subconsciously pouts when he sees you crying, immediately holding your hands and wiping your tears with his thumbs, asks in the softest voice “hey, hey, what’s wrong? talk to me baby”

when he wants to be a small spoon he definitely is the type to wiggle his butt against your stomach until he gets comfortable, his are hands definitely under his cheek and his lips are definitely stretched in the biggest grin ever (he loves being your small spoon pls give him all the love)

when he’s talking about your future together, he never says “IF we get married”, instead he says “WHEN we get married” and i just think thats so cute and briejdisbdkabsja

if you ever try the “not kissing my partner for one whole day” prank on him he will just go sit in the corner with his back turned to you and sulk and think about what he could’ve possibly had done to make you angry and i just think that would be such a hilarious thing to witness but also like pls go and kiss him otherwise he will raise havoc and will pout at you until you kiss him

he’s never too tired for you, like, it could be that he hasn’t slept in the last 20 hours and that he’s barely holding his eyes opened but if you ask him if he could pick up something on the way home he will do it because it’s you and you are his baby and he will always do whatever you ask of him❤️

proudly wears the headband you got him with little panda ears when he’s doing his skincare and he doesn’t care that members tease him about it, you literally got it for him and its matching your rabbit one so all the more reason to use it

speaking of matching things, he loves it when you two match but like just little and to others insignificant things like house slippers or headbands or scarves- it just makes him so happy and yet its kind of low-key so it’s not in everyone’s faces but it’s still so cute? yeah he’s whipped

loves it when you include him in your process of getting ready or like beauty processes that you get done- he’s always so happy when you ask him which bag goes better with the dress, when you ask him to zip up the said dress, when you ask him which colour you should go for for you next set of nails- it’s something small but it makes him so happy pls he’s such a little puppy i want him so bad BROOOOO😭

you can always tell when he had a bad day because he will be so tired he won’t have the strength to even say hello to you, he will just take off his shoes and immediately go for a hug or if you are laying down just plop on top of you☹️

on more funny side, he definitely takes FOREVER in the bathroom LMAO bro will go into the bathroom and spend so much time there that you forget that he’s even there😭

Famous Eddie decides to start a podcast. The music career rlly slowed down, the guys are all living comfortably on 30 years of roaring success these days to only play festivals for fun and tour if they feel like it. (Jeff even started acting. Who would have guessed it).

This little podcast of his is pretty all over the place. He doesn’t even market it as anything, just him and his family & friends talking shit.

Of corse it’s his and Steve’s podcast. Because they do everything together.

Dustin is a very very regular guest. Probably 9/10th of every episode. He’s fucking Dustin you know? And oh my god are the three of them fucking hilarious.

The rest of the party often makes appearances.

Max and Dustin screaming at each other about the exact details of what song was playing at a hopper-byers family Chanukah part the first time will and Mike kissed, lunging across the table about it while el just has the most wide eyed slacked jawed smile in the corner and Eddie is laughing his heart out, clinging to Steve’s shoulder just mumbling “babe, babe, babe this is- this isn’t happening” while Steve grins and is like “you two have not grown up since I met you in ‘85. You’re fucking unreal”

(It was hounds of love, by the way. Max was right. And she knows this because Kate Bush is the best song writer and singer ever, Dustin. The viewers don’t have to know why Steve’s face dropped for a moment before he agreed vehement. They (El) called Will while on air to ask, and he needed about two minutes to stop laughing before he said “yeah it was hounds of love, duh. That was the year Max got us all hooked on Kate Bush, don’t tell me you somehow forgot that Dustin” “buddy thousands of dollars of therapy and I still can’t forget it”)

There was a few episodes of a hellfire club reunited D&D game, which is of corse also wildly hilarious because it’s this super famous rock band and then Mike and Dustin and Lucas and Will who are just some guys- while the girls™ + Jonathan, Steve and argyle spectate and commentate.

They tried ASMR once. Just Steve and Eddie. It was a disaster.

They got high with Argyle and Jonathan on one episode and that was just… fascinating conversation.

Robins frequent appearances are just so pure and amazing because Steve never laughs as much as he does with ‘Robbie’. She knows exactly how to wind him up.

They’ve played the most volatile game of Uno with Robin and Nancy and Jonathan and Argyle.

They had a little Christmas special with Wayne and Hopper and Joyce. The parents edition. It was very very sweet.

I have so many ideas for this.

They literally talk about anything and everything and do the dumbest shit on mic and camera.

VHSCC OH MY GOD

(no spoilers)

Starkid nation, you aren't ready.

So let's start with the obvious. Look, I spent thirteen years growing up with Starkid. That initial Michigan gang are deeply special to me and I will always miss Dylan, Brian R., and Corey in any show they aren't in. And this one's no different. But just as Janaya came in and took over Belle from Britney so flawlessly, Curt, Brian, and AJ were all WONDERFUL in their new roles. The gentle-but-high-energy, truly decent, romantic himbo charm Curt brought to our Springsteen boy Jim (you all are going to LOVE Jim, I promise) perfectly offset the defiant, sneering anger of Young Scrooge in "That Scrooge." Brian's reactions (particularly to the "rather take my own life" line) were so funny and some of my favorite parts of the show. And AJ... this is now my favorite thing AJ has ever done. And that's saying something. The smaller casting shake-up moments (Joey as Fezziwig, other little line re-distributions) were so fun as well!

The new act 1 is PERFECTION. I was actually surprised by how absolutely hysterical it was? Like, I won't tell you what was up with that clip on Instagram of Brian, Lauren, and Joey doing a freak-out dance, but I can tell you that their whole Act 1 deal threatened to steal the show every. Single. Time. I already mentioned Curt as Jim, but you will also love Della, who is so funny and real and truly carries us through the start of the show (Janaya is a STAR and she Curt have brilliant chemistry). Ali did a terrific job of balancing the sadness and hope that are both at the center of the devastating little Match Girl. And Jamie's Grandma... well, honestly I have no idea how to talk about Jamie's song without giving stuff away.

But the real star of the show in Act 1, as he should be, was our man Clark. I can't emphasize enough how much he nailed the writing of this whole new act. I mentioned that the new stuff is hilarious, but it's also deeply heartfelt, and also sad exactly when it needs to be. Like, the transition after Jamie's song? I can't really talk about it yet, but what that moment does with emotion is unreal. And, as expected, every song is a banger! My one complaint about this show, and it IS a big one, is that there is no cast recording of the Act 1 songs. I want to listen to them all the time.

