Is no one gonna talk about how Alastor shows up at the hotel one day, offers his services to Charlie, and then just fucking moves in with them and brings along 2 new flatmates.

Like, how did that conversation even go?

Dude attached a whole ass radio tower to the hotel! Was he homeless? Did he need a place to stay?? Is that why he was so interested in the hotel???

Nothing about him being the hotel’s manager or host or Charlie’s sponsor would necessitate him to actually move in and live with everyone else at the hotel. I can’t imagine Charlie or Vaggie would’ve been particularly welcoming of him deciding to start living with them. Or the new additions to the hotel.

Radio Demon shows up at your door like a wet cat and doesn’t leave. All attempts at removing him result in failure and eldritch horrors best not mentioned.

Ive heard people being divisive in particular about these two things of evichro, but honestly 1) the songs being romanticized retellings of history by Ma who is using them as plots for her plays and 2) the big post apocaliptic sci-fi plot twist are genuinely my favourite part of the series because it really genuinely makes it unique

how do you all create so cool animal crossing new horizons islands~~?

I feel no matter what I try they all look like crap in comparison~~~

course I'm bad at terraforming too tho~~~ hopefully the "hard mode" challenge I'm doing will help fix that, cause you're kinda forced to make your own patterns and clothes and stuff~~~

and I never have an island theme......

tho I like kimonos and try to collect them in game so maybe a rural old fashioned town aesthetic?

but the name tho~~~ I like what I got going on but I don't thin "nectarlake" makes for a good rural Japanese town theme.....

is there a cap on flowers? last island I was flower breeding and I had them EVERYWHERE bc I was breeding all the colors but the "lily of the valley" wouldn't spawn at all~~~

and I waited until I thought I had 5 stars to even check my island rating~~ lol

now cause the reset I got to get there again and I wanted to be slow and chill about it this time~~~ it's supposed to be a chill relaxing game (and I don't play it that way half the time then get bored and reset lol)

been watching youtube videos of "island inspiration" and speed builds of stuff and I'm like "how?? I'm not that creative or talented in my own opinion~~~

and I always try to put the shops and museum in line w resident services .... idk why I do this~~~ or what kind of good build you can do with it...... really early tho and don't even have the able sisters yet so won't get terraforming for a while~~~

Hav small thing I wrote as I try to get past the writers block

The house is quiet.

Fable is… wherever. They can’t bring themself to care enough to know anymore.

Ever since they’d moved the birds out into the small aviary they’d built all they could think of was how quiet it was. (Quiet was… Icarus doesn’t think they like it all that much.)

It was the nights that bothered them the most. When the Things have left and there’s nothing but the pattering of rain on the window and their thoughts to keep them company.

It’s almost as if their pain gets worse then. No distractions no *noise* just the ever changing wound on their chest cycling and changing and changing and-

And it hurts. They can’t- they *don’t* get up to pace or work on potions as they normally would (The thought of getting out of bed was overwhelming enough- much less going down *stairs* to work on their potions.)

They sigh turning over in bed with a wince as pain flares out from their chest- to their ribs and their legs and- their wings spasm slightly behind them, tail twitching as they pull the limbs closer to their body instead.

It was… it was bad. They know that.

They just… don’t like that it hadn’t gotten any better.

They’ve dealt with wounds before- a lot of them- without any help whatsoever. This shouldn’t be *different*.

(It’s not the same. This one spreads deeper and continues to eat away at their energy and resolve with every cycle of glitching. This one leaves a gaping hole in their chest that they *know* can’t be fixed- even if it stopped. This one changed and left agony and *fire* through their nerves every time it did. This one. This one was killing them.)

They curl in on themself slightly tighter as they think about it. It was killing them. They *feel* the way it sucked their energy and emotion and.. *everything* out of them the longer it *stayed*- they could *feel* it- and they still weren’t done.

It’s been… months. It’s been months and they had gotten through less progress than they thought. (Less than Fable *promised*- but they shake away the thought as soon as it appears, and therefore the anger along with it.)

They don’t notice the tears, or the way their too sharp nails dig into the soft fabric of their blanket. They don’t realize how *long* they sit with that.

It was killing them. And they’re not sure what to do with that realization.
