Suguru Geto x Black Fem Reader

Summary: Lately you have been struggling with your natural hair and Suguru sees it. He wants to encourage you and love on you to make you feel better. One day, he takes it upon himself to learn more about your hair and surprise you.

A/N: Here is some Suguru fluff! I have natural curly hair (For about 10 years now) and it can be such a pain, but I love it. The journey is wild! So, what I wrote is what I be feeling, and I wanted to put it in writing. I can definitely see Suguru being your supportive, significant other comforting you. A while back, my friend @hayakawalove and I were discussing how Suguru would be a stylist or him wanting to help reader do their hair and I said, "Yeah, I gotta write this." It was such a fun conversation. Shoutout to her! Go check out their works, especially if you love Gojo and Suguru! 🤭

“Ugh, stupid hair. Why can’t you do what I want you to do?” You toss the paddle brush onto the counter in front of you out of mere frustration. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you shake your head not knowing to either scold your hair or yourself.

You have been at it for about twenty minutes trying your best to style your hair, but it just wasn’t working out. Your arms were getting tired, and you were feeling hot since you have been working up a storm. Sometimes you wish that you could just cut it all off and not deal with this anymore, but you know that you could never do that, your future self would never forgive you. You’ve come so far in growing out your hair. Obviously, it wasn’t an easy journey, but still, it would be nice if it could take care of itself.

With a scoff you shake your head.

“Fine, bun it is!”

As you start to apply gel in your hair to start the process, the bathroom door opens and you see Suguru coming in from your right. You stop when you see him in nothing but his shorts, wow,  suddenly you feel a tad bit better. His long jet black hair sways over his shoulders, a bit messy. He must’ve woken up from the nap you both just had.

You just happened to wake up first.

He sees your frustrated face.

“Hey, baby. Are you okay?” Suguru walks further in the bathroom, now standing behind you. He wraps his toned arms around your waist and  bends down to place his chin on your shoulder. His eyes gleam in the light as he gazes at your reflection. You feel yourself start to calm down some more, his presence is always so calming. Not only that, but he definitely looks too good right now.

A small smile spreads on your lips.

“Uh, no. I’m not,” you pause, crossing your arms, “but I’m better now that you are here.”

Suguru sees your pout, he always finds it cute. Doesn’t matter what situation it was, it was always adorable.

“You’re frustrated with your hair again, I see.” He presses his soft lips on your cheek.

“Yes, I am. I am this close to just shaving it off! It pisses me off so much.”

“Mmm...” He stands up straight and starts to slide his hands up and down on your sides as you finish up tying your hair.

It’s so easy to get in your head about all of this. Your thoughts go from loving your hair to being fed up with it. You feel yourself envying other women with “better” curl patterns. Sometimes you feel like their natural hair is even prettier than yours. Of course, everyone’s hair is different and you shouldn’t compare your hair like that.

Not only do you think about that, but also it’s such a struggle to find the right products, trying new techniques, and trying your best to be grateful for what you have...but it can be overwhelming.

Suguru has seen all the ups and downs, sometimes he has even seen you cry out of anger or out of frustration. He always made an effort to make you feel better.

Once you are done, Suguru gives you room to start cleaning up the counter that was covered in your hair products.

“Is there anything I can do for you?” Suguru's eyebrows furrow.

You stop yourself in your tracks and turn around to look at him.

“Can you help me grow another pair of arms?” You ask.

Suguru ponders for a few moments, not knowing what to say to that. You chuckle and grab his hands.

“Just kidding, no. I’ll be fine.” Your smile drops as you look away disappointedly. He feels you squeeze his hands, before you continue to make your way around the bathroom.

Suguru ponders for a moment, trying to think of how to cheer you up. He always wondered what he could do for you, he would give you the world if you asked him to.Then an idea comes to mind. 

“Wait. Stop.” He makes his way towards you and lays his hands on your shoulders, his touch warming you. He spins you around.

“How about we eat your favorite takeout and watch a movie, hm?” Suguru kisses your forehead. 

