There isn't really anything Gregory can do for Bonnie..

Its hard to explain,, but I'll try. Bonnie is missing his leg from the middle of his shin down. So he cant stand up right like Foxy because- well duh, he's missing a whole foot.

So order to fix Bonnies leg so he can stand/walk like Foxy does, he would need an entire replacement foot with a working joint. This would also mean that the wires in Bonnies legs would have to be replaced and hooked up so that he can control said new foot.

Currently there are no spare parts around that fit Bonnies model.. and even if they did, Gregory wouldn't know how to properly re-wire an animatronic foot. He's smart but not THAT smart <XDD

The only thing Gregory could do is make Bonnie a weird peg leg that makes his current leg longer. Currently Bonnies half leg is shorter than his good leg. But in all honesty Bonnie doesn't really want that.

Having Gregory ducttape this weird goofy peg leg to him would be more embarrassing then what he already has. He'd probably want to salvage what ever dignity he has left and say "ah give it a rest. There's no point. My legs good enough for what its for." <:/

If I remember correctly... Sometime ago my tablet pen broke. And it took like 2-3 weeks for a new one to arrive. In the mean time I tried to make an art doll of sorts. That doll was Bibi!

I ended up making a lot of goofy posts with Bibi and I as I waited for my pen to arrive. Once it finally did and I went back to drawing comics, I ended making Bibi a reoccurring character. And he's been around ever since!

Now Jangles is a Halloween prop that I bought because I thought it was funny. I was practicing making quilts one time and I made a small blue one that just so happened to be the right size for him. So I put it on and then I thiiink I got the idea to add Jangles to my blog as a joke.? I gave Bibi a "new friend" to celebrate hitting 10,000 followers. The new friend was a cropped png of jangles XD

Eventually down the line I wanted to give Bibi an proper friend. So for Bibi's birthday I drew a comic where Jangles came to life and here we are XD

<XD thank you. So far I have some pretty basic ones I imagine. Wally's house is alive and evil, Julie is actually a scary monster but has drastically altered her appearance to look less scary.. Sally is very celestial in nature because she's a real star, Eddie used to be a real human and bleeds and has a heart beat and what not.. uuuuuuh what elseeee,,, I liked to imagine that Sally and Julie came to the neighborhood when they were really young and Poppy kind'a adopted them?? Although I don't know how wide spread that idea is XD

1: I'm sure there would be somethings that would push his anxiety to the surface. I'm not sure what they'd be but still- I imagine if Luigi was around to see it he would try to get Mario out of what ever situation he's in. If he's in a crowd he'd try to help him slip away unnoticed.

2: I'm not familiar with the giga bell, but if I did add it I'd imagine those would be the side effects yeah <XD Really sore and tired and cant really move for like 3 days :x

Remodeled or not, I wont be adding any of those animatronics to the Pizzaplex. I already wrote the entire past of this timeline, and those bots all already have a story in my AU. And with their given stories it wouldn't make sense for them to be added to the Pizzaplex.

Of course I cant spoil what those stories are, just know that I have my reasons-

drawing imaginary parallels between Micheal and Gregory because I’m insane

How do you think the Mimic felt knowing his “Crying child”/Evan ended up becoming his Micheal? When the mimic decided to take on the persona of William Afton, it knew he had children, it knew of his connections to others thanks to the data it scanned on the circuit boards. So it only made sense that in his own way, he’d begin to make himself alike to William right down to his own family.

Anyways back to Gregory. Right off the bat from the trailer itself, it was obvious that Gregory was made to look similar to the crying child. I think this was done on purpose as, from what I was saying earlier, with the mimic attempting to mirror his existence to that of William Afton in every way, including his family, and with Gregory’s extreme likeness to William's youngest child, it would only make sense why he would become a target, a perfect silhouette to fill that “Crying Child” placeholder even if was to kill random school counselors and code the animatronics to be evil. What the Mimic did not expect was for Gregory to free himself from his control and immediately, in Gregory’s period of delirium, not even realizing he had been mind controlled, immediately knew to come for the source of the one who mind controlled Vanessa and caused the animatronics to go haywire, Him.  I have no doubt that from the information on William that the Mimic has, that he saw that likeness between Micheal and Gregory. Micheal has been William’s foil throughout the Afton Saga (games 1-6). Each time Micheal defeated William it was through trial by fire, literally. (I purposely didn’t mention Fnaf 7 (UCN) because that takes place with William in hell and the Mimic would not know about that lol.) And with Gregory in the canon ending literally setting ablaze the Pizzaplex with him in it, I can imagine the sheer horror of this things face, thinking that the one placeholder it knew not to fill, the only one of William’s sons that it knew shouldn’t be recreated in his own revulsion came through in Gregory. Gregory is the Mimic’s foil, his Micheal. 

Or maybe I’m delusional and far too gone from the Gregory brain rot that is slowly killing me

• Molten is basically taking a backseat in the plot but he is still important. Its time to give the others time to shine :)

• Lefty (I miss him) is probably the closest to a protagonist in this story. He's basically pushing the plot forward with his actions. But alas, he's a fucking coward so it's probably gonna focus on the animatronixs and Lefty's fear first before anything else happens.

• You're probably wondering why I said Lefty is the protagonist in this story but the one I posted has Bryan as the protag. Well you see, I planned a prequel and a sequel. With the prequel as Bryan being the MC and Lefty as the MC in sequel. The prequel is basically just me revisting season 1 and rewriting it and just putting Bryan and the animatronics through outlandish situation but less focused on the portal. Like making Bryan learn drifting. The portal is still there of course but it plays a very minor role. Although there are some things I wanted to try with it like making them join MCC XDDDDD. Its just me having fun. There's plot there but not like the sequel has with Lefty as the MC.

• Glitchtrap? He pulled a Springtrap and is in a computer. You know where this is going.

• Valerie? She doesn't die.

• Sun? Moon? Steve? They'll turn up eventually.

• Security Breach Mode? Aha. Ha. He's a security animatronic for a reason. Moon isn't yet he is anyway.

• I'm gonna try to incorporate their special abilities in the canon but that's still a work in progress.

