I've just been burnt too many times, i don't really expect anything from mainstream media At All—only indie content gets my unfiltered hype and hopes—and whenever things do shake up differently from what i thought, it's a nice surprise! cause the alternative is, This Mountain of Evidence and Development... and then oops get hit with the straightification beam on the last second.

i can honestly say, taking off my shipping goggles for a moment, bkdks platonic relationship has ended. it really ended two years ago, culminating when bkg took a bullet for him, and then was cemented when he apologised, you know, to trample down any doubts. there we go, narrative concluded! from rival to best friend. all loose threads tied in terms of their relationship. if that's how it had ended, how it had stagnated, remained in stasis, with this New Dynamic the new canon going into the final battle then show over. yeah. typical shonen bestie stuff. it would have ended and i would have gone "oh they were in LOVE fr" forever, but knowing that people who were like "this is what besties are like! this is what siblings are like!" also had as much of a claim to their interpretation as mine (even if i didn't personally agree w it lmao)

BUT IT DIDN'T STOP THERE and i have to ask why???? WHY is it more central i Don't Get It. i dont understand? i really dont get it cause.... why? bkg is important to deku, yes. other people are also important to deku (all might, his mom, his other friends, civilians, any lost pet he has to kill himself over cause he is a Good Caring Shonen Protag). that has been established for forever. so i don't rly understand the necessity to further highlight that One part of his personality (caring about kacchan) to motivate him into fighting the Big Bad Villain, when 1. he would've fought the villain anyway cause that's what heroes do, and 2. it could have been a generic "you hurt my friends!!" and like lump in more people there, like in the first war arc where several people got hurt (aizawa, gran torino, etc).

but No! you hurt that guy. that guy, that while he was dying, the villain, textually, explicitly says, "i am hurting you because it will make deku angry and sad, since you are his most important person" (that's almost a fucking quote im basically QUOTING here). and it's like, what? lmao wait. what?? why???

what is it building up towards?? i dont get it. it's not going to build up to the apology/their relationship being mended (what we thought would be the climax of the whole thing), cause that already happened. there's no "oh my god if kacchan dies he'll never get to say sorry!" stakes, or "oh my god if deku fails he'll never be able to be friends with kacchan again!" stakes, cause like, that already did happen though. i mean i know obviously in real life, you do things for people just for their sake, not because of what it will mean for your narrative arc. but this is a made up story and thus needs storytelling reasons for shit to happen. so what is the reason for deku needing to be pushed, needing to be backed into a corner, over kacchan dying? why did bakugo have to die (had to get FRIDGED, it's a trope and everything), if not so that his death would fuel dekus rage (which we were told explicitly was the reason why)? why, out of everyone on the battlefield, out of everyone in the CAST, did it have to be bakugo, the one to make deku Lose It?

i mean we know why, but still. what? is it really, textually, canonically That?

i just don't get it. and secretly, deep deep inside, i really hope we get to find out soon

ok ok ok so basically I sent you a buncha Yosuke Hanamura stuff lmao bc I misunderstood how the thing works but this will be so awesome and evil >:)

How I feel about this character I feel a lot of things about this fucking goober I relate to him a lot in the ways he interacts with others and just his generally low self esteem lmao. I rotate him in my mind a lot. currently playing the game to dissect him for myself lol. hes got an interesting character that can get exploded fairly easily, though I feel like this applies to almost every character in existence, I know im not even in the top 100 most unwell about Yosuke Hanamura or even persona 4 but I really like it alot. I want to make an insanely self indulgent power point about Yosuke Hanamura to show to my friends lol. hes just really relatable to me especially me as a younger guy. and hell even now I find myself in him lol. its a bit cringe but I am free as they say. I do have a tendency to project on characters a bit so it might be a bit of that lol...but hes just really neat to me his whole deal is interesting.

