How Much Does A Virtual Reality Headset Cost?
How Much Does A Virtual Reality Headset Cost?
Before purchasing a VR headset, you need to consider how much it will cost you. The price of VR headsets depends on the type of experience you want to enjoy. Some headsets require a gaming PC while others can work without any extra hardware. These models are usually more expensive. Oculus Quest 2 Oculus Quest 2 is an all-in-one VR system that doesn’t require a console or PC to use. It provides…

my augmented reality community garden again - outside in the sunlight this time ☀
the idea for this one is to show how AR glasses could be used in future classrooms - with children exploring virtual gardens together and learning about plants via facts hidden in their roots. 🌻

sweet voice systems that use actual colour meanings are awesome, but i love ones that are super fucked up.. it fits the whole thing so well
i love basing them entirely on rhymes or spinning a wheel and picking a random colour just for the hell of it. envy is copper like a penny? sure! anger is green? fuck yeah!

Musing: I still think people are sleeping on the effects of VR on plural acceptance.
Psychologically, I expect singlets will have a much easier time accepting headmates if they're seeing those headmates fronting from their own digital bodies than if they only saw them in the physical body.

Au where sqq was a popular/famous vr graphic designer specialising in avatars and animations and 3d modelling, and sqh worked on the side/before pidw as a grey hat hacker, and together they take the system apart and add all sorts of mods and features. Cat ears. Sci fi effects. Playing games on the system. Sqq manages to screw with something important and gets access to vr chat style dream realm, where poor mm is extremely surprised to have sections blocked off without an invite.

Happy 3rd anniversary FNaF AR: Special delivery!
Im a little late (25/11) but this monster took their sweet time to be ready.
This silly little game that I cant even play on my own cellphone means a lot to me, I had so much fun designing gijinkas for all the skins and important animatronics additions (Shadow Bonnie, 8bit baby, Golden Freddy) and I’ve enjoying tellling stories with them on my AU.
The fandom is like... 15 people /j but honestly it feels nice to be in a niche place where the only “drama” is the people complaining about a game they dont like, demanding stuff that doesnt even fit with the narrative Illumix (and steelwool) was delivering to us. Im just here to have fun.
So... which one is your favorite?~
Edit: Tumblr eat most of the tags please please how do i make this be seen now im already shadowbanned oh my god /neg

🇺🇲 Let's explore the captivating rise and fall of Virtuality Group, a pioneering force in virtual reality gaming that made a lasting impact on the industry!
📑 Virtuality Group was originally founded in October 1987 as "W Industries", named after Dr. Jonathan D Waldern, and later rebranded as Virtuality in 1993. The company quickly became a trailblazer in VR technology, crafting immersive gaming experiences that ignited the imaginations of players worldwide. Their innovative arcade systems offered unprecedented levels of interactivity and immersion.
🚀 Virtuality's timing was impeccable, coinciding with a surge in public interest in virtual reality technology in the early 1990s, fueled in part by the film "Lawnmower Man." Recognizing gaming as the primary market for VR devices, Virtuality released the 1000CS arcade variant of the 1000SU in 1991, leveraging the "cyberspace" branding that resonated with the era's VR buzz.
💰 Virtuality's groundbreaking VR systems found diverse applications, from networked telepresence experiments at British Telecom Research Laboratories to corporate use by companies like Ford, IBM, Mitsubishi, and Olin.
🎮 The mid-1990s marked a pivotal moment for Virtuality Group with collaborations alongside gaming giants Sega and Atari, resulting in groundbreaking products such as Sega's VR-1 motion simulator and Atari's Jaguar VR headset. These partnerships underscored VR's potential for mainstream gaming audiences.
💔 Despite early success, Virtuality Group encountered significant challenges that led to their bankruptcy. Factors like high production costs, limited consumer adoption of VR technology, and fierce competition in the gaming market contributed to their decline. The shift towards home gaming systems accelerated the decline of arcade sales, and Virtuality's attempts to penetrate the home VR market fell short, ultimately leading to bankruptcy in 1997.
🌐 Virtuality Group's legacy endures as a testament to the early days of VR gaming, highlighting the risks and rewards of innovation in the tech industry. Their collaborations with Sega and Atari continue to inspire advancements in VR technology today.

I can see the PQ4 ending representing Vanessa and not Vanny and it being some sort of representation of Vanessa being freed
But also
The ending really Doesn't feel good????
Like not that it's bad- it's just so,,, eerie???? It doesn't feel like we've done something right and we're watching a victim be freed, it feels like we've done something Incredibly Fucking Wrong and the fact that Moon is the one helping her + the end credits theme really. Do Not Help with the vibe of us doing something right.

Is the first piece of fanart I did for this series a thirty minute sketch of a one-off side character? Yes. Am I ashamed? Not really. I really like the idea of a DJ mechanite. yes I kNOW he has a canon design that’s nothing like this. But Dom described HE-11 differently and I couldn’t stop thinking about daft punk so here we are.
