, if you have any questions, let me know," Yangyang's left eye closes as Kyungjae starts applying the primer. He hums in response to this.

"I do have one, actually."

"Shoot."

"You and (Y/N) are close, right?" He asks. Yangyang's expression drops for a moment, not knowing what to make of that question.

"Yeah, she's my best friend, why?"

"Nothing more?"

"No. Why?"

"I thought you were closer, just looking at the way you both act around each other gives off that vibe."

"What do you mean by that?" Yangyang leans back further in his chair, as if trying to move away from Kyungjae.

"It's just an observation, nothing more," he leans back in response, placing the primer down. "It was just a curious question, I didn't mean to imply anything by it, if that's what you're thinking."

"(Y/N) and I are just friends. Nothing more," Yangyang asserts.

"I get it, man, I get it," Kyungjae threw his hands up. Before Yangyang could continue, Jia popped her head into the room.

"Ah! Kyungjae! Do me a favor and grab the outfit rack in the closet, wheel it over to the next room over from this one," she instructs, pushing another in. "They always mix up these racks, I swear," she mutters. Without another word, Kyungjae exits and Yangyang's eyes follow him out, a frown settled on his face.

"Yangyang, wrinkles," Mina finally moves over to him and he apologizes quietly, setting his face to a more neutral one. As Mina prepares her brushes, Yangyang looks over to Mark, who shared the same concerned expression.

"You take care of your hair so well," Hawon complimented you, her hands moving easily after having been in charge of it for so long. "I'm jealous, you'll have to send me your conditioner," she chuckles.

"I'll text it to you after the stage is done," you fixed the tint on your lips.

"And all done! Beautiful as usual, but you don't need Jia and I's help for that," she smiles.

"Thanks," your hands delicately played with the bottom of your hair.

"I've gotta run, I'm supposed to help out Pentagon too," she places her tools in her pocket. "Jia should be back with your stage outfit soon!"

"No worries, I'll see you later!" You waved goodbye to her as she left. Not only a few moments later, the door opened and a clothing rack is pushed inside.

"Delivery for a Miss Jung?" Kyungjae poked his head out from behind the rack and you waved hello.

"There it is, I was wondering why I was holding a jacket that was two sizes too big earlier," you laughed and hopped off the stylist's chair. You went through the outfits on the rack. "Hm... are you sure these are mine?" You tugged at the skirts on them.

"It was the only rack in the closet, so unless it went to Pentagon's room, I wouldn't know," Kyungjae frowns. "I can go check again, if you want?" He asks.

"Uh..." you pulled out one of the outfits. "I'm sure it will be... you know what? If you can find a longer pair of shorts that would go with this one, then that would be fine," you nodded.

"For sure, I've got you," he places his hands in his apron pockets. "But, uh, if you don't mind my input," eh shuffles through the outfits and hands one to you. "Maybe this one, of the others, would be easiest to dance in once I find you a better pair of shorts," he says. He wasn't wrong, although it was more form fitting than the one you currently had, at least it was longer than your afore-chosen crop top.

"Thank you so much, I really appreciate it," you took it from his hands.

"I'll be back with those shorts," he nods and disappears into the hallway.

"Ten minutes until we roll cameras!" You heard the PD shout outside and you chewed the inside of your cheek.

Well, you didn't want to be the one to make the group late, you'd track down Kyungjae right before recording started because you could tell from just trying to slip the skirt on that whoever chose this didn't have your comfort in mind.

Regardless, you made your way to the waiting room, constantly adjusting the outfit around you and eventually giving up as you walked in. Mark was asleep on the couch, arm draped over his eyes, and Yangyang was playing whatever game on his phone when he noticed you walk in.

"Hey, (Y/N), we need to- Dude… can you even walk normally in that?” Yangyang’s brows scrunched together and you pulled down the pleated skirt.

“No,” you groaned. “I don’t know what the stylists were thinking, putting me in this getup… I can’t even raise my arms over my head or this shirt will just rise up too much,” you gave up on fixing your skirt and just crossed your arms over your midriff. “Kyungjae said he’d get me more comfortable shorts, at least, but I haven’t heard back from him. I’m afraid Jia got mad or something,” you frowned. "This has to be one of the worst stage outfits I've had since debut... is this even my size?" You turned around to check the tag. Yup, apparently it was.

“Kyungjae, huh?" Yangyang hums. "Well, until then,” Yangyang grabbed his hoodie from the couch next to him. “If you want to, you can tie this around your waist.”

“Thanks, yeah, at least I’ll be able to move around more without worrying some weirdo’s going to stare,” you took the pink hoodie. “I get the whole college kid vibe we’re going for but this is a bit much for a song about going through a breakup…”

“Weird how those two lined up,” Mark says, arm still over his eyes.

“Don’t remind me, Lee,” you nudged his head softly and he sighed. "Geez, at this rate I might just ask them to get me an oversized jacket or something, I can make this work... somehow," you tugged on your shirt again. The door opened behind you and Jia immediately recoiled.

"Whoa, what the hell are you wearing?" She asks.

"Huh? I was going to ask you!" She walked around you and looked at the outfit.

"Nope, this definitely isn't what I picked out for you." As if on cue, the door opened again and Kyungjae walked in.

"(Y/N)! Sorry, I know it's not much, but I tried to fit the theme and put this together for you," he says. He immediately made eye contact with Jia and his face went white.

"Kyungjae? Care to explain?" She asks.

"I, uh, I just took the only cart in the closet, ma'am, you can go check it right now, if you don't believe me," he says.

"Yeah, I know, I saw the rack in (Y/N)'s dressing room. It might belong to another group then and they accidentally took our rack," she mumbles. She takes the outfit in Kyungjae's hands. "Not bad, rookie. Head over to Mina, I'll help (Y/N) with this one," she says.

"Yes, ma'am!" Kyungjae was off again.

"What a nice guy, I just asked for shorts and he got me a whole outfit instead," you held the pair of hightop converse. "Be right back, don't miss me too much, boys," you waved at the both of them and ran back to your dressing room. Once the door closed, Mark sat up again.

"So we definitely agree that we don't like this Kyungjae guy, right?" He asks.

"Yup."

"I don't usually like making assumptions, but I dunno, something about him is just... weird," Mark crossed his arms. "It's like an intuition thing. You know how when we're doing fansigns you kinda just get this feeling from one of the fans? It's like that, I dunno," Mark shakes his head.

