The Surprising Link between Junk Food and Kidney Stones: What You Need to Know
Tumblr media
Introduction:
Kidney stones, those tiny yet painful formations within the kidneys, have become a prevalent health concern. Surprisingly, our dietary choices, including the consumption of junk food, can significantly contribute to their development. In this article, we'll explore the impact of junk food on kidney stone formation, provide a list of foods that can cause kidney stones, and discuss effective treatments and renowned kidney specialists in Bangalore.
The Relationship between Junk Food and Kidney Stones:
Studies have revealed that junk food, high in sodium, unhealthy fats, and sugar, can disrupt the body's mineral balance, particularly calcium and oxalate.
This imbalance increases the risk of kidney stone formation.
Foods That Cause Kidney Stones:
Certain foods can increase the likelihood of developing kidney stones:
Sodium-rich Foods: Excessive consumption of processed foods, fast food, and canned soups high in sodium can raise calcium levels in urine, increasing the risk of kidney stones.
Oxalate-rich Foods: Foods like spinach, rhubarb, beets, chocolate, nuts, and tea contain high levels of oxalate, contributing to the formation of calcium oxalate stones, the most common type of kidney stone.
Animal Protein: Reducing intake of animal protein from sources like red meat, poultry, and seafood helps lower the risk of kidney stones, as excessive protein intake can increase calcium and uric acid levels in the urine.
Sugary Beverages: Soft drinks and sweetened juices containing fructose and phosphoric acid can promote kidney stone formation.
Kidney Stone Treatment in Bangalore:
If you require kidney stone treatment in Bangalore, consider consulting these renowned specialists:
Dr.L N Raju – Urologist at Blue Bliss Hospital With extensive experience in diagnosing and treating kidney stones personalized care and utilizes advanced techniques for effective stone management.
Conclusion: Understanding the impact of our dietary choices, particularly junk food, on kidney stone formation is crucial. By being mindful of foods that can contribute to kidney stones and making healthier choices, we can take proactive steps towards prevention. Seeking guidance from experienced kidney specialists in Bangalore ensures proper diagnosis and effective treatment when needed. Remember to maintain a balanced diet, hydrate adequately, and prioritize your kidney health to minimize the risk of kidney stone formation.

Astro observations: Health aspects from the 6th house 💫
6th house in Aries: Be mindful of strong reactions, impulses and emotions as these could trigger high blood pressure, stress or unwanted headaches. Possible problems associated with the adrenal glands if health is not good. The person could be nearsighted/farsighted. Teeth issues and sensitive gums are common with this placement.
6th house in Taurus: Be careful with ‘burnout’ and try to keep a healthy work-life balance. The individual is prone to respiratory conditions, jaw and neck pain/problems, weight gain (associated with thyroid issues). Thyroid disease. Problems with your voice or throat. Take it easy and follow a rhythm that honors your needs.
6th house in Gemini: Allergies, infections, asthma, cough, breathing issues. Arms, hands and fingers might be sensitive. Anxiety and nervousness caused by too many unorganized/unwanted thoughts. Be careful with hand, arm and/or shoulder injuries.
6th house in Cancer: Sensitive breasts/chest area. Inflammation associated with water/fluid retention. Pay close attention to your salt and fat consumption. Intolerance to different ingredients. It is vital for individuals with this placement to express their emotions as this can feel like a detox process for a 6th house cancer.
6th house in Leo: Hear what your heart is telling you. Don’t let stress or anger take you 'over the edge'. Similar to Aries in this house, it is common for the native to suffer from high blood pressure if a balanced lifestyle is not followed; a healthy diet will help this native tremendously. Be careful with hernias and your spine. Back pain/injuries. Spend more time outside.
6th house in Virgo: Food sensitivities. Problems with digestion. Pay attention to sugar, fats, starches and the way your body reacts to them. Pancreatitis. Bloating associated with food intolerances. Meditation is recommended to calm an active mind and a healthy relationship with food will help with digestive issues.
6th house in Libra: Lumbar pain. Problems with the lower back. Sensitivity to salt. Kidney stones. Insulin resistance. Diabetes. Partnerships have a big influence in your life; stress or strong (negative) emotions resulting from these relationships can have a big impact in your health.
