So thankfully, I avoid most ships on this platform, but I’ve seen there’s apparently a lot of Zutara hate going on. there wasn’t really a reason for them to dislike each other, it was purely on the fact that they were so similar personality wise that they just clashed. everything thing they did was just a reason to say “mingyu oppa stop being so loud, your voice feels like it’s echoing in my head!” or “jihye you’re being annoying, leave me alone”. to be clear, they never got into physical or screaming fights — but they definitely could get a little heated and knew how to hit each others nerves.

this went on to about a year deep into debuting until seungcheol stuffed them in a room and locked the door to talk it out. they realized that night they were so alike and had the same interest with certain things that they were like two positives of a magnetic! at this point in time they are extremely close and they love each other dearly, honestly bestie for the restie.

minghao’s always hyping up our precious flower (as he should) and it often embarrasses her (like a father that purposefully embarrasses their daughter out in public). “ah, she’s so cute!” “rosie posie, the prettiest flower in the field!” “how did we get so lucky to have you in our team.” its a constant thing and don’t get her wrong she loves it but he’ll do it in the most random places like whilst their at restaurants and it’s so loud too.

despite all of that, jihye has a special place in minghao’s heart. she’s like a the rainbow that comes after the rain and no matter how protective or “embarrassing” minghao is for jihye, she knows she would miss it once it’s gone. jihye was never one to want to regret things and she didn’t want to regret taking the love minghao gives for granted.

the thing is seungkwan is always taking care of the members by making sure they are staying healthy, eating right and taking their vitamins as needed — but who does he have to fall back on when he forgets that he needs a helping hand? the answer is, jihye. she has this like 6th sense when it comes to the 98 liner. he’ll be in his room close to tears over something that’s been on his mind and here comes jihye with the worlds best cuddles and the most comforting words a person could hear. sometimes all you need is that one person and that one look to take all the stress away.

seungkwan loves jihye with all his heart and if and when seventeen ends, he knows that his friendship with jihye will never. there’s just something about these two that makes them both connect so well, it’s like twin flames.

now, vernon never does this to the point of making her uncomfortable or making or cry, that’s not the point and it’s a way he shows his love to her. jihye is another little sister to him and what better way to show affection to your sister by teasing her and pissing her off? jihye always gets him back though, oh you best believe! it’s constantly a thing between them so when they all switched dorms it was heaven sent for the other members.

the two became close immediately seeing as how close in age they are and everything they had in common. they went to school together — everyday walking the same path holding hands (jihye liked to run off when she saw something she liked), dino helped jihye with her homework (even though he didn’t understand it, with her being in advanced classes and such). they often think back to the time they stayed up at night when they were trainee’s and consoled each other and put a stop to each others worries for the future. dino made a secret promise to himself, if jihye didn’t debut with him in someway, shape, or form then he would back out and follow jihye wherever she went.

fans can see their love for each other all the time weather it be at concerts, through their phone screen, and even in photos. there is no jihye without dino and no dino with jihye, better get used to it because they aren’t going anywhere.

out of curiosity, are you a hosie or a hizzie? you're pretty loud about your dislike for handon, but i rarely see you post either hosie or hizzie.

Honestly, I had to think hard to answer this because I really did enjoy aspects of both ships. Short answer, I like both but don't love either. If I had to choose I would likely say Hizzie.

With Hosie I feel like they lacked a lot of the depth despite them being the most popular ship in the show. Ironically enough, they followed in KC's footsteps in that sense. They never really had enough build-up for them to start a relationship at any point in the show and it didn't help that the writers seemingly put a ban on them in s3. After being called out for queerbaiting the audience they just decided to completely cut Hope and Josie off from each other, even in situations that would've called for them to interact (s2 literally ended with them having an episode heavily centric on their dynamic, yet there was no follow up in s3?).

Their dynamic for the most part bored me, even as someone who enjoys the friends-to-lovers trope. Often times their scenes felt a bit empty, which definitely could’ve been intentional on the writers part to dissuade people from shipping them to be fair! They just didn’t get enough content for me to fully jump on board. I do think that out of Hope's popular ships, they had the best chemistry. They felt very natural in the scenes they shared and could've been great in canon. Had DRR and Kaylee been given the chance, Hosie would’ve been one of the few canon Legacies ships that had real romantic chemistry.

Hope and Lizzie’s relationship very clearly the star of the show. The best elements of the show were jumpstarted by their relationship (their rivals-to-friends era in s1, their hilarious scenes in s2 and 3, and their tribrid/heretic, sirebond, and enemies era in s4). The writers put more effort into Hizzie than any other aspect of the show, including Hope and Lizzie's canon relationships with their boring boyfriends. Typically, Hizzie is the thing the Legacies writers are praised for the most, and the praise is deserved.