"No, I agree... but I don't know why I agree, I just do. We need an expert opinion," Yangyang tapped his finger against his knee and he and Mark looked at each other.

"I'll call Saeron."

"That's exactly what I was about to say."

They say nothing gets past her sleuthing instinct, if there was something up with this guy, she'll know right off the bat. Allegedly, according to rumor, at least. Whether it came from her leader position or from some event before, her honesty detector is not one to be trifiled with, and some of the neos learned that one the hard way.

"Here's the man of the hour now!" Lennox exclaimed as Mason and Kinsley walked over to the tables where all of their friends were sitting together. Today was the release of Mason's long-anticipated mixtape since starting his own label, and he decided to throw a huge party at the company in order to celebrate.

"Hi guys," Mason smiled as they all exchanged greetings and hugs. "Enjoying the party?"

"It's amazing for a one man company," Berkeley laughed.

"Actually, he's not one man anymore," Kinsley smiled as she cuddled up to her husband.

"What?" Kaiden asked.

"I just signed my first before the party," Mason revealed and everyone cheered in excitement.

"That's amazing Mase," Spencer grinned. "Tell us about them!"

"It's a girl group, 6 members, and I think they have amazing potential," Mason told them. "Kins has already started on their debut song."

"You don't waste any time Kins," Noah chuckled.

"Wait until you hear them, you'll understand why I was so eager," Kinsley shrugged. Just then, "Industry Baby" by Lil Nas X came on and Ava gasped dramatically.

"I love this song!" She squealed, turning to look at Kaiden. "Let's go dance!"

"Fine," Kaiden relented, letting Ava grab his hand and drag him out onto the dance floor. The rest of the couples followed behind them, spreading out among the rest of the people on the dance floor as they began to dance along to the song.

"You better watch that thing baby," Lennox smirked as Spencer shook her ass on him.

"Or you could watch it for me," she simpered, giggling when Lennox wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against his body.

"Loosen up Berk," Noah teased as he placed his hands on her waist. pulling her closer. "Show off those moves you never wanna use."

"Fuck off," she laughed, dancing around with him.

As the party continued on, everyone at the party literally dance the night away.

"You know, I'm so proud you Myungie," Kinsley said as they slow-danced together. "You put so much work into your mixtape and this company and it's all paying off."

"Well, I would've never taken the plunge to start the company if it weren't for you," he told her. "Just like everything that's good in my life, I owe it all to you. I love you so much Princess."

"I love you more," she grinned, moaning softly when he leaned down and kissed her firmly.

"Oh yeah. I might be a little hungover but I'll be there," Kinsley joked.

"That'll make two of us then," Ava giggled.

"Goodnight guys, and congratulations again man," Kaiden said to Mason, giving him a quick hug before he led Ava out of the company.

"Have you seen Len and Spence?" Kinsley asked as she looked at Mason and he shook his head before hearing something faint.

Sometimes, Joshua's gym partner would show up too, earning thunderous glances and musters of “Cheater” from Jeonghan under his breath. Seokmin looked confused, but loved chatting with anyone and was a real sunshine to have on gloomy days.

Wonwoo had never replied to Mingyu's text. No matter how many times Mingyu would check his phone, the message still read Delivered with no follow-up. Mingyu was disappointed, to say the least, and he decided against telling his friends about replying to Wonwoo in the first place. He didn't need scolding, I told you so's or pity from them anymore.

Since the debut of the semester, a month ago, Mingyu had seen Wonwoo a total of two times at the dorm : on his first day, and last week when he inadvertently needed to go to the bathroom after coming home whilst Wonwoo was getting out of the shower. Mingyu had never closed a door so fast, and he had never heard Wonwoo squeal so high either.

Now that he thought about it, maybe that was why Wonwoo was avoiding him. He would avoid himself, too.

“You know what would be nice?” Soonyoung declared to the whole table, smiling ever so brightly.

They all waited for a follow-up, but it was Soonyoung talking, and this man lived for the attention.

“What would be nice?” Seokmin asked, making Soonyoung smile even wider.

“If we all gathered our friends for a game night!” he exclaimed his idea, getting cheers from Chan and Seokmin.

“Yeah, we haven't met your friends yet, Minnie,” Joshua told Seokmin.

The man nodded his head happily as Jeonghan scoffed at the nickname.

“That would be awesome! My friends are a bunch of introverts, I'm sure they'd love a gaming night!”

The group agreed on the plan, already talking about the games they'd like to play. Minghao stood up from his chair.

“I have a better idea,” he announced.

“If it's not murder, I'm in,” Jun nodded his head, gulping on his pudding.

“My parents own a lake house not far from here. We could spend the weekend there,” Minghao offered.

“Hell yeah,” Soonyoung threw his fist in the air. “Hao, you really do have the best ideas ever. Except that dance move in the choreography we did last week-”

“And murder,” Jun added, getting a worried glance from Seokmin.

“Okay, everyone except Soonyoung can come,” Minghao simply stated, earning woops from everyone at the table.

Soonyoung shrugged.

“I'll get in, whether you like it or not,” he smiled innocently.

“I'll text my friends, hopefully they can all come, too!” Seokmin said excitedly, already grabbing his phone.

“It's gonna be like a mega sleepover, just like in the old days!” Chan cheered.

“Yeah... Just like the old days,” Mingyu nodded, smiling at his friends' excitation.

As the weekend came closer, the friend group was buzzing. Seokmin's friend group were all able to come, and everyone was getting ready, talking about the games and consoles they would bring, who was in charge of snacks and whatnot.

Saturday morning came, and Mingyu got in his car with Joshua, Chan and Jeonghan, all excitedly driving to the lake house. The unoccupied backseat and the truck was filled to the brim with their luggage.

“We're only leaving for two days,” Chan whined, crushed between Joshua, and Mingyu's bags. “Why the fuck did you bring so much stuff?”

“What if I'm cold?” Mingyu asked. “Or what if I want the wear a specific shirt and I don't have it? Or pee on myself four times? I only have three pairs of underwear!”

“I'm gonna make you pee yourself four times,” Chan mumbled under his breath.

