Rebuild
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jaime Reyes x F!Reader
Summary: Everything falls into shambles as Kord tries to get the scarab from Jaime. When will it be time to rebuild?
Warnings: mentions of death and depictions of violence, SPOILERS FOR BLUE BEETLE!
Word Count: 2.5k
A/N: Part 3? Yes it is! I saw Blue Beetle for the second time yesterday with my parents and they liked it! My brother saw it with his gf and he related so that's a win in my book! Also got more inspo for this part so I hope you enjoy! 💕💕💕
I don't consent to my work being copied, reposted, or translated.
“There’s a way to get it out,” Rudy said and your ears perked in anticipation but his next words made your blood rush cold. “You’d have to be dead though”.
“What? What do you mean?” Jaime shook his head, fear casting over his gaze.
“Look, chamaco, the scarab is fusing to every cell in your body,” he pointed at the monitor and you watched as it practically covered everything in sight.
What happened before is happening to your Jaime.
You pressed your mouth into your palm, trying to contemplate it all. You stayed silent, not wanting to incite a reaction from your boyfriend just as he was already having a meltdown.
“This isn’t fair! Why does this always happen to us? I just wanted to get a job!” he exclaimed sorrowfully. “This wasn’t supposed to be my future,” he exhaled, glancing at you briefly.
It was brief but you knew all of his concerns at that moment.
Were you going to be able to be together? Did you want to love an android alien? Even if you did, are you able to? What if you wanted kids? Was he going to be able to give you that future without fucking it up? What about everything that comes before and after? What now?
He stormed off after yelling at Rudy, saying he needed to go on a walk. Wanting to chase after him, you ignored that feeling, knowing this conversation was one he needed to hear from his uncle.
Giving it a brief moment, you went upstairs, Jenny following you as you knew where he went.
“Do you hear that?” Jenny stopped you as you made the stairs to the roof.
You furrowed your brows, glancing up and hearing a low rumble. Making it onto the roof, you saw the purple lights signaling a Kord helicopter.
“They’re going home,” Jaime realized. “I gotta get over there,” he said. “I’m gonna fly,” he jumped, hyping himself up.
“You got this, baby,” you encouraged him, clapping your hands together.
“Woo!” he jutted his fists in the air but nothing appeared. “Okay, hang on,” he sighed, repeating the actions as before.
“Take your time,” Jenny reassured.
“Maybe you gotta force it out,” Rudy said nonchalantly.
“Wait, you’re a genius, Rudy!” Jaime grinned, stepping off the bench and walking backward.
“I know, what I’d say?” he furrowed his brows just as Jaime started running towards the ledge.
“Wait, Jaime!” you screamed as he jumped over but thankfully Khaji-Da made herself known.
“Woohoo!” he cheered, flying towards Edge Keys.
You don’t think you’re ever getting used to that.
~
Rudy pulled up in front of the house and your heart broke. Flames blazing out the windows and up the walls, ashes falling down to the lawn, and then your family crowded on the sidewalk came into your vision.
“Apa! No!” Milagro cried out, you and Rudy running over to help.
“Papi!” a familiar voice cried out and you turned your head to see Jaime being dragged into the helicopter. He was trapped by some device, causing him pain. You wanted to run after them, get your boyfriend back, but the chances you had standing against Kord and her bodyguard?
You admitted defeat and went back to running towards your family. You stopped a few steps ahead of you, breath hitching at the sight.
Alberto was unconscious on the ground, face pale. He had another heart attack.
Dropping to your knees next to Nana, you let the tears pour out as you stared at the man who loved you like your father never had. He was the man who looked out for you, who provided for you, the one who accepted you and welcomed you into his home after everything you lost.
Clutching to what you had left, you tried to drown out the cries of Jaime and everyone else. You tried not to pay attention to the piercing headache that’s been aching at you for the last few hours nor the sting in your eyes from the lack of sleep.
You wanted to focus on the silence, the light, something to tell you that all of this is a dream. You’d wake up from your nap, greeting Jaime and congratulating him on his job, and then you would get ready for work again and Jaime would walk you but you’d be against it since he has a big day tomorrow.
But every time you opened your eyes, nothing changed.
~
You stared blankly at the rubble before you bent down to pick up the family photo. You remembered the day.
It was a month after you had officially moved in. Your side of the room was claimed, you had a seat at the dining table, and you had your list of chores to get done. But something was still missing…
“Necessitamos una nueva foto,” Nana had stood in front of the old family photo. A picture of a younger everyone—Jaime looked so cute. “Ya, Y/N es una parte de la familia,” she gestured towards you and your heart swelled.
The next day you found yourselves at JCPenney, wearing your best clothes, being posed by the photographer.
You were smiling brightly for the first time in a while. It was all because of your family.
Running your fingers over Jaime’s face in the photo, you pressed your lips together to stop the tears from pouring down. You were already mourning one loved one, you don’t think you could handle another.
“Oye,” you heard Nana speak up, everyone gathering around her. “No es hora de llorar,” she cooed at Milagro. “We need to fight and get Jaime back because that’s what your father would’ve wanted us to do,” she affirmed and you wiped your eyes, Millie crying harder at the mention of her father.
She was right and that’s how you found yourself in the bug ship. Thanks to the help of Jenny, who you were sure felt remorse for causing this. You were handed some sort of gadget and out of the corner of your eye, you saw as Nana grabbed the biggest gun you’ve ever seen.
“How do you know how to hold that so well?” Millie questioned.
“There are many things you don’t know about your grandma,” Nana grinned and your eyes widened.
The plan was set, you would go with Jenny and Milagro to find the generator room and shut everything down to find Jaime. Following the two girls in front of you, you were dodging guards back and forth as you were instructed to place explosives on the walls.
Everything seemed to go accordingly until you and the girls had to run from the guards, you felt like you were going to escape until the ceiling above you started rumbling.
“Millie! Go!” you pushed her out of the way before it crushed her, unfortunately, you were now separated.
You called out for anyone, but it was hard as your lids grew heavy. Then everything went dark.
~
Woken up abruptly, you winced at the pain that radiated through your body. Someone was shouting at you but you could only stay still and you cried out in pain as you were lifted up. You didn’t think anything severe was broken or injured, just sore.
Suddenly you were outside, being dragged towards the same Kord helicopter. Jenny was beside you and she sent you a look, something about it was trusting and reassuring. You tipped your head, letting her know you understood.
“Y/N L/N,” a raspy voice rang through your ears.
You stared at Vicky Kord, your stomach sinking as you shifted in your seat and that’s when you realized she had a gun in her hands.
“22-year-old woman, cosmetology school drop-out, kicked out by her own family after she refused to join her family’s drug dealing business,” she smiled wickedly as she leaned forward towards you. “Works night shifts at Margaritaville and is in love with a boy named Jaime Reyes”.
You glanced down, ashamed and angry. Not many people knew your life’s story. You kept it under wraps and your found family helped you leave it in the past. But now, a Kord seemingly knows all of it.
“What do you want?” you spat.
“Oh, just one thing,” she grinned. “You think you’re on the right path, dear, but working night shifts at a bar doesn’t get you anywhere. But I can help,” she offered and you narrowed your gaze at her. “I can get you out of Edge Keys, you can make something out of yourself and truly know the meaning of hard work,” she said like a promise. “I just need you to get me the scarab,” she shrugged like it didn’t mean killing Jaime in the process.
“Being with family is me being on the right path and I don’t need you to tell me what hard work is,” you sneered.
“Like you would know anything about family,” she chuckled. “You’re really going to give up everything I can give you over a stupid Edge Keys piece of trash,” she scoffed and you grew angry.
Jaime was much more than that and you knew it deep in your soul.
About to strangle the life out of her, Jenny spoke up.
“He might be from Edge Keys, but he knows more about family than you’ll ever know!” Jenny stated firmly before she spit the gum she was chewing out, creating a bubbly goo around you three as you fell out of the helicopter.
You stood up with a groan, finding Jenny and her aunt having a one-on-one before your eyes scanned over the fiery field, and caught sight of Jaime.
“Jaime, oh my god,” you covered your mouth in shock as you ran over to him.
“Y/N,” he said like he couldn’t believe it but he snapped out of it, embracing you as he ran a hand over your hair. “I thought I lost you,” he said, glancing in your eyes, tears streaming down both your faces.
“I’m here,” you rested your head against his before he kissed you. You leaned back, granting him better access before you both pulled away. “I’m so sorry, Jaime,” you licked your lips, sobbing. “Your apá,” you shook your head, cupping his face.
“I know,” he glanced down sorrowfully. “He’s okay, I know it,” he affirmed and you sucked in a breath.
“Okay,” you pressed a smile.
Behind the two of you, Carapax was doing something to Vicky just as he walked over to you. Jaime was quick to shield you as he stopped in front of him.
“Go with your family,” he said in his deep voice and Jaime nodded, gulping.
Clutching to his arm, you looked at Jaime before he spoke.
“Go! Go to the bug ship, I’ll be there!” he pushed you towards the beetle but you shook your head. It was like he sensed something was going to happen and you didn’t like it.
“No, I’m not leaving without you!” you argued, keeping your feet planted.
“Please, just trust me,” he begged and you agreed before grabbing his face and pressing your lips together.
“You better be right about this, Jaime,” you rolled your lips together, taking in one last look at him before you broke off in a sprint.
You sat at the top of the ramp, looking out into the field to see what Jaime was doing. His face became frantic and you leaned forward as he began to run, explosions going off behind him. He made it onto the ramp but slipped until you managed to grab him.
He gasped as he looked up, a soft smile on his face. Rudy and the rest of the family helped you pull him up.
“Now we can cry”.
~
“Nana, you need help with the nopales?” you asked, kneeling down beside her as you began to pick the most viable ones.
Everyone was dressed in black. Alberto’s funeral was tear-filled. You missed him dearly, but it was time to rebuild. You’d never forget him though.
“Gracias, mija, ven ayudame,” she held her hand out and you got up, giving her support to come up as well.
The rest of the family circled around you, Jaime wrapping his arms around you as he kissed your temple.
“Now we can start rebuilding,” Nana said, holding out the little pot of cacti.
The neighborhood had come to help. Food was brought and a celebration was being made. Jenny even appeared, promising Kord Industries was going to rebuild the house and she gave Rudy a new Tailgate.
The family went to check it out while you, Jaime, and Jenny stayed back. She said something about making sure Jaime got a good job at the company and you couldn’t help but grin in a proud moment.
Things were right for once.
“Let’s take a walk,” Jaime suggested and you agreed, linking your hands together.
You stayed quiet, enjoying the soft breeze and the views of Edge Keys. Rounding the corner, you found yourselves a nice spot on the curb, sitting down next to each other.
“What now?” he asked.
“Like Nana said, we rebuild,” you hummed. “But there’s something I’ve been thinking about for a bit,” you took a breath in and he looked at you expectedly. “I think I want to go back to cosmetology school,” you announced and Jaime’s face broke out into a grin.
“That’s amazing, Y/N!” he hugged you. “What made you decide that?” he asked.
“Not sleeping puts things into perspective,” you began, ending with a laugh. “Now that Jenny is going to give the Edge Keys back to our community, I don’t need to work those night shifts anymore,” you grabbed his hands.
“I’m so glad,” he grabbed your face and pressed kisses around it. “So proud,” he said against your mouth.
“Thank you, Jaime,” you smiled.
“Maybe now that you won’t be working so much, we’ll finally get that alone time,” he wiggled his brows and you laughed.
“Oh yeah, for sure now considering we don’t have a house,” you snorted.
“We can go everywhere now,” he looked up at the sky and you glanced at him as an idea washed over his face. “You wanna take a ride?” he asked and you furrowed your brows.
“How?” you questioned. “Where?”
“Somewhere private,” he smirked and you smiled.
“You’re something else, Jaime,” you stood up, meeting his gaze as you looped your arms around his neck, pressing your body against his.
“Stop,” he exhaled, closing his eyes in embarrassment.
“What?” you grinned, searching his eyes for a guess.
“It’s nothing,” he shook off and that’s when you realized he was talking to Khaji-Da.
“What is it saying?” you grew curious.
“Just,” he dropped his gaze to your lips before he leaned in, enveloping your lips in a soft, gentle kiss. You moaned, fingers grazing his hair. “Hold on,” he broke away and your eyes widened in shock as the suit appeared.
You took off a moment later and you were flying.

hold onto me (im a little unsteady) - sokka x reader
i was listening to the song when i came up w this so feel free to listen to that if you want
summary: a late night with sokka reminds you that even on the worst days, you always have someone in your corner.
a/n: lmao this is 100% self indulgent i have no excuses. my parents are getting divorced and almost every time they're together they argue and so this is just a comfort fic after it happened again tonight bc GD i wish i had a sokka. this one goes out to all my divorce babies or people with parents that never stop arguing. you are very loved<3
wc: 1.7k, this got away from me lol
warning(s): mentions of parents arguing n shit, like the tiniest mentions of implying sex and problems with consent (in general, not with them), but this is all fluff
Tumblr media
hey. i know you’re probably asleep right now but could you come over?
It was far too late at night when you sent the text. A question asked on a whim, an offer that would most likely go ignored due to the boy on the other end being asleep.
But goddammit, you really didn’t care. Even if he didn’t respond, just hitting ‘send’ made you feel slightly better. You had already taken refuge in one of the sweatshirts he had left at your house (read: one that you had stolen and refused to give back) and as your eyes fell on the glow of the digital clock on your bedside table, you were once again reminded of how stupid this was.
But you heard the telltale buzz of a notification and all but lunged for your phone, an uncontrollable smile tugging on your lips. You didn’t know why you ever doubted him.
sokka💙: you know i never sleep babe
sokka💙: a curse of my genius
sokka💙: im omw
you’re the best thank you love<3
A pair of fuzzy socks and a refilled water bottle later, you heard the sound of something hitting your window. Though you tensed up at first, a roll of your eyes was all it took before you remembered just who you had invited over. Another smile took over as you pushed yourself off of your bed, pushing the curtains aside in time to see another pebble hit the pane.
A physical effort took place to stifle the laugh as you pushed your window up, and you leaned against the sill on your elbows to get a better look at your ridiculous boyfriend.
“Throwing rocks at my window? I think I’m stuck in a bad romcom.”
He grinned and let the remaining pebbles fall to the ground. “It’s what’s to be expected from your Prince Charming, right? Besides, I’m assuming that your parents wouldn’t just let me walk through the front door at this hour.”
You felt the heat rise to your cheeks. Just the sight of Sokka was always enough to make you feel better, and tonight was no exception. The vice on your heart was already starting to loosen. “Right as usual. Think you’ll catch me if I jump?”
