H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)?

books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or....... i guess comics, these days, but i HATE READING COMICS they juST HAVE MORE COMPELLING FANDOMS. book fandoms are PUNY nad everyone is STUPID. youd think actual literary fandoms would have reading comprehension and understanding of literary critique but no!!!!!!!!!!!!! its literally my eternal fuckign struggle. somehow comic fandoms hit the perfect medium between compelling, readable content and the enthusiasm of cartoon fans without the childishness of cartoon fans

this isnt really a thing i do. the only time i associate characters w songs is my own ocs. barbies theme is miltons tower from the what remains of edith finch soundtrack!

M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.

i have also never really been one to project myself into stories. its just not how i consume media. i think sollux and rose already closely resemble the kinds of friends i make, so maybe them?

i dont even know if i want to answer this question bc its so fucking humiliating LKJSNDLFSDNFSDF the truth is yes. i am solely responsible for. a lot. particularly in the pjo fandom. i created several crackships ground up all on my own way back in 2014 and developed a following for them and i. dont wantto tell you what those ships were. LSKJDFNSLDJNSDFSDDF ive also pioneered many ship tags for other fandoms and i ship a lot of rarepairs and stuff but i dont think im RESPONSIBLE for them?? in that some ppl already were into them/talking abotu them or tht theyre still not popular (augh. to the ones that became popular) but i AM liTERALLY responsible for some crack shit in the pjo fandom and its. it haunts me sometimes. i dont want to talk about it. IF YOU REMEMBER WHAT I DID NO YOU DONT

this is so vague. my headcanons are shifting and nebulous and aus are my constant companion in everything, but uhhhhhhghhusjkdjnsdg i think. roxy writes the same way dave draws comics. its extremely memey and meta and self aware and largely just for the personal lolz, and were all doing her a disservice by pretending her writing looks like roses, when in reality dirk is probably the one whod make comics the way rose makes books (which is probably why he doesnt make comics). its more of that thing where roxy and dave are the same and rose and dirk are the same ykwim. well YOU dont corvus but im sure someone else does

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?

jason takes after bruce in terms of like. adopting entirely too many kids. he broods

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

harvey is a heartwrenching character when written well, with a complicated view of morality, heartbreaking ties to our main hero, and a lot of internal conflict. something about such a hopeful character deadset on making a different in the system becoming a victim of it, and the potential he has as a vehicle for critiquing the law.

percy is my favorite character from pjo bc it was the very first time in my life i ever read a book and saw myself in it. hes aggressive, impulsive, and rebellious, he fidgets and has a hard time standing still, he acts on emotion without always thinking it through, he gets in trouble in school and hands his mom a murder weapon to kill his stepdad, hes just... hes a lot of the things ive always gotten in trouble for, things i couldnt help being, and hes a hero. he means everything to me.

vriska, i will maintain until the day i die, is one of the best homestuck characters- maybe just characters?- ever written. shes dramatic, shes impulsive, shes manipulative and mean and creative, and shes just so messy about it. shes a mean girl in a way that feels real, where her trauma impacts and shapes her as a person, and shes complex, with warring wants, and people she cares about, and dreams, and shes so messy. shes rough and rude and shes doing what SHE wants to, being a version of herself that feels right to HER, rather than some caricature of the hot badass evil lady. shes thirteen!! and she FEELS thirteen. shes a thirteen year old weird girl who is kind of an asshole, and she means literally fucking everything to me. shes a pirate!!!!! shes a swashbuckling badass dressing up in her larping outfit and yelling at her friends on the playground to swab the deck and she is the bestest ever, the end.

i didnt mean for each one of these to be longer than the last but here we are.

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

i hate jdedave peace and love it just feels weird as hell to me. dave, for the most part, is hyper respectful of other peoples choices and boundaries but when it comes to jade hes always trying to mke choices for her, to protect her, and it gets to the point where even jade points out how much it bugs her. jades crush on dave also seems to come from a place of misunderstanding to me, admiring a lot of the parts of himself that he exaggerates and pretends to care about as a result of trauma. it always felt like a kid crush that they shouldve grown out of with time. dave also just sort of seems to... go along with whatever romantic relationships people push him into at that age, rolling with whoever flirts with him jsut bc hes trying to maintain the image of a player, so its really hard to take him seriously any time he hits on someone?

that is just my interpretation of it tho

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

well. i havent finished my reread of homestuck, so that feels difficult to comment on just yet, bc im sure ill have a different opinion when i do finish it. no one in dc gets character arc bc theyre all just undone immediately, so thats like. yeah. and in pjo the arcs are pretty weak bc 1) kids books and 2) RICK UNDOES THEM ALL. AUGH. regardless of all of this, i am going to say jason grace. he had a lot of development in like the last two hoo books, or maybe just like.... hints of how he couldve developed? promise? which rick immediately set fire to in toa when he killed him, but fUCKING WHATEVER. UGH.

anyway actually tho eleanor from the good place. bisexual icon. queen. probably one of the best character arcs of all time. the episode w her mom has some of the most powerful fucking dialogue ever and i think about it. all the time. i should rewatch the good place.....

(PnF) This Needs to be Said

I know this seems a bit random as I haven't post anything in awhile, but I wanted to speak on three specific topics, because they've been bothering me. I want to first say that no one has made any of the following comments directly towards me or my writing, but I still feel these things need to be said.*Disclaimer: I request anyone reading this post to hear me out before leaving a comment or turning away as these topics are serious. The Canonical Ferbnessa is NOT pedophilia: I'm not talking about all Ferbnessa stories hear just the canonical one presented in Act Your Age. I see people saying this is wrong cause it's pedophilia, and as a victim of pedophilia I can confidently say it is NOT. Is it grooming on some level? Depends on how you view their relationship before this episode, but assuming it might be is completely reasonable. But, on a completely factual level their is nothing pedophilic about this relationship. They get together when Ferb is 18 and graduated high school. Whether their age gap personally bothers you or not doesn't change the fact that Ferb, at this point, is a consenting adult and can date whoever he wants. Even if he was 16, in some states he'd still be legally allowed to date Vanessa, just not do anything sexual with her. If you have a loved one who is 16 or 18 who is in a relationship with an adult who knew them as a child, it is completely reasonable to feel uncomfortable and be concerned. You can take your kid to/suggest therapy, relationship counseling, or waiting till after high school/college, but you can NOT make the choice for them.

Thomarie is NOT incest: If you know what 'Thomarie' is then you get where this claim comes from, and it is a completely unreasonable claim. Baseline; Thomas and Marie are NOT blood related, because Phineas and Ferb are NOT blood related. Incest is illegal, because any children coming from those relationships would have basically no chance at life due to close genes. Thomas and Marie don't actually share any genes, so they could have completely viable offspring. And, for those saying; "But, Phineas and Ferb feel like brothers." So what? People feel like siblings to their friends all the time, it doesn't suddenly make them related, or make their children feel related. Secondly, to the statement; "Saying Phineas and Ferb aren't really related ruins the whole message of the show." No it doesn't. The whole message of Phineas and Ferb is right in the final song of 'Candace Against the Universe'; Us Against the Universe, 'I'm not just talkin' blood relation.' It is literally a summary of the shows entire message, which is NOT; 'If you feel related to someone you are related.' The message of the show IS; 'No matter WHAT relationship you have with some one(be it sibling, friend, romantic partner), it is a choice you make. You CHOOSE the people you care about, your blood ties or lack there of, don't/shouldn't do it for you.' And, by that logic. Thomas and Marie's relationship doesn't go against the shows message, it is instead, a PERFECT example of the shows message. It shows that no matter what your ties to someone are whether by blood or by paper, you can feel differently about anyone and everyone, attachment is not a one size fits all.

