The defintion of hell is knowing a show is incredibly well-received in its first season, but if people don’t become machines churning out tweets, content, and rewatching 24/7, there’s no likelihood it’ll get a chance to tell its whole story. This shit is madness. Shows in different genres shouldn’t have to pit-battle for dominance. First seasons are MEANT to be baselines establishing worlds and characters, not complete storylines. The idea that this golden age of television has turned into “get it done in one or get out” is revolting.

A friend of mine sent me your latest post and I couldn't stop thinking about how perfectly Vasco would fit into the role of a coat of arms supporter. It got to the point that I just sat down and made a mock-up of the idea; turns out actually, both of them do a great job at it, together. Literally made this account to share the discovery
(Extra funny points for them fitting the original colour scheme)

related to Nico's ridiculous crush on Percy, we don't talk about this bit from TLO enough as a fandom
Nico's having A Moment thinking about his crush here and it's so funny to me.

White people in this community, you need to start listening to POC selfshippers more. It's very telling when you try to make positivity posts that were made for us about yourself in the tags or comments, when it's not about you. Please remember that so many things in this world are accommodating specifically towards white people and not us as POC, we are often not included or accounted for or even considered in many situations. While this may sound silly in the context of selfshipping, for many of us this is also done for fun, as an escape, or even as a coping mechanism just as much as some of you guys may consider it to be as well. And it hurts when something made to make us feel included is once again overstepped on by white people, just like we deal with so often in our real lives. Please try to consider that this space also is for us POC, and think really hard if you may be overstepping and be mindful of what you say. So many of you make excuses for your ignorant actions and need to learn accountability instead.
(White people can rb but don't comment.)

lloyd 'survived on one meal per day for years' frontera would absolutely see sharing food as a love language and javier 'lived in the streets for months as a child' asrahan would be fluent in it
i do believe there is a point in their lives where they both heal from the trauma of going through severe food insecurity but neither of them ever quite really forget just how important food can be. and when the other shares their food with them, they appreciate it as the show of affection it was meant to be

it's been pointed out on here before that a lot of terf arguments are actually rooted in sexist idealology that feminists fought and died to unnormalise decades ago and that's its own kettle of fish but one thing i also find very frustrating about this so called 'radical' feminism is that it's so... defeatist? like the moment you categorically label an entire section of society as Bad and Inherently Evil then there's also the implication that nothing can be done about it, and it completely takes all accountability away. saying all men are evil is just another way of saying boys will be boys. he raped her because he's a man. he hit her because he's a man. he didn't listen because he's a man - it's almost offensively oversimplified. there's no point trying to fix this issue in society because men are just Like That, okay! so now what? it's not like they're going anywhere, so you just accept that 50% of the population are evil and will forever treat you terribly and there's nothing to be done about it bc they're biologically predisposed to it? like is that fr the argument here? you're soooo radical for that

fans have spent more than two years openly talking shit about how boring and unattractive and useless and stupid Colin is and criticizing Luke Newton at every turn for every single thing he does to the point where he has SAID that people take out their frustrations about Colin on him and then he gets asked how he hopes the fans will react to his season and he replies that he hopes they live up to the hype and that he meets our expectations, like this man is kind and thoughtful and cares so much. he's not the Colin we *deserve*, but he is the Colin that we *need*

i really don't like the "religion is a tool, some people use it for good, some people use it for bad" thing because it's so... passive and individualistic. the problem isn't the religion, it's the Bad People using religion in a Bad Way. it has no accountability for objectively bad structural and systemic issues. it has no empathy or nuance for cult members, who i'm not going to say are all uwu innocent or don't do legitimate harm but are often victims themselves, and a lot of people would do better if they knew better but like you don't just choose to join a cult one day you can't just choose to snap out of one either. like, jehovah's witness is not a neutral thing that some people use for good and some people use for bad. it's a cult. they use cult tactics to keep people trapped and dependent on them. there are doctrinal and structural and systemic issues that are harmful. i hate this idea that it's solely a personal, individual issue if someone gets sucked into a cult or high control religion. i hate the idea that individual people are pulling these beliefs out of thin air because they're Simply Just Bad People and not because some religions have actual systemic issues. of course there are people that just want to hurt others but some people legitimately believe this is the best way to be. and that doesn't absolve them of their harm but if we treat it like it's only an individual issue these cults and high control religions have free reign to continue doing harm.