He laughed and made a show of looking up and down the distance and then at his arms. “I’d like to say so, but I think we’d have better luck if I climb up.”
“You sure you can do that, big guy?” you asked with a teasing grin. He rolled his eyes with the same sentiment.
“Of course I can. I just thank nature that there’s a tree so close to your window. It’s saved me from a lot of embarrassing falls.”
You chuckled and backed away from the window, the slight chill from the night air beginning to get to you. “I’ll leave you to it while I get things ready.”
Truth be told, your room was a total mess at the moment. You knew Sokka wouldn’t care, especially not now, but it put you slightly more at ease to have something in your life that you could control. You were in the middle of shoving some previously strewn-about clothes into your closet when you heard the click of your window closing. When you turned around, you were met with your boyfriend’s smiling face.
“You’re so pretty,” you murmured as you walked over to him. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you kissed him lightly on the lips, unable to stop the blossoming smile nor the warmth that the action gave you. “Thank you for being here.”
“Of course.” The softness of his words were in stark contrast to the joking bravado from only minutes earlier, and as you stepped away from his embrace and pushed yourself onto your bed, he joined you on the other side. “And not that I’m not happy to be here, but I just wanna know. What’s going on?”
You sighed, letting one leg hang off the bed as you tucked the other in. It was a testament to Sokka’s power how quickly he had gotten you to forget about the new mess of the night. “The usual showing of fuckall and fuckup. I’m more impressed by how they never run out of things to scream at each other about.”
Your bad joke didn’t get a laugh out of him, which you were secretly glad for. Instead, he snaked an arm around your back and tugged you closer, a contented sigh falling from your lips as you nestled your head into the space between his shoulder and his head. “I’m sorry,” he murmured. “You know it’s not your fault, right?”
The phrase had gone in one ear and out the other more times than you could count from your parents, but each time Sokka said it, the words held a different weight. You knew it wasn’t your fault in the first place, but guilt didn’t care all that much for logic. You knew he meant it though, and once more the vice loosened.
“I know. But it still helps to hear it.” You glanced up at him, reaching a hand up to twist a loose strand of his hair around your finger. “You should wear your hair down more often,” you mused. “It makes you look like a prince.”
He chuckled, amusement glinting through his ocean eyes. “I did say I was your Prince Charming, didn’t I?”
You smiled, slowly uncurling his hair from your finger. “Yeah.”
“That means I’ll always be there for you. Especially to save my royal from their evil stepparents.”
Another laugh bubbled in your chest at that, and you leaned closer into him. “Thank you. The more I visit your place, the more I want your family to be mine. Hakoda is like, the nicest man I’ve ever met, and your mom? She actually makes me want to cry with how sweet she is. I think I know where you get it from.”
He grinned and bumped your leg with his own. “You know you’re welcome over there any time. But maybe you shouldn’t — I think my mom might actually adopt you with how much she loves you. That… that would be really weird.”
His joy was infectious as you planted another kiss on his cheek, something that earned you a, as you liked to call it, dazzling Signature Sokka Smile. “I’ll make sure she holds off on the adoption papers for now.”
“I’d like that.”
And though the happiness you felt at the moment was almost overwhelming, that was just what caused that tiny sliver of doubt to come in. When people invited their partners over at three in the morning, it usually wasn’t to sit on the bed and talk about their problems. It was… it was for more, and you didn’t want that right now. And because you were an expert at it, you decided to put your foot in your mouth and start talking.
“I— I’m sorry that I called you over here so late, for no reason. I know you probably expected something else than me ranting, but…” you sighed, drawing your knees closer to your chest as you brought your other hand to Sokka’s resting on your shoulder. “I’m sorry if I gave you the wrong idea.”
He sighed at that, but you knew it wasn’t one of disappointment. “You know I’m here for you. I don’t care if you just want to sit in silence for the next five hours while we stare at the wall, or if you want to watch sappy rom coms until your eyes bleed. I’m more than okay with staying like this. I didn’t come over here because I expected anything from you — I came over here because you needed me, and so I’m here.” Sokka smiled, an image you didn’t think would ever stop making you melt, and intertwined your hand with his. “This is perfect. You’re perfect.”
You were so stunned at the brazen declaration that your voice got stuck in your throat for a moment, holding back tears. (Happy tears. They were never anything other than happy tears with Sokka.) It hit you then that you didn’t really know what it was like having someone get close to you without an ulterior motive.
“Thank you,” you murmured after a moment of comfortable silence. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” You knew he was smiling, even without having to look up at him. You could hear it in his voice, feel it in the kiss he pressed to your hairline.
A comfortable silence hung in the air for a long time until you broke it. “You know… my dad kinda ran off to a motel for the night after this whole thing, and my mom leaves early in the morning. If you were serious about those rom coms…” You allowed the unsaid question of staying the night to fester so Sokka knew he could say no if he wanted to, but he didn’t even hesitate.
“Of course I was serious. I mean, I’ve gotta get the ideas for our future wedding from somewhere.”
You laughed, a sentiment that had occurred more times in the ten minutes he had been here than the past week, and picked the remote for your little box TV off of your bedside table. You clicked through various movies until you found one Sokka liked, and then you cuddled deeper into his side to prepare for the ride you had ahead of you.
Thirty minutes into 27 Dresses, he had fallen asleep, arm still around you and one of his legs slightly intertwined with one of your own. But it’s not like you minded — the familiar weight of Sokka in your bed had caused all your worries to melt away, if only for the night.
You didn’t expect him to last past the first movie, but you were sure you would at least get through until Katherine Heigl got the man. But there was an overwhelming feeling of safety permeating the air with Sokka’s arms around you, and you ended up knocked out before she could even get through all twenty seven dresses.
It wasn’t lost on you how fortunate you were — he didn’t expect anything like that from you, he just wanted you to be safe. He was there for you. You would never understand how you had gotten so lucky with your boyfriend, but you would never stop being grateful for him.

this is the most self indulgent thing ive ever written and i am NOT sorry

Prompt idea: the turtles with a friend or s/o that sleep walks.
Turtles with and S/o that sleepwalks
———-
So I based this off how my cousin sleep walks hope you don’t mind :)
Raph:
-home boy freaked out the first time he saw you sleepwalk
-he was up at night getting some cake but when he saw you walking by HO HO BOY did he jump out of his skin
-no one else was awake and you practically materialized out of the shadows!
-he eventually calmed down enough to realize that you weren’t awake
-I mean, it wasn’t exactly obvious
-you sort of walked around aimlessly a while mumbling
-that wasn’t really something sleeping people did..
-“babe, what’re you doin’ up? It’s 1 in the morning!”
-“I gotta put the salami CD’s in the chicken coop”
-“umm.. what?”
-once it finally clicked he didn’t exactly know what he should do
-was it a myth that you weren’t supposed to wake up a sleepwalking person?
-was there some sort of side affect?
-instead of intervening he just sort of sat at the table and watched
-he didn’t want to accidentally do something wrong but he also didn’t want you to get hurt
-he found himself getting up a couple of times when he thought you were gonna run into a table, moving it out of the way at lightning speed
-Other than that you were fine
-you simply walked back into your room and shut the light off
-he asked about it the next morning and you told him you sleep walk if you’re really tired
-and, sadly, being in highschool meant that you were tired all the time
-apparently you’d done it since you were little and you were used to it by now
-Raph didnt exactly know what he should do about it
-you told him you were fine and that he should leave you be, but he didn’t want anything to happen to you
-he decided the best course of action was to help behind the scenes
-that meant making sure you didn’t stay up late
-if you slept walked when you were really tired then he’d stop you from that state of feeling
-he had an alarm set for when he’d start hinting that it was bedtime
-he’s unplug the WiFi if you didn’t get the message (subtly of course) and then he’d turn around and tell you that the WiFi always got spotty when it was late
-he’d even stay up a little later to see if you were going to sleep walk
-if not then he’d head straight to bed
-but sometimes you still did it
-he’d found the best option was to just pick you up and place you back in your room
-“but the salami CD’s...”
-“they’ll still be there in the morning.”
-he’d pull you close to him and let you snuggle in close, the two of you sitting on your
-he always left before you woke up though
-yet you knew he had been there
-it was hard not to know when you woke up with a huge dip in the other side of your bed
-the two of you had a system and it worked
Donnie:
-Donnies already up and working by the time you start walking around
-the thing is, he didn’t realize you weren’t awake for probably an hour
-you were just walking from room to room and occasionally picking things up
-he was used to you being up late in his defense
-but when you ignored him or started mumbling... yeah that ripped him off
-“babe can you pass me the screwdriver?”
-“no, the radishes aren’t condensed.”
-“...I’m sorry?”
“Radishes.”
“Are you even awake?”
“I gotta go condense the radishes before Mikey finds out.”
-this boy was educated on the sleepwalking in a matter of seconds via research
-he knew you needed the rest so he never woke you up
-instead, he would find wherever you were walking around and have you stay in his room while he worked
-you never broke anything and it was nice to not be alone in a way
-besides your sleepwalking never lasted for long
-often it ended with you wandering over to him and slumping against his shoulder
-that meant he got to hold you while the night was quiet and peaceful
-the next morning you always woke back up in your own bed
-Donnie denied that he ever had anything to do with your sleepwalking
-but all you had to do was test it out to find the truth
-you walked into his room without a word one night and he didn’t even seem surprised
-“you good babe?”
-you chose not to say anything, you just kept walking
-“how are those condensed radishes doing?”
-you didn’t know what that meant but you assumed it was something you said in your sleep
-“you’re awfully quiet tonight. Usually you don’t stop talking.”
-you sit down beside him and place your head on his shoulder
-boy doesn’t even hesitate in pulling you closer and going back to work
-you don’t bother telling him that you know
-it’s nice to have someone looking out for you
Leo:
-oh he found out the first time you slept walked
-even brought it up casually the next morning
-he has insomnia so anything that happens after hours he’s already aware of it
-for the first few nights it was him joking about the cause being something supernatural
-he stopped when he thought you were getting offended though
-he diiiiid however say you were the sleep to his insomnia
-he can’t sleep at night and nothing can wake you up!
-you two balance each other out!
-and believe me, he has TRIED to wake you up to no avail
-doesn’t matter if it’s a loud noise or shaking your shoulder, nothing will wake you up
-unfortunately, since he’s always awake, he gets to see everything you do while wandering around
-AND he gets to see it while recording
-he’s got videos and videos of the random nonsense that comes out of your mouth
-and if he ever finds you cleaning in your sleep heaven knows he’s gonna find a way for you to take care of some of his chores to
-“come on, babe! You were already folding clothes! What’s a few extra?”
-he does find himself having to emergency portal you at times
-like the time you nearly walked off the skate ramp
-he portalled you into his arms as quick as he could
-“who decides to put a skate ramp right where people can fall down it?” He’s mumbling as he carries you back to his room
-having you there helps his insomnia very much
-in a way you’re both helping each other
Mikey:
-took the longest time to realize you sleepwalk
-if took him a whole two months
-usually you stayed in your own room
-he only realized when you walked into his room started picking up his art supplies while he was painting
-usually when he was painting you would plop down beside him and ask him questions (all during the day)
-but now you were picking up brushes and mumbling about how you needed to save the tomato’s before the bear ate them all
-poor baby ran to Donnie, thinking you were sick or delusional
-his older brother casually explained that it’s probably just sleep walking and he calmed down
-he was a little freaked out but grew used to it after a couple more night of it
-doesn’t really understand why you sometimes do normal things in your sleep like cleaning or fixing a sandwich
-still finds himself helping you out though
-he’ll be right next to you, folding clothes or passing you the mayo
-recently he found out he can ask you questions and get pretty funny answers
-“do you prefer hot dogs, hamburgers, or pizza?”
-“soggy bread.”
-“That doesn’t sound very appetizing.”
-always keeps you updated the next morning
-it embarrassed you to no end
-he didn’t need to hear all that stuff!
-one night he asked a less casual question
-“so how do you feel about Mikey?”
-“I would eat a thousand soggy breads for Mikey if he asked.”
-“r-really?”
-“of course. I love him!”
-that was the first time you openly said you loved him
-honestly his heart stopped for a few seconds
-he brought it up that next morning and no, you wouldn’t eat a thousand soggy breads if he asked
-but yes, you loved him to pieces

Love Languages
Tumblr media
Pairings Luke Patterson x reader
Summary Luke asks the reader what love languages are.
Warnings none but fluff :)
Word Count 1.8k (short I know but I'm working on it)
I haven’t really written on Tumblr before so don’t judge too harshly because there’s some insanely talented people on here who might judge hahaha. (hopefully not though) I don't know what the boy’s love languages are so I kind of just assumed based off of what we saw but I did see somewhere that someone said Luke’s was touch so I just went with it.
Gif is not mine so credit to the owner! I don’t know if anyone has done this idea before but I kind of like it because it popped into my head last night. Anyways, enjoy!! :) p.s. I sort of left this on a cliff hanger but idk if i’m going to continue it or not hahaha
PART 2
* * *
You were seated peacefully on the couch as you worked away on your laptop while listening to Julie and the guys practice a few songs for this weekend’s upcoming gig. You always loved listening to them practice, they sounded like absolute angels and you would never get tired of listening to them. However, Luke thought you should be doing your homework somewhere else because he didn’t want them to be distracting to you but truthfully, you really didn’t mind. If you were being honest, it actually helped you focus and the music didn’t let your brain wander.
You glanced up at the group after realizing they had stopped playing. Julie met your eyes with a warm smile, already reading your mind,
“We’re just taking a break. I got to catch up on some homework.” Julie explained to her best friend. You nodded in response, smiling slightly as she went back to work. The boys were talking amongst themselves over by the piano, using hushed voices so whatever they were talking about you or Julie couldn’t hear.
By some weird magical notion, you were able to see the boys even when they weren’t playing like Julie could. They haven’t been able to figure out why yet, though. Why you could see the guys but their other best friend, Flynn, couldn’t. Or why Luke’s parents couldn’t see him either but you still could. It was all just one big mystery they were all still unravelling. They had a theory that it had something to do with their unfinished business and the connections they all shared with one another, but that was yet to be explored with you and the boys. Julie and the boys sort of figured out how they were connected, but they hadn’t gotten that far with you yet.
Julie made an attempt one time to suggest that maybe it was because you were so close with Luke ever since you guys met, the connection just helped you see all of them, but you chose to deny that theory. Especially when Julie threw the word feelings into the mix. Julie knew all too well about your “little”crush on the lead guitarist. There was no doubt that she caught on to it right away when the pair first met and hit off right away. From there, she proceeded to question you about it once they went back to her room. Of course you denied, denied, denied, but after awhile you finally gave in and agreed to your best friend’s observation. Julie saw all the looks that you two exchanged and she knew very well about the boys talking about you here and there. It was just a matter of time until one of you finally broke and admitted your stupid feelings for one another.