These characters are FICTIONAL: Whether Ferbnessa is pedophilia in some peoples stories, or if Thomarie is incest, at the end of the day they are fictional characters. Pedophilia and Incest is illegal, because they have a victim. All laws exist to protect a possible victim; Not to cater to your personal opinions. And, fictional characters are not real people(obviously), and because of this, there is no REAL victim in these relationships. For those saying; "It could effect the children who read these stories; They are about characters from/inspired by a kids show." Stories/Pictures have rating for a reason, they have tags for a reason, fanfiction/fanart sites have rules for a reason. If a child finds a way to stumble upon these fanfictions/pictures despite the sights rules/rating then that's not the site/writer/drawers fault, they didn't intend for it to happen. Porn sites are just as easily accessible and you can't take THEM to court when a child discovers them. And, secondly, so what if these characters are from/inspired by a kids show? A lot of people who write/draw these characters in pedophilic/incestuous/sexual ways are those kids themselves expressing themselves and exploring their sexualities with characters they are familiar/comfortable with. I started to write/read sexual things about these characters when I was nine, and have been to this day(I'm not even in my twenties yet). Don't bash kids for expressing/exploring themselves in safe ways, they have to do it eventually. And, don't bash adults who find comfort in expressing/exploring themselves with these characters, they likely grew up doing so. The Main Reason for this Post: The people saying this stuff are hurting REAL people way more than this stuff would be if it were true. First off, judging people who are 18 for dating someone quite a bit older than them is treating them like a child. Whether you feel they are ready for a relationship like that or not is no longer your choice to make. At 18 a person becomes an adult, and they can't get used to adulthood when people are still telling them that they have all the rights and mental capacity of a child. Secondly, there are people who are in romantic relationships with their step-sibling/step-cousins/kids they grew up with, and people calling these relationships gross is impinging on their rights. No one has a right to tell a person who to date when that relationship isn't hurting anyone, and I don't see how two teenagers with no blood relation, who are in the same age rang, who both can and do consent to the relationship could be hurting each other. In summary, for those who make these comments; STOP THINKING YOUR FEELINGS AND OPINIONS ARE ABOVE THE FEELINGS AND OPINIONS OF OTHERS WHEN THE LAW IS FOR PROTECTING THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELL-BEING OF ALL PEOPLE, AND NOT THE FEELINGS AND OPINIONS OF THE INDIVIDUAL. The law can not pick a side in every debate, so it only picks sides when physical and mental pain is expressed, we as people have to deal with our on feeling and opinions. It isn't against the law to feel different then someone else, but it is against the law to physically/verbally harm others for feeling different than you. I want to make it clear that I am not forcing anyone to be comfortable with pedophilia/incest(in writing) or even relationships where someone is way older, or where the people in question are in a way, other than blood, related. I am simply telling those people to recognize that those are their opinions and their opinions are hurting even people they may be trying to 'help'. So, thank you for those who listened to my entire rant, and especially to those who learned something from it! If you wish to have a constructive conversation on any of the topics mentioned than I would be more than willing to listen and have a friendly debate with you, but I will not dignify simple hate with a response. Family ties Vanessa

Vanessa was blessed with good loving parents who always tried to do what was best for her, and a safe stable home. Her dad was a locksmith and her mother was a carpenter so she knows a lot about household repairs and how to get around locking your keys in the house or car. She’s got a good sense of right and wrong and a big heart. And she also knows her own worth and had a pretty stable sense of self confidence, albeit Shocker did a number on it and she’s still trying to recover from that.

On top of this she had an older cousin, Sammie, who would probably do anything for her. He taught her how to work with clay, and was always there when she needed him. He himself didn’t have a great home life, and he never let her come to his house because of that, but he tried not to let it affect Vanessa. Which for most of his life wasn’t hard because Vanessa’s dad didn’t want Sammie’s mom anywhere near his house any more than Sammie did. Vanessa could still kinda of tell that something was always off with Sammie though. But she was little and abuse had always seemed more of an abstract concept than something that could happen in her family, maybe other people, but her family wouldn’t let that slide, wouldn’t let a kid hurt like that. If Sammie was in a bad situation her parents would find out and help, so she didn’t question it much. She had no clue her parents were literally saving up to take Sammie’s mom to court for custody rights over him.

When Vanessa was a preteen though, Sammie’s mom started trying to come over whenever Sammie did, and she learned the hard way that no family is too nice to have bad people. She’d wait until Vanessa’s parents were at work to try to show up, her parents ended up installing a security system and making sure all the doors and windows were locked if her and Sammie were going to be in the house alone. Sammie stopped being allowed come over by his mom after a while of this, and Vanessa after a while stopped seeing him altogether. Which is hard to manage by the way, they lived in Death, which is a tiny ^ss(fictional) town.

One day Sammie ended up attacking another teen for throwing a beer bottle at him and making some remarks about his home life. Not long after Sammie just vanished. And nobody but Vanessa and her parents seemed to care. She decided if nobody else would, she’d look into what happened.

And she found out about Willow Lab, and how much of Death was connected to it, and what probably happened to Sammie. And she wanted to tell people, obviously, because her cousin wasn’t a lone victim of this sort of thing, and something had to be done.

But the lab got to her first.

And she spent years in there, and when she found out Sammie had in fact been there she found out he had escaped, and had hope. And when she escaped and went to look for him she found a grave, he’d been killed on the side of the road, shot in the back of the head in plain daylight and nobody had seen a thing. And her parents were dead too. Her aunt, Sammie’s mom, was the only family she had left and that woman hadn’t changed one bit.

She didn’t miss Death when she left. She missed her family. She missed her dad reaching her how to pick locks and her mom explaining how to fix a stripped screw, she missed them playing video games with her and eating dinner together and singing in the car and she missed them writing down plans in notebooks. She missed Sammie teaching her shortcuts in Mario kart wii, she missed him teaching her ways to sculpt and talking his teachers into letting her bake her pieces in the school kiln, she missed him bringing her to the corner store and buying her Yoo-Hoo, and when she asked why he’d go “So if you ever miss me you can get one and it’ll be like I’m still there.” She still loves Yoo-Hoo, she still uses notebooks to make plans. She still sculpts and she still knows how to fix most things around the house herself.

She doesn’t trust that families that look good are good anymore. She doesn’t just stand by when it seems like someone is hurting. She’ll fight like a dog to get someone out of a bad situation if she thinks she has any chance of being able to.

What happened to her family was horrible, and she misses them everyday, but she can’t change what happened. She hopes she can keep herself from losing more people the same way, however.

When it was first reported that Johnny Depp had been hit and pelted with crockery by his slight, blonde then wife, Amber Heard, I’m afraid my first reaction was disdain. Johnny and Amber recorded their rows on their mobile phones (as you do) and a ‘reliable source’ leaked the recording: ‘I was hitting you, it was not punching you,’ Amber says to Johnny. ‘Babe, you’re not punched.’ Then, exasperated: ‘You are such a baby. Grow the fuck up Johnny… I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you.’

At first my sympathies were with Amber. C’mon Johnny, c’mon Captain Jack Sparrow, can’t a lady throw a plate or two? Surely a slap, under provocative circumstances, is OK? The TV of my youth was full of ladies with shoulder pads slapping men. Barely a week went by on Dynasty without Joan Collins, as Alexis Carrington, clipping some cowering chap. Very satisfying it was too.

It’s worse for a man to hit a woman than the other way around. You might think you disagree — most millennials are bound to disagree — but think of Hollywood, that mirror of all our souls. Think of the hundreds of jolly romcoms in which the girl gets to swat the guy — he’s come on too strong maybe, or there’s a misunderstanding. No big deal. Now just imagine a romcom in which the male protagonist loses his rag and smacks his love interest.

A week after the recording was leaked, another window opened up into the Heard/Depp love nest; another demented recording found its way to the Mail, and after this one, the affair can be seen in a very different light. My whole gung-ho approach to women slapping men looks different and I’m having to rethink my prejudices, which is uncomfortable.

‘Tell the world, Johnny, tell them: I Johnny Depp, a man, I’m a victim too of domestic violence…’ This is Amber taunting Johnny, hissing at him, daring him to go public. ‘You’re bigger and you’re stronger. I was a 115lb woman… You’re going to get up on the stand, Johnny, and say “She started it’’? Really? Just see how many people believe or side with you.’ It was as if the whole drama suddenly changed genre, from a portrait of a rock’n’roll LA marriage into something more like Single White Female.

After recording two, I was not Team Amber anymore. Worse: I wasn’t even on my own team. Amber Heard was right. No one had thought to believe Johnny for a second, no one had questioned her version of events, not because she had a watertight case — but because she was a woman.

To understand how crazy that last recording is, you have to understand something of the history of the Depp/Heard affair. In the summer of 2016, after just a year of marriage, Amber accused Johnny of hitting her. She posted photos of her slightly bruised right eye on Instagram, and as she filed for divorce she took out a restraining order. There really wasn’t much in the way of evidence, but Amber looked the very picture of a 21st-century victim: beautiful, fragile, bravely out as pansexual. The world rallied round and anyone who even considered questioning Amber’s account of events was quickly labelled a misogynist.

Both Depp’s ex-wives seemed confused. Vanessa Paradis said: ‘In all these years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years.’ Depp’s first wife, Lori Anne Allison, agreed, saying he was a ‘soft person’. Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose Depp defended him too, and was attacked by Grazia magazine as a result: ‘Heard’s voice counts and our insidious, doubting voices do not.’

Johnny believes the furore caused him to lose his most lucrative gig, the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, and no one thought it unfair. I didn’t think it unfair, I simply assumed that Johnny was a cad. It never occurred to me or to the usual activists against abuse that Johnny could be the one who needed help. He’s a man, part of the patriarchy, how can he be a victim?

In 2015, just after Amber and Johnny tied the knot, the UK outlawed ‘coercive control’ — the attempt by one partner to bully and dominate another. But when the law was announced by Karen Bradley, the then minister for preventing abuse and exploitation, she made it quite clear who needed protecting: ‘No one should live in fear,’ she said, ‘which is why this government has made ending violence against women and girls a priority.’ In 2016, The Archers ran the story of timid Helen and Rob, her controlling husband, and for a while after that no women’s magazine was complete without a ten-point checklist: ‘How to tell if you’re dating a male narcissist.’ Diagnostic jargon spilled over from psychology into ordinary marital arguments, which was useful for a while. ‘Don’t gaslight me,’ I once said to my husband mid-row. It felt very empowering. ‘I’m not gaslighting you, I’m just disagreeing with you,’ he said. ‘There’s got to be a difference.’

