You smile and accept their offer. You stay close to Melissa the entire time and vice versa. They don’t stay long though, they go to leave after they run into Janine. “You can come with us hun.” Melissa says and she lights up when you accept. You’re glad you packed a bathing suit, you knew there was a pool and packed one just in case you get time to swim.

You come out of the bathroom in your bikini but with a little beach dress covering you. You two walk down to the pool and meet Barb there. They find some lounge chairs and order drinks. You put your towel on your chair and take your dress off, revealing your body in a bikini. Melissa is sipping on her drink when she sees you take your dress off and she chokes and starts coughing. You go and gently pat her upper back and rub and Melissa’s face goes red and her breath hitched. Melissa has a hell of a time trying to keep it together and try not to stare too much when you’re swimming in the pool. She feels like life is testing her when you climb out with the ladder, with your hair and body all wet and you walk towards where they are to get your towel. “No we were just going to walk around a bit but that can wait, come sit.” She says and gets a look from her sister and Melissa sends her a glare. You look and see that there isn't another chair around and before you do or say anything, Melissa grabs your waist and pulls you down to sit on her lap. You freeze and Melissa wraps her hands around your waist and smiles.

The more into the night it gets, the more drunk you and her get. At one point you guys are walking to get drinks and you stumble a bit and crash right into Melissa, and she’s tipsy too and she stumbles back into a wall. She freezes and blushes like crazy when she sees that she’s trapped between you and a wall. You look up at her to apologise but freeze when she’s already looking at you and she licks her lips when she looks down at yours. You lean in and kiss her and her whole brain freezes. You go to pull away when you realise she isn’t kissing back, but then she pulls you back in and kisses you back. The cameras caught all of it.

The next morning you, Melissa and Barb are sipping energy drinks to help ease the hangover. When you all step out of the elevator, Melissa wraps her arm around your waist and pulls you to her and kisses the side of your head and you smile at her. The entire Abbott crew saw as you catch up with them.

“Um, what was that?” Janine asks you both.

“What was what?” Melissa asks. And they all know not to question it further, but they still all smile at the two of you. As you guys walk out, you pass by a camera and Melissa looks up at it and smiles. She got her girl.

It's kind of amazing that a horny game like Nikke actually included stuff like Cyberpsychosis. Nikkes going insane or committing suicide if they are reminded too much that they are actually full-conversion cyborgs. The reason why they don't have a lot of cool gadgets like built-in thrusters or weapons. And then you have someone like Snow White who replaced a large chunk of her body with enemy robot parts.

Nikke is this really cool thing to have Existing in the space, even if I don't play it anymore, because of how charmingly unbalanced it is as a whole, making the charming parts of it all the more apparent.

It's got barebones gameplay, the seams of which burst the moment you do high level content and realize there's not much it can do due to its limited concept. Combat rarely translates to whatever is going on in any story thematically, being thus gameplay being more of an abstraction. There is a gulf and an ocean of power between fellow characters of the same rarity, meaning a max rarity character might do absolutely fuck all while another one, with the same odds, might snap the game in two with ease. It's story is absolutely nothing to write home about. It's a setting that can be best described as "self-indulgent incel nice guy heaven", where your character is The Only One to be nice to all these poor second class citizen superpowered voluptuous supermodel living weapons with tits two times your head and asses big and heavy enough to easily crush cars. Everything jiggles. It's so insanely predatory with its flash sales after every little thing you do.

And yet, the basic story it tells, it tells well. It's fun. It's entertaining. It knows what it is, and it has fun with itself, but it doesn't throw all pretense, either. It walks the razor-edge thin line between having a goof and telling a story with emotional depth. What it doesn't have in complexity or originality, it makes up for in sheer moment-to-moment, with good scenes, with good execution of things we've already seen. The showdown with Modernia lives rent free in my mind, Commander loading the Vapaus round, as Modernia or Marian, no way of telling, begs them to put down the weapon, because she's already back to normal, Commander shooting, and Modernia catching it with her teeth, and then growling the most guttural threat with freshest purest fury: "You shot me. Your really shot me! Shikikan!" and then drilling Commander right through the chest. And everything that happens after in that scene. It's got interactions out the wazoo, both mundane and touching. It has music that goes from "background music that really works" to "handcrafted for the moment and the character in its excellence". I think it's because Nikke knows what it is, but doesn't reach the self-mockery rung of the ladder. It knows what it's doing, and it's still sincere about it, even if it dares have fun at its own expense sometimes.