6th house in Scorpio: Constipation. Bladder/Urinary tract infections. Issues with libido/sex hormones. Cystitis (inflammation of the bladder; can cause pain or/and a burning sensation when peeing). Problems with the colon and elimination systems. Let go of any guilt/shame around your sexuality and keep a healthy relationship with your needs.
6th house in Sagittarius: Issues associated with the pituitary gland. Hip mobility problems, pain or injuries. Obesity. For optimal liver health, alcohol and stress levels need to be monitored and, if possible, reduced to a minimum. Yoga can help ease stiffness around the hips and thighs.
6th house in Capricorn: Knee pain. Injuries/procedures can cause significant scarring. Hair loss or scalp issues. Arthritis and joint pain. If your body is telling you to slow down, honor it and rest. Movement in every way is beneficial for the native. Be careful with your bones.
6th house in Aquarius: Varicose veins. Frequent cramps. Arteries and veins might need to be monitored closely, as the native is prone to circulation problems. Calf pain. Stress, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia. Be careful with addictions. Stay hydrated.
6th house in Pisces: Problems with the lymphatic system. Feet pain, inflammation, discomfort, injuries. Plantar fasciitis. Be careful with falls. Sleep problems, nightmares. Sadness that can lead into deep depression. Time alone is necessary. Make sure you’re getting the hours of sleep that your body requires to work harmoniously.
Stay tuned for more! :)

Dogday: vanilla as said before helps relax and calm people by reducing anxiety and calms the nerves but also helps with fevers, spasms, blood clotting, although from what I found large amounts can lead to sleep issues but I don't know how accurate that is so take that with a grain of salt. (Kid care?)
Catnap: poppy flower as known does cause a fatigue affect but also has traces of opioids, along with that it also analgesia (inability to feel pain.), euphoria (the laughter), respiratory depression (breath shallow leading to build up of carbon dioxide in the blood.), decreased gastrointestinal mobility (digestive problems resulted when nerves or muscles in the gut do not work in a coordinated way.), and physical & psychological dependency.

Blake: Do you want that? Do you WANT kidney stones? Your body is a machine that turns food into cum and diet soda into piss.

word count: 2k
Crystal finds herself in the middle of an incident and decides to step in, using her powers to help an innocent woman on the streets of Hell’s Kitchen.
Tumblr media
For the next few nights, Crystal laid low in a run down hotel in the neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen just to ensure that she was not followed to the States by any of her father’s men. One evening while she was going back to the hotel with takeout Chinese food in hand, she heard a scream behind her. Not wanting any attention brought to herself, Crystal quickened her pace, getting back to her hotel and locking herself in her room for the night.
As she ate her dinner though, she couldn’t help but hear a nagging little voice in the back of her head telling her that she should have turned around and helped whoever screamed. “You have the ability to save people with your gift, but now for all you know, they’re dead on the street,” the voice told her, making a hard knot form in the back of her throat. She forced down the rest of the food and tried to ignore the little voice which she had begun to attribute to an angel that was sent by God to torment her.
The next few nights passed, and the same thing happened: she would be out and some bad thing or another would be happening to an unseen stranger and instead of helping she ran to shelter, hoping that the proper authorities would deal with the perpetrator. The pattern continued until one night she was walking back to her hotel and a woman walking in front of her was being catcalled by a group of drunk men ambling down the sidewalk.
Crystal was about to cross the street and avoid the men until one of them began to grope the poor woman who began sobbing as they started ganging up on her. “Do something! Use your gift for good!” said the voice.
With a slight bit of hesitation, Crystal sighed, pulling her scarf over the bottom half of her face and her hood over her head. She made her way into the nearby alleyway before stomping the ground, causing a few good-sized pieces of pavement to become free from the sidewalk. She made punching motions which made the stones fly toward the woman’s attackers, heading straight for their stomachs, kidneys, and groin areas. “What the hell man, who’s throwing rocks at us?!” one of the men shouted as he uncoordinatedly swung his arms around trying to fend off the projectiles.
At this comment and upon seeing that the men were not necessarily deterred, Crystal took it up a notch, crouching down and punching the ground, causing a large crack to form in the pavement. This made the inebriated men trip and their victim used this opportunity to slip away from the group, sprinting in the opposite direction. As she ran, she looked around into the alleyway Crystal had hidden in, but by then she had already used her powers to form a wall so the woman wouldn’t see her.