I’m not suggesting that Amber has a personality disorder — who knows what the next episode of the Johnny and Amber show will reveal? He’s currently suing her for defamation and loss of earnings over the Pirates of the Caribbean affair. Amber says Depp is trying to ‘victim blame’ her and the recordings are being ‘twisted’.

But as we Archers fans know, it is textbook narcissist to accuse your partner of the crimes you yourself have committed — domestic violence, say — and to taunt them with the fact that no one will listen. It’s textbook narcissist to pose as the victim when in fact you’ve been the bully all along.

When your subconscious bias crumbles like a ton of bricks..... Kudos on her for being able to self-reflect.

Now she gets it!!!

The Ice Queen Chapter 4 of 4: Queen Vanessa

Snatcher felt almost physically ill as he watched Hat Kid exit back into the hallway where Vanessa was. She was doomed for sure, there was no way even she could stand up to Vanessa, she was insane for even thinking she could. And Snatcher had basically let her go out to her death. Not that trying to stop her would’ve been successful anyway but it was the attempt that counted, right?

Shivering from the cold still clinging to him from the ice and shaking with fear, he reached for the doorknob to open the door a crack. He couldn’t see much but he could hear what they were saying.

“… tried to kill you.” Vanessa’s voice was even more distorted with anger. “Why would you try to steal him from me?”

“First off,” Hat Kid answered, far too brave for her own good. Though that was partially his fault, wasn’t it? Who wouldn’t be cocky after completing all his Death Wish Contracts? “I’m not stealing him, I’m rescuing him; people aren’t property that can be stolen. Second, he’s my BFF now so of course I’m saving him. So you leave him alone you foul evil peck-neck bitch.”

Vanessa let out a wordless scream of frustration that was most likely accompanied by another blast of ice. There was a soft thump a second later. Hat Kid jumping to the side to dodge, right? Because there were no sounds to indicate she’d been hit. How long could she keep that up though? She was good at dodging, her small size helped a lot with that, but they were in a hallway. Not exactly a super narrow hallway but there was still only so much physical space she could dodge in. She’d get hit eventually for sure. And that would be the end of her; just another one of Vanessa’s victims turned into an ice statue.

And was Snatcher just going to sit here and listen to that happen? No, he’d almost rather die again than do that.

So, he pulled the door fully closed again and moved away, turning to face the rest of the room. It was Vanessa’s room. Last time he’d been in here, the guards had been ordered to drag him to… Nope, he was not going to think about that, didn’t have time to and no use dwelling on that trauma anymore when he had a whole new much more recent trauma to be shook up about.

He moved to the other door. Thankfully it was unlocked. It was… the damn nursery. He scowled at it before moving to the door that led back out to the hallway. He did not want to go out there while she was still there even if she had moved past the door now to close in on Hat Kid. As was part of Hat Kid’s dumb plan that was going to get them both killed, or her killed and Snatcher chained up in the cellar again – which he was not going to think about right now.

If he weren’t so drained and powerless, he would’ve gladly hopped out to throw his magic at her. But… her ice had drained every ounce of energy he’d managed to regain, leaving him just as weak if not weaker than before his stay in the cellar. Meaning he was helpless to defend himself against her or attack but… he’d told the kid he’d try and she wasn’t leaving any choice in the matter. Besides, if he did nothing, that would guarantee Hat Kid’s death, he couldn’t do that after she’d saved him from the cellar.

So… bracing himself he opened the door and poked his head out. Thankfully, Vanessa’s back was to him, she was focused on Hat Kid, throwing blast after blast of ice magic at her, coating the hall in a layer of ice that would be Hat Kid’s downfall if she wasn’t careful and slipped on it. Despite that though, Hat Kid was dodging like a champ; jumping, ducking, throwing herself to the left or right, all somehow without losing her footing. She was really quite something. Hopefully her plan would work.

Snatcher summoned a single potion to float by his head. He aimed and threw right at her hunched shadowy back. It exploded with a puff of blue smoke as it hit her. The potion in the beaker that wasn’t part of that puff splashed on her, covering her in blue. Shrieking, she snapped around to face him. “How dare you!” She lifted a hand to shoot ice at him.

Moving faster than he possibly ever had before, in life or death, Snatcher jolted back into the room, slamming the door closed with him. He heard the ice hit the door though, far too close for comfort. He locked it because even though she could undoubtedly get in if she really tried. She had the kid to contend with though so she should be rather busy.

It took all of Hat Kid’s self-control not to react when she spotted Snatcher poking his head out from the door leading to the nursery. As soon as he threw the potion, hitting Vanessa and dousing her in the blue potion, making her turn around, Hat Kid dashed forward. She whacked Vanessa in the back with the umbrella as hard she possibly could.

Unlike last time Hat Kid had hit her with the umbrella, Vanessa squawked and almost fell. Whatever was in those blue potions sure was something, she was going to have to find out what it was that did that one day. Now certainly was not the time though as Vanessa was already recovering, snapping around to blast more ice. At such close range, Hat Kid barely managed to avoid it. Dodging to the side of Venessa let her get another whack in though before jumping to dodge a clawed swipe. Being that close to Vanessa was torture, the ringing, the pressure… if only she had a ranged weapon too that wasn’t tied to her hat. After this she was going to invest in one.

“How dare you hit me?” Vanessa demanded, outraged, her voice a shrill shriek that hurt Hat Kid’s ears.

“How dare you be such a peck-neck bitch?” Hat Kid replied which only made her angrier as she shrieked wordlessly again and renewed her assault.

And suddenly Hat Kid was too busy focusing on dodging to make anymore quips. She had managed to get Vanessa to turn around though so her back would be to the bedroom door now, hopefully opening her up to another attack from Snatcher.

Unfortunately, with how relentless Vanessa was attacking, there was no room for Hat Kid to get another hit in. After completing all the Death Wish contracts, she could keep this dodging up for a long time though. But all it would take was one single slip up and it’d be over and could she outlast Vanessa? There was no way to know but… she doubted it. If only they were in a more open area… but they weren’t so she’d just have to make do.

Hat Kid was getting uncomfortably close to being pushed back to the staircase, leading down – falling down them right now would have far worse consequences than it normally would – when down the hall, Snatcher poked out from the bedroom door again. He threw another potion at Vanessa’s back and a vase.

Both hit and she shrieked again like a spoiled brat. Even before she’d finished turning around to attack Snatcher, Hat Kit was already rushing in to whack the back of her knees with the umbrella. She crumbled, landing on her hands and knees. Right where Hat Kid wanted her. She swung the umbrella again, aiming for the head to knock her out or at least stun her. Before making contact though, Vanessa’s hand shot up to grab it, ice instantly forming where her clawed hand wrapped around it.

This close, Hat Kid could sort of see her face now despite the distortion and the shadows. It was heavily wrinkled and twisted with hate and anger. It was… pathetic really. She was just an angry old hateful woman, her beauty long gone, her youth wasted.

Vanessa yanked on the umbrella, breaking that brief spell. Hat Kid didn’t let go, it was her umbrella and only weapon. She yanked back instead hard enough to unbalance the old woman on the ground before her even more. She was just a frail old lady, how had Hat Kid ever feared her?

Suddenly cold bit into her hands; the ice on the umbrella had spread them. Uh oh! She tried to let go but… it was too late; her hands were stuck.

Vanessa grinned, her teeth old and rotting, her breath foul. Still holding the umbrella to keep Hat Kat close, she raised her other hand from the floor, twisting in a way no old woman easily should. Was this the end? The mistake Hat Kid made that finally got her killed? She’d failed?

A large chair slammed down on top of Vanessa. It broke with a loud crash and a crunch underneath it that might’ve been another part of the chair or possibly Vanessa’s bones, it was hard to tell which.

Vanessa’s grip on the umbrella gone, Hat Kid stumbled back, falling onto her bottom. She looked up to see Snatcher. He’d come to her rescue with a chair. He hadn’t even thrown it, he’d just straight picked it up and whacked Vanessa with it. With how noodly his arms were she wouldn’t have guessed he was physically capable of that.

“I thought I told you not to get hit kiddo,” he said, his voice strained with exhaustion and possibly something else, like worry perhaps?

“I wasn’t.” Hat Kid tried to stand back up but with her hands still frozen to the iced over umbrella it was hard. She technically hadn’t been hit though.

“You were two seconds away from getting hit kid. And I can tell you from experience that being frozen is the opposite of fun.” And unlike him, it’d have been the death of her.

“But anyway,” he continued before she could cut in the thank him. “She’s dead.” Grinning wide, he pointed at Vanessa and the broken chair laying on top of her. The ringing in Hat Kid’s ears was an aftereffect now and the distortion effect around Vanessa was gone, revealing more of her broken withered form. Without her magic, she really was nothing more than an old frail hag. “I didn’t know that was possible.”

He started laughing. Unlike the laughter Hat Kid had heard from him numerous times before, it wasn’t for show and thus lacked the drama and volume of his usual laugh. It had more than a tinge of desperation and relief too. It was the kind of laugh that sounded like it could easily morph into tears of relief. So, safe from the witch at last, Hat Kid didn’t interrupt him.