So, with that on the table, the take on Cyberpsychosis present in Nikke is incredibly powerful as a narrative tool because it tells you just how much of a jury-rigged slapdash product Nikke are. They are not cutting edge technology, they are literally something they pumped out quick as can be while telling everyone in the world that's still alive that they are cutting edge technology. And all, all of the safeguards are ultimately subject to willpower and perspective. Some Nikke go insane if they are too machine-like. Snow White has basically rebuilt herself over and over hundreds of times in her forever war. Nikke cannot aim at humans, so Crow instead puts a steel plate on the ground and ricochets her bullets off of those to shoot Commander successfully. Aiming is something you do with your senses normally, right? Rose figured out that she can just wear a blindfold and convince herself that what she's slashing is not a human, but a Rapture, and that's how she disemboweled and killed her Commander. Just by not seeing and fervently believing.

It's really, really cool how they go about it.

you'd feel immense joy having her come up for a stupid item return that is against policy because she would absolutely never bend for it no matter how bitchy the customer got. not because she cares about you really but she'd be damned to go against policy for literally anything

karlach - literally so chill that you forget she's a manager until she has to call you to her office which freaks you out because you know you've been extremely lax around her and you forgot she actually has to do shit about that but it's actually just to give you your next raise. you love her and she loves you

shadowheart - when you first work with her you find her insanely intimidating and a little bitchy but after a few shifts you kind of get Why she's like that. wouldn't be a favorite manager but you'd probably sympathize with why she buys wine after her shift every night. if you're lucky enough to hang with her out of work you get special privileges (as in she doesn't scold you for standing still for 3 minutes like she does the others)

gale - nice, but unlike wyll who has a balance between pleasant chats and doing work, gale will literally stand there and accidentally force you to actually stop focusing on what you're working on to have a conversation with him. that can be a good thing, but then you're behind and another manager gets grumpy about it. chill guy but you never actually see him do much for his job. how did he even get to this position???

astarion - call HR.

halsin - dude knows how to run a place. he schedules everyone perfectly and there's always a feeling of harmony as you work together to get projects done. he's friendly but focused. he doesn't care if you don't finish your projects he assigns you so long as you were trying your best, but he would be a little disappointed if it happened too often

i feel like he'd definitely be the manager who actually gives the customer whatever they want even if you said you couldn't though 💀 he wouldn't be mad at you for saying no but he'd make you look like a jackass to the customer

minthara - i actually don't know her so idk but from what i gather i would say also call HR

withers - he's been with this company so long that he knows where literally everything is and every single specific policy and how to solve everything. he doesn't talk much and he doesn't really tell you what to do, he expects you to figure it out and leave him alone unless you need to ask where the most obscure item of all time is to help a customer. genuine lifesaver in those circumstances though

jaheira - the mom manager. checks on you when she notices you're clearly not feeling well. will cover any shift without complaints. you feel safe with her. she handles any difficult task because she doesn't feel like explaining to you how to do it, which is nice but as soon as you have no choice but to do it on your own you don't know how

connie vs catra: falling in love with a hero

so one thing in SPOP that reminded me of SU is when Catra gets upset and angry at Adora for needing to sacrifice herself in order to save the world. something very similar to this happens in SU where Connie gets upset at Steven for turning himself in to the Diamonds, so that he can prevent everyone else from getting hurt.

and i wanted to compare these two scenarios and talk about why this kind of conflict worked with connverse, but not c//a.

1. Past Relationship And Hypocrisy

Connie and Steven had a healthy relationship prior to this incident. Connie was always supportive of Steven and quite honestly, was one of the very few people who had no expectations for him based on his mother.

the Crystal Gems constantly talked about Rose and knowingly or unknowingly put pressure on Steven to live up to her image. Greg often mentioned Rose too, and while he may not have intended to make Steven feel pressured, that was the outcome.

Connie, on the other hand, saw Steven for who he was - a 14 year old kid who had way too many expectations to live up to. she served as Steven's rock and his connection to human life, letting him goof off and relax like he should. she listened to him when he was feeling troubled, and assured him that she would always be there to support him. Connie made Steven feel loved and understood.

they also made a promise to always fight together after Pearl tries to pressure Connie into sacrificing herself for Steven. Steven is clearly uncomfortable with this and doesn't want Connie to act like his bodyguard and put herself in danger.

so it makes complete sense that Connie felt hurt and betrayed when Steven decided to do exactly that and sacrifice himself to save her and the rest of beach city. it makes sense that Connie was worried sick about Steven after he surrendered himself.

Connie feeling upset about this situation makes sense because she actually cares about Steven. she always has.

meanwhile Catra constantly used Adora's fears and insecurities against her, even when they were on the same side and especially when they were enemies. Catra made Adora feel worthless for existing, she made Adora feel like a failure.

Catra actively and knowingly contributed to Adora's self-sacrificial complex and her habit of putting everyone else's safety above her own. and then she's surprised that Adora wants to sacrifice herself to save the world. wow. who would have thunk it?

