Ace: …But once I step outside my room, I gotta deal with strange rules, scary upperclassmen, and insanely hard homework.

Ace: I saw a video yesterday that says that thicker eyebrows are in right now, so I'll just try to follow that tutorial and draw in where it's lacking…

Ace: Now all I got left is my eye makeup… What should I do for the suit? I'd like to use something with a bit of lamé in it, but…

Ace: I bet the Housewarden'll get all huffy if it's too fancy. Guess I should just do what I normally do.

So. I've always wanted to get better at drawing someone's likeness with just lines so I decided to do a couple of sketches of Ga On as practice. And then decided to up the difficulty and practise on expressions while still capturing his likeness. Because why make things easy for myself? References were used for all of them (even the bratty, pouty one).

And yes, we definitely needed Actual Baby Deer Kim Ga On. Because of reasons.

vash is the meister and wolfwood is the death scythe

wolfwood's original partner was livio but due to events livio is now presumed dead/missing, leaving wolfwood without a partner for a long time

livio is however very much alive and eventually he'll return with his new weapon who is razlo (how does it work? basically imagine razlo as ragnarok)

wolfwood scythe form is his giant machine gun (still thinking if he should be like tsubaki is able to change forms so that when he finally accepts vash as his partner he changes into vash's gun instead of always being a machine gun..... and can later transform into that wicked weapon vash's angel arm changes into)

vash himself is death (i suppose.. though nobody knows... yet) and he still brings chaos wherever he goes. he has been without a partner for a very very long time

due to walking around without a scythe, he has a lot of scars thanks to the fights he cannot avoid and his immense desire to save everyone

meryl and milly are naturally around and they are meister and weapon

they are currently looking for a chaotic meister that leaves a trail of destruction behind

when vash and wolfwood first start working together as partners, wolfwood makes his scythe self heavier just to see vash struggle as much as possible whenever they arent in combat because really what the fuck is up with this dude hating to kill?? you ARE literally death incarnate grow up

completelyyy unrelated to that is that people hear and tell many different versions of the same story: of a great battle many many many years ago that brought great destruction. despite names changing many times most seem to agree that one of the beings was called knives millions and that his heart only knew destruction. the ending differs for a lot of people, most agree there were no survivors but some believe there was only one because how else would the story exist ("ain't nobody surviving that, its just a story" an old man shook his head "but if someone did survive, they are either death or the devil itself")

so thus far no one has found out that vash is that "one" survivor nor have they found out that knives didnt actually die but instead he is trapped as vash refused to kill him then

but how long will he stay trapped? how long until he breaks free again?

idc that jack was mean to stede, jack clearly had his reasons for what he was doing, the onus here is on ed 100% for not sticking up for stede. if someone is insulting your friend in front of you, that’s on you for not saying shit about it, especially if the insults are related to body image. if stede had let someone insult ed’s body in front of him you would lose your shit so maybe chill with the double standard

I'm gonna say some things that sound kind of mean, but I want you to either a) read the whole thing; or b) let this be the last anon you send. Don't come at me about the first paragraph in my inbox if you don't read the rest of it. Deal? K good.

I genuinely wouldn't lose my shit because it's not that big of a deal. Ed's a big boy he can stick up for himself. I don't actually take the insulting of body image that seriously because I'm not insecure about how I look. I get that I might feel differently if I was but I'm not so to me body image insults are like any other insults. Of course I back my friends if someone else insults them, but that's not what's going on in Ed's mind. In Ed's mind Jack has a crass sense of humor and uses not-so-gentle ribbing to relate to other people, which is perfectly acceptable for pirates, and that's what he's doing to Stede. He doesn't think that Jack is using fighting words here. Under those circumstances I would pull the friend aside and say "Hey babe his sense of humor is a bit crass he doesn't mean anything by it he's just trying to joke around with you." So basically you're kind of assuming a lot about me, about the situation, and how mad I would be if a similar thing happened to Ed and your assumptions about me have all been wrong so far. I don't have a double standard. You're just assuming that I have the same standards that you do. I don't. I think your standards make you sound like kind of an uptight person actually.

Additionally, Ed literally doesn't know he has body image issues, Stede never opened up about the bullying he experienced, so Ed can't know that it's actually serious for Stede. That being said, I think his response is actually pretty appropriate when correcting for that.

If he'd made a big stink about it it would have embarrassed Stede and killed the vibe that he and Jack had going. What you're expecting from him is the exact wrong move IMO.

Also Stede is 48 fuckin years old. If he's that upset he's grown he can say something. He doesn't because he's Stede, but that means he's made it his own business and nobody else's. Ed's not a fucking mind reader.