The sound of that immediately cheers you up at his suggestion.

“Ugh, yes. That sounds wonderful actually.” You wrap your arms around his neck and hug him, kissing his cheek.

“Perfect. I’ll order it, then.” Suguru wraps his arms around you and gives you a squeeze. “Now, go relax in the living room, I’ll finish up here. When I’m done, I’ll pour you some wine, okay?”

“Ahh, wine. Okay, I will. Thank you, baby.” You lean in to kiss his lips and he holds you by the waist, pulling you in. Suguru pulls back and gives you a genuine smile.

“You’re welcome, sweetheart.”

Suguru finds himself sitting on the couch, scrolling on his phone while you are out and about with some friends. As of late, Suguru has been doing a lot of thinking. He keeps reminiscing about what you said in the bathroom the other day...

“Can you help me grow another pair of arms?”

Suguru keeps repeating that question in his head. What if you did have an extra pair? 

That sparks something in his brain. 

He opens a browser on his phone and taps away in the search bar. His eyes light up when he sees links and images of your type of hair. He is amazed by the many styles he sees. Natural curls, braids, locs, all sorts of things. His eyes roam all over the screen as he clicks and clicks away.

It’s so interesting, he is fascinated by all of this. A link to a video catches his eye. It read, “Natural Hair Tutorial”.

He rolls his tongue on the inside of his cheek and clicks on the video, bringing him to YouTube.

The sounds of notifications from your phone wakes you from your sleep. Prying your eyes open, you stretch your arms above your head while stretching your legs out, feeling the release of tension from your muscles. Your muscles relax, as your mind clears up until you remember what day it is.

Wash day. Time to tame the beast.

As you groan at the reminder, you take a few moments to yourself to wake up. Eventually you  reach over to grab your phone from the charger that was on your nightstand.

10:13am.

Not bad, at least it’s your day off anyway. Hence why you planned this in advance. 

You beam seeing good morning texts from Suguru which makes your heart melt. It looks like he went to get a few things done this morning and should be back soon. You text him back and sit up from your bed and stare at your bathroom that’s across the room.

“I guess I should get a head start,” you mumble to yourself.

Then you feel your stomach growl. Right. Food. You’re going to need energy for the next handful of hours.

“Perhaps a quick meal will suffice,” you sigh.

Suguru comes back to the apartment with his hands full of bags, humming to himself. He sets the bags on the counter and takes a deep breath. Taking in his surroundings, he notes that you are nowhere in sight, until he hears music coming from the bathroom. He had an idea what you are up to.

Suguru takes his hair tie off his right wrist and ties it up in a bun, letting some strands hang next to his ears before he starts to unload the bags. Luckily, it’s only a few things to pack away. After he is done, he walks towards the bedroom, hearing the music boom louder and louder as he draws near the bathroom. He knocks on the door and waits for your reply.

You are jamming out to your music as you finish the last part of the section you are working. You hear a faint knock and lower the volume on your phone. Drying off your hands on the towel near you, you open the door seeing Suguru standing there, looking as handsome as ever. He wears black sweats and a dark green sleeveless shirt.

He stands there holding up your favorite drink from the local coffee shop down the road and a bag with their logo on it, already smelling your favorite sandwich that makes your mouth water.

“Aww, baby. Thank you so much.” You step forward giving him a kiss on the lips. He hands over your drink and sandwich smiling at you as he looks you over. 

You’re wearing your favorite robe with comfy slippers; it’s always nice to be as comfortable as possible during days like this one. Hair products are spread out on the counter with a mixture of combs, brushes, clips...all the things. The air smells sweet, like coconut.

“Working hard I see,” he says as he admires your work. Noting the two sections you have already finished, twisted and clipped out of the way.

“Yeah, I already want to take a break, but I need to keep going. I’ll be done eventually.” You take a sip of your drink and lean on the counter. You hum at the taste as soon as it hits your tastebuds. It’s nice to take a small breather before you continue your work. 