Catra has absolutely no right to act like she cares about Adora after all this. and she certainly has no right to get mad at Adora for doing something Catra herself conditioned her to do.

it makes no sense especially because the show acts like the previous seasons never happened. neither Catra nor Adora nor anyone else brings up the fact that Catra was one of the main contributors to Adora's hero complex and her insecurities. the show just glosses over that and acts like Catra being upset about all this is tragic and sympathetic.

2. Expressing Anger In A Healthy Manner

Connie is upset but she communicates her feelings to Steven in a calm manner. she tells him that what he did hurt her feelings. she is obviously angry and upset, but she's also visibly trying to keep it together and not let her anger get the best of her.

i also think that Steven kinda messed up when he replies to Connie's "i'm hurt" with "no you're not". he decided that as long as no one was physically hurt, there was no problem. he didn't stop to think about how this might have affected Connie emotionally. (i'm not hating on Steven btw, he was in a pretty tough situation himself and was just happy that everyone was safe and alive. this is a situation where both of them were in the right and it was just a complicated issue to navigate.)

basically, Connie deals with this situation more maturely than some adults might have. she felt hurt and betrayed, but she didn't use that as an excuse to hurt Steven. she said what she wanted to say and then she left to give her mind some clarity.

also she does this AFTER Steven returns home safely.

Catra, on the other hand?

she screams at Adora, accuses Adora of picking favorites and pushes her to the ground. Catra is supposedly in her 20s at this point, and she still hasn't learned to express her anger in a healthy manner. she says once that she was working on her anger issues and that's it. we never see her try, we never see any improvement.

and then Catra just abandons Adora because “she couldn't bear to watch Adora sacrifice herself”. Catra didn't just leave because she needed some time to cool off, she was basically willing to abandon Adora and let her die.

3. Clear Motives

Connie's feelings and motives are clear from the get-go. she was worried about Steven putting himself in danger, and she was angry and upset that he broke their promise and her trust.

Catra though?

first she's mad that Shadow Weaver called her a distraction. then she's concerned about Adora's choice to sacrifice herself. and finally, she's upset that Adora doesn't like her in a romantic way.

two of these were very self-centered motives. it's hard to believe that Catra was just concerned about Adora's safety when she's whining about how Adora chose Shadow Weaver over her, as if this was some kind of competition. and it just comes off as the writers shoving in as many reasons as possible for the viewers to sympathize with Catra, rather than writing an organic conflict.

in conclusion, if you want to write a relationship involving a self-sacrificial hero, do it like Steven Universe did. make it make sense instead of shoving in hypocritical conflict.

After reading this note, several deductions can be made about our antagonist's character right off the bat, which in season 3 we see to be accurate assumptions

First of all the sending of the note "release me" constantly at the beginning of every reset presumably for the past several ones gives us a base line of a few things A) whoever wrote it is trapped B) they really want out C) whomever was to recive the note presumably can help with this D) this person is either very angry and resorting to formal wording as a form of passive aggression or they are simply a very formal person Had this not been the case they would have written "let me out" or "get me out" or even "help me"

Now for the post-corruption portion

"You are free of Enderian"

1) this person knows Enderian 2) This person knows at least of Icarus 3) They intentionally have been sending these to Icarus 4) despite being trapped they have some way to know what is going on 5) their particular view of Enderian is not favorable it's not overtly antagonistic however this is the one part of the not that can be read as at least partially sympathetic to Icarus

Finally "Now focus on your purpose"

1) they don't see Icarus as anything but a means to an end 2) tone wise it feels like both the chastisement of a child and an order to an unthinking being 3) "your purpose" seemingly refers to the prior statement of "release me" either implying that the writer believes Icarus is only here to get them out of wherever they are or that Icarus's sole purpose in life is to aid and assist them and 4) the use of "now" after the previous statement implies they view the corruption arc as simply something that was inhibiting the progression of them being let out

First off once again SIR THAT IS YOUR CHILD YOU MOTHERFUCKER-

In conclusion deductions that can be made from this note with the knowledge that i now hold are as follows: Fable wanted out of purgatory, they issued Icarus with the fulfillment of this task and saw the corruption arc as merely a speed bump on the road of getting his ass outta there. Fable is a pretentious douchebag. Like everyone else in his life Fable is constantly using his own son as a means to achieving his end goal.

Other notes:

Had Fable's motivations not been his underlying obsession with keeping what he believes is "his" even when it disrupts and disregards the rules of the universe and the sanctity of life he likely wouldn't have given 2 shits about Icarus.