After a few minutes when the drunk men began stumbling off once more, Crystal continued the trek to her hotel for the night with a warm feeling radiating in her chest. She smiled to herself at the feeling, knowing that if she was still here, her mother would be proud of her for using her gift for good, not just to intimidate high-rolling drug dealers.
Rounding the corner, Crystal brushed past a young blonde woman about to get into her car. She kept her head down and hood up as she passed the woman, unsure if she had witnessed the encounter. She ducked into another alleyway and watched as the woman fished for her keys in her pockets, ensuring that she got into her car safely. Once she was inside and began to drive away, Crystal walked off in the opposite direction of her hotel, suddenly feeling a desire to aid someone else before she turned in for the night.
It didn’t take too long to find some teenage thug sprinting away from a bodega with an armful of presumably stolen goods. The owner wasn’t too far behind, but seemed to be running out of steam as he ran after the young man. Crystal gently stomped her foot on the ground and gestured up with her palm, causing a portion of the sidewalk to shift upward, tripping the young man. As he fell to the ground, the bodega owner caught up to him and took back his goods, shouting at him to get lost, citing that this time he was letting him off easy.
That warm feeling filled Crystal’s chest once more as she went deeper into the alleyway to hide from the bodega owner. Once he was gone, before she could head back out into the open, she was suddenly pinned to the brick wall from behind. Acting on instinct alone, she warped the wall, causing her attacker to lose their grip on her. She used this moment to slip out of their grasp and stomped the ground, making a punching motion and causing two large pieces of pavement to fly into the air at her attacker who dodged them gracefully, almost like an acrobat.
When she finally got a good look at the man, she saw that he wore all black and had a black piece of fabric covering the upper half of his face. She didn’t get much time to take in anymore details before he was attacking again, throwing quick punches that took her off her feet. “Who are you and what are you doing in my city?” the man’s deep voice asked as he stood above her.
Gesturing upward once more from her place on the ground, the two pieces of stone from before were hovering on either side of the man’s head again. Crystal quickly drummed up a generic American accent and said to the man, “Give me one good reason I shouldn’t smash your head in right now for attacking me.”
“I’m not the one on the ground here. Answer the question,” he demanded. “Who are you and what are you doing in my city?”
Crystal scoffed. “Your city?”
“You’re not from around here are you?” the man asked.
“And what makes you think that?” Crystal returned.
“Because everyone from around here knows who the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is.”
“Oh, so you’re not just some acrobat running around cosplaying as Westley from The Princess Bride?” Crystal smarted off.
The man opened and closed his mouth before sighing and shaking his head. “Look, clearly you don’t know how things work around here, but I can also tell by the fact that you haven’t smashed my head in that you aren’t one of the bad guys. The police have come to trust me to bring in criminals around here, but if they see someone tearing up their roads and assaulting people with rocks, they’re going to take you in and this whole vigilante thing will be over before you even get started. Stay out of things you have no business sticking your nose in.”
Crystal slowly stood up and lowered the stones to the ground, telling him, “All I did was make sure a woman didn’t get assaulted and that a man didn’t get robbed.”
“And I’m sure they appreciate that, but just trust me when I say to stay out of it before you’re in way over your head. If I could take you down that easily you don’t stand a chance against the real criminals around here,” he said before jumping up onto a fire escape above him.
“You’re wrong,” Crystal called back to him as he jumped onto the roof of the building. When he turned back toward her, she elaborated, “All I want is to help people and to do good with the gift I’ve been given. I’ve taken down dozens of men bigger and stronger than you, believe me. You’re just going to have to deal with the fact that I’m here to stay, Mr. Devil.”
Without saying anything in response, the man turned away and sprinted off along the rooftops. Crystal shook her head as she placed her hand on the ground and returned the wall and pavement to their original state. With this newfound desire to help people, no one was going to stop Crystal, not even the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
Tumblr media
The next morning at the new law office of Nelson, Murdock, and Page, the young blonde woman entered the office, sending her friends a greeting before asking, “Hey Matt can I talk with you real quick?”
