if bug and jon were to have gotten together, it wouldve been during season 1. i truly think that had steve not interrupted their moment on the porch, right when theyre about to kiss after saving will, then this wouldve been the start of everything. i intentionally had steve interrupt them for this reason btw <3

at this time in come home, steve doesnt necessarily have an all encompassing crush on bug/loves her. hed probably just be confused that bug and jon are just now kissing ??? like wtf i thought yall were already together :/ but i also see him being a bit upset, some underlying jealousy that he doesnt quite understand. hed resent jonathan for taking so long, ironically enough. steve would still become best friends with bug and hed still be at her beck and call at bookstrordinary. only thing that changes is that jonathan now accompanies them.

nancy would go back to steve and theyd have the same arc as they do in season 2. only i think the halloween party scene would be fueled by nancys resentment towards bug (because bug has everything she wants - jonathan, the kids, steves affection). she would call her relationship with steve bullshit because she sees how bug and jon are and she knows that the love she has with steve isnt real. steve and nancy wouldnt be able to compare to bug and jon, and it infuriates nancy because she just wants someone to love her how jonathan loves bug.

in saying this, nancy and bug dont become friends. bug is all for it, she does really like nancy, but nancy cant. she lost jonathan to her in a confusing and dizzying manner.

steve slowly clings onto bug when he and nancy break up. bug stays with dustin and dart still while jonathan and nancy go to murray, and its this point that steve realizes his crush on bug. itd be his first time spending time with only bug and no jonathan. i think hed have the same panic bug had when she realized she liked steve in season 1. he would immediately pull away, he doesnt want bug to ever think hed betray her trust like that.

bug would be sad, but she would assume its because of nancy, and she'd leave him alone.

bug and jonathan are the annoyingly happy and content couple everyone hates. theyre so easily happy with the other, everything lovely and tender. theyre a bit creepy, tbh. jonathan will hand bug water without her having to say anything and bug would grab jon a pen the second he wants to draw. their unspoken communication grows even more, to the point that el genuinely thinks they share her powers for a second lmao.

season 3 i think maybe theyd argue over bug maybe losing her job due to the mall and jon and his annoying bosses. maybe he complains about his lack of real photography opportunities and bug is like ???? dude im about to lose my job pls read the room. i think this fight would cause bug to run to steve at scoops because she doesnt really have any other friends and she misses him - and this is how she gets stuck in the russian lair !

steve and bug bond some more while trapped. steves crush on her intensifies and shes oblivious to it, though robin sees through steve immediately lmao. during the bathroom stall scene, its the same except robin urges steve to confess his feelings for bug and bug is just there like wow wonder who we're talking about ! anyways i love my bf very much i miss jonathan :(

reunite scene. jon was so worried about bugs sudden disappearance and i think honestly this only strengthens their relationship. steve sees their reunion and he stands next to nancy, the two of them watching you and jonathan with regret and longing.

season 4 the byers move and bug is genuinely heartbroken. its a whole new type of pain, and because steve is a masochist, he helps her. he practically becomes the new jonathan. spending all his time with bug, always willing to wipe her tears, and bug truly thinks its because hes a good friend. never would she imagine hes in love with her. jonathan still pulls away as he does in canon. he wouldnt tell bug he never applied to nyu, and she becomes really anxious and insecure.

see season 4 i can see this spinning into a "hooray ! steve and bug together now !" really easily. steve becomes bugs only form of comfort tbh. hes there when jonathan isnt, but at the end of it all, jonathan is bugs first true and real love, and i dont think she'd ever be able to forget him and see steve in any capacity besides a friend.

season 4 would just be steves quiet acceptance season. he loves bug with everything, but she doesnt love him. and hes ok with it, because at least shes his friend, right ? at least she calls him a silly name and holds his hand when he gets scared.

man it wouldve been really sad had jon and bug gotten together damn.

Summary: a headcanon based off an old mini series I wrote a while back

Kang Yeosang was nothing more than an average citizen of Wonderland trying to avoid the watchful eyes of Cora Mills, the old Queen of Hearts. However, after her death in Storybrooke, his life had changed for the better. 

citizen!Yeosang, who jokingly put in his submission to be one of the four jacks (the Wonderland term for prince) when the campaign started. 

citizen!Yeosang, who never thought that his application would be submitted and accepted.

citizen!Yeosang, who stood as still as a statue when the Wonderland citizens elected him to become a jack.

citizen!Yeosang, whose eyes become wider when he realizes that he will not only become a jack, he will become the Jack of Diamonds. 

From an ordinary citizen to the four jacks of Wonderland, Kang Yeosang’s life trajected towards a completely different path. 

jack!Yeosang, who didn’t know absolutely anything about being a royal subject, let alone a jack. 

jack!Yeosang, who was frightened, intimidated, and overwhelmed by everything in this huge diamond-coated castle. It also didn’t help that his supposed royal assistants would tell him different things. 

“Do it like this!”

“Don’t listen to that idiot! This is the proper way!”