If we view Fable's interactions with others through the lense of him thinking of those of the overworld as "his" his people his creations his world then it starts to become clearer that he only sees individuals as tools and for their potential usefulness to him. And if we want to take this view even further we could even say that he at least on some level viewed Alerion giving a place for his deceased mortals to restate something akin to how a child views their sibling stealing a toy from their room, which then implies that the war of the gods is just a big temper tantrum where Fable hurt his brother then his other siblings stepped in and went "hey woah man not cool you can hit Al dude he is literally just playing the game" to which Fable's response was to hurt them as well and now he's just got out of timeout and basically started blaming his parents for everything wrong in his life which is so silly goofy of him until you remember that these were people he was upset about his brother "stealing" from him and it becomes less silly goofy.

"But Lilly!" I hear you say because you've totally read this far, mhm definitely "If he doesn't actually care about the dead people, then why does he act nice? Why is his charisma stat so high?" Charles hugged the youtuber greeting her, while mouthing to (Y/n) "shut up, Mickey Mouse" the nickname referring to where (Y/n) had wore a Mickey mouse costume when she was a child on Halloween.

"What happened to 'hello?'—'How are you?'—'My name is—' " (Y/n) clapped back to the Monacan after breaking the hug with her childhood friend, "yeah, like eversince he became a multi millionaire he acts like he can ask women whatever he wants" Emma said teasing the Monacan driver who just seem to roll his eyes at his friend's antics "oh I swear to God I will put a fucking pencil on your eyes, stop rolling your eyes, here take my camera, your bad vibes is like bumming out my entire existence right now" Emma handed her camera to the 25 year old driver

"What am I gonna do with that— omg you're filming a vlog!" the older Ferrari driver excitedly said as he snatched the camera from the girl's hand "Vlog takeover—Hey Carlos!" Charles singsonged to the camera while calling out to the Spanish driver who's making his way to the younger girls who's conversing and Charles who's putting his literal face to the camera, the Spanish driver hugged Emma "Hi Emma!—what is Charles even doing?" the Spanish looked at his Monacan team mate with judging eyes

"I'm doing a vlog takeover and say hi to the camera" Charles said to his team mate putting the camera quite close to the Spanish driver's face "Hello Everyone!" Carlos said to the camera rolling his eyes to his friend in contrast to his smile that was displayed on his lips, while the two older drivers continued to talk and goof around the camera, the younger girls was now Infront of (Y/n)'s Ferrari car with (Y/n) teaching Emma the basics of F1 cars "Chassis is the main body of the car which the engines and suspensions are attached, Power unit is the term for engine, Sidepods keeps the car as tight and possible—" "Wait hold on, is there any safety feature in here?" Emma questioned (Y/n) slightly interrupting her discussion "I was about to get to that, this bad boy right here is Halo " (Y/n) touched the bar that is positioned on the top of the driver seat "Keeps us drivers safe whether there's an incident occuring, aside from the helmet" (Y/n) explained to her friend "So you ready?" She continued, Emma looked at her confused

"Ready for what?" She asked "YOU'RE DRIVING AN F1 CAR! PLEASE PLEASE" (Y/n) pleaded giving her friend the biggest puppy eyes she could master "WHAT?! no, nope, no way" Emma walked backwards as to run off from her friend but (Y/n) gets a hold of her wrist "Give me an acceptable reason first." The Brunette argued

"Because Ferrari. wants. clout." (Y/n) said to her childhood friend in a serious tone but still smiling while the nervous vlogger was looking at the white and red car unsure what to reply to her "what's in it for me?" Emma muttered as she huddled closer to the girl, I mean why would she agree immediately if she just saw her life flash through her eyes while her friend was explaining earlier, there must be an exchange for her friend's deal.

" i mean Ferrari will be paying for your extended 3 days stay here in France" The Ferrari driver offered confidently, she knew her friend would agree to this for mountful of reasons, her right hand was now offered to the now grinning brunette "deal " Emma spoke with ease as chuckles escaped from her lips, she has to admit that this was a dumb idea but anything she will do to let her stay here in France for a few days and to just avoid being in Los Angeles, a place she wanted to avoid for too long now.

Charles and Carlos

While the two girls were currently in the Ferrari motorhome, the two older Ferrari drivers are on their way to the McLaren's humble abode not until they came across two alpha Tauri drivers who was currently filming a video for Yuki's YouTube channel.