Suguru nods and thinks back on the videos he has been watching for the past two days. He takes a few moments before speaking.

“I want to help,” he says.

Did you hear him right?

You look at him in surprise.

“You want to help me? That’s so sweet of you, hun. I can explain and guide you on what to do.” Excitedly, you set your drink down and take the next section of your hair and take it down.

He sees the excited look on your face. That smile of yours always makes his day better, especially when he’s the one to make you do that.

“So, from what I learned is that you take your comb and start at the ends and work your way up. It’s important to treat it delicately, especially if there is a matted part as well. It’s also important to split your hair in sections as well to make it easier and to detangle thoroughly. Like a part within parts. That’s why it is always best to detangle while your hair is still wet with conditioner in it, correct?” 

He reaches to touch your hair, examining your curls, tracing the patterns with his fingers as he adds a few more details.

His eyes blink over to the shocked expression on your face in the reflection.. You have told him about how you do your hair, but never that detailed. Just the basics. How the heck did he know this?

“Are you okay there, sweetie?” He chuckles.

“How...when did you–”

“I have been doing some research the past few days. I see how much you struggle with your hair, and it pains me to see you frustrated with it. I wanted to do this because I care and I want to see you happy. Your hair is one of my favorite parts about you.” He leans closer to you and reaches for your chin. He turns your face around so you are staring him directly in the eyes.

“Everything about you, is what I love. From the inside out. You are the most precious thing in the world to me, and if I can make your life just a little bit easier, then I can leave this world knowing that I at least did something to contribute to your life. I know you can get stressed out at times.” 

He pauses.

Your heart starts to swell, your emotions are taking over, eyes watering. 

“Stressed about life...about work...about the way you look, but sweetheart,” he comes closer to your face.

“You are the most stunning, and amazing woman of strength that I know. Your beauty captivates me.” His other hand reaches for your curls and he wraps a strand around his finger.

“You see this? This gorgeous hair of yours is what makes you unique, it makes you, you. Give yourself grace, baby. You are doing a wonderful job. Okay?” 

Tears sting your eyes as they stream down your face. Your lips are quivering at the words he spoke to you. It hits you right in your heart. One of the things you loved most about him was his encouraging heartfelt words. It was what you needed to hear. That reassurance, the love behind them...you couldn’t have asked for a better man.

“I...” you sniffle, “I don’t know what to say.”

He shakes his head. His thumb goes to wipe the tear from your eye.

“You don’t need to say anything.”

A smile spreads across your face as you lean your head against his warm hand. Your eyes meet his, you couldn’t help but melt in his touch.

“I love you,” he says.

“I love you too.” 

Both of you draw closer to each other for a sweet genuine kiss. After you two separate, he pulls you into a hug and kisses the side of your head. 

“Thank you. I needed to hear that. You always know what to say.” You pull back to look at him. “And thank you for doing that for me. Looking up on how to work with my hair. I am so glad you want to learn.” 

“Of course sweetheart. I’d do anything for you.” 

Drying your eyes, you inhale and release your breath before picking up your wide tooth comb.

“I’ll show you how I do it,” you smirk.

You show him how you start to detangle one part of your hair and tell him each step. He was amazed watching you. He has watched you before, but not like this. Usually, when you wash your hair, he isn’t home to see how it’s done, so he is grateful he gets this chance to observe you closely. 

Once you show him a couple more times, he takes the initiative to try it out on his own. You watch him as he focuses on your hair in the reflection while you take this opportunity to eat your sandwich. It is quite nice to have your hair done by someone else.

His tongue pokes out a little as he attempts the process.

So cute. It’s pretty funny to see him furrow his brows at some points.

“I can see why you want to scream most of the time.”

You burst out laughing and take a sip of your drink.

“I know. Now you get it.” 

“Still beautiful though.” He winks at you.

You feel your cheeks heat up at his compliment.

He literally is the best man ever.

