Finding the Best Play School in India Among Top Rated Schools in India
When it comes to providing a strong foundation for a child's future, choosing the best play school in India among the top-rated schools in India crucial. The early years of a child's development are formative, shaping their attitudes, values, and aptitudes. Therefore, finding a play school that offers value-based education is essential.
Value-based education focuses on instilling moral, ethical, and social values in children from a young age. It helps inculcate qualities like respect, empathy, integrity, and responsibility in students, which are essential for their overall development. With the rise of materialism and consumerism in society, imparting these values has become even more critical in shaping well-rounded individuals.
In India, several play schools have garnered a reputation for providing value-based education along with a strong academic foundation. In addition to value-based education, XYZ Play School also excels in providing a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum. The school uses a child-centric approach that focuses on nurturing each child's unique talents and interests. Through a blend of interactive learning, play-based activities, and hands-on experiences, students are encouraged to explore, question, and create, fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

In conclusion, finding the best play school in India among the top-rated schools is a significant decision that can shape a child's future. Value-based education plays a crucial role in nurturing children's moral, ethical, and social development, laying the foundation for their success in life. Schools like XYZ Play School exemplify the commitment to providing quality education that goes beyond academics, focusing on character building, creativity, and holistic development. By choosing a school that prioritizes these values, parents can ensure that their child receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for a bright and successful future.

As a parent, you want to give your child the best possible start in life. And that means giving them an education that will help them succeed. But there's more to it than just building a solid educational foundation.
Value based education is about more than just learning facts and figures—it's about learning how to learn, which is essential for success in any field of study. And it's about learning how to live a good life, which is crucial if you're going to help your child become an adult who can make good decisions and contribute positively to society as an adult.

Thinking about the thesis I read that argues that Doctor Faustus makes the case that education leads to damnation (i.e. becoming complicit in capitalism) by instilling bourgeois values and thus making you an interpellated subject
...which sounds like a much more reasonable argument summed up like that than it did in the actual piece. I still think it's silly and anti-intellectual but the summary leaves out the not very effective close reading of the contract sequence, which depends on the argument that the very act of making the contract makes Faustus' damnation irreversible. I feel like any reading of the play that depends on an eschatological point of no return is going to fall apart in the end and that's what I always come back to with criticism.

braille mnemonics for the UEB strong wordsigns/strong contractions
So I've been going through the Hadley Braille Reading by Sight course & for the letters they gave you helpful little memorization tricks. Alas, they don't suggest any for contractions so I have made up my own silly tricks that I will now be sharing.
Tumblr media
"and" is giving that empty Dot 5 a hug
Tumblr media
all for one and one for all - All the dots are used so "for" is the Musketeers catchphrase
Tumblr media
"of" is a letter f flipped upside down
Tumblr media
for "with" I visualize a guy on a bench putting his arm around his smaller friend.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"child" & "ch" and "still" & "st" are both slashes. I remember that the child goes the wrong way (as children are known to do) while the st forms the fraction/forward slash.
Tumblr media
"ou" & "out" are inverted "t" & "that" so I remember "get that out"
(I don't have anything for which, shall and this. feel free to give suggestions)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The little pointer/arrow in this set rotates clockwise to form the phrase "ed the as not". just imagine this said in a terrible London orphan accent from a film set in the Victorian era.
Tumblr media
"er" is inverted q: "I had questions so I went to the ER"
Tumblr media
"ing" is inverted "us"......."imagine us —ing"
Tumblr media
I mistyped o as "ow" a bunch of times while practicing and I was initially using an app that vibrated every time you got something wrong so I imagine it actually zapping me. ow
Tumblr media
This one probably only makes sense to me BUT I imagine "ar" and "gh" as a pair of crossing arrows that point down and to the left (ar) and right (gh) thus combining to form the word "ARGH" said in your best possible pirate voice.