• I wonder how Bryan got Glitchtrap out of Twisted Bonnie? Oh. And his name is Bon now. He's not a Glamrock :)

things I consider canon to my flashlight duo universe:

gregory and Evan move in together when they're adults. evan runs to live with the fazbears as soon as he turns 18 and they go from there. whether it's college or just an apartment

gregory is what introduces Evan to drawing and he loves it. they both keep up with the hobby when they're older as well. gregory likes drawing comics and maybe becomes a graphic novelist and I think Evan would like painting

Evan eventually meets vanessa when hes about 14 and she becomes the older sibling he always wanted. he always felt intimidated by her idea because shes Gregory's actual biological sibling and Evan holds that to a high honor because he wants to be. but they get along and vanessa being there for Evan makes him feel like part of the family even more

Roxy and evan are close. roxy kinda takes Evan under her wing because although its not the same experience because roxy had a support system her whole life, she wants to help him through what she also went through. she helps him learn an outlet to control his emotions more to be more manageable and is a calm shoulder to lean on for evan.

in the event that the bite happens (it doesnt usually), I think after Evan heals and recovers he and bonnie would bond over their scars and bonnie would make him feel better about them

evan meets cassidy later on when hes mellowed out some. I dont think she would have liked him a lot before but when hes healed more and gotten better with his sensitivity they get along pretty good. I think cassidy wouldnt have many friends and probably be considered a troublemaker because of her anger issues and her lashing out and Evan uses what hes learned with his emotions to help her. I'll say they're both teens here

freddy and the other adults wanted nothing more than to march over to the Aftons and declare that they're taking Evan forever but they couldnt. I think that they wanted to actually go through a process of adoption and taking custody but that would have affected Michael too and I'm not sure if they thought it was worth it. especially when Evan says hes alright with the fact that things arent perfect and that he already practically spends his whole life there anyway with how he spends the night.

I imagine william isnt the best cook and Michael probably has other means of getting food on top of not minding eating frozen dinners. but I imagine Evan probably didn't like a lot of foods (hes a kid and also. neurodivergent) and didnt have many things he enjoyed. so I think chica saw this and introduced evan to different foods and tried to help him figure out what he likes so he can eat better and enjoy it at the same time

Gregory and Evan are avid claw machine players

off screen when they're not having a moment with eachother every 5 seconds they play games like roblox and minecraft since they're in the modern day. I think Gregory gave Evan one of his older phones that still worked since he didnt have his own (theres nothing wrong with it, just an older model and maybe a little slow) and he plays on that.

gregory will draw during sleepovers and then give it to Evan to color in. gregory always keeps them and hangs them up or puts them somewhere for safe keeping because Evan doesnt want something to happen to them at his house

gregory hates pickles and Evan loves them

evan is an avid sweater wearer and the Fazbears buy him more when he only has like 1 or 2 and his other clothes are starting to get too small. he keeps sweaters at Gregory's house because he basically lives there already

theres a movie night every saturday while everyone is available at the Fazbears

michael starts to lay off a bit after a little while (think a couple years) just because Evan isnt even around as much for him to terrorize. Michael doesn't like being at home either and since they dont see eachother as much bullying Evan isnt in his minds eye as often. it just doesnt come to mind to do as much at that point

because of genes and chica helping him eat good, evan grows to be taller than Michael

evan experiments with gender later in life as a young adult and is lowkey surprised to learn that Gregory has been transgender this whole time

evan develops huge holiday spirit and for the rest of his days loves to decorate and do holiday-ey things for the season

❤: Which character do you think is the most egregiously mischaracterized by the fandom?

Louis <3 I think this is an affect of how likable and overtly sympathetic he is in the amc show but I've seen people getting genuinely offended over Louis being described in fandom (and by Anne rice herself) as a manipulative cold hearted ass who uses his perceived vulnerability and gentleness to distract from the fact that he is just as cruel if not crueler then the other vampires. Like Louis does nottt have strong morals or high empathy lmao. Book Louis weaponizes his privilege like a white woman crying to self victimize into making the other vampires look worse them him 😭 . He refuses to kill humans for a while not bcus it hurts him to take life (he actually takes more pleasure in it then most), he refuses bcus he has catholic brain the way a christians who say "how do atheists have morals without god?" do, misunderstanding that most people actually care about other people and dont need an existential threat to encourage them not to hurt others.

His moral compass is self centered and based in up keeping the appearance of self restraint and monk style lack of enjoying himself, not empathy. If a vampire killed u would u feel better if u knew he cried over how much he got off on it then flaunted his suffering over how little he indulged so that everyone knew how piosis he was 😭.

He is way worse when it comes to how he treats his victims then Armand who intentionally seeks out victims who r asking to die or Lestat who tries the vigilante approach. Louis kills innocents and he thinks it makes him better cuz he only does it sometimes and he feels really really bad about himself afterwards. As akasha said (paraphrased) he's the most predatory of them all.

To specify I love book Louis SOOOO much I love how shitty he is that's why it makes me sad when people mischaracterize him as sincere and get gen mad when ppl characterize him how he is in canon (a lying selfish bitch bless his heart). Like ik amc Louis at this point in canon is unambiguously in the right but he isn't like an accurate reflection of how he is in the books 😭 it's not like amc did what anne rice was trying to do more successfully, they just nulled what anne rice was doing in favor of a more likable protagonist. Which is fine, but like, there's no crime in preferring evil to the core horrible asshole Louis of the books.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

I think the common fandom perception of Armand as the crazy unhinged "omg I can't believe he actually did that in the books??" sadistic maniac villain guy is funny but not really accurate. Armand explicitly not only tries to avoid violence but dislikes it and finds it hard to comprehend why someone would seek out violence and conflict.

The reason he is always doing fucked up shit isn't out of a lestat-esc desire to cause chaos, it's bcus his highly strung ptsd brain has him convinced that the world is a battle ground and he must always be defending himself and acting out in violence.

Since acting out in violence is a reaction hes been taught throughout his life to be standard and necessary, as violence is something so normalized to him he considers it more of a tedious chore then a last resort measure, he usually reacts to conflict in ways that are objectively extreme to anyone who isn't thinking from his perspective. In qotd he even asks Daniel why men choose to fight in wars, explaining that he doesn't understand the draw of violence (bcus he's not a man) and he can't comprehend the supposed thrill of it.

Only to a degree, I think Lestat is hot and deserves the hype, but i also think he's hot in a different way then a chunk of the fandom does. Based on his book description he's kind of wonky looking, mouth too big for his face, vaguely unnerving shallow pale skin, starved 1700s peasant build but also kind of buff in the unhealthy "i dont eat regularly but I'm strong enough to carry a wolf for miles on my back" sense, weirdly small fucking feet. He def has creepy ass florescent blue doll eyes too. my point is I think when drooling over Lestat the fandom tends to forget this wonkiness in favor of blonde bombshell, Sam Reid chizzled jawline and abs, or conventionally beautiful anime twink, when they should be appreciating lestat in all his weird as shit glory.