“Of course,” Matt Murdock said as he gestured for her to enter his small office space. When she sat down, he asked, “Everything okay, Karen?”
“Yeah, fine, I just saw something weird last night…” she replied, playing the scene over again in her head for the dozenth time.
“Weird as in…?” Matt prompted.
“As in like…someone with abilities stopping some drunks from assaulting someone,” she said, unsure of how to word the phenomenon without sounding like she was the drunk one. “It’s like they were… I don’t even know, they seemed to have a range of abilities I can’t put a single word to it,” Karen said, frustration seeping into her voice at her lack of words. Usually, Karen was well-spoken and eloquent, it’s one reason she used to be such a good journalist, but this was not one of those moments.
“Well what did this person do?” Matt asked, curiosity in his voice.
“Well they seemed to use their mind to… I dunno…”
“Manipulate concrete,” Matt finished.
“Yes!” Karen said, snapping her fingers and pointing toward Matt. “They launched rocks at some drunk guys trying to assault this poor woman, seemed to know exactly where to aim them for damage that wasn’t lethal. They also caused a rift in the sidewalk which was the distraction the woman needed to get away.” She paused for a moment before asking, “Wait, how did you…?”
“I ran into her too,” Matt replied, drumming his fingers lightly on his desk.
“As Matt or…?”
“No, as Daredevil. I told her to not stick her nose into things before she gets in over her head,” he said with a shake of his head.
“Before who gets in over their head?” came Foggy Nelson’s voice as he popped his head into the office space. “God, please don’t tell me we’re getting roped into another one of your self-sacrificing vigilante things, because after Fisk last year I’ve had enough of that to last me a lifetime. At least wait a couple years before we do that again.”
“It’s just some woman with powers we both ran across last night,” Matt told his best friend and law partner.
“Why’d you tell her to stop?” Karen asked curiously.
“Because when people around here try to play vigilante, people end up hurt, that’s all,” Matt said.
“Yeah, including you, buddy,” Foggy replied. “Why not let whoever this is do what they do and give yourself a break for once in your life?”
There was a long pause before Matt said, “Because I’m not sure if she’s got the right intentions yet.”
“It just sounds like you’re jealous of someone else with powers helping out around here,” Karen said teasingly with a quiet laugh.
“Jealous? I’m not jealous. I just don’t know if we can trust her to do the job right is all,” Matt defended.
“She stopped two crimes in the span of, what? Half an hour last night? It sounds to me like she can handle it,” Karen told him as she stood up from the chair across from his desk and walked to their old beat up coffee machine to get some caffeine for the day.
“Just let it play out a little while longer, bud,” Foggy told Matt with a light pat on the shoulder. “If things start going to shit then you can intervene, but to me it sounds like if she can take care of the smaller petty crime, that opens up more time for you to concentrate on the bigger things that will potentially get us more clients around here.”
“But Fog-” Matt tried.
“Just think about it,” he said. “Not now though because we have an appointment with a client here in a couple minutes.”
next chapter
a/n: okay the reason i slipped in the joke about cosplaying as Westley from The Princess Bride is because last year before i watched Daredevil i went to a comic con (charlie, vincent, rosario, and jon were there im SO sad i wasnt into the show at that point 😭) and i saw someone who i now know was dressed as Matt in the black suit but i thought it was a Princess Bride cosplay whoops lmao

The way the feedbacker parrying works is kinda like a spring or a trampoline. It receives kinetic energy, and bounces back with even more force. The reason why parried projectiles explode is because the hell energy orb gets cracked from being punched (the arm's still metal mind you), making it unstable and volatile.
Since willpower and how you're remembered after you die is what decides how your husk will look, filths are probably nobodies that people forgot about, strays had more impact on the world but are weak-willed, stalkers had a strong will but left little to no mark on the world, and insurrectionists are probably billionaires that hoard their wealth thats why thehy so beeg and are in greed layer. the other husks we already kinda know how they work
V1 blasts the game's soundtrack in the areas where it plays. imagine just being suffering in hell, like usual, and suddenly you're hearing altars of apostasy blast at full volume rapidly getting louder and louder as this robot guy rides a rocket towards you
V1 isn't just soulless in his slaughter, he's downright malicious and toys with his prey. when V1 beat V2 for the first time, he could've easily stomped V2 out while he was on the ground recovering after the final hit (see V2's defeat animation in the first fight), but V1 let him go so he could have a little fun and fight him later. The same goes for Gabriel in both of his fights when he was down doing his little defeat monologue. Corpse of King Minos and Leviathan weren't spared because they're animalistic and not sentient. They'd be no fun to spare and fight again to watch them suffer (also V1 had to kill them off completely to go to next layer). V1 doesn't just kill you, he enjoys killing you.
