Yesterday something idk two days ago, i searched up hermes and his lovers cuz I've never heard anyone mentioning anything about hermes' lovers and there's a bunch of lists of his lovers and what they're and their names but something caught my attention more than it should..

That penelope, the wife of Odysseus and the queen of ithaca once a lover for hermes!? And literally have a child together?

I love how willing Athena was to call Telemachus her friend. Presumably, it shows how much she missed Odysseus in the years since "My Goodbye" after they had a big fight over (among other things) Ody considering her a friend. For a literal goddess who is used to much more imbalanced relationships with mortals, like the one she probably had with Diomedes, being friends with a mortal seemed super weird and inappropriate at first. But then when she pushed away someone who was legitimately her friend (also, for those who watched survived the livestream, the animatic of her holding baby Telemachus was so sweet😭), she was super lonely and regretted. As for why she didn't free him before now, she was probably still conflicted about it until she intervened to save Telemachus and then realized how much she missed Ody. So after she knew Telemachus for all of like ten minutes, this plucky little twink got her to realize that she could be friends with mortals and that it's partially her fault Odysseus didn't get home immediately since she abandoned him after the first real hurdle. And then she makes it right by standing up to her annoying rapist of a Dad to fight for Odysseus's freedom and she fucking DIES(?!) doing it?????

I'm very normal about this musical I promise. Thank you for making it Mr. Jalapeno Man.

I've noticed that despite all the crew having consistent internal monologues highlighted at some point in the anime, I can't think of one instance Luffy has had one so far (in Arlong Park arc at least)

Which leads me to think A) his head is empty there are no thoughts going on in there B) he just says exactly what he's thinking at all times or C) even they couldn't work out what was going on in Luffy's head

The funniest example of this is when the villagers come back when the Buggy pirates are defeated and ask Who are you and what happened to our Mayor????

And Nami is having the death note style monologue of weighing up every pro and con and possible outcome of what to say and then it switches to Luffy who immediately says We're pirates! :D I knocked out the mayor! :D
