What is an American bully XL and should they be banned? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-66775985
The root of the increase in dog attacks is fairly simple:
Over Covid, people bought and adopted dogs that they couldn’t properly train or look after then the lockdowns ended. No dog breed should be BANNED, only specific OWNERS. In all of the cases referenced in the article, there is no mention of an owner being anywhere nearby- the dog being out of control is because the owner is not fucking controlling it.
“It’s a MASSIVE dog!! 60kg!” Yeah and Irish Wolfhounds can get to over 80kg but you don’t see legal restrictions on them mentioned every time someone is injured by one. That’s because Irish wolfhound owners tend to know about the breed and are able to handle one.
American Bully XLs are not a problem, idiots that buy dogs they can’t control or look after are.

The prime minister of the UK has just confirmed that he will change the law to allow the conservative party to forcibly deport immigrants to Rwanda.
The SUPREME COURT of the UK found this policy unlawful, the government were told they CANNOT do this.
Their response? Change the law
This policy is a threat to the lives of refugees who fled here seeking support and asylum, as a country we should be kind and welcoming. Instead these poor people are being sent straight back into the instability and violence they risked their lives to escape.
Rwanda has a history of being used to 'sweep refugees under the rug', having signed a similar deal with Israel. The supreme court found that Rwanda has previously violated laws protecting immigrant against refoulement, as it has sent people back to the nations they fled. Directly violating international treaties and violating the rights granted to refugees and asylum seekers.
Sunak also stated that he will not allow the European human rights court to block this policy and will revisit any treaties that may act as "obstacles" to this policy.
They are trying to get out of THE INTERNATIONAL BILL OF HUMAN RIGHTS! The refugge system in Rwanda is so unsafe that this is a human rights issue! And our government want to violate those rights for thousands of immigrants they are determined not to help.
These people are hell bent on making life miserable for refugees. The deputy chair of the conservatives stated the government should "ignore the law and start the flights anyway".
Rishi Sunak is also introducing "emergency legislation" in order to force this through parliament and the courts.
Where have we heard that before?
These are the same emergency powers that allow laws to be passed without parliamentary votes. The same emergency powers that enabled the "war on terror" so the UK and US could commit war crimes. The same emergency powers used by the nazis to legitimise the holocuase
This is facism! Plain as day.
I am very very worried for the future of my country and the future of this world. Facism is not on the rise, it is here. We must watch very very closely, at home and abroad, so that we can act accordingly and protect ourselves.

Ukrainians are a mere cheap commodity to these savages
"It is extremely good value for money... Almost half of Russia's pre-war military equipment has been destroyed without the loss of a single American life. This is an investment in the United States security"
David Cameron = Disgusting 🤮🤮🤮
Secretary of State (United Kingdom)
Globalists will say the same thing about the destruction of Japan & Philippines during a war with China.
"The poor people are stupid from poverty, and the rich from greed." -Maxim Gorky
I bet there's an awful lot of people in Ukraine right now that wish their leaders had taken the peace deal that was on the table two years ago.
But Zelensky wanted to burn Donetsk to the ground, and Boris Johnson offered him a blank NATO check to do it with - and here we are.⬇️

'oh everything is awful anyway what am I expected to be happy about renationalised railways?'
TODAY. IMAGINE YOU ARE A FRIGHTENED, EXHAUSTED ASYLUM SEEKER WHO HAS BEEN HELD IN LIMBO FOR MONTHS, YEARS, BY A SYSTEM THAT SHOULD BE HELPING YOU BUT HAS BEEN DESIGNED AT EVERY LEVEL TO EXPRESS ITS CONTEMPT FOR YOU.
TODAY. YOU KNOW NOW YOU WILL NOT BE DEPORTED TO RWANDA BY THIS SYSTEM.
No one, today, is trying to tear down something literally called the Human Rights Act so they can send you to a country that will not protect you if you're queer, that is happy to act as a glorified jail in return for cash.
I keep saying it, but this is not nothing. Some lives have been improved today, already. Can they be improved further? My god yes. And I don't know that Yvette Cooper is the person to do it. But let's allow ourselves a moment of relief on behalf of things like this, hm?

A NUMBER OF CAUSTIES RESULTING FROM US AND BRITISH AIRSTRIKES ON YEMEN, ANSAR-ALLAH RESPONDS
📹 Scenes of the dead and wounded at a hospital in Hodeidah, Yemen, after American and British warplanes bombed the radio building in the city.
According to Al-Mayadeen, the United States and Britain targeted Sana'a and Hodeidah in Yemen with a total of 13 raids, resulting in the death of two people, and wounded several others.
US and British airstrikes on Thursday/Friday night targeted the capital of Sana'a, along with the port of Al-Salif, in the Hodeidah Governate, and Al-Hawk district, south of Hodeidah.
Three other raids targeted Al-Nahdain area, another the Sana'a international airport, while third struck the coastal area of Ghalifaqa, in the Al-Durayhimi district, south of the Hodeidah Governate.
Local residents reported that American and British bombing targeted the Radio Tower in in Al-Hawk district, on the coast of the Red Sea, in Yemen's west, killing two people and wounding a several others.
Also targeted was the communications network in the Haifan district, south of Taiz Governate, in the southwest of Yemen, while two other strikes bombed the Jarban area of the Sanhan district, south of Sana'a.
In response to the strikes, Al-Mayadeen says a member of Ansar-Allah movement's Politboro, Ali Al-Qahhoum, reminds that the attacks on Yemen by the United States and Britain are nothing new, and that the aggression by the two Western countries has been ongoing for years, and is not a result of the things going on at this moment.
He confirms that Yemen's ongoing operations, to blockade Israeli and Israeli-allied ships from the Red Sea, will continue until the siege and aggression against Gaza ends and "will not stop before that."
"If the Americans want the conflict not to expand, they must stop the aggression and siege on Gaza. Otherwise, the Yemeni strikes will continue and expand," Al-Qahhoum is quoted as saying.
“Yemen will undoubtedly respond to the aggression, and the Americans and the British will not be able to repel it, and it will certainly be a painful response."
Al-Qahhoum explains that the American and the British leadership must “realize the extent of the escalation of Yemen’s power, and that our ballistic missiles will reach their targets at sea and in our occupied land.”
He reiterated to Al-Mayadeen that Yemen "has an open hand for peace with neighboring countries, but in return it will not delay in responding to any source of aggression."
" Yemen will not yield, and the Americans and the British are opening the gates of hell upon themselves, and we advise nearby countries not to get involved again."
Al-Qahhoum concluded by saying, "The battle with the Americans and the British today is a battle of dignity and honour. Yemen has great capabilities for confrontation, and the aggressors must bear the response."

(TW: Drug Mention)
Hi everyone, I am currently completing my master's in Public Policy and was hoping to ask anyone who is Scottish or a resident (lived here for 3+ years) to fill out my 3-question survey on the introduction of Drug Consumption Rooms in Scotland. Currently struggling for numbers so would so appreciate it! No prior knowledge is needed and shouldn't take more than 5 mins. Please feel free to share with friends/family, the more the merrier - Thank you so much!