Based on the writing alone Hizzie would've gone down as one of my favorite TVDU ships, maybe even one of my favorite ships period. But I don’t think DRR and Jenny have much romantic chemistry. Very close friends and platonic soulmates, yes. Girlfriends... I'd have to actually see it to believe it. They had the potential to start something, especially in season 4, but I’m not sure how it would feel to actually watch them have romantic scene.

It’s hard to say which I'd rather have been canon because of this. I can't see how Hope and Josie’s relationship being entertaining to watch (assuming that I can't go back and rewrite their relationship) and unless DRR and Jenny were specifically toning down whatever romantic chemistry they may have, I can't see myself rooting for them to kiss on screen. If I absolutely had to choose? Before s4 I would’ve said Hizzie by a long shot, but s4 gave Hosie an edge (I love ships where one or both of them are obsessively down bad and s4 Josie fit that to a T. Josie caring more about the girl that beat her father nearly to death, threatened to kill her mother, and actually killed her sister? EAT EAT EAT!), but also the sirebond gave Hizzie a bit of an edge (how could you not get even a little buzz from “I hate you for making me love you”?)… Hizzie was the first Legacies ship I fell for so I feel like I’m always gonna be a bit bias towards them.

I’d choose either one of these ships over the train wreck that was Hope and Landon in a heartbeat though! Both had potential to be excellent in their own ways if H.ndon wasn’t shoved down our throats.

..I don’t care much for merchandise as a ship proof because merchandise people do that for ships in general, their intention is to make as much money as possible. Look at snk merchandise, they usually make sure to put Levi with Eren, Erwin and Hange all because those are the most popular snk ships in Japan. After that is Eren with Mikasa. Often Eren and Mikasa are put with Levi instead of Armin as a group regardless of how little sense it makes, simply because Levi is more popular than Armin. And I can see whenever a merchandise is pandering to Eren/Levi shippers, because it has been the most popular ship in snk for as long as I can remember. It’s easy money for them. Shippers are satisfied with little. Just put something little suggestive which isn’t canon anyway and shippers go crazy.

Same way there is Naruto merchandise for ships, and different shippers use it as proof lol. What matters is what Kishi writes. And Kishi’s art for Naruto and Sasuke is better than anything the merchandise folks could put up because it’s canon.

The ever favorite. The 2018 kabuki illustration honestly looks better than any “fancy clothing” merchandise of them I’ve seen. Just for the gorgeous fabric alone. And they actually look like themselves unlike in many merchandise.

What can I say, everyone loves this one. He just decided “Oh Naruto and Sasuke are going through individual changes at this point of the story before reuniting dramatically. How about I give them some boyfriend necklaces.” Naruto looks so smug and Sasuke is just serene. They wear them so proudly.

Don’t tell me this doesn’t look suggestive. And “Those feelings... those wishes... have without fail... make it our fate to meet once again.” We get it Kishi, they want to... get busy.

So here we have Sakura wetting herself, and Sasuke who according to SS is so crazy about her is completely ignoring her while looking at Naruto with such suggestive gesture with the bottle. Sasuke looks frustrated even. While Naruto doesn’t seem to notice because he’s focused on the battle of the beetles he named Naruto and Sasuke. LOL.

Well Kishimoto has mentioned how much he cares about the angles and how things look when drawing, and we can see it here. It’s not like Sasuke’s head is placed very strategically... Are you trying to tell us something Kishi? 😐

Summary: Whilst travelling with the Doctor, you often face certain challenges the others don’t. But it turns out, the person you least expected to understand, is the one who helps you the most. CANNON-DIVERGENCE // SHORT ONESHOT

A/N: A little bit self-indulgence doesn’t hurt right? This is based off my own struggles and experiences with my own neurodivergence tendencies. So if something doesn’t relate to you, that’s fine, everyone’s experiences are different! Ofc, it’s also a popular theory/opinion that the Timelords themselves are also ND. Keep yourself safe, happy and ensure you get rest!

Travelling with The Doctor was amazing. But sometimes it felt too much, like everything was happening so fast and so loud. Sometimes your brain was working in overload, firing quicker than the others, and other times it was the opposite, like you couldn’t quite get it into gear. Sometimes you wanted to shut down, lock yourself away and not have any communication for days, and other times you wanted to be around everyone and talk for hours. It was exhausting. Everyone aboard the TARDIS was understanding, they tried their best to help when they could.

When The Master joined you all, you weren’t sure about it. There was obvious history between the two Timelords that made you feel a little uneasy. More for the fact that any source of tension in a room would make you feel on edge. The Master was mostly on the quieter side, making quips here and there, making cheap shots about humans and often disobeying The Doctors orders, but thankfully not to the level of destroying planets or killing anyone. The only reason he was with you was so The Doctor could keep an eye on him.