Luckily, the drive to the lake house was fairly quick and without any problem, Jeonghan being the trusted direction-giver only making them go off-route to get himself a coffee at Starbucks. They arrived soon after Minghao, Jun, Soonyoung and Seokmin.

“Welcome to the plaza del party,” Soonyoung bowed in front of them, giggling.

“That doesn't even make sense,” Joshua retorted.

“You must be so much fun at parties,” Soonyoung snorted.

Joshua decided against replying, instead helping Mingyu get their luggage out of the car. Chan was already gone doing something somewhere with Jun and Soonyoung, while Minghao and Seokmin were getting the place ready for the night.

“Hi guys!” Minghao greeted them as they entered the house. “How was the ride?”

“Pretty uneventful,” Mingyu answered, stepping out of the way to let Jeonghan carry his bag inside.

“Just how it should be,” Minghao nodded, instructing Seokmin to not drop that vase because it has his grand-grand-grand-mother's ashes in it.

By the face he made while saying that, Mingyu was at least 80% sure Minghao was bullshitting, but he won't test his theory.

“Where are the rooms?” Mingyu asked, looking around.

It was a fairly big house, but still small for the number of guests there would be tonight.

“So, we'll be around three guys per room, they're all upstairs,” Minghao told him. “I sleep in my own room alone, and no one in my parents' room. It's locked anyway, but I'm looking at you Jeonghan.”

“I would never,” Jeonghan smiled, batting his eyelashes. “Unrelated, which room is it again?”

“Hannie,” Joshua rolled his eyes, smiling nonetheless. “Come on, unless you want to be stuck with Chan and Soonyoung in the same room, I'd suggest we team up with Gyu.”

The three men grabbed their bags, heading upstairs when a cellphone rang in the room.

“Oh!” Seokmin ran to the coffee table in the living room, grabbing his phone. “It's Wonwoo, he's probably calling me to say they're getting closer.”

Mingyu froze, dropping his bag. Jeonghan's eyes were wide open, whilst Joshua almost went into fight or flight mode. Even Minghao looked shocked, apparently not knowing who he had invited over for the weekend.

Seokmin answered the phone, bubbly as ever, clueless about the mood dropping drastically in the room.

“Hao,” Joshua shout-whispered. “Did you know he was coming?”

Minghao shook his head.

“Never imagined Seokmin could be friends with a guy like that.”

“Is it too late for me to leave?” Mingyu asked, eyeing the door.

“And leave us here with no car and no way of coming home?” Jeonghan whined. “At least take me with you, we can leave the others here.”

“I can hear you, idiot,” Joshua poked Jeonghan's cheek. “Now, come on, Mingyu. You can't let this ruin your weekend, let's just ignore him.”

“Oh, I can and I will let it ruin my weekend,” Mingyu whined.

“I'll figure out something,” Minghao tilted his head. “Don't worry, I can talk to Seokmin about it, if you want?”

Mingyu shrugged, defeated. Why does Wonwoo have to come ruin everything all the time?

“I'll talk to Minnie, Hannie you can go and help Gyu set up the room for us?” Joshua offered.

Mingyu nodded, grabbing one of Joshua's bags as Jeonghan let the other fall on the floor.

“What? I'm not strong like you.”

The taller man grabbed the second bag, carrying now four luggage in his arms. Joshua patted him in the arm.

“It's going to be okay, trust me.”

@muselin and @tinysmuttythoughts I'm so sorry for the late reply, I haven't been in the mood for internet the last few days. But oh god, I'm so excited about your answers.

By the way, I apologize in advance for my English... as you may notice it sucks.

Now sit back and let me tell you this story... No, but seriously...

It must have been 2008 when I first got into kpop, but I tried to resist it with all my strength. My two sisters say that I've always had "weird" hobbies in their eyes, and I'd been interested in Japan and its culture (mainly painting and movies) for a while by then, so I kind of naturally ended up getting into Japanese pop and rock as well. Thanks to that, I met one of my best friends online, and we spent hours together online and eventually became friends in real life (she's from the same country as me). But back to the point.

Like I said, I was listening to Japanese pop at the time, but on the online forum I was active on, Korean music was slowly becoming more and more popular. One day a girl on that forum recommended the song Hey! Don't bring me down by TVXQ. That was the very first kpop song I ever heard. I was like 'Okay, sounds good, but I'll stick with the Japanese'. Oh, how naive I was. My friend and I discovered F.T. Island. That was the first Korean band I actively followed. Then 2PM debuted, which is exactly how I remember listening to kpop since 2008. I still avoided Super Junior, though. I knew they existed, but the number of members scared me. So, of course they ended up being my favorite group. Nowadays I only actively follow older groups like Super Junior, F.T. Island, TVXQ. I quite like Shinhwa, because come on, who wouldn't like someone who has survived 24 years in this crazy business. I'm also quite fond of VIXX, Mamamoo (I've seen them live, at a school festival when I was on my study stay in Seoul). or MONSTA X, but otherwise I don't really follow the newer bands, I don't know, I can't get into them. Some of my favorite groups have disbanded or are inactive... like Sistar, 4minute, MBLAQ and f(x).

@tinysmuttythoughts about figure skating... I'm generally a sports enthusiast. I've loved sports since I was a kid and I miss playing sports terribly. I've been in a wheelchair since I was 13 after I had an accident, but until then I was a really active kid. Today I can only watch sports as a fan and I especially like the Olympics. I know the event is problematic for many reasons, but damn how I love it. And figure skating? I've loved watching it since I was a kid, but the years Yuzu's been competing... just wow! It's just a beautiful sport and Yuzuru Hanyu is phenomenal and Shoma Uno is adorable and totally awesome too. And I should probably warn you, the Olympics are coming up in a month, so I apologize in advance for all the posts about sports.

Moving in with the boys

As the playlist and name of the album had been decided, there was only one thing left to do: start practicing all the dances and performances before recording them.

As having two managers and having separated training schedules would be too complicated it had been decided that you would join the boys manager while the agency looked for a new manager for you solo debut the year after.

Sejin was very sweet and understanding with you as you were the only girl and his first decision was having you move in with the boys as you, after all, were a member of BTS.

This was all communicated to you the last day of training as a trainee. The others trainee only new you would debut, but you weren't allowed to tell them in which group or anything about the debut concept. After 10 hours of training they all gave you a hug and you left to look for Sejin's van. There were no party's thrown or any beautiful words said. But you were okay with it, you knew yourself it wasn't easy to see others debut as you stayed behind for who knew how long. You weren't gonna cry, you told to yourself. But as you walked out of the building in to the van, you eyes got watery. They had been your siblings and moral support for so long. You could only wish them the best.