He eventually let it all out of though as he sagged heavily against the wall. Hat Kid had never seen him look so exhausted and worn out before. But this wasn’t exactly a good place to rest even if Vanessa was finally dead.

So, Hat Kid got herself to her feet again. She took a deep breath as she swung the umbrella into the wall, shattering the ice encasing it and her hands. It was painful but better than dealing with having her hands stuck to the umbrella until they got to a place they could melt the ice.

“You ready to leave?” she asked as she slipped the umbrella back under her cloak so she could flex her hands.

He jolted a bit and turned his head to look at her. “Yeah, let’s get out of here. I hate this place.”

Hat Kid lead the way down hall, trusting Snatcher to follow. She was exhausted and cold; she wanted a nap under a warm blanket more than anything. She couldn’t even imagine how he must be feeling. “Thank you for helping me and for saving me at the end there,” she said as they ascended the stairs.

“You’re thanking me? I’m pretty sure it should be the other way around here kiddo.”

At the top of the stairs, she stopped to turn and smile at him. “Instead of staying to help fight, you could’ve run away. If you hadn’t helped, both with the blue potion and the chair at the end there when she had me, I would’ve been a goner for sure. So thank you.” Now it was his turn to thank you back. Unless he wanted to be a grump about it.

“Yeah, I uh… guess you’re right. I only helped because I…” He scowled before letting out a resigned sigh. “You know what, fine, whatever. I…couldn’t let you die after you saved me. I owe you big. If you hadn’t come for me I would’ve been…” he trailed off with a look of horror that he quickly banished. “Thanks kid, I appreciate it more than I can put into words.”

She stepped closer to hug him. He stiffened for a moment as if he might push her away again but relaxed a second later. He even patted her on the head a little. And he let her hug him until she satisfied and pulled back.

Wordlessly, they continued on to the attic and out the window. Hat Kid beamed them back up to the ship, grateful for the warmth as soon as they appeared in her bedroom.

“You can rest in the pillow pool,” she said pointing to it. “I uh… really need some rest too.” She mostly just wanted to bundle up under a blanket for a while. “After a quick nap I’ll go back to the forest to let everyone know that your safe and that the bitch is dead.” And then possibly come back here for more napping, depending on how she felt. “It’s warm and cozy here so you can rest here for however long it takes for you to recover, okay?”

“Yeah,” Snatcher said with a sigh as he moved over to the pillow pool and fell backwards into it. “Thanks again.”

Hat Kid hummed acknowledgement as she turned off the light before she crawled into bed though… “And thank you for the ghost costume, it’s super cool, I love it.”

“Yep, that’s the point, you earned it kiddo.”

Hat Kid would’ve liked to talk more about it and the pride (?) she heard in Snatcher’s voice there, but she was way too tired. “Good night,” she said instead as she crawled into bed.

“’Night,” Snatcher replied, the last thing she heard before drifting off.

Hey—got any angsty headcannons for Moonjumper? 🌙

Oh heck yeah! Guy’s got angst potential when he was evil, and once he’s reformed! (And I’ll separate the two, so we don’t get confused ;3)

(Slightly creepy and angsty HCs under the cut, so beware! Make sure to read the tw tags first!)

Evil Moonjumper (Past):

Back when he and Snatcher were fighting, believe it or not, he used to not be so nice. In fact, he was almost completely unhinged. He was locked up in Vanessa’s basement much longer than Snatcher (as Snatcher managed to escape, since he was only a shadow before he manifested). And once Moonjumper escapes, only to find his kingdom being ruled by a “tyrant”? Needless to say, it got ugly pretty fast.

Moonjumper was very upset when he found out that “his subjects” (a.k.a-the Subconites, Dwellers, etc.) where following the orders of someone else. He deemed them as all “traitors”, cursing them all for not saving him from his icy prison. So, the most logical thing to do in that situation? Why, attack the Subcon Village of course! (And Snatcher is still not happy about that, and will never let Moon live that down)

And when I say “attack”, I mean he just fricking killed and kidnapped most of the villagers (excluding the ones that manged to escape, of course). However, Moonjumper didn’t get to go too far into his little killing spree, as Snatcher eventually found out and went it to stop Moon. But Moon disappeared before they could actually fight, taking his small group of prisoners with him back to his part of the forest.

What he did to those few Subconites and Dwellers? Well…some of them were badly injured, so he had to stitch up a few of their injuries (reattach some of the Subconites’ limbs and fix whatever left of the Dwellers’ masks), and it wasn’t exactly a painless process. Some of them he fixed up good as new! And others he got a little…“experimental”, let’s just say.

And what I mean by that is, he basically tried out a whole “mad doctor” situation at one point. He took a handful of the more badly beaten Subconites he had (while kidnapping a few more along the way), and tested to see what would happen if he stitched them all together. The end result? A horrifying, brainwashed Subconite amalgamation that he sent after Snatcher. And unfortunately, Snatcher couldn’t save the Subconites, so he had to put them out of their misery.

Being brainwashed and controlled by Moonjumper is not nearly as simple as it sounds. Whenever his strings control another person it hurts and, depending on how much the person is willing to submit, can possibly kill whatever victim Moon has strung up (that is, if Moonjumper loses his patience with them, and he tries not to do that on purpose). But this is only if Moon is doing so forcefully. Brainwashing is even worse, with Moonjumper torturing his victims until they succumb to his way of thinking.

Reformed Moonjumper (Present):

Even now, Moonjumper can still say and do a lot of creepy stuff. He still has some of that old “bad guy charm”, even though he technically been reformed by Hat Kid. But that doesn’t stop him from threatening the people he doesn’t like when HK isn’t around. This can include him glaring evilly, making the “cut throat” motion, and/or even kidnapping someone if he’s feeling upset enough.

Do him and Snatcher still get into fights? You bet they do! Usually, it’s nothing more than a simple argument. But, if Snatcher provokes Moon enough, Moon will go absolutely mad and attack Snatcher. And since they’re both ghosts, their fights can get much more risky. Moon doesn’t have to turn Snatcher blue to hurt him, and will gladly introduce Snatcher to his shining blade.

While he has given Snatcher a few good blows in their more violent fights, he’s usually the one that takes the brunt of things. He’ll end up with various cuts and bruises, and most likely a scorched jacket after the battle. And Moon will make sure to patch things up later, stitching up any major wounds he may have. The worst he’s ever gotten from Snatcher was a huge gash across the chest, plus a couple scratches near his cheek and eyes, but other than that he’s fine afterward. But even though he can patch himself up…that doesn’t mean he does have a few lasting scars under his jacket and shirt. Some are from Snatcher, while the others…well, you can take a guess (Hint: It might have something to do with Vanessa).

Moon is disgusted by the fact that Snatcher eats souls. He acts absolutely mortified whenever Snatcher gobbles them down each time. And yet, Moon was actually quite close to getting hooked on souls himself. In the past, Moon was tempted to try and eat a soul, to gain more power to somehow defeat Snatcher in battle. But once Moon found out that you have to eat them straight up, while they are still screaming and squirming in your grasp, that was enough to permanently ruined his appetite for souls. He just offers Snatcher whatever souls he finds whenever Snatcher’s feeling especially hungry.

Moonjumper still has a few of his unfortunate victims from the past in his part of the forest, although he isn’t quite aware of it. Whenever Moon wanted to save some of his previous “experiments” or “puppets”, he cocooned them in his red strings and tied them up in the trees for safekeeping. But now he’s pretty much forgotten that they’re there, as he kidnapped so many of them back in the old days. He freed most of them, by Snatcher’s order, and yet there might still be more hanging around…

He freaks out whenever he’s tied up against his will, or locked up in a small area. Claustrophobia? Perhaps…then again it might be the fact that it brings back a few unpleasant memories. It reminds him too much of back when he was trapped in Vanessa’s cellar. It took him years before he could finally escape from that dreadful place. Not to mention that after he escaped and the whole rivalry with Snatcher began, Snatcher had trapped him in “The Horizon” for another good few years. And “The Horizon”, in my mind, was not just the sky and stars above. It was another dimension all together, that took even longer for Moon to escape from. So yeah, needless to say he hates the feeling of being trapped in any way, shape, or form.

1) his remnant was being pulled into the building by Charlie. She didn't want him to escape if she couldn't get to him first. She's always had some form of control over him (due to the fact that she was the one who tied her own remnant to his in order for his punishment). He wasn't physically rescricted but the closer he got to the buildings perimeter, the more painful of a burn he felt insoxe and the harder it was to move

1.5) william merely escaped out of pure luck. There was a glitch in The Loop as his backup remnant inside the chip inserted into Help Wanted pulled him from Purgatory. The process was extremely painful and left him extremely weak and unstable. Whatever Remnant he has left was in a comatose state for a few days to recover and heal. He actually didn't know what happen or where he was for a while until the game was almost complete anf he saw his remnant in the game code.