Stepping out of the TARDIS, you were suddenly faced with a bustling market, as you instantly blinked, trying to adjust yourself to the scene before you.

“The famous market of Urania!” The Doctor cheered, gesturing to the stalls that surrounded you all. “Anything and everything you could ever think of, this market will definitely have it!” She grinned, as Yaz smiled as her eyes scanned the area. The Master stepped out of the ship, standing beside you as he took in the surroundings also. “Well, nearly anything and everything.” The Doctor added. “Now, remember, don’t wander too far-“ She eyed The Master as he folded his arms, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. “And meet back here in around an hour?” She looked at you all for confirmation as you weakly nodded, forcing a smile.

Once she was happy, The Doctor spun on her heel, heading off towards some of the stalls as you heard her go ‘oooh’ in delight as Yaz followed closely behind, smiling at her friend. You stood still, eyes scanning everything around you, completely forgetting about the other Timelord that was still standing beside you.

“Are you going to stand here all day?”

You jumped at his voice as you whipped your head to look at him.

“May as well have a look.” He shrugged slightly as he began to walk forwards. You took a breathe before quickly following him, not wanting to be left alone in the crowd. “Most of this stuff is space junk and tat.” The Master spoke as you tried to focus on his words, trying to tune out the loud voices that flooded your ears. “And these sellers charge an arm and a leg for it. Unsuspecting tourists don’t know the difference.” You hummed at his words, as you kept your eyes focused on his back, hoping to block out what was happening around you. Suddenly you felt a shove, as you fell forwards, going into The Master as you gasped. Your head snapped round to see a tall, green man glaring down at you. The Master quickly turned, seeing you staring up at the disgruntled alien as he instantly glared at them.

“Oi!” He snapped. “You should watch where you’re going.” He stared up at the alien, not standing down as he narrowed his eyes, tilting his head slightly. The alien made a noise before walking round the two of you, The Masters gaze still focused on them as they huffed in annoyance, making their way past. You could feel your heart beginning to beat faster, as the noise began to flood back into your ears. You instinctively began tapping your fingers together in a self soothing motion, focusing on the sensation to keep you grounded.

“And people say I have no manners.” The Master clicked his tongue as he finally turned back to look at you. He could see your anxiousness on your features as he peered down to see your tapping. He pursed his lips as he observed you. “Come on, let’s go somewhere a bit quieter with less idiots.” He gestured with his head as he nodded in another direction. What you didn’t expect was him to hold out his hand, offering it to you as you furrowed your brows, before hesitantly taking it, allowing him to guide you out of the crowd.

You kept your gaze focused down as he took you both towards the edge of the market, where less people gathered. Finally, you came to a halt, as he let go of your hand, causing you to look up at him.

“Better?” He asked, as you nodded, feeling slightly more content being away from the majority of the crowd. “Good.” He simply said as you stood in silence for a few minutes, allowing yourself to adjust once again to the surroundings. You found yourself finally being able to properly take in the place, observing from the sidelines as you watched all the different aliens approach the different stalls.

“Thank you.” You finally spoke, finding your voice as he peered over at you. He gave you a small nod as you both peered back out at the crowd.

Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all.

ur post about oc fic and reader insert fic made me think about how every time i see a post dragging x reader it's kinda just... thinly veiled misogyny.

like i don't wanna get super deep or whatever but a good chunk of x reader writers (myself included) are just women or people socialized as women that have felt unloved or under appreciated in their lives because of their looks or their personality or their skills in things that women/feminine people are expected to excel in and i think that oc/reader insert stories give women a really important space to make themselves (or a version of themselves) the most desired thing which is something that they often don't experience. it's a space where women can feel comfortable and loved in a world where they're under appreciated and tossed aside because of things out of their control and it drives me up a wall when i see people shitting on these spaces and these works because these are just safe spaces for marginalized people PREDOMINATELY CREATED BY MARGINALIZED PEOPLE!!

omg see the thing that gets me about the occassional x reader/oc drag is that—the call is coming from inside the house LMAO. like, okay maybe original characters in fics aren’t a niche thing, but x reader sure the hell is, so you have to like, know internet culture/fandom to be aware of it let alone to start using it like an insult, you know? and i would argue that fanfic tends to be a hobby that attracts marginalised identities as you say, so like, why are we clowning on ourselves? LOL. it’s like a mathlete bullying the horse girl of their class, like, buddy—we’re both losers!!! get over yourself LMAO.