hell is human shaped. each layer is a part of hell's body and you're going down its body. limbo is up in the brain somewhere (get it cause it's up in the clouds), lust is in the vocal chords because you use those to speak filthy horny words, gluttony is in the stomach (obviously) and the big heart you see in 3-2 at gabe's arena is hell's big heart. not minos's. fuck minos i hate that guy. then greed is in the fucking, uh, gallbladder or some shit. wrath is in the regular bladder (not gall) and also 5-1 is in a kidney i think. that why its in a cave. hell got kindey stones problem. heresy is in the intestines (the reason why there is so much red is because hell had spicy mexican food yesterday he got diahrreah). violence is in the balls that's why there's white everywhere. fraud is in the knees cause scammers deserve to have their kneecaps broken, and trachery is in the feet because.
somewhere, out there, exists a filth with arms called Jerry. angels found him to be a funny guy so they let him sit in his lawn chair in a patio made for him see image below

So, those who follow my personal blog are aware, and I know I'm not required to give details, but I've been thinking about letting people know and now's as good a time as any:
My dad was hospitalized for Acute Pancreatitis late at night on the 4th of August, after experiencing increasing pain for several days prior which he mistakenly originally thought was food poisoning. (And several incidents of "food poisoning" over the last year which were likely this pancreatitis beginning). Only once it became excruciating did he ask to be taken to the hospital, and by then it had caused some damage to his kidneys, liver, and GI tract. The cause is, they suspect, a gall stone which got stuck in the duct and eventually was passed.
Most people, with care, recover from Pancreatitis within 3 or 4 days, but my dad's been in the hospital for about 10, and they said he shouldn't leave without gallbladder removal surgery, but can't seem to get him to reach a point where they feel safe performing the surgery. So there's currently no discharge date in sight.
He was in the ICU over the weekend because the IV fluids they needed to help calm his pancreas was backing up into his lungs and causing breathing issues, and the nurses were too busy to keep up with his pain medicine. I think the fluid issue has been resolved? He's only recently been taken off all pain medication, finally able to bear being without it even if it still hurts. He should be moved out of the ICU today, if not tomorrow.
He is stable right now, but in pain, and taking longer to recover than is comfortable.
On top of that, I'm still unemployed, and I need to fix that ASAP but, yknow, no one wants to hire anymore, so it's been slow going.
I still log onto tumblr almost every day, bc Dal is a comfort to me even if I'm not actively writing/drawing for him.
I have it in my mind I want to participate in the currently ongoing TES Summer Fest even if I will be late for every post. And, of course, BG3 Dal is over here. One day I'll play ffxiv and write/draw for that Dal, and I have ideas for Modern Dal I just haven't posted to his blog yet. I haven't been able to sit still long enough to organize my thoughts into cohesive headcanons.
So I'm still here, I'm just overwhelmed at the moment. I appreciate everyone's patience with asks and replies, and I appreciate that people still have an interest in Dal despite my slowed activity.
I know people are often unsure what to talk about when serious subjects are present (not wanting to feel "cold" by changing the subject from serious matters), but I promise Dal is always a safe, even preferable, subject to bring up with me, whenever you want, wherever you want. If you want to remind me of an RP we had 8 years ago, please do. If you saw a bug outside that made you think of Dal for whatever reason, I wanna know. Don't feel like asking for an RP or sending asks is somehow cold or callous; it's a nice distraction even if I'm slow to respond.

Since starting my ADHD meds in the beginning of 2024 I have lost 15.4 kg, not changing my diet my much just making it sensory friendly, and not having to use food for self medication for the extreme low dopamine.
So no more late night eating, no more eating and thinking about food non stop to raise dopamine levels, feeling nutritional full and nutritional hungry, not just dopamine hungry and filled to the brim of food not able to stuff anymore into my body.
