i despise carrots and i’m tired of it. the taste, the crunch, gross. however, in an act that can only be described as insanity, i purchased three carrots and am forcing myself to try them in different dishes. will update with my thoughts

i had to make a solution for this for myself, mostly because of depression, but it makes a nice How To for folks who are low on spoons or could use some help in the kitchen.
Fortunately i was a professional cook for over a decade. UNfortunately the first post i made explaining it was suuuuper long. Let's see if i can do better
So you select any protein that you can cook in a frying pan -- chicken breasts, ground beef, pork chops, sausages, steak, chicken thighs, whatever. You also select one or two types of veggie (mushrooms or tubers also work, i just did this with potatoes and carrots for dinner tonight).
[i like cooking for vegetarians, but this is how i cook for myself when i'm low on spoons - perhaps i'll do another post for meatless meals]
You'll also need some kind of oil, and a sauce or two of your choice in a bottle. All cooking gear is a large frying pan with lid (i prefer non-stick) a spatula, a cutting board, and a knife.
You cut the veggies into bite size pieces, cut up enough for two meals. One kind of veggie is fine, or you can do mix two or three
Tumblr media
Put frying pan on medium heat with a little oil. Tubers or mushrooms or go in the pan a few minutes before the protein. 2 portions of the protein goes in the pan, about 5 minutes with lid (don't worry you can still get a good sear on both sides)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Now flip your protein if it's flip-able and add normal veggies, put the lid back on another five-ish minutes.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Take your protein out and put it with one portion of the veggies in a microwave safe container. That's going to be your lunch tomorrow. Put the other portion of protein on a plate to rest (you have to let a cooked protein sit a couple minutes before you serve it or when you cut into it all the juices run out and it goes dry - the liquids thicken as it cools, preventing this drying out if you let it rest, the goal is to serve it very warm but not hot hot)
While it's resting, pour some sauce from your bottle in the pan with the rest of the veggies and turn up the heat. A single sauce/bottle is fine, i like to get fancy and mix a couple. Two examples of personal favorite mixes are 1: bbq sauce and a hot sauce like sriracha 2: roughly equal parts low sodium soy sauce and worcestershire (makes something similar to a teriyaki sauce) A swallow of wine is almost always a great option if you want to add that to your sauce too, just add it to the pan before the other sauces so the alcohol has time to burn off.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
...
Here is the important bit. While your veggies are finishing, wash your cutting board and chef knife. Then when you dump your veggies and sauce over your protein on the plate, while it is still too hot to eat, you wash your frying pan and spatula before you eat. Now the only dishes you have left to do are your plate and fork. Maybe a steak knife.
...
The whole thing takes about 35 minutes even with washing the dishes, and that includes your lunch for the next day- just pour a different sauce on and stick it in the microwave for a couple minutes (or five minutes back in the frying pan) and you have a full healthy lunch with a different flavor
You can use this technique every single meal and it yields hundreds of combinations, from pork and potatoes bbq, to salmon and broccoli teriyaki, to chicken and zucchini in a soy glaze.
It will keep you down to less than an hour of kitchen time per day total for both lunch and dinner including all dish clean up, uses the least dishes, the least effort, requires the least technique, and is, depending on what you pick out, very affordable
here are a couple more examples from this month; i didn’t take pictures of the salmon i did recently, but you get the idea
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it's not super fancy, but it is easy, affordable, quick, and any flavors you want. Hope this helps some folks
Happy Cooking!

little lunch mishap - s. gojo x reader
contents: fem!reader (called mom/momma), mentions of eating, gojo sucks at packing lunches for his kids, written a little after gojo finds megumi and tsumiki
when gojo first met megumi, he’d made sure his infinity was on; he had you and shoko throw random things at him from across the field with and without cursed energy to make sure it worked properly. now, two years later, he doesn’t even realize that it’s off around the seven-year-old kid—not until megumi nails him in the face with an unripe clementine.
“ow!” gojo exclaims, bringing his hand up to his cheek as he lets his sunglasses clatter to the floor. “what was that for, megs?”
megumi glares at gojo, holding a softer and riper clementine in his grasp. you glance over at them from the kitchen as they stare each other down.
“that was the fruit you put in my lunch,” megumi grumbles as he sinks his little fingers into his ripe clementine. “i know you packed it ‘cause mom normally peels them for me.”