i think my favourite dig at x reader (specifically) that i’ve ever seen is some rando on tiktok saying it was fanfic for people who were popular in public school—i think it’s so telling of how other fans might view oc/reader content? like, “oh that’s just some straight girl shit, they’re not putting any effort into it/they’re stealing our precious ship boys for their pORN/they’re ruining the canon story by inserting themselves into it”. and idk—part of it is just human nature (we are always going to shit on things we don’t like, that is a fact) and part of it might be fandom/internet culture at large at the moment (the purity aspect/policing) but at the end of the day all we can do is tell them to eat dog shit when they sprout up in our spaces and ignore ‘em.

idk! it drives me bonkers though, because it does feel like these spaces/niches do get targeted unfairly for it—if it’s not for the simple crime of writing a love story with your favourite character, then it’s like… being old and doing it! because god forbid you be over the age of 18 and still enjoy engaging with fiction! don’t you have a mortgage to go pay? like—i never see that attitude (within a fandom space) directed at the grown-ass men and women and gender neutral pals who play like, Dungeons and Dragons. No one (within a fandom space!) tells them they’re weird for forty-hour long campaigns where they fight and fall in love and idk, put dragons in some dungeons or something. no—it’s the blatant love stories that get picked on. the ones written by girls (gender neutral).

romance—and falling in love—is one of the most universal feelings/acts in the world. we want to fall in love with everything! in every world! we wanna—fall in love and be loved by superheroes and the villains they fight and the monsters in the dark and the good guys that rush in with swords and the cute barista at the coffee shop down the road. if other fans wanna get hung up on the fact that a tiny fraction of others want to insert themselves in these incredible worlds and experience everything they want to (having powers; being saved. saving someone else—saving yourself) then that’s their problem lmaoooo. im sorry you can’t have fun and create whimsy for yourself by drawing an oc who wins the sports festival and saves bakugou from being kidnapped—but im built different. 😌 and im gonna have fun while im here.

Why do you think cooking crush kinda flopped? OG are still pretty popular no? Or is it that the show is kinda basic, like something we’ve seen before? I also don’t remember seeing too much promotion but maybe I just missed it.

Also did u see off and gun saying they want to be doing what they’re doing now 10 years from now? I think that’s a good indicator that a “break up” isn’t on the way :)

I'm actually thinking of making a video on the topic on my channel lol, but to summarize I think there's so many elements:

1) cooking crush is a more basic show, and those tend to gather success only if they have a new ship attached to them that gathered attention (ex: 2gether, msp, etc.) also I think the trailers & promos did a bad job hooking people onto it.

2) the bl genre is now saturated. if cooking crush was released in 2019 or 2020 it would've been huge simply for having offgun's name attached to it. but now there's 100+ bl shows released every year, and statistically only like 5-10% will be a huge success.

3) offgun were never a "viral" ship. off mentioned it himself in an interview, and it's definitely what has kept them together for 8+ years, but it also means they've never had the kind of hype attached to them brightwin, fourthgemini or even kristsingto have had.

4) offgun are the oldest thai bl ship still together, so in this highly saturated bl market where there's a new ship popping up quite literally every week, they're likely seen as old & has-been by many. bc of their age they're also unlikely to touch new younger audiences of bl, which are the most outspoken & passionate types of fans. 14 years old are more likely to stan the 18/19 years old at gmmtv instead of the 30+ grown ass men for sure. also, even if that seems sad & mean to say, in this current bl economy, I feel like fans get tired of seeing the same faces for so long, which is why now the lasting of ships is shorter & shorter and just used to launch a solo career.

5) the marketing. imo the biggest issue is the show in itself that doesn't meet the demands of the bl fandom at the moment (either innovative or at least hypersexual shows, apart for the new ships having basic shows exception that I talked about (and that works only at gmmtv too)), but the marketing could've definitely helped. imo they should've added a lot more fanservice in the trailer to hook the fetishizing fans in if they wanted more viewers. the social media marketing was also quite poor but not the actual worst.

however, even though cooking crush "flopped" in terms of being a gmmtv show & an offgun show, imo it was successful in its own way. it still trended number 1 on X every week if that still means anything, and it was also a very good show. like... not every show can be life-changing, in fact romcoms very rarely are. the show did what it set out to do & was well executed until the end, which for me is a success in itself. so flop? maybe not. success? maybe not either lol.

and yes, off has been talking about babiis sticking with him for 30 more years back in 2019, so we still have a good few decades ahead :) what I do really want to see from offgun is a new innovative show from them bc atp this is the only thing that will be a success (and their age & experience will still likely be a baggage in our hyperconsumerist bl market). I'm even less confident that the trainee will even get as much attention as cooking crush did, so what I want to see is a show where offgun are dads navigating being queer parents, or as I said before a dark psychological thriller. not only could they pull it off, but they would absolutely BODY a more heavy show with more innovative aspects. bc atm cooking crush & the trainee are only catering to their fanbase, gmmtv's & the rare ones who enjoy more basic romcoms. they need something so uncommon & original it will rally the bl fandom behind them, bc sadly atp their name alone will not do it. however, I'm not confident in gmmtv at all, especially since they have 15 other ships they gotta give shows to. the dad show, though? if it ever happens, it NEEDS to be offgun 100000%!!!