My chronic overeating has never been an eating disorder or lack of discipline or lack of motivation, it has been a genetic inherited issue having chronic low dopamine and norepinephrine as it is what ADHD is, and the most efficient way to raise dopamine was food lots of food and caffeine and nicotine, it was self medication.
With medication those needes disappeared instantly, food, caffeine and nicotine from the first pill.
So the ADHD meds is reducing my food intake to the proper amount for my body and make me eat and be fully satisfied in the optimal times a day according to nutrition and longevity studies.
I have drunk a half cup of coffee since starting my meds and one cigarette the first day I took my ADHD meds.
My brain and energy levels are working better and are much easier to regulate also, and I am less prone to neurodivergent burnout.
So I am much healthier and in less risk of lifestyle health complications, like heart attack, blood pressure issues, cholesterol issues, strokes, diabetes 2, many types of cancer, kidney stones, back issues, issues with knees, early death, among others.
Thanks to ADHD medicin for my ADHD brain.
I am a nutritionist, now my body starts to look like that I know what I am talking about, my nutritional knowledge hasn't changed really, but my body has but not by changing my food or my exercise, not by willpower, not with motivation, not by a strict routine, but because the issue with chronical very low dopamine and norepinephrine is now treated with meds.
When a healthy lifestyle, with proper food and exercise doesn't work to combat overweight and obesity something different is up with the body like ADHD, digestion issues, nutritional absorbtion issues, among others.
People do not chose to become obese and stay obese, no one wants that!
So stop blaming obese people for their obesity, and wonder if they have some sort of condition that causes excess eating.
If the conventional lifestyle of eating healthy according to BMR and moving the body daily, doesn't work to reduce weight over a year, something else is abnormal in the body that causes the person to consume more food than they nutritionally needs.
Diagnosing and treating that will be the solution to helping the obese person get back to health without it even being difficult.
This is the biggest lesson I have learned about nutrition and health the past 8 years.
And the reason dietitians and nutritionists have patients/clients who "fail", when it is actually the dietitians and nutritionists that fail their clients, due to lack of knowledge of the causes of long-term overwegith and obesity.
The solution isn't weight loss drugs or getting gastric weight loss surgery, the solution is finding the cause of the obesity.
I am only able to lose weight and keep it off when my ADHD is under medical treatment, despite education and knowledge.
My weight loss and my body getting transformed to the optimal body and weight for me, is not difficult or hard.
And for people who have no medical conditions causing their obesity, will easily lose weight if they chose too, and most do, some might need knowledge about healthy eating and cooking homemade meals, and optimal meal times, some might need knowledge about working out and exercise, to lose weight but when having the knowledge it is easy and easy to keep off.

Before I post photos of Jensen from the con last weekend I wanna make a post to apologize for the lack of posts here. Normally I’m on top of anything Jensen & Jared during con weekends. But last weekend was a scary weekend for me. Last Friday I noticed my handsome boy Scooter was peeing blood. At first I wasn’t too sure it was blood I just knew it was not Casper. He tends to pee in the corner of the litter box. Scooter pees in the middle of the litter box or sometimes on the left side of the litter box. For the record before I go on yes I have 1 litter box for 2 cats. I know you are supposed to have 1 litter box for each cat plus an extra. So technically you should have 3 litter boxes. Well I don’t have the space for more than 1 litter box. Plus I can’t afford to buy litter for each box. So I have 1 extra large litter box which is enough for both of my boys. They each have a side of the litter box and I never have any issues with them sharing. Plus it is easy to monitor their bathroom habits/leavings.
Anyway back to Scooter I didn’t know it was blood until I saw him come in and actually pee blood in the litter box. At first I was going to wait til Monday to take him but when he started straining I knew it couldn’t wait. I took him to the emergency vet Saturday. Turns out he has what the call feline lower urinary tract disease basically an UTI. His bladder was full of blood which was scary. He wasn’t blocked but if I had not gotten him there when I did he could have become blocked. Which would have been fatal. The vet was originally talking surgery and a 2 to 3 day stay in the vet hospital. Which would have cost up to $6,000. No way I could have done that so my choice would have been surrender him and they would have gave him a new home after he was better or put him to sleep. So either way I would have lost him and that was NOT an option. The vet said it could be possible to avoid that if his kidney were functioning properly. Luckily his kidneys are normal and functioning properly. So the recommendation was a 24 hour stay to over hydrate him to flush his bladder out. I hated leaving him there cause I didn’t want him to think he was being abandoned. They let me see him before I left. I told him I love him he needed to get better and I was not leaving him that I would be back.