But the good news is, I CAN listen to Christmas Carol as much as I want! The classic that started it all is back, with so many people reprising the hell out of their truly iconic roles (God I love the VHS Cratchits), and better than ever. I traditionally hate change, and I love the version of VHSCC Live! we already have so much, but I think I somehow loved this version even more? The staging is alive and clever and there are some additions and changes, particularly in "Final Ghost"/"Christmas Day," that frankly blew my mind and somehow managed to elevate the material even further. I can't wait for the digital ticket to come out so that I can talk about them. To put it simply, James Tolbert mastered his Starkid directorial debut like you won't believe. I'm so proud of him and grateful for the larger role he's taken in Starkid since they moved base to LA.

Also, the Ghost of Christmas Past is extra unhinged this year? Jaime pulled out all of the impish stops and it was the BEST.

Basically, everyone more than delivered. I haven't talked about Meredith yet but she rocked it in the band and continued to validate the hell out of my opinion that "3 Spirits" is the dark horse best song in the show.

And a special shout-out to June Saito for continuing to be a costuming GENIUS. I always love her work and this production is no exception. I honestly wanted to give the return of the Bob Cratchit costume its own round of applause.

You know, the world is a mess and everything is pretty much terrible. It's been a hard year in an impossible decade. But every once in a while you come across some art that takes all of that, acknowledges the truth of it, and somehow pulls back the curtains to harness the joy and hope that's still there under the rubble. To me, Starkid in particular has always been about finding and holding onto the hope and the beauty and humanity that allows us to endure an existence that can so often feel bleak. And VHSCC is maybe the most perfect encapsulation of that idea.

So thank you Clark, James, Meredith, Brian, and everyone who worked so hard on this little bit of magic. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You tapped your foot aggressively by the gates near the soccer field as Beomgyu finally makes his way over to you with a juice box and a half eaten hot dog.

“Seriously Gyu?” you huffed out with furrow eyebrows. With ketchup all over his mouth, he gave you a puzzled look before he handed over the other half of his hot dog.

“UGH! I know, I know! I’m such a cool president but save the compliments for later my disciple” he laughed out proudly, making sure to pat you on the back harshly as he made his way to the bleachers.

You gave him a puzzled face, it was baffling how free spirited he was. To be honest it’s starting to scare you. Your face scrunched up at the sight of the hot dog that was falling apart in your hand before finally tossing it into the trash can.

You were too busy cleaning your hands to notice the game started. Clasping your hands together with closed eyes, you begged to get this over with quickly before rushing to the field.

Your camera dangled around your neck while you looked for a spot to take pictures of the boys. Not wanting to be close to the two teams fighting over the ball you opted for the corner of the field. You were getting ready to snap a few pictures when all of a sudden an aggravating noise came from behind you.

It was Beomgyu, he was cheering like he won an over watch match. Somehow he was decked out with face paint of the school color all over him and a big poster board which had “Decelis Soccer team #1 fan” written on it.

He felt a chill go down his spine out of no where til he realized you were shooting daggers at him. He gave you a sheepish smile and thumbs up while you gave him a tight lipped smile.

You turned back around with an actual smile this time as you think of how unreal Beomgyu is when you hear him let out a few barks. You shook your head and finally began to shoot.

You managed to get shots of the boys scoring points and hyping each other up, even sneaking a few of the crowds supporting them with cheers. Scrolling through the pictures, you failed to realize the ball aiming right at you and the quick “WATCH OUT!”

The voices went in and out as your eyelids grew heavy. The last thing being heard was a panicked voice going, “oh shit i killed her!?”

When you awoke from your slumber, your head was pulsing as you sat up. “Yn you’re up?! I thought you died on us!” Gaon cried out while running over to cry into your shirt.

You looked up to see all your friends sighing in relief, “Okay why is he crying about me being dead and why on earth is Eumppappa is here?” you deadpanned as you rub Gaon back comforting him.

“For moral support—” Gyuvin began cooing at his dog causing you to roll your eyes.

He then continued, “plus you got hit in the face with the soccer ball in front of everyone!” he snorted.

You groaned before banging your head on the wall behind you on accident, wincing in the process. “Gyu even got it on camera!” Chuu blurted out.

“Chuu that was between us!”

“oops. .”

“Gyu you are SOO dead when i recover.”

Beomgyu waved you off absentmindedly, “I guess you don’t want to see who sent the ball flying in your direction~” he teased.

“NO! Tell me. . please”

He smiled in victory before pulling his video to show you. He slowed down the video and zoomed into someone with jersey number 01 on the back.

You’re eye twitched as you clenched your blanket while Beomgyu laughed loudly, “No way!”

Happy Saturday wonderful fandom :) Ahhh the next in the line of goodies to come. This one doesn’t have a ton for them but doesn’t mean there isn’t absolute gems in it. So it'll be a littler shorter than the last one ha Also Aaron is amazingly hilarious in this episode. I love him to death. Let us get started.

5x09 Take Back

We start off with Tim being Watch Commander while Grey is miserable in NYC ha Things get immediately awkward when Chris arrives. Still clueless as ever asking Tim of all people about Lucy’s taste in houses. I mean if you don’t know her taste at this point should you really be buying a house together? Tim looks intrigued when he says he needs his opinion then it gets so awkward when it's about a house...

Tim is so very uncomfortable when he asks his opinion. Knowing this is going NOWHERE for Chris. I’ll never forget this hilarious post I saw about this scene after it premiered. I couldn't find it this time around. Had the lyrics from anti-hero by Taylor swift. ‘It’s me. Hi. I’m the problem it’s me.’ You ain’t ever getting that house with her because of that man sitting there LOL Idk why that post made me laugh so hard but it did. It stuck with me clearly haha

It’s so very weird Chris comes to Tim for this. It's obvious he knows Tim knows her the best. Crazy to me he's not threatened at all by that fact. Clearly he isn’t if he’s coming to Tim for advice. Blows my mind how blind he is. Lucy comes in asking what they’re talking about? Chris tells her he found THE house. Lucy looking as uncomfortable as ever at this news. Saying he's going to call the realtor and call her later. Lucy's high pitched 'I can't wait...' Couldn't be more awkward if she tried.