A healthy “fuck you” to that Anon making fun of PTSD and trauma. Not to rant but Ghost is an extremely comforting character to me, and seeing someone laugh at a very real depiction of how PTSD manifests shows that we still have a long way to go with mental health and awareness. There is a difference between dark humor and being so deeply disturbed that killing and slaughter is funny to you. I’m still learning how to cope and acknowledge my mental health without shoving it down, much like Ghost.

Anyways, love your story and I’m super excited to read the next chapter! Quick question, and if you’ve answered it I’m very sorry, but what is the pack’s opinions on halloween and would they dress up with reader?

Yeah, mental health acceptance and understanding has made leaps and bounds compared to what it used to be, but there's still a long way to go. I've gotten a few responses/asks/comments where I just knew there was a wild misinterpretation of the story due to a lack of understanding of mental health. It plays a vital role in not just the characters storylines but also in the overarching plot of the story. Hell, I've even talked about the metaphor and comparison between how omegas are treated in this universe and how those with mental health struggles are treated in ours. (There's other metaphors in there as well, but that's a different conversation)

So yeah, I agree. Making fun of someone's trauma is fucked up and someday you'll face the ramifications of those decisions. Be it karma or real-life consequences, or even better, both.

It's so hard learning to acknowledge and accept mental health struggles. I get it, I've been on that journey for years and I've been going through a lot of that this year too. It's so hard and so many people have no sympathy for it because they have a severe lack of understanding.

I think Simon secretly enjoys it because it's like the one day he can wear his mask and not have anyone say anything stupid about it 🤭 he even gets compliments. After the reader joins them, he's a bit more openly excited, and may even be convinced to join in on the costumes.

I dont think John really cares one way or another, he participates because it makes the kids happy 😂 let's himself be dressed up and watches horror movies with them, and eats candy until his teeth hurt. Definitely more of a savory kind of guy.

But jokes aside this is wild like literaly the episode ended with bi buck reveal and straight away (bad pun I'm sorry) we have the promo that starts with Eddie high jacking the date. Like this has been approuve by the team not just PR like it has to have been approved. And if they didn't want buddie they wouldn't do it like that, heck if they didn't want buddie the bi reveal would not have included eddie and we definitely wouldn't have eddie interrupt the date (I know it's been said before but that is fanfiction territory and just wild!). I'm repeating all the points that shows that they aren't against buddie and that shows that we have a line following them in this journey and all the interviews and all cause im terrified they'll just not make buddie canon and only have eddie being BFF ally eddie but it would be cruel of them to taunt us like that and leave us hanging cause that is a lot like never seen before in any other show a lot!

Like I mentioned this before 7x04 aired but buck and Tommy kissing could make buddie becoming canon less of a shock to the fans so I think that while they kinda needed to do it that way to better communicate to the new audience and GA, sorta to set the scene, they’re kinda now trying to still maintain as much build up and shock for when they do make buddie canon if you get what I mean?

2024: A Perfume Odyssey

For anyone who might possibly be reading this, it's not entirely accurate of me to say that my fragrance journey began in 2024. It really began the previous year through a combination of curiosity and boredom, and had its origins in my last trip to France, which was in 2017.

I went with 2024 because in March I took my first trip abroad since France, this time to Italy, and I was positively inundated with fragrance during the two weeks I spent there. Milan was the city of oud and other opulent odors, while Venice, Florence and Rome strayed more into floral and fruity territory, but all throughout I was delighted by the world of scents (and flavors) I had so newly (re)discovered.

After returning home, I flipped through my "library" of fragrances and found something lacking. For me, trying out a scent is like selecting an accessory to go with an outfit, or being briefly transported to a different dimension accessed by sense memory. I'd acquired a few of each over the years--notably Frédéric Malle Outrageous in travel size and Tokyomilk Everything & Nothing in full size--but most of the samples I'd ordered through the mail fell short of what I wanted them to be.