“okay,” gojo starts as he leans over and picks up the clementine megumi threw at him, the skin split and the sticky juice dripping all over the tiled floor and his hands. he places the ruined fruit on the counter, bending over again and picking up his sunglasses. “momma had a mission this morning, so me—your amazing and awesome dad—packed your lunch and tsumiki’s,” gojo says with gritted teeth, putting unnecessary stress on the word ‘dad’. “and by the way,” he adds as an afterthought, “tsumiki ate all of her’s.” gojo puffs his chest triumphantly, settling his glasses back onto his face.
you glance at tsumiki as she does her homework, stifling your laughter when a small grimace washes over her features.
“was it that bad?” you ask her in a quiet whisper, making sure gojo and megumi don’t hear you.
tsumiki looks up at you and nods, “satoru made us sandwiches but i think he used the bread that you told him to throw out; it was kind of moldy.” she takes in your wide eyes and adds: “i didn’t eat it, i threw it away.”
you let out a relieved sigh, turning back around to pick up a plate of sliced apples and a cup of peanut butter. you place it down on the kitchen island next to tsumiki as she thanks you. megumi finishes shoving his peeled clementine in his mouth, passing the peel off to gojo as he takes a seat next to his sister.
“are you making lunch tomorrow for school?” he asks you, picking up an apple slice and taking a bite out of it.
you hum in response, scooping out some marshmallow fluff fruit dip you’d made a few days ago. you set it in front of gojo who begrudgingly reaches over and takes an apple slice. you stop megumi from slapping the fruit out of gojo’s hand.
“hey! it wasn’t that bad,” gojo insists through a mouthful of apple. megumi looks at him in disgust. “you had veggies, fruits, and a main meal! i even packed a snack in there!”
you sigh, “‘gumi, what did satoru pack you?”
megumi wipes his hands on a napkin as he looks at you. he makes a point to swallow before speaking. “an unripe clementine, a whole unpeeled carrot from the garden with its top still on, a moldy sandwich, and a family sized bag of skittles.” he swings his feet back and forth under the kitchen island, “i ate the carrot.”
you glance at satoru who reddens at megumi’s words, “okay… tsumiki, what was in yours?” you turn your attention to the little girl who sits next to megumi.
tsumiki glances at gojo in sympathy, “a moldy sandwich, a whole avocado, a green tomato that he picked from the garden even though megumi said it was unready, and a chocolate bar.” she looks at you with a smile, “i ate the avocado. i also had a square from the chocolate bar.”
you frown as you turn back around and pull out a bag of bread and an open bag of chips. gojo watches as you easily slather two slices of bread in peanut butter and strawberry jam, slicing it diagonally and placing the pieces on two different plates. you dump a generous amount of chips on each plate before placing them in front of megumi and tsumiki. you turn around and pick up the marshmallow fluff dip, sliding it into the fridge and shutting the door with your hip. gojo unabashedly stares at your ass when you bend over.
“okay, satoru,” you sigh as you turn towards him. he looks up at you with bright eyes, smiling into his palm. his glasses are on the counter. “from now on, you’ll take my morning missions and i’ll make their lunches.” you watch from the corner of your eye as megumi eagerly eats his chips and sandwich. “and you’ll throw out the bread when i tell you it’s gone bad.”
gojo drops his head on the counter. “you know, you’re so pretty, baby.” he looks up at you through his lashes, batting them intensely. “i’m truthfully so lucky to have you in my life.”
you look at him blankly. “and you’ll be doing the dishes for the next two weeks.”
“WHAT?”