“Hey..Y/n?” The cautious voice made you glance up from your computer, first looking at Julie thinking it was her who called your name but then turning your head to the boys who were glancing at you with quizzical looks.
“Yeah?” You ask glancing at Luke since he was the one who spoke up. You watch as the boys exchange a glance with one another and you push your eyebrow up in confusion. You meet eyes with Julie for a moment who was now looking between the boys and you just as confused as you were.
“We have a question.”
“Well, Luke does, but we’re curious too.” Alex cut in before you could respond. You chuckle slightly at their visible nervousness about what they wanted to ask.
“Okay, shoot.” You gave them your full attention, pushing your computer screen down and a small smile sat content on your lips. Julie also gave them her full attention too, because she was equally as curious as to what they could possibly be asking you.
“What..what does love languages mean? We heard you and Julie talking about it yesterday..” Luke’s asks softly. Oh. That was what they were asking..Your face goes a little red at the thought of them hearing your conversation yesterday since it started out as band schedule and then led into your crush per usual. You glanced to Julie for help who only shook her head with a quick shrug.
“They asked you, not me. Take it away, sister.” Julie laughed and your face went even redder. It wasn’t an inappropriate question or anything, you just didn’t really know how to describe it. Or because it meant talking about feelings and relationships which was something you didn't really want to get into with them, especially Luke.
“Uhh.. well.. I guess it’s a certain way somebody likes to express their love for someone. There’s different types of love languages like um, touch, words, gifts, spending time with that person, and doing nice things I guess..” You trail off slightly while scratching the back of your head, feeling a little flustered.
“What do you think my love language is?” Alex asks excitedly, not really to you but just to anyone who would answer him.
“I see yours being affirming words or something like spending time with them. You always love it when someone compliments you and reassures you if you’re having too much anxiety about something.” Julie cuts in with a smile and Alex points to her to say she was correct. Julie chuckles and you do too.
“Reggie, yours would definitely be gifts or like spending time with people. You always like to hang around Ray and stuff.” You say glancing at Reggie who smiles warmly at your statement.
“What about me?” You met eyes with Luke who was softly looking at you. You avoided Julie’s burning gaze into your head and Alex and Reggie’s small smirks as they waited for you to answer. You flushed again, looking to Julie for help who only shrugged. They both knew you knew the answer, that was what you guys had been talking about yesterday.
“I’m..I’m not really sure..” You lied and you hated the small hint of disappointment in Luke’s eyes. You quickly looked away and started to reopen your laptop.
“Hey, I’m hungry, I’m gonna grab some snacks. Y/n do you wanna come with?” Julie asks making an escape for you to avoid the now awkward tension in the room.
“Yeah. Yeah.” You were quickly nodding your head and jumping up from your laptop. You didn’t even wait for Julie as you made a beeline for the garage doors and pushed them open, hurrying up the pathway to Julie’s house.
Julie exchanged a knowing glance with the boys, reading Alex and Reggie’s glances before following after you saying you’d be back in a minute. You were pacing around on the patio when Julie finally got to you. She raised her eyebrows slightly trying to read your thoughts.
“Y/n, why did you lie? That could have been the perfect opportunity to tell him how you feel.” Julie says and you shoot her a small glare.
“Julie, he doesn’t like me like that. I just didn't want to embarrass myself but I guess I embarrassed myself even more by saying nothing.” You admit, slowing your pacing to look Julie in the eye. She lets out a small laugh.
“I don’t think you embarrassed yourself. You were just flustered which is understandable, but I say go for it. You never know what can happen. The Y/n I know doesn’t back down from a challenge either.” Julie puts a comforting arm on your shoulder and you were thankful for it. You squeeze her hand in response.
“Thanks. I don’t know, I guess I’ve just never felt this way about someone before..” You trail off and Julie squeezes your shoulder even tighter,
“Look, I get it, it’s scary, but you can do it. Think of this as me encouraging you to talk to him like you did for me and Nick. Just go for it. Have some confidence.” Julie winked at you and you chuckle at her actions.
“There’s the Y/n I know. Now come on, we still need to get snacks. I gotta make my lie somewhat believable.” Julie nudged your side before making her way inside as you followed after he with a laugh.
The two of you walk back into the garage a few moments later where the boys met your glances. Luke was now moved onto your spot on the couch while Alex and Reggie hung around by the piano still. You rolled your eyes that Luke took your spot but at least he was gracious enough to move your computer. You walked over to him where he smirked as you made an attempt to move him out of the way.
“Get out of my spot.” You tease trying to move Luke out of the way again but he didn’t budge and instead kept holding that smirk on his lips. You rolled your eyes so you instead took a seat beside him and grabbed your laptop from the coffee table.
“I’ll move if you tell me what you think my love language is.” Luke says and you quickly met his eyes. You glanced at Alex, Reggie, and Julie for a moment where they only shrugged. You huffed under her breath knowing you had no way out of this now.
“I don’t know.” You say simply trying to get off of the topic but Luke kept pushing. He leaned in closer towards you and you could feel his breath on your neck.
“I think you do..” Luke says and you meet his gaze again. You purse your lips together before glancing back at your computer for a moment.
“Touch.” You say plainly and simply. You refused to meet Luke’s eyes as you furthered your answer, “I always noticing you touching Alex or Reggie in one way or another. Whether it’s something small or a hug or just a reason to touch them. It’s sweet.” You finish a small smile on your lips as you opened the tab you had been working on previously. A comfortable silence filled the room and you felt pretty content with your answer. It wasn't as bad or as embarrassing as you thought it would be. Luke was silent beside you and you were afraid to look at him so you just kept her gaze on your computer.
You didn’t actually know if you could touch the boys, you just assumed you couldn’t because Julie was the only one with the real special powers. You had just been randomly gifted parts of them somehow. You all just walked around each other because the guys found it slightly weird to just walk through people they knew. Luke stared at you beside him and he wanted to at least try. If anything, his hand would just fall through like it did with everyone, so slowly and carefully, Luke reached out to turn your chin so you would look at him. The guys raised his eyebrow at his movements and then, he touched you.
You felt his hand under your chin and you both did a double take. Luke quickly pulled his hand away in surprise that you actually felt that. The two of you exchanged a wondering and surprised glance.
“We just touched..”

The September Session
18+ Jungkook Birthday Smut
The Studio Sessions Finale
Tumblr media
A weekend birthday getaway in Jeju with Jungkook. A smut and angst filled finale to the Studio Sessions.
Words: 9075
Warnings: 18+ smut. M/F sex, M/F-F/F oral, unprotected sex, rough sex, swearing, cheating (?) poly relationship
Tumblr media
"I don't think you can fit anything else in there. You know you're only going for 2 days right?" Yoongi picked up a pair of your lacy underwear and went for the free throw into your bag. "If I know anything about you and Jungkook, it's that you won't even need clothes."
"Only 2 days? Are you really that unbothered by me leaving?"
"I know how to pick my battles." He undid his zipper and gave you a crooked little smile. "You'll make it up to me."
"Will I now?" It was supposed to sound teasing but your knees were already on the hardwood. Pulling his soft cock out of his jeans, you wrapped your hand around him.
"You're gonna be a good girl and drain my cock before you leave, yeah?"
You tongued his tip as he grew harder twitching in your palm.
"Every last drop." You suctioned him soft and slow not wanting to leave him unfulfilled.
"Fuck, yeah…" his eyes were closed as he pumped himself into your waiting mouth.
Wanting to take it to the bed, you pulled back, but he stopped you by catching your hair. Wrapping his hand securely around it, he held you still and picked up the pace. Granting him full access to your throat, you dropped your drool-covered hands while he used your face to get himself off.
His deep moans and breathy exhales were his tell. His balls bounced off your chin and with the last few aggressive thrusts, he shot his hot load onto your waiting tongue.
"That was good." He tucked himself away into his pants and extended his hand to help you up.
"I've gotta go." He kissed your cheek. "I've got a meeting with that new group in 20 minutes. Have fun okay."
He opened the door and he was gone. No sexual reciprocation, no I love you, just a, "have fun."
It wasn't like him and you were left trying to determine if he was giving you the cold shoulder because he was upset or even worse, if he wasn't upset about you leaving at all.
An abrupt knock on the door broke you out of your thoughts. All worries were forgotten when you opened it to find Jungkook grinning ear to ear.
"Are you ready Noona? The car's gonna be here in 10 minutes."
Grabbing your bag off the bed, he flung it over his shoulder like it was nothing.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world. Have you thought about your birthday wish?"
He pulled you in with his free hand. "You've already made it happen. I can't believe I get you all to myself for 2 days."
You pulled the door shut behind you and kissed him. "I'm all about making birthday wishes come true."
The car rolled up the tarmac where the private plane sat in wait. The red-carpeted stairs extended, greeting you like royalty.
"You booked a private flight?"
His nose scrunched in happiness at your surprise. "Nothing but the best for you." He kissed the back of your hand before leading you up the stairs.
"You know this isn't supposed to be about me right?"
"I may have some ulterior motives." He said as he clicked his seatbelt into place.
"Yeah? Is this a mile-high club mission Jungkook?"
Even though your chairs were face to face and his eyes were hidden behind his bucket hat, his smile said it all.
"Trust the plan Noona."
Shortly after takeoff, the intercom dinged. "You may proceed to move around the cabin freely."
Jungkook unfastened his seatbelt and stood to lean over your seat. Grabbing the side lever, he reclined your chair back and moved in for a passionate kiss that immediately made your toes curl in anticipation.
Humming in delight he broke away and knelt on the floor. His fingers dragged delicately up your skirt. "What am I going to find under here, how well do you know what I like?" Pulling your thighs apart he sucked air through his grinning lips. "No panties. You really do know. "
"It's easy." You felt desperate for the pleasure you knew he was capable of inflicting. "We both always want the same thing."
"And what is it we want, Noona? Hmm, tell me."He was staring, lost in the sight of his fingers toying with your sex.
Reaching out you tipped his chin until his eyes locked with yours. God, you wanted to but couldn't.
You had to stop yourself from telling him that what you really wanted was more than 48 hours. You bit your tongue to keep it from spilling the words, "I want to run away with you and never go back." So instead, you went with what was easy and what you thought he wanted to hear. "I think we want to cum at 32,000 feet."
They must have been the words he was expecting because a devilish grin appeared at your response.
"48 hours," He lifted your foot to rest it on the seat." Of nothing," he lifted the other foot. Sliding his hands behind you, he pulled your hips forward. "but pure," He dropped his head and laid a long languid lick up your cunt.
"Pleasure." You finished the sentence not wanting him to use his mouth for anything else let alone words.
His hum of agreement sent shivers of anticipation down your spine. You gazed at his face intently. He liked when you watched. Splaying you open with his fingers, your engorged pink nub stood begging him for attention. You bit your lip trying to hold your noises in, squirming as he teased it with the tip of his tongue drawing slow circles around it.
You pulled at his long hair and begged, "Stop teasing me Kookie."
His mischievous amber eyes glinted under the cabin's bright lights. "It's an hour-long flight, and I forgot my headphones. You're just going to have to be my entertainment."
You hadn't touched each other in a while, and Yoongi had been too preoccupied with work to even notice you were around. Other than giving his pre-departure blow job you'd had no action in at least a week.
You knew if you whined enough he'd give in. "I can't be patient, when my pussy knows what it's been missing, Jungkook."
"You're spoiled," he mumbled into your cunt.
You tried to sit upright, but he held your hips down and stuck 2 fingers inside you.
"I'm spoiled? The last of the sentence trailed off quickly into soft submission under the strokes of his fingertips on your g spot.
"Is that better?" He took delight in knowing you were instant jello.
"I missed you."
His fingers kept a steady pace as he kissed you. Soft, constant, his tongue lingered, his mouth catching your moans.
"I just want you to feel good. Tell me where you want my mouth."
"Please Jungkook, you know what I want."
"Say it, for me, for my birthday." He was pouting in between kisses. "I just want to know that you want me."
"I want you so fucking bad Jungkook. I want you to suck on my tits and finger me until I cum."
He was grinding his cock against the edge of your seat when the plane started shaking.
"Please fasten your seatbelts. We're going through a patch of thermal turbulence that should only last a few minutes."The voice from the cockpit didn't phase either of you.
His free hand pulled your shirt up and your bra down, exposing your hardened nipples just above the lace cups. Grabbing the seatbelt, he clicked you in and pulled the strap tight. "Safety first," he barely muttered before locking on to your breast.
The plane shook violently, heightening every sensation. His fingers and the jolting of the plane had your pussy dripping down his hand. "Jungkook." Your moans were high and you couldn't care less if anybody heard. You were almost done. Watching him rut his hips against the vibration of the seat, eyes closed, as his mouth latched greedily at your chest was sending you into overdrive. "I'm gonna cum, are you gonna cum for me, baby?"
His face screwed up in pleasure and his moan was long and drawn. Seeing him reach his height, you clenched around his fingers as they continued their assault on your sex until you too were satisfied.
"Shit," he stood up revealing the huge wet spot in his jeans. "I don't have a change of clothes in my carry-on."
Undoing your seatbelt, you leaned forward and untucked his t-shirt making sure to kiss his abs along the way. Well, thank god for baggy shirts."
Tumblr media
You tucked the last of your clothes inside the drawer. "So what's the first thing on our birthday weekend to-do list?"
"Well, there's parasailing, scuba diving, jet-skiing…." He kept listing.
"You know we can't do it all right? You're going to have to narrow down your choices a little."
"Aish, come on Noona. I brought you because I thought you could keep up."
You stood between his legs as he sat on the bed. "Is that why you brought me, Jungkook? Because we share an affinity for water sports?"
His hands groped your ass before he pulled you down on top of him.
"Amongst other things," he giggled while tickling you. "Jimin's fun to hang out with but he never puts out."
"Oh my god, Jungkook." You rolled your eyes and stood back up. "If we're going to get even one of those things on your list done we'd better leave now." You extended your hand to help him up. "Let's go."
____________________
You were soaked. Jungkook was taking great delight in the jumps he created by running the jet ski in circles over his own wake. Hanging on to his waist tightly you were surprised he could still breathe.
"Are you okay back there?" He stopped the watercraft to check-in. Do you want me to slow down?"
"Did you hear my safe word?" You took a teasing nip at his bare wet tricep."
"Not yet but I'd really like to."
