MISTAKEN IDENTITY
A/N: I'm gonna warn you ahead of time, this is gonna be unhinged as fuck. Just stay with me ok. There's not enough fics about Noah Wyle characters (I was the bitch complaining about it like three days ago), so I'm gonna start mashing shit together so I can enjoy them all.
Very "Marvel What If?" ish, if that makes sense. So, here we go.
WHAT IF... Aliens took over the world while John Carter was working as an ER attending at County General and this all happened while his friend from residency, Jack Abbot, came to visit him between deployments, and he meets you but you confuse him for your husband Tom Mason? [aka I’m taking John Carter and shoving him into the Falling Skies universe, but because I know The Pitt better than ER I’m mixing up the staff at County General with Pitt characters] [aka aka I saw a pictures of Noah Wyle and Shawn Hatosy in an apocalypse AU and it altered my DNA]
John Carter x F!Reader; mentioned Tom Mason x F!Reader
Warnings: cursing, mentions of death and destruction, the world ended, uhhh description of mild injuries, that's really it for this one

The world ended.
It happened suddenly, without warning, and it came from the sky. The fucking sky. Carter never spent a lot of time wondering how the world would end. If someone had forced him to guess though, aliens would’ve been very, very low on the list. Thinking back, he was pretty sure the staff once held a bet about the end of the world. Somebody had bet on aliens, but Carter couldn’t remember who. Maybe Jerry? Whoever it was earned a hell of a pretty penny.
Not that money mattered anymore.
Carter peered around the tipped over car he was hiding behind. There wasn’t any motion he could see, but there was still skittering in the distance. Too close for comfort. He locked his jaw and rechecked his weapon. He still hadn’t gotten used to the weight of a gun in his hands. Prior to the end of the fucking world, he had never held one before. A shotgun for skeet shooting, sure, but this was different.
The sound of steps grew more pronounced. Carter stiffened where he sat. Every muscle freezing as his breath caught in his throat. He had only gone head-to-head with the aliens a few times. Hell, he could count the encounters on one hand. Obviously, Carter considered himself lucky to be able to claim that, but the doctor in him was still curious. The anatomy alone was so unusual. A head that reminded him of a sea creature, maybe a squid, a torso similar to humans with only two arms, but connected to six legs with tripod-like feet.
Roaches. Skitters. Cooties. They had all sorts of names. Some more clever than others.
Shuffling became more pronounced, only a few feet away, and Carter peered around the car once more, this time with his gun raised and ready. His aim landed on Abbot who huffed in response. His friend looked worse for wear. His wavy, brown hair messier than usual and his features still showcased the highlights from the last brawl he was in—a busted lower lip and dark bruising under his right eye. Unlike himself, Abbot seemed built for this new world. It was probably his recent deployment overseas as a combat medic. Carter counted his blessings that the end of the world came when Abbot was back in the states visiting him on leave.
“You know how pissed I’d be if you fucking shot me?” Abbot snorted. Carter tucked the pistol back into its holster and rose to his full height as Abbot passed him. “You turned on your safety, right?”
“Course I did.” Carter replied. Behind his friend’s back, he checked his gun and flipped the safety when he realized it was off. “What’d you find?”
“Nothing good. Place was ransacked of any useful supplies. Almost ran into a couple of scabs though a few blocks down.” Scabs, or scabies, were what their little group had gotten accustomed to calling the creatures which was less creative and more a testament to their science focused minds. “Fuckers are getting closer and closer to us.”
Fuckers was their other name for the creatures—less creative or scientific and more a testament to their rage.
“We’re running out of everything other than medical supplies.” Carter commented as he caught up to match Abbot’s stride. The upside of making base in the ER was it left most of the hospital to be scoured. Carter would never complain about their stash of medicine, but he’d be lying if he said he wouldn’t trade an absurd amount of it for a hot, well-cooked meal. God, he was starting to miss the cafeteria food at this point. “Any ideas for that?”
“We can make the med students eat gauze.” Abbot offered, unhelpful. “Save us three shares right there.”
“You’re just pissed Whitaker stepped on your prosthetic this morning.”
“I can’t exactly take it to get fixed if he fucks it up.”
“He apologized.” Carter chuckled, but Abbot just huffed. “C’mon. You can’t stay mad at him. He looks like a kicked puppy.”
“More like the ghost of some Victorian era child that drowned at sea.”
Carter laughed but quickly bit back the sound knowing it wasn’t safe to make so much noise. He shook his head with a small grin. “The point is, you should cut the kid some slack.”
“I didn’t kill him this morning, did I?” Abbot retaliated with a scoff.
They reached the mouth of the alley that would take them to the back of County General’s ER. It was blocked off by a couple dumpsters, a car, and a few other bulky items they had been able to push together. The other entrance into the ER had been barricaded closed entirely. An attempt to control access to their makeshift camp.
“Heya, docs. Please tell me you’re bringing lunch.” Olsen called out from where he sat on watch.
Abbot snorted, “Does it look like I’m carrying supplies?”
Olsen let out a low whistle as Abbot slid past the barrier and down the alley. He met Carter’s eyes, “He’s in a mood.”
“That’s his baseline.” Carter replied. He paused, “Hey, who bet on aliens for that end of the world pool? Was it Jerry?”
“Nah, Jerry bet on mole people.” Olsen hummed. “I don’t remember who put money down on aliens. I guessed asteroid. Just take us all fuckin’ out.” He snapped his fingers. “Like that.”
Carter gave him a pat on the shoulder before heading in. Maybe it would’ve been better if whatever apocalyptic disaster had just ended humanity. It was a grim thought, but everything was grim these days. Death wasn’t new to Carter. That’s what he told himself.
Every time they lost someone, he’d try to pretend it was just another work day—just another patient. But, it wasn’t. The faces he was losing were ones he knew. Ones he loved. Just last week they lost Julie. She worked in med-surg. Carter hadn’t met her until the world ended.
Julie was sweet. Funny. No local family, but a sister who lived in upstate New York, and she had been studying and applying to move to the ICU. It was a stray bullet that had taken her. Not even fighting against the scabs. It had been a pair of guys, trying to rob a small group of them as they were out scouting, and it had gone badly.
They had enough time to bring her back to County General. Carter worked on her for over an hour. It hadn’t been enough.
Death was still death, but Carter was getting worse at pretending like it didn’t fucking ruin him.
“Carter!”
As he passed what used to be the physician lounge, McKay stepped out to grab his attention. He turned to greet his second-year resident. Though, none of them were his residents anymore he supposed. The red head motioned for him to walk with her.
“Everything alright?” He asked.
“Yeah, but while you were gone we picked up someone new.”