Full disclosure: my initial buying choices last year may have been influenced by an ASMRtist on YouTube and a movie star with a mission to create "clean" unisex fragrances. The results were entertaining if not as satisfying as I'd hoped. English-born Penhaligon's yielded some fun origin stories like Hammam Bouquet (Oscar Wilde's fragrance of choice apparently) and Blenheim Bouquet (Winston Churchill's), but few felt like something I would actually want to wear more than once or twice. I'm not drawn to most stronger scents like vanilla or patchouli, and I tend to be selective with florals or anything that smells like it came out of a magazine ad.

In Italy I smelled many things, including Véronique Gabai and Goutal Paris and Diptyche and Santa Maria Novella (referenced in the latest Ripley series on Netflix), but the only fragrance I brought home was VG Sexy Garrigue, which to me smells like being gently submerged in a honey bath on a sunlit afternoon. It carries just a whisper of oud, reminding me of the city where I found it, Milan, without feeling drowned by it. A transportive scent par excellence that also serves perfectly well as an accessory.

In contrast, there's D.S. & Durga. I'd become aware of this niche New York-based boutique fragrance power couple after being gifted a Spirit Lamp-scented candle a few years ago, but it wasn't until I'd returned from Italy that I finally took the plunge and ordered some samples from them.

I started with a four-pack comprised of I Don't Know What, Cowboy Grass, Sweet Do Nothing, and Amber Kiso. Based on the many reviews I'd read, these were some of the OGs mixed with more recent additions, but nothing prepared me for what I would experience upon spraying each for the first time.

(On second thought, I wouldn't say I was entirely unprepared. I'd been inhaling Spirit Lamp for a while after all--a delicious milky-sweet delicacy with underlying hints of metal and musk--and it has been designated the "sex candle" in our household 🤭).

I Don't Know What (a literal English translation of je ne sais quoi) is more or less as described: a woodsy framework meant to be layered and built upon, or otherwise lending a subtle glow to one's natural body scent. I found that it layered well with one of the fragrances I'd sampled last year, and I will likely add them both to my wishlist.

Cowboy Grass was a surprise. Not as transportive as I'd been led to believe (whoever is behind the marketing team at DS&D is a genius), but it grew on me as it revealed notes both leathery and sweet, like a warm breeze wafting through an open-air market in the desert. OK, so maybe that last sentence reveals it to be more transportive than my initial impression made it out to be. It doesn't evoke either cowboys or grass in my mind, but I could picture someone like Curt Wild wearing it, which makes it even more appealing to me.

Amber Kiso, on the other hand, was deeply transportive. I tried it for the first time right before settling into a long meditation session and felt like I'd been whisked away to a holy forest, or possibly a monastery in the Himalayas. A bit too strong in the amber department to wear regularly, but I will be bringing it out whenever I want to experience it just for myself and be transported again.

Sweet Do Nothing was as advertised, heavy on the orange blossom and evoking a casual summery spirit. There are certain true floral scents that I will tolerate, orange blossom and rose among them, and I will likely continue to spritz this one on through the summer without feeling a need to buy more.

In summary, D.S. & Durga is the most varied adventure in fragrancy I've had yet, and it's going to be a struggle to prevent myself from ordering yet more samples from them this year. 😩 Which brings me to my final confession: I caved in to a promotional deal with FragranceNet.com this week.

It wasn't entirely out of the blue because I'd been longing after a couple of Goutal Paris fragrances sampled in Italy, and I was thrilled to find a travel-sized Eau d'Hadrien for a very affordable price. I justified the rest of my purchases as either birthday gifts (Tea Rose for the mom and Burberry for the fiancé) or low-stakes forays into other realms of scent I hadn't experienced before.

I think I've amassed enough of a collection at this point to satisfy this particular itch for the rest of the season at least--Eau d'Hadrien especially was made for the heat of summer, with its ginger-sharp edges and sweet heart that could fit the likes of Arthur Stuart--but I don't believe it's the last time I will be waxing lyrical about olfactory matters, nor do I want it to be. 💋

⭐️THE WILD ROBOT SPOILER-FREE REVIEW⭐️

Hey guys It’s Queen, Ik it’s been a long time since I posted on here. (Thank you Bookworm for holding on🙏🫶) I recently watched DreamWorks’ The Wild Robot and when I left the cinema I was flabbergasted and in AWE (AND I MEAN IT.) by how gorgeous the movie was. God, it really just genuinely messed me up in the best way possible. An incredible experience.