Also I'm gonna say this- Freddy isn't possessed by Michael Afton in this. I don't mind Glammike, but I love the idea of Freddy just becoming a “deviant” I guess. Robots becoming human. They should totally make a game or something… wink wink.

I'm gonna just dig into the lyrics and breakdown my thought process for some of the frames… (I'm not doing every lyric, only some that stood out)

So, the meaning of “My Way” is based around self determination, that's the basic gist. I personally interpreted it as individualism, seeing how the lyrics have certain phrases based around it.

I had heard this song at the beginning of this year and immediately thought of Freddy. I also remember hearing the ai cover version at one point… (moving on)

And it was pretty obvious that most people agreed that this was his song.

Let's break it down >:]

And now, the end is near

And so I face the final curtain

I started the scene with Freddy walking on the third floor atrium, and I guess I took “I face the final curtain” literally since he's looking at the main stage lmao

My friend, I'll say it clear

Small side note, it's literally the most miniscule detail, but I felt like he was referring to Bonnie when he said “my friend” … It doesn't help that he's on the same floor as Bonnie Bowl.

I've lived a life that's full

Freddy reflecting about his “life” performing alongside his friends, I specifically added Chica because she's one of the remaining members of the original trio. :)

Regrets I've had a few

But then again, too few to mention

And saw it through without exemption

This verse was the best way to describe Freddy's situation. He had to not only escort this kid around the pizzaplex but he had to make sure Gregory wouldn't get hurt. He didn't want to hurt his friends but he couldn't let them hurt Gregory either. While it's shown that the other glamrocks were shattered, him saying he has regrets, I thought about whether or not he did the shattering himself or it was Gregory.

I mean, canonically, it was all Gregory's doing, Freddy was an accomplice… (sort of), but in the back of my mind, a messed up part of me wanted it to be Freddy's doing. Especially when we get to the confrontation scene. Honestly it can be interpreted both ways. I've read a fic where Freddy killed his friends… very gruesome but badass.

Anyways have a Freddy ear wiggle... cutest fucking thing ever.

Another one of those verses where I went fucking crazy and said “THAT'S HIM.”

So as it's seen in the animatic, Freddy is trying to keep Gregory safe. Gregory was originally going to be in his stomach hatch during this fight scene, but as I mentioned, Freddy wouldn't have wanted him to be in serious danger, so.. I changed it to him carrying Gregory.

“I'm sure you knew when I bit off more than I could chew” refers to Gregory being aware of how much he was in danger, and Freddy deciding to bite the bullet towards confronting his friends. Even if it meant someone was going to get hurt.

“When there was doubt, I ate it up and spit it out.” God, I loved drawing Freddy clenching his fists. The hesitancy before just accepting that he has to protect Gregory at all costs. Maybe I took some of the lyrics and made them slightly literal? Idk. Either way, this scene was powerful, especially when he and Monty clashed together.

“I stood tall” to me shows how Freddy was no longer going to let his soft persona get in the way. This part was just very fun to draw and put together… :3

I've loved, I've laughed and cried

I find it all so amusing

Once again Freddy is thinking about his friends and life, I found this part kind of hard? Originally I wanted him to be surrounded by his friends, and have it fade to just him standing alone, but I didn't like how it was drawn lol. I improvised and had it be a poster instead.

Also there's something heartbreaking about how he examines his plushie. “I find it all so amusing”, I interpreted that as him being melancholic about the situation, looking between the plushie and Gregory by the exit.

To think I did all that

And may I say, not in a shy way

Ah yes, Freddy setting the plushie on fire. I like to think he makes up his mind at that moment that none of this was worth it anymore. Once again, that interpretation of him being complacent to his friends being shattered kinda fits into this line a little, “I did all that”, as if he's surprised he had it in him to go that far to protect Gregory.

I did it my way

…self explanatory. Freddy said, “Yeah nah I'm done. Burn this bitch to the ground.”

I mean, that's basically the fire escape ending if I'm being honest. Mine's just funnier.

The record shows I took the blows

The final stretch. So this verse is pretty heavy, also I had to pace this correctly… I'm surprised I managed to fit the climax in.

“For what is a man” when I heard that line for the first time… fire no pun intended. It's also kinda ironic(?) Freddy says this, since he's an animatronic… but me personally, I saw it as an epiphany for him. He's acknowledging his own individualism, and that's all he has now. He made the decision to protect Gregory, to fight his friends, and now he's making the choice to burn everything down.

“To say the things he truly feels, and not the words of one who kneels” Good shit. He's not taking orders from anyone anymore, he's gone full deviant now.

And with the confrontation with Vanny, he makes the impulsive decision to take her out, going down with her. “I did it my way” the grand climax of the song, where he throws both of them off the building… lowkey my favorite part. I had fun using the tracking tool on the editing program to make them pan across the screen in slow mo…

But yeah, Freddy was gonna go down his own way- even if it was unnecessary.

The fall and the brief daze and fear in his eyes…

There's something about the acceptance in his eyes that makes my chest swell.

I'm surprised I haven't cried to this animatic yet.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who doesn't like this ending of SB… it's so weird and confusing. I laughed my ass off watching it due to how whacky it was… also I still believe that Vanessa on the roof was an apparition/ghost. Idk… it makes sense to me.

The fact that I made this ending have more impact makes it more satisfying. I know it was very indulgent but like… that was the point. I know Freddy's characterization in the game is pretty limited, outside of him being a goofball, but he had genuine moments where there was something else there (I'm looking at the true ending scene).

Listen, I headcanon Freddy as someone who's sweet and puts on his best face but has the entire company of FazEnt on his shoulders and all he can do is tolerate it because he was made to entertain. Having him not only have an existential crisis but an epiphany lets Freddy shine a little more.

I say the best part during the animatic process is looking at the lyrics and breaking them down for the story. It helps with pacing :)

I plan to do another fnaf animatic this weekend, so look forward to some wips… if I decide/remember to share

just about everyone of the original gang who's still alive is in therapy (so like Mike, Jeremy, Andrew, Sammy, and Evan, for example). understandable.

after everything was said and done, Mike and Sammy finally exposed William. Mike just kinda went "Oh it's the funniest thing haha so my dad called me on the phone and told me all of that and said he was dying well that sure is something, ain't it?" and. it certainly shook the town up, i'll say that!