Next day we got a call that he responded well to treatment and he was ready to come home. He was sent home with antibiotics and for some reason 2 pain medications. He does have to be on prescription urinary dry & wet food. This will prevent crystals from forming causing stones which will cause him to get blocked. Thursday he had a check up and he is doing good responded well to the antibiotics. I asked if he could have Purina urinary food cause it is cheap and easy to get. Vet said nope it has to be either Royal Canin or Hill’s prescription food. Over the counter urinary foods don’t have what he need. We went with Hill’s but sadly it is very expensive. It’s $32 for a 4lb bag & $2 or $6 a can for wet food. But I have no choice if I want to prevent him from getting sick again. The vet said it was even safe to have Casper on it too. Cause it’s easier to transition them to the same food than to separate them. I can’t believe it’s been a week since everything happened.
Sometimes I doubt myself as a fur. Sometimes I think I get paranoid when it comes to my 2 cats & pup. But I’m glad I went with my instincts when it came to Scooter. Everyone who knows me knows Scooter means the world to me. Scooter was given to me as a birthday gift in October 2018. I was sick on my birthday so I was upset. 2 days after my birthday my dad found this tiny orange kitten who was 3 weeks old. They could not find his mother so my dad brought him home to me as a gift. I raised him since he was 3 weeks. Since he couldn’t eat food yet I bottled fed him. I set up a safe bed area for him. I would help him get to sleep and litter trained him. He will be 5 on Oct 5th as I estimated that is when he was born. I couldn’t imagine my life without him. It will be a struggle to pay for his food but it is worth it to keep him healthy and with me where he belongs.
Sorry this is so long but I needed to let it out. My life this year has been one shit storm after another. I’m just grateful to still have my baby boy with me.

NOOO THE GERPEE!!! THE SRABES!!!! THE SELELE!!!!! THE BUBEWS-
Studies show that processed meat consumption (aka. selele) may be associated with an increased risk of several types of cancer, including colorectal, stomach, breast, bladder, and esophageal cancers
Eating gerpee might cause diarrhea.
Srabes consumption might cause stomach distress, heartburn, diarrhea, reflux, bloating, and allergic responses in some people.
Consuming bubews can cause potential health concerns like excessive calorie intake, fiber overload leading to GI issues, spikes in blood sugar and oxalate overload leading to kidney stone formation.
DO YOU NOT POSSESS EYEBALLS, ALL HAIL THE HAM!?
YOU ARE PUTTING YOURSELF IN SO MUCH RISKY!
-Respectfully, EuGagUagsgabhGb
You’re really testing my scribe background here. I had to read that over a few times to even attempt to understand what you are going on about.
Mind you, you’re using the word “might” as in, it may or may not happen. There is no guarantee any of that would happen. Often health issues depend on multiple factors, not “eat this and you will die”. Eating any of these foods will not automatically kill you and it’s blatantly false to proclaim such
Also, why do you care about my health? You aren’t my doctor, you’re not my family, you are not my significant other. You have no reason to care about what I decide to put in my body. Are you going to scream about my alcohol intake now? What about my THC? Maybe my sleep schedule while you’re at it. Speaking of, it’s close to 11pm right now. I shouldn’t even be entertaining this conversation. But I can’t say this isn’t at least a little entertaining.

Consume Too much vitamin - D?
Vitamin D is an important food component in our daily life.  A lack of vitamin D can cause many problems in our body, the most notable of which is our bones or bone-related problems.  But do you know what happens to our body when we eat more vitamin D or excess vitamin D?  If we eat or consume more vitamin D than required, various complications appear in our body.  Now let's take a look at some of the problems we have to face by consuming excess vitamin D.