He gives her a kiss on the cheek and leaves. Tim giving that good ole fake Sanford smile when he does. Tim's face crack me up. Like he stole your girl and you have no idea you putz heh Also just so on brand for Chris to not see how uncomfortable Lucy was. He’s been blind their entire relationship It’s unreal. You can also see how much Tim hates seeing him kiss her. Even if it’s on the cheek.

It’s almost a grimace really as he watches it. Probably thinking of all the ways he could easily kick his scrawny ass haha That fake smile begging for Chris to leave the room so this awkwardness can pass. How Chris doesn’t pick up on either of these vibes I don't know. But then we call him the clueless clown for a reason don’t we?

Lucy doesn’t look comfortable till Chris leaves the office. Tim asking 'How the breakup is going?' HA Cleary it's going well Timothy...Lucy tells him she’s in the planning stages. Just reviewing the literature. Classic Lucy response. Wanting to plan this out completely before pursuing it. Tim telling her a psychology journal isn’t going to tell her how to break up with Chris. I mean he's not wrong.... It's just a bandaid you have to rip off even if its uncomfortable as hell.

He’s so matter of fact with his wording. Using a sports metaphor to explain how she should do it. Makes me wonder if he's actually done this before? Ha She’s adorable in her reply of saying ‘Playbill?’ She truly has no idea what he’s talking about. It’s too funny. It's comical really Tim giving her advice on how to break up with Chris. So you know he can date her haha

Tim has been very patient in all this but you can see him getting a little antsy about it. It is interesting how full circle this moment is. He set them up in 4x12 and now he’s ready to help break them down in this 5x09. Tim is just so ready for Lucy to do this cause he’s anxiously waiting to be with her. It’s pretty damn cute if you ask me. He’s trying to be patient but also is like can we hurry this along a bit?

Lucy says that’s too cruel she wants to handle it her way. No matter how this goes down Chris is going to be hurt though. It's how breakups go there is alway someone who walks away more upset about it. Her empathy taking the front seat in this decision. Where Tim just wants her to rip the bandaid off. Get this over with ASAP.

This is where we see little bit of Tim’s self doubt kick in. It's written all over his face when he asks her if she's having doubts? Worried she’s delaying this because she is having second thoughts about him. About them. Lucy immediately squashes his anxiety with her reply. Shooting massive heart eyes his way as well. She wants Tim to know she’s all in just like he is. That there is nothing for him to worry about.

I love how sure Lucy looks when she tells him 'No, I'm not'. She is so certain this is what she wants. Needs him to know this as well. Not a doubt in her mind about this whole thing. She just has stuff to work out with this breakup first. The certainty in her eyes is everything. Nothing makes more sense to her in this moment than him.

That confidence of hers is why Tim relaxes the way he does above. His whole body draining of the tension he was carrying. His cute smile saying ‘Good.’ Could this man be more of a soft puppy for her? Look at him. That hope and excitement back in his eyes. Lucy replying in kind with her own 'In love 'gaze. They’re both all in and it makes my heart very happy. Also they’re having a full on flirt session in Grey’s office for everyone to see.

I adore Tim being so open and vulnerable in this scene. Making sure she wasn’t backing out. The same Tim who couldn’t communicate in his other relationships to save his life. But with this he is checking in with her. Letting Lucy know his stress about her not breaking up with Chris yet. Lucy assuages his worries instantly. When it’s the right one the harder stuff seems a little easier. More natural. Lucy sensed that panic and instantly calms him with her words and heart eyes. Gah so good. Look at these idiots in love. I just adore them so very much.

This next scene with Aaron is pure gold. I love him so much he cracks me up. Never expected him to be as funny as he is. He notes how quiet she is being and is asking what's going on? Lucy letting him know she needs to break up with Chris. First off like to say we are all Aaron when he says ‘Finally.’ To her breaking up with Chris. Yesssss and Hallelujah finally breaking up with the clown. Nails it even further when he says Chris was never on her level. I mean yeah he never was. Not ever.

Aaron is speaking for the whole Chenford fandom in this moment LOL Chris had nine lives with her and they've finally run out. Aaron's reaction is the best part of this scene. I love that he knew where Lucy's heart was and it obviously wasn't with Chris. He knows it’s with Tim 100 percent. Like most people in their world do. Tim is her equal in so many ways it’s insane. Chris could never compare as Lucy figured out last ep.

Aaron tells her they can practice her breaking up with him. So it’s much easier when the time comes. It’s not a bad idea tbh. This is where it gets hilarious. Lucy brings up them looking at houses. Aaron kinda judging her for letting get as far as looking at houses. Telling her 'Yikes....' HA Tell us how you really feel my man. Lucy reprimanding him saying that is not helpful....Oh Aaron I love you so very much.

Lucy starts her speech trying to find her footing in what she is trying to say. She looks over at Aaron in the middle of it and see he is crying. lol If you didn't laugh at this scene you're dead inside. It's so damn funny. Lucy asking him WTF he is doing? Aaron telling her he is channeling Chris's pain LMFAO I mean he's not wrong she had to be prepared for an emotional response. It's just the way he went about this that is so hysterical. He is having way too much fun with this.

Telling her they should do angry next. I'm rolling. Lucy is doing some channeling of her own. She is channeling her man in this scene. It’s so funny. So aggravated with his role playing in this. Wondering why she asked for his advice in the first place? hahaha They then get a call about a 'Navi'. Lucy is so confused. Aaron geeks out and says it's from Avatar. Tells Lucy she should ask if it’s full grown. The look she gives she is channeling her husband again so much. ‘Aaron, it’s a fictional character...’ LMAO

I really love this ending scene with them. Aaron wants to do one more practice run with her. Lucy tells him she doesn’t need it. (Oh but you do....) That she’s just going to go with her gut on this one. It sounds like a solid idea in the moment but it's honestly the worst thing to wing it. Especially when it's something this intense.

