No matter what, you getting his ushanka won't be an accident or a surprise for this Man. He probably knew for quite a long that you wanted to try it on.

Probably would make sure that you won't get it for Some time just to tease you and see your reactions to failing. 

Once he decided he had enough torturing teasing you, he would leave the ushanka on a chair or the bed, in a way that it looks like he for once, doesn't have it in the bathroom with him (Yes the rat showers even if forced) and just left it there. 

So, you obviously had to take your chance and try it on.

"Myshka, what are you doing?"

He definitely came out faster than you anticipated. You spun around, looking like a deer caught in headlights. To say that you took off the ushanka at the speed of light would be an understatement. 

"Ehm... Nothing?" A raised eyebrow. 

"Nothing you say."

 "Yup! Absolutely nothing! Was just looking if my eyebrows are equal!" A dumb response? Very much. Did you care? Not in the slightest, not right now. 

"So my ushanka in your hand doesn't exist?" Fyodor started to walk up to you as he said that. 

You threw the ushanka onto the bed in a hurry. "I don't know what are you talking about Fedya" 

"Sure you don't" 

Fyodor picked up the ushanka from where it lies and put it gently onto your head, fixing the few strands of hair that fell on your face. Are you hallucinating or do you see a small smile on his face? 

"You look nice in it, Myshka" 

“Really?”

“Of course, I wouldn't lie to you after all.”

You looked better in the ushanka than the dark-haired Man first thought, to say the least. And if he told you that you can wear it whenever you want, then no one needs to know, yeah?

He probably knows you wanna steal either his hat or his cape, but wouldn't give you an opportunity to steal it just to see your reactions. It's amusing and he wants to see your emotions what can I say? 

I feel like the first time wouldn't be an accident but planned by him. Casually kidnapping taking you out in winter or just a colder day without letting you get warm clothes first, resulting in shivering and being cold soon enough. 

"Cold?" Came with a teasing smile from the clown. He knew what he was doing and had the audacity to tease. You swear you will hit him with something once you're back home. 

"Shut up, Kolya. Why did you even bring me out here so suddenly?" Your confusion was as clear as a clean glass. 

"Why, to have Some fun! Time for a quiz, dove!" 

"Oh no" 

You swear Nikolai loves giving you quizzes that no one but the rat Fyodor could get or guess. You could bet with the dark-haired Man in question and win the bet.

"And you lost once again!" 

"I did" You chuckled. As much as you lose, they certainly never feel like ones. "So what happens now that I lost?" A good question as every time you lose, Nikolai manages to make the 'punishment' -his Words not yours- a different one. 

"This!" 

And before you realized it, you felt something heavy on your shoulders, but it also was warm. Looking at yourself, you see that Nikolai put his cloak over you, and fucking hell if you could you would just curl up in a ball and sleep, or even hibernate in this shit. The material inside is softer and warmer than you thought, no wonder he doesn't get cold.

"Your cloak?" 

"Didn't you want to try it on, dove?" 

"Is that why you brought me out in this weather in my pajamas?" 

"Of course! How else could've I given you the honor of wearing my cloak?" 

"..."

"Dove?"

"...Listen here you little shit-"

Next week he whined all around, whether at home or at work, all because of you not cooking his favorite cookies that you do every week.

Sigma

I had to think about what would you even steal from this Man but then I remembered this guy wears heels. 

You probably wouldn't need to think of it that much, it would probably be a random idea you got when noticing that he left them somewhere. I feel like he Has a big ass room in the Sky casino, an apartment more like, so getting the heels that would be left by the door wouldn't be hard at all.

You have to say, that even tho the heels don't fit perfectly on your feet, you are absolutely slaying the look. 

"I have to steal them more often goddamn" You mutter to yourself, looking in the mirror.

You continued to walk around a little, just for fun, the heels were more comfortable than you thought, and now your confusion about how does Sigma wears these every day and doesn't complain about feet hurting has been cleared up. 

"Name? Have you seen my heels?" Fuck. 

