listening to wtnv in 2024 makes me understand immediately why tumblr over a decade ago thought this shit was the coolest thing ever. it casually but flawlessly parodies the us surveillance state, ultra-militarized police forces, inane human resource bureaucracies and the blasé of the suburban middle class all within the span of three episodes with a very tongue in cheek slice of life format that doesn’t sound possible on paper but is executed absolutely absurdly well

Okay so I listened to the latest WTNV episode last night and I have to put my thoughts down bc I am going insane over the lore drop

So firstly, if I'm not wrong, this is the first time we ever heard Abby omg????

Then, NOW CANON PHYSICAL DESCRIPTIONS?!? THAT'S INSANE I'M TAKING NOTES FOR WHEN I COSPLAY OR DRAW CECIL

On one hand I would love to ac

so we now know both Abby and Cecil have a nose with a thin bridge and an upturn at the tip! And they both have dimples

Also each thing we learn about their dad is crazy to me??

On one hand I would love to get more answers and maybe even have someone communicate with the dad, on the other I think it's best if it stays some type of mystery! Knowing wtnv tho any answers will turn it more into a mystery, that's kinda what happened with that episode

Also I think it's really interesting to have Abby's perspective on their relationship in generally ESPECIALLY on how Cecil used to treat Steve, because it had been treated like a joke forever with the occasional moments from Steve's perspective that made it a bit more serious but there it had a really serious and sad tone fully calling Cecil out and I think it's great

Also I'm sure next episode will be more lighthearted filler type of episode since we had two pretty serious episodes

Also anything about their dad legit scars me

And last thought, although I can kindaaa emphasize with Cecil's and Abby's mom bc she lost a husband I HATE her
