Hi there, This might be a stupid question, so I apologize in advance, you can ignore it.

I noticed that many old ladies are fans of Louis, which is very lovely and respectable.

Me as a young girl personally liked 1d era louis, I still adore him, but he is no longer my number 1 like 1d era. And I don't get it, I'm like how, why, what is the reason that old ladies interest in Louis

I guess that's me? I mean on the one hand like.... I'm just a normal ass adult age I think, I have a ways to go to be a proper old lady/ old whatever gender I am. But otoh there's nothing wrong with being an old lady so no point in caring about that and besides from what everyone says, the answer won't change in 10 or 20 or 30 more years. Anyway... it's not a stupid question! But I already know you won't believe me when I tell you, IT'S JUST NOT DIFFERENT. No one does until later. Everyone says it but when you're young you're like hmm but no... probably fake. True for them maybe but not for me, when I get to be like 30 I will be *DIFFERENT* and MATURE and put aside childish things and read Serious Books and go to see opera only! (spoiler: you won't. You will feel exactly the same only somewhat more assertive and less confused, but your general tastes and what you find entertaining will not have changed.) So yeah, literally the answer is, for whatever reason you are a fan, same reasons probably? It's true that I don't have quite the breathless confusing overwhelm around my fan feelings as I did about things when I was a preteen, but mostly, just being a fan of music and the people who make it, being enthralled by someone's presence and, in this case, their mind and gender and persona and appreciating a pretty face and nice ass, it's no different over time. I do not want to fuck him IRL and maybe that's different than you? But honestly that's much less about age (and honestly he's a man in his 30s is that even an issue) than my own complicated gender and sexuality issues and also maybe just not personally mostly actually wanting to fuck people I've never met even if it's fun to appreciate them aesthetically. The feeling of kind of wanting to crawl inside and BECOME the object of fan focus in some way I'm pretty sure is consistent from when I was a kid right up until the present though

I often find myself thinking of certain memories. Usualy the same few ones and depending on my mood at the time determine how my emotions rect to these meorries .

For example :

Tonight I though of your last hug. You were crying because I was arguing and screaming at your mum (my aunt). You hated seeing people fighting or arguing and i knew that. So when your ran from the room crying I j ew I had hurt you and that killed me so much inside. So I came after you and i apologised and told you briefly why that argument started and you said you understood but I’ll never really know if you did or not but we hugged.

A hug so tight that I know in that moment tock so much for me to let go. Then I left and then life went back to normal.

I didn’t know in that moment that that would be our last hug.

So tonight as I think of that memory I am crying so deeply because now I know that it was our last and that I will never get to hug you like that again.

Do you ever get in a state where you're so busy going from thing to thing to thing, all of which is non optional, that you can't even seem to decompress enough to feel any kind of way about it?

You finish a stressful thing and you're so tired you can't seem to do anything but stare into the middle distance or scroll on something. And deep down you know you want to be creative or social or something that gives you joy, but you're too tired to even daydream about doing it.

I don't know if I have less capacity than everybody else, or we all feel that way all the time and that's why everybody's so unhappy under capitalism, but I feel that way whenever I'm employed and it's like...do I have to sacrifice everything I love, every part of myself that makes me feel alive, just to survive and be a contributing member of society?

What makes a Sin? Do they need to have a certain power level or resonance with a particular ring and Hell’s power just chooses them? Does becoming a Sin have any effect physically and/or mentally?

The way Sins are chosen is an intentional mystery in my verse, Hell is an alien realm with an alien mind even to those living within it

Demons were just crawling directly out of hell like maggots out a corpse in the beginning, some died, some bred and started species and whole ecosystems and shit, Evolution sped run, like if every period of life was happening at the same time - Society was getting it's start at the same time fish were learning to walk on land. The sins were all from of this first wave.

The Sins started out as regular demon warlords fighting for control of the newly created Hell, they eventually emerged as the most powerful at which point they'd have an the inner realization that they are now A Deadly Sin, even without really understanding what that means

Now, they do not know if this is something they become, or discover about themselves, their power could be why they were crowned, or they only have such power because they were born a Sin

It doesn't feel like a transformation, if it is one they aren't aware of it until after its happened. The word 'Envy' or 'Wrath' pops up in their head and it just feels right

They also aren't sure if they take their sin from the ring or if the ring takes from their most prominent trait, (is Mammon greedy because he's king of the greed ring, or is it the Greed Ring because Mammon is greedy)

They're extensions of their Ring, have a similar sense for theirs as Lilith has for hell as a whole. They can feel shift and can communicate with it to a limited degree.

This comes with pretty complete immortality, which is also why they were so quick to seek each other out, find someone who Gets It

You would think Lucifer's appearance would help answer something but he just made everything worse by quietly assuming the Pride sin in a few months and everyone only realizing after the fact

Did it happen when he first arrived(was 'given' to hell)? Well the others didn't recognize him as one then, which Beph explicitly does later, maybe when Lucifer accepted Hell in, but he forged his connection directly with the first ring later, after he had already had the realization that he was Pride - and it had been feeding off his power beforehand, he was just letting it feed him back

Maybe it's planted, grows inside them over time, until it kills them or they survive it and the line where they end and hell begins is too blurred to matter. At least you get cool cosmic powers out of it.

i talked about this much more coherently in a draft that i tragically accidentally deleted but like, even though the story is really intentional about asking the question of "are evotars the same person as whoever they're based on" and purposefully Not Answering (or, well, answering in like 4 different ways that all contradict each other), i think its pretty clear that toby and sidwell Can't be the same person in any meaningful way? like, sidwell as a person/his role in the narrative is defined by the power he leverages over other people & the various cruel and terrible choices he makes to further that power. C'tron on the other hand is brought into existence having little to no power over pretty much anything & has only one real choice he can make: continue playing along at the expense of his friends, or get tortured and die. and he chooses the latter! i think thatanswers the question of who he is pretty decisively!

idk where i was going with this post. anyway, hes just the character ever. Hes a very well practiced liar and im sure hed like people to think hes unknowable but despite going to great lengths to conceal himself, every choice he makes kind of shows his hand & he really isnt that hard to read in the end. hes a little hater who loves to complain and nitpick. He physically cant shut up about his interests (which have to be genuine bc theres no strategic advantage for him to talk about biology as much as he does). Hes terrified of the person who created him, to the point of panic (but also insists on identifying with that person). hes overwhelmed w guilt and likes feeling useful and most importantly he likes his friends. Hes so awesome and i want to put him in a blender

Feeling very meh about the new colleagues reaction to me not having a car and thus being "not much of a relief to them" when it comes to external appointments, which they definitely both totally deserve because they have children and I have not, meaning if I had a car I should take the appointments at unpleasant times. Well, in that case I am happy to disappoint and no amount of "you should buy a car again" could convince me to buy a car JUST for work when what I really want is to save some sweet money.
