wound: How does your OC handle being wounded? Are their wounds mostly physical? Mental? Emotional? What's the worst wound your OC has ever experienced?

Ara: LIke a damn champ. Queen of dissociation here folks. She can take almost any hit and turn around and smack you back. It was literally beaten into her. Emotional wounds on the other hand are incredibly new to her and she is almost paralyzed by them. Longing? Desire? Jealousy???? Who's that?? Why can't she breathe around you? Is she having a reaction to something??? Did someone poison her? Oh you mean it's just because she saw someone linger their touch on you for a little too long? Well that's incredibly troublesome. She doesn't really keep track of 'worst' wounds but she most dislikes being stabbed in the thigh because healing takes so long and her movement is so affected. Luckily it doesn't happen very often. :)

Yuuri: She's in the middle average as far as pain tolerance goes. She'd say she has a high pain tolerance if you're not a FREAK like most of the people she goes to school with (affectionate). With how often she's ended up in the middle of overblot situations, she's toughened up quite a bit as far as garden variety cuts and bruises go. As far as worst injury it was probably getting fucking beaned in the head by the spelldrive disk LOL She's grateful the nurses know magical healing.

Rat: Decently. Like Ara, he was trained to dissociate and ignore pain. Unlike Ara, he doesn't have as steadfast of a constitution, so there's definitely a point that he breaks. He also can get a little lightheaded when in the face of too much gore. A little blood is no problem but full on gushing makes him woozy. He is also incredibly new to the 'allowed to have emotions' thing but he has a tendency to turn any emotion into Anxiety so it's not too different from his usual state of existence. His worst injury was having six of his fingers broken.

skin: How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they grapple with anything that lives inside them—a beast, a curse, a failure, a monster? How do they face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of themself? Are they able to acknowledge it at all?

Ara: Man this is such a great question and but I really struggled with it. None of the kiddos are quite sure. In some ways, Ara is very comfortable in her skin. She knows her physical limits and her capabilities. For a long time, she had no real opinion of what lived inside of her because she truly thought that the answer was 'nothing'. She was taught to have no opinions or wants, so there was nothing for her to consider. Later, once she starts making friends and building a life for herself, the fears do grow. She fears she is too far gone to stand beside the people she loves as equals. She wonders if they knew what she is capable of and what she has done if they would be disgusted with her. She wonders if they would hate her for the lengths she would go to protect them. On a more surface level degree, she has just begun having feelings of wanting to be...prettier. Or just 'pretty'. She depends on Yuuri, Ortho and Vil a lot to help her because she has really no idea what she's doing.

As with most things, she faces these insecurities and fears with a very pragmatic outlook. Even when she indulges in more human emotions, she also knows that she would lock it all back away if she needed to.

Yuuri: Yuuri's greatest struggle is with her fear of uselessness. She doesn't want to be nothing but a burden to her friends, and not having magic concerns her more than she tries to let on. She would absolutely find herself withdrawing out of fear of burdening her friends if she didn't have Grim, Ace and Deuce there to knock some sense into her.

Rat: Rat knows he's a weakling. He was bottom of the heap in the Hive and he's not much better at NRC. In his opinion, the smallest weakest version of him is just...the usual version. This does cause him a lot of angst, but like Ara he was raised in a culture of action. Since leaving the Hive he only hopes to be of some use to her, even if he can't be as strong or powerful as others. He ends up discovering he has an eye for tech, which starts to make him feel like he might have something to offer.

Ge ready for a long bit of reading friends!

Background info to know so you don't get confused about Alken: Alken is a god from TWST. He was banished to Yuu's world by the other gods after getting in a fight with his brother and killing him. Alken ruled over Yuu's world for hundreds upon thousands of years (He was a very bad god) until he fell in love with a human that so happens to be Yuu's ancestor. Unfortunately for Alken Yuu's ancestor despised him and wanted to end him no matter what. Yuu's ancestor was able to kill Alken's living form and send it back to Twisted wonderland so Alken wouldn't be able to heal it. Alken was trapped as a spirit watching his love and killer live on with a happy family.