A hot blush crept up your cheeks. It wasn't like Jungkook to suggest anything wild, and it threw you off.
"Are you asking?" You could see his ears turning red and he took a minute to answer.
"You're just hanging on so tight."
You didn't want him to hold back, so you prompted the response. "And…"
"The thought of me in control and you, a little scared, kind of turns me on."
Pressing your face against the expanse of his wet skin, you wondered if he could feel your smile.
"Do you see that island?"
You pointed. "I want you to take me over there."
"Do you want me to go fast?"
"I think we both want you to go fast."
"Then you should hold on."
As he restarted the jet ski your hands made their way back around him but this time they ended up in his shorts. Sneaking past the mesh liner, your fingers gave a little tug on his thick wet pubic hair. His already semi-hard cock came to life in your hand in anticipation of the attention it was about to receive.
There were no trespassing signs posted all around the small island. "I don't know Jungkook, maybe we should just go back and fuck in the room." You said it, not because you meant it, but because he wanted to play.
He pulled the ski up onto the shore. "You can't just tease me like that and make me wait, Noona. Let's go."
He began trekking into the patch of dense greenery, and you wondered if someone actually lived here.
Stopping just under sufficient cover of vegetation, he grabbed you and pulled your bathing suit bottoms down and pushed you against a nearby tree. "You're driving me crazy in this fucking bikini." He tugged his shorts down and needing no prep thrust himself into you.
The bark was rough against your skin, your back scraping with every upward thrust he pumped into you.
"Hello!" Echoed around you. "This is private property."
"Fuck, Jungkook, let's go!"
"I'm not done." He clamped his hand over your mouth. "Shhh, stop moaning so loud or they'll find us."
"I know you're out here I saw you seadoo on the shore." The voice carried across the island getting closer.
"Wrapping your leg around him, you grabbed his hair and moaned into his sweat-beaded neck. "We're gonna get caught, Kookie."
"Let them watch. I'm not stopping until I fill your cunt."
Your back felt raw, but the pleasure and pain of an adrenaline fuck was worth it.
"Are you afraid of someone seeing us? What happened to my brave girl?"
"Are you hurt, do you need help?"
The snapping sound of a twig breaking under a footstep was close. Too close, but also just enough of a thrill to spur on a hot flood of Jungkook's cum deep inside you.
Just as you got your bottoms back up the old man appeared.
"This is private property, are you looking for something?"
"Sorry," Jungkook turned on his charms." Our intake got clogged with some debris so we pulled over to clear it." He pointed at you, "you know women and their small bladders, she always has to go. She got scared when she heard you so we didn't answer. Sorry."
The old man laughed. "I've been married 4O years I know all too well.
You were surprised at Jungkook's ability to spin a story so quickly but more impressed that he was unflappable in his determination to cum at all cost.
Apologizing to the man once again you walked back to the jet ski.
"Shit are you okay?" He ran his fingertips gently down your back.
You stood on your toes and kissed his lips. "Did you hear my safe word?"
"I did not." He grinned.
"Well, I guess you'll just have to try harder next time."
____________________
His eyes rolled and he hummed in enjoyment. "Umm it's so good, it's like a dessert orgasm."
"I can't believe you're replacing me with chocolate." You pulled a pout. "Don't waste yourself on whipped cream Jungkook, I've got bigger plans for pleasure tonight."
"As much as I want to do unspeakable things to you, I'm not ready to go back to the room." He took the last bite and leaned back in his chair, stretching, completely satisfied. "I thought we could go to this place called Factory. Yugyeom told me it was really cool."
"Sounds fun." You couldn't help but grin at how naive his thinking was.
Licking your finger, you rubbed it through the powdered sugar on his plate and popped it in your mouth. "Silly you think we need a bed for me to get you off."
"You're a crazy woman."
"Crazy for you Jungkook."
The club was dark and crowded. He blended in well. The University students, looking to let loose for the weekend, offered a camouflage of anonymity he wasn't usually afforded in public spaces.
"Whiskey?" He took your hand and led you to the bar. "It's your weekend. I'm letting you call the shots." It was too loud to hear the groan you knew accompanied the eye roll at your bad pun but you were satisfied by his smile.
"To us." He clicked your glass.
The liquor went down smooth and warm, causing welcome tingles through your body. Coupled with the wine you'd had with dinner you'd hit the perfect peak of lowered inhibitions and pure bliss.
"Your glowing Noona." He kissed your forehead.
"And why wouldn't I be Kookie? I'm in paradise with my boyfriend. Come dance with me."
You noted the look of satisfaction on his face as he led you to the floor and wrapped his arms around you tightly. Nuzzling into your neck, he swayed with you slowly to a pace that didn't match the fast music of the club. Whether it was the alcohol or the sheer intoxication of longing you couldn't be sure, but you could feel his heart thumping against you.
Stopping completely, his hands cupped your face, and he stared into your eyes.
"What's wrong, Jungkook?"
His cheeks burned hot, and he was fighting his smile from appearing too eager. "Do you think you could call me your boyfriend again?"
You nodded. "I'd really like that."
His lips found yours and time stopped around you. Abandoning all common sense, you were both picturing what your together forever could look like.
He broke away out of breath and slightly overwhelmed.
"I think I'm ready to take you back to the hotel."

Stretching out naked and satisfied beside him you glanced at the clock, 12:36 am. You turned your head back and placed a kiss on his chest. "Happy birthday Kookie."
A little drunk and a lot in love you felt secure enough to ask. "Are you happy?
He let out a giggle, and you were 100% positive that if the lights were on his dimples would look like deep canyons etched into his cheeks.
"So happy…" his soft snores gave away just how content he was with the moment.
"I love you," you whispered. Maybe he wasn't awake but it counted. A full commitment to your feelings. Eager to reaffirm your words, you drifted off knowing that tomorrow you'd make sure he knew just how happy he made you.
Tumblr media
"Where do you think you're sneaking off to?" He grabbed your hand and pulled you back down on top of him.
"I was getting up to call room service so you could have breakfast in bed." You feigned annoyance half-heartedly to getaway.
"Food can wait." He wrapped his arms around you and started kissing your neck. "It's the first time we've spent an entire night together. I really like waking up beside you."
"So you mean you don't want to go on that five-hour hike you booked months ago because you really, really, really wanted to do it?"
Surrendering into his stronghold, you teased him. "Because I'm totally okay just hitting up the spa."
He groaned in hangover.
"Shit. I totally forgot."
"Should I go order us some coffee and food now?"
"Probably."
"Are you going to let go of me?" You squirmed under his arm.
"Hmm...5 more minutes."He giggled, throwing his leg over you.
____________________
Pulling the car up to Mt. Hallasan you both stared at the daunting task before you. "Are you sure you can handle it?" He popped the trunk and grabbed your backpack.
"Do you doubt my abilities, Jeon?"
"Normally, no." He hoisted the bag onto your shoulders. "But this knapsack weighs a ton. Seriously, what's in here?"
"Mind your business and worry about yourself, sir." Raising his hands in apologetic surrender he closed the trunk, "Alright, let's get it!"
Trying to set a steady pace the timing had to work out just right. You couldn't tell if he was getting frustrated or being chivalrous, but at least once every half-hour he asked if you wanted him to take your bag.
"Did you know they don't let anyone climb after 1:30 because they don't want people stuck after sunset?"
"Is that your way of calling me slow, Kookie?" You stopped in your tracks and starred. "I didn't know you were so afraid of breaking the rules. Do you want to turn around and go back?"
"Noona, did you wake up this morning with the intention of being a pain in my ass?"
"That's just rude," you huffed. Arguing was one way to buy some time. "I can't believe you don't even appreciate that I'm out here climbing a fricken mountain for you."
"If you're serious, I'm sorry." He walked closer to you and kissed your cheek.
"It's fine." You walked away smiling. "Now if you'll stop stalling, we can still make the summit by sunset."
He paused, flabbergasted, but decided to stay quiet and move on.
____________________
Finally reaching your destination it was perfect. Sunset from the highest peak in Jeju was in full bloom. Everyone had been moved swiftly along by the trail guides, so it was just you, Jungkook, and the stunning view from 6388 feet above the world.
"Wow, look at this, Noona. We're on top of the world." He took off his backpack and dug for his camera.
"I feel that way whenever I'm with you, mountain or not." You tapped his shoulder and handed him the present you'd been carrying."
His eyes and smile were more dazzling than the sun glinting its way over the horizon. "Is this why you wouldn't let me carry the bag? It's so heavy."
"Open it!"
Tearing the paper off, his jaw dropped. "Is this a Hasselblad?"
You nodded. "Did I do good?"
"This is unbelievable! It's one of the best cameras in the world."
"I did a lot of research."
He was still in shock. "It's too much. I can't possibly accept this."
"Don't be silly Jungkook, It's all ready to go. I had them set it up for you. I was kind of hoping you'd take some pictures for us," You suddenly felt shy. "You know, so we can look back on this and remember how great it was."
"It's unbelievable. You're unbelievable!" All trepidation at accepting the gift forgotten, he began taking pictures.
By the time he was satisfied with the scenery, he turned to focus the lens on you.
His camera crosshairs found you sitting on the ground. A blanket, a bottle of wine and a cupcake with a candle. His smile peeked out from under the camera as he snapped your picture. "All this too?"
"I wish it was more but I could only carry so much." You passed him the bottle, "I couldn't fit cups, I hope you don't mind."
He leaned in for a kiss. "It's perfect. I honestly couldn't dream of a better day. Thank you."
"So are you going to get down here and blow out this candle before it's completely melted?"
He sat on his knees and closed his eyes. Concentration crept over his features until he seemed satisfied enough to blow.
"What could the man who has everything possibly wish for?"
He smiled brightly, "Don't jinx me. You know if I tell you it won't come true."
You wanted it to be about you, and you wanted it to come true so badly that you didn't ask any more questions.
"Come sit with me." He kissed the top of your head once you were settled, secure in his arms. "I should have gotten out of bed sooner. We could have had more time up here."
"You've got a few hours." You said it nonchalantly like you hadn't had to name-drop and beg the parks department.
"They're letting us hike after dark?"
"Sort of? There's an ATV waiting at the Seongpanak shelter we're going to use to get back down the mountain."
"I get to ride an all-terrain down the mountain?"
"Yeah, I thought you'd like that part."
____________________
The air in the room was cold as you stepped from the steamed-up bathroom. "It feels so good to get that hiking dirt off. You should have joined me.
"Rubbing the towel through your wet hair, you realized you were alone.
"Jungkook?" Checking through the suite's other rooms and even opening the hall doorway, he was nowhere to be found.
Glimpsing an out-of-place white shirt on the beach you made your way out the patio doors.
"Jungkook?" If he heard you coming, he didn't turn around.
Sitting behind him in the sand, you wrapped your arms and legs around him and squeezed. "It sure is a beautiful night." Sighing he leaned back to rest his head against you.
"Are you okay?" He didn't answer. He didn't need to. You could see the shimmer of his tears in the moonlight.
"What are we doing, Noona? How do we all come out of this happy?"
You wrapped your arms around him a little tighter.
"I don't know, Kookie. It was never supposed to be like this. I was silly to think I could ever resist your charms."
"Sure blame me."
At least he was grinning from your flattery now.
You ran your fingers through his hair and smiled trying to ease the heaviness.
"Do you see that Star up there?" The waves broke on the shore in the background. "I'm confident it will always lead me in the right direction."
"Like fate?"
"Like fate." You nodded, agreeing. "I'd really like to think that the universe had a reason to bring us together."
"What do you think the reason is?" Freeing himself from your embrace, he asked the question in all seriousness.
"Happiness." You answered like you knew. "Even if we can only have it in small increments."
"I can't believe you just live your life accepting that things will turn out. Does anything scare you Noona?"
It was against your better judgment, but his vulnerability always had a way of breaking down your walls. "Me?" You laughed. Perhaps he didn't know you as well as you thought.
"I'm terrified, Jungkook."
Taking notice of the new sadness in your eyes, he took your hand and held it patiently, waiting for your words.
"One day you're going to find someone who can give you their whole heart." The sobs came out loud and uncontrollably. "Without any compromises, you're going to finally have all the happiness and love you deserve. And I'll be watching it all from the sidelines, wondering if it could have been me."
"It can always be you. But that's your choice to make."
Salty tears fell down your cheeks, and you were too emotional for any words to come out coherently.
"Shhh, it's okay, I've got you." He encompassed you in his arms. "I'm sorry. Let's just enjoy the rest of our time here together." He looked at his watch. "We've still got 11 more hours before we have to give up the fantasy. Let's not think about the real world right now."
Raw, emotional and completely vulnerable. Everything you wanted in a man was right before you.
You sniffed feeling relieved the conversation, at least for now, was over. "11 hours huh? We can have sex at least 5 more times."
He stared with a look that almost bordered on pity. "You know I didn't ask you here just so we could have sex. I'm perfectly happy just getting to spend time with you."
"It's all I know, Jungkook. I don't know how to show people I love them without it." It was a sad truth. "Besides, you're really good at it."
A half-hearted smile graced his lips.
"Can we make an agreement?" He stood and reached to help you up.
"What's that?" You kissed him.
"What if instead of 5 times we just do it once. But properly."
Walking up the shore back to the room you kept stealing glances. His long dark curls and sun-bronzed skin shone in the moonlight accentuating his ethereal beauty. Your heart was happy and broken at the same time.
____________________
Laying naked in bed your heart was racing. You'd never felt nervous with Jungkook before, but this seemed different.
Something about your conversation on the beach had you playing the lyrics to "if I'd known it was the last time" through your head.
The sound of the shower shutting off struck a chord of permanence you weren't ready to face and a tear rolled off your cheek onto the pillow. Quickly wiping it away you didn't want your worry to ruin the last night you had together.
The bathroom door opened and Jungkook came out in a cloud of steam. Towel wrapped around his waist, the water droplets still clinging onto his chest made him look even more beautiful than you thought possible.
He smiled when he noticed your gaze and swiftly moved to untuck the small corner of terry cloth that secured his covering.
His lips were parted and his breath was heavy as he stood before you completely bare. His cock wasn't hard, and his display didn't even seem sexual. It was as if he was showing you his soul and you felt guilty not reciprocating his vulnerability.
Pulling the sheets back you swung your legs off the bed and walked over to where he stood. Face to face you pressed yourself against him, feeling his warmth radiate through you.
"I love you." He whispered.
Kissing down his chest you took your time letting your lips linger over every firm muscle. Licking hot wet stripes over his hardened nipples, his body shivered, goosebumps rising on his skin.
Not a word was spoken, you didn't need them. Everything was being said in a physical language that only the both of you were fluent in.