Carter furrowed his brow, “New?” Seven months ago they were actively looking for strangers to save. That had stopped about two months back when it burned them—bad. “Who went out—”
“No one went out.” McKay shook her head. “She came here. Limped up to the barrier. We’re thinking it’s a high ankle sprain. I wrapped it up, gave her some Percocet, and a liter of LR.” Carter couldn’t help but give a soft chuckle as McKay inadvertently gave him a patient check out. She seemed to catch herself and shook her head. “Sorry, anyways, she said she was in Montana when everything went to shit.”
Carter’s eyes widened, “Montana??”
“Yeah, and she’s making her way to Boston. Trying to, at least.”
“Jesus Christ.”
McKay was leading him back to one of the trauma rooms. Through the doors' windows he could see a woman lying on the bed. Carter ran a hand through his hair and stopped outside.
“She’s alone?”
“As far as we can tell.” McKay hesitated with her hand on the door. “She says she’s alone, and we haven’t noticed anyone lingering around outside.”
Carter blew out a breath and nodded once. McKay pushed the door open and went in first. He followed a step behind her. As he did, you sat up on the bed—attached to an IV pole with a bag of LR that was nearly empty. As McKay had said, your ankle was wrapped up and based on your sluggish movement it had been a higher dose of Percocet.
Locking eyes with him, he heard you suck in a sharp breath. Carter didn’t get a chance to say a word. You leapt off the bed, nearly toppling to the ground with heavy and injured limbs, and he watched in shock as you ripped the IV from your arm. McKay cried out and rushed over to help you, but you shoved past her and made a beeline to him. Carter grunted when your body slammed into his—arms locked tightly around his neck. He had no choice but to wrap his own arms around your body to keep you from slumping to the floor.
Carter opened his mouth, to question you or McKay or the universe itself, but you pulled your head back just enough to roughly press your lips to his. His eyes widened as your warm, chapped lips slotted against his. The kiss lasted only a few seconds. Not long enough for Carter to understand or appreciate the moment of softness.
You pulled back to stare at him. Pretty eyes clouded with confusion as the exhaustion was growing more clear on your features.
“Uh, hi.” Carter breathed, still holding you.
Exhaustion crumpled into heartbreak, and he was alarmed at the agony taking hold as tears collected at your waterline. You shook your head and mumbled, voice broken and pained, “You’re not Tom.”

Choking And Gasping
Pairing: Dream (Morpheus) x GN! Submissive! Reader.
Warnings: Smut, Choking, Tears from sex, Daddy kink, Innocent? reader, Dream is a bastard who guess off on you whimpering.
Summary: Morpheus discovers he loves the sound of hearing you struggle to breathe.
Writing Time: 20 minutes.
Word Count: 374.
Format: Kinktober Headcannons, Day 19.
A/N:
Short again but idgaf. I’m in the middle when it comes to writing for Dream, there was a short period where I really wanted to when the series first came out but I didn’t and now I don’t really want to anymore. But still feel like I need to make up for the time I wanted to and didn’t. Oh well.
Also I got to meet Tom Sturridge and Mason Alexander Park last year at MCM. I’ll repost the photo with this work. They are both lovely people.
It feels so weird to write smut whilst picturing someone you’ve actually met
Tumblr media
• Dream could be a little shit at times.
• Especially in the bedroom.
• He loved to tease you.
• There was just something about watching you squirm and cry and whimper that he couldn’t resist.
• He loved being here. In his domain, leaning over you as you cried and begged for him.
• Not only did it make him rock hard, but it also made his heart flutter.
• You submitting you him in this way and trusting him completely.
• Also letting him see you in such a vulnerable state.
• Your hitched breath, your gasps from air as he continued to squeeze harder and harder on your throat…
• It all nearly made him cum in his pants.
• Dream stroked your cheek with his free hand and smirked down at you, whilst you looked up at him with desperation in your eyes.
“Oh my sweet Lover…” He purred.
“Please Dream,” You cried softly and barely able to speak with the pressure on your neck, “Please just fuck me already.”
• You must love stroking his ego, I mean why else would you do it so much?
• You weren’t really that naïve… was you?
• Dream squeezed your small neck tighter making you choke and gasp again, even if your neck wasn’t small it definitely was in his giant hands, and stared into your eyes.
“Of course you pretty little thing. Daddy will give you what you want now…”

Act 3: Retraction
Shelby family x sister reader (platonic!)
Synopsis: You’re wounded, Edmund Beaumont is dead, and Liam is missing. The news hits the Shelbys like an avalanche, fueling their rage as they see the condition of their younger sister. Now, the hunt for the boy, who has earned the family’s respect, becomes a top priority.
Warnings: Graphic violence, blood, explicit language.
Word count: ≈ 1.8k
ACT 1: Permission — ACT 2: Sacrifice
Tumblr media
The early morning in Birmingham was even greyer than usual, as if the clouds had sensed Tommy’s conflicting thoughts. He climbed the steps of that old house, one just like hundreds of others, and stopped on the porch as if lost in contemplation.
Finn waited patiently below, hands clasped in front of him, a clear sign of unspoken shame. The boy was afraid of his older brothers and bore a black eye, a gift from John for his recklessness last night, when he left you alone while he enjoyed stolen whiskey with Isaiah.
They found you in tears near the Garrison. The gentlemen on the pavement made a fuss, and luckily, John and Arthur were inside. They tried to touch your bruised face, but you screamed in pain. Your body trembled as if you'd just emerged from an icy lake, your voice frantic as you sobbed incoherent words to them. Arthur said you didn’t let go of his arm for hours.
John went looking for Liam with a few men, at the very place you said he’d be. But when they arrived, they found nothing but a disturbing scene — the ground was red, Mark Winslow’s lifeless body lay bleeding near some barrels, and there was no sign of the other two. News spread across the docks and Small Heath like the plague.
Tommy arrived a while later, he and John standing over the scene, tense as stone. They both stiffened when a policeman approached, lowering his voice to deliver a whispered message from Sabini:
“The lad” Beaumont “acted for personal reasons, but they won’t hand him over.” The officer spoke hastily, his moustache twitching as he swallowed hard.
“Won’t hand him over, for fuck’s sake?!” John roared, kicking a wooden barrel with force.
“We don’t need them to. We’ll find him ourselves.” Tom stated, voice as calm as ever. “This stopped being just Winslow’s problem the moment that lad and the Sabinis decided to shelter him.”
He didn’t have the heart to tell you they hadn’t found Liam. Instead, he told you a lie. And it was only with that false hope that you managed to sleep.
“He’s fine, just a few scratches.” That was the lie he crafted, avoiding the bright, hopeful eyes of his younger sister as he reassured her in a half-hearted embrace.