As you walked in to Sejin's van you put your pet on. Now that you were going to debut as a member of the biggest group in Korea, you had to keep your identity a secret. You weren't allowed to be seen with Sejin until you debuted. For this reason, you seated on one of the back seats were the windows were dark coloured.

As you took a deep breath and shook your tears away, Sejin spoke up: 'We will go get your things at the GFriend dorm and then we will go to your new home: BTS dorm'

You were utterly surprised. 'He wants me to live with BTS? But, but... '

'Yes that's right' he answered. It's then that you realized you were thinking out loud. 'I alredy told the boys about it and they are very excited. They have prepared a room for you. ' he continued.

'But what will people think?' that was actually the only thing you were worried about. It's true that you had only met them a few times, but you could already feel a connection with them and knew living with them wouldn't be a problem at all. But you were worried about the consequences it might have for the boys. If people started shipping you with one of the boys... No, that couldn't happen. You had been told when you signed your trainee contract that you weren't allowed to date anyone in the company and that dating scandals would mean a reduction of your pay. No, you would do your best to not let anything happen.

'It's a new situation for everyone' You snapped back to reality. 'I've talked with Namjoon and he has made the boys very aware of the situation. You don't need to worry about them, they will take care of you as if you were their little sister. And about scandals, as long as you don't give opportunities for it to happen, the company will handle them with no problems. ' Sejin said.

By now you were already close to your old dorms. What Sejin had told you, had defenetly eased your nerves but you were still a bit worried. A voice in your head saying that ARMY wouldn't like you living with them.

As you stepped out of the car, a soft brizzle hit your face, somewhat grounding you from those dark thoughts. 'No, this is my time to shine. I'm not going to let anyone take me down'  you thought to yourself.

You stepped into the dorm and the complete silence overwhelmed you. GFriend were still at the company building practicing so you were all alone. It was strange to see the normally so full of cheer and life house so silent and empty now. You were somewhat sad that you didn't have the opportunity to say goodbye to the girls that had adopted you and treated you like one more member. Even though you were excited and happy to debut with BTS, you sometimes thought you would have preferred to debut with GFriend. You were gonna miss them, but at the same time you thought of your bright future. It was a sweet-sour victory for you.

You thought about this as you packed the little clothes you had there. You had left your homecountry with only a few clothes and even though you weren't short in money, the trainee pay wasn't exactly what you would call extensive.

When you were done you took a last look at the dorm that you had so many memories in. The kitchen were you would cook, the living room normally filled with laughter and the room you shared with the other maknaes. You were gonna miss it, but you had a big adventure ahead of you. So you took a deep breath and closed that creaky door one last time before heading back to the car.

Sejin helped you load you luggage onto the back and then you stepped back into the van. It was alredy getting dark and you were tired after such an intense day. As you were driving around Seoul on your way to BTS' dorm, you started to doze off, head filled with wonderful dreams that seemed closer everytime and face full with a sweet smile.

'Y/N, we have arrived. '

You wake up to Sejin opening your door and helping you step out of the van and taking your backpack. As you look around you, you realize it has stopped raining and it's completely dark. You can't see very well around you, but as you inquire in the darkness you start to see the outlining of what you can only call a cute modern apartment building.

You follow Sejin into that building and step into an elevator. As the door open, you heart starts beating faster and faster. You don't know why, but you are nervous. It's true that you had already met them a few times, but this was different, you were about to live with them. See them in their most vulnerable but at the same time most comfy state. You weren't sure if you were prepared to show them as well that side of you.

Right then, you got to the door. Sejin was about to knock on it, when he got a phone call. He quickly answered it and started to leave, turning around to sign you a knocking motion before finally leaving with the elevator ding

You turned around shocked and hesitantly raised your hand to knock. Before you could even give a second knock, the door flew open, two goofy and fun faces apearing through the opening to greet you, together with the smell of meat being grilled.

'Y/N!!! You're finally here!! ' Taehyung says while Jungkook jumps on his back, unable to contain his excitement. But before you can even answer Jimin appears out of nowhere and takes your luggage.

'C'mon Y/N! I'll show you your room! ' he says while starting to run through a corridor to the right.

'No! I want to! ' says Jungkook while jumping off Taehyung's back and chasing Jimin.

You stare at them startled but happy to see they are as cute in real life as in the Run episodes you had once watched and rewatched. Taehyung looks at you with his boxy smile and takes you by the wrist guiding you into the corridor Jungkook and Jimin had once disappeared.

You pass through some closed doors as well as some open ones. You get to peek into one of the rooms and you see a recording studio-like room with white walls and tons of music related stuff. Before you can ask yourself who works there you have already arived where the other two maknaes are.

A beautiful little room at the end of the corridor. It has broken-white walls and a huge window with open curtains. As you look around you start to discover furniture. A double bed in the middle of the right wall, a white wardrobe in the middle of the left wall, a desk in front of the window and a bed side table between the bed and the wall. You can see that a lot of effort has been put in this simple but cozy room, with even a rugmat on the floor in front of the bed.

'Wow, this is just... ' you say as you tear up. You were worried you would feel like a stranger, but this actually felt like home. Them being some welcoming made you emotional and you couldn't stop the tears from flowing.

'Don't you... Don't you like it?' Jungkook asks timidly. You look at the looks on their faces and realize how worried they are.

'No, oh god, I love it. It's just perfect. ' you answer quickly. They give each other relieved glances and as you wipe away the tears that keep falling, Namjoon and J-Hope walk in.

'Boys, what did I tell you? She has just arrived and you have already made her cry? You are unbelievable.' the leader speaks.

The three maknaes at once start running out of the room with cheeky laughters while J-Hope throws a slipper at them in a try to "teach them a lesson".

This whole action makes you laugh and forget about all your worries. This is perfect, this is your new home and those are your new roommates. 'This is gonna be fun' you think to yourself.

After having retrieved his slipper, J-Hope takes a look at you and starts explaining. 'This was our old game room were we would play computer games and just chill on our free days. We did our best to clean it and prepare it for you. We hope you like it. ' he says while smiling.