Info: Kasche is the god of death, he is the son of Alken and a goddess who is not known yet. His current lore is that he believes Yuu is the Goddess of life and fertility he also believes that the goddess of life and the god of death should be together

(Of course Yuu got to Twisted wonderland like the perfect but just slightly different so I explain how both Donnie and Yuu got there)

How Yuu got to Twisted wonderland: Yuu was out picking berries for a pie when she tripped on a rock and was sent flying off a cliff. Yuu passed out which let Alken take hold of her body. Using Yuu's body Alken opens a portal to Twisted wonderland (His original domain) to find his damaged body but Yuu is able to exile Alken from her body. Yuu being very weak from Alken taking over her body passes out on the side of the road where the black carriage picks her up and takes her to NRC.

How Donnie got to TWST:  (When Alken used Yuu's body to enter TWST he was unable to close it since Yuu exiled him from her body before he could so that's how Donnie enters TWST) There’s a big explosion outside the school. Crowley goes to investigate and finds a young boy around 14 years old with brown hair. Crowley takes the boy to the infirmary. Crowley tells the dorm leaders (and Yuu) about the boy. They all go to the infirmary (Yuu drags Grim, Ace, and Deuce) the young boy is awake but you can’t really see his face because of bandages. Once he sees Adeuce he starts to freak out. The young boy tries to attack Adeuce but is held back by one of the dorm leaders. Yuu realizes that the boy has the same heart scare that is on his ankle as hers and takes off the bandages to see Donnie’s face all scratched up. Yuu tears up and gently hugs Donnie. All the guys are confused till Yuu explains that Donnie is her brother.

Back story: Yuu and Donnie did come from a loving family. Their father would take them camping all the time (which led Yuu to have a pretty good survival instinct) and their mother would always make cookies for them, you know normal family stuff. It seemed like a perfectly amazing family but one day the father found out Donnie actually wasn't his kid and that Yuu's mother had cheated on him with another man which got her pregnant with Donnie. Yuu's father got drunk and killed her mother in a drunken rage. Yuu's father realized what he did and quickly hid the body (Yuu saw it all). The day after, Yuu's father takes Donnie and her out for a "Fun family camping trip like usual". It seemed normal till at midnight Yuu's father rolled a tarp out and placed a sleeping 6 year old Donnie onto it. Yuu's father grabs his gun and hands it to Yuu whom he had woken up once he placed everything together. Yuu's father tells her to shoot Donne but she refuses with a terrified look on her face. Yuu's father tries to angrily grab the gun from Yuu but she keeps tugging it away, after a bit of tugging Yuu accidentally pulls the trigger shooting her father in the head and killing him. Yuu, terrified of what she did (She's 8 at the time) grabs supplies and places a blanket over her father's head. Yuu wakes up Donnie and pulls him along into the forest without showing him their Father. (While running Donnie scrapes his knee) After a long while of running the two siblings come upon a cleared out area of the forest that has rocks lined up in a circular in some sort of ritual-like way. A tall man dressed as a jester approaches the two, he offers some food which the two hungerly scarf down as the man magically heals Donnie's scrape. The man offers a place to stay at “his” cabin, Yuu accepts and the man takes the two to his cabin. In the cabin the two siblings see pictures of clowns performing in the circus. The jester-like man offers for the two to stay longer if they're willing to help him. The two agree and shake the man's hand, the two feel a painful burning sensation on their bodies. A small red heart appears on the back of Yuu's neck while a red heart forms on Donnie's ankle. The man then introduces himself as Alken, the god of chaos and mischief. Yuu raises Donnie in the cabin but Alken sometimes helps too. When aloud, Alken can sometimes possess the two's bodies like puppets. After a long time Yuu is now 16 and she goes out to pick berries for a pie. She trips over some rocks and tumbles down a steep hill and passes out, once she wakes up she is now in TWST.