A butcher claimed he had seen the end of the fight when he stepped out to take the rubbish. Edmund Beaumont had run after his friend hit the ground, while Liam, too injured to even walk properly, clutched his stomach the entire time.
“The mate was stubborn, wouldn’t let me touch him.” The man’s voice was weighted with pity. “Said he needed to know if someone… a girl, I think, was alright.”
Back in the present, Tommy sighed, weary from staring at the worn wooden door. But just as he raised his hand to knock, something stopped him.
“Can I help you, sir?” A timid voice made him turn his head. A woman stood there, firewood in her arms, her expression laced with concern.
“We’re looking for Liam Byrne. Are you his neighbour?” He asked, slipping his hands into the pockets.
“Is he in trouble?”
The suspicion in her tone made Tom go silent. He assessed the woman once more, glancing at her house next door. Two small silhouettes were visible in the window, probably her children.
“He isn’t.” The answer was curt, only deepening her doubt.
“Miss Mason, do you remember me?” Finn interjected, stepping forward. “I’m… I’m a friend of his.”
The last words left his mouth with difficulty, as though he no longer deserved to call himself that after everything.
She wet her lips, studying Finn with more attention, recognising the boy as, in fact, one of Liam’s friends. She hesitated, but then gave in:
“He didn’t come home last night.” She glanced around as if speaking about it were dangerous. “Liam never got himself into trouble. He’s good. So if something’s happened, please, tell me.”
Tommy stepped down from the porch, frowning at the information.
“He didn’t come home?” The question was rhetorical, but even so, the woman nodded again.
“His mother stayed at mine last night. She’s terribly worried.”
“We’ll find him, miss. Don’t worry.” Finn spoke with newfound determination, stepping closer to his brother to whisper:
“I think I know where he might be.”
Tommy had no choice but to let himself be led once again. They walked briskly, heading towards the outskirts of Birmingham, where abandoned train tracks lay forgotten. Rusted wagons, overgrown with vines, stood scattered around, the metal nearly swallowed by the wild.
He didn’t want to imagine what Finn and his pals used this place for. Tom knew his younger brother’s antics well enough to be sure that knowing the details would only give him a headache.
“Liam came here with us sometimes. When he had time, at least.” Finn murmured as they searched. “There was one time… well, he wasn’t feeling right and ended up here.”
Tom remained silent, exhaling sharply. That boy, Byrne, had surprised him — and, in a way, he felt indebted. But here and now, searching for him, Thomas realised it wasn’t duty driving him. He genuinely wanted to find the dockworker, as if looking for one of his own.
A twig snapped underfoot, and as he reflexively glanced down, he spotted a red trail.
“Check the wagons.” He ordered, moving swiftly.
He searched frantically, weaving between the rusted compartments, his tension mounting as he found more blood. The thought of Liam lying dead made his throat tighten with guilt. What would he tell you? What would have become of you without him yesterday?
“Tommy! I found him!” Finn’s voice rang out like salvation.
Tommy sprinted towards his brother, climbing into the wagon. Liam was slumped against the wall, pale as a sheet, his face battered and bruised. His hand still clutched his stomach, just as the butcher had said.
“He’s been stabbed.” Finn stated flatly, reaching out to check if Liam was conscious.
“Liam.” Tom patted his cheek. “Liam, come on, son. Wake up.”
“Is he dead?”
“No.” Tom snapped, hating the thought. “Go get John. And a doctor.”
Finn nodded like a soldier receiving orders, but before he could leave, a weak grip caught his coat.
“And a doctor, you hear me?” Tommy repeated. “Don’t forget the doctor.”
“Right.” Finn locked eyes with him, every nerve in his body primed for action. And when Thomas let go, he bolted.
“Mr Shelby?” Liam’s voice was barely above a whisper. He was weak, exhausted, and parched.
“My boy, let me see.” Tom reached for his bloodied hand, but the lad wouldn’t let go.
His body was so spent that he barely felt the pain.
“Is she alright?” His words were faint. “I need to know if she’s safe, Mr Shelby.”
“She’s safe, lad. She made it home.” Tom reassured him. “Why did you come here?”
“My mum… I didn’t want her to see me like this.” He spoke as though he weren’t barely clinging on.
“Thank you.” The words were heavy, worth more than gold.
“I didn’t do it for you, sir.” He answered simply. There was no contempt, just the truth.
“I know.” Tom exhaled, hand resting against the back of Liam’s head with rare tenderness. “I know.” He repeated it more intensely, as if that was exactly what he was thankful for.
He no longer resembled the same man who had welcomed him to his office the previous week.
“Which one of them stabbed you?”
“Edmund.”
Tommy’s jaw clenched.
“He’ll pay.”
“You shouldn’t get involved, sir. The Sabinis will think I acted on the Shelbys’ behalf. You’ve got enough trouble with them as it is.”
“But you did act, lad.” Tommy’s voice carried conviction. “You risked your own life for a Shelby.”
“I’m not a gangster, sir. Nor a killer. It was an accident...” Liam finally broke. The tears fell down his cheeks, as if they had been waiting for permission. “My mother can’t know. It’d destroy her.”
“She won’t hear a word about what happened. I'll handle it, don't think about Sabini.”
“You can’t fix death.” Liam murmured, and the only thing Thomas could think of was that the boy was right. And that's why he wouldn't let him die. “Please, don’t tell her either. Don’t tell her I killed him.”
Her. You.
He hesitated for a moment. But when he exhaled, he gave a single nod.
“She won’t know.”
That promise was the last thing spoken, as Tommy made sure Liam stayed conscious until help arrived. He pulled off his coat, using it to wipe the dirt from the lad’s mouth and his exposed neck. By sheer luck — or perhaps some desperate instinct — Liam had found a position that slowed the bleeding. It was the only reason he was still alive.
“Where are they?” John’s voice rang out, slightly muffled by the distance. Tommy stood, stepping out of the wagon to face him.
“It’s not so serious. It's only bad because it took a long time to be treated.” The doctor declared, his voice steady, a man well-seasoned in his profession, and well-paid for his discretion.
With swift efficiency, he assessed the wound. A second later, he was pressing gauze to it, soaking it in alcohol. Liam groaned, the pain sending a violent shudder through him. His trembling hands, slick with blood, tried in vain to push away the three men working on his wound.
Both Shelbys, faces grim and damp with sweat, lifted him carefully, ensuring they didn’t make the injury worse. Liam let out a muffled cry as his feet left the ground, the throbbing agony making his vision blur.
The car that had brought them there, a black Ford, was parked just a few metres away. Moving quickly, Tommy pulled open the back door as John eased him onto the seat, placing a folded coat under his head for support.