I’ll try not to spoil it in this review. I’ll mostly just be talking about how this film is definitely one of the best—if not, the best animated film of 2024 and also how it affected me and my thoughts on it.

Honestly I didn’t think much of this film when the trailer released because there wasn’t much talk about it. But after seeing it in person I definitely feel that it was worth it 100%. It’s a film you can watch with anyone—friends, family, etc. Easily 10/10 five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s a must-see for everyone. PLEASE GO SEE IT, you will not regret it.

The animation, the voice acting, the story being told, the visuals and just the vibes overall are absolutely INSANE. I wasn’t even gonna write this review because I was speechless by how fantastic this film was. (Also I am totally not writing this late at night who would do that oh my lawd🤭)

I have to talk more about the visuals because I was GOB-SMACKED when I saw the various beautiful scenes that appeared in the film. The film-makers created a stunningly realistic world that is both visually appealing and emotionally engaging. You can see how hard the crew-members worked on making this movie the best they could. (And THEY DELIVERED.)

The movie is filled with multiple heart-touching moments and interactions that make this film unbelievably unique and compelling in so many ways.

The Wild Robot kept my attention the WHOLE time. The story was immaculate and the characters + voice actors carried this film exceptionally well. UGH the voice acting—I couldn’t get enough. 😭🫶 Lupita Nyong’o (The VA for Roz) nailed the way the character’s portrayal and way of speaking, her voice immediately caught my attention and she suited the role so well. AND DON’T GET ME WRONG, PEDRO PASCAL AS FINK—💜.

I have to say though, I really am glad that this account was made. I don’t really write a lot except for university, so writing these allows us to not only share our thoughts/theories, but also have a hobby that we love.

ANYWAY, CONTINUING ON. I have to point out that the whole time the film was on screen, I was CRYING. LIKE LEGITIMATELY FULL ON CRYING WATERFALLS. I have to say; I feel like this film definitely had more of an impact on me because I felt connected with the characters on a personal level. Maybe that’s why I cried so much😭.

The cast of characters was such a huge highlight of The wild Robot. Roz is a charming, endearing and silly protagonist who quickly won my heart. She has funny and touching interactions with others and her journey of self-discovering is both inspiring and relatable.

I don’t really know what else to say, as I am still pretty speechless by this film. But I hope that reading this makes at least a few people want to go watch, It’s so worth it. I’m not sure if there will be a sequel but I would love to see one—even if it’s not as spectacular as this first movie☝️.

I couldn’t even wipe my tears because they just kept falling. The Wild Robot is just overwhelmingly heartwarming and emotional—not the mention beautifully animated, telling a moving tale about love and acceptance, friendship and the importance of belonging.

Overall I highly recommend it, the pacing in the beginning is a little off—but it’s not a huge problem because the stunning animation drowns it out. Other than that, there are no immediate flaws. Absolutely amazing. 💜

Red Rising characters as the tarot.

(I'm only using cards from the major arcana for simplicity's sake!) Also, it's been a long while since I read the entire series (I'm currently rereading morning star rn!) So forgive me if this might be inaccurate but I'm going off of what I remember lol.

Darrow: The Chariot

Honestly, I debated on choosing the Death card for him, because Death has to do with change, the closing of one chapter to begin another and a lot of Darrow's journey throughout the book is in line with the qualities of the Death card. But I decided on the Chariot because the aspects of that card does also reflect Darrow: the Charioteer that guides and manages opposing forces, this card is all about overcoming obstacles through maintaining control and keeping on track with your goals. The willpower to rein in the push and pull of all the challenges you face. And he's been through a lot of shit, he's had to swallow down all he felt in order to look to the future, even if he wanted to give up. Darrow, to me, is definitely the Chariot.