Other lore of the back story: Yuu used to live in a village that would kill people that were found to be "Witches" (Think of the witch trials in America during the 1800's). When Yuu was five some of the community accused her family of being witches since they used herbs to heal and believed in many gods the just one like the towns folk. They chased Yuu's family out of the village and into the forest. Yuu's mother had just given birth to a little girl who was terrible deformed which caused her a lot of breathing problems and since Yuu's mother had just given birth she was extremely weak and couldn't run far. The towns folk were able to catch up. Yuu's pleaded with the villagers that had chased his family to let them go. The villagers however did not listen to his please but instead said they'd leave them alone if Yuu's father gave the new born baby (They called the baby a monster since they thought she was a hell spawn) to them and never returned. Yuu's father did as the villagers demanded and gave them the baby. Yuu's family left to leave in a cottage in the woods after that. a few years later when Yuu was seven she and Donnie snuck back into the village to go to a fair. even though they both wore masks and disguises they were found out and given the "Witches mark" which was a hot brand that marked them as witches. The village would give "Witches" the witches mark to show someone was accused of being a witch. The villagers would give "found witches" a "Second chance to be purified in the eyes of god and ridden of the devil's trickery" but even if that rare chance they would still be treated worse then slaves or servants.

How did you make a sona/character without slipping into cringe territory? Like seriously, vic is charming and pretty but doesn't feel like your typical self insert mary-sue, and id love to indulge in my own but worry about unintentionally falling into the cringe pit

Hii! Don't worry, I can see what you mean but the way you phrased it came off as very judgmental so here comes a bit of rambling;

First, why does cringe bother you? Why does it stop you from doing what you want? Are you worried that you might dislike your own creation or are you worried that people are going to poke fun of it?

For a long time I've also felt ashamed of sharing my OCs with other people, or just some silly things I do because I was so afraid they would be called cringe, and it sucks when people (esp if they're your friends) won't support your likes or your creations and call it ''cringe'', it makes you self conscious and it makes you want to give up on that thing. That silly thing that brings you happiness. Shortly after I got in the twst fandom I remember how amazed I was that so many people would draw Yuu in their own way, be it different genders, appearences completely out of the ordinary, OCs for each dorms, and I was like ''wait, we can do that?!'' because it's been so long since I've been in a fandom enviroment where OCs and self inserts are widely accepted. I wouldn't have made an OC if I hadn't seen other people doing it too. It made me realize it was ok, that I wouldn't be judged, that I wasn't alone. And I also realized that your OC doesn't need to have a super complex writing for them to be likeable or accepted; not gonna lie, I often don't find many OCs interesting. I also dislike mary sues, and sometimes I've come across some and thought ''this character is too bland'' or ''this could use some work'' but then I realized one very important thing; Not everyone makes their content for clout - some people just want to self-indulge and make content for themselves, and that's ok!

Other content creators literally owe me nothing, and if they want their self insert to be a uwu bean baby and also the strongest magician ever and also loved by all the characters in the school, then they're on their right! I'm also on my right to not find this type of character interesting, so I just keep scrolling. I think everyone has seen at least once a OC who just don't click with their tastes, and there's nothing to do about it. Some things just aren't for everyone.

What's not okay however is being rudely vocal about how you dislike someone's creation; it doesn't matter if the OC looks like it was drawn by a 11-yo in MS paint on early 2000s deviantart, or if the writing it just bland or terrible; it still gives you no right to shit on other people's creations that they're proud of. They're not harming anyone, they just want to have fun, just like everyone else. Not everyone starts off as a great artist or writer, and if they want to get better they need to start off somewhere! You will never grow if you don't dive it in and try, even if it looks terrible at first.

Cringe culture makes so many people self conscious about self-indulging and just doing what makes them happy and honestly its so saddening………. So the solution is, fuck cringe culture. Fuck it, make your self insert, make your favorite characters fall in love with you, make catboys OCs and show them to the world! I swear, once you stop thinking ''what if it's cringe'' and just do whatever you want to do you will feel great. 80% of my content is purely self-indulgent, sometimes I feel insecure as well but most times I think ''nah this is my blog, if somebody is gonna dislike it then that's their problem'' and after starting to think more like this I realized this is the happiest and more comfortable I've been in making content for a fandom in AGES. It's so fulfilling and it brings me immense joy and comfort, even if the fandom unfortunately had become very toxic.