“Hang in there, mate.” John muttered before sliding into the driver’s seat.
“Liam.” Tommy’s voice was firm as he spoke the name, stopping the door before it closed.
“Yes, sir?” He responded with a grunt.
“You have my blessing. You hear me?” The sentence came out in a rush, urgently. “I give you my permission.”
Even through the fever, even in his dazed state, Liam understood exactly what the older man meant. His tongue clicked against the roof of his mouth, and for the first time, his furrowed brows weren’t from pain, but from relief.
And then he smiled. A small, knowing smile.
“Thank you, sir.”

I should make it there before intermission, your words echoed in your husband's head as he threw a quick glance backstage, wordlessly asking his assistant the same question he had been since before the first act even began.
Ever since he'd given his blessing for you to return to a part of your life that you both agreed would be better if Tom only knew what was on a 'need to know' basis, every time you stepped out of the house on a new 'assignment', a lump formed in his throat. Wondering if you were keeping safe.
And tonight, on the first preview night of his new play, you received a new assignment. It was local, as all your other ones the last few months had been. You didn't want to leave the country unless the job explicitly required you, and fortunately all of them so far hadn't.
"Don't worry sweetie, it's not far from the theater. I'll be done and backstage before the first act's over," you reassured him at the house while you were both getting ready.
Mason was singing the final song in the program now, and his assistant shook her head at Tom with a worried look on her face that nearly mirrored how he was feeling inside. You were rarely, if ever, late. He knew that, his assistant knew that, even Jamie and the entire cast of the play knew that.
It was nearly curtain call. And still nothing.
Tom kept his smile on his face, putting everything he had into performing to the absolute best of his abilities. The crowd cheering for them all filled him with a type of happiness and fulfillment that only stage performances could, and for a few fleeting seconds he could tell himself that the thundering in his chest, the pulsing in his ears, was from more of the applause than it was from the worry.
He turned to his assistant again, his breath hitching as his mouth stretched into a relieved face-splitting grin when he caught sight of you finally backstage, the paragon of beauty in your dark floral dress that fell to your ankles. One of his personal favorites mostly because of the high slit on the side that drove him completely feral for you. Even more so than usual.
The cast began to exit to both sides of the stage and it was all he could do not to sprint to you, waiting near impatiently for his turn to walk towards the curtain and finally pull you into his arms. He could finally breathe again. You were here. You were safe. And back in his arms.
"Sorry I'm late, sweetie," you said softly, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Had to take a detour and--"
"It doesn't matter, goddess," he told you, the words rushing out of him in heaving breaths. "All that matters is you're here now."
He held you by your shoulders, thumbs lightly tracing along your collarbones as he took you in. The only thing even slightly amiss was the way the French braid he'd put your hair in this morning being loosened and visibly roughed up. But other than that you were completely unmarked, looking exactly as you did when you left the house.
"Y/N, you made it!" You stepped out of Tom's hold to give a brief hug to Hayley, and then Mason who was jogging right behind. "Your husband looked like he was two minutes away from calling a search party out on you."
"Aww, sweetie, were you worried?"
"I always want you with me, sweetheart, you know this," he retorted smoothly, bringing your hand to his lips to place a kiss on your knuckles. Of course I'm worried, he kept to himself. You deal with some dangerous people, I will always worry.
The pair went off to Stage Right after a few, Mason making you promise to join them for drinks later after signing and taking photos with the audience members at stage door. His assistant also sidled off further backstage to give Tom a moment with you, already grasping at your sides to lift you into the air. He desperately wanted to kiss you. Rabidly, even, like a man starved. But that would be for later. After the show.
For now all he wanted was to hold you to him for a few more seconds.
Only he immediately stopped once he saw the way your features winced in sharp pain when he touched your sides. "What's wrong?"
"Detour," you told him, stumbling sightly when you tried to stand up straight. "I had to drive back home and stitch up a wound--"
"You what?" He held on to your hands, frantically inspecting you closer than he did before to see if there were any more scrapes.
"Hey hey, sweetie I'm fine," you assured him, reaching up to touch his cheeks and guide him to rest his forehead on yours. "It's fine, really. I'll be back to normal in a few days, I just gotta be careful on my left side until then."
"Someone did that--"
"And he won't ever be able to again," you said confidently. "To me or to anyone else." The music began that cued him for the final bow. You gave his shoulders a quick squeeze before turning him around. "Go. I'll wait here." The feel of you playfully swatting his ass as he walked away brought a smile to his face, his worries subsided. At least for now.
Once your husband walked out onto the stage, his assistant once again stood in place beside you. "You stitched your own wound?"
"Yep."
"At least we know where to go next time your husband gets dinged up from mucking around with sharp props."
You nodded at her. "Hmm…maybe next time it won't make such a visible scar. I still wanna throw hands with the doctor that worked on his arm." It still pissed you off to this day that the day he was injured nobody bothered to tell you, even if you were in the same building. You wouldn't have left that scar. There was, of course, still a way to retroactively remedy it, but it would be rather painful, and not something you would ever want to put your husband through.
The cast gradually began to exit the stage, those going to your side of the curtains giving you a little greeting as they passed, telling you they were glad you made it. You caught some of them eyeing the cardboard cutout of Tom in the ruffled tuxedo suit behind you. Couldn't quite blame them, considering you'd given your husband the exact same look the first time he stepped out in the frilled suit.
When he'd finally made his way backstage, he wasted no time in reaching for your hand and leading you off to his dressing room. Immediately he took off his mic set and headed for the sink, telling you, "Give me just a few seconds, sweetheart." And then not two seconds later you heard him gargling.
You looked over the pictures he had taped onto his mirror, each of them had your heart melting. A shot of him running to you and giving you a kiss when he and his team won at Soccer Aid last year. One of the two of you dancing together at the afterparty for the Life of Chuck premiere. A selfie he took of the two of you kissing on the couch. And lastly, a picture of Bobby from your wedding ceremony, walking down the aisle with a bouquet of flowers in his mouth.
"There we are…" Tom made his way back to your side, placing a little face towel down on the vanity before framing your face in his hands. "It didn't feel right to kiss you before I washed Benedick away."
That all too familiar fluttering in your stomach made its presence felt when he backed you against the wall, thumb tracing along your lower lip as his free hand gently skimmed down your uninjured side. And your knees all but gave in when he leaned in, slanting his mouth over yours and kissing you with a desperation that would have made the average onlooker think you hadn't seen each other in months.
You last saw each other this morning.
"I missed you," he said in an exhale when he pulled away, catching his breath as he rested his forehead on yours. "None of this feels complete when you're not here."