When something is this emotional the right words tend not to just come to you IMO. They sure don't for me. I love him being brutally honest with her about it LOL Saying it’s a terrible idea. That he likes the sentiment but this isn't going to end well. I mean he’s not wrong as we will see here in a bit. Lucy once again channeling Tim in this moment. Cutting him off from saying anything else and just tells him good night haha

We get to the breakup scene we’ve all been waiting for. Lucy is bumbling and awkward. Not knowing where to start. Chris once again blind as a bat. He has no idea why she’s acting this way. Lucy curses Aaron for being right about this moment. Saying she should practiced more LOL I adore her panicking and defaulting to Tim’s playbook advice haha idk what’s funnier that or her being shocked Chris knows what she means by saying that.

All that prep and thinking this out and she went with her man’s advice on how to end this. This makes me giddy to no end. I bet you it’s cause Tim was on her mind from the minute Chris entered the apartment. My guess is that is part of the reason she fell back on his advice. Literally the most Lucy Chen thing ever to use it then be surprised Chris knew what she meant. I love her sfm haha

Chris stumbles around shocked as hell she’s breaking up with him. He seems so very blindsided by the whole thing. I mean if the man opened his eyes for once he wouldn’t be that shocked…But this Chris we are talking about. Lucy tries to get him to talk to her more. Saying they should sit down and talk this out. Chris just bails not wanting to talk at all. Not wanting to fight for her at all. Just takes off like a child who didn't get what he wanted.

Now I’m ok with this. Obviously we all are. Just goes to show you Tim was willing to fight for her and Chris wasn’t in the end. Lucy said it was over and he just left. I mean he wasn’t wrong there isn’t much to talk about out. She doesn’t love him. But still no fight in him at all after Lucy does this. Just folds like a cheap suit. A clueless clown from beginning to end...

We’ve reached the scene of the ep that made us all swoon and squee. I remember feeling so anxious to get to this scene. I had to re-watch the episode to truly appreciate it all. I was too antsy to get back to them sharing a screen. I was so damn giddy this was the place we were in. They spent the majority of this episode apart. So all I could focus on was her coming back to him in this moment.

I adore Lucy coming back into the station to talk about the breakup right away. Needing to share this news with him as soon as she could. I love that she returned to work just to tell him about this. So anxious to get back to Tim after it was done. Lucy wanted him to know as soon as she could it was over with Chris. Knowing he was just as anxious as she was about the breakup. It's sweet how he tentatively approaches her when she says why she is back.

He wants to be understanding about it. Seeing if she wants to talk about it more. Doesn't just want to jump the gun and bulldoze her feelings about the matter. Lucy isn't there to chat about that though. She wants to cash in on him asking her out. Because she couldn’t wait another second without him asking her out again. They're both so damn nervous and sweet in this scene. Fidgety and excited about the prospect of their future. Lucy messing with her hands the entire time as she explains the breakup. Tim keeping his distance while she explains it.

Gah I love her fidgeting near her ring as she approaches Tim. Anxiously awaiting for him to ask her out again. Lucy’s nervous way of reminding him to ask her again like they decided. How she looks into the bullpen before approaching Tim. Saying ‘So…’ He looks nervously excited by her doing this. Eric the king of expressions strikes again. The way his eyes go to check the bullpen as well before refocusing on her. He isn't sure what she is going to do in this moment.

The entire station can see into this office. He looks so friggin cute in his nervousness. I love that that she makes him nervous like this it's so adorable. Lucy gains her confidence and looks him directly in the eye flirty as can be. Asking him if there's something he wants to ask her? The whole purpose of her returning to work is to secure their date. Telling him about the breakup was the catalyst yes. But truly she was wanting to hear him ask her out again.

Tim see's her confidence and starts shaking off his own nerves. Replying in a sassy manner. Their banter the undercurrent of this moment going forward. Fueling them with the courage to say what they want to. Tim can't help being playful and sassy with her replying ‘I can’t remember.’ Doing that cute smirk of his that I love so very much. Wanting to push her buttons a little because well it's Tim.

Lucy is affectionately violent in her reply haha Look at her she is beaming with adoration. She loves this goober in front of her so very much. ‘Don't make me hurt you.’ Because she would legit hurt him if she had to in this moment haha I saw a funny parallel from this to her ripping that tape off in 4x07. Escape from Camazotz: TFS, Shadow NINA, and Saving Your Dad From The Fucked Up Idyllic World A Shadow Monster Has Imprisoned Him In

Loads of people have already talked about how this all:

is reminiscent of A Wrinkle In Time. And I agree...to an extent. I even have an initial Thing about AWIT from April 2023.

What doesn't make sense, though, is if that's the case...then whose father is being sought after/saved? The whole point in AWIT is that Meg Murry had to save her father from Camazotz, a creepily idyllic/conformist world created by IT...

...that also serves as a prison.

The capitol city of Camazotz is CENTRAL/Central Intelligence, and it's overseen by IT and the man with Red Eyes, who serves as a front for IT. Something something...CIA...Richard Brenner being the head of narcotics at HNL vs all the NINA-TFS-Mindflayer hallucinogenic drug ties I outlined previously.

Anyway, returning to suburban Camazotz...You know what else is idyllic that arguably shouldn't be?

Henry's current form.

There have been numerous posts relating the Mindflayer to IT (AWIT), which is where the idyllic but unreal nature comes in.

I've spoken ad nauseam about how TFS, NINA, and Shadow NINA all run along the same lines re: unreality/simulation/Matrix-y type deal, with the Mindflayer being able to quite literally run a different version of NINA to entrap Henry in the VR game. What I want to touch on is a section from the big analysis re: Henry's current whereabouts—

Specifically, per the VR, Henry was banished back into his mind in 1984, just before Will's flaying...which, as far as the VR tells us, he had no active involvement in. We don't know where he ended up, exactly, but the banishment does introduce us to the Shadow NINA concept.

Henry, per the VR, may very well still be trapped in the unreality maze of Shadow NINA.

It's also hilarious to to me that AWIT has a stage play...

...because we see, per TFS, this degree of romanticization coming from Henry alongside the unreality (below is also an excerpt from the big analysis)

In the VR, we're told Henry was bullied by his peers, but that never takes place in TFS. Nor is Bob bullied, though he also canonically says he was. This tells me the romanticization feeds into the unreality, creating what I had been saying all along: A nearly perfect dream world...

...until it comes crashing down when TFS Brenner exposes the truth. Henry has a persistent and steadfast commitment to writing off aspects of this unreality that flag it as unreality, and a persistent drive for normalcy. He wants to be normal and happy, and he tries to push down/hide from/ignore anything that says otherwise until he can't anymore.