"YUKI" Carlos screamed catching the attention of the Alpha Tauri drivers, "He runs like Cookie Monster whenever it sees a cookie" Charles spoke to the camera while displaying Carlos who seem to be now carrying the Japanese Driver

"OMG, PUT ME DOWN!" Yuki screamed "my son, how I missed you" Carlos had put down Yuki who has a clear discomfort look on his face "wow, like I wasn't even here" Pierre said to the Spanish driver who was clearly just paying attention to the younger alpha tauri driver, "You're not as valuable as Yuki, stop acting like you're all that Mate" Charles entered the conversation with the camera still intact with his hand and is beside Pierre "Oh really? not like you're just as important to (Y/n), actually yesterday, she said that she'd choose Daniel over your stupid ass" Pierre said pretending to do a hair flip on his hair

But before Carlos could reply to the other french driver's 'joke' Daniel and Lando approach the four

"Hey guys" Daniel was the first one who spoke from the McLaren drivers followed by Lando snatching Emma's Camera "Let me take over, Leclerc!"

"I'm about to—" Charles said trying to reach the camera from lando who was now running far from him, "Hi guys" Lando said posing for the camera with Daniel also joining to pose "so this is the feeling when you're a vlogger—" before Lando could even finish the sentence a sudden voice was heard from speakers around the paddock "This is Ferrari's (Y/n) (Y/l/n) speaking to the mic, can I call for the attention of Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz—"

"do you know who holds your Camera em? .. Yeah, unfortunately it's in the McLaren motorhome .. how did you even know that?! .. Gps, the camera costs me 500 dollars and memories ain't wasting that money for just someone to steal it ..."

"Ehem" (Y/n) clears her throat "And also callingfor McLaren's Lando Norris or Daniel Ricciardo, or whoever holds Emma Chamberlain's Camera, please go to Ferrari's Garage, thank you and goodbye" (Y/n) added walking out of the room and heading to the Ferrari's Garage

"I'm Nervous, what if I die?!, who's gonna feed my kids?!" Emma panicked, she was now using her phone to vlog slightly regretting giving Charles her vlog camera

"You'll be fine, You can do this!" (Y/n) cheered for her childhood friend while Emma was still asking herself what did she do to have gone through this point, as they enter the Ferrari garage they immediately saw Lando, Daniel, Charles and Carlos joking around with Emma's Camera, the four was greated with a now racing suit Emma fuming about them being careless about her camera "I swear if you break this Camera, you will never ever see the light of day" Emma ripped her camera from Lando's hand as she gave it to (Y/n)

"Hey not fair"

"If we were careless, (Y/n) wouldn't even holding it right now"

"True"

"I saw Lando almost drop it—"

"DANIEL—"

Despite the ongoing protests of the drivers, Emma rode the Ferrari car, a camera span to her face and her flashing a heart before gearing it up, she held her breath and remembered the things that (Y/n) said to her, but damn she forgot

"if I die, then I die" Emma said to herself as she start the car.

(Y/n) heard all of it she couldn't help but laugh at what her friend said, "She is going to die" Charles said to her laughing as they monitored Emma through a tv.

I would love to request an Child ghost!reader and the gang, basically child reader got murdered when they were using the VR and their soul got stuck into the game.

Their soul being so GORY AND DISTORTED, like an arm is missing, one eye is like hanging out and their head has an hole. Reader can get invisible like a ghost and move things with only their mind, and they are very quiet and just observes, rarely get mad or anything, but when they snap (for example: Because of jax's pranks) they start throwing things around dim the lights and scream, and lets put like, Reader's screams are like LOUD as hell, basically like an ghost tantrum.

So basically Child reader is just an sad messed up lil goof who needs comfort and therapy.

going to take a different approach to writing this one, since i feel bad about being selective of cast/multi characters today, so! rather than having divided segments like usual, its going to be a group thing! hope thats alright! going to be the last request of this batch them imma make something to eat rq for dinner then get back to writing YAHOO!

when you joined the digital circus, you were already very obviously different from the rest of the gang. even if your gore was toned down thanks to your body being digitized; the programming seemed to struggle with altering your body into something unique... strange... it also seems your body is fighting back against the programming of the world, seemingly trying to restore itself. The effect makes you almost look like you're glitching, or even abstracting

Caine doesnt immediately pick up on your presence, i feel like its in his programming to be aware when a new member joins the circus, but for some reason he didnt notice you until he saw you, or someone brings you up to him

It was Ragatha, who was trying to get answers from him. Who's kid was this? Is it really fair to let a kid be stuck here? Obviously she knew Caine couldnt do anything about it now that you were here, nor did he have any hand in you putting on the headset.

Except... you correct them and say you didn't put on any headset, you were trapped in it.

Of course you're trapped, just like the rest of us, Jax says

None of them immediately believe you try to tell them you're a ghost. Except of course, Kinger, who reasons that that's why you look the way you do; and Gangle, who in my opinion probably finds interest in the supernatural.. or maybe that's just me projecting onto her. Who knows. But the point still stands, almost everyone doesn't believe you.