"Speaking of complete…" You worked his wedding ring out of your necklace, sliding it on to his ring finger before pressing a soft kiss to the gold band. "I believe this is yours."
He kissed the tip of your nose before capturing your lips in a tender kiss, sighing contentedly when you threw your arms around his neck to pull him closer.
You only broke the kiss when you heard the muffled sound of cheering from the direction of the Stage Door, remembering that his duties for the night weren't quite finished yet. "You gotta get ready for--"
The rest of your words melted into a whimpering moan when he started kissing your neck, groaning against your skin when he worked his hand under the slit of your dress and grasped at your thigh. "We have time, goddess," he whispered into your neck. "I'm scheduled to go last. We have over an hour to get ready."
He took your hand in his, a smirk playing at your mouth when he placed it on the buckle of his belt. "Well then…guess we can take our sweet time."

Sass Incarnate
Tom Holland x sassy Designer boyfriend
Requested? yes/no
Warnings: none, just tom's boyfriend being a menace
Intended reader: Male Reader/Female reader
Parts: One
♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️
Tom Holland wasn’t nervous often.
Okay, that was a lie — Tom was always nervous, but this was a special kind of nervous. The kind that made his palms sweat and his curls frizz just enough for him to scowl into the mirror and mutter something British and unhelpful.
Today, he was bringing him to set. His boyfriend. His fashion-designer-boyfriend... slash-gourmet-chef... slash-human-perfection.
God.
He was pacing outside the trailer with Zendaya leaning against the side of it, arms crossed, watching him with a faint smirk.
"Tom. You look like you're about to walk into a live grenade."
“I might as well be!” Tom hissed, adjusting his shirt for the hundredth time. “You know how he gets. What if someone says something stupid?”
Zendaya raised an eyebrow. “Tom. Have you met your cast?”
Tom groaned. “Exactly.”
She snorted. “He’ll be fine. He’s brilliant. A bit scary when someone tests him, but brilliant.”
That was putting it lightly.
His boyfriend was small, but fierce. Built like a Calvin Klein ad and with the personality of a lion that had a day job as a therapist. Soft-spoken until someone made the fatal mistake of being wrong in his vicinity — then he’d lace his words in sarcasm and truth until they stung so hard you thanked him for the read.
And his fashion?
Gucci who?
Louis where?
This man was the luxury brand.
His boutique — soft blush walls, muted gold accents, mirrors shaped like clouds — sat next to his equally elegant café, where Tom had tasted a ginger peach chai tea so divine, he almost proposed right then and there with a packet of Splenda.
He made oxtails that nearly sent Tom to God, with yams so sweet they might’ve flirted with him. His boyfriend called them “yams,” never “sweet potatoes,” and Tom learned real fast not to argue with that. The one time he did?
He didn’t get to eat.
And now here Tom was, heart racing, as he opened the trailer door to see him — lounging casually, wearing one of his own designs: a wide-legged caramel-toned pant, cropped cream sweater that showed off a smooth brown stomach, and dainty gold rings that caught the light like a soft little flex.
He had a mason jar in one hand, filled with something vibrant and green and layered, and his glasses were slipping down his nose.
“Tommy, baby,” he greeted, voice like velvet, “you’re sweating. Want some of the honey-lime green tea I made? It’s refreshing and hydrating.”
Tom walked over and took the drink without question, because if his boyfriend made it, it was basically liquid divinity.
“I love you,” he mumbled.
“I know.” He smiled. “Now come on, I want to see if this Jacob Batalon guy is as funny as you say he is.”
And so it began.
The introduction to the cast went... well.
Jacob, sweet as always, offered a handshake.
“Hi! I’m Jacob, it’s great to finally meet—”
Tom’s boyfriend blinked. “Is that a Lilo & Stitch pin on your jacket?”
Jacob froze. “Y-yeah?”
“Iconic. 10/10. You’re safe.”
Jacob breathed out in relief.
Then came Tony Revolori.
“Hey man, I’m Tony. I played Flash—”
“And you showed up to this trailer with those jeans?” came the immediate response, head tilted, lips pursed.
Tom choked. Zendaya wheezed.
“Wha—?”
“Your ankles are suffering, baby. This isn’t 2013. Either cuff it right or wear a better shoe. Pick a struggle.”
Tony just… blinked.
But it wasn’t until an extra tried to flirt with Tom — a little too casually, a little too smiley — that the room dropped to ice.
His boyfriend, sweet and silent at first, stood up from the couch, walked over to her with that same calm energy, and said in a soft voice that could skin steel.
“Hi, I’m his boyfriend. We’re very happy. Please don’t mistake his politeness for interest. And next time you wear that lip gloss, try blotting once or twice — it’s giving clingy, not cute.”
Tom didn’t even know where to look.
The girl sputtered and mumbled an apology before all but vanishing.
Zendaya mouthed “damn” and offered his boyfriend a high-five.
Later, as they curled up in Tom’s trailer, surrounded by the leftover smell of candied yams and peach cobbler (because yes, he brought food to the set, too — he was that boyfriend), Tom pressed a kiss to his boyfriend’s shoulder.
“Still waiting on that proposal,” his boyfriend teased, eyes glinting.
“You said I had to make candied yams first. No recipe. From scratch.”
“That’s the test.”
Tom groaned. “I’m gonna fail.”
His boyfriend handed him a plate.
“You’ve been watching me for a couple years. Time to learn, Holland.”
Tom looked down at the plate, then back at him.
“You’re lucky I love you.”
“I know.” Smirk. “I made you tea. And yams. You’re welcome.”
God, Tom thought, I’m gonna marry him.

The beer shoved at Y/N's face was almost as shocking as the person attached to it. Not that being given a plastic at a high school party full of drunk teenagers was shocking, but it was the person who was handing out the alcohol that was the problem.
Tonight was a little party at Jonny's house, and even though they didn't talk much, Jonny invited Y/N. That's where this beer situation came into play. Everyone knew about Danny Sullivan Blake's little outburst at school after he found out that Y/N saved his little brother Finney from bullies.
People excepted Y/N to leave the school grounds in a body bag after Danny got through with him, but to everyone's shock; he let Y/N go. Now, here at this party by nothing short of the inevitable, Danny Sullivan once again came face to face with Y/N in the public eye of their peers. "I'm sorry."
"Excuse me?" Y/N asked. He was actually shocked. Did Danny just apologize to him? The same guy who beat the shit out of Vance Hopper last June?
"Look. I ain't really good at showing my emotions, and if you tell anyone about this, I'll kill you, but I was wrong to treat you the way I did at school. You were just protecting my little brother, and I think I owe you a big thank you for that. So here." He held up the plastic cup of beer once again.