2) Vanessa "Vanny" Quartz was originally just a beta tester you begin with. There was only rumors of something left behind but no one believed anyone since every story was different. Since she was already not so innocent in my AU, she helped him gather more remnant from her own victims to give him more strength as well as collecting the various tapes (said tapes were seperated from each other to scatter more of his remnant) until he was able to escape. My Vanny wasn't reluctant at all so William saw no real need to possess her so he instead possessed her phone after she hooked it up to the computer systems and took him from the game. He leaned by literally destroying hisself, he can escape any electronic device and enter the real world.

Caught up on 3 weeks of Emmerdale that I’ve been avoiding. Haha. I definitely needed that 3 week break though because I was not ready to just move on from Robert that first week after he left. And binge watching it all way after the fact makes it a lot more palatable and certain parts of it less painful because I’d seen all the Aaron stuff in gifs already and I’d already gotten a lot of my frustrations out about all that.

Of everything from these last three weeks, I think I’ve enjoyed the Lydia stuff the most. I mean I hate the thought of them giving her a ticking time bomb of an eventual death sentence with this Huntington’s thing but I think it’s great that they’re expanding her family and giving her more focus. It’s hard to believe that she started out as a bit part grief counselor that Jimmy met for a comedy plot. She’s become such a great character since then and it’s so nice to see.

I also enjoyed the general teen focus. I mean, the Sarah/Danny stuff is really kind of random and I don’t really know where they’re going with all of that but I like that her need to experience more of life has given the teens more to do. And I like her and Noah hanging out and him sort of trying to look out for her. And Samson having something to say about it all. It’s been really nice seeing Gabby again. I’ve missed her. I hope they do give her a real storyline again some day but until then, it’s nice seeing her in a background and supporting role. I like her actually being friends with Leanna now and I’ve liked seeing her and Leanna and Dee Dee altogether even if Dee Dee’s accent still drives me insane. Haha.

I wasn’t sure what the Jacob stuff was going to be like from the live blogging I’ve been reading but it wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it would be. I mean, boy still needs therapy badly because he’s clearly so messed up. But I’m glad Maya getting out did at least bring all of this stuff back up and give it a chance to escalate and arrive at some kind of attempt at closure. I still think it would have been better to do this months ago rather than letting it sit for this long but I’m glad it wasn’t dropped and that they built on everything that they’d done before with Priya too. I’m still not sure Jacob totally gets what Maya did to him but hopefully he’s at least starting to. I do agree that David’s methods were not the best and haven’t been since he found out because he should have gotten him help ages ago instead of leaving him to fend for himself and hoping he’d just get over it. I guess we’ll see where it goes from here. It does break my heart that he equates people being nice to him with wanting to have sex with him. That is not good.

I felt bad for Leanna in the whole thing but again, it was nice to have a focus on teen stories and let Gabby support her a bit and I liked Liv FINALLY being able to talk to people her own age and have coffee with Gabby and yell at Jacob. This is where Liv needs to be more often.

The Vanity break up stuff was interesting. I still don’t like that this break up came off the back of the casino job which seemingly came out of nowhere. The thing is that their break up addressed very real issues, which I believe that they would have. I liked that they tied in Vanessa’s visit with her mum and how she felt about Frank into how Vanessa feels about Charity doing all of her scheming. It’s just that I don’t think we got enough of that stuff before this to have this be some kind of payoff. They’ve been too lax with them. They haven’t been sharing as many scenes. They have sort of forgotten their wedding prior to it now being an excuse Charity was saving money. So even though the break up made a lot of sense for their characters in terms of the issues they were fighting about, I don’t think the build up was there. And certainly the fallout wasn’t. I kind of preferred them broken up and just being bad at it because they were still talking all the time. That’s the most interested in them I’ve been in them in a while. Although since there was zero build up to their break up drama, I’m not sure how it could have lasted much longer than it did considering that they kept having scenes together anyway and there was really not much stopping them getting back together. But I think they should have let it go on for way longer and tried to find something in there to make it worth while rather than just Charity swearing she’ll change. But who knows, maybe this won’t last and this was papering over the cracks and Charity will screw up again as she always does and then they’ll have a longer break up and they’ll get more out of it.

On a Cain and Moira front...god. Hahaha. I was cracking up at that scene where she was just trying so hard to find a reason why she had the affair. Because there wasn’t one. It was dumb. Haha. That story is still such a mess. I did like Moira and Laurel talking though. That was nice. I just really can’t stand watching Cain and Moira in scenes together right now. I hope they keep them apart for a good long while. I was glad to see Matty and Vic and Amy all speaking to each other because of this plot though. So I guess there’s that.

Everything involving Kerry is still awful. I can’t believe she’s just going to get away with all of this Frank stuff. And Amy too. I mean, there’s obviously a very real possibility it will all come out in the end. These things usually do. But then...many many people still don’t know who shot Robert. So...who knows. But it’s bad. I’m very done with Kerry. And I hope they don’t put her back with Dan because what’s the point? And if they don’t do that, why is she even there at all at this point? Amy at least is still a mostly viable character even though I still want the truth to come out for her too just so she can move on from that.

The Arthur/Archie stuff was...a thing. It’s a lot. I mean I don’t know that Arthur would really go quite that dark so suddenly but it’s an interesting concept. A little curious and a little scared of where it will go. But both kids are doing a good job with it. Also glad Jai and Laurel are back on track for the moment.

Graham and Rhona is umm...also a thing. Haha. It’s not terrible but he’s still so robotic it’s weird. Obviously not going to last though so who cares. It is what it is for now and it’s more tolerable than him hanging onto Kim.

Speaking of Kim, I have no idea why she’s taken a sudden interest in Nate. Or why she’d be giving him Wylie’s if that’s true. All so weird.

The Billy/Dawn stuff is cute. They’re very sweet together. Was it Billy that whacked Al over the head though? Cause that seems a bit extreme. I guess we’ll find out. I do like Marlon still getting involved in Billy stuff though. I’m glad they’re keeping that relationship alive.

Chas and Paddy are still pretty insufferable. I just really hate them together. Haha. I don’t get it. And I think it’s weird we don’t really see Paddy being a hands on dad. I mean I know the story was about Chas this past week with the feeding stuff but even still, we’ve barely seen him interacting with her. It’s weird. Especially for someone so intent on having a biological child. It’s really a shame how much they’ve ruined Paddy as a character for me over the last few years.

The car stuff with Cain and Aaron was pretty uninspiring. I agree with that assessment from my dash. It was more about Cain but it wasn’t even interesting from his point of view either. It felt really lazy. As far as Charity goes and whose fault it was. I’m kind on team no one. They were all in the wrong really. Charity shouldn’t be forcing her kids on people who can’t actually watch them and especially not two days in a row. And Cain and Aaron shouldn’t have been doing what they were doing. Also Chas was just sort of wrong altogether and she annoys me.

On the Aaron front...it did hurt way less so far after the fact to watch him smash up the photo and throw all of Robert’s stuff away. Although it hurt seeing him fold up the good two toned maroon jumper. You should keep that Aaron. It’s his best jumper. Wear it yourself. I’m still concerned the show isn’t going to give Aaron a proper emotional payoff in the end but oddly the random little scenes this past week gave me more hope for that than anything because he just looks so empty and like he’s going through the motions, apologizing to keep everyone else happy so his feelings aren’t inconveniencing them. I mean obviously we have those insane terrorizing Wendy spoilers so he is going to go further off the rails. I’m nervous how it’s all going to be framed on a Wendy front though.

On principle, I still hate that Wendy is around. And Luke. It just makes me uncomfortable that they’re still trying to show her as a good helpful person and portray her as a victim when she hasn’t even apologized to Vic for harassing her and calling her a liar. I’m kind of dreading everything coming up on that front. But I’ll probably just binge it all after the fact so maybe it won’t be so bad.

Summary: Hannah Pearson is a member of the Southside Serpents and Sweet Pea's girlfriend. After Southside High shuts down, she transfers to Riverdale High with the other Serpents.

This one-shot is set in an alternate universe where Jughead didn't break up with Betty after she did the Serpent dance, Jughead and Toni never kissed, the Black Hood got Betty to choose his victims but didn't make her end her relationship with Jughead and her friendship with Veronica, Archie and Veronica didn't break up and Veronica didn't start dating Reggie, Alice, Polly, Cheryl, Kevin, Toni, Fangs, and Principal Weatherbee never joined the Farm, the Farm never kidnapped Betty, Toni, Cheryl, and Fangs were never kicked out of the Serpents, the Pretty Poisons don't exist, Toni and Cheryl didn't break up, Jughead and the rest of the Serpents didn't start playing Gryphons and Gargoyles, FP and Alice never dated or had an affair, the Stonewall Prep storyline never happened, and Principal Honey was never hired.

On the Heathers casting sheet, which you can find on Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's Twitter page, Sweet Pea wrote the initials NM, and Fangs wrote the initials FF. Based on that, we can assume Sweet Pea's first name starts with the letter N and his last name starts with the letter M and Fangs' first name and last name start with the letter F. I chose the name Nathan Montgomery for Sweet Pea and the name Francis Fogarty for Fangs.

Jughead Jones led Toni Topaz, Sweet Pea, Hannah Pearson, Fangs Fogarty, and the rest of the Southside Serpents through the doors of Riverdale High School. Sweet Pea gripped Hannah's hand tightly as they walked down the hallway. Toni and Fangs walked beside Sweet Pea and Hannah, glaring at anyone who looked at them the wrong way.