Request: Hi! Can I request Dabi and Hawks with an s/o who basically has two different sides. They have two different minds in one and two different quirks. There is a nighttime side and a daytime side. When they were a child and obtained their quirk, nobody liked the nighttime side so their parents taught the s/o to not trust their nighttime side and made them sleep with the lights on so that the nighttime side wouldn’t get out. Most of the time, they like staying in their daytime side, which can be activated as long as it’s daytime/there’s at least a least more than half light on them. The daytime is very sweet and kind, very Energetic and extroverted, and her quirk is enhancing another characters quirk by 20% and healing. However, whenever it’s turning nighttime/it’s dawn, then they immediately panic and leave the area immediately. The nighttime side is barely out and doesn’t understand the difference between right and wrong, the only thing the two share in their emotions, so when they they do get together with the s/o, that’s the only time, with much hesitation, they do eventually show their nighttime side. The nighttime side version is very blank, serious, and stoic. She’s not very good with speaking because she doesn’t know how to speak, as she was never allowed out, and only knows how to speak some words which are “Go away”. The nighttime version’s quirk is basically controlling people to do whatever they want as long as she’s out, and being alone in her consciousness has made her master her quirk. However, she does feel something towards their lover and she grows attached. Anyways, some headcanons (maybe even a mini one shot if you feel like it) with Dabi and Hawks would make my day!!

🪶 Keigo met you during the day obviously, so you were sweet and extroverted, your quirk increased the durability of his feathers and healed any damage done to them as long as you were in range. 🪶 You both fed off of each other and it wasn’t long before fans started to ship you or make bets on when you were going to announce your relationship. 🪶 The first time that you rush off at sunset he didn’t think anything of it, instead thinking that you had something else to do, you were pretty popular, he couldn’t have all of your attention even if he wanted it. 🪶 When it became more frequent he started to worry about you, there was some part of him that was suspicious, so one day he does follow you, worried that you were in trouble.

Keigo knew that he shouldn’t be following you but he was worried that you were in trouble, you seemed to be looking around like a scared animal, you were completely different to the person that he had met before. “What are you doing sunshine?” He asked himself as you walked into the abandoned warehouse. Keigo followed after you, keeping to the shadows as he watched you close the chains around your own wrists. “Won’t hurt anyone.” he could hear you mumbling to yourself “they told me I danger.” Keigo frowned as you sat on the floor legs crossed, the moon through the window was the only thing giving him any idea of what you were doing, he slowly shuffled closer, it seemed that you were more aware of your surroundings, your eyes finding him in the shadows immediately. “Why here?” “I was worried about you.” He answered as he approached you slowly. “Why are you chained up?” “I do bad things, if chained, can’t hurt anyone.” You answered. “Who told you that?” Keigo asked. “Mum and Dad.” You answered. “Well how about I stay with you tonight?” Keigo asked. “I’ll sit right here and make sure no one comes in here and you can tell me about yourself.” That night was the first time that you had come back to your body feeling rested and when you looked over at Keigo leant against the wall, you decided that maybe the fans were right and you would be good together.

🪶 It took a couple of months for you both to figure out how the dating worked and the boundaries of both personalities. 🪶 Keigo was just happy that you were happy, he didn’t mind that you were different, in fact he loved both sides of you. Being with you overnight gave him time to unwind and relax away from everyone else. 🪶 He started to teach the second personality about the world and how to talk, read and write, all of the things that you knew how to do during the day but he assumed this side of you was never taught. 🪶 Keigo quickly realise how much your other personality admired and needed him on the night that someone decided to break into the wrong apartment.

The crash was what woke Keigo, he reached over to the side of the bed that often occupied whether the lights were on or off, that woke him up kicking his legs over the side of the bed and walking out of the bedroom, he caught the tail end of an interaction “Leave.” He heard your voice say and before he could figure out who it was they had turned back to the front door and left. “(Y/N) are you okay?” Keigo asked as he walked towards you. “Keep you safe.” You answered in the short sentences that he had become accustomed to overnight. “Do people always do what you say?” He asked. “Only at night.” You answered “not let him hurt you.” “I won’t let anyone hurt you either.” He promised as he pressed a kiss to your forehead and for the first time, you leaned up and pressed a kiss to his cheek. It caused an unstoppable smile to stretch across his face as he pulled you back to the bedroom. “We have a long day tomorrow, time to get some rest.” “Mm.” You hummed allowing him to lead you back to the bedroom.

