How do you make your gifs in BG3?
As a disclaimer, my giffing knowledge comes from Ye Olde Tutorials back in 2010s so I don't know if there's a more effective way now 😭
Generally speaking, I record the scene in-game using Xbox Game Capture (or any other screen recording software) with the game UI toggled off (F10 key).
I use ffmpeg to create frames from the video recording. Then, I import those frames in Photoshop via File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack. (You can also import the video directly in Photoshop and extract the frames from there but... the way I do it is more reliable and way faster...!)
After resizing and cropping, I use a Photoshop Action I made to automate creating the GIF from the imported frames:

And then the usual editing with Adjustment Layers and such! When I'm done, Timeline > Convert to Video Timeline for a smoother animation.
To export as GIF, File > Export > Save as Web (Legacy). Then I process it further in ezgif.com to compress it or slow down/speed up the GIF, and sometimes, I convert it to WebP to compress the size further ;_;