'We hope you will feel comfortable and at home and please feel free to tell us if any-' Grrrrrr

'Oh no, this can't be happening, did you really just interrupt Namjoon with a rumbling stomach?' you think.

'Woah, someone's hungry! ' J-Hope says with a big smile on his face. 'Jin and Suga are nearly done cooking. '

'Why don't you take a shower and come join us for dinner after? ' Namjoon suggests.

'That would be great, thank you' you agree with a smile.

"Great! Let me show you your private bathroom then" he says while leading the way.

The shower was great, you felt refreshed and confortable in the clean clothes that you put on.  And you used the shower time to think and absorb everything that had happened in the last few hours.

As you walked out of you room you guided youself to the living room through the smell of food. You walked into a huge room that combined a kitchen with the dining and living room all in one. As you looked around, you saw everyone was there. Suga finishing the cooking while Jin scolded Namjoon for trying to cut the strawberries for dessert with a butter knife. J-Hope was walking around with a spoon full of food trying to get Jungkook to try out (an experiment he had done) and Jimin and Taehyung were setting the table in a competition to try to make it as beautiful as possible.

Looking at this scene made your heart jump in happiness, you were lucky enough to be able to share one year of your life with this amazing human beings and you were going to make the most out of it, after all, you were the 8th member of BTS. And with those happy thoughts you walked in to join the jolly chaos that was BTS' living room.

summary: you have been friends for quite some time now, you aren't besties but for sure you have a nice friendship and connection. You hang out to eat and stuff with the same group of friends, sometimes just the two of you talk and have good conversations.

renjun

i feel like renjun likes to study the person he is attracted to. Even tho he is young he doesn't wants to be to someone who is really chill about relationships so it takes him quite some time to fall for someone. That's why you captivated him since he met you, you were kind nice and always interested in what he had to say.

jisung texts you inviting you to come over to their dorm were they are going to hang out and have dinner with some friends, you accept and proceed to get ready. At the moment you arrive you realize you are gonna see renjun and you get excited and smiley. You enter the dorm and greet the members who are sitting at the floor, renjun looks at you but immediately turns his head avoiding doing eye contact and not even saying hi to you. You start feeling uncomfortable and upset.

"Hey, let's play 'truth or dare'" Jeno says excited, everyone agrees, you aren't really feeling like it but you agree as well. It's been 10mins since the game started and the craziness of the members makes you laugh a lot and forget about how renjun was avoiding you. 

the bottle stops at renjun and you have not other option than looking at him. "Truth or dare.? Jeno asks him. "I pick dare." Renjun says with a smile. "You have been kinda weird with each other the whole night." Jeno says while looking at you. "I dare you to kiss y/n, i hope like that the tension between you two ends." Jeno says winking. Renjun looks at you nervous but proceeds to move in front of you. He doesn't say a word and starts kissing you, you were shocked trying to process the whole. You think about what was he acting so weird the whole night and about how you didn't wanted this to end. His lips felt like heaven, you felt like you were dreaming. You decide to stop the kiss and renjun looks at you. "I'm sorry if I've been avoiding you the whole night. I spent the whole night last night thinking about you and how much i liked you, but at the moment you came in i became nervous because i don't know if you feel the same as me." He says while looking at the floor. "Of course i feel the same as you, that's why I've been trying to talk to you the whole night." You say sounding upset. "I'm sorry for acting like an idiot. Can i makeup for it taking you on a date tomorrow?" He says with a shy smile. "I'll love too." You respond him with a comforting smile. 

jeno

jeno gives me a vibe that he doesn't falls easily for someone, he is kinda picky and wants someone who he knows is worth spending his time with and also sharing the purest sides of him. Since he met you he liked the fact that you respected his quiet personality and always approached to him in a kind way without pressuring him.

you just arrived to seoul after a long vacation so you decide to throw a little party to see your friends again, you are lowkey doing this since you have missed jeno so much and you want to see him so bad !! You are hoping he shows up and doesn't have a tight schedule or something.

you are sitting near the front door so you can receive all of your guests, you hear the door knock and you go to it, for your good luck is jeno with the rest of dream. You greet them with a sweet smile trying to hide your excitment by seeing jeno. They hand you welcome gifts that they bought for you and it makes you flustered. While you are talking your friends pushes you all to your living obligating you to play 'truth or dare', you sit besides jeno giving each other shy smiles here and there. The whole thing goes really well and you are all enjoying yourselves.

the bottle spins and stops right in front of jeno, he laughs in the sweetest way what makes your heart spins. "Ooooh jeno, truth or dare?" Haechan says playfully. "I pick dare." Jeno says with his characteristic smiley eyes. "I think you should take a risk tonight, i dare you to kiss y/n." Haechan says teasing his member. 

jeno smiles at you scratching his head, he proceeds to grab your face with both of his hands. He starts kissing you and turns into a complete different person, it didn't felt like the guy with the sweet eye smile. He slides his tongue inside of you playing with yours, he is passionate, romantic and sweet, you heart beats faster and you feel like you are out of your mind. You push him slightly in sign of end the kiss and he understands. He separates from you and gives you a sweet smile. "I'm sorry it went like this, I've waiting for this so long that i couldn't hold back." He says firm. "Im completely okay with this, i really liked it." You say to him smiling. "Okay, then we should go out tomorrow and continue it." He says with a flirty smile. "I'm down for that." You say following his game.

haechan seems to be really extrovert, talkative and open, but on the inside when he likes someone he approaches carefully until he feels like the other person is comfortable with him and think about him as a friend.

nct are celebrating their 5th year of debut and decided to do a little party to celebrate it, inviting the rest of nct members and their closets friends. Renjun texted you two days ago inviting you and telling you that haechan really wanted you to go and is excited to see you but was shy about it. You smile while reading the message and accept the invitation.

you arrive to the party and find mark in the entrance, you congratulate him and he didn't even lets you talk and grabs your hand leading you to the circle of people sitting on the floor, you try to ask what are they doing but you sit anyways. "Look, here is haechan, talk to him while we start the game." Mark says excited while standing and leaving you in the spot right next to haechan. 

you feel how your whole face becomes red while you try not look at the boy next to you. "Oh, hi y/n i was waiting for you." He says smiling. "Well, no i wasn't waiting for you, i thought you weren't coming because it was late, so i was waiting but no because i was waiting for you specifically." He says now in panic and nervous. You laugh at his adorable expression. "I understand, don't worry i was gonna come anyway." You say to him smiling. "Yes, what matters is that you are here now." He says with heart eyes giving a warm smile. You both stop looking at each other since you are flustered and blushing so keep smiling trying not to look at the other.

you discover that the game you are playing is 'truth or dare' what makes you a little bit nervous but you try to keep calm, as long as they don't make you do anything weird you are okay. The bottle spins one more time and stops in front of haechan, he acts excited and playful for his members. "Haechanie, truth or dare?" Jungwoo asks. "Come on, pick dare of not it's no gonna be entertaining." Jaemin says pouting playfully. "Okay, i know you want me to entertain you all because I'm the best of the party." He says confident making everyone laugh. "I pick dare." Jaemin smiles satisfied.