Dabi

🔥 The sunny side of your personality actually pushed him away when he first met you but given your personality you brute force it, he’ll tolerate you being around especially considering you were pretty valuable with your quirk. 🔥 As you get to know him, you adapt to make him feel a little more comfortable around you, your personality lended to helping him fall into the background where he liked to be. 🔥 He noticed that you would sneak off when the sun started to go down, you’d head up to your room and no one would see you until the next morning, you were always the first person up. 🔥 Dabi is nosey and he likes to have information to use against anyone, even if it is someone that he considers an ally at that moment. Which was what prompted him to follow you one night.

It was almost like you were someone else, you didn’t speak in full sentences, you were huddling in the corner and you wouldn’t lift your eyes from the carpeted floor. “Go away.” “Why would you look at me?” He asked. “Not allowed.” You mumbled picking at the carpet only rocking forward to allow your fingers to touch the carpet under you as you caught sight of his shoes. “You're allowed to look.” Dabi said as he walked towards you, he crouched in front of you, his hand coming to your chin, your hand moved faster than he had ever seen before as your ringers closest around his wrist, grip tight, he didn’t move away, he was still a good deal stronger than you and instead lifted your chin so that you were looking at him. “Who told you that you couldn’t look?” “Mum said scary, I stare.” You answered. “They lock you away?” He asked, you grunted in response. “Why? What can you do?” “People do what I say.” You answered. “Really?” He asked. “Pretty and useful.”

🔥 When you were comfortable with it, he’d have you with him when the switch over happened and before long the whole league knew about it, he’d even tell you to use your quirk sometimes to make sure that the others left you both alone. 🔥 He’d actually become more fond of your quiet personality, he loved both side of you don’t get me wrong, but the side of you that he found that night was everything that he was and he’d help pull you out of the mind set that you had been bullied into. 🔥 You both become known for torture and information gathering and just being scary in general, the heroes didn’t understand how your quirks and personalities worked and that made you dangerous. 🔥 Dabi always has you in sight, to make sure that nothing happens to you, he always worried that there would be other triggers for your personality changes and looked out for them if there were any.

“You have more control over the mind control quirk then the healing one.” Dabi mumbled one day when you were sitting in the bar, you had curled up next to him as he leaned down so that his mouth was close to your ear. “I spent a lot of time alone at night, had time to practice.” You answered. “Alone?” He asked. “They had a room that they kept me in to make sure that I never hurt anyone.” You explained. “Mmm, well once we’re done hunting down the heroes, we can make your family pay for the way that they treated you.” He muttered as he stretched his arm over the back of the sofa behind you. “We don’t have to.” You said sitting up to look at him and he smirked as he took your chin between his fingers like he had the first time that he had met this personality. “We don’t have to but do you want to?” He asked. You looked at him and you could see it in your eyes searching for your true intentions in case your words hid them, but the truth was you had been with him and comfortable for such a long time that when you spoke you told him the truth.

what do you think chrissy would think of the other party members and how she interacts with them?

Nancy: Starting with Nancy because I feel like she is the one who Chrissy would know the most before, since they’re both pretty popular and in the same grade. I’m actually going to headcanon that they were best friend (or close friends) in elementary and part of middle school but drifted apart. So when Chrissy joins the hawkin’s party, the both of them are really happy to rekindle their friendship.

Robin: I’m honestly not lying when I tell you if we had gotten even one intersection between them I would’ve been their biggest shopper, the only reason I’m more tame is because I have to imagine their dynamic and all their interactions, but if I didn’t actually have to put effort into imagining and I had it right there in front of me you would’ve completely lost me. So it’s difficult to talk about them without my shipping goggles because I just imagine Robin being completely in love with Chrissy and Chrissy being one of the only party members that actually tolerates Robin’s rambling and actually finds it endearing and she is constantly holding her hand in the upside down because she knows that Robin said she has trouble with her balance so she wants to make sure she feels safe but also holding Robin’s hand brings Chrissy comfort too, so it’s a win win.

Steve: First let me just get it out there that I headcanon that Chrissy would’ve had a crush on Steve when he was a senior, since he was one of the most popular boys in school and he’s really nice. But that’s when she was like 16 years old and she’s completely over it now but she mentions it in passing and Eddie thinks he’s got to compete with Steve now but if he should be worried about anyone it’s Robin (I’m sorry I’m always pushing the buckingham agenda I can’t help it) anyway Steve and Chrissy would be besties. The two popular kids who always felt more comfortable and accepted by the “nerds and freaks” (cue a simultaneous offended “heyyyy!!” from Eddie, Dustin and Robin)

Dustin: She loves him straight away, who wouldn’t? He’s the best character ever, impossible to dislike. She becomes yet another one of his adopted parents or older siblings (whichever you prefer) and while Eddie and Steve have the divorced parents dynamic, Chrissy is definitely his favourite. She’s constantly making sure he is okay and while Steve and Eddie are ganging up and calling him a butthead, she’s defending him.