Not long after, Jax accidentally ropes you into prank that was originally intended for Zooble, I dont think Jax would go as far as to bully a child.... well... actually no, he seems like the type to bully kids on roblox.

The prank wasnt planned for you, you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. You open a door, and are immediately greeted with a fake snake lunging out at you. You scream, more so out of surprise and fear than anger. It does turn into anger when Jax laughs at you, still finding some kind of joy from the prank getting at least someone. Your scream rises, causing nearly everyone to cover their ears, the rest were not there in the room but would come rushing to see what the hell was going on

I think it would be that instance as well as a few other; namely ones where you became invisible and started removing one of Zooble's limbs after they (unintentionally) said something a little too mean to you. The idea of you being a ghost was further cemented when both Gangle and Ragatha watched you literally phase through a wall. But hey at least someone (Jax) starts laying off of you when it becomes clear you weren't lying

There's mixed feelings, a lot negative. I mean, you're just a kid and you're. Well, a ghost. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that something happened to you. Whether or not you remember the details of your death when you became a ghost, or after joining the digital world, is all up to you

Caine, as mentioned before in posts where the reader is a child, tries to be a father figure. He's not the best, since he's programmed to be a ring master, but he definitely tries his best. I like to think he tries to read you bedtime stories when the digital world simulates 'night'

Pomni, who I totally didn't forget, tries to overcome her fear of you and your ghostly powers, ultimately becoming sympathetic you and your situation. Not only was your life cut short, but you were trapped here too, you didn't even get to roam the world in the afterlife. Interactions with her are awkward but there's an effort to try to bring you some form of comfort

Jax, after he stops pulling jokes on you cant deny that he doesnt find you creepy. I think, though, he would ask you if you want to help him scare some of the other members. Whether you be offended by the concept or not is also up to you, since I'm not sure if you wanted the reader to be sensitive regarding their current predicament or not

Ragatha goes into full big sister mode, even before it's confirmed that you're a ghost. Sure, she's a little put off by your ganky and gorey looks, but her heart aches for you. Similar to Caine she tries to do general child care activities with you, perhaps if you let her, she would do your hair and make you dresses

Kinger will take a while to warm up to you, but I think after some time would start to open up to you, usually it's best to interact with him when he's already in a calmer state. He already gives me dad vibes that I cant pin down... but he would tell you stories of his past (in house) adventures and some funny stuff that has happened over his time in the digital world

Zooble is going to need a moment to get over the invisible dismemberment thing... as well as Zooble being Zooble and needing some time to warm up to people in general... Not much to be said, yet...

Gangle would offer to lend you some art supplies... kids like arts and crafts stuff, right? Thats her logic, at least, and if it means you have an outlet for your emotions then that would be great!

Overall you now have a funky found family, so hey, at least things aren't totally... terrible.. Unfortunately with them stuck in the digital world they can't do much to get you justice, if you let them know you were murdered. But rest assured if your killer somehow gets trapped in there with them and you recognize them, they have your back

I feel bad for Starlo. (pt. 9)

Star's the Papyrus (both are idealistic & seen as naive) of this game (Martlet is another possible parallel), even though he's got similarities with Undyne too. No matter how broken Ceroba seemed he asked himself WHY she did what she did and I think that's SUPER important.

Ceroba didn't do this. Her first instinct was to be harsh (after being harsh with him even BEFORE he attacked Clover):

called his personality "damaged" before this scene

... you never asked yourself WHY he did the whole sheriff act.

.... you never asked WHY he didn't want to grow up. If it was a coping mechanism, if he wanted to help his community in a way he couldn't as a farmer? It was never on her mind.

Yes he has baggage but he's dealing with it all while uplifting others, Ceroba has baggage but is well taken care of by Star and at least has him, he has no one but himself and his optimism to pull him out of negative feelings, and still gets insulted.

Yeah Ceroba's been through stuff but apparently it's been some time since Chujin passed and Kanako fell down, she should have at least started to support Star emotionally like he's been supporting her (sure, he did so with distractions, but as he said "aren't distractions what's best for all of that?" He did his best). Problem is she DIDN'T realise he was ever struggling with self worth and only assumed he was goofing off. Either that or she did nothing about it aka was too occupied with her own problems (which are valid but still... she should have tried at least a little) Cer's character flaw is being too stubborn and devoted to Chujin. She trusted him blindly and wholeheartedly. Everything else came in 2nd place. This is clear as day.

It hurts knowing Ceroba could never respect Starlo the way she still does her husband. Not saying she shouldn't admire Chujin, but the way she sees Star as a goofy manchild whose lifelong passion can go "too far," the way she sees all this Wild East stuff as him "just having fun," the way she thinks that only someone whose brain isn't developed would ever consider dating him just... ticks me off, tbh. That's why I think the guy needs someone who will be gentle and patient with him, even if that other person is going through tough times.