What is the legacy you want to leave behind? In the end, what truly matters is not the accolades we accumulate or the wealth we amass, but the legacy we leave behind. Hello, among the hundreds of tragic stories, I am sharing my painful story.
My name is Ahmed Khalil, I am 6 years old. I was at the beginning of my education, trying to learn, participate, and play with other children. My family consists of 8 members, including my mother and father. My father has diabetes, my brother Fathi is blind, my other brother Abdullah has autism, and my brother Mohammed was injured in his leg by shrapnel from rockets.
Tumblr media
On October 7, 2023, the war began and has not stopped since. The airstrikes and Israeli shelling caused fear for me and my family. We could not endure the massive explosions that felt like recurring earthquakes and the red flames sweeping through the area. We were forced to flee to southern Gaza based on orders from the Israeli forces, leaving our beautiful apartments behind. We went to a UN refugee school in Deir al-Balah to escape the terror and death.
Tumblr media
We stumbled into a different life full of suffering from every side, living through the most painful hell of war. I developed malnutrition due to contaminated water, poor hygiene, and the spread of infectious diseases with no suitable medicine available.
Tumblr media
The situation is catastrophic and unbearable. “There is only death left in Gaza. Even death has become a privilege because it provides a sense of relief.” My older brother Mohammed and I begged our father to leave Gaza, but it was extremely difficult due to the high costs. My father lost all his property during the war, including his electronics repair center and apartment, which were completely destroyed, so he has nothing to help us travel out of Gaza. There is no safe place in the Gaza Strip.
Tumblr media
I pray every moment for the end of this war and a ceasefire. The ceasefire is not just a call; it is a desperate cry to end the helplessness and despair spreading to every corner after more than 11 months of war. We flee from death every day, only to wake up the next morning to try to escape it again. My heart is heavy, unable to bear the recurring nightmares, and the overwhelming flood of news about blood, displacement, loss, and despair pouring from Gaza.
Every minute feels like a struggle. No one should have to endure this injustice, segregation, and discrimination. The ongoing shelling in southern Gaza and the intense bombardment of residential buildings in Deir al-Balah make everyone feel unsafe, believing they might be the next to face tragedy. Communications are cut off. We are exhausted and cannot bear more tragedies and losses. We are currently living in a classroom of the UN center, which is crowded with people, including my relatives and cousins. My poor father sees our pale faces and weak bodies and stands helpless due to the lack of money and resources.
Tumblr media
I am still six years old, and I never thought I would witness such a brutal attack with complete disregard for human values. I am deprived of my basic rights, including health and education. I need to rebuild my life with my family abroad and receive better healthcare. Traveling to Egypt would cost at least $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child, which is an enormous amount given the harsh living conditions and the blockade that has lasted for 17 years.
Tumblr media
Therefore, I ask you to donate so that we can evacuate Gaza to safety. Please continue supporting our campaign by donating if you can and sharing it with your friends and family. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us get closer to our next goal and brings us nearer to securing a safer future for my family.

Subtle ways to serve the patriarchy in your daily life:
1. Be respectful
When talking to strange men, always refer to them as "sir" or as a "gentleman." This may seem outdated, but some people still talk like that. It shows your respect and harkens back to a time when men were in charge and women knew their place.
2. Be polite
Always say please and thank you, even if it doesn't seem necessary. For example, instead of saying, "Hey, do you know where the restroom is?" say, "Excuse me, sir, could you please show me where the restroom is?"
3. Be dependent
If you go out with a man, let him hold your phone. He'll decide what you need to see and who you need to communicate with. If he goes through your texts and photos, that's his right.
4. Be a doll
If you go out with a man, let him choose your outfit, how you do your makeup, and your hair. Don't leave until he is completely satisfied with your appearance.
5. Dress to impress
If you go out without a man, choose makeup and an outfit based entirely on what you think men find attractive. (Unfortunately, you will have to use your brain just a little bit for this one 😥) It doesn't matter if you like it, or if it's comfortable, men's taste is your taste.
6. Be helpless
If you think you might need help with something, ask a man. Even if you think you could probably do it on your own, remember that you can't. If you're lost, don't try to use Google maps. Ask a man for help. If there's something wrong with your car, don't even try to figure out what it is, take it to a mechanic, and say, "It makes a weird noise when I do this" and let him handle everything for you (ideally you wouldn't be driving at all)
7. Be approachable
If ANY man flirts with you or compliments you, be receptive. If a dirty homeless man says you have nice tit's, smile at him and say, "Thank you, sir." If a group of men are hollering at you, stick around, give them a spin so they can see and judge every part of your body, invite them to come over and grope you.
8. Be submisive
Never talk back to a man. If a man is rude to you, be grateful for the attention and ask him what you can do to make it right.
9. Be dumb
Don't use big words, in text or in speech. If you have an idea that you don't know how to express, it's probably too complicated for you. Only read when you have to. Never try to understand current events, occupy your mind with porn. If you really need more intellectual stimulation, you can watch something like celebrity gossip news.
10. Spead the word
Subtly try to teach other women their place, compliment them on their appearance, and nothing else. Discourage them from valuing things like their education and career. Encorage them to dress more slutty, if possible get them drunk and makeout with them for men to watch.