Vanessa is actually the niece of one of William's '87 victims (specifically the Toy Bonnie kid).

Vanessa's last name is Warren. there's an interesting meaning behind that one, so if you figure out what it is, you get a sticker!!

Cameron (Mike and Jeremy's oldest son) has a bunny fursona. Mike is seriously wondering why so many people in his family is obsessed with rabbits and/or hares.

Cam is also the Gen 2 kid who knows the most about "past events."

Cameron, after hearing about his grandfather, really hoped that he'd never meet his ghost somehow, and Mike reassured him that it'd be unlikely. Apparently, However, Not Even Being Stuck In Actual Hell Will Stop William.

Mike and Sammy are so cagey about telling their kids anything because A) 2/3 of the kids are literally first graders, and B) there's basically no way they can talk about their childhoods without it pretty much being traumadumping.

Cameron's middle name is 'Liz' (Mike's way of remembering Elizabeth).

Cameron sometimes thinks about all the aunts and uncles he never got to meet, and it makes him sad.

Gregory got Cassidy's old room in the house, as well as his old toys.

Cassie literally looks like a younger version of Charlie. hairstyle and all.

since Sammy had dedicated his entire life to avenging Charlie's murder, he doesn't really know what to do with himself now. even Henry, the man who'd give him some form of direction for other things to do in between looking for evidence, is gone now. with the new restaurant open, as well as the fact he now has a daughter, he's got some things that he can work with.

Cassie is very much a Daddy's Girl :]

Charlie visits Cassie in her dreams, and occasionally in person. as a ghost, obviously.

Sammy got Cassie a smartwatch (that he fooled around with) that functions as an advanced version of the old security bracelets that his father had used in the original pizzeria. it's even green...a bright green, too.

Gregory had no idea who Cassidy was until the end of Security Breach.

when no one really showed up to Cassie's seventh birthday party (save for a few people in their class who thought she was cool), Gregory got a bit petty and threatened to not invite anyone to his own party, purely just to spite everyone. quite literally the only reason he didn't go through with it was because Cassie told him not to and that it was fine. he did make it clear that he was still upset about it when a lot of people showed up to his own party, mostly by saying something to the effect of "Oh, so you've got time for my super awesome sixth birthday party on a Tuesday, but apparently coming to Cassie's super awesome seventh birthday party on a Saturday was too much for you 😒 I see how it is. Uh huh."

like Cassidy, Greg also has partial/sectoral heterochromia in both of his eyes, though while Cassidy's heterochromia was green and greyish blue, Gregory has light brown and amber brown (close to what his canon eye color looks like). i'll draw a ref for him eventually.

Greg's hair looks like Cassidy's if it were brown and halfway down his neck.

1. I’ve read all of them! I’d say breaking wheel or find player two. Least favorite is hard since I didn’t really have any problems with one but I wasn’t really into in the flesh but I don’t think a lot of people are.

2. Not too fond of the graphic novels but I’d say twisted ones is my favorite.

3. William is a happy man, charming, intelligent, witty, he’s always been a very likable guy, some think he’s too friendly that it’s weird but most wave them off. Sadly behind the scenes his short temper shows, he lashes out at his children post his wife leaving him for being in an affair. He’s a true tea snob, has a dislike for nosy people, spends a lot of time drawing and always has new ideas to share.

4. Eh not crazy about it(I’m not crazy about a lot of ships honestly) and some of the people take it a little bit far in my opinion but all the fnaf ships are like that to an extent. It can be cute I think that it’s definitely a ship that’s gotten a canonical nod to it.

5. Gregory is a little more distrustful of women in my AU due to his mother’s influence, he hates Vanessa at first, then is terrified of her, then later he simply doesn’t care for her and it takes awhile for him to get comfortable with her and they become family of sorts. Yes Vanessa is Vanny in my AU she’s mentally ill and I love her :3

6. Yes! Cassie actually takes a role in the fic I have, she’s a social outcast but is desperate to make friends, her dad is the Bonnie mask bully(his name is Josiah), she’s without a mom and has spent most of her childhood in the PizzaPlex. She has a pitbull mix named Pebbles!

b: He reads by skimming and im not projecting at all (lying). he probably reread tonys story like five times before he caught how close he actually was. like at first it was a "oh yeah hes getting a little warmer" and glitch is like "dude he literally knows ur secret code thingy. ur stupid ggy thingy. READ THE STORY."

Dick Grayson’s Nightwing Suits (2/2) - Elseworlds/Multimedia Edition

Dick has appeared in quite a few Elseworlds (non-canon comic universes) and Multimedia projects. Most of the suits used in fantasy settings seem to take much of their inspiration from Dick’s early more flamboyant costumes. In recent years, he’s also worn jackets in two separate Elseworlds and one video game.

This isn’t a complete list of all Elseworld and Multimedia suits. A lot of Elseworlds suits are quite similar to the fingerstripes suit while cartoons have the habit of using a bird emblem.

Brothers of the Night Designed by: Michael William Kaluta (drawn by various) First Appearance: JLA: Riddle of the Beast (2001)

Riddle of the Beast is a fantasy adventure DC describes as their version of Lord of the Rings. The regalia and warrior suit Dick wears are clearly meant to draw parallels to Dick’s early suits with their focus on midnight blue and feather-esque stripes of gold.

Facets Designed by: Scott Lee First Appearance: New Titans Annual #10 (1994)

In their version in ‘Facets’ the New Titans rise in a magical world of sword and sorcery. Here too Dick’s warrior suit is largely inspired by the Mulletwing suit, which was his suit at the time. Even though the golden wings seem functional, they aren’t.

Unused Kingdom Come Suit Designed by: Alex Ross First Appearance: None

Dick Grayson appeared in Kingdom Come as the original Red Robin but, apparently, there were plans to make him Nightwing. The black suit has a dramatic cape and a beaked hood. A large golden bird emblem stretches over Dick’s chest. Alex Ross later repurposed the suit and used it for a Nightwing Chris Kent design.

Gotham City Garage Designed by: Aneke First Appearance: Gotham City Garage #4 (2018)

In Gotham City Garage, Nightwing doesn’t wear anything but a leather jacket with some clothes. A variation of his iconic symbol has instead been inked onto his chest. Because of his connection to Catwoman, the emblem is a cat. 

