Welcome to the Abandoned Barn!
Some possible plot hooks for this map:
- Strange necromantic energy has come over this place, causing the dead animals to rise as undead
- An old nature cult has taken over this place, breeding bees and wasps to create killer wasps
-A terrifying monster haunts the loft, but it isactually an innocent farmer cursed to look hideous
You can find the ungridded and daytime versions of the map here.

Wow! I’m embarrassed that I ever thought Team Unova was a hard fight back when Masters was new! We literally had everything we need to clear that fight in Misty, Hau, and Korrina! UNGRIDDED, mind you! I mean, you have to manage your gauge so you can pull off enough Close Combats to kill Stoutland before it syncs, but otherwise, not the headache I remember it being!

“books-are-my-life-stuff: Thanks, I really hope so. Not really close to spark, still at 264 scout points. To be fair, I had a rough time to get Irida too a while ago, she arrived at 231 scout points. There's not much time left, so hoping the last batch of gems from Battle Villa would work. If not...well, I'll wait until he gets a rerun whenever that is.“
Godspeed.  I hope he cooperates.
“Any eggmons that can take hits and give +2 attack works for SS N to be honest, I just prefer Sawyer because he's better at taking hits and can flinch. Oh, and don't worry, SS N worked really well in CS, even when I left him ungridded. I dual strike a lot with him (usually with Winter Leon, now with Irida) because he only needed gauge at first turn if you rotate his attack > buddy move > attack > so on. He also didn't interrupt sync countdown. He's tricky to use, but fun.”
Good to know.  My current plan is to leave him at 1/5, so we’ll see how he performs.  I have an idea for something, but no idea if it will actually like...work.  Fingers crossed, I guess.

Finished the Extreme Battles! Teams and strategies below.
Diantha
Diantha's gimmick is the same as Latias's; more buffs = less damage. She also relies on inflicting status to freeze or burn.
The team for this was Sycamore, EV Lyra, and May. Lyra is FANTASTIC for this; she guarantees speed and sp. def debuffs, overlaps accuracy debuffs with May, allows May to focus on dps with rain, and also protects the team from any random crits. May replaces the hail with rain on demand and works on whittling down HP, while Sycamore tanks.
The important grid tiles for Sycamore are his Horn Leech healing tiles and Healing Hand; I also went for his TM refresh, but didn't get it so it doesn't matter too much. Important tiles for May are On A Roll for debuffing, Dire Rain so she doesn't have to rely on her TM to boost crit, Refreshing Rain for healing, and the nearby Muddy Water Accuracy tiles. My Lyra is 1/5 and ungridded.
The strategy is fairly simple: replace the Hail with Rain, then spam Muddy Water. Lyra's TM doesn't matter too much since Sycamore will boost all of the relevant stats anyways, so she can skip directly to using Fake Tears on Diantha. Sycamore can hope for Sp. Atk debuffs with Moonblast, but will have to switch to using Horn Leech fairly soon. Sycamore syncs first of course, then Lyra takes over to keep up rain.
I won first try, despite misplaying a bit: I used Muddy Water with Lyra first, instead of Fake Tears; Fake Tears would've allowed May to start doing more damage quicker, and the speed debuffs only mattered later into the match when only Diantha was left. I also should have focused on taking down the sides earlier on and denying their turns, so May could do more damage to Diantha herself.
Alder
Alder focuses on debuffing defenses and using ghost zone to quickly use powerful attacks.
I hit optimize for this team, since I figured it would give me Lysandre, Sawyer, and Sycamore like during Stadium, but instead it gave Rachel, Sawyer, and Sycamore, and I figured why not. Sycamore tanks, while Rachel debuffs and heals, and Sawyer focuses on flinches.
Sycamore kept the grid from the previous EB, and Healing Hand healed quite a few burns from Heat Wave. The most important grid tile for Rachel is synchro healing; I also gave her First Aid 4 and Unyielding, though she never got to use them, alongside her TM refresh, which also ended up being unimportant because I accidentally wasted the one I got. Sawyer’s grid needs Aggravation and Dire Hit All refresh; the team is speedy enough that gauge refreshes weren’t necessary; he also has Endurance and Synchro Healing, but once again, he didn’t get low enough to need them, and Rachel stayed alive the whole time.
The first turn before Sycamore’s sync was limited on gauge, so Rachel and Sycamore used their 2-gauge moves while Sawyer buffed crit (Rachel’s speed buffs are unimportant). After the sync, Sycamore switched to healing with Horn Leech, while Sawyer was queue’d last to ideally deny turns with flinches; Rachel stayed with Snarl since it helped whittle down HP. Turn denial was important here, both with flinching and knocking out the sides, as it allowed Rachel to sync more to keep the teams health up. Once the sides were down, Sawyer’s job became a lot easier, as he only had one target to flinch. Alder alternated between Heat Wave and Hyperbeam; Sycamore can tank a Hyperbeam with his sp.defense buffed and Alder’s sp.atk debuffed, but having Rachel’s TM to apply endure is a handy backup.
My first attempt at this went poorly. For some reason, Sawyer’s grid was set on an empty grid, and Rachel’s grid also wasn’t ideal since it was focused on speed and gauge for a different team, instead of healing. I lost track of the opponents’ turns, so I failed to deny them any turns, and Sycamore got taken out with a Hyperbeam after they reached too many sync buffs. I did manage to take out the sides with only Alder left, but without Aggravation, Sawyer wasn’t able to flinch enough, and both he and Rachel were taken out.
My second attempt was the successful one as I kept better track of turns and got fairly lucky with flinching. I did misplay a bit still; I queue’d Rachel’s TM for after a Hyperbeam, but Sawyer flinched Alder, so the TM was wasted on a full health Sycamore.

Finished Silver's lodge a few days ago. Honestly he's one of the most cooperative Trainer Lodge talking partner? The game kept being mean and throwing "Fashion" as the hot topic, but Silver is willing to go along with it. Most of the interactions ended at 40%-50% interest, only very rarely he ended at 90% or 80% which is pretty impressive. Thank you, Silver.
I tested Lodge Silver and Lodge Rosa as well against Entei. Pretty strong, they basically speedran it. Maybe they don't really need rain either. Kind of want to make a grid emphasizing on Lodge Silver's freeze utility but still not sure.
I also recruited BP Sophocles because Zinfogel had been showcasing him a lot. Still ungridded, though.
After a while thinking about it, I've decided to make Hilbert graduate from Vigilance lucky skill club to Adrenaline 1 lucky skill club. Hilbert is mostly great in CSMM, and that's also when Adrenaline 1 is a valuable lucky skill. This way I could sync with Hilbert more often. Other alternative lucky skill for him was Healthy Healing for Gauntlet, but I typically teamed up Hilbert with strong strikers that wiped the stage fast, like Lodge Rosa, Lodge Silver, OG N, or Kris after expansion. Excited to EX Kris when her expansion comes, and she can finally team up with Hilbert and tech Gyarados to lift up her low attack stats.

I wanted to make a crystal cave. A place with crystals that have their own light that illuminate the interior of the Cave. This is a passing place that takes you to other dungeons in the same cave. However it is a good place to fight since the crystals have the ability to enhance fire attacks or light attacks.
You can see a preview of all content by clicking here.
If you liked the map, I'd be extremely thankful if you considered supporting me on my Patreon.
