Finished bellpull for my niece on her 3rd birthday!

I did the pattern design from scratch to create a unique and personal gift for my young niece, basing it on everything we know she likes currently.

My dear mother was so kind to do the mounting, as she's much better at sewing than I am, that's for sure!

Just so happy and proud to see it finished and turning out so nicely!

Plushy Skellies 💕(buy here)🦴 🎀 I sew these morbidly sweet stuffed animals for the love of cuteness and animal anatomy. The silhouette is sewn by machine, the bones are embroidered by hand. 🎀 Made to order. 🎀 You can choose: hare, unicorn, cat or dog 🎀 A mouse skull between the ribs can be added to the cat. The horn of the unicorn is made of ceramic clay, acrylics and fixed with glossy varnish. 🎀 They are a nice decoration for a room to put on a bed, armchair or couch. 🎀 I take orders through my Etsy (here)

On the forth day of @aggressivelyarospec's Aggressively Arospectacular 2022, I present a new addition to my pride-themed embroidery kit makeover series: an allo-aro unicorn.

This piece is stitched entirely in backstitch: even the filled-in sections of flowers and horn are formed by spiraling lines and rows. I wanted to practice stitching straight and curved lines ... and as you can tell by some wonky sections of mane, practice is needed! The end result, however, looks cute--and sometimes, as an allo-aro, it’s easy to forget that we too are deserving of sweetness.

Learned quite a lot with doing this project. I messed up with several french knots, but it also suits the character (Waddles). I did 3-ply on the floss and when I started the shading (crescents of ear) I did 2-ply and found it easier to get consistent decent knots. A massive learning experience on a project that I was anxious about.