Your nose skimmed down the soft hairs that pathed his lower abdomen, his cock growing firmer the closer your mouth got to it.
Dropping to your knees, you took him in your hand stroking him reverently. Gorgeous and thick the freshly washed skin of his cock smelt like strawberries and you couldn't resist him a second longer.
Wrapping your lips around him, you sucked soft and slow. God how you wanted this to last all night.
"Noona." Your name slid softly out of his mouth while you suckled his length.
Lingering a bit longer, you wanted to remember how he looked right now. So full of pleasure, the kind only you'd ever given him. You hoped he'd never forget how good you were together.
When you stopped, he looked down and stroked your cheek. You could see in the deep brown sadness behind his eyes that he too was trying to harvest as many memories of the moment as he could.
He held his hand out to help you up and pulled you back in close to him. Tilting his head and displaying a sympathetic smile he didn't break eye contact as he danced with you towards the bed.
Despite the heavy air you couldn't help but giggle as he twirled you, lying you back onto the crisp white hotel sheets. Standing at the edge of the bed his large hands travelled down your thighs and spread them apart. It was his turn to take station on the floor. Starting at the inside of your knee he alternated kisses back and forth giving each leg equal attention until his mouth reached your needy mound.
As much as you wanted to watch, your eyes involuntarily clamped shut in pleasure as his tongue explored you.
A master with his mouth, he knew all of your hot spots. Circling your clit and teasing it to swollen attention he'd switch to slow methodical sucks, lips wrapped around your pink bud giving it head until you squirmed. As soon as you were close, he stiffened his tongue and fucked you with it, darting in and out and in.
As your legs started to shake at the onset of orgasm, a sign that he knew all too well, he revoked his mouth. Climbing on the bed he helped you pull your legs up and lay beside you. His hands travelled over your body slowly committing every one of your curves to his memory. His fingertips on your skin sent white lightening to your brain and his mouth latching onto your nipple made your insides roll like thunder.
"Jungkook…"
"Shhh.." He placed his mouth on yours and your heart panged at how much you missed his lips when they weren't attached to yours. As skilled as he was at everything else tongue-related, you wouldn't trade his kisses for any other sexual act in his repertoire.
Pausing his kiss, he locked his eyes with yours. A silent "are you ready?" passed between you.
With a simple nod, you pulled him back to you. His body moving from beside you to on top of you had your head reeling. The longing for satisfaction was fighting with your desire to drag this on all night.
You surrendered. You needed to stop thinking and to let yourself go to what you knew would be your last time.
Tipping your chin he once again connected to your longing lips while his hands slowly travelled down your thigh. Raising your leg and hooking it over his arm he created the perfect angle for entrance.
Pushing slowly, his girthy length slid into your sex and he paused.
Eyes closed, time stood still. The heavy anticipation hung in the air like a storm cloud.
He kissed you. Kissed you like it was the first time, the last time. His lips not once leaving yours as he softly made love to you.
You couldn't cum and you didn't care. The connection you were feeling with him right now was better than any orgasm.
You knew he was close and your heart was breaking at the realization that this was it. You didn't want him to think he hadn't satisfied you because he had. He had in so many more ways than you ever thought possible. Moaning in unison you cried out one last time as he filled you with a future that wasn't meant for you.
The kisses lingered until the activities of your long day finally defeated his longing to stay awake. His chest rose and fell with what you wished was a peaceful sleep.
Laying tucked under his arm, your cheek rested just over his heartbeat. "I love you too."
Tumblr media
You'd both been awake a while but you lay in silence trying to absorb whatever last remnants of the weekend you could. Someone had to speak first, so you took the hit.
"We should probably get out of bed. Our flight leaves in 2 hours."
His fingers intertwined with yours and he lifted your hand to his lips.
"You were wrong on the plane, you know." He sighed and placed a small kiss on your knuckles. "When you said we always want the same thing."
You wiggled out of his embrace and propped yourself on an elbow to interrupt him. "Don't we? I thought we had a really good time this weekend."
"I did, but," he looked like he might cry. "You're lying there thinking about going home, and I'm running schemes through my head about how I can find a way for us to stay."
"Jungkook," you collapsed back into his side. "You know that's not how this works." A tear slipped from your eye and you hoped he wouldn't notice it. "We've had a good couple of days, let's not ruin it with what if's."
"All I have are what if's Noona.
I don't understand why you won't choose me."
You'd never seen him this upset before.
"Yoongi Hyung, he doesn't deserve you. If you were mine, I'd never share you. You'd get everything you needed from me, and you wouldn't have to go anywhere else to find it."
"It's not that simple, Jungkook."
"Well, it seems pretty simple to me. The only reason I can think of is that you don't really love me the way I love you."
Pulling away from him, you tucked your knees into your chest and wrapped your arms around yourself. His words made you feel like a small piece of nothing.
"Please don't ever believe that...I couldn't stand the thought of you not knowing how much I fucking love you."
He didn't move to comfort you, and you could tell this conversation wasn't going to steer easily. He was building a wall around his heart and you could feel it getting further away from you with every passing minute.
"Have you ever thought about what would actually happen if I left Yoongi for you?"
"Yeah, every damn day. We'd be happy, he'd get over it," He snapped defensively.
I'm not talking about you and me, Jungkook. I'm talking about you and him. Do you ever think about that? I can already see that this is fracturing your relationship with him."
He dropped his head in realization, still not looking you in the eye.
"Why are you doing this now?" Crying uncontrollably the words barely got out. "Why can't we just keep going on like this? I thought we were happy? I thought we were in love?"
His breath was shaky,
"I brought you here because I had to see. I pulled out all the stops to woo you and it still wasn't enough."
"So on the plane when you said, "trust the plan" you knew that it was going to end in an ultimatum? That even If I didn't choose you at least you'd get fucked a few more times?"
He stood his ground, face stoic until he finally looked at your tear-stained cheeks. His jaw relaxed and his sadness finally revealed itself.
"I can't be second place. Not with something that matters so much to me. Not with you."
He got out of bed and headed to the shower. "We'd better hurry up. Like you said, we don't want to miss our flight."
Other than formalities the next few hours were mostly empty.
Standing, waiting for your bags, Jungkook finally broke his silence.
"I sent Yoongi a message asking him to come get you. I think I'm gonna spend some time at my condo for a bit."
Perching the Sunglasses that disguised your swollen eyes on the top of your head, you gave it one last try. "I Love you Jungkook. Please don't do this…"
"We both know I'm not enough. What do you want from me?"
You were hyperventilating.
"I don't want to lose you."
He kissed your cheek in a way that seemed like it might be a real goodbye. "We both know there's only one way that can happen."
Grabbing the handle of his suitcase, he turned back a final time. "I had a really great birthday. I guess I'll see you around."
Making your way to the second Suburban in the pickup line, you stood and watched as Jungkook pulled away in the first. How were you going to hide how sad you were from Yoongi?
The driver came around and opened your door to expose the emptiness of the huge van.
"Where's Yoongi?"
"Sorry, we only received an airport pick-up call, ma'am. Will you be going back to the HYBE building today?"
"No, thanks. I don't think that I will."

Y/N: Hey
MIN: Hey! Sorry I couldn't come to meet you. So much work.
MIN: I hope you had a good time. MIN: Come down to the studio when you get back.
Y/N: I was thinking it would be nice for us to spend some alone time at the condo.
Y/N: Could you come after work? Take a few days off?
MIN: I can't just pick up and leave right now, but I'll see what I can do.
His lack of effort was really beginning to hurt.
Y/N: Whenever you can, I guess.
Tumblr media
The blackout curtains were betraying you. The opening between the panels was just wide enough for a ray of sunlight to hit you directly in the face.
You yawned, "Yoon, I think we need to move to an underground bunker." Rolling over you were reminded by the cool smooth sheets that even though the condo was 10 minutes away from work he couldn't be bothered to come home yet again.
You reached for your phone. No messages.
Y/N: Hey babe, where are you? I haven't seen you for days.
The floor was cold as you made your way barefoot across the kitchen to start the coffee.
Still no response. Your stomach felt uneasy, he'd usually at least text. Picking up the phone you dialled.
"Hello?" His voice was raspy like he'd just woken up.
"Hey, I'm a little confused why I'm the only one here." You tried to keep your tone light, despite your aggravation.
"I'm sorry. I was heading out last night and PDog asked for help. He's trying to write for the new girl group and the lead's vocal style isn't meshing with his flow. I sat in on their session to see if I could help."
"Yoongi, are you ever going to take a break?"
"This is why I didn't text you. I don't need a lecture about it. They have a debut date and shit needs to get finished."
He sounded aggravated and if you had to guess he was most likely pushing his hair back, an anxious habit he had recently developed.
"I wish you'd work on us as much as you worked on your music."
"I thought you'd be thrilled that I'm busy. Where are your other boyfriends?"
You were crying again. "You're right Yoongi. I'd have to be absolutely stupid to want to spend any quality time alone with you."
"Fuck, Y/N. I'm sorry. I'm tired, okay?"You could hear him cover his phone but managed to make out a mumbled "I'll meet you downstairs." There was a pause and a door clicking shut. "When I'm done, I'll drive over and we'll spend the rest of the week together OK? I love you."
"You frustrate me to no end, Min Yoongi." You sighed at your own inability to stay angry with him. "I love you too."
____________________
Tired of opening one app after another, you tossed your phone on the couch beside you. You could sit here all day waiting for Yoongi, who probably wasn't going to show up anyway, or you could just head back to the dorms.
Even if he did manage to get away, his mind would still be on work. He'd just be trading one studio for another, and you knew he preferred the new HYBE equipment. At least there you could hang out with whoever was still around.
You were sure Jungkook would be at home. Joon was art hopping in Seoul, and Jin was in Uncle mode helping his brother settle in for their soon-to-be new baby. Everyone else would most likely be hanging around the offices.
Y/N: I'm incredibly bored, Jimin. I'm coming to visit.
Chim: Ohhhh, I'll play with you! I've got a new toy I think you might like.
Y/N: Intrigued 🤔
Chim: I'll be in the lounge. See you in ½ an hour?
Slinging the heavy duffle bag of things, you needed to return to Jungkook over your shoulder, you waited for the elevator. Just as it pinged Jimin came bouncing up the hall.
"What are you doing? Where are you going? I told you I have a surprise!"
"Can I just bring this stuff upstairs first?"
Breaking out the dimples and a cute head tilt he stared with puppy eyes until you agreed to follow.
You hurled the bag into his arms. "Fine but this better be good."
Pushing open the door he raised his eyebrows and grinned. "Ladies first!"
Stepping into the room, you were sure your jaw was almost on the floor. You pushed him backwards and slammed it shut behind you.
"Jimin what the fuck? There's a naked girl in there!"
He frowned at your unexpected reaction. "You don't like your present?"
"I really don't know what's going through your head. Who is she? You know you can't just do this with strangers."
"NDA's!! She's one of the new trainees, if she talks she'll get fired."
You scoffed at him. "No abuse of power there. This is a real dick move, Jimin."
"Well, it's not just me."
Your heart dropped into your stomach. "Who else?"
You watched his Adam's apple bulge in his throat with a hard swallow. He was clearly choosing his words carefully.
"Hobi"
"and?"
"Taehyung and I have already…" His words trailed off
"and?"
"That's it. I swear."
"Not Jungkook?" The thought turned your stomach.
Jimin rolled his eyes "You're kidding right? Jungkook is too whipped for you to even look at anyone else."
You sighed in relief but began to internally ponder why your first reaction was to ask about Jungkook and not Yoongi.
"I just…I don't understand why you'd think this is okay."
"You do crazy stuff with all of us all the time. I thought you'd be impressed."
Plopping onto the bench in the hallway, you were really taken aback.
"Jimin, I thought we were all in this together. A poly relationship doesn't include bringing in strangers. All of you sleeping with her is exposing me without my consent. I'd never do that to any of you."
He sighed like you had missed the point. "This is me asking for your consent. Yoongi thought you’d be down for it and that…"
"That what?" Your jaw was clenched. "You're my best fucking friend, Jimin, you'd better not lie to me."
He stammered in defeat. "That if I could get you and her together it would be easier to have her join in whenever with whoever."
"So Yoongi orchestrated this? Like this is an actual fucking conversation that took place between you?"
He knew he was fucked.
"Please don't tell him you know."
"Oh, I'm not gonna tell him anything."
Anger, blinding rage? Whatever it was motivating you, you pushed open the door and smiled. "Let's do this then."
Standing up she walked towards where you stood. Jimin, clearly surprised by the turn of events, was already hard and smiling while palming himself over his pants.
"What took so long? Jimin said you were always down to fuck." She was bold; it felt as If she was challenging you.
"Just trying to make sure you were screened. Dime a dozen groupie girls like you come riddled with diseases these days."
Grabbing her face tightly in your hand you kissed her hard before directing her backwards. "I'm the one in charge here. This is my game. If you want to play with the big kids, you'd better get back to the couch so I can see if that tongue is good for anything other than talking shit."
She smiled and lay back as Jimin undid his pants. Grinning like a high-school kid having sex for the first time, he stood stroking his cock while you pulled up your skirt and straddled her face.
He walked closer to you waving his dick at your mouth like he was on a fishing expedition.
"I don't think so. If I'm disposable, so are you."
"Can I at least fuck her then?"
You made him wait a bit before you answered. Making sure to play up your pleasure you threw your head back and closed your eyes while moaning. "You know Jimin, I think you made a mistake. I don't know if I'll need any of you if I can have this whenever I want it."
It was a lie. You were so angry you couldn't think straight let alone feel pleasure right now but you wanted it to sting.
You felt her smile slide over your wet pussy and she stuck her tongue in deep for good measure. It pissed you off that she thought she was winning you over.
"Go ahead Jimin, use her."
Excited that his plan was finally working, his demeanour changed back to how he'd met you at the door.
She spread her legs wide for him while he knelt between them on the couch.
"Stop! Where's the condom Jimin?" You scolded him. "You can't just raw dog a rando."
She laughed, and it made your blood boil. "Yoongi never mentioned how controlling you are. No wonder he wants to add me into the mix."
You froze, staring at Jimin. You were livid and couldn't believe any of them would want to have anything to do with her.
Getting up you calmly smoothed your dress back down your legs.
"Oh shit. You didn't know? I figured you pieced it together when you called this morning as I was leaving." She smiled coyly. "Sorry he hasn't been making it home the last few nights."
You thought back to your conversation this morning. He said, "I'll meet you downstairs." The dorms were on the upper levels, the studios on the lower.
You wanted to smack the smug look off of her face but instead walked out slamming the door.