She DID call Starlo the best sheriff she's ever known (honestly the only sweet moment between them in pacifist, but it is very brief, especially in neutral where he just gets cut off; also I hope she was being genuine here) and said how everyone adored him (but hated his persona, which I've already covered: basically they either hated 'North Star' as a whole, which I hope isn't true, or just how excited he was to meet Clover, which makes no sense to me; already covered it as well)

Bonus: Dina didn't know who Star really was or what he looked like, not before the end credits rolled (when he shows up as himself & she's also seen there; makes sense that he finally came clean to her):

So he's literally been playing this role 24/7, ever since she became the bartender; ever since this town started to exist. It's impressive how he could keep up an act AND use this fake accent for so long

Bonus #2: Star was SUPER worried about Clover's safety; that's what REALLY upset him (he cares about that child sm). THAT's what drove him off the edge (unless he naturally has a temper, i don't think this is it tho). Either way, he was way more patient w Ceroba than I think most would have been in that situation. Sure he snapped a few times, but there was a good reason to. He still TRIED to reason with her. Why did he attack? Worried for Martlet & Clover. I honestly think Star's the type to only get super angry if someone he loves is in danger (minus the stuff that happened which led him to cracking)

OKAY SO FIRST OFF I'M NOT AN EXPERT ON PRINTING STUFF. the (very) short version is, purples and pinks don't show up well in the most common printing method, and that "most common printing method" is used in edible printing, like what's used for cupcakes and cakes

(most printing uses a color model called "CMYK," if you want to look it up)

so!! maybe you can use the images above the cut and it'll be fine, or maybe you need to give the printers these versions. these colors were picked because it lets the images turn out like the ones above the cut, NOT how they're shown here:

i'll find out if giving the printers either version works or what in a few months, and i'll update this section then (or sooner if someone fills me in), since i'm planning on getting myself a Lucifer ducky cake for my birthday :3

i'm including versions with circles because many cake designs are circular -- including the one Lucifer used in-show lol and what i plan to print -- and the circle is placed relative to where i intended the image to crop and how i intended its composition. (if you'd like the circle to be placed a bit different, you can do so using the square version)

i included a bunch of variations where Lucifer's not holding anything, if you want to add a number for someone's age for a birthday cake or your own object or some phrase or whatever you please

again, idk how printing works, so i might swap these out for the more vibrant versions depending on what i eventually learn. i'm just prioritizing these less bright versions basically so everyone remembers these are the intended / expected colors

if anyone wants to take a crack at making the image as show-accurate as possible, BE MY GUEST. SHORT VERSION IS, I DID A GOOF WHEN TAKING THE BASE IMAGE OUT OF PERSPECTIVE, SO IT CAN'T BE CROPPED TO LOOK HOW IT DOES ON THE CAKE LUCIFER CANONICALLY USES, WHAT WITH LUCIFER'S HAT AND ALASTOR'S EARS GETTING CROPPED OUT

(i wanted to make a "complete Lucifer hat and complete Alastor" version as well as a cropped version for the pedants [affectionate] out there. but the second version didn't work out when the time came 😔)

it'll probably take some artist's license to get everything to fit in a perfect circle, but here's two versions where i actually did the first step more correctly, using my program's "mesh transform" to get it circular

in the first image, Lucifer is more accurate, and Alastor is more accurate in the second, in case anyone wants to use these (no obligation; you can do your own thing if you'd prefer).

the mesh is still visible in the second image because i hadn't intended to keep the screenshot -- i just thought the mesh looked wild, so i screenshotted, but it was a lucky save since Alastor looks decent there. (it might also be preferable if you use a mesh with more points than in that screenshot)

again, some artist's license will likely be required to get them both looking good. have fun with it! i might try this project again in the future, but for now i'm done lol. (it'll probably be at least a few months or a few years if i do try again, and no guarantee that i will)

One of the most interesting contrasts to me between Lego parodies and Lego shows you're supposed to take semi-seriously is generally Lego parodies acknowledge that they're Legos. Lego Star Wars acknowledges that everyone's Lego; I vividly remember a scene where Luke gets his hand blasted off, freaks out briefly, then remembers he's a Lego minifigure and just puts his hand back on, for example.

With shows like Chima and Ninjago, it's basically just a story being told using Lego minifigures as a medium. There's no indication in Ninjago (or Chima that I remember) that the characters are actually Lego and Lego isn't just being used as an artistic medium, so to speak. There are of course exceptions to this (the Lego Movies being a good example of this; The Lego Ninjago Movie is a parody of Ninjago for example, which is one reason I find the complaints against it dumb lol) but generally, Lego seems to utilize properties they have a license to use for parody and properties they own to tell more serious stories with Lego characters being used as an artistic medium.