I really like the Yosuke Hanamura/p4 protagonist ship which is yeah. I also just really enjoy their dynamic tbh. they have each others backs through thick and thin, like even not as a romantic thing tbh I just really enjoy them being goofy teens together this applies to all their friends btw. the thing with shipping is im pretty open to what ever as long as its fun and not like weird bad. I like weird good stuff (like crack pairings, or fun rare pairs). i also have a tendency to latch onto a pairing I think is neat, which yah. it's Yosuke/p4 protagonist for me njofwreg. its fun to explore that I think. uh thumbs up I guess I dont know how to explain myself 💀

im a silly goober and I like seeing the entire investigation team interacting with each other, I like it when they get to hang out. like sure they end up being lil shits to each other sometimes but its not like actively malicious, its like play fighting to me...im still reading the manga and playing the games so im excited to see more interactions between everyone lol. I do like it when fanfics explore different dynamics between the gang it's fun. I feel like im talking in circles lmao. but I will say Yosuke and Chie fighting can be funny reminds me of my younger siblings mauling each other to death lol. Yosuke and Teddie are a goofy duo, rip Yosuke, he tends to be the butt of the joke. Yosuke and the portages relationship is always fun regardless of if its a ship or not lol...I wish I was bettering at remembering things im drawing a blank even though I had more to say dang it.

I dont know if I even really have an unpopular opinion about this guy? ill be honest most of my thoughts about him come out sounding like growling and barking bc words aren't real lol. I just think hes neat... i dont really talk to other people about him who are also into persona 4 that often, one person told me they call him "poor straight Yosuke" lmao. I dont know it's an unpopular opinion to read him through the lens of a closeted individual? I usually only hang out in a small space and do my own thing, with some other people's stuff I like because I think it makes sense...ourgh I'm kinda bad at this </3 writing things down in a cohesive manner...im sorry ya'll 💀

ok ive finished both eps 42 and 43 of kingoh now so heres my messy thoughts on things

as a disclaimer!!! this is not at all me saying that i dont like kingohger or that i think its a bad sentai show or anything like that! i really have loved kingohger and have had a lot of fun watching it!! i really love the characters and im going to miss them when its over. this is all just my personal opinion and relates to my own tastes in writing and such and im not at all trying to ruin peoples fun or stop people from enjoying the aspects that i dont really like. im not wanting to be mean or anything like that.

ok that out of the way. you would probably expect that as someone who really loves the different sibling relationships in toku shows and is really deeply moved by them to be more emotional about racles and gira but i just... have not. very early on in the show i was hoping so badly that we would get some parallels on the brothers and how they differ and that we could also have some parallels to the other sibling relationships in the show, gira with his little sister and brother and suzume and kaguragi vs gira and racles relationships. i had thought that exploring those parallels could be really interesting and good, and i still think that if they had chosen to explore that early on it wouldve been interesting and couldve also been used to have the reveal later on have more impact.

ive never really been a racles stan, although i do absolutely admire and enjoy his actors performance hes fantastic and has always done a great job in his role- but i dont like the sudden redemption happening. when the twist first happened i thought it was interesting and was thinking maybe it wouldve been motivated by racles being selfish, but i felt like episode 42 was very... idk the word. hollow maybe. we hadnt gotten any kind of hints that racles was actually a double agent or that he was doing things for giras or the peoples sake (so i dont really get people who say they knew it all along im sorry gnmgh) and its like. this again could have worked out better if there was some foreshadowing and hints to what was going on or at least some kind of build up. episode 43 kind of vaguely touches on how many people racles has gotten killed and how he says he wants to go down in history as the worst ruler ever and its like.... idk it feels like a retcon in a way to be like oh yeah btw all these horrible atrocities and war crimes he committed were actually for the good of the people! maybe im just being too much of a bleeding heart commie gmgmy but i do think there would have been more impact if racles actually HADNT been a double agent this whole time and if he actually had to face his actions and have some kind of change of heart while also not being totally 100% nice all of the sudden.