Wiping tears away frantically, the facial recognition on the elevator wasn't processing you through your turmoil. The doors slid open and you ducked inside just as Jimin ran out to stop you.
Standing behind the closed doors you had to decide, Confront or hide? Your finger hovered, shaking as you pressed, Floor 12.
Running quickly you punched the memorized code into the keypad. Turning the handle you slid inside hoping to god that Jungkook wouldn't be there.
Resting your head on the door, you could barely breathe. What were you going to do?
Taking a deep breath you inhaled the comforting scent of Jungkook that permeated the walls of his Golden Closet Studio. You felt so stupid, you'd ruined everything with him and for what?
The knock startled you and you almost gasped revealing your hiding spot. You could hear them in the hall outside.
"She knows he's not here; she probably went back to the condo to get her things."
"I can't believe how badly you fucked this up, Jimin."
Jimin must have alerted Yoongi to the issue. The two men were now seemingly combing the building trying to find you.
"Me? I'm not the one who cheated, don't blame me."
Yoongi's voice was calm instead of sad. Damage control mode, you'd heard it before. It made you question if he was as worried about losing you as he was with protecting his career and the company from this scandal. "I didn't cheat. We only talked about it."
"I don't think Y/N sees that as any different Hyung."
"This is so bad." Hitting what was presumably his head against the door, the thud echoed around the room. "You'd better get your ass into Hitman Bangs office right now and explain to him why his latest girl group suddenly needs a new lead. We can't keep her around if she's going to act so indiscreetly."
"You have to fix this Yoongi. You know how much we all need Noona."
You heard the ding of the elevator and presumed they had both moved on but the quiet was broken when your phone vibrated, shaking the contents of your purse. Seconds later Yoongi's voice cut through the silence, he was leaving you a voicemail.
"I know you're angry. You have every right to be. Can we just talk about it? Give me a chance to explain myself. Tell me where you are, and we'll figure this out okay?"
You'd have to face him sooner or later, so you opened the door.
"Hey."
He looked relieved. "Hey. Can I come in?"
You nodded and held the door wide for him to enter.
"Jungkook's not here?"
You chewed your lip trying to stop yourself from having a complete breakdown. "No, he doesn't want to have anything to do with me anymore. I made it pretty clear that I would always choose you and he didn't take that so well."
"Fuck. I'm such an asshole. I had no idea." He couldn't look you in the eye, so he turned away. "How the hell did it come to this Y/N?"
You wanted to be mad, but you couldn't, you knew you were both to blame. Pressing your face into his back your tears left wet marks on his t-shirt. "I think we both know the answer to that."
"I should have let you go. I knew you were happier with him, but my pride didn't want to lose you like that."
"Yoongi, it's not all your fault."
"It is, though. The minute I felt relieved that I didn't have to put as much effort into our relationship anymore is the minute we should have had this conversation."
He turned to face you and wrapped his arms around you.
"I love you, and I need you to know that I didn't cheat on you. I thought about it but only because I was upset that you were with Jungkook."
You tried to interrupt, to defend yourself but he continued.
"I'm not blaming either of you. You two belong together."
You were frustrated that he couldn't have come to this conclusion sooner. "Well unfortunately, it's too late for that. He fucking hates me now."
The keypad beeped, and Jungkook, looking worn and sad, walked in apparently having overheard your last statement.
"I could never hate you Noona."
Your heart flipped in your chest. You didn't think you'd ever get to see him again.
"I owe you an apology Jungkook. I should have stepped aside when I saw how much you loved her."
Putting his hand on Jungkook's shoulder, Yoongi turned and gave you one last smile. "She needs you, go and take care of your girl."
Closing the door behind him, Yoongi took his leave.
"I'm sorry I came up here. I didn't know where else to go." You brushed the tears that had begun falling away with your fingertips. "I'll go."
He grabbed your hand, so you couldn't walk out. "No! There's no way I'm letting you go this time. I've been miserable the last few days without you."
It was his turn to cry. "Jimin sent me a message and said they needed help finding you. I got so scared that id never see you again."
He pulled you into his arms and kept placing small kisses on top of your head while apologies streamed from his lips.
"I'm so sorry. I swear I never had any intention of ending things when we went to Jeju. I didn't want to give you up but everything you said made sense and I didn't want to hurt Yoongi either."
"I love you so much Jungkook." Your body shook while you sobbed in his arms. "I'm so fucking sorry if I hurt you."
Picking you up in a bear hug he walked you to the couch. "I missed you so much, can we just lay here together for a while? I just want to hold you"
"I don't think we should, actually."
He pulled back, a puzzled look across his face.
"I'm so tired of dorm rooms and studios, Jungkook. I think it's time we try out something more permanent, you know? Just us. Like home?"
The sparkle in his eyes returned. "Like our home, because you're mine now?"
Your heart was full. You didn't need or want anything or anyone else.
"I'm all yours."

S.S smut : “no humanity “
I GOT ANOTHER REQUEST !!! Guys I don’t think you understand how happy this makes me . I started writing at 14 on Wattpad and I recently got back into it and just been on Tumblr and all of y’all been so kind and I’m getting request it’s been so duckinf nice . Here’s a nice rough steamy Stefan Salvatore. Also he has no humanity so u know it’s finna be ROUGH
Warning: use protection DONT catch a std. also sadly some guys don’t fuck like we write so enjoy your imagination loves
Being Caroline’s sister hasn’t been easy. Especially since she’s turned, you still being human .
Stefan Salvatore was your best friend, kinda your crush but since him and Elena are over. (Her getting w Damon) things have taken a turn.
You walk through the Salvatore boarding house without even knocking, which you usually don’t do anyways.
Stefan was on his ripper mode. No humanity. Which you don’t think he’s fully turned it off but his asshole of a personality was definitely on display.
“Hello! I’ve arrived. Come entertain your guest please!” You yell out heading straight for the bourbon. Did you forget to mention you just broke up jeremy? Yeah y’all two been dating for over a year during all this mess when he found out around the same time as you.
But you just found him making out with Bonnie so the first destination you went was the Salvatores.
You sigh pouring yourself another shot, downing it like the first. You were sad. You really were, you put a lot of effort and trust into Jeremy just for him to turn around and betray you. You laugh softly to yourself, “like brother like sister” you think to yourself.
“You aren’t a guest, y/n. You’ve been here like a thousand times.” Stefans voiced from behind you making you jump.
You roll your eyes, “where’s Damon?” You question and Stefan clenched his jaw.
“With Elena.” You swallow nodding, before turning to pour yourself a third shot. Damon’s bourbon really coming in handy.
“Want one?” You question Stefan not looking him in the eyes.
Stefan goes to decline but you turn towards him with a glass you already poured for him.
“Wasn’t really a question.” You hand him the glass, he chuckles.
He took a sip before you sigh falling onto the couch. Stefan observes you for a second taking in the change of mood you are in.
“You okay?”
You sigh, “I meannnn” you drag out, “besides walking in on my best friend making out with my boyfriend- I mean ex boyfriend. No, I’m good” you shrug.
Stefans eyes get wide, “Jeremy cheated? On you?”
You hummed, “mmmhmmm. and he had no shame in his game.” You finally swallow your shot.
Stefan stands there looking at you. “DONT get worried on me Stefan. I thought you were in ripper mode.”
“You still are my best friend, y/n.” You bite your lip to keep your feelings at bay. You are upset, you aren’t gonna lie but there’s no point on being upset right now.
You stand up, walking up to Stefan. “I’m fine.” You throw a fake obnoxious smile on your face, before rolling your eyes turning around and pouring more in your glass.
“I think you should slow down.”
“I think you should fuck off”
You turn around downing the drink. It really hitting you know how many shots you had. You don’t really drink but right now anything helps numb the pain.
“Oooo I have a idea.” You slurred giggling.
Stefan rolls his eyes. “Yeah for you to stop drinking.”
“Hey ! You are no fun. You are supposed to be all rippery and fun. Not acting like my dad. Who’s already dead.” You glare at him.
“Why don’t you wanna talk about it?” He stares into your eyes and you can feel yourself starting to get emotional so you turn around to not face him.
“Because what’s the point? I wasted a fucking year being with him. Just to get cheated on.” You laugh. “I’m just tired honestly.” You confess.
Stefan is right behind you, turning you to face him. You wipe your eyes laughing. “I feel so stupid.”
Stefan shakes his head. “You aren’t stupid, y/n.”
You stare at him trying so hard not to cry.
“Why am i not enough that he choses her? Why is that when I like someone it’s a fuck you? Why can’t someone just choose me?” You confess/question.
Stefan stares down at you before slamming his lips onto yours.
You freeze for a second before kissing him back, just as hard. You pull away to catch your breathe, staring into his eyes.
“Why did you do that?” You question
“Why do you think?” Stefan smiles.
You push him off turning around to grab your bag. “If you are just tryna make me feel better Stefan you are doing a fucking horrible job” you mumble
You don’t need Stefan to try to make you feel better . Not like this. You always liked him and for him to do this just when your upset isn’t fair. You don’t want pity.
Stefan grabs your waist pulling you towards him, kissing you again. “Jeremy is young and stupid. He doesn’t realize what he had, what he just lost. But I do, y/n. You are too damn good to let some teenage boy make you feel less than what you are.”
You stand there still not sure if the alcohol was making you feel funny or stefans words.
Without hesitation you kiss him. His hands slip under your ass lifting you up. You moan into his mouth as he slams you against the wall.
One of his hands grips your throat, and you felt your Pussy throb ! (I’m sorry but bitch my pussy throbbed if Stefan ever choked me WOO)
Your hair flew and your eyes open and now you are in stefans room. He throws you down on the bed with a plop.
He takes his shirt off and you’re eyes go wide. Your head falls back on the bed in amazement. He walked forward leaning down to kiss you.
His hands rip your shirt down the middle. You slap his chest.
“I fucking liked that shirt, ass.” He smirked kissing your jaw.
“I’ll compel someone to get you a new one.” You giggle.
His lips going farther and farther down. He yanks down your shorts leaving you bare. His hands gripping your thighs. Hard
You moan at the feeling. He kisses your inner thigh before the tip of his nose brushes against your clit. Your hands reach for his hair.
He kitty licks your clit, before slowly inserting a finger. Soft slow movements, making you ache for more.
“Stefan, please.” You whine
“Please what?” He looks up towards you. The view of him in between your legs almost making you cum right there.
“Fuck me.” Your eyes connecting.
Stefan flips you over on your stomach, you hear shuffling before his tip enters you. You gasp at the feeling.
Stefan was huge, way bigger then Jeremy. He slams into you gripping your hair, making you moan out in pleasure.
His hands trail down to your neck, squeezing it softly. His pace picks up, the only sound filling the room was his hips slapping into your ass.
You let out a loud moan, “oh fuck.”
Stefans hands are now on your tits, pinching your nipples.
Stefan picks you up turning you around, your back hits the wall. He renters you making you gasp. His tongue sliding in your mouth.
His hips moving forward at incredible pace. You felt your legs start to shake.
You bite his shoulder, moaning. “Fu-fuck. I’m so close.” You mumble out.
One hand hold you up as another slides in between your legs, rubbing your clit.
You bite his shoulder hard, blood drawing. You cum hard, but Stefan wasn’t done with you yet.
He throws you back on the bed, putting your legs over his shoulder. His pace even harder and faster than before. He fills you up so good.
His hands all over you, gripping your throat, breast, thighs. HES devouring you.
Your shaking under him, can’t even catch your breathe. A loud slap echoes his room, stinging sensation on your ass.
“You look so good when you cum.” His voice in your ears.
His teeth sink into your shoulder, drawing blood. You moan not even noticing the pain.
His eyes darken, “you like being fucked like this?”
You are so out of it you can’t even make a coherent sentence.
A slap on your face makes your eyes open. Stefan still pounding into you, not losing eye contact.
His voice deepened, “answer me!”
“Yes, i love when you pound into me.”
Stefan rolls his eyes, “I bet you do, you like being fucked like a slut DONT you?”
He flips you over on your stomach again. Stopping all actions. You whine, shoving your ass towards him.
SLAP!
His hand leaves your ass, he smirks to himself seeing his print turn up red.
He grips your hair pulling you closer to him before he starts pounding into you again. Your legs are already shaking, you are completely in heaven.
His hands all over your ass as he continues his endless pounding.
Stefan moans, gripping you harder towards him. His breathe on your back. Hes gotta be close with the way he keeps gripping you harder.
You cum a second time.
Your eyes roll back in your head.
Stefan slows down before pulling out landing beside you. You can’t move.
You let out a giggle after a few minutes of regaining your breathe.
“Feel better?” Stefan questions kissing your temple. You hum in response, laying right where you were left.

13 Going on 30 pt.1
A Peter Maximoff x reader fanfiction based off the movie 13 going on 30.
Summary:  You are so excited when the most popular girl in your school agrees to come to your 13th birthday party. But after a cruel prank you find yourself wishing that you were popular and older. By some miracle your wish is granted but isn’t as wonderful as it seems. You turn out to be a major jerk and you don't even talk to your best friend Peter anymore. Can you fix everything and get back to normal or are you stuck living like this forever
Warnings: Angst and some suggestive content. But it’s mostly pure fluff. (Also peter has no powers in this and some scenes will be changed to better fit Peter and so I can be creative with it!)
Word Count: 2759
I am so excited to share this fic with y’all! 13 going on 30 is one of my favorite comfort movies and I thought that adding Peter Maximoff to it would make it even better.
Tumblr media
It was 1987 and your birthday party was next week. You were so excited you could barely contain yourself. You were turning 13, you were finally becoming a teenager. It was time to abandon all childish things and live a life of adventure and romance. One that all the movies told you was guaranteed once you became a teenager. You were writing in your notebook during lunch checking off the things you had already gotten for your birthday party. “Balloons, check. Party favors, check. The cutest outfit, check!”
“Your best friend in the whole world who is getting you the best present. Check!” Peter added as he sat down across from you, dropping his lunch tray down on the table. You just rolled our eyes at him.“So I was thinking for this year we should go to the arcade then get ice cream.” Peter muttered his mouth full of the school’s signature sloppy joe sandwich. “Cause if I eat too much ice cream before we play that dance game you love, I'm gonna get sick again.” Some of the sandwich meat dripped out of the corner of his mouth. You handed him a napkin to wipe it, not even disgusted at this point.
You and Peter had been best friends since birth. You had lived right next to each other as kids and you had done everything together. Learning how to walk, the loss of your first tooth, the first day of school. Always together no matter what. That’s what made you so nervous to tell him what was on your mind. “Actually, I was thinking of having a party this year.” You gave him a nervous smile.
