Second entry of 1994 to use the Val d'Isère licence. Val d'Isère Skiing and Snowboarding is a sports game released in 1994 for the Atari Jaguar. Developed by Virtual Studio and published by Atari Corporation, this game lets players experience skiing and snowboarding events set in the renowned Val d'Isère resort in the French Alps, which is also licensed in the game. Players can choose between three different events: downhill, slalom, and giant slalom.

The game offers three modes Free Ride which allows players to explore at their own pace. A Training mode to help you practice skills without competition pressure and a Competition mode with players required to complete a series of timed challenges.

The gameplay features 2D sprites to simulate a 3D effect, similar to classic early racing games, where the speed is a key element, requiring quick reflexes to avoid obstacles and complete the courses successfully. #sports #gaming #videogames