The Serpents stopped walking when they saw the table that Veronica Lodge, her boyfriend, Archie Andrews, and Kevin Keller were standing behind.

Veronica smiled. "Friends! On behalf of the students and faculty here at Riverdale High, welcome to your new school! To ease this transition, I've set up a registration desk, where you can get your locker assignments, class schedules, and a list of sports and extracurriculars. We encourage each and every one of you to drink deeply from the cup that is fair Riverdale."

"Stand down, Eva Perón!" Cheryl Blossom yelled, walking down the stairs, followed by Reggie Mantle and a group of girls in blue and gold cheerleading uniforms.

Veronica sighed and looked at Jughead before facing Cheryl.

"There's the school spirit I so fondly remember," Jughead said sarcastically.

"Cheryl." Veronica acknowledged, glaring at the redheaded girl. "No one invited Fascist Barbie to the party."

"Wrong, Veronica. No one invited Southside scum to our school." Cheryl said, crossing her arms over her chest.

The Serpents tensed.

"Listen up, ragamuffins!" Cheryl yelled.

"Ragamuffins? What kind of insult is that?" Hannah asked.

Hannah was tall and slender. Her long brown hair was parted in the middle and styled in loose curls. She was wearing an unzipped black leather jacket with the Southside Serpents symbol on the back, an unbuttoned long-sleeved green and white plaid flannel shirt over a white tank top, dark blue denim jeans, and black combat boots with black laces. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour. She had a double-headed snake tattoo on her left arm, but it couldn't be seen underneath her jacket. She didn't have any other tattoos besides her Serpent tattoo. She didn't have any scars or birthmarks. She didn't have any piercings.

Hannah was 16 years old. She joined the Serpents when she was 15. She did her Serpent dance to Warrant's song Cherry Pie. She lost her virginity to a guy her age one night at a party shortly after she joined the Serpents. They weren't romantically involved. It was just a hookup, nothing more. At some point, she and Sweet Pea realized they were attracted to one another and started dating.

Cheryl looked at Hannah with raised eyebrows and then started speaking again. "I will not allow Riverdale High's above average GPA to suffer because of classrooms that are overcrowded with underachievers, so please do us all a favour and find some other school to debase with your hard-scrabble ways." She looked the Serpents up and down with a fake smile on her cherry red lips and held her hands together in front of her.

"Why don't you come over here and say that to my face?" Toni asked angrily, moving towards Cheryl. Jughead, Sweet Pea, Hannah, and Fangs followed her, ready to fight.

Cheryl got in Toni's face. "Happily, Queen of the Buskers."

"She is just asking to get her ass kicked," Hannah muttered to Sweet Pea. She was about to lunge at Cheryl, but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"Okay, guys, can we just put our differences aside and start over?" Archie stood in between Toni and Cheryl. Hannah's gaze went from being focused on Cheryl to being focused on him. "A clean slate?" He looked between Cheryl and the Serpents.

"You don't speak for the Bulldogs, Andrews, and need I remind you that these greaser snakes showed up at your place trying to kick your ass," Reggie said, giving Archie a pointed look.

"Happy to finish what we started." Sweet Pea threatened, shoving past Toni and moving towards Reggie. He stopped in his tracks when he felt Fangs and Jughead's arms hold him back.

Veronica stood in between Reggie and Sweet Pea, putting a hand on Sweet Pea's left arm. "I'm so over the toxic masculinity in this hallway right now," she said loudly, her voice full of annoyance.

"All right, that's enough pomp and circumstance! Everyone, get to class now!" Principal Weatherbee yelled.

Reggie backed off.

Veronica took her hand off of Sweet Pea's arm. He began to walk towards the staircase. Jughead shoved him, causing him to pick up the pace. He could make out the rustling of papers as he and the rest of the Serpents walked down the hallway.

"Stupid Northsiders," Sweet Pea grumbled.

"It's okay, babe. Everything will get better." Hannah said, rubbing Sweet Pea's arm and getting him to calm down. "And if it doesn't, we'll just kick their asses," she added. He laughed.

Hannah walked into the math classroom. Math was her last class of the day. Once the clock struck 3, she would be able to get on her motorcycle and go back to her trailer.

None of the other Serpents had math at this time of day besides Jughead, who was sitting next to a girl with fair skin, blue eyes, and long straight blonde hair tied up in a high ponytail wearing a white t-shirt, an unbuttoned pink cardigan, dark blue denim jeans, and beige ankle-length boots.

The girl was named Elizabeth Cooper. She was Jughead's girlfriend. Hannah met her at FP's retirement party. She was as sweet as apple pie and was one of the few Northsiders Hannah could stand to be around.

Hannah sat on the other side of Jughead and smiled at Betty. "Hey, Betty."

Betty smiled back. "Hey, Hannah."

The teacher wrote an equation on the whiteboard and explained it to the class.

Hannah listened intently while writing in her notebook. Despite what people like Cheryl and Reggie may think, she was actually pretty smart and cared about getting an education.

The clock struck 3, and Hannah left the classroom and walked out to the parking lot. She got on her motorcycle and drove to her trailer.

Betty laid in her bed, cell phone in hand, browsing Instagram. The name Hannah Pearson showed up in the list of suggested followers. She tapped on Hannah's profile picture and checked out her profile. Hannah had 99 posts and 85 followers and was following 100 people. At the top of the page, there were pictures of Hannah, a picture of Hannah's black Honda CB550 motorcycle, and a picture of the outside of the Whyte Wyrm.

Betty scrolled down the page and saw a close-up of the Serpent tattoo on Hannah's left arm, pictures of Hannah and Sweet Pea, and pictures of Hannah, Toni, and Fangs. She couldn't help but smile at how cute Hannah and Sweet Pea were together and how close Hannah and her friends were.

Betty hit the follow button. A few minutes later, she got a notification saying that Hannah had followed her.

A few weeks had passed since the Serpents transferred to Riverdale High. The Bulldogs and the Serpents had been in their fair share of fights, and Principal Weatherbee had banned the Serpents from wearing their leather jackets and showing their tattoos. Sweet Pea had to wear a turtleneck in order to cover his tattoo, much to the amusement of the rest of the Serpents.

Hannah was talking to Fangs in the student lounge. She stifled a laugh as Sweet Pea walked in. "You look great, babe."

Fangs turned around and burst into laughter.

Sweet Pea was wearing a white turtleneck underneath an unbuttoned blue and white plaid flannel shirt with long sleeves, dark blue denim jeans, and black combat boots with black laces.

"Shut the fuck up," Sweet Pea grumbled, making his way over to Hannah.

Hannah tried to conceal her smile. "It suits you."

Hannah was wearing a grey tank top underneath an unbuttoned red and grey plaid flannel shirt with long sleeves, dark blue denim jeans, and black ankle-length leather boots with silver studs on the buckles. Her long brown hair was styled in loose curls. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.

Fangs smiled. "Yeah. It...Um…It brings out the colour of your eyes."

Sweet Pea shoved Fangs.

"It's really not that bad. I've seen Fangs wear much worse." Hannah said.

"Hey!" Fangs exclaimed, offended.

Hannah kissed Sweet Pea. "You would look good in anything, I promise."

"Thanks, but that doesn't make me feel any better." Sweet Pea said.

"Are you guys busy tonight?" Fangs asked.

Sweet Pea shook his head. "No."

"Do you want to go see Love, Simon at the Bijou with me?" Fangs asked.

"I was going to invite Toni, but she's too busy trying to get with Cheryl Bombshell." Fangs rolled his eyes.

"Sounds like fun. We'll be there." Hannah told Fangs.

That night, Sweet Pea, Hannah, and Fangs arrived at the Bijou in Sweet Pea's truck. Sweet Pea held Hannah's hand as they walked in and found their seats.

Fangs nudged Sweet Pea and Hannah. "Guys, look."

Sweet Pea and Hannah turned around.

Toni was sitting next to Cheryl. She made a flirtatious comment, causing Cheryl to blush.

Hannah smiled. "Aww, how cute!"

Cheryl and Toni became a couple a few weeks after their date.

Principal Weatherbee lifted the ban on Serpent jackets and Serpent tattoos, and the Serpents started wearing their jackets to school again.

Betty and Jughead lost their virginity.

Hannah stood beside Sweet Pea, laughing at something stupid he had said. Fangs was on the other side of him. Jughead was in front of them. She looked around the park and saw Cheryl standing next to Toni and laughing. She smiled.

Jughead's father, FP Jones, whistled, getting the attention of the Serpents.

"Listen up, now! All right, listen up!" FP yelled.

"Some 60 years ago, the very first Serpent meeting took place on these same riverbanks. Now, it makes sense that this is where we gather now, where I…Where I say my goodbye. Jughead, would you step up here, son?" FP asked.

The crowd started muttering.

"What the fuck is going on?" Hannah whispered to Sweet Pea.