“What?!” He choked out in the midst of a coughing fit having nearly choked on his milk. Kids turned around to look at him and you shushed him. ”Peter stop shouting.” You scolded through gritted teeth.
He spoke up again this time, his voice back to it’s normal level. “But it’s always just us.”
You winced, you had figured he was going to respond like this. “I know, I know. But hear me out.” Peter sat back in his chair, arms crossed. “Lucy said she’d come to the party this year, and she’d bring Dylan! You know how much I like him.” You gushed and Peter narrowed his eyes at you.
“How did you convince the most popular girl in school to come to your party?”
“Way harsh peter.” You reached over to his tray attempting to steal one of his fries. His hand slapped yours away. “You make it sound like she doesn't even know I exist.”
“That’s exactly what I’m implying, you and I are at the bottom of the social food chain and you know it.” He pushed his chair back even further, now only balancing on two legs. “What did you do?”
“Nothing,” You defended.
He held your gaze with narrowed eyes as you tired your best to maintain eye contact. The minute you looked away he knew he had you. “I know you're lying (y/n). When you can’t look me in the eye you’re hiding something. Spill it.”
You muttered really quickly. “Imayormaynothavedoneherhomeworkforthepastmonth.”
He gave you an exasperated look. “What?”
“I said I may or may not have done her homework for the past month.”
He gave you a disapproving look. “Don’t look at me like that. “ You pouted. “It was the only way she was going to bring Dylan.”
“I don't even know why you want that guy at your party. Or Lucy for that matter. They’re all a bunch of jerks.” Peter got up to put his tray away. You shoved your notebook back into your bag and got up to follow him.
“You don’t even know them Peter.”
“Neither do you.” You frowned at him before turning on your heel and walking away from him. “(y/n) wait.” You sped up and he sped up with you. He caught up to you and grabbed your arm. You refused to look at him.
Peter’s harsh look softened and his grip on your arm loosed. “Look.” His voice lowered to a whisper. “ I just don’t want you getting hurt.”
You gave him a soft smile. “I won’t especially not with my best friend around.” You bumped your shoulder into his. He returned your smile after a while and your face lit up. “It’s going to be fun!”
“If you say so.”
On the day of your party you couldn't even sit still for a single second. Pacing by the front door waiting for Lucy and her friends to arrive. The doorbell rang and you threw open the door, but your smile dropped when you saw it was just Peter. “Oh, it’s you.”
“Geez, it's good to see you too.” He pushed his way into your house as you closed the door behind him.
“Sorry I just thought it was Lucy.”
“And you were disappointed when it was me.” He joked making himself at home on your couch.
“You know that’s not what I meant.”
“No, I get it. Suddenly you get new friends and I’m old news. Hung out to dry. Dead and buried without a moment to grieve.” He milked his performance trying to make you feel guilty. You sat down next to him knocking his feet off your mother’s coffee table.
“Shut up.” You laughed, he watched you and smiled. You noticed the keyboard strapped to his chest and groaned. “Did you have to bring your keyboard?”
“Duh. It’s part of your gift.”
“I hope that’s not all you got me.”
“Hey!” He mocked being hurt by your words. “And it’s not by the way.” He sat up and made his way to your front door. “I gotta go get it, I left it on your doorstep.” He opened the door and was gone for a minute, making you anxious with anticipation. He poked his head through the doorway and a sweet smile plastered on his lips. “Close your eyes.”
You quickly covered your eyes with your hands. You heard Peter’s sneakers shuffling as he made his way closer to you. “No peeking.”
“I’m not!”
“Yes you are, I can see you looking through the slits of your fingers.” You giggled at the accusation and squeezed your eyes even tighter. You felt the couch dip from his weight as he sat back down next to you. You feel his hands close around yours, and the small action making you blush. He carefully removed your hands from your eyes. “Ta-da!”
Sitting on the coffee table front of you was a huge handmade pink doll house. “I decided to make you your own (y/n) dream house.” Your eyes widened taking it all in. It was beautiful.
“Petey did you make all this?” You asked, heart swelling at the sweet action.
“Yeah,” He admitted a little embarrassed. He scooted closer to the table. “See that’s you in your bubble bath. Reading your favorite magazine” It was a Barbie doll with a picture of your face tape on it. You giggled.” And there’s your room with the giant closet you’ve always wanted and a huge stereo collection. I know how much you love music. And there’s that bum Rick Springfield, sitting on the couch.” As you took in all the details you fell even more in love with the house. Peter had put so much time into this and you adored it.
“And uh, there’s me.” He smiled sheepishly. A picture of him was glued to a piece of cardboard. His picture was making that ‘I’m watching you’ gesture at Rick Springfield. “I’m making sure that creep keeps his hands to himself. He’s only here for his musical talents, nothing else.” You smiled at him. He smiled back and for a second you could have sworn he glanced down at your lips. “Oh! I almost forgot.” He pulled out a red packet and shook it lightly. “Wishing dust.”
You scooted closer to him so you guys could read the package together. “It says wishing dust knows what’s in your heart of hearts. They’ll make all your dreams come true.” He whispered the last part, his eyes cast downward as you watched him rip open the package. He stood up and sprinkled the dust down on the house. You watched in wonder as all the different colors rained down together and decorated the whole house in a pretty shimmer. Your eyes met his and you could feel yourself tearing up. He was so sweet and he didn't even know how much this meant to you.
Just then the doorbell rang and you jumped to your feet. “They’re here!” You wiped away the tears that threatened to fall really quickly before dashing to the door.
“Yay.” Peter cheered sarcastically. You ignored him and sprinted to open the door. Lucy was there along with her friends and Dylan in the back. She was wearing a neon pink dress, the same one you had begged your mom to buy you last week. She had said no obviously.
“Hi Lucy! Thanks for coming!” She just gave you a tight smile and let herself in. She looked around your living room and a sneer made its way to her face when she saw Peter on your couch fiddling with his keyboard.
“Sup Freak.” Lucy shot Peter a sickly sweet smile.
“Sup slut.” Peter replied, mirroring her smile. You felt your mouth open in shock and shot him a deadly look. Lucy just pressed on trying to get a reaction out of Peter.
“I see your hair is still as gray and as ugly as ever.”
“At least my hair is naturally this color. From the look of your roots you should really look into getting a better stylist. You ain’t fooling anybody honey.”
They continued to glare at each other until Lucy finally broke away from his gaze and turned to face you. “Where is this party happening anyway.”
“It’s um downstairs, in the basement.” You motioned towards it, Lucy and her friends made their way down the steps. Peter followed them carrying your dollhouse, but you held your arm out to stop him. “What was that? Why were you being such a jerk?”
“She started it!”
You huffed. “I know, but it’s my party so please try to be nice to her.” He opened his mouth to say something but then decided against it. He pushed past your arm and went down the stairs to the basement. Taking two at a time.
“So this is it.” Lucy picked at the neon colored table cloth. You didn't know what to say as she looked around. “What are we going to do anyway?”
“Well we could play twister, Peter is really good at it.” Peter gave a small salute in acknowledgement as they glanced towards him. “Or we could watch a movie.”’ You said excitedly, making your way over to the VHS rack.” I have a lot of good ones.``
“Lame.” Lucy announced and her friends echoed in agreement.
You felt embarrassed of thinking that they would enjoy such childish things. “Why don't we play a new game?” Lucy suggested.
“What kind of game?” Peter asked, suspicion laced in his tone.
“A fun one.” She made her way towards you and placed her hand on your shoulder as she turned to address Peter. “Not that you would know anything about fun Maximoff.”
“Not that you would know anything about fun.” Peter mocked back in a high pitched tone.
“Real mature.” Peter stuck his tongue out at her.
She turned back to you. “Let’s play seven minutes in heaven.” She leaned in even closer. “You can go first (y/n), and I think you’ll like who you get.” She glanced back and you followed her gaze towards Dylan. He shot you a smile and you felt yourself blush.
All of a sudden you heard your mom. “(y/n)!” Your mother yelled down the stairs. “Your cake is here come and get it!”
“Peter go get it.” Lucy commanded.
“What? No.” He scoffed. You met his gaze and shot him a pleading look. “Fine.” He put the dollhouse away in your closet on the top shelf and made his way to the stairs. “Thanks Petey.”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Lucy took off her scarf from around her neck and placed it over your eyes, knotting it tightly in the back. She led you towards the closet and you felt your heart rate pick up. You could hear the giggles of her friends as they closed the door. You stood there in the darkness waiting for Dylan to come in. It had been a while since Lucy had led you to the closet, you sat down putting your arms around your knees hugging them close.
Peter came back down the stairs carrying your cake, as he was coming down Lucy was going up the stairs, her friends trailing behind her. “Hey where are you going?”
She didn't answer, just smiled at him placing a hand on his shoulder. “(y/n) is waiting for you in the closet.” He gave her a confused look, he didn't know he was part of this game. Lucy and her friends continued up the steps, Dylan swiped your cake with his finger smearing the icing and eating it. Peter yanked it away and continued down into the basement. Madonna was playing softly in the background, he put the cake on the table and made his way to the closet, opening the door. He saw you sitting there  on the floor, you upon hearing the door squeak open were smiling up at him. “I didn't think you were going to come.”
He nervously smiled back at you and sat down on the floor across from you. You reached your hands out towards him. “Where are you?” He let his hands find yours, fingers intertwined in one another. He had held your hand before but this time it felt so different. He saw you lean in and he did the same. He was inches away from your lips when you whispered. “Oh Dylan.” He pulled back abruptly.
“It’s not Dylan, It’s Peter.” You yanked your hands away from his and tore the scarf away from your eyes.
“What are you doing here?” You felt panic take over you. “Where is Dylan?”
“He left. They all did, no one is here.” You stood up and saw that Peter was right. Your snack table stood untouched and Lucy, and Dylan were no where to be found. You immediately turned on Peter. “What did you do?”
Peter looked at you in disbelief. “Nothing!”
“Yes you did!” You were screaming at him at this point.
“I just went to get your cake!” He screamed back.
“Get out.” you whispered. Peter looked at you, clearly hurt that you were pushing him away. “GET OUT!” You screamed as you pushed him out of the closet.
“(y/n) wait!” He tried holding the door open as you desperately tried shutting it. “(y/n) let me talk to you!”
“Peter stop.” You cried.
“(y/n)-”
“No!” You managed to shut the door and lock it. You sat back down on the floor and put the blindfold back over your eyes.
“(y/n) Please!” You could hear Peter on the other side of the door even with your hands covering your ears. “Please come out!”
“I hate you!” You screamed as his voice stopped.
“You don’t mean that.” He muttered, tears of his own threatening to spill.
“Yes I do! I hate you! I hate me! I hate everything!” You were so angry and embarrassed and that you really thought Lucy was your friend. And that you were going to get to kiss Dylan.
“(y/n) what are you talking about?”
“I want to be thirty!” You wailed through your tears.
“Just let me play you this song.” Peter yelled back. He slung his keyboard over his head and started to mess with it trying to find the right key. “It’ll make you feel better!”
You ignored him continuing to cry. “I wanna be thirty! I wanna be thirty and flirty and thriving.” You swing your head back shaking the shelf behind you. The wishing dust from the dollhouse fell down all around you but you didn't even notice. You could faintly hear Peter playing some tune on his keyboard but you ignored it. Just muttering through your tears over and over how you wanted to be thirty, flirty and thriving. At the moment you wanted to be anywhere but there.

Five Years Ago
As the Scout Regiment walked back through the gates of Shiganshina you were all greeted by many worried faces. You stuck as close to Erwin as you could, you knew that everyone was disappointed in the Scouts. Another failure in the books was how the citizens behind the wall would see this. And you knew that your little brother would be out there watching. He would smile on as the remaining Scouts made their way through the gates. He would be filled with happiness as he watched his favorite group of people return.
The mumbling started as soon as they saw your faces. You walked next to Erwin’s horse, trying to hide your shame as you tried to ignore the words and whispers that circled you.
Erwin had always been like a brother to you, he was your best friend, your shoulder to cry on. He had been the main reason why you had even joined the Scout Regiment.
You looked over to your right shoulder and saw his smiling face. This boy had no idea what was really happening outside those walls. Keeping his innocence was going to be your number one priority. You and Erwin both looked over at him and upon seeing his smile you couldn’t help but hang your heads.
So many of your comrades had lost their lives. So many people that you had spent so much time with were gone in a blink of an eye. You could never unsee the things that you had seen… and this was only your second time outside the walls. You were officially scared, to say the least.
As you listened to the chaos around you, you couldn’t help but let tears slide down your face. “They’ve sure taken a hit, haven’t they?” “The rest of them got eaten.” “That’s what happens when pride takes you outside the walls.”
None of that was why you did it. Pride had absolutely nothing to do with it. You wanted to make a better world for the people that we still around after the titans appeared. Emotions flooded you as you tried to ignore the whispers once again.
You felt a hand grasp your wrist and you looked up, a startled expression filling your features. You met the blue eyes of the one that had your affections. He put his hand on your face and wiped away the tears while looking back at the crowd around you. You hadn’t even noticed that you had let them slip.
He looked over and saw your brother as well, but his face was different this time. There was no smile spread across it, just worry.
An older woman came out of the crowd and stopped the whole regiment from walking. She was shouting, shouting out someone’s name. You braced yourself again. You knew exactly what was about to happen. “Moses! I beg your pardon, where is my son? He should be with you all. Oh please, tell me he made it.” The woman reached forward and grabbed the front of Commander Shadis’s cloak. You turned and buried yourself in your lover’s arms.  You couldn’t bear to watch the heartache again.
The Commander had no emotion on his face as he spoke to her. You had all seen too much, you were all exhausted. “I wish I had better news… Give it to her.”
Another man next to him handed her an object wrapped up in a blanket. Her cries broke your heart more than it was already breaking. “I’m sorry. That’s all there is left of him.”
The woman dropped to her knees and you pulled away from your boyfriend’s grip, running to her. If it had been you in the situation you had hope that someone else would do that same.
Erwin tried to grab the back of your clock as you run by, but he was unsuccessful.
You knelt down with her and wrapped her into your arms. You didn’t even know this woman, but you just couldn’t help yourself, and she held you without even thinking twice. You had to help as much as you could. She hugged what was left of her son to her and leaned against you.
The Commander knelt down and she spoke to him once again. “He did good, yes? He was brave? Tell me my son stood his ground until the bitter end.” You had to turn your face from you, you could feel the tears coming again. “Tell me that his death meant something! Tell me his sacrifice gave us a better chance!”
None of you knew what to say to her. You all sat there in shock. You could now feel your brother’s piercing eyes on you. This was one of the last things that you wanted him to see. The Commander stood back up and his emotions got the best of him. “He was brave… But his sacrifice meant nothing.”