…That was a lot of text sorry 😅 now finally talking about my OC, I'm glad you like her! It struck me how some people say how ''unique'' she is even if she has a generic design 😂 she's got that charm that draws people to her and honestly I wasn't expecting that would happen asdkjdskjjkfsjk Now I don't think it's right for me to say how to not make a OC ''cringe'' because that would make it seem I'm belittling every other OC that doesn't have the same qualities as my OC, and that's not it - every oc is unique in their own way because their creators poured their heart on them. I can however pinpoint the ways on how I build her character uniquely, and (maybe) the reasons why people got attracted to her character; ::A disclaimer first is that none of these traits are definitive qualities in making a good character, this is just my own personal point of view::

Well the first thing I can think of is that when I make characters especially if they're self inserts is that I don't take them too seriously. I don't try too hard into making it seem it's an ACTUAL character from that fictional universe - They don't need any obscure motivation, fantastical habilities or a anime-personality trope, I just want them to be them. Just like you said, I wanted to avoid running into the mary sue archetype, and for that my character NEEDS to have flaws. I allow them to have awkward and embarrassing moments. I allow them to be expressive. Lots of people when creating an OC or a sona uses fiction as reference; fictional characters to base them on, and they're right they should use references; however when using exclusively fictional reference such as anime and cartoon, I don't think you can convey a truly relatable character. It's VERY important to take inspiration from real life too; Use your real life experiences and apply them to your character. How do you feel about a certain thing? How do you act in this certain situation? Or if you don't want to use yourself as reference, maybe use somebody you know or that you've seen - Take inspiration from your experiences and the real world. The character will come off much more natural and human, and that will naturally attract people to them; because they're truly relatable.

The other thing is cartoonish exaggeration - now this applies for my case, but I believe making your character expressive in lots of funny ways is also a certain way to make the character charismatic! For example when I draw Vic I either make her ''normal'' or make her a small squished gremlin 😂 and I didn't expect the chibi Vic to get so popular but ppl love her I guess lol so it's important to have a balance between the ''human and relatable'' side and the ''silly cartoon'' side!

1. Jazmi used to watch those eating challenge videos when she was 9-13, and would watch them while eating. Besides watching Rollercoaster death videos or Rollercoaster accident videos, she wouldn't watch anything else.

2. Sapphire was prone to eating a LOT of weird things as a child, and was not limited to throwing up on poor Estella when they didn't agree with his stomach.

3. Mouse has eaten roadkill before.

4. Amor tried to take selfies of himself in the bathroom before, and accidentally tripped and smashed his head against the mirror and broke it. He refuses to acknowledge it happened or that he did it, even though Ivy was in the bathroom when it happened and constantly brings it up when he sees Amor posting on social media.

5. No alarm in the fucking WORLD will wake Kaba up, not even an earthquake, not even those ear piercingly loud ones that could wake up satan himself. An explosion could go off, and she wouldn't move a muscle.

6. Mouse ate Neige's makeup a lot when they were little. They also ate pretty much anything they could fit in their mouth.

7. After a basketball game, Lux tried to slap Azira's back, and Azira quickly dodged it, and they ended up smacking themself in the face full force.

8. Sapphire constantly tries to give/feed Faira cat nip to see what'll happen.

9. Poison drinks copious amounts of coffee and will even eat handfuls of straight up coffee beans. They drank so much one time, they physically started to shake and vibrate for three hours, then when it wore off he passed out and didn't move from his position for a solid 14 hours.

10. Sting likes to trap bugs in cups and containers, and spray them with bug spray till they die. She also enjoys burning them with magnifying glasses, or using lighter and hair spray to light them on fire.

11. Lux was dropped on accident as a baby once. Ace did it, and has never told anyone, and often thinks to himself that it's the reason Lux acts the way he is now.

12. Faira has owned over ten birds, and they keep dying in the weirdest ways imaginable. The last one died because Che'nya went to feed it, it got scared and had a heart attack, and died. Faira now brings his bird to school and keeps it in his room.

16. Toxic will shock Kaba with electricity out of no where, and she can't do shit because she knows he won't stop.

17. Azira has peppersprayed Ivy before because he wouldn't go away. Ivy wasn't even asking him out or trying to flirt, he was just being annoying.

19. Sometimes the shadows will just tease Spider, liking to annoy them whether than threaten their life because it amuses them more. They've jumpscared them in the shower, flipped over their bed at night, hid and stolen their shit in the most obscure places, whispered in their ear that they're gay nonstop, and made their food vanish.