again i really did early on want more development on the brothers and wanted exploration of the contrasts between them as people, and i think both gira and racles actors are wonderful and did a great job in their roles. it makes me sad that i didnt.. really feel emotionally moved seeing the brothers scenes in these last two episodes and i think it just comes down to lack of build up and feeling like things are coming out of nowhere and rushed and like no actions have any real weight or consequences

like for example ive mentioned this before but the whole deal with yanma destroying the laptop and watching it youre going oh shit the whole kingdom is fucked he made this huge sacrifice. and then its totally fine a few episodes later. or how they kill the pink jester and in the moment its presented as this huge deal. and then shes fine. it feels like that just kind of continues to happen and its something that frustrates me because kingohger is really fun and has great concepts but then nothing holds any weight, the stakes you set up are meaningless when nothing actually has any consequences

and to just say it again. i AM enjoying kingohger. im having a lot of fun with it! i like this show and its characters a lot! which is part of why my brain notices these things and why i want to analyse it because i can see how i wish it could be better in certain aspects. i really like this show but i dont really agree when i see people saying that its a masterpiece of sentai writing

also i really wish suzume hadnt become another victim to genre typical misogyny where it feels like her character just revolves around racles and liking him and it feels like we lost so much potential with her character i still love her and her actress but early on i was so excited for her having some kind of depth but well.

and another thing i was thinking of as i was watching ep 43 was... why have all of the kings of shugodom thru history be secretly against dugded. it again feels like something that would have more weight and impact to it if there were some kings who really were on dugdeds side and then giras dad decides that hes not going to fall in line and is going to actually do something to try and save his people.

idk as i finish typing this i kind of feel like im being nitpicky and i really dont want to be a downer or ruin peoples fun 😭 i really do like this show i promise thats why i think about this stuff. thanks if u read this mwah

So, remember that long ass post i made abt noah thy creature characterization bc i was ill. Here to back up on my claims btw. Spoilers below, this is info i gathered from regis altares stream as i cannot play the game </3

I... i kind of miss early access thy creature. The story and the flow was just, so much more natural and endearing and calm. Like you had time to savor the residents and get to know them. There wasn't a rush. This isn't to say the new version is bad, I just enjoyed the early access much more. Specifically the introduction. The way Noah is introduced first makes him feel more personal to the creature. In the final version you meet Noah, El and Justine all together. And oh my god El.

Where do I begin. He is not a bad character, on the contrary I think hes ok. But it feels as if he took Noahs more positive traits like the kindness and selflessness. And he feels ever so slightly shoehorned in, BUT he does have an important role. Afaik he is the nepe of madness, mazm spoiled that in like previous material and shit like im assuming its supposed to be a surprise but its so obvious theyre related. But to a newcomer it would be a surprise so i wont riff on mazm too much.

So yeah we meet El in the beginning as opposed to later on. This is important because madness is the third floor boss, if they wanted the twist with El to hit, the player would have to know him since the beginning. Since early access didnt have El then, they'd have to change up the approach.

Tbh how I'd write the new version would be keeping the EA plot, BUT, introduce El in the beginning with Noah, and also develop their interpersonal relationship because it seems Noah does trust El. It would be good to develop a reason why he trusts El and also El can convince him to help the creature. It would hopefully keep the same effect as the final version where you still get to meet El in the beginning.

While we are at change, Noah feels ever so slightly flanderized from early access, its hilarious. HE LITERALLY MAKES CASH REGISTER NOISES THATS HIS SFX!!!! Its so funny it makes me laugh, mori calliopes mickey voice for him is priceless. BUT, in a story sense, flanderization is kinda, not good. Its not good to reduce characters to a singular trait as that is how they become one dimensional.

However, I am making these assumptions based on the 3 hours of gameplay i have seen, and I am not saying this is Noah in entirety. For all i know he may get development and grow as a character. I applaud mazm for their characters as that is what they mainly focus on when it comes to writing. They want memorable characters, I just dont think flanderization is the way to go.

Noah in the new version is a man that lives by the sigma grindset. He cracks a lot more mortician jokes which is rlly funny that can stay. There is also a flyer for a "evans funeral service" which gives a two in one coffin deal, sounds familiar doesnt it? If Noah's last name is "Evans" then thats a pretty clever way of revealing that. But hes far more transactional and light hearted compared to previous Noah who could be an absolute edgelord if he wanted to.

EA Noahs lines about beggars asking for free services and his more dry sarcasm conveyed a more adult vibe to him. Hes like 33 hes seen some shit. Thats not old but more like enough time for him to be thoroughly unamused by the world. His tired lines reveal just how little faith he has in anyone but himself and certain people. But then you get his memories, you see that sweeter side to him, and he gets more lighthearted and a friend to the creature. He makes jokes with the creature, he teaches it about life and new words, all sorta fun stuff.

