Last night I finally finished the latest season of Mythic Quest. I couldn’t be motivated to watch it for awhile, knowing C.W. wasn’t there anymore. It was nice seeing a glimpse of Ian’s having read the books as a kid. “Sci-fi erotica,” he called them. Is that how they were marketed?

Anyways, I love reading and re-reading the Tears of The Anaren “first draft” they published as a promo for the show, and listening to the audiobook version too. I keep thinking what a video game version would be like. I think it could really work, in-universe.

Even if Harrow casts aside like. Her ritual paint and religious stuff from no longer believing in John, I dont think she'll ever be comfortable having long hair. Maybe not even a bare face if she has the choice. Her clothing may not be religious anymore, but not having those things is stuff she associates with a lack of autonomy and the worst times in her life, especially the long hair. She might keep the trappings of the office or find other ways to veil that arent about the original reasons, but i dont think she'll ever completely change in that aspect.