20. Lux stole one of Amor's scarfs, and put it on a teddy bear he would practice flirting with. Amor only found out about this when MC posted a video on snapchat (Or whatever the magic equivalent is) of Lux flirting with the bear, and had the caption "Rizz" on it. Note, MC had no idea what this word meant at the time but had heard it before. Lux proceeded to throw away the scarf when he found out, and now none of them talk about it.

21. Quin ate many strange things as a child, and has miraculously survived. These items include three buttons, 28 sewing needles Crewel owned, a patch of fabric, three sticks, the ink in an ink pen, two double A batteries, multiple hair pins, the liquid inside Crewel's eyeliner, Multiple cigarette buds, and multiple coins.

22. Ivy caught Dove kissing a mop before to practice kissing when they were younger, and he laughed so hard he nearly peed himself.

Harvest refuses to do Kahoots because Lux, Mouse, and a few other students have used the most obscure fucking names on the planet, to the point she couldn't take it anymore one day and had to physically stop herself from throwing a chair at Lux when he put "Jack Goff" as his username. She instead told the whole class the game was off the limits for the rest of the year.

24. Quin and Jewel have caught each other smoking behind the school more times than either can count on both hands. They just have a silent agreement on not reporting each other to Celeste.

25. Celeste will hire anybody. As long as you're not a bigot, abuser, or anything else of that nature she will hire you.

26. Emerald is wanted in multiple districts, and is banned from the Queendom of Roses.

27. Mouse knows how to speak to rats.

28. For the love of God, do not email Quin after 5pm. You will NOT get an answer from this man at all, and don't expect to get one unless you send it during school hours. This man is barely functioning as is. He sure as hell is not gonna give his personal energy to you unless he absolutely has to.

29. Virsk was changed from testosterone patches to pills after Idia caught him cracking open them after he used them and eating the insides after thinking it would give him more T.

30. Sapphire was an absolute LEASH kid. From as soon as he could walk, to the age of eleven, he had to kept on a leash if he wasn't being held. He's had four leashes throughout this time, and Vil has had to replace two of them because he chewed through them, the other one got lost when Rook let go of him by accident for two seconds and he ran off, and when Rook found him the leash was no where to be found.

|| OKAY THE MUSICAL ENDED!!! I think Hadestown beat HAMILTON as my favorite musical, at least by the staging of it all. I was SO surprised all the time. Chant was definitely my favorite, but SUPER close to that was Doubt Come In?? Which I was NOT expecting oMG….. The fates were my favorite hands down. Also, I compare Kira a lot to Eurydice, but I realized she is LIA!!! Beans Day and How my OCs Fare During

Happy Beans Day has finally dropped in EN and while absolutely no one asked, here are some headcanons about how Yuulan and the rest of my twst babies would do during the event. 

First, who would be on which team.

As my designated yuusona, Yuulan experiences Beans Day more or less the same way as MC in the game. She fares reasonably well with her wit and always mentally being one step ahead of even her teammates. She’s wary af after Cater sent Deuce adrift and isn’t too keen on him always tagging their location in his magicam pics and after they all almost get caught in the botanical garden…yeah, she’s had enough. 

Briefly meets up with Crisanta and they make a good duo. This is their first real moment interacting with each other and they get along well. Crisanta ends up sacrificing herself to keep Yuulan in the game.

She’s understandably pissed that both Taima and Sidonie are on the monster team but she deals well. The night before, she and Taima come to a soul sisters agreement to leave each other alone during the event, and for the most part, they do. 

Tries to make the same agreement with Sidonie but Vil doesn’t allow it and Rook is strangely very excited at the prospect of capturing the petit cygne of Pomefiore.

Begins her day in the same starting point as Epel and they keep each other company for the first few hours. Though small in frame, she’s actually very fast and physically agile from years of dancing and she and Epel are able to keep each other safe up until they run into Riddle and Vil. 

Regrets it immediately when Vil won’t stop scolding her for wearing a scented moisturizer that could give them away. And when Floyd joins the group she tries to convince Vil that he’d be a liability but he doesn’t listen. At this point, Danica lowkey wants to leave because she doesn’t like Floyd’s nickname for her and she’s concerned his mood swings may compromise them later. But she stays because there’s power in numbers and even her agility has its limits. 