Hes still using it, hes 100 transparent about it and he apologizes for lying to the creature about going up the tower. However, the friendship it builds with the creature feels more personal, more earned. He helped the creature not because of someone elses interference (El in the new version), but out of his own will, even if there was financial intent behind it. He was the one that tried breaking down the door and failed. He had far more of an independent role and felt like a character, not azul ashengrotto 2.0. I have joked abt Noah being an MLM salesman but I did not expect this.

When Noah got his memories back in EA, he had a strong reaction to them, and you got to learn just a bit more about him, adding depth to his character. In the new version it doesn't really feel like you're getting anything new from it. Sure the meat is in the memories, but I think the character's reactions to those memories also matters a lot. It shows how they've changed as a person, and its a subtle way of self reflection.

I feel as if because we don't know about new Noah that much yet, he does fall a bit flat. I hope that his arc does not end here! And I am sure it wont! I'm sure his story will continue even beyond floor one. Mazm is amazing at characters when it wants to be, and for a game like thy creature, i think it does want to be outstanding.

honestly i just got into hxh and . came across ur blog (this post specifically) & i have so much to say regarding illumi / his character (im sorry you're gonna have to listen 😭🤞) anyways onto why i hate this man:

it's so bad kinning him. like so so bad. i've noticed a repetition in which i aggressively relate to characters in animes who were shitty siblings or have shitty relationships w their siblings (think shigaraki from bnha, tsukishima from haikyuu, kirishima from tokyo ghoul, etc.) and it's ridiculous bc the only way i'd ever have realized i lived in a very dangerous (abusive) environment was practically thru watching these characters in shows do the exact same or similar things i did to my own family. and what my family did to me. and what my parents families did to THEM. & i was in denial for literal Years over this and stopped watching anime for like. weeks afterward bc i just cld not face the idea that what my family did to me was horrible (still am in denial but we dont talk abt that.) its just so bad but its even worse w illumi because he's the eldest & we never actually get to SEE his suffering, we just see the end product (which is an almost puppet-like fucked up human being.)

& the part in ur post abt being unable to be truly mad despite them doing everything wrong and messing up ur childhood - i FELT that. like its insane how we (those who understand the zoldycks) all seem to have collective trauma over our families

But see I think I am personally unable to hate Illumi because, well, I feel so close to him. My kin feels for him are ridiculously high at this point. Like I fully aknowledge that Illumi is a horrible, vile, fucked up, despicable mess of a man and I will never ever defend his actions. He was so ruined by his families behavior and his own trauma he basically turned like them and passed that trauma on his own little brother (Killua), this is terrifying. This is so sad.

But Illumi neing a fucked up mess is also what makes me love him because I think despite everything profoundly bad he did in his life, I still feel sympathy for him.

I have that feeling I would have developped Illumi-like personality traits (extremely manipulative and controlling) if I haven't had so many amazing friends and if I turned out to be way, way, way less naturally kind.

When I say I kin Illumi because "I want to look like him", it obviously does not mean I want to be a massive asshole. What I love and envies in Illumi is probably his whole detached and emotionless behaviour, which I am like 100% sure he developped to cope with his trauma. And he's the eldest, while I am the youngest sibling and I have always hated being the youngest LMAO. Also hhhhh he pretty. Beautiful poor little meow meow.

I truly believe Togashi will end up telling us about Illumis childhood. Like Hisokas childhood I sincerely hope he will never share this with us because I just feel like it would be ruining the whole character, but Illumi? We have to see his childhood.

The day he decides to share this with us, I feel like I am going to have the biggest catharsis moment (tm) ever in my whole life.

so back in novemberish i got a call that i was fired from my job while i was on my way to end things with the guy i’d been seeing, and i ended up with like. nothing but free time for a month and watched all of letterkenny. the fic idea’s been in my head for ages and i dont think i’ll ever actually write it? so here’s a basic bulleted outline also this post 100% helped inspire it

Jack is Wayne, obviously. He’s fresh off a breakup with Camilla, and he’s doing Bad. (Camilla is fine in this au because i have a weird soft spot for Pretty Blonde Girl who literally only appeared once in comic. She just broke up w him because she wasn’t feeling it anymore)

Shitty is Squirrely Dan. He’s a few months into a women’s studies course and he wants to tell everyone he can about it.