Batman: White Knight Designed by: Sean Murphy First Appearance: Batman: White Knight #1

Sean Murphy has designed a few different suits for Dick, but this is the one that truly features what a Nightwing suit needs. Apart from the jacket with emblem and suit combo, Murphy notably gives Dick a triangular mask. It also incorporates the bird emblem that The Next Batman Adventures popularized.

Futures End Designed by Sean Chen First Appearance: Batman Beyond (2016) #40 (2020)

Unlike most of Dick’s suits, the Futures End suit features a much narrower chevron. It is underlined by a kind of angular u-shape.

The Next Batman Adventures Designed by: Bruce Timm & others First Appearance: The New Batman Adventures S1 E2

The Next Batman Adventures marks Nightwing’s first appearance in a cartoon. This Nightwing suit is notable for its use of a chevron in the shape of a bird. This design element has since been incorporated into several other designs, including Nightwing Rebirth’s and Bruno Redondo’s suits for the comics.

Young Justice The Animated Series Designed by: Phil Bourassa (Lead Character Designer) & Various First Appearances: Young Justice S2 & S4

Unlike the comics, where Dick’s suits have gotten darker over time, in Young Justice Dick starts out with a small bird crest before changing to a suit with a large chevron and fingerstripes, though the blue is darker. The same trend can be observed in the DC Animated Movie Universe.

Harley Quinn the Animated Series Designed by: Shane Glines & Alex Wilson First Appearance: Harley Quinn S3 E2

The Harley Quinn Nightwing suit is much brighter and lighter with a large, light blue chevron and a blue-collar, but the most original aspect of this design is not the suit at all - Dick has brown skin, something which the Rom had previously only been drawn with for a brief time in the 2000s by Gregory Wright. This was quickly changed, as in Nightwing’s first appearance in the Harley Quinn tie-in comics he has pale skin.

HBO Titans Designed by: Laura Jean Shannon & Joyce Schure First Appearance: Titans S2 E13

The Titans suit is currently the only live-action version of the Nightwing suit. Though Dick Grayson has been featured in several live-action movies and shows, he is almost always Robin, not Nightwing. No other character has held Nightwing in a live-action adaptation.

Gotham Knights Designed by: Laura Jean Shannon & Joyce Schure First Appearance: Gotham Knights (2022)

Dick’s latest video game suit incorporates him wearing a jacket as well. While the Arkham Games gave him the neutral chevron, Gotham Knights is using the more modern bird head in combination with it.

Let's talk about Burntrap for a sec. We know Burntrap could be a pigment of Gregory's imagination thanks to the comic illustrations we find through out Ruin. But, in the same comic illustrations, the blob is there. The blob can't be a part of Gregory's imagination as in Ruin, if you slowly walk down the stairs near the beginning of the DLC, we'll see the blob. So what exactly happened to Burntrap? Even if he is William Afton, there's no way you're going to deny that if the blob is there, that Burntrap must be there too, but we never hear, see, or get a mention of him. And there's no way to confirm that the Burntrap ending is canon because of those same comic illustrations, because, if the blob was there, it would also be destroyed. But there is some evidence to indicate that maybe Gregory knows of the blob. So we know about the concrete wall that is blocking the mimic from exiting right? Well, right outside of the mimic's room, we see a backpack and thanks to hacks, we can confidently say that it's Gregory's backpack meaning that he was down there. That explains how the mimic could copy Gregory's voice thanks to the walkie-talkie. We also hear how he mentions a friend. I believe that friend is Vanessa because she would most definitely be aware of Burntrap and the blob. It's possible that Vanessa could explain several things to Gregory for obvious reasons. That could explain his drawing. But it's still never explains what ever happened to Burntrap.

Well, Gregory drew the Blob about to yoink Burntrap and Ruin made a pretty big point about the Blob escaping, so my guess is Burntrap got yoinked and escaped in the Blob.

I’ve noticed recently that I’ve been trying very hard to get all these projects done, but I just cant seem to get past this writers/artist block.. Ingo and Emmet part 3, my FNAF AU, the Rosalina comic.. all of it has just felt really draining. I think its because I’m turning these projects into work, instead of a fun hobby.

I actually was working on the Petey Piranha comic last night, but I just couldn’t get past the sketching stage. So I took a break to draw what ever I wanted and.. I had a lot of fun.

I think I’ve overwhelmed myself thinking I have to do all these projects and get them done quickly for.. what ever reason. And its made art really draining.

I think I’m gonna take all of my projects (aside from my FNAF AU) and just. Put them on the shelf for now. I’ll draw them if I ever feel like it.

I had planned that he could eat a fire flower and spit out a fire ball, but I later took away that ability. Yoshi ain’t got no fire powers :(

They do exist, and Bowser does care about them.. but he doesn't show it as much as he does in canon. He’s a lot more stern and ruler like. A lot less touchy feely you know?

The idea is that the 1-UP mushroom has fully left Mario’s body. So any effects or pain he experiences all lies in his trauma related to the incident.

Now, if Luigi were to die and be revived by a 1-UP? It would be the same. If the experience was traumatic and he suffered a horrible injury, he would probably deal with phantom pains too..

For most of them I just referenced clothing that relates to the attraction/style they have in the game.

For Chica I looked up kids rock star costumes and took reference of what I thought looked good. For Bonnie I looked up old vintage bowling ally shirts and referenced the one that looked closest to his canon shirt. For Foxy I referenced pirate coats and costumes. For Monty I looked up old golfing outfits and picked out aspects that I liked and mixed it with punk/rock and roll. For Roxanne I referenced punk rock I think..? And old racing fire suits.

For Freddy though I mostly made it up.. but I looked at a bunch of different artists that made redesigns for Freddy and tried to capture the vibe of the ones I liked. Mostly the collar on his coat was something a lot of those artists drew-

For Gregory I just gave him a new outfit based on the story. When he went back to the Pizzaplex his clothes were dirty and worn.. so Freddy went and got him new clothes from one of the gift shops. So I went to google and referenced the sweaters and clothes you find throughout the game and gave him stuff that looked similar. Hope this helped! :}

When I was designing my sona, I wanted something on my hands. At the time my hands were covered in Band-Aids due to cat scratched and dry/cracked skin. So I thought hey! I could have bandaged hands! So I added them.

Oh he’s in the AU, he’s probably one of the smaller gorilla types that just kind’a vibes and does old man stuff. He probably has to eat the sweeter fruits though because his jaw isn’t so strong anymore. Much to his dismay.. 