I 100% think it has to do with genre too. Lego parodies of properties they have a license to use are generally the goofy silly shenanigans normally associated with parody. They're something you can knock out in 20 minutes if you need a laugh. They don't require much suspension of disbelief because they're made to feel like you're watching little Lego people goof off.

Shows that are original Lego properties, such as Ninjago and Chima, still have comedy, because they're targeted at kids. However, you also still have an engaging storyline spanning seasons instead of shorts. They require more suspension of disbelief because Lego minifigures are being used as a medium through which to tell a story, there's no indication that the Lego people we see on screen are Lego minifigures in the universe the story takes place in.

Shows featuring properties that Lego has a license to use have a completely different vibe than properties Lego owns. It's really interesting to me and I like that there's a disconnect between the stuff Lego uses to make silly shenanigans type shows and the stuff Lego uses for more serious storylines because it allows you to know vaguely what to expect going into something (although Ninjago gets seriously dark at times and I will always be surprised by how dark it gets despite having watched the entire series and all the episodes currently released for Dragons Rising).

It's really funny to watch the group freak out when an insect flies into the room. Galuf had passed out when the insect flew in through the window that was right next to his face. The insect had flown right in front of his face and he could see its beady little eyes staring right back him

Lévis is using Galuf's unconscious body as a shield and Domina is hiding behind him. Kenny (who is also freaking out even with his lack of facial expressions) is trying to freeze the insect but Charles is yelling at him to not kill it because his mom taught him that all life is precious (Charles himself is hiding under a table)

Then Malcom walks in and gently cups the insect between his two hands and releases it outside (quite anti-climatic really) while the whole group hails him as their saviour (except Galuf who is still unconscious)

The group has sleepovers every Friday night so that they can goof off the whole night. The dorm room used is rotated every week and currently it is Charles' room and everyone is slightly unnerved by the number of painting he has of his mom

They usually play card games and gossip during these sleepovers but some card games have been banned due to previous incidents

One of these card games is UNO. Domina almost went on a rampage after being hit with a stack of four +4 cards. Charles had to teleport him somewhere else before he flooded the room all the while Lévis and Galuf were laughing their heads off

Domina and Levis are scarily good at old maid. The both of them are experts in reading people and manipulating them into taking the old maid card

Kenny is that one quiet kid that hangs at the back of the class and mostly goes unnoticed, so he has a front row seat to most of the drama within Walkis.

Lévis has a shit ton of connections within the school (chief of magic bureau’s son) so he’s got eyes and ears all around the school and the amount of tea he gets from this is astounding

Have you ever seen a group of six teenage boys sitting around in a circle shit talking almost everyone in the school? It’s so entertaining. There’s so much going on, everything is happening all at once and somehow all this drama is connected in someway.(god i want to join them so bad. I love listening to drama going on at my school but i don’t have the social skills to find people who are willing to spill the tea)

The gang like to play with Lévis’ hair(he surprisingly lets them). Domina usually just combs it out. Galuf is trying all sorts of weird ass hair styles and getting knots in Lévis’ hair (Lévis absolutely beats the shit out of him for that). Charles can do some basic hair styles like braids and ponytails but nothing really special but he likes to tend to Levis’ hair anyways (reminds him of when he used to play with his mom’s hair) Kenny and Malcom are surprisingly good at hair styling and often braid his hair and put it in really elaborate and pretty hair styles (where they attained this knowledge? We might never know)

One time, for April fools, the gang snuck into Kenny’s room and replaced his beanies with beanies with weird designs. One had bunny ears on it, another had one of their teacher’s face just printed on it, and another was neon green and looked like it was radioactive.

Kenny found it funny and kept all of them. He wears them to go out sometimes just to throw people off

The gang has once used Kenny’s magic to recreate Elsa’s frozen castle (does Elsa exist in this world? It does now). Charles’ then recreated the whole ‘let it go’ song and he looked majestic in the dress. He’s a surprisingly good singer as well

Once when they were walking around in the woods (searching for ingredients for potions class probably) they came across a lake and Malcom accidentally bumped into Domina and he fell into the lake. Everyone was laughing at Domina until he decided to retaliate by using his magic to drench them all as well. (Galuf ended up catching a cold)

Lovie isn’t as angelic as the gang mostly believes he is. Lovie is actually a really good manipulator. You know how Lévis did the whole thing of tricking Galuf? Yeah well he learnt his manipulating skills from someone and it’s his brother. Lovie doesn’t really manipulate others all that much but he will do it to secure his own interests but he probably won’t manipulate his or Lévis’ friends