Ransom and Holster and Jonesy and Riley. I don’t feel like I need to explain this one at all. I didn’t know which of them was which until like season 3 that’s all im saying

Lardo is Katy. She’s dating Ransom and Holster, who aren’t dating each other (or are they? no one’s quite sure, least of all them. Threesomes have been had but we don’t need to talk about it, rans, it’s fine. Our dicks never touched, okay?)

This is where things diverge from canon. It’s not gonna be a retelling of letterkenny, more just adopting some of their tropes/character archetypes. Also this is gonna get long so i’m putting the rest of it under a cut

Chowder and Farmer are Mr and Mrs McMurray. Less of the general obnoxiousness though and more just every time we see them they can’t keep their hands off each other. Lardo and Farmer have also hooked up at some point you can’t take this away from me. Chowder and Jack have no idea how to interact with each other but are also very close friends. They don’t understand it either

Dex is the town bartender/handyman. He has also hooked up with both Chowder and Farmer because I deserve this.

Nursey is the Bonnie McMurray character. He works part time with Dex at the bar, where they fight/flirt constantly. Every time he’s mentioned there is a sigh and a “Derek Nurse....” Everyone in the town would like very much to kiss him. He’s not related to Chowder and Farmer at all, and has also hooked up with them because i deserve this 

Whiskey and Tango are Stewart and Roald. I have nothing to expand on here specifically I just think it’s funny.

I have nothing for Dary or Tanis or Ford but none of their characters really mesh. I don’t know. Someone else can figure this out.

Regular town life gets turned upside down when American baker Eric Bittle comes into town

He’s on a tour across Canada and the US finding recipes for his upcoming cookbook, which is all based on small town cuisine across north america, and he ends up in Samwell, Ontario

This is not a town that is known for anything except for their pretty good community hockey team. they got second place at the Province finals. It was a big deal. They definitely don’t have any recipes their town is known for, but Bitty ends up at the local bar, where he meets Nursey and Dex, who introduce him to and Chowder and Farmer, who introduce him to Jack and the crew, and then he just sort of. doesnt leave?

He’s supposed to be working on his book but we all know how Bitty is with procrastination, and also there is this very handsome gruff farmer who’s always holding a german shepherd puppy and bitty may or may not ignore calls from his agent for like a month, until she ends up driving into middle of nowhere Ontario to make sure he hasn’t been murdered or kidnapped

So Bitty leaves, and finishes his book, and there’s a whole chapter on Samwell that gets scrapped because there’s not actually any recipes in it but it’s so charming that somehow it gets turned into its own whole half memoir of his time there half picture of life in small town canada and him and Jack keep in very close touch (you know, for research)

and then eventually he has to go back to town to finish the book and him and jack kiss and he stays forever and they throw super soft birthday parties and jack beats up assholes and homophobes and lardo eventually dumps ransom and holster for shitty and ransom and holster realize they may or may not have been using her as an excuse to kiss each other and everyone is happy

I walk out of the tent i kindly got from the eldest blake, i get to share it with octavia when she gets back and im really excited for that. I have never had a roommate.

The second i step foot outside i hear a girl whimper and scream and run to the sound, i see murphy holding a girls wrist above the fire bellamy arrives a few seconds after me and softly pulls me into his side. "Bellamy. Check it out. We want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? Figure it'll look better if we suffer a little bit first" he says with a smirk, his words are to bellamy but his eyes are on me. I shake my head and go to speak up but wells cuts me off "let her go!" He points to murphy before turning to look at bellamy "you can stop this" he says before turning to me "you can make him stop this, why are you just being some lapdog? I dont get how you and clarke are related she would never let this happen. I get why they gave you up" i gasp at the audacity this boy has, bellamy looks pissed but hes not the only one,  he yells out "stop this? Its just getting started"

Murphy storms up to wells and pushes him after wells told bellamy "don't you see you can't control this?"

