WHAT IF LADY OF AUTUMN'S LIFE AND BERON'S ARE CONNECTED!! (Similar to what Feyre and Rhysand did)

Beron didn't kill LoA for her cheating. Most likely motivated to preserve his own imagine and ego. How humiliating would it be, for a man like him, to be known around that he had been cheated on? Too much for that alphahole to handle. Better to sweep it under the carpet.

But why would Beron agree to raise Lucien?

Beron could get him killed, and no one would even need to know because it's not that hard to get rid of a baby without it looking too suspicious. (This sounds so very awful)

I kept thinking that LoA must have done an insane bargain with Beron to let her child live. And what if this bargain implies joining their lives?

Now you think. A High Lord having his life connected to someone makes his vulnerability double, right? Beron would never want that.

But truthfully... Who is Beron's biggest threat? Eris.

By the time Lucien was born Beron had already realized that Eris was a momma's boy. (Because he is and you can't change my mind on this)

"But Eris is trying to get Beron killed and he would never kill his mother" . Precisely, I don't think Eris knows about this, and this is Beron's ultimate weapon. Beron can entertain himself, looking at how far Eris will go, just to crash all of his hopes in the last second when he tells him the truth.

This would also explain why LoA seems to have such little freedom. If she cheated on Beron for decades we can assume she used to have more independence and freedom in her marriage. This does not seem to be the reality anymore (although we don't know a lot about her character), and that has probably changed after Lucien was born/the "bargain" was made. She kinda reminds me of Rapunzel in a way!

Now if Eris finds out he will not have it in him to kill his mother along Beron. If Lucien finds out, so won't he. If Helion finds out I don't think he would either.

(I've thought about the possibility of LoA having attempted to take her own life in the past, and somehow the bargain's magic not letting it work because it's like cheating on the magic, trying to run from the bargain or whatever. Now what if she attempts killing Beron herself? Would it work? Would it also not work?)

Just a quick headcanon but...

Imagine Eris healing little Lucien's wounds for the first time, and Lu acting all surprised that his brother could actually make acts of... kindness. Imagine how that would break Eris heart from within.

The brothers Vanserra: Eris (obvs), Galen, Damien (deceased), Caspien (short a leg), Bran (deceased), Atticus, and Lucien (also obvs).

it's a pretty common opinion that the way Autumn Court fire magic simply works as the classic "being able to shoot fire from your hands like a flamethrower" (from what we've seen so far). But. But. I have some other ideas for how this magic could work. What if, the wielders (which is what I gonna call them now) could use their fire magic like Sypha from Castlevania.

What if, instead of just raw fire, wielders could just channel that to form light and heat (like a lamp or the way Feyre glows). What if, when the using the full extent of their power, their skin becomes like molten lava with cracks and everything because their bodies became so hot from all that power. What if the flames the wielders produce could be different colors based on heritage. (The rest of the Vanserras having the standard orange and gold flames while Lucien's flames are lighter and more yellowish like the sun because he's Helion's son.)

Anyways, uh, that's all i have for now. If you actually stopped by to read my delirious ramblings then thx for coming to my ted talk, i would like to hear yalls thoughts. :)

Violet Vanserra ⚡️🔥

I am overjoyed to share this art of my OC made by @marbleboa ! Violet Vanserra is the older half-sister of Beron, and the daughter of Francesca Vanserra and a Monteserran emissary. She has fire powers from her mother’s side and lightning powers from her father’s side! She’s fierce and compassionate, but also cunning and ambitious, as any Vanserra should be.

Lucien Week 2024: Day 7 AU

Lucien sagged on the ground, trembling. His brothers frowned—the eldest going so far as to bare his teeth at me in a silent snarl. (ACOTAR, pg312)

In another world, Lucien’s brothers aren’t afraid to show that they would do anything to protect him. And Lucien knows there are people who love him no matter what or who tries to get in the way of family.

The tragedy of Lady of Autumn's character

The Lady of Autumn is a very tragic character that holds her pain close to her heart for no one to see.

This woman truly has lost almost everything. She has lost her freedom. She is abused.

First she lost her family. She lost her sisters who must have been dear to her. Then she lost her freedom and autonomy by being sold into marriage to a cold older man. She lost her identity, she's only a broodmare and a beautiful prop to be paraded around.

It is said that High Fae have a harder time conceiving. So to have 6 children from Beron imagine the amount of times she probably has been forced into that position or forced not to use any contraceptive method. And out of many children, all coming out as boys seems extremely weird if you ask me. It makes one wonder if there could have been female heirs that were... killed? Sent away?

Then she experiences true love one time in her life. Can you even blame her? For once she has something that her heart beats passionately for. And she has the addictive adrenaline of knowing that what makes her feel alive could very well be the reason she dies.

She's forced to watch Eris, still so young, be molded into Beron's shape by a cruel hand. She's forced to see Eris be physically and mentally abused by his own father to become just who he desires him to be. Set to marry when he's barely grown up, to a poor girl who would meet a similar end that she did. And she can only watch, not having the power to challenge Beron. She needs to have more children as she sees what Beron is turning them into.

And then Lucien is born and her fear must have been indescribable in the moment, upon looking at his features... How could she even run? Run how and where, lying in a bed after giving birth? When her baby has just been taken away from her arms.

God forbid knowing what happened between her and Beron after he found out. What he did do her. Or what type of deal she sealed with him to keep Lucien alive. It seems to feed on her soul and wither her life force away. She also never experienced romantic love again.

She watches Lucien being an outcast in his own family. Fitting in but never quite at the same time. Somehow Beron's harshness managed to amplify towards Lucien, she couldn't even believe an individual could have such a deep well of hatred to share inside oneself. The others watched this too, and consequently marked their younger brother as different from the day he was born.

She watches her children face each other as opponents, and saddens when she remembers she wanted them to have what her and her sisters did. Any brief brotherly moments warm her chest.

Lucien falls in a forbidden love just like she once did. She's powerless when Beron decides to kill Jesminda, in what she knows will irreparably shatter Lucien forever. She sees her other children participating in this deep act of brutality and tells herself she is no one and that she has failed. She can still hear Lucien's pleas and desperate cries. An alive ghost, present but not being able to manipulate reality. Lucien runs away and the others go after him. In that moment she convinces herself she will never see him again. She asks the Mother because she's the only who could hear her cries. From one mother to the other. The son of her passionate love. At that moment she regrets all of it, as she believed she only brought him into the world to suffer because of her impulses. It isn't Lucien that she never sees again, it's her other two children. She cried the death of the children she thought she hated. But she couldn't hate any of her children, not really, not ever. She still loved them all and it was so sick and twisted. She mourned the loss of three children, even if one was still alive.

She hates Beron. That's when she understands and finally believes in the existence of an infinite well of hatred. Each day his presence, his touch, his smell, grows more repugnant.

She looks herself in the mirror and she believes she has failed everyone. Her sisters. Helion. Herself. Her children, mainly Eris. But above all, Lucien.

All of this and she doesn't even have a name :/