In short: He's in deep, babes.

However, the real point I want to make with all this in mind: It's 100% possible the leaks we've seen of Jamie and Nell are set in a Camazotz-like Matrix-y idyllic dream world.

It's also possible, given the ties between Nell's character, Jane, and Henry, as well as Jamie's statements on Henry truly having wanted a nice life with El outside the lab and the understanding that parallels between texts and show are NEVER going to be 1:1, that Nell's character is the Meg Murry to Will's Charles Wallace and Mike's Calvin O'Keefe.

This works especially well considering that Charles Wallace is the one who ends up possessed by IT, much like Will has his persistent connection to the Mindflayer, and Meg Murry is looking for her father, which Henry isn't to either Mike or Will...but might be to a Mindflayer-generated version of the daughter he wanted to run away and start a new life with: Jane.

That's not to say Henry would be willing to leave that world, especially if he's got the life he always dreamed of, whether it's a gilded cage or not.

Cas babe, I'm royally fucked. The drama that is surrounding me rn is so fucking unreal.

So let me start from the very beginning, so I m a 16 yr old girl and i hv this really close guy friend let's call him J, so J and I have been friends since forever, like I don't even remember when I first met him. I have known him since I was born , like I have never known a life without J. And i love him like a brother.

Ok so fast forward a few years and now we're both 16, and we met this girl, Lottie she was a transfer student and we ( J , Lottie and I) had a few classes together. And slowly we develop a friendship.

Now the thing is that J has a crush on Lottie and he told me as soon as he realised it and me being the great friend that I am have subtly been wingwomaning him .

So, last week after English class (only Lottie and I have this class) , Lottie asked me out. Yeah, and I'm straight af but I'm an ally. So I was like what? But she was like i thought u were queer coz u give very strong queer vibes which is kinda true because I have a MAJOR crush on lily Rose depp and i hv always said that she could run me over with her car and I'd thank her and beg her to fuck me, (yeah I have issues.) And I also have bi friend who i jokingly call my wife bcoz when she came out ppl were being very homophobic and i thought that was the only way to support her. (i was 14 ok i don't judge me)

So back to Lottie I wa obviously s so very awkward I was like ohhh. And a little note abt my best friend he is extremely fucking extra , he is the biggest drama queen in the world like Sirius Black level of drama. So now his dumbass decided that he will ask Lottie out, and bcoz he is so fucking extra abt everything he is thinking of using the help of his teammates ( he's on the football team) to ask her out after the football match next Friday.

And in trying to convince him that he should not do it, but when he asks why i don't have any solid reason because it's not my place to tell him abt Lottie. So he's really planning everything to make the proposal perfect, and I'm stressing tf out.

I love J and i don't want to see him get hurt bcoz obviously Lottie is gonna say no, and on top of that it would be kinda humiliating bcoz the entire school and another school would be there. The reason I think this is the best option is because, either way Lottie will find out about J's feelings, so you can't really prevent that. This way, you're preventing embarrassment for both Lottie and J. Also, you're possibly protecting Lottie from attention by telling J you just "heard Lottie is not interested" because that doesn't out Lottie. AND even if J doesn't listen to you, you've helped by both preparing Lottie for what will happen and by sort of...introducing J to the idea that she's not interested.

Episode 4 of Ahsoka has to be one of the best Star Wars episodes yet. I loved it from start to finish.

I mean right off the bat we have Ahsoka outside reminiscing something, which I haven't figured out yet, but I assume is probably her past.

There's the droid fight which honestly I found hilarious, I love watching droids fight so much its so funny to me.

Then Huyang told Sabine and Ahsoka that they're better off together, and it honestly reminded me of when Obi-Wan in the Clone Wars said that so long as they stick together, they'll be fine. Actually crying.

Then we have the duels, THE DUELS! Oh my god where do I even start. I love duels in Star Wars, they're by far my favourite part about it. It was so cool seeing how Sabine improved drastically since her last fight with Shin. And the way Baylan aggravated Ahsoka by mentioning Anakin and her past made the whole episode so much more emotional than it already was. I could see the pain in Ahsoka's eyes and the emotion behind her moves. It reminded me of Anakin a lot, and how much she takes from him and also when she duelled Vader on Malachor. She doesn't want to remember her past and her guilt caused by it, but Baylan knew how to get to her. And it shattered me in the best way.

And when I tell you I gasped when she got shoved off the cliff oh my god I'm not even joking, thought she was dead for a hot second before I realised it was a show about her.

And don't even get me started on the scene where Sabine hands the map over to Baylan. Baylan again is pushing all the right buttons to get right to her soft spot, and it worked. I loved the incredible amount of time it took Sabine to make the decision because, as an indecisive person, I get it. But also because she knows what she's about to do is wrong. She shouldn't have given the map over, and she should've destroyed it, and she knew that. But she wanted to save Ezra. Ezra was the one person left she could save, rather than fail. And she took the risk, despite what pain it could bring her, and Ahsoka.

And where do I even begin on the ending. There's no word good enough to describe it. First of all, when Ahsoka woke up in the World Between Worlds, I knew immediately that THAT was how she was going to get to Sabine. But what happened next, I did not expect.

ANAKIN APPEARED. AS ANAKIN, NOT VADER!! It made me so emotional the whiplash was unreal. The way he said "Hey Snips" almost exactly how Anakin in the Clone Wars said it, I literally cried. And I cannot even imagine how Ahsoka must feel because bare in mind, she last time she saw Anakin as Anakin and not Vader, was right before Order 66. And they never had a time to catch up. The last time Ahsoka saw Anakin as Vader, she thought she was responsible for what happened to him because she left him. Twice. She's had to live with that guilt for so long and seeing him like that must have been the biggest shock of her life. She spent the rest of her life trying to connect with Anakin but being met with a total darkness. In that moment, she saw him. Again. After 30 years.

Heartbreaking.