Some of the 100 start chanting "fight" after someone yells out the word fight, bellamy's arm reaches out as to cover me from the fight just incase.

3rd pov

Anyone octavia cares for bellamy cares for. "You're dead" murphy sneers to Wells while holding his knife.

Bellamy looks behind him to ensure y/n is safe but shes not behind him anymore, he makes a mental note to ask y/n later where the hell she went, he stops the fight for a second "fair fight" he throws a knife at wells feet.

Wells yells out while murphy snarls  "this is for my father"

Wells is trying to stop the fight while also trying to protect himself "drop it" he demands having murphy in a choke hold.

"WELLS LET HIM GO" Clarke yells as she comes back to the dropship with the group of people she took but jasper is nowhere to be seen.

Y/n pov

At the sound of my sisters voice i stop watching the trees and walk back to the dropship.

Murphy is in a chokehold by wells, i giggle softly, clarke pulls them apart making murphy release a "woah,  hey!"

Bellamy only replies "enough murphy" and goes to say more but notices octavia is hurt "Octavia. Are you alright?" He asks falling back into his role of big brother.

He walks up to her and puts her arm over his shoulder she lets out a "yeah" before bellamy moves to the next question "where's the food?"

I walk up to the group and ask clarke "where is jasper?" But i just get ignored by her which makes me huff in annoyance, a hand falls into mine and squeezes softly, i turn my head to see charlotte with a small smile on her face, i return her smile and turn back to the group.

Clarke was mid talk now "people here, survivors. The good news is, that means we can survive. Radiation won't kill us"

Finn continues talking for her "Yeah, the bad news is the Grounders will"

Then wells opens his mouth again but i cut him off with a louder "where is jasper" its not a question its a demand, if clarke isnt going to answer my question fine. Ill just demand the answer.

To my surprise she actually answers which makes me think maybe she didnt hear me the first time "Jasper was hit. They took him" She answers me her eyes sad and holding pity while she looks at me. She is quick to look away when i have some tears in my eyes. When she does that she notices something about wells "Where is your wristband?" She asks him while shaking her head. He glares at murphy who is standing nearly next to me "ask him" wells spits out.

Murphy just smirks "twenty-four and counting" he answers smug.

This angers clarke and she snaps "You idiots. Life support on the Ark is failing. That's why they brought us down here. They need to know the ground is survivable again, and we need their help against whoever is out there. If you take off your wristbands, you're not just killing them. You're killing us!" She comes up to murphy and pokes her finger into his chest. A move that makes bellamy step in "We're stronger than you think. Don't listen to her. She's one of the privileged. If they come down, she'll have it good. How many of you can say the same? We can take care of ourselves. That wristband on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners anymore! They say they'll forgive your crimes. I say you're not criminals! You're fighters, survivors! The Grounders should worry about us!"

Alot of the 100 agree with him, but he still looks at me as if looking for approval but i just look confused and as if im between two sides. He just sends me a sad smile before walking to octavia and lifting her up and bringing her to her and my tent.

A little bit later i walk into the tent, bellamy is gone and octavia is sitting on her cot "im gonna have a cool scar" she says with a small smile when she notices my worry, i giggle softly "hell yeah"

I quickly but carefully hug her.

She leaves the tent leaving me alone with my thoughts, i hear octavia say "you guys leaving? Im coming too"

Which makes me also exit the tent, clarke shakes her head and bellamy quickly says "No. No. No way. Not again"

And clarke follows that with a "hes right your legs just gonna slow us down" then she turns to the older blake "im here for you" wells is quick to protest this "Clarke, what are you doing?" He asks confused.

"I hear you have a gun" she says which makes bellamy look around a bit before lifting up his shirt a bit and revealing a gun "good come with me" she says. Which just results in a scoff "and why would i do that?"

Clarke says something that i dont pay attention to and then bellamy says something i dont care to listen to.

