Hi! I have a question for a friend of a friend: Why are you so damn nice, awesome, funny, creative and an all-around great person?

Because I have an awesome bestie who is now also my twinsie we have evolved in only a week it truly is incredible. Maybe you've heard of her, she's @ethelspetals and she is a fantastic Shadowheart YouTuber as well as a fantastic writer and the Smut Queen™.

If you simp God's favorite princess, like to write fanfiction for her or both then I highly reccomend checking out her channel. All her content is wonderfully edited and thought out and thorough. Her channel is Shadowfallen.

Unbiased: I was a big fan of her channel long before we actually started talking. When I would look for Shadowheart stuff I would look for her channel. And when we met on Tumblr I didn't realize who she was and when I did it was my celebrity star struck moment. So I'm not just saying her content is fantastic because she's my twinsie, I'm saying it because this woman deserves more credit than she gets because she creates amazing content.

Did I mention she's my twinsie? Because she is. If it weren't for this Fandom I would've missed out on my bestest friend in the whole world. We've known each other about a week and it feels like I've known her the past 5 years of my life. Can only compare it to my current partner who I've known for as many years as I haven't known them. So my twinsie really is special. Did I mention I love her? I love my twinsie. She's wonderful. The strongest Shadowheart simp I know.

Everytime I talk to her, she might as well just say this because thats what it feels like when we reunite during the day.

Burn Out

"Azure flame," Moon whispered into the darkness, and a small flame flickered to life on the tip of her wand, which she then used to light the candle on her desk-or at least, what was left of the candle. Its wax was nearly burned out.

Moon scooted her chair closer to the desk, and opened her journal, which was filled with notes on her magical studies and countless attempts to dip down. 

Her sleepless nights could at least be useful for something productive, and if Glossaryck wasn't willing to teach her, well, then she'd have to be the one to teach herself.

She wasn't successful yet, but what other option did she have? Every moment she can't access her strongest magic is another moment in which her kingdom is in peril.

She tried to reassure herself that with the new accords, she needn't worry as much about the safety of her people-but the monsters could not be trusted, as Moon was well aware. They already betrayed one queen when they were on the verge of peace; What's to stop them from doing it again?

She breathed in. The bright flame danced to the rhythm of her breaths, an entrancing dance of hope and despair.

Moon summarized queen Skywynne's chapter as her thoughts wandered towards her bed, for the hour was terribly late, and she was exhausted. The idea of collapsing into the soft sheets and closing her eyes for a well-deserved nap before the break of dawn was more than appealing. 

But she knew she couldn't, for she knew what awaited her when she let her eyes close. 

And Moon knew that if she had to see those horrors again, she would finally lose her mind.

No, she would give up the luxury of sleep and settle on using one of queen Crescenta's spells-a spell which allowed one to stay awake for as long as necessary. For now, she works. She must figure out how to dip down. Failing was not an option.

And as the young queen worked late into the night, the small flame burned true, offering with its light what little hope it could.

Only when daybreak hit her window with the first rays of dawn, her flame finally gave in and was smothered, wax devoured whole. And with the dying of her light, came the death of hope.