"I dare you to-" jungwoo says but gets interrupted. "Wait, wait, wait, i'll do it. You own me one lee donghyuck." Taeil says with a playful evil smile. "I dare you to kiss y/n." He finally says. Haechan is sitting next to you so he immediately looks at you, you nod your head in sign of agreement. "Okay, here i go." Haechan says in a calm voice. He softly grabs your face with both of his hands, he starts kissing you slowly, you close your eyes and continue the kiss. Haechan lips felt so soft and safe, you felt like you were eating the sweetest candy. It might last seconds but you felt like it was forever. He slowly separates for you while giving you a warm smile, you smile at him back. The game continues. "Hey, i really enjoyed it. I was wondering if you wanted to play games with me tomorrow." He whispers to your hear. You feel like blushing. "Yes, i would love too." You say while looking at him. "Okay! So it's a date then." He tells you playfully making you laugh.

jaemin is direct and straight forward when he likes some, he tries to drop hints here and there to see if you can catch them. He is always flirty and tries to spend a lot of time with you and it just makes you both be soooo into each other.

dream members are celebrating jaemin's birthday, you are excited to attend and even spend weeks trying to find the perfect gift. You have liked jaemin for such a long time now but sometimes he confuses you so you aren't sure if you should confess or not, he always throwing hints but you aren't sure if he actually wants to be in a relationship, so you just hold back.

you arrive to the party and jeno opens the door for you inviting you to come in, you ask for jaemin and he tells you he is in the living room, you approach there and find him talking to some of his friends. "Hello! Happy birthday, i got something from you!" You tell him while handing him the gift. "Oh my god! You didn't have to, thank you so much." He says excited while giving you a hug. You feel how you start blushing. 

you are talking and chenle grabs your wrist. "Let's play 'truth or date'." He says grabbing you to a spot on the floor. "Jaemin-ah, since it's your birthday you go first." Chenle says. "Truth or dare?" Chenle asks with a smile. "Dare of course." Jaemin says with a confident vibe, which makes him look even more attractive. "Okay, i'll give you a birthday gift. I dare you to kiss y/n." Chenle says with a playful laugh. You start blushing and your palms start sweating.

"Okay." Jaemin says with cero trail of nervousness. He instantly grabs your face and starts kissing you wildly, you feel how all the feelings you have been hiding all this time are finally coming out. You play with his hair and get closer to him making the kiss deeper. He stops the kiss and separates from you. "Take this as a gift too." He winks and gives a playful smile. "I hope you know now how i feel about you." He says staring into your eyes. "Yes, i think now i got all the signs." You say while biting your bottom lip. 

chenle

chenle seems like he would try to get close to their crush and be talkative, he would try to show his interests. He would be into all the things this person is talking about, listening carefully and paying attention to them. He would try to be their friends so thet can be comfortable with each other.

you are invented at your friends house who is throwing a little party for their birthday, you put on an outfit and makeup and head to the party. You enter the house greeting all of your friends feeling happy that you know everyone in there. "Hey, why don't we play 'truth or dare', come on it's fun." You say excited clapping your hands. Everyone agrees and leads to the living room to sit in a circle. While everyone is finding a spot to sit on you look up and find out that chenle is right there in front of you with the rest of dream, they are all sitting as well. You feel how you start sweating and blushing, but you try not to look nervous. You have liked chenle for a ling time now but he is just so nice and friendly that you don't want to confess and ruin the friendship.

chenle finally finds you and waves at you while smiling, you wave too giving a smile back. The start games and you all laugh and have a good time. Now the bottle stops pointing at chenle. "Truth or dare." One of your friends asks chenle. "I'll go dare." Chenle says enthusiastic. "Well, you seem to be nice friends with y/n so is not gonna be weird if you kiss, right?" Your friend says teasing. You immediately start regretting the second you say to start playing that game, you wanted to slap yourself. 

"So i dare you to kiss y/n." Your friend says while pointing at you. You start swearing in your head, your palms at swearing and you try to hide you nervousness but your laugh doesn't really helps you. Chenle approaches to your spot and looks right into your eyes, he grabs your right cheek softly with his hand and starts kissing you. He is so sweet and caring turning it into the sweetest kiss ever. You feel how your palms stop sweating and your heart is in calm now. The kiss ends and he looks at you. "We didn't get to say hi properly but this was a good way to greet you." You both give a shy laugh. "Look, i know this is random and this isn't the moment for it but i really like you and I've wanted to tell you since a few weeks ago but i didn't knew how." He says smiling. "It's okay, i feel the same, i like you too. I hope we can go out after this." You say smiling back at him. "I'll love to take you on a date." He says now flirting.        

jisung

jisung seems like a really friendly and soft baby, you always hanging out and being with same group of friends and even tho he is a little introvert and shy you always go to him first and making him comfortable, at the end of the day he always ends up telling you funny stories and you laugh together. His kind and friendly personality it's what makes you like him everytime more, and you hope he feels the same someday.

you enter the party, you hesitated a lot to come because you aren't a fan of them, but because this is haechan's birthday party there was no way jisung wasn't going to be there. You know jisung isn't a big fan of parties either but since it's his friends birthday and also his members were going to be there he was definitely going to be present.

you look around trying to find jisung so can go and talk to him, you find him at the food table grabbing some snacks, he looks everywhere looking like the cutest lost puppy.

