Wait, Bibi explicitly said he wouldn't accept any Palestinian state? Do you have any sources where I could read more on this? Because uhhh, holy shit??
oh boy. i've been following this for the past week and its been giving me whiplash. you'll see why.
So from what i understand, Blinken was working on a deal to end the war, offering Israel normalization with some of its neighbours including Saudi Arabia. The key to this was the creation of a Palestinian state. Bibi rejected this, report from January 18:
Then everyone was kind of like: what the fuck and this report came out on January 19:
Also this which I feel:
Then Netanyahu and Biden had a phone call and afterwards Biden said that a two state solution was "not impossible" with Netanyahu, January 20:
Then Netanyahu was like "no":
And he's holding to that:
this article claims that he's leaving room open for a "demilitarized palestinian state" but like. come on.
this may be controversial to some but i have two hopes right now:
the international community (especially the US) demands an end to the current trajectory and forces the creation of a palestinian state in a way that will secure safety for israelis and palestinians alike.
netanyahu is forced to call an election and he gets replaced with someone who is actually trying to make things better and not worse. if this happens i will travel to israel and vote netanyahu out. it is the least i can do.
thats just me though.

This is something hilarious.
The Telegraph handed Ben Gvir a silver platter of propaganda and he denied that he got it.
In the span of two hours, it went from "Ben Gvir sent video of Hamas torturing hostages" to "Ben Gvir denies getting video of Hamas torturing hostages"
This is hilarious, and it really shows that israel has given up on the propaganda war. They know they've lost. All they're doing is dragging it out in the vein hope that daddy USA will bail them out of all their legal troubles.
At least I hope it's vein…

JULY 3 2024- "Israel's Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu retweets call to buy shirts printed with a map of an expanded Israel — including the West Bank, Gaza and Egypt’s Sinai — emblazoned with the slogan ‘Occupation Now’"
"It also contained a link to a website selling “Occupation Now” merchandise and advocating for the expansion of Israeli sovereignty into Sinai, southern Lebanon and, eventually, Jordan."
"The original post, which was promoted by Eliyahu, declared: “The people demand an occupation! Occupation now!”
"Last week, the security cabinet approved legalizing five West Bank outposts and the advancement of plans for over 6,000 new settlement homes." The establishment of these settlements are war crimes and illegal according to international law.

When they’re not pretending they’re indigenous to Palestine, Ashkenazi Jews know that they’re white.
According to a huge study done by the largest Jewish philanthropic organization in the world in 2012, 88% of Jews living in NYC were WHITE.

Last month, Palestinian terrorists murdered Lucy Dee and her two daughters, Rina Dee and Maya Dee while they were driving in the Jordan Valley.
Surviving daughter Tali Dee wrote a heartbreaking article in the Times of Israel last month, explaining the horrific grief she is suffering and will continue to suffer as a result of this violence.
Rabbi Leo Dee could have chosen anger, vengeance, and hatred towards the sick cowards who slaughtered his wife and daughters last month. Instead, he has spoken words of wisdom, kindness, and peace. He has even said that Arab neighbours sent him condolences and Dee also praised the fact that Lucy Dee’s organs helped save the life of an Arab as well as Jewish citizens.
Most importantly, Rabbi Dee has pointed out that this terrorism can happen whether you are in Tel Aviv or in Efrat. This is a clear rebuttal of those like UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, who so disgustingly try to blame the Dees for living in disputed territories when not long after this terrorist attack, a different Palestinian terrorist murdered an Italian tourist in Tel Aviv, which is not disputed territory.
It’s not about where the Jews live. Israel has offered the Palestinians almost all of the disputed regions several times in return for peace. Palestinian terrorism is about destroying the Jewish nation by murdering Jewish people. Period. This is why Hamas said in its charter that it would encourage the murder of any Jew anywhere.
Palestinian terrorists in Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the PLO, and the Palestinian Authority have no interest in peace or a two-state solution. They simply want the annihilation of the Jews.
As Rabbi Dee said, it’s time to stop equivocating between good and evil. The terrorist is the evil one. The terrorist is not a victim. The victim is not to blame for the actions of a terrorist.

Hamas, the Islamic movement that has been embroiled in fierce combat with Israel in the Gaza Strip since the slaughter of 1,200 Israelis and foreigners on October 7, was founded by Sheikh Ahmad Yassin 36 years ago this month during the opening days of the first Palestinian uprising.
Its status as an important component of the Palestinian struggle against Israel is ably chronicled by Tareq Baconi in Hamas Contained: The Rise and Pacification of Palestinian Resistance (Stanford University Press). Although this book was published in 2018 and has been somewhat overtaken by recent events, it is well worth reading even today because it is thorough and comprehensive in scale and scope.
...
Describing Hamas as “the movement currently most representative of the notion of armed resistance against Israel,” he also compares it to “a religious and armed anti-colonial resistance movement.” At another point, he quotes Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh as saying, “We are a people who value death, just as our enemies value life.”
Interestingly enough, Baconi is “unwavering” in his condemnation of targeting civilians on either side of the Israeli/Palestinian divide. Yet he rejects the common assumption that Hamas is a terrorist group, and concurs with the view that “Palestinian resistance fighters” are engaged in “a justified war” against Israel, which, he admits, is “a superb foe.”
“Hamas turned to suicide bombings as a tactic after an American Jewish settler, Baruch Goldstein, killed 29 Palestinian worshippers in a mosque in Hebron in 1994.”

A trying not to be cynical interpretation into the events in Israel and Gaza
You don’t broadcast what is happening, you communicate what the people watching you want to see or hear is happening.
It is a perversion of reality exacerbated by social media and corporate greed.
In his book, The Jewish War Front, Ze’ev (Vladimir) Jabotinsky wrote of the way in which the Jews of Europe were used by Hitler and the Nazis as a means by facilitate their rise to power.
If my memory serves me correctly, he described the Jews as being the oil or grease which enabled Hitler. (This prior to the realisation of the reality of Jewish rendering).
I read that many years ago, if the…