Just tried to have a nap but instead thought about werewolf!Katsuki and Bunny!reader and i thought i should share😙
(if somebody already made something similar to this i didn't know this just popped up in my head while trying to have my afternoon nap)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Werewolf!Katsuki who walks through a bright, little forest one hot spring day and comes across little Bunny!reader in her garden collecting her veggies and fruits she had planted
Werewolf!Katsuki who wants a closer look at the little bunny and walks behind a tree to get a good look at the bunny in her short sundress
Werewolf!Katsuki who watches her as she collects up her carrots and moves on to her strawberry bush which is covered in large red strawberries
Werewolf!Katsuki who gets bored now watching the little bunny until she bends down to grab the strawberries that are lower in the bush and catches a glimpse of her bare pussy under the dress and her twitchy cotton ball tail
Werewolf!Katsuki who now has a large tent in his pants as he watches her with desire and lust as she swings her hips left and right as she collects the yummy strawberries
Werewolf!Katsuki who can't get enough of her little cunt on display for him in the warm sunlight
Werewolf!Katsuki who walks away from the tree and quietly climbs over her fence surrounding her garden and is intoxicated by the closer sight of her cunt covered in her slick and who just now needs a taste for himself
Werewolf!Katsuki who kneels down behind the obvious little bunny and sticks his face right in her cunt making her yelp out in surprise and quickly turns her head to glare at him
Werewolf!Katsuki who doesn't even give her a chance to speak before he licked a long strip of her pussy making her moan out
Werewolf!Katsuki whose pupils dilate at the taste of her cunt and starts lapping at her pussy with greed
Bunny!Reader who tries moving away from his tongue making him roughly grab her by waist and flipping her around so her back in on the grass and so there's a less likely chance of her wiggling away from his grip and greedy tongue
Werewolf!Katsuki who holds the bunny down by her thighs as he licks, sucks and sips on her little cunt leaving her a whining and whimpering mess
Werewolf!Katsuki who makes the bunny squirt on his face as she cums
Werewolf!Katsuki who sits up and wipes his chin with the back of his hand from her cum and his sip and she lays on the floor panting and trying to catch her breath
Werewolf!Katsuki who sees her little bucket of carrots and picks a nice thick one before shoving it up her cunt making her moan loudly
Werewolf!Katsuki who picks Bunny!reader up and fixes her little sundress off from grass and dirt while she stands there with wobbly legs and a carrot shoved up her cunt
Werewolf!Katsuki who stands up straight looking down at the bunny before press his lips to hers for a brief moment letting her taste herself before pulling and away and speaking with a lazy smirk on his face "Be a good little bunny and keep that carrot up there for me later, yeah?" he speaks with a soft-ish tone while the little bunny nods her head even though there's nothing really going on in there since it's hazy from her orgasm
"Good bunny" he says before giving her a little pat on the ass and leaving
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Uhm so this is like my first writing like post so i know there's probably mistakes somewhere in it but if you could please point it out or just tell me so i could improve that'll be great!
xx, Ashie

hi jadey would you do something with r peeling an orange for peter even though he’s perfectly capable of doing it for himself but she wants to do acts of service for him ☹️🫶
There are some bad boyfriends out there. Guys who’d rather argue, who won’t walk their girls to the door, who never help with the dishes. There are losers who expect things after they pay for dinner, and never say please.
Peter Parker is the polar opposite of all those men. Peter Parker gets home from a long day at work and a short shift as his crime-fighting alter ego and makes you a hot chocolate without asking how many marshmallows you want. “Hello,” he says, kissing you behind the ear as he comes around you from behind, the hot chocolate set carefully next to your laptop. “Did you hear me come in, or are you ignoring me?”
The former, for sure. You beam to yourself and twist in his hold to meet his eyes, brown and wide where they take you in. “Hello!” you say, not shouting, but certainly not whispering either. “I never hear you. You’re a cheater.”
“You have ears,” he says.
“And I choose not to use them.”
“You okay?” He gives your shoulder a concerned rub. When you nod, it turns to a quicker, softer patting. “Okay. I’m gonna make dinner, yeah? I’m starving.”
He’s strange in that he says ‘starving’ like he’s excited about the feeling. You nod and he nods back, tangible affection in the air between you before he presses his nose to your forehead and leaves.
You’re just a girl. You finish what you’d been working on as quickly as you can and close your laptop, sipping at the hot chocolate he’d made you with a smirk. Your boyfriend loves you a lot. He’s handsome and tall and smart but he fucking loves you; Peter comes home from a long day hungry and makes you a drink.
“My love.” You push open the kitchen door.
“Yeah?” he asks.
“I can make dinner.”
“No, that’s fine. I’m making it.”
“I can do it, Pete,” you say, putting your mug down on the counter.
“I’m gonna do it,” he says, taking your hands, moving you out of the way of the fridge. His smile is as sugary as his eyes. “You have hot chocolate to drink. Before it’s cold chocolate.”
“Boo.” You let him win reluctantly. He’s too strong, you argue to yourself smugly, he could totally take you in a fight. There’s never any winning with him.
Peter turns the oven on and lights the stovetop, a frying pan on the heat, a square of butter melting in the centre. He cuts the veggies swiftly, asking question from over his shoulder. How was your day, babe? Did you eat enough? Did that headache come back?