you are about to walk in his direction when your girl friend grabs your wrist and says "hi y/n, we are playing 'truth or dare', come sit!" you are startled and confused but you end up sitting in the circle of people. you see jisung who is standing at the other side of the circle staring at everyone while looking shy amd nervous. "yah! park jisung, come here, let's play." haechan says while grabbing jisung's pant and the rest of dream members are convincing him to join. he looks soft and nervous but decides to sit next to his friends. you are worried expecting that no one makes jisung feel uncomfortable.

you are both enjoying the game and laughing at everyone's reactions but the bottle hasn't pointed at any of you. suddenly the bottle points at jisung and he looks shooked, with his eyes wide open and pointing at himself not believing what is happening. you become kinda nervous to see what is gonna happen. "so jisungie... truth or dare." haechan says smiling and fluttering his eyelashes playfully. jisung scratches his head and grins his mouth nervously "mmm, i think i will go... dare!" he says firmly yet kinda shy. everyone and in the room goes "ooooh" does to jisung unexpected choice.

dream members gather together, excluding jisung, they whisper and laugh, when they split again chenle and jaemin look at you without discretion and laugh excitedly. "well, i dare you to kiss our beautiful friend right here, y/n!" haechan says confident and cheerful. you feel like you started blushing and becoming a real life tomato. "come on, just a little tiny peck jisungie." jaemin says smiling brightly. jisung stares at you smiling shyly and goes to the middle, your body wasn't reacting but you ended up going to the middle as well.

you are in front of each other. "hey, you don't have to do this if you don't want to". you say to his ear while smiling. "it's okay, i want to". jisung says making you feel even more nervous. he comes closer to you until your lips slowly connect and it turns into the softest kiss ever, you felt so happy that this was finally happening.

you separate and smile at each other shyly. "y/n, i've always liked you, i wanted to tell you but i wasn't sure how, thank you for always taking care of me". he says smiling. "i like you too, and don't worry i will always be here for you."

You and Geonhak agreed that you would meet together on Tuesdays and Thursdays, right after ONEUS practices. You couldn't wait to dance the following Tuesday. It's currently Sunday evening, and the practice room is probably empty, so you grab your workout clothes and bag and walk to the RBW building. You don't live super close there, but the walking distance is manageable. It's always been your only exercise, so you tolerated it.

You use the key that the boys lent you long ago to get into the building. The practice room is empty, the lights off. It's 6PM, and none of the idols are expected to be here practicing. Obviously, they can come if they want. Youngjo often spends a lot of time in recording studios when producing. There have been multiple times where you'd hang out with the boys as they finished recording before comebacks late at night. This is the first time you've been here completely on your own, for yourself. You feel like you're trespassing, by not being an idol or trainee here, but you already have a bit of a reputation here as ONEUS's friend. No one will kick you out.

You place your bag down, and don't bother with the light. Your computer will be light enough. After stretching sufficiently, you take out your computer. You find the Weekly Idol choreography video you'd used the other day, and repeat the dance presented on the screen. You recall Geonhak's instructions, his voice echoing in your ear.

You're rushing, slow down a bit. Step. Step. Step. There you go.

You can feel how clumsy and stiff you are, but you can also feel how much better you are than from when you'd practice in your bedroom, watching live performances.

Your steps are much more in line with the beat now. Your hand movements aren't half as elegant or intentional as Geonhak's on screen, but they're present.

When you get to Geonhak's rap, instead of stopping, you continue. You clumsily try to imitate his skips and hops, and you manage to get through it. You notice the power in his movements, how each movement he makes is emphasized by the beat. Every kick, every hip thrust.

The song arrives at the pre-chorus, where Keonhee begins singing, and your eyes widen. Those moves are so fast and large. You're not there yet.

You restart the song and continue practicing up until Geonhak's part. He looks so elegant in the video, and you wonder if you look even half that elegant as you try to mirror him.

Halfway through Dongju's part of the song, the door is opened and Geonhak walks in, startling you. You yelp in surprise, and he yells, jumping back, and hits his back on the doorframe. He yells out in pain, falling to his knees as you rush to his side to help him, but he's already recovering on his own.

"Sorry for barging in," he says, before realizing it's you as you rub his back where it hit the doorframe. "Y/N? What are you doing here?"

"I'm . . . practicing," you say, gesturing to the computer which displays the video. "What're you doing here? Didn't your practice end hours ago?"

Guhak ducks his head. "I came back to practice," he admits, laughing while rubbing the back of his neck. "So I could figure out how to help you on Tuesday."

Oh.

You smile, looking away from him. You didn't think he'd need to practice extra to teach you. If you had known that, you probably wouldn't have asked him, simply because you don't want to be an inconvenience.

"I'm sorry for interrupting your practice," he says. "You had the lights of, so I thought no one was here. I'll find another empty room if you want."

You shake your head. "No, you can stay here and practice with me if you want."

"I can give you pointers if you need any," he says, taking off his thin jacket to reveal a black T-shirt. You nod, and he sets down his own bag near yours before plopping down on the ground. "Have you stretched yet? If you don't stretch before and after exercising, you could hurt yourself."

You nod, but sit down anyway to join him on the floor. "I stretched a bit, but I'll stretch with you."

After you both have finished stretching, you restart the song. The two of you dance together to the start of the song, watching yourselves in the mirror. You can see that you're doing well, much more on the beat with Geonhak beside you to follow, but his presence is also distracting.

For one, you can't help but compare yourself to him. He's much more confident with his moves, more deliberate. His moves are sharp and strong, and yet elegant at the same time. While you make the same moves at the same time as him, your moves are somewhat shaky. Of course, Geonhak has years of dance experience, and months of experience with the song, while you only had that one day last week and various random days you found yourself vibing to the song in your room, but that thought doesn't help your confidence enough.

Secondly, his bare arms are a little distracting. He's very strong, is able to carry two of his members easily, even three if he wants. His strength shows in his arm muscles.

By the time you two have gone through the song a couple times, you find yourself panting with your hands in your thighs. Geonhak, however, is barely breaking a sweat. The song continues in the background, and you watch in awe as Geonhak continues to dance gracefully.

After the song has finished, Geonhak smiles at you with his soft smile, and you swear butterflies are fluttering around your stomach. You internally scold yourself and tear your gaze away from him. 

"Good job," Geonhak says, and you nod, avoiding his eyes. "You're getting the hang of it."

The butterflies don't mean anything, you tell yourself. You're just tired.