"No? Why?" From what you know he doesn't wear them after 10 pm (22), since people tend to not come to his office much after if anyone even does, so why is he searching for them at 11:30 pm (23:30)? It's almost midnight for fucks sake. 

"They need me down in the Main room, but I can't find them." 

"Maybe you left them somewhere else and don't remember?" 

"Maybe"

You thought you were safe when you heard him walking away… until you heard him walking directly to the bedroom where you were a few minutes later. 

'Shit-' You thought as you realized that and took if the heels, lightly throwing them under the bed so it looks like they were left there after being taken off by Sigma and kicked under by accident. 

You went back to standing in front of the mirror just as the Man Opened the door. 

"You sure you didn't see them?" 

"Yeah. Why?" 

"The heels are under the bed" Came the soft reply from Sigma, together with a finger pointed at the pair of shoes. 

You leaned down, making it look like you didn't know. 

"Oh, sorry love" To your pleasure a barely noticeable blush appeared on his cheeks due to the pet name. 

"Don't worry about it" A quiet response this time. Sigma Walked over to get the heels before putting them on. 

He stopped at the door before he walked out of the room and turned back to you. "I know you tried them on [name], just so you know." And casually Walked out. 

You want to jump from the window. Fuck.

Sigma didn't mind, not at all. In fact, he bought you a matching pair of heels. It’s needless to say that this pair is one of your favorite shoes.

I feel like half the appeal of sciles is the fact scott is y'know The Good Guy who is trying his goddamn best, who desperately wants to save everyone and does NOT take failure to do so lightly. and then there's stiles, who could not give less of a fuck about anybody else At All if their name isn't scott mccall and thinks everyone who makes his best friend's life harder should die tbh :/

i know robby & collins are like ultimate situationship but it’s so. interesting to think of them before they broke up.

bc i just imagine them as a very domestic couple. it’s giving robby is all but on the lease at heathers townhouse. he has his own drawer. he brings over clothes when he sleeps over and never brings them back home. there’s traces of robby everywhere at her place. when they aren’t working they spend quiet nights together inside her house. they both know they’ll end up in each others arms after a particularly hard shift.

but like they’re so intertwined that it’s genuinely painful when they break up because everything has to be reset back to factory settings. robbys car is full of heathers little things like her thermo that she brings into work that has a forever place in his cup holder, her rings that she never wears into work and the glove department has an array of crackers (and dramamine) because she gets motion sickness and likes to snack on things after a long shift. and he automatically turns the passenger seat warmer on everytime he gets in the car because heather hates the cold. still does it even after they break up.

heather comes off as neat person. she gives the type of person who’d want everything in a particular place and has a Sunday reset day. plays music all day while she cleans. but everything has its own specific place and when robby starts essentially living there there’s just little reminders of him everywhere and she doesn’t bother or mind to put them in their specific places. his glasses case on her nightstand, his favorite books left on her couch armrests or kitchen counters, his shoes left at the door and not on her shoe rack. and she stocks up on his favorite coffee brand so it’s always there whenever he’s over because yk. she only drinks tea (real)

but the container of coffee isn’t finished—not when they break up. but she leaves it in her cupboard. just in case.

idk man i just imagine them toeing the line of a real relationship. together just not with the title but still extremely domestic. apart of it because it happened so fast and they both carry their own baggage but it was safe and real because it was just a thing between them and only them. but when they have bad days and arguments—it’s bad. it sucks the air out of the room, leaves things stilted and frayed. and they never talk about it. because there’s something about talking about it that makes everything too real.

Some Athena thoughts and headcanons for the ‘Diomedes goes to Ithaca AU’

Headcanon that Athena moves around completely quietly (like how owls hunt). So, Telemachus meeting Athena for the first time he gets the shit scared out of him. Diomedes by now knows the tells of Athena being here (and he has the magic eyes) so he’s the one basically warning Telemachus if Athena is in proximity

Telemachus: are you even listening???