First of all, starting Friday: The Album Drop

...do I need to say more? No? Well too bad, because I'm going to 😂 I'm a huge music freak, been singing since I was four, play guitar and the piano (I didn't say good okay, I'm actually very jealous of Jensen) and I've been obsessed with lyrics for pretty much forever. Alright, call me crazy but this album is so Dean Winchester coded it's unreal. Every song could be put together with Dean and I'm not even joking. You know what's even funnier? THAT THE DAMN SONG JENSEN AND MISHA PUT TOGETHER YESTERDAY COULD VERY WELL END UP AS A RADIO COMPANY SONG. The lyrics definitely needs some work (probably making it more vague), but... come on. The first thing my mind jumped to when I realized what Jensen was singing was Watching Over Me. MOVING ON.

Second: Jensen's answer about the Destiel reunion

This hole thing still drives me crazy. This was probably the clearest answer we've even gotten from Jensen, plus we got confirmation that he'd like to see a Destiel reunion AND ADDRESSING CAS' GOODBYE (I wanna say here that at this point I have no idea how that would play out if it would be something like "Hey buddy, I don't feel that way but I don't wanna lose you" or a full on love confession from Dean... I have no idea and that's okay, because I know Jensen knows how important that confession was to a lot of us, so I trust him not to invalidate Cas' feelings). Now, I paid a little attention to the words he said about maybe seeing it: first, he said that hopefully we'll get to see that at some point, and later he said maybe we won't. This immediately jumped out to me and you know what my brain did? Let me tell you: Jensen said that he doesn't talk about possible project before they aren't under the wraps because he doesn't wanna jinx them. Now hear me out: first, he said maybe we'll get to see it. Then he backtracked. He's talked about a reboot/6-10 episode thing for forever now. He WANTS to come back. My tinhat is firmly in place when I say that I have no doubt he's working on it already, but it isn't greenlit yet (hence the backtrack later). The description was just too specific to be made up out of thin air. (Watch me regretting those words later because I'm just too hopeful.)

Third and last: Whatever that Cockles Panel was

Listen, I could scream about them forever, we all know what went down, the only thing I wanna point out is: When Jensen said "...which is funny because so do I" he looked flustered as hell, we all know that by now. What gets me is that Misha had basically no reaction to this (he looked down, but that's it). So, did they plan something like that? I don't know, I just think it's weird as hell to have no reaction to something like this, especially when it's your "best friend" and he says that in front of hundreds of people.

(Plus, a little side note: still not over how you can SEE Jensens brain working while he's nervously rubbing his thigh.)

I don't even wanna go into the lyrics they wrote together, I've talked about it during the first point already, but something I wanna add is that I loved jensens face journey as Misha first mentioned the brothers but then immediately jumped to "The Angel". That was hilarious and by God, Jensen was planning on throwing together something romantic.

I'm very much not fine as you can tell, but it feels like the universe has shifted after the non-existent finale and now it's our turn. I always try to keep my expectations low, but the album and this whole weekend catapulted me right into the sun, so now all I can see is light and stars and it's wonderful.

Gun utters, his eyes on Goo's glasses, seeing the reflection of the cards, along with the suprise in Goo's eyes at the same time, despite Goo's glasses still being on and avoiding him from seeing his eyes, Gun can still imagine his face expression. ''An AFFAIR?!''

''Mhm.''

"WHAT?!" wide eyed, a loud laugh leaves Goo's mouth, one filled with utter mock, and Gun can easily sense it. "No damn way!"

"Well you heard me."

''No way! No. Damn. Way!" He repeats, "They- They hate each other dude! Samuel always grumbled some shit about how Eli Jang was an complete nuisance, how he always pissed him off,'' A chuckle leaves his lips, ''There's NO way that they'd have an affair, not even hate sex, man.''

''Perhaps something between them sparkled after fighting against that king together?''

Gun feels like he's going to burst out laughing every single second passing by.

''Look, man. I know Samuel much better than you, theres no way that there is something between them, Samuel envies Eli, and that envy soon turned into hatred, he himself told me about it. Theres nooo way that there would be something between them, no way.''

''Yes way.''

Extending his silky hand up to the bridge of his nose, Goo pulls out his glasses and takes a clearer look at Gun, still cant getting himself to believe Gun's rumor. ''And, where did you even heard that, though?''

''Crystal told me. She said that Sally informed her about Samuel coming to their house unexpectedly often these last days." Gun continues, "i'll be honest, even i didn't know that Crystal was talking to Sally, since Crystal is, kind of.. you know her personality. She doesn't likes talking to others but, i guess she can still somehow manage to chat with others sometimes?''

''I already know enough about Crystal, man!" All ears, Goo watches Gun with full attention and interest. "So? What else?''

Judging from the going on conversation and the sudden stop on the cards, Goo seems to not notice that they had stopped playing cards a long ago, so does Gun.

Getting up from the floor he was sitting on, Gun arches his back which was caused slight pain by sitting with the same position for quite the long time. Making his way to couch, Goo follows him as he does so. ''I'll tell you the rest of it later, i feel utterly exhausted right now.'' Gun sighs, leaning his back on the couch and makes him comfortable, shutting both of his eyes, holding his smirk back.

''Like hell you're tired! You're just making damn excuses to not tell it!!" Goo frowns, "Come oooon, Guuuun! I'm curiouusss!'' Goo's lips quivers, the frown on his face replacing with a pout as he extends his pointing finger to poke Gun's cheek, poking it several times to get his attention.

"Hmmh.. I'm really tired..'' Gun slightly opens his right eye and glances at Goo with the side of his eye, the smirk he was holding back finally starting to fade in. ''..Maybe a kiss on the cheek would make it go away?'' He coos, pointing his cheek with his finger, which receives an eye roll from Goo.

''Seriously? Only for a kiss? tchh.'' Goo clicks his tongue in annoyance, leaning in closer to Gun's face and planting a soft kiss on his right cheek, Gun stays silent for a few seconds, humming to himself.

''Mhh.. I think I didn't really feel it. Do it again.''

''Ah, for fucks sake!''

Gritting his teeth in pure annoyance, Goo leans in closer once again to leave an another kiss on Gun's cheek, only for that pervert to switch the side of his face on the last moment, the kiss that was suppossed to contact on his cheeks greeting with his lips instead. Despite his surprised face expression to the sudden kiss, Goo isn't the kind of guy to pull back. Instead, he wraps his arms around Gun's neck, caressing the back of his raven hair as Gun smirks between the kiss, leaning in closer to him and deepening the kiss, making himself on top of Goo while Goo's back lies on the couch. A muffled groan slides away from Gun's lips as he was about to slide his tongue in, the sudden pain caused by the blonde sinking his teeth in his lips makes him scowl in pain, the sink in his lips was hard. Real hard. Hard enough for blood to stream down his lips and reach to his chin. That masochist loves it. Does he pulls away? No, in fact, he gets even more turned on. But Goo does, with a satisfied grin.