She didn’t cause any problems per say, the Toads didn’t even know she existed. Although she does create these shooting stars every time she comes to the planet.. but that doesn’t bother the Toads either, In fact they celebrate them. So the toads have no issue with Rosalina.

Also she apologized to Mario and Luigi for “disturbing” them because they heard her crying and they went to investigate. :(

The reason why Mario experiences phantom pain is because his first death was very traumatic for him. So whether or not he experiences phantom pains with his future deaths all depends on how he died, and how it effected him mentally.

Same goes for Luigi. If he dies a horribly painful/traumatic death.. he’ll likely experience phantom pains too..

There was a comic planned for how they met him actually.

They got lost in the woods and stumbled upon King Boos mansion. Like an idiot Mario goes in and Luigi follows. They both ended up getting tormented and pranked by the Boos. They were separated at one point but then met back up on the second floor. Mario sees a fire flower in an old flower pot and grabs it.

As soon as he becomes fire Mario.. the entire mansion goes completely silent..

Then, all the windows and doors slowly shut. Some of the lights come on and Mario and Luigi follow them. They follow the lights down the hall, down the stairs, through the main room and wind up led to the front door..

The front door is wide open. Mario and Luigi walk out.. only for the door to slam shut behind them. Locking them out.

Mario harnessing a fire flower was so bizarre, so impossible! That King Boo knew he was outmatched against him. So King Boo just silently let them out of the mansion without a fuss.

I’m not sure how they would react to the Koopalings, but I imagine they wouldn't hurt them. It doesn’t take a genius to tell that the Koopalings are just kids..

As for their behaviors.. I think its close to the canon interpretations, except for Ludwig and JR. I had planned that Ludwig was going to be much bigger and more stern like his pa. Because he is the heir to the throne.. but then google told me that Roy is the oldest so there goes that plan-

For JR though his plans stick. JR is supposed to be smaller and younger. More like a toddler then a kid. He’s the youngest and the one Bowser is most protective of.

As for Monty.. I liked the idea of Gregory hiding for some reason.. and he calls for Freddy through his fazwatch in a panic. After a few minutes he hears big thumping plasticky foot steps approaching. He comes out of hiding thinking its Freddy..

If Bowser had gone straight for Luigi, first of all he would have to land a fatal blow twice. Because the power of the Ice Flower would Protect Luigi from one big hit. That’s actually why Mario died in one shot. Because the Fire Flower had just run our of power.

But anyway- after loosing the ice flower and getting hit? Luigi would just die.. and stay dead. Only Mario had consumed a 1-UP mushroom at that point..

I imagined them as these strange monsters that live in the woods. They don’t work for Bowser, or Peach, they just do their own thing. I also imagined them to deal with dark magic and rituals and stuff. 

Wanna hear how Mario and Luigi first met one?

The plan was that the bros and Yoshi were exploring when they found a shy guy with its leg caught in a tree root. Mario carefully approached to try and help.. but the closer he got. The longer and more deformed the shy guy became.

Yoshi ended up snatching them both up and running away. Mario mysteriously had a fever that lasted for a few days after that..

If the Monkeys were to eat the red beets they would gain more muscle mass overtime. But its not a matter of them not being able to eat them, they just don’t like them.

The blue fruits are very sweet and juicy, and the beets are dry and bitter. The kongs that like bitter flavors eat the beets and grow to be huge. and overtime they develop a dislike for sweet tastes. And vice versa.

Heyo guys! Here are my designs (day & night) of Sun and Moon!

I had this AU in my head: the pizzeria's birthday is the day of its inauguration and so great re-opening. Refurbished, everything is fine again; there are no more disappearances, the pizzeria is very successful, there are no more glitch/virus, etc. Bye bye villains (and the human characters (Vanessa, Gregory, etc) are somewhere too but not in the pizzeria. I haven't really study the subject. 😅))

In the renovations, Sun and Moon are part of it! The daycare attendants each have their "body", their personality. When they first saw each other, it was a touching moment; they fell into each other's arms, Sun was crying, shouted and jumped of joy. Even though Moon is more reserved by nature, he had such a big smile that it said a lot about his state of mind, not to mention his moist eyes. They were always together, we never saw one without the other.

I wanted to stay as "canon" as possible while bringing my version of them.

So: ► For their pants, slippers and Moon's hat, I used sunrise/sunset colors, respectively Sun and Moon. I like to imagine that when they meet new people (kids, parents/adults) they introduce themselves as: 《I'm Moon's sunrise; Sun!》 《I'm Sun's sunset; Moon.》

► Sun and Moon have more "lively" features: colored eyes and pupils (like other animatronics), they can open their mouths and have more facial expressions. With those modifications, they look more friendly at first sight, especially Moon (my mum who doesn't know the characters was curious to know what I was drawing and when I showed her his original version she found him scary. 😭)

► Their eyes have complementary colors: Sun has blue-green eyes and Moon's orange-red.

► Their bells have "crescent moon" colors as well as their frills + shape and all of those accessories have a particularity at night~:

• They glow! Yes, they are fluorescent. Even if Sun and Moon would be separated, they would be together day and night to take care of children so, it's important that they have points in common. Thanks to this, children who wake up at night for any reason could find them without having to call them (and potentially disturb other children), serve as a nightlight, even as a little glow for kids who are afraid of the dark.

► Sun and Moon have white and black pupils respectively. I like this "Yin and Yang" effect but there's more:

• Moon, being a night patrolbot, the fact that he has black pupils he would be used to the dark and could watch surroundings without having to light up his eyes (and potentially being spotted if there is an intruder). He can always do it if necessary. Althought Moon's frills and bells are fluorescent, they are dim compared to if he were lighting up with his eyes so there is no risk an intruder spots him. Anyway, Moon is difficult to flush out; he is very good at hiding and tracking his prey down.

• Sun, as for him, has his white because he remains a daytime animatronic despite everything; he can see in the dark but not as well as Moon without lighting! He can see what surrounds him more brightly and it is impossible to dazzle him.

► With the virus/glitch mostly gone, Moon still has "aftereffects": he lights up red from time to time without wanting to and scared some of the children (especially the new ones, the old ones are aware of what happened and are very supporting) when they woke up during/after naptime, even before. Unable to completely remove this functionality, it has been modified so that it is used during an alert/danger.

• Sun, not being particularly confronted with danger, staying in the daycare at night, he wanted this feature also to on one hand support his counterpart but on the other hand because he dealt with violent/abusive parents/adults so this feature is quite a deterrent. In general, when Sun and Moon come to light up red, it calms things down (especially coming from Sun).