Diomedes staring intently at the dodgy looking owl (Athena) in the tree: …yeah

Athena is very much still cool aunt. But I wanna characterise her as a little more mischievous (which could be interpreted as cunning ig) than she probably is in the original mythos. She keeps a close eye on both Telemachus and Diomedes. Most specifically Telemachus! While she cannot reveal to him that Odysseus is alive directly (she cannot incur the wrath of her uncle just yet), she does help him in starting his little Telemachy. It helps boosts his confidence and helps reassure him that maybe his father is alive. HOWEVER, the sudden disappearance of Telemachus causes the stress meters of Diomedes and Penelope to exponentially rise. And Athena finds this a little funny, so she still withholds the information from them.

Telemachus: Athena… sometimes I wonder if father is dead :(

Athena in disguise clenching her fists to try not reveal anything: … he’s too stubborn to die, have a little more faith in him

Athena:

Athena: Hey, I have a great idea if you’re worried about your dad

Penelope stressed out of her mind: WHERE IS HE???

Diomedes equally stressed: I DON’T FUCKING KNOW?.?.????

Athena: *eating popcorn knowing she’ll make sure Telemachus is safe*

Athena is keeping this family very blessed. She is the patron goddess of both Odysseus and Diomedes, and I like to imagine maybe in a more subtle way to Penelope too (I mean… she’s smart, beautiful, AND she can weave???). She’s much closer to Telemachus in this AU than in the original Odyssey, but not like in the way of EPIC?? She keeps her distance from him nonetheless bcs she’s a god and whatnot, but him being close with Diomedes, I imagine Athena has more of an excuse to be around Telemachus growing up.

Telemachus: so.. you knew my father and Diomedes growing up?

saw someone ask where the joy is in s7. what? the whole.... it's everywhere?

it's willow being reassured she's still just as loved and important despite what she'd done. it's anya and xander not getting back together but knowing they still care deeply about one another and will still have each other's backs when it comes down to it. it's spike and buffy learning how to communicate with each other better, or at the least stop lying to each other. it's buffy going out monster hunting with xander and having a good grumble about it. it's dawn and anya being friends again after anya was betrayed by dawn's klepto habits. it's andrew slowly becoming one of their own. it's buffy finding a job that she enjoys, that makes her feel like she's doing something good outside of slaying and doesn't run her down into the dirt. it's willow building a healthy relationship with magic for the first time. it's spike on the journey to accepting himself, both the man and the monster rather than just trying to play one or the other. it's buffy willow and xander being as close as they've ever been again since the early days. it's dawn being integrated into the group properly and proudly showing off how good she is at research. it's xander and spike finally figuring out how to coexist. it's faith and buffy accepting one another. it's anya and andrew having fun just before the end of the world. it's dawn having her own outcast of friends in school just like buffy did. it's buffy choosing spike, loudly, over and over and over again. it's buffy staring down at the crater that was sunnydale and tearfully smiling at everything it meant to her then and everything it represents now

I feel like the majority of s7 is about how you can come back from misery. I think a lot of it is quieter, not always outright stated but shown if you're willing to notice it, and sometimes it's literally telling you to your face. and it says that there is a life after devastation. there will be joy again if you can work for it, if you're willing to try. or this is what I took away from s7 anyhow

** I'm still surprised how much I enjoy Nightreign and especially the multiplayer mode. Something I'm particularly fond of are the little gestures of kindness and team spirit between us random party members.

Like the other day when I was playing as Recluse and our Raider just headed to the next rise on his own, unlocked it, and brought me a cerulean hidden tear.

Or today when I was playing as Ironeye and our party got completely wrecked by a Bell Bearing Hunter in the basement of a castle. I was down with three bars, the night was closing in, the entire hallway pale blue already, but our Recluse stayed and kept hitting me, chugging one flask after another. And just when she went down as well, I spotted our Guardian heading back into the rain as if he wanted to come for us. Big damn heroes. (Eventually we didn't survive the Ancient Dragon of the second night but I'll always remember this run regardless.)