"Im coming too" i suddenly say loud enough for murphy who just walked up to hear "no" he says without thinking "absolutly not" bellamy adds to his statement. Clarke nods "i cant believe im saying this but i agree with-" i cut her off "no offense but im gonna come even if you guys dont want me to come. Jasper is my friend" i say trying to sound firm but i just look like a puppy trying to be tough"

Wells looks at me with a look i cant identify and he nods "let her come" he says "ill keep an eye on her, she will not leave my side" this only made bellamy protest even more, and to everyones surprise murphy started protesting too "she'll stick to our fucking side and we will keep an eye on her, not little mister wanna be chancellor" bellamy scoffs murphy nods in agreement "fucker would just let her get hurt" murphy snaps out.

Clarke starts walking and moves her arm in a come here kind of way before awkwardly putting her arm around my shoulder

Then murphy turns to bellamy "since when do we do rescue services, huh?"

Bellamy laughs softly before whispering "The Ark thinks the prince is dead. Once they think the princess is, too, they'll never come down. I'm getting that wristband, even if I have to cut off her hand to do it"

Clarke sighs softly while we are walking "im sorry okay? Im sorry i stopped visiting. I care about you y/n always have always will"

I stop walking and look at her "you told me you wished i died instead of got to live" i whisper yell at her "you never cared clarke" i say with tears in my eyes. I slap her arm off of me before i start walking ahead of everyone, they start argueing behind me but i just block them out until someone runs up behind me and softly grabs my wrist "your with us" murphy says before nodding his head to where wells and bellamy are standing.

We have been walking for a bit before murphy speaks up "Hey, how do we know this is the right way?"

Bellamy shakes his head, before adjusting me, i forced bellamy to give me a piggyback ride so i can be useful later on. Well not so much forced he very happily offered it to me when i said i had a rock in my shoe.

"We don't. Spacewalker thinks he's a tracker."

Wells is quick to finns defense "It's called cutting sign. Fourth-year earth skills. He's good."

Finn just scoffs and says "You want to keep it down or should I paint a target on your backs?"

Bellamy and murphy laugh mockingly "See? You're invisible" bellamy mocks wells.

In the distance i hear jasper, i jump off of bellamy's back and run to the moans of pain, only to almost walk into a trap but im quickly stopped by murphy, his arms wrap protectively around my waist before i can fall.

I look at him in shock and he looks back with the same expression, its like he didnt even know where the fast reflex came from.

He strokes my hair once and mutters a quick "ur ok" before pulling me further from the trap, at the same time bellamy had clarke by her wrist and was debating if he should drop her or not but then the thought of y/n, he cant just let her sister die. He quickly pulls clarke up.

Murphy is still holding me in shock "shit you couldve died idiot" murphy and i have not really interacted before this so i dont know what to do other then just nod my head really fast in agreement

"Murphy help cut him down" clarke yells loudly when she cant find him.

He, still holding my waist, walks us into their view, he hands me to bellamy with a "idiot almost fucking died" before going to help finn.

Its then that clarke notices something "there is poultice on his wound" she says

Wells looks at her confused "medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?"

Then bellamy looks at the rest while holding onto me "Maybe what they're trying to catch likes its dinner to be breathing"

Finn tries to be deep and say "Maybe what they're trying to catch is us."

"Also hurry up murphy" he says after that.

I then chime in "be careful"

Then we all hear growling in the distance, murphy is the first to speak up "what the hell was that?" He demands looking in the direction the growling was coming from, while doing that his eyes also land on y/n to make sure bellamy still had her.

When the eldest blake noticed the lingering glance his direction he offered "grounders?".

Then more sounds can be heard from the bushes, snarling this time. Clarke yells out for the gun but bellamy doesnt have it anymore.

He goes to throw me to the side so the animal is away from me but as soon as he tries i take a claw to the left arm, thats when wells takes it down.

Clarke looks at wells with a look she had only given finn so far and bellamy says "now she sees you" with a scoff before telling me to get on his back and he carries me and the panther back

Murphy and finn carry jasper back to camp, and murphy cant help but send concerned looks my way.

When we get back to the camp clarke reassures people jasper is alive and bellamy announces we have food

murphy and some other boys just cooked the meat and are trading meat for wristbands

Im standing with finn, my arm is bandaged up and clarke walks up "He's stable for now, but without medicine… They're taking off their wristbands for food? No way. I… I won't do it" she says to finn, he smirks at her "You don't have to" then he looks at me almost asking me if i want to be involved in this and i quickly shake my head.