{There you go, I guess I've done the trick. I take this opportunity to warn you that I will draw my comic again so the next drawings I may do of Sun and Moon will mainly be sketches. I will finalize them when I'll have time. 😁}

I love ur mystery squad AU!

I just wanted to say and ask some things. So I notice ur Mabel has heterochromia and some of ur drawings of Dipper have heterochromia too (I think), and God if they both had heterochromia in some form, that would be awesome! 1. Because heterochromia is cool and 2. I love when twins (like some eye head canons for the disaster twins Leo and Donnie from ROTTMNT do this and I love it) have heterochromia (even more esp. matching colors. And/or matching colors in different eyes).

Alright, another thing I gotta say is Dipper getting shorter and shorter is so funny, hahaha. Dipper may be short, but he is feral/will bite lol. Also, taller Mabel and her picking Dipper up is so cute.

Lol, at Dipper and I think it was Wybie (I am blanking on it and I legit just looked at that picture) getting into trouble and Wirt trying to keep them out of it and Morty is just along for the ride is top tier dynamic.

Morty and Wirt each other so much is so funny to me.

And Wybie and Dipper being quick friends is nice.

Dipper and Coraline just being mean and sarcastic and adventurous and stuff with each other gives me life.

Dipper and Wirt just being cute together is nice. Also, lol at Dipper having a conspiracy board about Wirt not being human because he would (and he is right now).

Hmmm, I wonder what Morty and Dipper’s dynamics are and/or opinions of each other are?

Also, I feel like Mabel and Wirt’s brother, Gregory would get along.

Morty and Dipper are best friends! They tease each other a lot, them insulting each other sound like compliments at times (y’know, normal friend stuff)

And they like each other. Basically there’s a point where Wybie, Morty and Wirt all like Dipper.

Morty and Wybie don’t mind each other, since they’ve been best friends (and see each other as brothers) since they were 14. Morty hates Wirt because he thinks Wirt is snobby and pretentious, him liking Dipper just snaps off the thread.

Wybie kinda acts as a mediator between Wirt and Morty, heh.

Even without the twins we were gonna face people complaining about Madeline having a crush on her father figure and people would not like Zelestia/Gregory nor Zephia/Griss because she is a mother figure for them ....

They'll probably get a pass because the original versions are villains, and DLC characters are never as popular in fandom. As @theeeveetamer points out, none of this may even amount to anything because of that second point + how relatively tame the Engage shipping landscape is.

All useless ship debate asides, I wonder if the twins can interact with Past Alear. After all, in their parallel world, there were almost everyone even if their relationship changed for some reasons... so maybe they existed in our world too but in that moment what kind of relationship ?

I wouldn't know. I'm sure someone will upload those conversations on YouTube if they exist though.

I am genuinely confused. How do people understand that Alear is the brother/sister of the twins ? They are in canon only half siblings with Veyle while Nel and Rafal are half siblings to each other but they are not related to the others dragons.

Got my hands on the JPN dub, and Raval sais to Sombron "even though we are from different realms/even though he and you are different beings, you can say that we share a bloodline". Well, that settles it. Make of this what you want

If anyone wonders why the twins support were not censored, turns out it is. The localization did more than buy the "they are from another world" excuse, it literally pushed it. In the jpn version, when facing Sombron, the twins calls him father, Rafal says something like "even though we are from different world, you could say we share a blood line/the same blood". In her supports with Veyle, Nel doesn't say that "her Sombron is not Veyle's papa" but simply that she did not had another sibling than Rafal for a while (the line was added by the localization) thought to be fair "kyodai" in JPN can also mean "friend, mate" and that's how Claude calls Byleth in the Jpn vers. In their pact ring support with Alear, Rafal literlay says " you are the same as me, my father... no, I was surprised to learn that you are a being with the blood of a fell dragon" meanwhile Nel says "you are the same as me, who draws the blood of the fell dragon [...] we are from different world, but I am proud that I have the same blood flowing to me as you" while keeping in mind that both are romantic though in Nel explictely say "I love you". Moral of the story : the localization went as hard as possible as to clear any ambuiguity that was generated by the original version meanwhile in the original version dragons are ok with same bloodline mixes.

Okay, so we all know in the canon verse Freddy gets Gregory, I had a thought the other day. What if it was a multiverse? What if each 'verse was different like in one it started with Chica, Roxy, and Monty but as the years go by Roxy and Monty get replaced by Bonnie and Freddy? What if Roxy, Foxy, and Bonnie were the first ones and Roxy is the only OG remaining and she's the one with the malfunction? What if her "Gregory" is a little girl with big hair and an even bigger heart? What if she's just scared and not hiding from Vanessa? What if, in a different verse, it was Monty and his "Gregory" was a shy little girl who got separated from her big sister (Officer Vanessa) and she doesn't want to get got by Vanny?

Chapter 10

I know it's been literally fourteen months since chapter nine but I promise this is a big chapter (compared to like chapters one and two (this is like 2687 words)).

Anywho, I hope you enjoy the chapter and enjoy the return to Gotham.

Jerome looked at his nephew and nieces and frowned. “How long has she been in the city? Has anyone else seen her? Has her father?”

Jason shrugged, adjusting Damian in his lap as he tried to figure out how to phrase it. “She’s been sighted in Pam’s garden, Oswald’s lounge, and with Jon and Ed. I’m not sure the exact time she’s been in the city but a couple of days, probably. I’m hoping he hasn’t.”

Damian returned his attention to his dad’s face and pouted. “What’s so bad about her father?”

Jerome looked at Damian and thought for a moment. “Has your dad told you about the Mad Hatter?”

Damian shook his head and frowned, “I don’t think so.”

Jerome took in the information and looked at the other three people at the table with him. “Okay, so, you know how your mom doesn’t always do things that are nice? Or, how about her Ma?” Jerome nodded toward Cass and waited for Damian to turn to look at her. “You know how she doesn’t always do nice things, or how she’s mean to people?” Jerome watched as Damian nodded, not understanding the relevance. “Well, your Aunt Thana’s father is really mean. He hurts people. Like the guy who hurt your dad, he hurts people like that.”

“Okay, Kutlat Saghira, you know how some people hunt animals for food and other people hunt animals for sport?” Damian brightened and nodded, drawing a small smile from Jason, “he’s like the people who hunt animals for sport.”

Damian scrunched up his nose in disgust. “I’ll get rid of him so Auntie Tea can come home.”