Mastering the Art of Dialogue
Dialogue is the lifeline of any narrative. It brings characters to life, propels the plot, and creates depth in the story. However, writing dialogue that feels real and engaging can be challenging. Here are some tips to help you refine your dialogue-writing skills:
1. Listen to Real Conversations
The foundation of great dialogue is authenticity. Spend time listening to how people speak in real life. Notice the flow of conversation, the interruptions, the ums and ahs, and the unfinished thoughts. Real speech is rarely grammatically perfect or fully articulated. Incorporating these nuances can make your dialogue more relatable.
2. Each Character Should Have a Unique Voice
Your characters should be distinguishable by their dialogue alone. A teenager will speak differently from an elderly person; a doctor will use different terminology than a street artist. Think about their background, education, and personality. These factors should influence their speech patterns, vocabulary, and even the rhythm of their dialogue.
3. Use Dialogue to Show, Not Tell
Dialogue is a powerful tool for showing the reader what’s happening without explicitly telling them. Through conversations, you can reveal your characters' thoughts, feelings, and intentions. For example, instead of narrating that a character is nervous, you could show it through their stammering dialogue or their avoidance of direct answers.
4. Keep It Concise
In real conversations, people often meander through their thoughts. In written dialogue, however, it's important to be concise. Every line of dialogue should serve a purpose, whether it’s moving the plot forward, revealing character, or creating tension. If a piece of dialogue doesn’t add value to your story, consider cutting it.
5. Read Your Dialogue Aloud
One of the best ways to test your dialogue is to hear it. Reading your dialogue aloud can help you catch awkward phrasings or unnatural speech patterns. Better yet, have someone else read it to you. This can provide insight into how your dialogue will sound to your readers.
6. Use Subtext to Your Advantage
Not everything needs to be said explicitly. Subtext—the underlying meaning behind the spoken words—can add depth and complexity to your dialogue. Characters might say one thing but mean another, based on their emotions, relationships, or situations. This layering of meaning can make your dialogue more engaging and thought-provoking.
7. Balance Dialogue with Action and Description
While dialogue is critical, it should be balanced with narrative description and action. This balance helps maintain the pacing of your story and ensures that your scenes are visually and emotionally compelling. Action and description can also provide context that enhances the meaning and impact of your dialogue.
Conclusion
Great dialogue can transform a good story into an unforgettable one. By applying these tips, you can craft dialogue that captures the essence of your characters and engages your readers on a deeper level. Remember, writing is a craft that improves with practice. Keep experimenting with your dialogue, and don't be afraid to rewrite until it sounds just right.
Writing dialogue is a skill that can be honed over time. The more you practice and read, the better you'll become at capturing the essence of conversation on the page.

Note
its crazy how quick people turn to petit-bourgeois aspirationalism if you dare to have principles like "there is an obvious social good to the free distribution of information and the profits of individuals should not be prioritised over this" or "private ownership of ideas is always a matter of social control from those with the capital to enforce it, whether by restricting access to education or by arbitrarily gating access to medical supplies through patenting" like. do these people think the ideology of owning ideas is in a category all its own for art and has no wider implications (even on this they'd still be out of touch with reality for the effects on creativity of enforcing IP)
this is just an example of how people can espouse leftists values for most part but suddenly get uncomfortable when you start criticizing a system they have a direct interest in, even if that interest is largely based on aspirations unlikely to actually happen, ie becoming independently wealthy off the back of your own art, which is really the only scenario where you could one day benefit from copyright