Y/N took the cup and smiled. "Thank you, Danny."
"Don't mention it, L/N."

You and Mason have been dating for a week now. You both had confessed your feelings to one another shortly after he met you on the beach. The first two people to find out about you and Mason were your fathers, Jake and Bradley. This is just because they had been standing in the kitchen watching out the window and saw you both kiss. Of course, at first, they were against it but they couldn’t have asked for anyone better for you to date, Mason was a Floyd after all they knew how to treat their loved ones and how to take care of them. Just because they had met him doesn't mean that they didn't want to still interrogate him.
You and Mason had just gotten back from a date and he had just dropped you off. He had walked you to the door and kissed you before turning and leaving. He sat in his truck and made sure you got in safely before he took off and once inside and staring out the window he left. You hadn't noticed that your parents were standing in the door with a cheesy grin on their face. “Have him over for dinner.” Jake said behind you and you jumped out of your skin. You turned around.
“Pops! You almost gave me a heart attack.” You said putting a hand over your heart. You were too busy looking out the window watching Mason leave that you forgot about them being there.
“Sorry, Sweets.” Jake said and you nodded.
“It's ok. Back to the dinner part. You already know him. He hasn't changed.” You said
“We know him as your friend Mason Floyd but we don't know him as your boyfriend Mason Floyd.” Bradley said and it dawned on you.
“You both just want to interrogate him, don't you?” You said with a signature Seresin smirk on your face they both blushed. They knew they had been caught.
“Yes.” They both said at the same time.
“Fine. I'll invite him over tomorrow night.” You said and they nodded “I'm gonna go shower and change then I'll meet you two down here for a movie and snacks.” You said even though you had just eaten with Mason.
“But we love you just the way you are.” Jake said, matching your smirk and you rolled your eyes.
“You know what I meant.” You said and pushed him playfully and walked off. As you got to your room you pulled out your phone and sent a text off to him.
Dad and Pops know about us. They want you to come over and ‘meet’ you.
Mason 'My Forever' Floyd: Meet me? They know me.
Yes, I know. They said and I quote “We know him as your friend Mason Floyd but we don't know him as your boyfriend Mason Floyd.”
Mason 'My Forever' Floyd: Omg that's funny. When?
Tomorrow night.
Mason 'My Forever' Floyd: I'll be there.
This is going to be a disaster.
Mason 'My Forever' Floyd: No, it won't. It'll be fun and fine. Don't stress over it.
You always know what to say. I'll text you when I go to bed.
Mason 'My Forever' Floyd: Looking forward to it. You have a fun movie night with them.
You chuckled and shook your head. He knew that the three of you had a movie night together most nights. You put your phone on charge and then got things for your shower. Once your shower was done you got dressed, grabbed your phone and headed downstairs where your dads were already queuing up a movie. “What are we watching?” You asked.
“The Proposal.” Bradley said as he finished getting the movie ready. Snacks and drinks were already on the coffee table.
“I love that movie!” You exclaimed excitedly and walked over to the couch and snuggled into Jake and he welcomed it. They both chuckled.
“We know. We love it too.” Jake said as Bradley sat on the other side of you and now you were sandwiched between them.
“That's why we put it on.” Bradley said stealing you from Jake.
“Hey!” He protested
“She's my kid too.” Bradley said and you just chuckled. Soon the movie was starting and the three of you got comfortable. The night continued on watching movies until all three of you were nearly asleep and you decided to call it a night. All 3 of you said your goodnights and I love yous then you were heading to bed. Once in bed you pulled out your phone.
Just got into bed. I'm still dreading tomorrow night.
Mason 'My Forever' Floyd: It'll be fine. We're in this together, babe. Try and get some sleep and try not to fret about it.
You always know what to say, one of the many reasons I fell in love with you. Goodnight.
Mason 'My Forever' Floyd: That's because you're my soul mate. Goodnight.
You blushed furiously as you stared at the text and then you were putting your phone away and falling asleep.
The next day was a Saturday and you were thankful for that. Not much was done on Saturdays in the Bradshaw-Seresin household. Really nothing was done on the weekends to you three it was time away from working and going to school. You always looked forward to weekends.
10 AM rolled around and you were rolling out of bed to the smell of food. Bradley and Jake were always up way too early and they usually did stuff together like workout before they started to wake you up and make breakfast. You started to walk downstairs and into the kitchen to see Jake by the stove and Bradley at the kitchen table on his phone and coffee by his side. He would occasionally step in and help Jake if he needed but the kitchen was left to Jake mostly. “Good morning, Honey.” Bradley said as Jake said “Good morning, Sweets.” That made you smile.
“Mornin’.” You said still not 100% awake. “Smells good.” You said coming to sit on the counter as your parents gave a look but you didn't make a move to get up instead you just smirked.
“So, is Mason still coming over tonight?” Jake asked as he flipped the waffles and you nodded.
“Yes, he is.” You said
“Good.” He said and Bradley just smiled and chuckled.
“We just want you to be safe and make sure he's the right one for you.” Bradley said and you nodded with a sigh.
“I know but I just really like him.” You said getting a dreamy look in your eye and they smiled.
“You know your dad and I hated each other when we met.” Jake said
“Really?” You asked and they nodded.
“It wasn't our first-time meeting or dating.” Bradley let it slip.
“Really?” You asked again, shocked and they nodded.
“We dated for a while and then it ended on bad terms. We didn't see each other for a while until we met again at Top Gun. It was very tense but then afterwards we got together, got married, and then decided to have you with the help of Dakota.” Jake said and everyone got sad when Dakota's name was mentioned. The rest of the day and afternoon leading up to the night was filled with you and your dads being together and having family time. You were shocked but it made so much sense. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent as a family and having the best time together.
It finally came time for supper and you were so nervous even though they already knew Mason but they would be meeting him as your boyfriend and not their best friend’s kid. You had texted Mason earlier to tell him to be there at 6 PM. When the time came, he was there at 6 PM on the dot. You went and opened the door and there he stood with your favorite flowers, roses, and a gift for Jake, and Bradley. “Hey you.” He said and kissed you and you kissed back.
“Hey you.” You repeated with a smile when you pulled away. You allowed him to come in and he handed you the flowers
“Good evening, sirs.” Mason said and held out his hand to shake. If this was the first time, he was meeting them as your boyfriend he was going to make a good first impression.
“Good evening, Mason. You know us so you can call us by our names.” Jake said and he nodded. You had gone to put the flowers in water. He then handed Jake and Bradley arrived and he handed them their gift.