“Your highness, your hair is… down. You look like a peasant.”

jack!Yeosang, who wanted nothing more than to quit. To revoke his candidacy. To cry. 

jack!Yeosang, who yelled at everyone angrily for the first time in his entire life. He hasn’t been angry or frustrated before so lashing out was completely new to him. 

jack!Yeosang, who saw the surprised looks on his subjects’ faces when they were on the short end of the stick of his lash out. 

jack!Yeosang, who apologized profusely and ran away from everyone without hearing what they had to say. 

jack!Yeosang, who spent hours crying in his room and wallowing in self-pity and regret. 

jack!Yeosang, who felt a hand rub his back soothingly as a presence sat down next to him. 

“Hey. It’s ok, Yeosang. I’m here.”

jack!Yeosang, who threw his arms around the newly crowned Queen of Diamonds. One of his good friends. Park Seonghwa. 

jack!Yeosang, who vented to queen!Seonghwa about everything. And I do mean everything. 

jack!Yeosang, who listened to every piece of advice that queen!Seonghwa gave him since he knew everything about being royalty due to his lineage having royal blood. 

jack!Yeosang, who slowly but surely became the Jack of Diamonds that Wonderland needed. 

jack!Yeosang, who felt extremely proud of himself when he finally got the hang of it. 

jack!Yeosang, who toasted alongside queen!Seonghwa and the newly minted kings & jacks when they celebrated the clean image that Wonderland now presents in the kingdom.

jack!Yeosang, who was somehow ok with you choosing Mingi & Jongho instead of him. After all, their personalities drew you in.

I'm going to university now (in Germany) and the uni i'm at offers catalan as a side course. Tomorrow i'll finally be at an event where they introduce the subject among others. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! ^^ Finally! >< Sadly, there won't be a class for catalan literature (omg actually - if you have recommendations of important works from the recent centuries, i'd love to hear, but i'm just rambling, no pressure xD). There will be linguistics and speech praxis. I can't wait! :D

Some of the modern classics (from the late 19th century to the present):

L'Atlàntida (Atlantis, 1877) by Jacint Verdaguer. Epic poem that re-interprets history and legends. Jacint Verdaguer is the most representative poet of the Renaixença/Romanticism movement in Catalan literature.

Other poems by Jacint Verdaguer (1845-1902) and Joan Maragall (1860-1911) are the most important poetry of the Renaixença.

The theatre plays Terra Baixa (usually published in English with the title Martha of the Lowlands, 1896) by Àngel Guimerà. Also Mar i cel ("Sea And Sky", 1888) by him.

Complex posted an article about Drake's new Poetry book, subsequently titled, "Titles Ruin Everything". To me it trajects the buoyed while still blued accolades of one of the greatest alternatively acceded Rap artists ever: the OVO/Warner's Aubrey 'Drake' Graham. 

Cosigns of UGK's and Trill Burgers mogul Bun B and the hood accredited while robustly respected James Prince, allow the Canadian coined 6God accreditation to street savvy the suburban undertones his Degrassi reputation awarded him. Drizzy along with Ye, Pharrell, & Cole (perhaps more) forged a freedom of righteousness into the Phariseed facade of what many now call new skool Rap culture. It’s now ok for generic Hip-Hop artists alike to mainstream-steer their careers away from street life, enough to avoid over publicized drug abuse, jail, & darkly devastating (while sullenly common lately) deaths. 

Feeling compelled to publicly comment on the relevance or lack thereof of the book, I kept things trill. Deep and sensitive artists, who happen to mainstream, are still deep and sensitive. So in light of Drake's new poetic paperback, we should probably read it in a deep and sensitive way too. Because it's Drake we’re referring to, reading it in that way, should be ok. 👌

recently I found out that the granddaughter (shes about 4 years old) of a family friend likes dinosaurs and as someone who loved dinosaur throughout their 19 years living, I took upon the task to show her all the cool and interesting dinosaur that from all my dinosaur books

especially my newest dinosaur encyclopedia that has big pictures of the dinosaur and other prehistoric animals with information about them presented in a fun way

my little "dino lessons" to her only happened twice but it brings me so much joy

being able to share my love towards the wonderous creatures of the past makes me so happy and her little smile while listening to my rambling about them and adding things and asking questions just makes me oh so happy

maybe this'll also be a great motivator for me to push forward and attempt to study paleontology even if it takes me multiple tries to get into uni (I'm in last year of high school and theres only one university in my country where i could study it)

Chiefs from across 14 First Nations as well as federal Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations Gary Anandasangaree came together in Saskatoon on Tuesday to settle Treaty Salaries Specific Claims, with over $37 million going to the First Nations.

The government of Canada said these claims came from the withholding of treaty annuity and salary payments that were owed to chiefs between 1885 and 1951.

“The resolutions of these claims is an important step in renewing relationships with First Nations. For far too long, Canada has withheld treaty annuities and salary payments that were rightfully owed to your communities. As a country, it’s our duty to acknowledge and address these historic wrongs and move forward, together,” Anandasangaree said.

Chief Delbert Wapass from Thunderchild First Nation said they held a pipe ceremony before the event.

“We could not talk about treaty, we could not talk about things that are spiritual without having a pipe ceremony,” Wapass said. [...]