After getting separated from her group at the botanical garden, Danica is on her own for the remainder of the game. She runs into Ione and uses her last beans on her. She tries to run further in the woods to put some distance between herself and potential monsters with the plan to find a crate with more beans before finding her group again. She does find a crate but it ends up being her undoing when the crate turns out to be a trap and she’s ambushed by the science club trio.

Tries (and fails) to convince Idia to join in on the fun since they’re both on the same team. Spends the majority of her day with a handful of Heartslabyul students also on her team until they get separated in an ambush

Briefly meets up with Yuulan and since she’s never seen Crisanta do anything duplicitous or stupid (yet), she feels slightly better about teaming up with her. 

The duo is spotted by Trey but Crisanta sacrifices herself to keep Yuulan in the game. Really, she is about on Riddle’s level of physical prowess and it’s incredible that she’s made it this long. So lowkey, she was looking for a way out anyway.

Unlike Danica, Iman has the good fortune of her BFF being on the same team as her. Even though they are at separate starting points, they eventually do find each other. She does pretty well in the first hours of the day and doesn’t deal with any ambushes until she runs into Farron and Maximilian who ambush her at a crate box. Or so they thought.

As it turns out, Iman has been CHEATING by using her UM* when it looks like she’ll be captured. Because she didn’t want to team up with anyone, it was only a matter of time before was eliminated but she doesn’t want that either; she’s trying to hold out long enough to meet up with her partner in crime Vidaria. She ends up beaning Maximilian and bribes him and Farron to not rat her out, which they agree to. At least Maximilian agrees, Farron on the other hand…

Finally, Iman does find Vidaria, softly weeping behind a tree. She has not had a good day at all and she’s thrilled to have a friend beside her finally. Since her hiding place is pretty secluded, they decide to stay there for the time being, camping and sniping any solo monsters that come around. Vidaria’s loot crate included a radio, so she knows when monsters are close. This works for a while…until the science club trio begins approaching them. Vidaria REALLY does not want to interact with Rook so in a moment of genuine kindness and friendship, Iman creates a diversion where she bolts off right in their direction so Vidaria can run in the opposite way. Surprisingly, this works. 

She plans to make a run for the botanical garden, but Sidonie is aware of her using her UM and can outwit her. She captures Iman and pretends not to notice the apparent violation of the beanfest rules. Iman goes off to the botanical garden anyway, having lunch with Kalim and attempting (unsuccessfully) to warn him of the approaching monsters. She leaves, but not before wrapping up some shawarma to give Vidaria at her new hiding spot. 

The following day, Iman is called into a meeting with Crowley and Coach Vargas. Turns out Farron DID tell them about Iman cheating and Sidonie doing the same added strength to his testimony. She’s suspended from classes for two weeks, confined to her dorm but not before being given an extra special training regiment with Vargas. If Iman disliked Sidonie before because of her rivalry with Vidaria, she’s DEFINITELY on her shitlist now, Farron too.

This entire event brings up less than pleasant childhood memories for her, so she’s not very excited about it and even the prospect of teaming up with Iman does little to console her. The night before, Silver creates a calming potion that she relies on for most of the day. She begins at the same starting point as Epel and Danica and while the latter isn’t overfond of her, they reluctantly agree to team up. 

During an ambush at a loot crate, Vidaria gets separated from them but she isn’t all that upset about it. She runs into Malleus and he decides to humor her and allow her to follow behind him. They don’t talk much but Malleus’ strength is such that Vidaria really doesn’t have to use her bean shooter at all. She thinks she can deal with this until she and Iman can meet up. 

Until they run into Lilia, who teases Malleus about protecting his bride as he tries to capture her. Malleus prevents this and gets into a very heated duel with his vice dorm leader. But sadly, this incident triggers Vidaria’s PTSD and she’s run out of Silver’s potion by this point. She ends up running off deeper into the woods, finding a large tree to hide behind, and cry. 

Iman finds her like this and her presence helps bring Vidaria back to reality and by the time they’ve parted ways, she’s in a much better mental state. She finds a new hiding place at the stables where she and Iman meet up again towards the end of the day. But she is captured by a Heartslabyul student on the monster team. Later that night, Lilia apologizes to Vidaria for frightening her and gives her an anti-anxiety potion more potent than the one Silver gave her. She now takes it weekly, and it has done wonders for her state of mind. 