Jason bustled around the kitchen as Damian watched Blue’s Clues in the living room. He didn’t know what to do with the information he’d received at the meeting with Jerome. He certainly never would have guessed that his son would threaten to kill someone.

Tim perched on the counter watching his older brother. “What’re you doing?”

“Thinking. ‘ve always thought best when I was in the kitchen with Alfred.” Jason huffed and pulled out everything he would need to make yorkshire pudding. “Do you want to help make the puddings?”

Tim slid off the counter and nodded. “What do I need to do?”

Jason and Tim listened to Elton John’s discography while they worked side by side making two batches of Yorkshire pudding batter. Jason smiled at his little brother as he copied him, stirring together and adding ingredients in sync. Jason nodded and pulled his spoon from the bowl, gently tapping it on the side to remove the excess batter, before putting the spoon down and turning to Tim.

“Now, the secret to these puddings is you chill the batter before you preheat the oven. So, we’re just going to stash these in the refrigerator for the next half an hour to an hour.” Jason led the way to the fridge, holding the door open so Tim could get his in before Jason’s bowl joined it. “I’m Still Standing” played throughout the apartment, causing Stephanie to groan.

“Why’re we listening to the most boring music ever?”

“If you don’t like it, you can watch Blue’s Clues with Damian.” Jason was surprised that Duke was the one who responded. “Elton John is a gift.”

Tim snickered at Jason’s side and shook his head.

Kate Kane looked at her cousin’s children and sighed. “Why are none of you at home?”

Jason rolled his eyes as he continued to push Damian on the swing while his siblings were spread out around the park. “The B-Man said some not very nice things about certain individuals of whom I care very deeply and I walked out. Most of them were at the press conference when B said those things, three of them felt personally attacked by what he said.”

“So, Bruce is just like the rest of the family, got it.” Kate turned and leaned against the leg of the swing set. “So, homophobia? That the thing?”

“No, uh, being the child of a rogue. Which rules out Dami, Cass and Steph, and, uh, this girl I used to know.”

“Okay, cool. So, when do I get to see the new pad?” Kate smiled at Jason and wondered how things got to this point in their relationship because when they met he couldn’t stand her.

“Uh, I’m having a family night tonight, Alfred’ll be there as well as Lina.” Jason smiled as Damian pouted. “I know bud. I know. I’ll keep pushing. I’m sorry I stopped.”

“Do you mind if I bring a friend?” Kate asked while looking around the park for all of the other Bat Kids “also, where’s Barbara?”

Safety Found in Red Sleeves Shorts

Her Little Glowstick

This is a short about Thana and Duke (featuring Uncle Ozzy because he just kind of snuck his way in there). I hope you enjoy this.

Thana was being followed, which wasn’t unusual in a city like Gotham, but the person doing the following seemed too small to be on his own. She led him through a series of back alleys and tunnels which would lead them to one of her hidey-holes. She knew that he would be able to fit through all of the tight spaces, unlike Jay-Jay.

She glanced over her shoulder and recognized the bright safety yellow hoodie he wore. “Hello, Little Glowstick. What’re you doing out so late?” She refocused on the ground in front of her and slowed down to let him catch up.

“Could ask you the same thing.” He reached out and grabbed the hem of her hoodie. “‘Sides, it’s not like anyone’ll miss me. Ma and Pa are running errands and none of the rest of the adults’re really all that keen on havin’ me ‘round.”

“Well, you can stay with me for a while. I don’t mind.”

Thana draped a red hoodie over top of Duke’s ridiculously bright hoodie and ushered him into the Iceberg Lounge. “Uncle Ozzy!”

“Oh, my little Chick. You get bigger every day, maybe someday you’ll be as big as me.” Oswald smiled at Thana and glanced behind her at the boy whose hand seemed to have a vice-like grip on her hoodie. “And you must be this new boy she’s been spotted with. Oswald Cobblepot, most people call me Oswald.”

“Duke, uh, Duke Thomas. She calls me Little Glowstick.”

“Uncle Ozzy, play nice. Where’re Pere and Gale?” Thana searched every face she could see for her uncle's righthand women.

“They’re out right now, on a liquor run. Should be back soon. Why don’t I take you both on back to the VIP area?”

Thana seemed to brighten at the idea. “Is Aunt Lina back from her trip?”

“Selina is in fact. She’s back there with Edward and Jonathan now.”

“C’mon Little Glowstick.” Thana reached back, grabbed Duke’s hand, and started pulling him back to the VIP area. “You’ve gotta meet Aunt Lina, Uncle Jon, and Uncle Ed.”

Oswald chuckled as Thana dragged the boy through the club, bobbing and weaving around the patrons. He knew he’d do anything for his niece, even if all he could do was provide a safe place for her to retreat to when she needs to get away from things.

Duke dropped in on Thana often, nearly every day for weeks. The duo was seen in the Iceberg Lounge every few days, occasionally they were at Pam’s garden, but mostly they were just seen around the city. They grew close and most nights would find Duke tucked against Thana’s side as she whispered old stories to him.

His favorites were always the ones about her and Jason, and how their meeting wasn’t the best.

Duke burst through the doors of the Iceberg Lounge, one of Thana’s red sweaters pulled over the top of his obnoxiously bright yellow hoodie, and fell into Oswald’s arms. “She’s gone.” Duke’s voice cracked and his eyes filled with tears.

“Who’s gone?” Oswald whispered and he stroked Duke’s back. “Peri, Gale, can you watch over this lot while I go to my office?” He received a single nod and turned away from the masses.

Duke buried his face in Oswald’s chest and sobbed his heart out. The last month had been hard on him, first losing his parents to the Joker and his Joker Gas, and now this. He felt like his whole world was crashing down around him.

“Hey, Kingfisher,” Oswald knelt down to Duke’s level and wiped his tears away, “can you tell me what’s wrong? Who’s gone?”

The tears returned and he crumbled to his knees. “Thana, she’s, they, the fuzz, they, she’s gone. The fuzz got her.”

Oswald held Duke close, promising that he’d look after Thana’s Little Glowstick in her absence. “Hey, Kingfisher, calm down. It’ll be okay. You’ll be okay. I’ll still let you in here in your yellow.”

Duke grinned a little at that. “Thought red was the only colour you let kids in wearing.”

“You’re not kids, you’re Kingfisher, you’re my Chick’s chick.” Oswald brushed away the tears on Duke’s cheeks and offered him a smile. “That makes you my nephew, and family is always welcome in my club.”