''Nuh uh, first you tell me more about it.''

Gun sighs in annoyance, as he was about to wipe off the blood on his lips, Goo leans in closer and licks the blood off his lips, then wiping off the blood on Gun's lips with his thumb, a playful grin displayed on his lips. ''Go ahead.''

Smirking, Gun starts. ''Well, it's so obvious that theres something between Eli Jang and Samuel Seo. Even a guy like me can tell it. Perhaps hate, perhaps something more than hate. Who knows.''

Goo stays silent for a few seconds, resting his head on Gun's shoulder and thinking about it in silence as he humms to himself. ''Hmm..'' Never in his life he would have thought that there was something between Samuel and Eli, like damn! he thought that both of them despite each other?

But not just a normal kind of 'despite', the kind of ones that where you want to wrap your hands around the others neck as tight as possible and choke the other to the death itself till they start begging you like a dog.

What can he say? there were not just normal, regular guys at the first place.

Hell, what is even considered as 'normal' to Goo Kim to begin with anyway?

After a moment of silence, Goo's the first one to speak. ''..Who do you think the top is?''

Gun answers, not even wasting a second. ''Eli. Theres no way in hell that a pathetic guy like Samuel can top.'' he dips in his hand to his pocket, pulling out his cigarette package before continuing his speech. ''Even with that huge thing inside of his pants, i dont think that Samuel will be spending his time using it.''

Goo won't even bother questioning how Gun knows it.

''Wait- And?! Thats all?! No more?!'' Goo pinches his nose and grimaces when he inhales the filthy smell of the damn cigarettes coming from Gun. ''Ew.''

''Thats all. If you have more to say, go ahead then.'' Gun pauses, leaning in closer to Goo with a shit eating smile. ''..Or we can continue where we lef-''

Goo puts his hand on Gun's lips, Gun's lips quivering. ''30 minutes rule.''

'..God Fucking damn it..'' Gun grits his teeth in annoyance and pouts.

"Oh, oh!" Goo gasps, as if something came to his mind.

"What?" Gun mumbles, taking a deep drag of the and inhaling the cigarette to finish it sooner.

"Now i remember, did you know that Eugene, the president of Workers has his own 'Gun and Goo' in their gang?"

What.

What.

Choking on his cigarette by the sudden news, Gun's eyebrows knits, a frown displaying on his face that Goo has never seen before. "Holy shit, man! I told you to stop smoking those damn cigarettes, didn't i?! Are you seeing the light right now?? Hearing anything?? Hello?? Park JongGun??"

"Repeat."

"What?"

"Repeat that."

The corner of Goo's lips curves into a wicked grin, knowing Gun well enough to know that this news would utterly piss him off. Yet, he chooses to act innocent, as if Gun would believe it.

"Oooh, i thought you knew about it, Guun~ It seems that the top two strongest members of the crew are referred as Eugene's 'Gun and Goo.' Ironic, isn't it?

Gun clicks his tongue in displeasure, inhaling an another drag of cigarette to calm himself down. "Not ironic, more like absurd."

"How cute, little boys trying to be like us. Don't you think?"

"No." Gun sighs. "One day, just one day there will be a fight, and at that day I'll fucking beat their asses to a pulp to show them who's Park JongGun and who's not."

Goo only laughs at how hilarious that sounds.

Hubby has never seen Giant, so I'll be rewatching it soon as well as some other classics like Some Like It Hot and Philadelphia Story, I'm sure I'll rewatch Frankie and Johnny for the umpteenth time as well. As far as shows go, I rewatch Our Flag Means Death at least once a month since it's my comfort show, and might do a Shameless rewatch since I've only seen the whole thing once (excluding all the Gallavich scenes)

what were the most memorable elden ring moments for you?

tough call but obviously malenia resting her nuts on my chin for international womens day (and intl womens day pt 2, and pt 3, and etc. ...) was up there, as was spending 6 on stream hours killing the fuckign horse. astel starborn ranks up there as just an insanely unique boss design, it visually really stuck with me. original radahn boss fight was sick design, that was really enjoyable and stuck for sure. the sense of discovery regarding nokron was goated in general, first going down the well and realizing how much farther down it goes than you expected, then second when the meteor opens up a fuckin hole in liurnia and you just keep going down it, both absolutely stuck.

lemme think. patches finally just giving up the game and sending me straight to fucking hell (i.e. telling you to go to the iron virgin in raya lucaria and then it sends you to the pits of volcano manor, which like, might as well be actual biblical hell) made me laugh uncontrollably iirc. like that's always been the vibe but this time he just up and does it. just tricks you into going straight to hell, do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars. just boom, seventh circle. see ya nerd. fucking hilarious.

honestly i mean it's a really fuckin memorable game imo. pretty much every demigod i can vividly remember, except maybe morgott, he's got a sick visual design for his real fight but he's a little undercut by having already fought him kind of, but everyone else i can call moments from to mind. maybe rennala gets second bottom slot on memorability, she was relatively standard fair, but visually the second half goes hard as fuck so that's fair game. fire giant goes crazy, maliketh goes crazy, mohg is maybe after rennala in terms of memorability but honestly NIHIL NIHIL NIHIL still sticks. then maybe godrick, who gets a bonus for being your first, then the ones i've mentioned, with marigon/radika being somewhere in between because you don't get any character but FUCK does the visual design go soooo hard.

there's probably more that i'm forgetting, it can't be understated how much i love elden ring. i'd struggle to argue that any game ever made is consummately better, more engaging, more lush and rich, or just more fucking fun than elden ring. like no glazing it might be the Best Game Ever.

oh also i didn't mention anything from the DLC because a. it hasn't been out for 2 years so i haven't measured its memorability as thoroughly b. it hasn't been out for 2 years yet so spoilers, but rest assured there's plenty in there. rellana is maybe my favourite non-demigod boss they've ever done, st trina and her whole thing is just so deeply fromsoft i love it so much, messmer fucks heavy and the phase change cutscene will stick with me for a long logn time, midra's shtick and cutscene and shit fuck so so so heavy, exploring the new areas was exactly what i needed out of an elden ring dlc it's so fucking DENSE, and then finally, of course, [REDACTED], Consort of [REDACTED] is stupid and can go fuck himself and is also so fucking cool it's unreal. the unique death status from the hug? absolutely incredible lore wise and gameplay wise. made me giggle fr. there's some overtuning in there tho, but tbf all it did was make me actually use all the tools at my disposal (which is completely fair enough, i can't just keep dodgeroll charged R2ing forever, sometimes there's gotta be some other other bullshit in there lol).