Hannah was wearing her black leather jacket with the Southside Serpents symbol on the back, an unbuttoned long-sleeved blue and black plaid flannel shirt over a black tank top, dark blue denim jeans, and black ankle-length leather boots with silver studs on the buckles. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour. Her hair was straight.

"I have no idea. To be honest, I thought we came here to get drunk and celebrate how far we've come." Sweet Pea said.

Hannah laughed.

Jughead walked towards FP.

"What are you doing?" Jughead mumbled.

"What I should have done a long time ago," FP muttered.

"I'm retiring from the Serpents." FP announced. The muttering got louder. "For real this time."

FP put his arm around Jughead's shoulder. "Now, my boy has never stopped fighting for this crew. Hell, he almost died for it." He turned to face his son. "That's why I'm giving you the mantle."

The crowd cheered. Sweet Pea hit Fangs, making him wince.

"And now, as your first official duty as Serpent King…" FP nodded to Toni, who made her way towards FP and Jughead and handed FP a red leather jacket with the Southside Serpents symbol on the back.

"I think you know what to do with this." FP handed the jacket to his son. Jughead smiled.

"All right, all right," Jughead muttered. "All I can say is…I love you, Dad. And the Serpents will not die out. Not on my watch."

The crowd cheered.

Cheryl walked towards Jughead, and they smiled at each other as he gave her the red leather jacket.

"Welcome to the Serpents, Cheryl." Hannah said.

Cheryl smiled at Hannah before making her way over to Toni and kissing her.

"One more thing." Jughead pulled out his cell phone. "We have a new Serpent Queen." He called Betty.

Fangs started dating a girl named Emma Walker.

Emma was a Northsider. She was on the cheerleading squad with Betty, Veronica, Cheryl, and Toni. There were no other Serpents on the cheerleading squad besides Toni.

Jughead finished writing Anatomy of a Murder, his book on Jason Blossom's death and the effect it had on the people of Riverdale. It made it to the top of the New York Times Best Seller list.

After their lunch date at Pop's, Sweet Pea and Hannah went back to his trailer.

Hannah walked into Sweet Pea's bedroom. Sweet Pea followed her. He shut the door.

Hannah took off her black combat boots, dark blue denim jeans, black t-shirt, and Serpent jacket, leaving her in just her black lingerie.

Sweet Pea left a trail of kisses on the side of Hannah's neck, rubbing his hands up and down her legs. Hannah groaned in pleasure, taking off Sweet Pea's clothes, leaving him in just his boxers.

Hannah straddled Sweet Pea's body as they laid on top of the bed. She kissed down his body, creeping closer to his boxers. Sweet Pea flipped them over so that he was on top. The two kissed each other all over as they made love.

Sweet Pea and Hannah collapsed on the bed next to each other.

"You up for round 2?" Sweet Pea asked.

Hannah rolled on top of Sweet Pea. "Definitely."

At the beginning of junior year, Hal and Alice got divorced, Emma and Fangs lost their virginity, Hiram and Hermione got divorced, FP became the sheriff of Riverdale, Veronica opened a speakeasy in the basement of Pop's, Cheryl lost her virginity to Toni, Hal and Hiram were sentenced to life in prison, Alice and FP's son, Charles Smith, shut down the Farm, Hermione got people to stop playing Gryphons and Gargoyles, burned every single copy of the player's handbook, and arrested the Gargoyle Gang, Gladys and Jellybean moved back to Toledo, Fangs' mother succumbed to her illness, Toni's grandfather died of old age, and Pop Tate died of old age.

After the fall of the Gargoyle Gang, a new gang arrived in Riverdale. They were called the Scorpions. Each member wore a black leather jacket with a big red scorpion on the back. They dealt drugs and street raced for sport, just like the Ghoulies had.

The Serpents and the Scorpions were enemies.

At the beginning of senior year, Fred died in a hit-and-run accident after stopping alongside the road to help a stranded motorist.

It was the night of the senior prom.

The dance was being held at the Five Seasons.

Veronica, Betty, Cheryl, Hannah, and Emma had gotten ready for the dance at Betty's house.

The limo Veronica had rented pulled into Betty's driveway.

Archie, Jughead, Toni, Sweet Pea, and Fangs stepped out of the limo and stood in the driveway, waiting for Veronica, Betty, Cheryl, Hannah, and Emma to step out of the house.

Archie was wearing a black suit, a white dress shirt, a black necktie, and black dress shoes with black laces.

Jughead was wearing a black suit, a white dress shirt, a black necktie, and black dress shoes with black laces. His beanie rested on top of his head.

Toni was wearing black high-heeled sandals and a strapless black dress with a floor-length skirt. The sweetheart neckline showed a hint of cleavage. Her long brown hair with pink highlights was styled in loose curls. The curls were pushed out of her face but still left to fall down her back. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a light shade of berry pink.

Sweet Pea was wearing a black suit, a white dress shirt, a black necktie, and black dress shoes with black laces. The first two buttons of his shirt were undone. His Serpent tattoo was on full display.

Fangs was wearing a black suit, a white dress shirt, a black necktie, and black dress shoes with black laces.

Archie's jaw dropped when he saw Veronica walking towards him. "Wow. You look stunning."

Veronica was wearing navy blue high-heeled sandals and a navy blue floor-length dress. It was strapless and had a sweetheart neckline. The neckline showed a hint of cleavage. The top was folded pieces of soft fabric, and the bottom billowed when she walked, giving her the appearance that she was flying. A small silver chain with a tiny diamond hung low on her chest. Her shoulder-length wavy black hair was in an elegant updo, leaving her neck bare. Her brown eyes were framed by long dark lashes, her lips were plum and shiny, and her cheeks were rosy.

Veronica smiled and gave Archie a peck on the lips. "Thank you, Archie."

Archie walked towards the limo. Veronica walked beside him. He held the door open and took her by the hand, helping her get in the backseat.

Jughead's jaw dropped when he saw Betty walking towards him. "Wow. You look incredible."

Betty was wearing pale pink high-heeled sandals and a pale pink dress with a floor-length skirt and a sweetheart neckline that turned into off-the-shoulder sleeves. The neckline showed a hint of cleavage. A small silver chain with a tiny diamond hung low on her chest. Her long blonde hair was styled in barrel curls. The curls were pushed out of her face but still left to fall down her back. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, soft pink eyeshadow, and nude lip gloss.

Betty smiled and gave Jughead a peck on the lips. "Thank you, Jughead."

Jughead walked towards the limo. Betty walked beside him. He held the door open and took her by the hand, helping her get in the backseat.

Toni's jaw dropped when she saw Cheryl walking towards her. "Wow. You look beautiful."

Cheryl was wearing red high-heeled sandals and a red dress with spaghetti straps, a v-neck, and a floor-length skirt with a slit in the right side that reached the middle of the thigh and revealed her right leg. The neckline showed a hint of cleavage. A small silver chain with a tiny diamond hung low on her chest. Her long red hair was styled in barrel curls. The curls were pushed out of her face but still left to fall down her back. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft pink eyeshadow. Her lips were cherry red.

Cheryl smiled and gave Toni a peck on the lips. "Thank you, Toni."

Toni and Cheryl walked towards the limo. Toni held the door open and took Cheryl by the hand, helping her get in the backseat.

When Sweet Pea saw Hannah walking towards him, his jaw dropped. "Wow. You look amazing."

Hannah was wearing green high-heeled sandals and a green dress with a v-neck, two spaghetti straps criss-crossing over the open back, and a floor-length skirt. The neckline showed a hint of cleavage. The sides of the dress were cut out, exposing a teasing fraction of skin. Her Serpent tattoo was on full display. Her long brown hair was styled in loose curls. The curls were pushed out of her face but still left to fall down her back. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.

Hannah smiled and gave Sweet Pea a peck on the lips. "Thank you, Sweet Pea."

Sweet Pea walked towards the limo. Hannah walked beside him. He held the door open and took her by the hand, helping her get in the backseat.

When Fangs saw Emma walking towards him, his jaw dropped. "Wow. You look gorgeous."

Emma was tall and slender with fair skin and blue eyes. She was wearing lavender high-heeled sandals and a strapless lavender dress with a sweetheart neckline, an open back, and a floor-length skirt that flared at the hips with a small train. The neckline showed a hint of cleavage. Her long brown hair was styled in barrel curls. The curls were pushed out of her face but still left to fall down her back. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft pink eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty coral pink colour.

Emma smiled and gave Fangs a peck on the lips. "Thank you, Fangs."

Fangs walked towards the limo. Emma walked beside him. He held the door open and took her by the hand, helping her get in the backseat.

The limo drove down the road.

2:00 p.m.

It was graduation day.

The ceremony was being held in the auditorium. The graduates were sitting in the first row. They were clad in blue graduation gowns and blue graduation caps with gold tassels. The guests were sitting a little farther back.

Betty was the valedictorian. She walked up to the podium and gave a speech.

"Have you ever read a good book or a good story, and when you're on the final chapter and the final page, you feel a sadness you can't explain?"

"Sometimes, if you're lucky, the story or book will have an epilogue or a sequel. I stand here before you, my fellow graduates, to tell you that although this chapter in our lives has ended, the story is far from over."

