i've been so tired of google's new legal liability bot sitting on top of the existing highlighted result, taking up page space and either parroting exactly what the highlighted result said or offering completely unrelated or incorrect results, that i actually cheered when this came up:

"oh but AI is experimental -"

the bot told people to eat glue on pizza. you can talk yourself blue in the face about the bot's learning curve and how "it'll be improved with time", but maybe a bot being touted as the latest and greatest in scouring the internet for accurate information should not come with a permanent glaring disclaimer of "it's still learning / results may not be accurate!" as the generative AI ouroboros continues to keep on chewing.

It is a spam bot!!!! Do not click any links or images they're stealing and reposting. The links take you to dubious sites with explicit porn ads and the like. Posts they make seem convincing because they steal not only the art but the original posters comment and tags except with an added "...(readmore)" linking to their site. The images also show a link ending in .io under them.

Something that rlly pisses me off sometimes is whenever tags like "gay", "trans" or "transgender" are trending it's just chock-full of p0rn, most of it posted by bots. Like I wouldn't be that mad abt it if tumblr was still allowing nsfw content but NO. The second a user posts something that might vaguely cross the line to soft-core p0rn/nsfw-ish content it's an immediate block, delete, get outta here! But all this obvious, blatantly c0ck n puss in your face gets a pass. Because of course it does.
