You know that feeling as a kid, the one where you can’t wait to grow up. When does that actually happen? When do you grow up? Is it when you have kids? Is being responsible for things tinier and younger than you when you finally feel like an adult? Can parents confirm or deny that for me. Or is it when you go the gas station and clean them out of all of their ice cream and no one but your bank account can tell you no.
When do you start feeling like an adult? Curious minds would like to know

Under the impression somehow that if i simply complain loudly enough to the universe about being single something will happen
Not how the world works
Still mad it's not working

Do you think they'll keep peddling this 'fantasy boyfriend' image when Harry hits his thirties? I might be wrong but wouldn't it become less and less appealing as he ages? His fandom is out of control and are always making up stories about sleeping with him and people will automatically believe them, given Harry's image. They usually admit to lying after but fans will still treat it as truth because obviously they want the stories to be real. When he was in Australia last year and fans said he was picking them out from the crowd to go backstage after the show and sleep with him (someone from his team later posted a vid to show him getting in a car with his team and leaving the venue immediately after he left the stage, and the fans admitted to lying after) it made it to some tabloids. Tabloids tend to post fandom chatter. If this kind of stuff is still happening when he's in like his earlier 30s and he still has young fans making up rumors, wouldn't it result in major backlash? Basically, would his image he has now still work in 5 years? When all his peers are maybe getting married and having kids? I know that in reality not everyone settles down but people tend to judge public figures more harshly.
This anon makes me feel old for a few different reasons. One is the way you talk about early 30s as being too old for being a pop star and people being attracted to you is really personally challenging for me.
But the other is that it's becoming clearer and clearer to me that the base cultural assumptions of the life of a touring musician have changed. For most of my life it has been taken as a given that most male touring musicians are having a lot of sex, including with much younger women. And asking about a male touring musician 'what will he do when his peers all settle down and have kids' doesn't really make much sense. It's not that nobody has kids (although if they're going to continue to tour their lives are going to continue to be unsettled) - but that someone who doesn't is hardly going to stick out.
Now I do think that things have changed a bit for touring musicians. I think that the combination of the small wins we've had against rape culture and the massive increase in surveillance now everyone is carrying a recording device at all times, has changed the dynamic. But it seems to me that the cultural assumptions have shifted far more than the reality could have. Which is all to say - unless he comes out as gay and as not attracted to women - there are going to be a lot of people who believe that Harry is having sex with younger women, no matter what is or isn't printed in the tabloids.
To your broader question - I think the fantasy boyfriend image can last for a really long time. Look at Rod Stewart or Cliff Richard. I think what happens over time is that it gets more immediate - it turns into nostalgia. People connect not so much with the artist as a fantasy boyfriend then (although I'm sure that doesn't entirely go away), but with the version of themselves who loved him when they were younger.
We don't know what's coming anon. And the questions you're asking shows that some things have changed. We don't know what the impact will be and how it will change how closeted touring musicians navigate the next twenty years. (Although the biggest change has been in the economics of the music industry and the economic incentive - at this level - to just keep touring).
I think there are ways that Harry might run out of road. But I don't think that the fundamental challenge will be about how to keep being a fantasy boyfriend into his 30s or 40s of 50s. His own desires for his life might be a challenge - and the fact that he wants to be able to express himself while also remaining a fantasy boyfriend may be a challenge. But the fantasy boyfriend - that's the solidest wheel on this vehicle - the lest likely to give trouble.

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)
At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.
Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

One thing that I've noticed with media criticism is that it falls on a spectrum. Starting with "That's a fair criticism", to "I don't agree with your point, but I understand where you're coming from", and all the way to "For the love of anything good, please go watch/play/read/listen to something else".

calling my lover "mine" but not in the way that my toothbrush or notebook are mine, mine in the way my neighborhood is mine, and also everybody else's, "mine" like mine to tend to, mine to care for, mine to love. "mine" not like possession but devotion.

DC x DP Prompt: Bruce is bad at emoting but at least ghosts are empathic (too bad bat kids are not)
Was reading Twincognito on AO3 when I stumbled across this gem again:
~
" “Danny, Tim. I was just…checking in. Is everything alright?” Curse his inability to make meaningful conversation when it wasn’t a life or death situation.
They glanced at each other and shrugged.
Then Danny hauled himself out of the bed and walked over to Bruce.
Bruce tried not to let too much excitement show on his face. "
~
Now I really want to read a story where Bruce adopts Danny post Meta trafficking and is being his usual emotionally constipated self. His kids keep getting mad at him because he's treating their new meta brother who was trafficked poorly (generally being stilted in conversation with him, walking away hurriedly mid-conversation, avoiding Danny when he's feeling really awkward, etc). They think Bruce is discriminating against Danny for being a civilian, meta, dealer's pick, but really it's just Bruce being horribly socially awkward. Danny knows this because of ghost empathy and find the whole thing hilarious. The whole thing comes to a head with the Bat Kids staging an intervention in the Bat Cave.

When you meet your past lives but they're all ignoring you and freaking out over this one guy?
I've seen a few versions of this floating around with the different Leos and I wanted to have a go at doing one for Mikey. They're all collectively realising what a bus sized bullet they dodged by not ending up as messed up as Ronin

Big fan of when a character's grief/trauma/guilt manifests as physical symptoms. Big fan of characters keeping things so tight inside them that it makes them sick. Big fan of when the line blurs between a character's mental trauma and physical illness until it's hard to tell which is which anymore.

What I love most about Gandalf big naturals is how much it eases my chest dysphoria. I can sleep without a shirt on now because of Gandalf Big Naturals. Knowing that the artist made the original image while recovering from top surgery and said the image was like a final parting gift from their boobs makes me feel even better about the image's effect on me. Men with big naturals makes me feel much more good about my body than those old posts on here that were like "trans men! Some men have pecs!!! So don't feel dysphoric <3". It's much more meaningful to see a hairy, bearded man with a huge H cup rack not letting his tits get in the way of his masculinity.
Most of all, Gandalf Big Naturals helped me love my body the way it is instead of hating something that's a part of me. Of course I still want top surgery but the fact that I can live with my own big naturals until then without wanting to guillotine them off is really important.
