I love how you drew the mother of pearl effect on kennies helmet, also pearls and shells are such a pretty concept for a helmet need on like this to exist irl 🦪🤍

thankyouuu 🥰❣️‼️ im always so mad cause a drivers helmet could be like. no it SHOULD be a piece of art and i hate to give it to lando but hes one of those people who consistantly delivers on that front

so i really wanted to do smth fun with my own designs... first i wanted the main color to contrast her hair lmao but marci already had the color blue and then i remembered vettels plain white helmet and i was like damn. thats so cool but it can be cooler... and the whole shell/pearl theme fits kendall so well because she really is a little gem hidden inside a tough shell (the motifs on it were inspired by a post on here that you can see on this inspo board i put together 😁 still working on it tho)

I started liking her when Beast-Yeast Ep 5 came out I believe, although I've had her for quite a while. She carried my team immensely for the past year or so (?) so I got pretty attached to her, and it was her time to shine and she really hooked me with…. I am actually not sure. She has a "je ne sais quoi" charm I suppose….

Ok but I think a big part about why I like her character is her voice actresses’ performances (I mostly play with Japanese voices but I did hear the English version as well bcus I’m ill), like she sounds so refined and kinda ojousama but then she’ll make the cutest noises known to man and I EAT IT UP EVERY TIME

There's also Crispia Episode 17-18, which made me love her even more... her escapism era really made me go "oh my god she's just like me fr", and it makes me love the ending of her deciding to face reality even more, because I'm just so happy for her

There are more reasons tbh but this post is already SO LONG 😭 im sorry ;;

design wise my other fav is Cream Unicorn Cookie!!! They’re literally made for me specifically..... unicorn + pastels + amusement park..... they're my everything, I know I never talk about them here but literally they are my most spoiled cookie ever. Are they the best in arena? No not really but I like them and that's what matters.... (copium)

So, idk if anyone here would be interested in this or not, but I saw a slideshow of some embroideries Mary Queen of Scots created while imprisoned, and on a whim decided it'd be fun to make cross-stitch patterns of them.

Anyway, I've done three so far and you can find the free downloads on my Ko-Fi, but also I thought it might be be fun to have you guys vote on which pattern I make next?

First, here's the ones I've already made patterns of. (The frogs are my favorite lol)

(Also fun fact, the frogs were actually stitched by Countess Elizabeth Talbot, who helped create some of the pieces in the large body of needlework associated with Mary, Queen of Scots)

Happy year of the Snake

Revisiting the early roots of the Dreaming style; in my sketchbook with a very limited color pallet.

It is Wood Snake this year, so green snake (in keeping with the eastern zodiac I did back in 2020). I modeled this snake loosely off a leaf viper. I really loved that they looked so textural. Like they would be sand paper to pet.

I used colored pencil and ink for this one. (Many of my colored inking pens from college days have dried up).

May the lunar new year mark a good start for you!