Max: Max just got herself a new big sister. Since Chrissy and Max are going through the exact same thing, they’re literally the only other person each of them can talk to who fully understands what they’re going through and how they’re feeling. So I imagine that they have a lot of quiet talks alone and are constantly checking in on each other. But it also let’s them feel brave, for each other, because they don’t want to say that they feel like they might die in front of the other because they don’t want to scare each other so it allows them both to be hopeful and optimistic. Chrissy is the only person not from the OG party that Max writes a letter for.

Lucas: Oh boy the conversation they would have about Jason. As someone who considered him a friend, maybe even idolised him a little bit and someone who dated him but both eventually realised he isn’t as great as he seems, they’ll be able to relate to each other over that. I think it might be Lucas who would encourage Chrissy to go for it with Eddie because he tells her how awful he has felt since he’s lost Max and he tells her how much he wants her back, so Chrissy makes it her mission to try and get the two of them back together.

is it possible that shanks has a child with makino? well.. yeah. to put it bluntly, the simplest answer is usually the right answer with oda. he's already established that makino and shanks are friendly from chapter one, and shanks is even seen dressed up for a wedding on one cover page, which oda sometimes uses to tell canon events that don't fit the flow of the current arc. (think of enel's journey to the moon, for example).

me personally, though? i've got beef with this idea, and not for the reasons you might think. makino and shanks as a couple is fine to me; i don't find their relationship all that compelling, truthfully, but they fit the mold for most of oda's canon pairings.

when it comes to shanks' characterization, though, the idea of him having a child at this point in the story strikes me as both offputting and irrelevant. shanks is an emperor, and given his actions, his current responsibilities are clearly the priority. so the thought of shanks leaving makino alone to take care of their child is... strange? his status has the potential to endanger them. he is surely too preoccupied to be sailing back and forth to see them.

you could argue that this parallels roger and rouge, but i also think that's the worst possible way oda could have shanks mirror his old captain. at least in roger's case, oda had ace become a relevant part of luffy's story. what narrative purpose does this serve? is it to humanize shanks? i'm not quite sure what oda's angle is, here.

we also have to consider shanks' past. shanks left uta behind, so i don't think he is "above" leaving his newborn child, so to speak, but his reasoning in that situation was far more complex. here, though? this would be shanks ACTIVELY choosing to bring a child into this world, knowing full well he cannot take care of it until he sees his goals through. (SHANKS? patient, protective shanks, unable to wait to start a family? the boy who was an abandoned child himself? does he not believe that he will live long enough to wait? if so, why would he leave makino with that responsibility at all? characters can make selfish decisions, but i can't see any reasoning from shanks' perspective. this is a problem to me.)

so, in short, no, i'm not exactly a fan of this theory. i just don't see the merit of adding it to the story, when the implications seem to contradict what we know about his character. and again, what is the narrative benefit that outweighs the faulty logic? what do we gain as readers? what does this do for the story? to me, it feels like nothing at all.

I want to stop a moment in the answer you gave me a time ago about this wn comeback, so, even if they write them well (at first), never forget who’s behind these shows and suddenly this thing we haven’t heard about gets popular cos it has a wlw couple with amazing chemistry, they get increase in viewers so they explote it to promote their next season and then what? Sound familiar? We just can’t trust them anymore.

Third, I super totally agree with you on the Clexa lightning in a bottle. As one of the newer Clexa fans (next week will make one year since I saw the second season and told my sister “I’m sensing a little bit of the gay vibe in here, wonder who of the two will die”) I’ve seen already most of the shows one sees named in the conversation about wlw couples and let me tell you, only this one got me hooked both from the beggining and way long after its ending (hell it got me into tumblr and twitter, things I’ve never done before and I even bought a book about it “El legado de Lexa” to know more about this shitstorm her death caused). Whatever IT is, they have IT. I honestly prefer reading fics about them than get invested in a new show.

Fourth, do you really wouldn’t recommend Clexa to new fans? I mean, yeah we got hurt but they’re more than their sad story, they’re this whole community and I think that’s a beautiful thing. Personally? I wouldn’t recommend the loo but I’d tell them about Clexa warning them beforehand so they can decide for themselves? There’s this dialogue on a media fic comparing someone with a really good book that you can’t put down or let go, that even if it made you suffer and you know the ending, the feeling you got reading its unique and you just wanna keep back to it, and that’s this thing to me.