"Thanks," you say. Geonhak opens his mouth to say something when your phone rings loudly from inside your bag, which lies in the corner of the room. "Excuse me," you mutter, running to grab your phone. The caller ID reads 'Doongdoongie,' and you pick it up.

"Hello?" you ask.

"Hi Y/N!" Dongju's voice is loud through the phone, and you can't help but laugh a little.

"Hi Dongju," you say.

"Y/N, what are you doing right now?"

"I'm, uh, practicing dancing at RBW with Geonhak." You glance at Geonhak, and he shoots you a soft smile.

"Oh? Yes, I think Geonhak mentioned that he was going to be teaching you soon. He wouldn't shut up about it. He was very excited," Dongju says, and you raise your eyebrow, looking at Geonhak again.

"Was he?"

"Yeah, but that's not what I'm calling for. I'm calling to ask you for a favor. Can you come over to the dorm?"

"Now?"

"Yes, now."

"Why?" you ask.

"Aish, Y/N, I can't tell you that. Hurry up!"

You sigh. You were enjoying practicing With Geonhak. But . . . "Alright," you say.

"Thank you, Y/Nie!"

"Bye, Doongdoongie," you say. Dongju hangs up and you drop your phone to your side.

"Sorry, Geonhak, I have to go," you say to Geonhak, packing up your stuff.

"What? Why?" Geonhak furrows his eyebrows. "You should stretch quickly before going, to relax your body. You could hurt yourself if you don't."

You nod and plop down on the floor, and Geonhak joins you in stretching. You stretch your legs out forward, and reach for your toes. It doesn't matter if you can touch them, the point is to stretch your leg muscles.

"I dunno why. Dongju wanted me to meet him at the dorm. He didn't tell me why." You hear Geonhak sigh sadly, and look up at him. "So you were excited to teach me?" you ask. Geonhak's eyes widen, and he tears his eyes away from yours, as if to pretend he's too focused on stretching.

"What did he tell you?"

"He said you wouldn't shut up about it." You smile at him teasingly.

"He's exaggerating," Geonhak says. "I'd only mentioned it to him." He pauses. "I am excited to teach you, though."

Your heart feels warm. "Thanks, Geonhak."

You get up, dust off your workout pants, and grab your bag. As you reach the door, you turn to wave goodbye to Geonhak.

"See you Tuesday for practice," you say. "Bye!" He waves back, the softest smile on his face which makes the butterflies resurface again. You ignore them, and quickly leave.

You exit the building and walk to the ONEUS dorm. You've been there countless times since ONEUS moved in before debut, so you know the way well. Sometimes it's for movie nights. Sometimes, to pick up something for a member who's working at RBW. You can probably find your way there with your eyes closed.

You enter the passcode to the dormroom, and find that Dongju is in the living room, sitting on the couch, his phone in his hand. Hwanwoong sits next to him, also on his phone. Dongju looks up as you enter.

"You took your time," he says, and you glance at your own phone for the time.

"Don't be mean," Hwanwoong scolds Dongju, hitting him in the chest. You shoot him a smile. You're friends with Hwanwoong, but you aren't very close. He's always friendly, but he's like that with everyone. Besides interactions like the one at practice last week, you two don't talk too much. You do like and admire him, but he's kind of intimidatingly cool and you can barely muster the courage to speak to him on your own.

"I had to stretch before I left," you explain. "What's up?"

Dongju leans back on the couch, and gestures for you to sit next to him, on the opposite side from Hwanwoong. You do so, and Dongju smiles.

"Do you know what day it is, Y/N?" Dongju asks.

You wrack your brain. It's not anyone's birthday. Keonhee's birthday was just over a week ago. And it isn't a holiday today. So . . .

"June 5th? Sunday?" you offer. Hwanwoong smiles, obviously very amused.

"And what's coming soon?" Dongju asks.

You ponder for a moment. "July 6th?"

Hwanwoong laughs loudly, clapping his hands, while Dongju rolls his eyes. "No! I mean--yes, but . . . Y/N, Geonhak's birthday is coming up on the 26th!"

"Oh yes. I remember. Is that why you called me here today? To tell me that Geonhak's birthday is coming up in twenty one days?"

"Yes," Dongju says, smiling widely. "And I want you to help me and Hwanwoong plan a birthday party."

You blink. "I mean, yes. Of course. But why don't you ask the other members, too?" 

Hwanwoong sighs and sits up. "The members decided to split birthday planning into two parts. We split ourselves into two teams. Team A, which is Youngjo, Seoho and Keonhee, and Team B, which is me and Dongju," Hwanwoong explains, his face too serious for the situation. Still, you listen intently. "Each team plans a separate part of the day. Before lunch and after lunch. Team A is also in charge of lunch plans, and we are in charge of decorations. Then we will come together the week before his birthday and figure out the final plan. Since we have one less member, we get to choose one person to add. So we invited you."

You blink, processing the situation. Two teams of ONEUS are separately planning Geonhak's birthday. Hwanwoong and Dongju want you to help them.

"Okay."

"You'll help?" Hwanwoong asks, an excited smile appearing on his face.

"Of course! He's my friend too."

 "Excellent. Do we want to start now?" Hwanwoong asks, patting the desk in front of the table. You notice a paper and a pencil have been lying there the whole time. "Let's make a list. What does every party have?" he asks.

"Cake," you suggest.

"Balloons!" Dongju says.

Hwanwoong scribbles quickly on the paper as you and Dongju shoot him suggestions.

"Games."

"Snacks and food."

"Alright." Hwanwoong says. "Remember, Team A is doing everything before lunch as well as lunch plans. We only need to decide snacks."

"He really likes ice cream," you say. "The one rainbow one from Baskin-Robbins. He loves that."

Hwanwoong laughs as he scribbles on the paper. "Yes, he does. Let's go back to decorations. What will we want?"

"Streamers."

"Balloons," Dongju says again. Hwanwoong snorts, writing it down even though it's already written.

You continue listing things off, chatting on and on about plans for Geonhak's birthday. You find yourself getting more and more excited and energized.

You end up leaving after a couple hours, walking to your own apartment, a smile on your face. You think about all of the good things going on. You're planning a surprise birthday party for Geonhak with Hwanwoong and Dongju. And on Tuesday, Geonhak will start teaching you how to dance.
