Okay look, the bat boys and co would not get piercings bc if they get hooked on something in a fight it would be ouchie and Not Good! But!! If they did, this is what they would get:

Dick: Earrings. He’d be one of those mfers who would have one little dangly earring and serve absolute c*nt while doing it.

Jason: fifteen earrings on each ear, all kind of fancy cartilage piercings. More piercing than ear tbh. He also has a tongue piercing that he messes around with when he’s thinking or bored.

Tim: bisexual king needs a nose ring, I don’t make the rules. (He would also get a nipple piercing but that’s private!)

Steph: Earrings but nothing else. She absolutely got them done at a Claire’s when she was a preteen.

Duke: Actually wouldn’t get a piercing but it’s because he’s afraid of needles

Oof maybe it was a good thing I barely remember anything from season 1 of that unfortunate iteration…

I haven’t checked out mutant/mayhem/ since unfortunately it’s doing a similar crush thing but with leo having that trait instead of donatello.

So I’m a bit worried if that writing pattern follows the new iteration as well…

Rise definitely played it safe by not doing that and I’m grateful it focused on more the platonic family relationship… (And thankfully April’s more of a big sister to Donnie and the rest of the turtles in this iteration so there’s another plus to that.)

So I might wait until mm’s season 1 is done to give it a chance. (because I totally understand you being disappointed by 2012’s iteration deciding to go full on shitty 2000’s writing to the max eugh…)

I'm still trying to brainstorm a magical girl outfit for rise!April (the rottmnt iteration) on my side blog. Because the moment she got a mystic bat from one of the episodes, to me it just screams the colors of an exciting yellow or a refreshing green magical girl. And the two main rise!ocs I have are literally mg themed thanks to this blog so... I'm giving rise!April the title of a part time magical girl job lol

Please, don't get mad at me, but I have NEVER EVER watched Rise of TMNT. Though I do know that their April is black (ditto for Mutant Mayhem) and the animators in there also work on LEGO Monkie Kid.

XVA = US

A = single crochet decrease

BLO = back loop only

C = chain / slip stitch ?

CH = chain

E = treble crochet

EA = treble crochet decrease

EM = treble crochet 3 together

EV = treble crochet increase / 2 treble crochet into one stitch