Mustang: Strength

I honestly debated on whether or not to catagorize her as Justice, but I settled on Strength. Funnily enough, the Rider-waite depiction of strength has a woman with a lion. (See below)

But I swear that wasn't intentional. But in my eyes, Mustang does embody the qualities of this card. She knows herself and what she values. This card's main aspects is someone who is disciplined and level headed, even in situations where other people might not be like that. In the card, the woman tames the feral lion, not because she's using force or violence, but because she's calm and disciplined. Mustang is smart, and she knows how to play the game of social interaction. And she knows it too. Using that skill to protect the people she loves.

Victra: Wheel of Fortune

Look, I had a bit of trouble with this one. But I settled on the wheel of fortune. Victra is a bit of a wild card to me, and the wheel of fortune is kind of like that.

Adrius/The Jackal: The World (reversed)

Thought I was gonna put him as the Devil, didn't you? XD

Look, I was tempted (pun not intended) but no. To me, Adrius is the World, but in its worst qualities. Instead of the feeling of wholeness and accomplishment that comes from the World, Adrius kinda has the opposite. Especially at the end of Golden son and the beginning of Morning Star. He technically has everything, a high position (I mean, he's archgovenor during MS), people defer to him in some ways. Those are accomplishments. But there's a hole. Incompleteness. He did not get the one thing he wanted: his father's approval and his love. When he didn't get it, he shot his father point blank. He has his sister's ability to play the people game, but without her inherent desire to protect those closest to her. They're definitely mirrors of each other.

Roque: The Hierophant

Roque embodies the Hierophant tbh. It's a card about sticking to tradition and the established status quo. He doesn't want change in Society, because he wholeheartedly believes in the supremacy of Golds. And he has that sort of upright academic vibe (I mean, they literally call him the poet). I can definitely see him drawn as the figure in this card. Just look at it:

Tactus: The Devil

Tactus really is kinda in the grips of the messy soup of that card. Excess, entrapment. Addiction. And in the end, it led him astray even when at the end he wanted to change. He never got a chance to.

Sevro: The Tower

This one was kind of hard, honestly. But I settled on the Tower. Dude's life has been marked by one major change after another. Finding out his friend is Red, finding out his mother is a Red, his father dying and having to take up the mantle of Ares. You know. But this card is about letting that tower fall, it was gonna happen anyway, so you might as well dust yourself off and keep going. Sevro is kind of like that, imo.

Lysander: The Moon

I honestly don't really know how to explain it. And no, NO. it was not because his last name is Lune. I swear to God, that was not intentional. He just gives off the vibes of that card. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the AST finale! You should be very proud of it. I wanted to share what the fic means to me personally, so hoping you’ll forgive a ramble.

I began it last January. I’m a lifelong SW fan, but something about tBoBF spurred me to start watching the Clone Wars, which I’d never seen. I watched all of that, and then all of Rebels. And then pretty quickly I moved on to SW books-the Padmé series, Aftermath, four Legends Thrawn novels, and all six canon Thrawn novels. A lot of Chiss Ascendency fans are also High Republic fans (hyperspace navigators unite I guess 🤭) So I’m now on to phase two of the High Republic and it’s been a wild ride!

And of course, I’ve read a ton of fanfic. Yours has been with me from the beginning of my deep dive into SW, and I just wanted to thank you for your dedication to this story. It will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ll look forward to any further little snippets and POVs you might share. Thanks again for everything. 💜

 Guys, they are NOT a couple. She is obsessed and clingy and Jared told her a few kind words that he is going to work and she is NOT allowed to travel with him. Like he was not going to spend money on her, get it? To buy her a flight, accomodation and visa. She is just an option and Jared likes to have them. You were sure she will be in Poland. And so? Guess what. This is not as serious as you think it is. Jared is distancing himself while she is clingy. He just takes what she gives and she is trying to gain what every other girl tried during all this journey with him to be 'official'. And her face and mood tells it all. Amen.