"We are all still so young. We have time to fall in and out of love and to make mistakes. We still have the opportunity to fail and succeed and to change our minds like we change our clothes. There are tears of sadness running down some of your faces. Why? This isn't the end. This is the beginning of something amazing."

"For some of you, maybe it's college. Maybe it's your dream job. Maybe it's getting married and starting a family. Or maybe it's finally accepting who you are and not being afraid of who you could turn out to be."

"Just promise me one thing. Don't forget what these past few years have brought to your life. Don't forget about the people that taught you all about friendship, bravery, and courage. Don't forget about the smiles and frowns, the laughter and tears, and the breakups and makeups. Don't run from your mistakes. Learn from them and embrace them. I wish you all the happiness in the world. I can't think of a group of people that deserve it more."

Thunderous applause followed Betty's speech.

Betty returned to her seat.

Principal Weatherbee announced that diplomas were going to be handed out. He started calling names.

"Archibald Andrews."

Archie made his way towards the stage. He shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking his diploma back to his seat.

A few more names were called.

"Cheryl Blossom."

Cheryl made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.

A few more names were called.

"Elizabeth Cooper."

Betty made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.

A few more names were called.

"Francis Fogarty."

Fangs made his way towards the stage. He shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking his diploma back to his seat.

A few more names were called.

"Forsythe Pendleton Jones III."

Jughead made his way towards the stage. He shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking his diploma back to his seat.

A few more names were called.

"Veronica Lodge."

Veronica made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.

Sweet Pea made his way towards the stage. He shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking his diploma back to his seat.

"Hannah Pearson."

Hannah made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.

Toni made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.

A few more names were called.

Emma was the last to graduate. She made her way towards the stage. She shook hands with Principal Weatherbee and the superintendent of the school board before taking her diploma back to her seat.

Principal Weatherbee addressed the crowd. "Everyone, please rise."

The crowd stood up.

Principal Weatherbee turned to the graduates and said, "Graduates, please move your tassels from right to left."

The graduates did as they were told.

"Congratulations to the Riverdale High School class of 2019!" Principal Weatherbee exclaimed.

The graduates threw their caps in the air.

Sword Art Online: Alicization: War of Underworld (Alicization Exploding) EP#34 (10) - Stacia, the Goddess of Creation: After Stacia (Asuna) created 3 ravines to swallow up Vassago, and his knights, as well as to cut off the Pugilists and the remaining Dark Knights from the decoy force, she descends and introduces herself as Asuna to the somewhat intimidated force. Due to her fluctlight being overloaded from the terrain change, Asuna experiences a headache and remembers that repeated use of the ability can cause damage to her fluctlight. After formalities, she proceeds to visit Kirito's tent. Upon seeing him, she is filled with tearful joy. Hearing Asuna's voice, Kirito is clearly shocked. Even in a state of catatonic, he attempts to reach out to her, with a face full of tears, Asuna responds with a long-awaited hug. Shortly after, Alice appears and interferes with their reunion. They meetup to discuss what the enemy is after. Later in the night, Ronie, Alice, Asuna, and Sortiliena share Kirito stories with each other.

Fortunately, they succeeded in getting the job done. Endeavor told Shoto how proud he will become a hero he can be proud as well. As September ends, October begins, and the U.A. students attend Sir Nighteye's funeral along with the pro heroes. Eri has also woken up at the hospital, but since she is not yet emotionally stable, no one can visit her. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind EP#19 - White Album: White Album's ice surrounds the car in the canal, but Giorno manages to transform some car parts into grass for Mista to use as a makeshift snowboard. Ghiaccio attempts to stop him by temporarily unfreezing the canal, but Giorno reverts the grass into car parts again so that Mista can fire a metal projectile into Ghiaccio's forehead. However, Ghiaccio's armor is bulletproof, excepting a small breathing hole on the back of his neck. Mista attempts to shoot into the hole, but Ghiaccio uses an ability he calls White Album Gently Weeps to freeze parts of the air solid, causing the bullet to ricochet until eventually hitting Mista's chest. Ghiaccio finds a statue which contains the data disc and shatters it. Giorno inspires Mista to allow himself to be shot by his own ricocheting bullets; this allows him to use his blood to block Ghiaccio's vision and force him onto a broken lamp-post, impaling him through the neck. Ghiaccio attempts to protect himself by freezing his blood while also reflecting a bullet towards Mista's head, but Giorno steps in, immediately heals Mista's wound, and forces Ghiaccio further onto the metal with repeated kicks, killing him. Giorno then heals Mista's injuries.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Natagumo Mountain Arc EP#21 - Against Corps Rules: As Rui dies, he is finally able to remember his human life. He was born with a frail body, rendering him bedridden - until Kibutsuji took pity on him and turned him into a demon, giving him a strong body. His father then tried to kill him while his mother did nothing, so Rui slew them both, thinking they weren't his real parents as parents were supposed to protect their children. His mother's last words were that she was sorry she couldn't give Rui a strong body, and his father had intended to commit suicide after killing him. He realizes too late it was a genuine bond after all, which traumatized him. Kibutsuji returned and told him it was his parents' fault for not accepting him and Rui accepted that rather than the truth. He missed his real parents so much he suppressed the memory of them, but was never satisfied with his fake family. Tanjiro regains consciousness as Rui's body collapses just before reaching him and Nezuko. Overwhelmed by the scent of grief he detected from it, Tanjiro reaches out to Rui. Rui apologizes to his parents as he fades away, his spirit able to reunite with his parents. Giyū steps on Rui's clothing after his body dissolves, and Tanjiro pleads with him not to, explaining that he will kill demons without hesitation but believes they are more tragic than terrifying creatures. Giyū suddenly recognizes Tanjiro and Nezuko from their meeting two years ago. Shinobu runs towards them and Tanjiro shields Nezuko with his body as Giyū blocks Shinobu's blade from striking Nezuko's neck, surprising her when he takes a defensive stance in front of the siblings. Giyū tells him to take Nezuko and run while he holds off Shinobu, which Tanjiro does. Tanjiro is suddenly kicked to the ground by Kanao Tsuyuri, the girl who completed Final Selection with Tanjiro, one of Shinobu's clanmates. Tanjiro tells Nezuko to run, only to be knocked unconscious by Kanao, who then tries to kill a fleeing Nezuko. Giyū has pinned Shinobu, who warns him he is acting against Corps rules. Kasugai crows, who had been watching, interrupt everyone by saying Tanjiro and Nezuko were to be taken into custody and brought back to headquarters, so Kanao, Giyū, and Shinobu all sheathe their blades. Inosuke is found, but seethes to himself as he couldn't do anything to stop a demon, and begins to ponder on the reality of his strength. Zenitsu and the other victims of the elder son, even those now spiders, have been treated by the Kakushis, a cleanup unit of the Corps, and are to be brought to the Butterfly Mansion for further treatment. The sun rises at last. Tanjiro later awakens, tied up, before the Hashiras, the lead swordsmen of the Demon Slayers.

Food Wars: The Second Plate Totsuki Autumn Election Arc EP#34 - A New Jewel: Soma presents his dish's missing element, a white soup made from soy milk that turns the dish into a creamy porridge, enhancing the already existing flavors. Meanwhile, Satoshi, deducing that Eizan was the one who drove Mimasaka to provoke Soma, tells him that it is Soma's drive to never give up that got him so far. As the judges deliberate, Hayama recalls how Jun brought him out of the slums and helped him become the chef he is. With originality being the deciding factor between the three dishes, Hayama is declared the winner of the Autumn Elections. Afterwards, Soma speaks with Joichiro, stating his determination to continue finding his own way of cooking. A few days later, Soma hangs out with Hayama and Kurokiba while Jun explains the Stagiaire training program for first year students to the three of them.

Black Clover: Elf Tribe Reincarnation Arc EP#110 - The Raging Bull Joins the Showdown!!: Rhya reveals that he created new artificial bodies for Fana and Vetto to reincarnate into. The Apostles of Sephira, ten elves capable of receiving divine revelations, begin opening a door to the underworld, named the Shadow Palace, which was sealed under Clover Castle years ago by ancient elves and humans. Baval explains this will make the reincarnations permanent while the human souls will all be sent to the underworld. To protect the Apostles the remaining elves decide to kill everybody but are stopped by the timely arrival of Asta, the other Bulls and the base and most of the elves are completely overwhelmed. Patry determines Rouge poses the most danger and sends the elf Reve, possessing Coral Peacock Captain Dorothy Unsworth, to deal with her. Reve casts a spell that teleports Vanessa, Rouge, Luck, Magna, Charmy and Sally to an inescapable dream world, removing the Bulls most powerful defensive fighters. Droit and Patry destroy the base. Rades and Valtos chase after Patry while Henry loses control and starts draining everyone's magic. Noelle's armour disappears as her magic runs out. Yami and Jack chase the Apostles into the Shadow Palace. Eclat casts a spell that binds, paralyses and drains the magic of the remaining Bulls, but the spell is nullified by Asta. Droit identifies Asta's new sword as Licht's Demon-Destroyer Sword. The Bulls, despite being irritated by the real Gauche's personality, swear they will return him to normal.