Taima is physically the strongest of all my twst ocs and fares extremely well during this event compared to most everyone else. Unfortunately, she starts off at the same starting point as Ace and Sebek. She gets along well with the former but the latter…well let’s just say she’s still salty about the spelldrive tournament and he’s still waiting for an apology. 

At some point, this monster trio runs into Danica but Taima is determined to keep their promise and neither girl attacks each other. Ace goes chasing after her (which ends up being his undoing) and Sebek loudly scolds Taima for letting Danica escape. He demands that if they run into her again, Taima won’t hold back and she agrees. If Sebek will keep that energy if they run into Malleus. He does not reply. 

Both are eliminated early but their time together is surprisingly civil, even amiable at times. And what ends up doing them in surprisingly is NOT Sebek’s chronic inability to lower his voice but an incident where Taima slips and falls in a creek attempting to get away from him in a fit of frustration. Her ankle is sprained and Sebek decides to carry her to the infirmary himself despite her protests. Though she will never admit it, Taima’s opinion of Sebek is slowly improving and vice versa. 

“Why is it, everytime we’re together, I end up injured?” 

What Sidonie lacks in physical prowess, she makes up for with her intellect. She nearly captures Danica and Epel (thanks to Danica’s scented lotion) but didn’t count on the former being so fast. 

Ends up spending her day with Rook and Trey (yay, science club trio!) and together make a very dangerous monster trio. They end up catching a lot of farmers between her keenness helping to keep flying beans at bay, Rook’s passion for hunting the other students, even if just for fun, and Trey makes a good leader of the group too. Though she could stand for a little less teasing from Rook about her mutual crush on Trey. 

After Danica get’s separated from her group at the botanical garden, the trio corner her and, this time, manage to capture her since she’s out of beans by this point. Later, Sidonie gets sniped with Trey by Jade.

The only people at NRC that Ione gets along with are Riddle and Crisanta and they’re both on the farmer team so she’s not really into the game from the start. 

Runs into Danica when she’s alone and when the latter immediately goes on the offensive, she doesn’t even bother defending herself. Danica ends up using her last beans on Ione but deep down, Ione couldn’t be more thrilled to be out of the game. 

Joins Maximilian with a team of assorted monsters and his athleticism is instrumental in helping his team capture several farmers. His teammates outside his dorm are actually surprised to realize how strong Farron really is, considering his willowy appearance. 

Towards the middle of the day, his team encounters Malleus. Farron wants to leave him be since he (rightfully) thinks his group is no match for him but because the group is made up of mostly ignorant freshmen and Maximilian makes a hobby of always choosing violence, they do engage with the dragon fae and get their asses handed to them. Out of the group of seven monsters, only Farron, Maximilian, and one Octanivelle freshman remain. 

Later, the three ambush Iman at a farmer's loot crate and Farron discovers she’s cheating by using her UM. Maximilian and their Octanivelle companion are beaned but Iman bribes them. Farron takes no bribe but promises to remain quiet…with his fingers crossed...

Begins the day at the same starting point as Ace, Sebek and Taima and joins them for the first few hours. Joins Ace when he goes after Danica and is nearly beaned by her, Ace is not so lucky though. 

When he tries to return to Sebek and Taima, he finds Farron’s group instead and figures he’d fare better with them. This turns out to be the right call until they run into Malleus. 

When Iman takes him out, she bribes him with a pair of very rare green diamonds. So he promises to keep quiet about her cheating. Farron makes his disapproval clear but surprisingly, he doesn’t rat out his senpai for taking the bribe and Maximilian ends the day with only minor bruises to his pride and a lovely new set of rare diamonds. His only regret? He wishes Jade could have been the one to bean him. 

*I’ll be adding Iman’s profile soon but basically, her UM is called “Desert Mirage”. She splits herself in two with only the double (or mirage) being visible for a brief amount of time. Whatever she is doing before triggering her UM is what the mirage will do. For example, if she’s being chased, she triggers her UM so the person chasing her unknowingly goes after her mirage and she can go in an opposite direction.