Ok so the first real thing I gotta answer is about would I rec theloo and Clexa to people who haven't heard of it. My honest answer is would I rec Clexa fic? Yes. The show? Maybe, but it'd come with A Lot of caveats 🥴. Because the thing is, and I may be alone in this thinking idk, but I'm not really sure if someone can appreciate the entirely of Clexa and Lexa, and Clarke in particular, as characters or why their dynamics and eventual love story were so amazing if they didn't watch the show. While the Clexa movie is fantastic at showing their chemistry, there's things that happen within the show that effect them and speak on who they are as individual characters that aren't ever really included in the supercuts because they aren't together in them. Which I agree with! The thing is already 3+hrs long lol. But it does matter for context and it does hold weight in their story, both together and individually, so I would have to say to really get them you have to watch the show at least up until 307. I know there's people who write fic who haven't watched the show at all and I just... no shade! But I can usually tell. Cuz it shows.

But in that same breath the show got so fucking stupid and nonsensical I, in good conscience, have a very difficult time telling people that they should watch that hunk'a shit 😒 Season 2 was its best, let's just be honest, and season 3 was JRot's bullshit Frankenstein creation that he used as a way to shoehorn in this fucking AI plot from a movie or show (I can't remember which) that didn't get picked up but he was just convinced it was brilliant. He wanted to be GoT meets Star Trek or some shit so badly I just know he was pissing himself watching dailies. So overall it's such a double edged sword because yes I want more people to love Clexa, but at the same time the show overall is so gd bad I don't wanna put them through it.

About the Ops show, someone said it is copaganda which I expected, and not even actually enemies to lovers?? And I guess the Kuroko ships bother me a bit more too, because it’s Kuroko who always gets the harem treatment and there’s just something about it that I dislike. I don’t like the idea that everyone is into Kuroko over anyone else. I guess Momoi, Nash and Hanamiya make my blood boil the most, though.

MY OT3: I don’t think I have one... I have plans to explore polyamory in my fics but that might be happening between characters who all just happen to be my OCs. :’D So, that doesn’t count.

A currently canon ship I’m okay with but don’t prefer: It’s true practically no ship is canon, except Riko and Kiyoshi being exes... or like Tsuchida and his nameless girlfriend. But I do consider Riko x Hyuuga (is there a ship name for that, I’ve never seen one?) and AoMomo being sort of canon because it has been so heavily implied. But they still don’t count for this, because they are my preferred ships. So, really can’t think of anything.

A ship that would only work in an AU but would be awesome: I also can’t think of anything, because my brain just doesn’t work in AUs... if something needs an AU to work, then to me it kind of doesn’t have a point. (My exception is dreamworld fics that contribute to my huge canonverse story. I’m not opposed to reading other people’s AUs though, I’m quite intrigued about yours!) But no, I can’t think of any ship that would be inherently interesting. Not that I couldn’t be convinced.

A ship I’d like to see explored but not stick around: Sometimes when I’m half-asleep, my brain is like... If KagaKuro broke up for a while in adulthood, I could see Kise and Kuroko having a one-night stand... but when I’m all there, I’m like, no, I’m not going to write that. (Everything that it would thematically bring to my story has been explored already, so I’m not going to repeat myself just so Kise can fulfil some teenage fantasy). So, that’s a bad answer, actually. Hmm, well, I kind of see AkaFuri as something that could happen (way in the future) but wouldn’t last. So that’s a better one.

A ship that may as well be canon:  Well, same as you, KagaKuro and MidoTaka. But also Riko x Hyuuga and AoMomo.

The ships I’d give my OTP pair if the other died: I really don’t want to think about this, but if I’m honest, yeah, if both Aomine and Kuroko ended up alone, I feel like they might end up together. Interestingly enough, I feel like the same could happen with Momoi and Kagami. I know that’s a rare pair for sure, but I’ve discovered the potential of their friendship in my fics. Under no other circumstances could I see either of these ships happening, but in these particular cases I think it would eventually happen, because in my headcanon these four keep becoming closer friends as they get older, so the pull of the person who understands your loss would probably be irresistible in the end... dear lord, I don’t want to think about this further.

A crossover ship I’d dig: This is too much for me.

A ship that would work great in a Coffee Shop AU: I don’t think I can do better than your AkaFuri idea. I'm embarrassingly ignorant of popular fanfiction tropes, to be honest.

A ship that would work great in a sitcom AU: I know this doesn’t say much, but I’ve been kind of shipping Yagi with an OC lately, I’m not sure yet, but I do think they would be funny enough together for this.