You lean on the counter and take a clementine from the fruit bowl. It was fine, you tell him, digging your fingers into the skin. Not much to say. I ate plenty. Headache stayed at home. The sharp citrus smell of torn pith hits the air as you peel the skin from the fruit's flesh. Then you spend a good five minutes taking off the stringy white bits as Peter fries your veggies with some leftover chicken from last night.
“Here,” you say, breaking the clementine into pieces.
“Oh, thank you,” he says, taking one from the well of your hand.
He eats it so fast you could argue he doesn’t taste it.
“It’s for you, Peter,” you say, putting the rest of the clementine on the chopping board next to the carrot tops. “I’ll peel you another one. I know one’s not enough for you.”
“Au contraire,” he murmurs, grabbing your waist, tugging you in, orange on his breath as you let him take your weight and move in. “You’re the only one for me.”
“Terrible,” you murmur back.
Peter’s grinning as he takes your face into his hand. He tips your head back, your heart fluttering just as much as it did the very first time he touched you like this, his eyes lit by a deep, unignorable sweetness for you. “Thank you,” he says. “You’re real nice to me, huh?”
“Thank you for the hot chocolate.”
“That wasn’t me. That was just sitting here when I got in.”
You wrap your arm around his neck to close him in. “Sure it was.”
“It was!” He kisses the corner of your mouth eagerly. Each word he says after is half smothered by the press of his lips on your cheek and the soft skin just below your eye as you laugh. “Wanna feed me as I stir? I think our dinner’s burning.”
“If you keep kissing me, then yeah. I’ll peel every orange in that bowl for you.”
Such a promise spurs another round of soft kisses.

I highly enjoyed the chili you made and posted the recipe for....would you mind sharing beef stew recipe secrets?
sure, here it is- this is a modified stew that's higher on cheap vegetables and lower on beef, but still has a lot of flavor
EASY ONE-POT BEEFY STU
1 pound or less of cubed beef, a fatty cut is better
3 large yukon gold potatos
1 yellow onion
4 carrots
4 cups beef stock
5 cloves garlic
1 tsp thyme
1 bay leaf
1 tbs worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup tomato paste
salt
pepper
couple tablespoons of flour (gluten free fine to sub)
olive oil
chop your veggies roughly, heat the oil on medium heat and gently roll the cubed meat first in salt and pepper, then in the flour just until they're no longer sticky. brown the meat in the pot until you get some good color and the flour starts to form a brown layer on the bottom of the pot, then dump the onions on top of it and stir them around until the onions start to get translucent or until that flour layer on the pot starts to turn dark brown, whichever comes first. don't let it burn! add the garlic close to the end of this, it only needs about 30 seconds or so until it stop smelling acrid.
once the flour is in danger of getting too dark, dump the beef stock in on top and swoosh it around with a spatula until all the stuff stuck to the bottom of the pot has been dissolved, then stir in the tomato sauce and remaining spices. make sure everything is homogenous and then add the veggies, lower the heat, cover and simmer for one hour or until the potatoes are cooked through, stirring occasionally.
after the potatoes are soft, check for taste and add more salt and maybe a little more worchestershire sauce as needed. remove the lid and cook for another hour, stirring often, and then you can FINALLY eat it.
the starch from the potatoes makes it REALLY thick, you really don't need to do more than that.

Rui's parents are good parents who love and support their son in all his endeavors and I think Rui would be really open towards them. Especially after joining Wondershow.
Anyways, Rui's mom asked if she could use Rui's phone and Rui's like "Sure"
She ended up needing to open the gallery, asked him, and he's like "yeah I don't mind"
What he forgets is that he had walls and walls of Tsukasa Tenma photos. His poses, him passing out after a day of practice, him admiring something, him mid rehearsal, etc. Just him too.
As he comes to the sudden realization, his mom is already looking at him expectantly.
Rui: (it clicks) "Mom wait oh n-"
Rui's Mom: "..."
Rui: "...I can explain"
That's the first time Rui's mom actually saw Tsukasa instead of just hearing about him. She gets tempted to tease him, but Rui's a full blown wreck at this point, snatching his phone away and curling up in the corner of the couch.
It's so much like his middle school behavior, but for such a different reason. She can't help but smile.
She just goes up to her son, pats his head, and just whispers "You can do it!" to him before leaving.
...Rui ate his veggies for dinner without much complaint that night. His mother just laughs while his father is over there like "Huh. What. What happened. Is everything ok?? Rui are you actually EATING your carrots??!?"