He walks up to the fire and takes two sticks of meat which makes murphy speak up "Whoa, whoa. Wait, wait, wait. What, you think you play by different rules?"

Finn just scoffs "i thought there where no rules" then walks over to clarke and hands her a stick, as im making my way back to my tent i feel a finger tap on my shoulder. I turn around and im faced with a guy i have never spoken to.

im judging 1-a's hero costumes and want to share them with you :) just as a general base for this assume im judging everyone for not having the appropiate amount of padding on their costume

aoyama: sir, this isnt a modern fashion show this is crime fighting.

ashido: look, i know her whole schtick is like, 80s (90s??) era, but i am on my knees begging her to at least choose prints that go with each other.

tsuyu: honestly? its good. i think she should maybe add some blues and browns into it if shes going to be fighting in water so she can blend in a bit more, but its very nice already.

iida: sir, sir, why are you wearing the equivalent of a medieval suit of armor. he can run fast, yeah, but that wont do much if they can hear him coming a mile away.

uraraka: another one i really like. the color scheme is cute, you cant tell what her quirk is just by looking at it, and she has a face protector!! you go you funky little hero.

ojiro: i mean, it fits his personality? i look at his character and go ehhh. and then i see his hero costume and go ehhh. very on brand.

kaminari: the jacket is a grabby hazard. maybe he could fix the ends to the rest of his costume so they arent flapping around? other than that its good.

kirishima: look, i love him as much as the next person but god please put on a shirt. take a leaf out of mirio's book and make a suit out of your hair, that way it hardens with you and adds an extra layer of protection. also the skirt thingy is a grabby hazard.

koda: gonna be honest, i had to look it up because i could not remember what it looked like BUT when i saw it it was a little confusing? the mouth. why. he couldve put anthing else on his shirt in relation to his quirk but goes with a set of teeth. get it ig?

sato: its solid. a little boring to look it which must be a pain to market off but its reliable? i mean it compliments him well so. king.

shoji: so theres nothing really wrong with it, but i just dont like it. i mean he doesnt have much to work with to be fair and it feels a little plain. not like i could do any better though.

jiro: her costume looks like street clothes. the jacket, again, should be fixed to the rest of her costume so you cant grab it. her boots might weigh her down? idk maybe theyre made of lightweight material who knows.

sero: another one i dont necessarily have a strong opinion about. it works well with his quirk, he sticks to a few main colors, and his helmet thing looks like a tape dispenser. hes easily marketable and its efficient.

tokoyami: haha edgelord. but its useful. his cloak helps dark shadow if theres too much light and it just fits his aesthetic. another easy market (esp towards teens)

todoroki: why.

hagakure: see above, but more stressed. please, just copy mirio and make a suit out of your hair. we are all begging you.

bakugou: oh boy uh. green and orange are So Ugly together. they just dont work and the black background theyre on only accentuates this. another note: his gauntlets are too big for him to open a door. this man would never be able to do stealth missions unless he lost the gauntlets.

midoriya: i like his, honestly. he adapted it to work well with his quirks and he also reinforced the places and he needex extra support (wrists/hands). stuck to a color scheme.

mineta: i genuinely do not understand what the thing around his waist is for?? what is it. also cape: garbby hazard. id tone down the yellow a bit, just so it doesnt scream out his position because its eye catching.

yaoyorozu: you are a child. i cant believe i am reiterating this point so much but make a suit out of your hair. your hair is a surface on your body ergo, you should be able to produce your creations through it without exposing yourself.

+aizawa: i mean, it works for an underground hero. he doesnt have to worry about his appearance, just practicality. he has his goggles, his scarf. the only thing bad is the bagginess. some villain is going to grab the extra fabric and yeet him into a brick wall.

I’ll be honest. Whenever costumes are involved I always get a little scared. But you anon? You’ve managed to be OSHA and the fashion police all at once. I literally can’t add anything to this you are objectively correct

And THANK YOU for bringing up the ‘make costumes out of your hair’. Sure it might not work 100% of the time. But at LEAST Hagakure could! I would like to see it for all the ones you’ve mentioned tho, it’s incredibly practical and also way more protective for these children