“I was going to give you individual gifts but since I can't buy alcohol I decided to do a joint gift.” He added a little nervously. They both looked at each other and smiled. They then looked at the gift. It was a 3D Crystal Photo that was etched with a picture of you, Jake, and Bradley. It was a younger you were on a horse and they were on either side of you, you were smiling and they were looking at you smiling.
“How did you get this picture?” Bradley asked in awe.
“I had Y/N send me it when I asked for it for a gift idea.” He said
“Did she know about this?” Jake asked and he shook his head. “It's really lovely. We love it.” and Bradley nodded. “Dinner is almost ready. The steaks just have a few more minutes to go.” Jake said as they walked into the kitchen after he put the picture on the space that looked out into the living room to the kitchen.
“Anything I can help with?” Mason asked
“Can you and Y/N set the table?” Bradley asked
“Yes.” You and Mason said at the same time and they smiled. You both went to work setting the table while Jake and Bradley went outside to check the steaks and pull them off the grill. You and Mason chatted and laughed while Jake and Bradley looked into the house smiling.
“They’re perfect for each other.” Bradley said and Jake nodded.
“Yeah, they are.” Jake agreed and then they were pulling the steaks off and heading back inside. The table was set and Jake was setting the steaks in the middle of the table. “The potatoes and mac n’ cheese are on the stove.” He said and you both nodded as everyone got their steaks and then went to the stove. Once everyone was seated everyone began to eat. It was quiet at first but it wasn’t awkward.
“This is really good.” Mason said and Jake and Bradley smiled.
“Thank you, the mac n’ cheese is an old family recipe and the mashed potatoes is also a recipe from Jake’s family.” Bradley said and Jake nodded. The rest of the night went off without a hitch and you were so glad about that. They did grill him pretty hard but he stayed calm and answered all the questions with ease. But the time it was time for him to leave it was just like you were hanging out with Mason and it didn't matter that he was your boyfriend. Everything was great. You walked him to the door.
“I'm sorry for all that.” You told him and he shook his head.
“Nonsense. It was great. Your dads love me and I love them.” He said reassuring you and you nodded. “Hey.” He said and you looked up at him. “I love you.” He said.
“I love you too.” You said back and then he kissed you and then he was leaving. You turned around and there was Jake and Bradley.
“We approve.” They said at the same time and you chuckled.
“Thank you.” You said
“Anytime, Sweets.” Jake said as they brought you into a hug.
A week later Mason was having you over for dinner as a sort of ‘get to know the parents as boyfriend and girlfriend’. “Hey mom and dad I'm gonna have my girlfriend over.” He said looking nervous.
“Oh, how lovely! I can't wait to meet her!” Judy said excitedly and hugged her son and he hugged back smiling.
“That's great, Mase. I'm sure she's gonna be lovely.” Bob said smiling and Mason smiled.
“She is.” He said and so when he went up to his room, he texted you the details smiling.
******
“Hey I'm going over to Mason's for dinner tonight.” You said and they smiled.
“Let me guess to do the same thing we did to him?” Bradley asked and you nodded.
“I'm actually glad you're doing it this way. Yes, we already know him and Bob and Judy know you but it's nice.” Jake said and you smiled.
“We have to thank you guys for that.” You chuckled
“What time are you heading over there?” Bradley asked
“He wants me there at 6:30 PM.” You replied “But I'm leaving a little early to grab flowers for Judy and things they like.” You said and they smiled.
“Bob likes Sparkling Apple Cider. He had it at our wedding and fell in love with it. Penny has it on stock at The Hard Deck.” Jake said and you smiled.
“Thanks Pops.” You said “I should get going if I want to stop by the store and bookstore.” You said
“Bookstore?” Bradley asked and you nodded.
“There is a book Mason has been dying to get but never gets a chance to so I'm getting it for him.” You said blushing a little.
“That is so sweet.” Both Jake and Bradley said at the same time and you looked down.
“I need to go.” You said and they nodded.
“Yes, go go.” They said ushering you out as you grabbed your wallet and keys to your Jeep. You got in and headed to the bookstore when you parked you walked in and knew exactly where to go. You smiled when you saw it, a copy of The Outsiders and you grinned ear to ear. You walked to pay for it and smiled at the friendly cashier woman, Martha.
“Are you getting this for Mason?” She asked and you nodded.
“That's so lovely. I'm glad you got the last copy of it.” She said
“Thank you.” You said as you grabbed the back and began to walk out and as you opened the door you looked back “Have a nice day, Martha! I'll see you soon!” You said and she smiled.
“Anytime my dear. Have a good night. Tell Mason I said hi.” She said and you smiled.
“Will do.” You said and then left. You got in your Jeep and put the book in the passenger seat and headed to the grocery store. You were quick to park and walk in. You first grabbed the Sparkling Apple Cider and then an arrangement of Lilies, Daisies, Snapdragons, Alstroemerias, Gladiolus’, Orchids’ and Iris’. You might’ve gone overboard but you couldn't help yourself. Once you were done there you were heading to their place. You were quick to arrive and walked up the door and rang the doorbell and Mason opened it. “Hey, Martha says hi.” You said and he kissed you.
“Hi, when did you see her?” He asked
“When I got your favorite book that you've been wanting.” You said and pulled it out.
“Y/N/N thank you so much. I've been meaning to get this.” He said in awe.
“I know I got the last one.” You said and then kissed you and then he was bringing you in.
“Mom. Dad. My girlfriend is here.” Mason said and here they came.
“Y/N you're his girlfriend?!” Judy said excitedly and you smiled and nodded. “Finally! I'm so happy!” She said and hugged you and you hugged back.
“I'm so happy you're his girlfriend.” Bob said and hugged you once Judy released you.
“Oh Judy, these are for you.” You said and handed Judy her flowers.
“Oh Y/N/N these are amazing. Thank you so much. These are my favorites.” Judy said and you smiled as she kissed your cheek.
“Bob, these are for you.” You said as you handed him an 18 pack of Sparkling Apple Cider.
“Thank you so much. How did you know?” He asked, looking at you adoringly.
“Pops helped me with the idea. He said that you fell in love with it at their wedding and that Penny has it on stock at The Hard Deck. I also know you don't drink.” You said sheepishly.
“Thank you.” He said and hugged you and you hugged back. Judy had walked into the kitchen to finish dinner and to put the flowers away. About a minute later you, Bob, and Mason walked in.
“Is there anything I can do?” You asked and she smiled sweetly at you.
“You can help me with the rest of cutting the vegetables up and fixing the salad while the boys’ man the grill.” She said and you smiled and did just that.
Soon dinner was ready and you 4 were sitting down to eat. They asked you questions but it wasn't as intense as your dads asked. It helped that they practically helped raise you. You stayed a little bit longer which they insisted that you didn’t need to but you insisted and then you watched a movie together. Once the movie was over Mason was walking you to your Jeep. “I think our parents are ok with us dating.” He chuckled and you nodded.