Hello all! We forge onto episode 13 for s1. Super solid ep all around really enjoy this one.

1x13 Caught Stealing

I love whenever Chenford get a cold open. This one doesn't disappoint. After the last ep Tim needed a little fun. What’s more fun than messing with his rookie on her first night shift? Ah the night shift I can’t imagine with that job. Poor Lucy I feel tired just watching her in this scene. Girl needs her some caffeine.

The amount of sass he is throwing her way is hilarious. Being the tough ass T.O. with a little salty sass throw in for his enjoyment. He's definitely have a little fun with how damn tired she is. Poor Lucy is paying for not listening to his nap advice. Lucy see's a random guy in the street. We see them out out of the car because she insists she saw him. Lucy eventually follows this guy Tim doesn't see. Its very evident once she catches up to him this is a dream. She's awoken by laughter and mortified she's fallen asleep on her first midnight shift.

Tim is so pleased with himself she fell sleep. Not only that but he gets to have others in on it with him. Her ‘No No’ as he's laughing and taking pics too funny. Clearly enjoying his damn self haha Lucy didn’t listen to his advice and paid for it. He's not even mad as he's taking pics. He's bemused with her more than anything else. You can see it in his face. There is no anger there. He is very much enjoying giving her a hard time about this. (Work flirt part 1.)

Part 2 is the shirts he makes haha Lucy's face/reaction cracks me up. She's not even the least bit shocked he did this. Such a turd haha. Highly doubt Tim has ever messed with a rookie the way he does with Lucy. Just another work flirt between them. Whether he realizes he's doing it or not. She brings out a side of him rarely seen. His playful side it’s fun to see. Tim knows it’s going to bother her so naturally he does it haha

I'll say it again the absolute sass Tim has with her in this episode is unreal haha He's getting so comfortable with her its just pouring out. They report to a burglary at a fertility clinic. Lucy being Lucy has to question if its an abduction or burglary haha She has a fair point in what she’s asking LOL I do love her little notebook trying to take down everything she can. Absorb whatever knowledge Tim is gonna throw her way. Even when he's being surly with her she's always ready to learn regardless. They end up going to the apt of the woman who stole the eggs. The ex- wives are in the midst of a massive fight about them when they arrive.

Tim steps in immediately as their mediator. This scenario hits a little differently for Tim now. Also for the viewer as well. The way he handles this entire situation is masterful. If this isn’t his entire situation with Isabel in a moment idk what is. Just with the way he responds and de-escalates the whole situation. Using his past pain to do so. Now that he’s removed from it you can see the perspective he's gained since. How he uses it to relate to this woman's distress.

The way he’s talking this lady through her emotional crisis. My goodness. Gets me right in the feels. The reason she ends up listening is because she can hear in his voice he can relate. The tone he is taking with her is so sincere. I couldn't be prouder of him. The Tim that Lucy started with would be floored by the words coming out of his mouth right now. They hit so much differently as he calms the ex-wife down. You can hear the painful experience in his voice.

You can’t tell me Lucy’s words from 1x07 didn’t stick with him. The way she stopped him from this fate, from hating himself. Tim knew deep down he would've had he gone through with his plans. Lucy was there to stop him from doing that to himself. Tim is doing the same for this woman now. This is what growth looks like. Most people might think his growth is more apparent and doesn’t truly start till s2. Where we see Tim start to visibly soften for her, but it started the day he met Lucy Chen.

You can see the impact she’s had on his life. These are the moments that reflect that. How he's changed due to her presence in his life. That small crack in his rigid wall she started on day 1. How it continues to grow. S1 Tim is rough at the start but he is for a reason. It seems like this is a small scene in the ep as a whole if you’re not paying attention. But this scene is absolute growth for Tim. His character arc is primo and Lucy's role in it even more so.

It makes me smile how Tim impresses her with this line of thought. Lucy is genuinely impressed with his attitude about the domestic violence rule. He’s almost offended she seemed surprised haha I think he truly does want her to think highly of him. Tim might actually be slightly offended when she is 'surprised' by him with stuff like this. Where he finds her 'surprised' Lucy is actually expressing 'awe' for him.

We all know underneath that gruff exterior beats a soft puppy of a man. (Especially for her) I dare say Lucy’s attraction to him grows due to this comment he makes about the rule. She tries to rebound by saying he surprises her everyday hehe I know he does. His reply is so cute. They're so married and have no idea.

Tim’s gut reaction is to immediately defend Lucy. *heart clutch* Not only that but compliments her while doing so. Talia calls him out on his compliment. They both know he doesn’t hand those out ever. You can tell he's a little irked Talia has done so. He back tracks a little cause of it but not much. He doubles down on it still and says she’s smarter than this.

He knows her just as well she knows him at this point. Tim is very aware how sharp Lucy is. So if it was even slightly possible she did this would've it would've been executed better. He's almost offended they would attach her to such a poorly thought out plan. Ah if only Lucy could hear him singing her praises Her head would explode. Oh the growth in this ep for him is glorious.

That wraps it up for the Chenford portion of this ep.

Side Notes. Non Chenford

I LOVE how Angela brings Jackson down a peg in this ep. He was insufferable about the rules. Well until he ran into a fiery buzz saw that was Angela and never recovered haha I do appreciate him coming to her at the end and apologizing. Thanking her for never giving up on him. He wouldn’t be here without her and wouldn't let himself forget that again.

Also the beginning of BAMF Lucy where she holds her own against a slew of baddies solo. Then out smarts them by revealing what the guy did and how he stole the money. Love our girl. Like Tim said she’s smart. Too smart for his own good most days haha doesn’t need Nolan by time he gets there. Saves her own damn self.
