I just really love the fact that when Gandalf was trying to convince Bilbo to go with Thorin, he pointed out that he was also a Took, and that he should want to go out and have an adventure

Gandalf gets a hobbit with the actual last name of Took for the fellowship and absolutely loses his mind over our clumsy little adventurer

It’s like there’s a certain percentage of Took that he’s cool with, and I wonder where that threshold is