“I mean they practically did raise us from the start.” You chuckled
“I’m so glad you’re my girlfriend.” He said and you smiled.
“I’m so glad you’re my boyfriend.” You replied and he smiled and kissed you and you happily returned that kiss. Then you were pulling apart and getting in and heading home. He made sure you were out of the neighborhood safely before going back inside. When you got home you let him know it was only fair since he let you know he was home last time.
You and Mason had been dating for a month now and it was great. You honestly don’t know what took you guys so long to admit your feelings and just go for it but you’re glad you did. The Daggers would have a monthly BBQ. It was just a way for everyone to be themselves around each other without work and it was a way to make their squadron stronger even though they were a strong squadron. “How do you think I should introduce Mason as my boyfriend? I know they know him but you know.” You said as you guys were shopping for food the day before.
“Well, you could always say your boyfriend is coming over and then Mason shows up.” Bradley pitched and you thought about it.
“Yeah, that sounds like a good plan.” You and Jake said at the same time and Bradley chuckled.
“No denying you’re her father.” He chuckled
“Hey there is no denying you’re her father too, Rooster.” Jake said, bringing out his callsign.
“Oh, you did not.” You and Bradley said at the same time in the same tone.
“See?” Jake asked, smirking. You both rolled your eyes “There it is again.” He chuckled and Bradley flipped him off which made you laugh. The rest of the shopping trip was spent playfully picking at each other and having fun. When you got back into the truck after helping load the groceries you texted Mason the plan and he was all for it and then you texted Bob and Judy and they too were all for it.
The next day Jake and Bradley started early getting everything set up and cleaned up. When you got up around 10 AM you got yourself ready for the day and then started to help them out. Music was playing and you three made it fun instead of a chore. When everything was done and it was time for The Daggers to come over you guys were ready. They started to show up in pairs or by themselves. They greeted you and your dads and whoever was over at the time. Once everyone was settled and had drinks or food you broke the news. “Hey my boyfriend is coming over in a few minutes.” You said and tried to hide the knowing smile.
“Oh, Baby Bradshaw-Seresin is dating?” Natasha smirked and you nodded.
“Who is this mysterious boy?” Javy asked
“You'll find out soon.” You replied. Carole, Goose, Maverick, and Ice were there as well and they knew because you told them and boy were they excited. Goose had to be Goose and be all dramatic about saying ‘My Chick is growing up! She's dating! Next thing you know she's married and having kids! My heart can't take it!’ Everyone just chuckled but they knew he was right they didn't want you growing up too fast but once they found out it was Mason all that changed. They still didn't want you to grow up but they knew Mason would take good care of you.
“How long have you been dating?” Mickey asked
“A month.” You replied with ease.
“You're really not going to tell us?” Ruben asked and you shook your head pulling the Seresin smirk. It was a few minutes and everyone went back to themselves and then the doorbell rang.
“Oh, that's him! I'll go and get it!” You said and skipped off. You opened the door and there stood Mason and you kissed him while pulling him in.
“Do they know it's me?” He asked and you shook your head and chuckled “Well let's go and reveal it then.” He said and you grabbed his hand and walked out to the backyard.
“Oh hey, Mason! We're waiting for Y/N's boyfriend.” Natasha said and he looked at you and you smirked.
“Babe, are you cheating on me?” He asked, smirking so you can only see it.
“On you? Baby not in a million years.” You said and kissed him and then it started to click in people's heads.
“Wait..... What?! No way! You're dating him! Finally! It's about time!” Javy said and ran up to you both and hugged you both and then he lightly hit you “Why wasn't I the first to know! I'm always the first to know!” He said with a hurt expression on his face and you chuckled.
“I know but we wanted some time to actually be a couple before telling people.” You explained and he nodded. He understood. “We really only told Dad, Pops, Bob, and Judy just because they're our parents. Then Goose, Grandma Carole, Grandpa Maverick and Grandpa Ice found out by accident.” You said and they nodded.
“I knew it all along. You two were too friendly with each other. Also, the way you gossiped all about him and were all gushy gushy about him I put two and two together. Also, I saw you two out and about holding hands and kissing.” She said smugly.
“How?” Jake said
“They happened to be at the same restaurant I was at getting food.” She said with a shrug “Then I saw them going to ice cream and they were holding hands.” She said smirking and you and Mason were blushing and you hid into his neck and he cuddled you.
“Aww look at them getting all cute!” Carole gushed and that made you go redder.
“It's too cute!” Goose gushing with his wife. Ice and Maverick just smirked because they agreed with them.
“No. Absolutely not. Our baby is growing up.” Mickey said in denial.
“I won't allow it.” Mickey said, shaking his head. You and Mason laughed.
“I'm sorry guys but we really love each other.” You said and Mason nodded.
“No, not the ‘l’ word! I can't… I just can't.” Ruben said and turned away like he was fake crying and Mickey turned to him comforting him.
“I know. I know. Let it all out.” Mickey said and everyone just smiled because they knew they were putting on a show. Ruben turned around and took a breath. He looked at you both in each other's arms.
“Nope. I can't. I just-” He said and you both walked over and hugged him.
“Shhhh, I'm still you're Bunny. I'm still the same energized little girl, I just have a partner in crime now.” You said and he nodded.
“I'm really happy for you guys. You both picked good ones.” Ruben said
“They sure did.” Mickey added and joined in on the hug. Everyone was smiling. They were really happy you two had each other and like Ruben said you two picked good ones. Once Mickey and Ruben accepted it the night went on like nothing changed. Mason did get grilled with 20 questions even though they did know him but they just wanted to be sure. You weren't off the hook either, questions were thrown at you too but you answered them.
The night ended and everyone was leaving. Bob and Judy stayed to help clean up because that's just who they are. You and Mason fell on the couch “Exhausted?” He asked and you nodded and laid your head on his shoulder.
“I'm glad they approve.” You said and he kissed your temple.
“We knew they would.” He said and you smiled.
“Yea I know.” You chuckled then both sets of parents came in.
“We're really so glad you're both dating.” Judy said and everyone nodded and you both smiled.
“We love you guys. We just want you both to be safe.” Bob said and you both nodded.
“We will be.” You and Mason said.
“Thank you for telling us first.” Bradley said
“It really meant a lot to us.” Jake said
“We agreed that we would tell you guys first. You're important to us.” Mason said and you nodded and they smiled. They all hugged you and then left. Now it was you and Mason on the couch enjoying each other's embrace. Tonight, couldn't have gone any better and it was perfect, you both were just glad everyone approved.
Everything was perfect.