Kidney problems - Taking too much vitamin D can damage our kidneys the most.  As vitamin D helps increase calcium in the body, but consuming excess vitamin D can increase our blood calcium levels.  As a result, the kidneys cannot function properly.
As a result of which difficulties like frequent urination are seen.  Also, taking too much vitamin D can lead to kidney stones.
 Stomach complications -
Taking excess vitamin D can cause various problems in our stomach.  Apart from this, various disturbances are seen in our digestive process.  We can also have diseases like stomach upset or diarrhea.
Can cause bone damage - We all know vitamin D is important for our bone health. Vitamin D is primarily taken to improve bone health. But various studies have shown that taking too much vitamin D can cause bone damage rather than benefit.

What Is NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) Supplement?
N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a synthetic form of cysteine, which is a semi-essential amino acid. Once consumed, NAC breaks down into cysteine, which is then metabolized to glutathione. Glutathione is an important antioxidant for the immune system functioning, detoxification, tissue building and repair.
NAC Benefits Health
There are several health claims surrounding the use of NAC supplements. Some of these claims suggest improved mental health, protection against certain viruses, and relief from respiratory symptoms, although the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hasn’t approved many of them.
Low levels of glutathione are linked to numerous health conditions, such as aging-related issues, diabetes, and heart disease. Therefore, glutathione supplementation is often recommended to prevent or treat diseases. NAC is frequently used as a precursor to glutathione as it can help achieve higher glutathione levels. However, while NAC is associated with numerous health benefits, many of these claims lack sufficient evidence from human-based research.
Tumblr media
NAC is a commonly used, and FDA-approved drug for treating acetaminophen poisoning. Large doses of acetaminophen can cause liver damage, and prompt administration of NAC is essential as it can reduce the extent of liver damage by increasing glutathione levels, which is a powerful detoxifier in the liver.
There is evidence to suggest that NAC may help treat certain respiratory conditions, such as chronic bronchitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This is because NAC can break apart and thin mucus secretions in the airways, which makes it easier to clear the airway through coughing.
Preliminary evidence also suggests that NAC may improve certain mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, substance use disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). However, more research is required to determine the effectiveness of NAC in treating these conditions.
Some research suggests that NAC may improve brain health and help reduce symptoms associated with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. It may also help relieve neuropathic pain caused by central nervous system damage.
NAC supplements may also offer some benefits for people struggling with viral infections. Research suggests NAC works against viral infections by boosting the immune system, reducing inflammation, and preventing the replication of viruses.
Some studies suggest that NAC may help improve sperm quality and reduce oxidative stress in infertile men. It may also have the potential to help slow the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Potential Adverse Effects of N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)
N-Acetylcysteine, commonly known as NAC, is generally considered a safe supplement. However, some individuals may experience side effects when taking NAC.
The most common adverse effects of NAC include gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, low blood pressure, anaphylactic reactions such as a rash, swelling, tightness in the chest, or difficulty breathing, increased heart rate, dizziness, or lightheadedness.
Although most of the side effects of NAC are mild, the supplement may not be suitable for everyone. People with specific medical conditions should avoid taking NAC. Individuals with cystinuria, a rare kidney stone condition, or a bleeding disorder should not take NAC. If you are aware of being allergic to NAC, you should also avoid taking it.
Furthermore, high doses of NAC can potentially elevate the levels of homocysteine, an amino acid linked to heart disease, warns Dr. Liu. Therefore, it is essential to speak with your doctor before taking NAC, especially if you have any underlying health concerns or are taking other medications.
According to Dr. Johnson-Arbor, you should tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter products, prescription drugs, and dietary supplements. Your doctor can evaluate your medication regimen for potential side effects and check your medication list to ensure that you are not at risk of experiencing drug-to-drug interactions.
It's also important to choose a reputable brand when purchasing NAC supplements. As dietary supplements are not regulated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness, it's essential to conduct research and choose a brand that includes high-quality ingredients. One way to ensure the quality of the supplement is to opt for a brand that has been verified through the US Pharmacopoeial (USP) Convention Dietary Supplement Verification Program, indicating that the supplement has undergone third-party testing.
In conclusion, N-Acetylcysteine may provide numerous health benefits, but it's crucial to talk with your doctor before adding NAC to your regimen to ensure that the potential benefits outweigh the risks.