The woman went stiff in your arms.
“As it is with all our losses, it’s all the same.” His screaming could probably have been heard all the way to Wall Sina. “The day was lost! We have nothing! Your son died because of me! I sent him to his death!” The Commander was losing himself, you had never seen him this emotional before. “I sent them all to their deaths and there’s nothing to show for it.” It was now that you wished you had covered your ears. “ALL OF IT AMOUNTS TO NOTHING!”
Another group of men from the scouts grabbed our Commander and pulled him away from the woman. And with that the Scouts began to walk again, clearing the way of the road.
As they reached you, Erwin jumped off his horse. “Y/n, let’s go. We have things to attend to. You had a family to get home to that’s worried.”
The woman looked over at you and with a weak voice that tore your heart in two. “Thank you for your kindness.”
* * * * * *
You walked through the doors of your parent’s home to find your mother doing dishes and your father sitting at the table, looking through his medical journals. As they heard the door open both of them stopped, worried about whether it would be you walking through the door, or your other half there to tell them the bad news.
When she saw it was you, your mother dropped the plate she was washing and ran to you, Carla Yeager had always been a huge family woman. “Oh Y/n, I’m so glad you’re okay.” Her hug was crushing, but you welcomed it, being outside the walls always reminded you of how much you loved your family. “There were rumors going around that a majority of the Scouts had been wiped out. I prayed that the two of you weren’t part of that.”
You gave her a weak smile. “I’m fine, mom.” You walked to your father and wrapped him in a hug. “Hey daddy,” He kissed the side of your head and sat back down, getting back to his work, the Grisha thing to do. You sat at the table and barely thirty seconds later after you sat down the door opened again.
Your little brother stood before you with a huge smile across his face. He ran to you and jumped into his arms. “Y/N!”
You smiled the same weak smile you had given your mother again. “Hey, Eren.”
A little girl stood behind him and walked slowly over to give you a hug as well. “I’m glad you’re okay, Y/n.”
“You guys aren’t getting rid of me that easily, Mikasa.” You ruffled her hair as she stepped back from your hug.
Eren jumped into the chair next to your father, the one that you had just occupied. Carla set bowls down in front of all of you and dinner commenced. Eren questioned your father about where he was headed next and the conversation went on as normal. That was until Mikasa spoke again, causing your mother to completely lose it. “So... Uhm, Eren’s thinking about joining the scouts.”
Everyone froze and Carla whipped herself around faster than she had when you had walked through the door. Eren’s face? He was pissed. “Way to keep a secret, you mouthpiece!”
Carla ran to him and scolded him. “You get that thought out of your head right now, young man.” You hadn’t seen your mother this irate since you had told her Erwin had gotten you into the Scout Regiment. “No son of mine is going to be fodder, do I make myself clear?” She looked over at you and her eyes welled with tears. “It’s bad enough that that Erwin character roped your sister into it.” Carla took the towel from her hand and tossed it to the ground. “If she had told us she was going to do it before she did, I would never have let her leave the house.”
“Stop yelling at me!” Eren had always had a temper, and he had no fear of hollering back at his parents.
Carla looked over at you again, you knew that she had never meant the words that she said, but it didn’t make them hurt any less. “This is your fault. If you had never joined that stupid regiment we wouldn’t have this issue.” Her eyes welled up even more as she reached to grab the towel she had thrown. “You never listen to me, just like your brother isn’t now.”
You opened your mouth to speak, but Grisha interrupted. “It’s a nightmare, Eren. The outside… you really have no idea.”
“Yea, I get it, okay?” Eren put his head in his hands and tugged at his hair. “But it’s gotta be better than this life. I’m not stupid. I know it’s ugly out there. I know there’s death around every corner, but I just can’t give up on it.” Eren looked up at your parents and the emotions behind his eyes made you proud in a sense, despite not agreeing with his actions. “Otherwise this nightmare is never gonna end.”
Grisha stood from the table, not wanting to argue about this anymore. “Excuse me, I’ll be late for the ferry.”
Your mother ran after him as he walked away. “Darling wait,” She reached for his arm and tried to stop him. “Scold the boy for heaven's sake.”
“Scold him? Dear, please, think this through. Mere words won’t hold back the boy's curiosity.” Grisha chuckled slightly but stopped as he watched her face. He turned to Eren and tried to reason with him. “Eren, behave while I’m gone and I'll let you in on what I’ve been doing in the cellar.” Grisha pulled at the key that was always hanging around his neck and showed you all. “Agreed?”
Eren was smiling again as he jumped from his chair. “Yes sir, you got it.” As Grisha made his exit you all followed him, watching him as he left. Eren hollered after him, still writhing with excitement. “Have a good trip!”
Once your father was out of earshot, Carla spoke to Eren again. “I meant what I said.”
Eren was confused. “What?”
“This whole idea is just irresponsible.”
“Huh? Irresponsible? So what? It’s more responsible to live in fear and hide behind some wall your whole pointless life?” And with that, Eren turned around and ran.
“Eren!”  Carla turned to you and Mikasa, grabbing each of your arms and forcing you to look at her. “The boy needs to be protected from himself. Promise me that whatever happens, I can count on the two of you to have his back.”
Mikasa nodded and you gave Carla a hopeful look. “Of course mom. I’ll always be there for him.” She let you both go and Mikasa ran for Eren.
“Can you please go after your brother for me?” She pulled you into a hug. “Tell him to come home, please.”
You nodded to her in an attempt to calm her. “I have to go back to my place anyway, so I’ll go find him.”
And with that, you left your parent’s house for what you had no idea would be the last time.
* * * * * *
As you stood in your apartment you gazed around. It felt like it had been so long since you had seen your stuff. He wasn’t home yet, probably still at the office with Erwin, that wasn’t an uncommon occurrence. As you reached to pick something up from the floor a huge bang that sounded like a shot from the cannons rang through the air. The force shook the entire apartment, sending you to the floor. You put your arms out to catch yourself as you hit the floor and nearly regretted it, twisting your wrist on the way down. You stood up and looked around you as chaos ensued.
You grabbed your ODM gear and ran from your apartment as fast as your legs could carry you. People were starting to build up in one area as they all stared into the distance. You turned around to look behind you and couldn’t believe what you were seeing. A hand was holding onto the wall that stood before you. Wall Maria is fifty meters high, there’s no way a titan could just be holding onto it. A second later it stood, the titan was taller than the wall and was staring straight at everyone below. You were frozen in fear.
With one fierce blow, the titan kicked. Debris flew everywhere as that spot of the wall crumbled before you. Houses were being smashed, people were screaming. Flashbacks from your mission ran through your head. Boulders were crushing people everywhere you turned. Eren flashed through your head and your legs were moving before you had even realized it.
You knew your brother, he would be headed back to the house and you lived farther than where he had probably gotten. You had to move fast. Titans were flooding the streets.
You ran through Shiganshina looking at everything around you, your heart pounding out of your chest. You hollered his name as you ran, not worried about the titans hearing you searching for him. There was already so much going on around them.
As you got closer to your parent’s house, you heard a scream. You knew who it was the second you heard it. Eren.
You turned the corner of the building to your left and stopped dead in your tracks. Eren and Mikasa were trying to lift some a wooden beam, that’s when you realized who was underneath it. Your mother screamed at the two of them. It had been their house that had fallen on her. When she saw you she focused on you. “Y/n, you have to get them out of here. Now!”
You couldn’t even think straight, so many things were running through your head. You ran to her and started to pull on the beam that the kids were pulling on, hoping that maybe your strength would be enough. Carla continued to scream at you. “You three need to run, even if you get me out I can’t walk. We’ll never get away from here.”
A titan was coming toward you, those footsteps were something you were fine-tuned to listen for now. Soon it would be at your group.
Eren shouted at her. “Y/n and I can carry you.”
“I’m not leaving you behind mom!” You pulled with all your might, this board had come loose.
Carla lost her temper, trying as hard as she could to save her children’s lives. “Will you two just shut up and listen to me for once in your lives. One thing I’m asking you to do, just one thing! Mikasa, make them, be strong.” She calmed a little, trying to get you to listen to her. “Do you want all four of us to die?”
You could hear ODM gear behind you and you hoped and prayed that it would be Erwin and your other half. Maybe the extra strength would be enough to lift it.
“Hannes!” You turned to look at him as your mother said his name. “Take the three of them and get them out of here.”
With Hannes there, you knew what you had to do. “Hannes, help Eren and Mikasa, get out of there. I’ll take care of this ugly bastard.” Your anger was starting to get the best of you. Through your tears, you could barely see, but you grabbed your blades from your canisters and got your ODM gear ready.
Hannes tried to talk you out of it. “Y/n, don’t be insane. You can’t take that thing down by yourself. It’s huge compared to the others.”
You ignored him and started to walk forward. Carla started to panic. “Y/n, don’t do this! Your brother and Mikasa need you!”
You had to focus. You saw Hannes talking to your mother more before following behind you. “I’m going with you. We’ll take this thing down together.”
You nodded to him and as you started to move forward he didn’t follow. Hannes froze. You hit the button for your grappling hooks and shot them toward the building next to the titan.
As you got into the air and almost to the titan you felt yourself get snatched. You closed your eyes and panicked, it had to be its fist, there was nothing else that could have grabbed you. Your entire body said not to open them again.
When you finally realized you weren’t in the first of a titan, you slowly opened your eyes. The sound of ODM gear had brought you back to the world. You were in the arms of none other than Levi Ackerman. Levi landed on a building a good distance away from the action and hollered to Hannes, holding you back from going after the titan again. “Take the kids and run!”
You could see Eren fighting and screaming as Hannes picked him and Mikasa up from the ground. Levi held you back and your mother began yelling again. “I love you three, stay alive.”
As you saw the titan bend down and start moving debris around you shouted at Levi, punching him in the chest. “The two of us can take him down! I know we can! Levi, we have to do something!” The titan picked up your mother and before you could even blink, he dropped her into his mouth.
You buried yourself into Levi’s arms and screamed as the sound of teeth on bones filled the area. “NOOO!”
And just like that, everything changed.

Reconciliation (Stan Uris x reader x Richie Tozier, Reddie)
I'm finally back! It's probably been a year since I posted Betrayal and shit has really hit the fan since then, but here I am a year later with part 2!
Here is a link to part 1
Warning: swearing
Aged up: 18/19
Tumblr media
You tried to catch up with Stan as he power-walked out of the house. He stopped short when he realized his car wasn't there. "Stan" You catch his attention and he turns around. His chest rising and falling at a quick pace, "You heard everything in there?" Stan's voice was quiet, much quieter than just a minute ago. You nod and he sighs. "I'm sor-" You cut him off "Don't be" You take a step forward and bring your hand up to push some curls out of his face. He leans into your hand, not stopping himself for once. No yearning, no shouting in his head over his actions. Just the feel of your soft palm against his cheek. Stan takes a deep breath, feeling himself calm down in the wake of your touch. "Can we go somewhere?" Stan's voice barely above a whisper. "Of course."
Richie leaned back against the wall and slid down to the floor. He brushed his hands through his hair 'God I fucked up' "Man you really fucked up." Richie looked up. "Thanks, Bill your a real help." Bill put his hands up in defense. "I gotta say I really didn't see that one coming," Eddie spoke up. Bill and Mike nodded in agreement. "I mean I knew *something* was going on but holy shit I didn't think they were in love with each other," Beverly added. "We know Stanley's in love with her but is she in love with Stan? I mean she was just in a serious relationship like a week ago" "Yeah I wonder what happened to that relationship?" Ben's eyes sharp at Eddie, voice stiff and slightly viscous, "Alright! Alright!! None of that!" Mike's authoritative voice made it known he was seriously done with all the fighting. "She loves him" The group turned their heads at Richie's small voice, Ha stared down at the floor and spoke softly. "She may not be in love with him right now, but I could see it. She's falling for Stan."
Eddie looked over at Richie. A mix of emotions reached throughout the boy. He hated seeing Richie like this, but he also hated that it was about you. Mostly he hated that it was about you. He couldn't control it, no matter how much he wished that he could. What is it exactly that Richie is so mad at? Is he upset that he potentially ruined his relationship with Stan? Is he upset that Stan is in love with (Y/N) or that Stan claimed he neither loved nor cared about (Y/N)? Is Richie still in love with (Y/N)? If so is he mad that (Y/N) could be in love with Stan or that she is moving on so quickly? Eddie couldn't help but feel like he was still second to you. It's not like Richie chose to tell you. He kept telling Eddie that he would for at least 2 weeks, but then she found out in her own way. Eddie feared that maybe he was never gonna tell you. Or now that you found out does Richie regret it? 'Alright, Alright Eddie calm the fuck down! Just go talk to Richie.' "Eds?" "Yeah Rich." "I'm gonna go." Richie's tone sounded soft, defeated. It broke Eddie's heart to see him like this. "Yeah sure I'll go grab my keys-" Richie cut him off politely. "I'm just gonna walk. I think I wanna be alone right now. I'll call you later." Richie placed a hand on the back of Eddie's head pulling him close and pressing a kiss to the top of his head. "OK. Be safe please."
"Where are we going?" You ask Stan who is driving and keeping silent. "You'll see. Um, go into the glove compartment a find the clear tape." You scrunch your eyebrows together. "You been stashing things in my glove compartment, Uris?" You found a clear tape and put it into the radio. Temptation by New Order flooded in through the speakers. A smile grew on your face as you turned the volume nob up. Stan looked over at you for a second just to see your growing smile. "I made you a tape and left it in here for the next time you complain that there's nothing good on the radio." A fit of giggles came from your mouth. "Stanley Uris made me a fucking mix-tape." You continued to laugh. It brought a smile, growing wider by the second, to see you so happy and blissful listening to your favorite music, a song he loved as well.
And I've never seen anyone quite like you before. No, I've never met anyone quite like you before.
Richie's emotions were confusing him now more than ever. He loved (Y/N). He truly did, but he just wasn't in love with her. Guilt consumes him every night before sleep and every time he sees you. He never wanted to hurt you. But when it comes to Eddie he's impulsive even a little reckless. Richie knew that he fucked up massively. Not only with you but with Stan and he even feels so with Eddie. He felt that if he just would have been honest with you before jumping into things with Eds maybe Eddie wouldn't have lost his best friend. He still couldn't wrap his head around how much of an idiot and a dick he was about Stanley. What in the fucking hell would lead him to believe that Stanley Uris of all people would fuck around with someone's feelings like that? He had already caused (Y/N) enough pain maybe he was trying to be a hero or something. Do something right for once, but of course, it was just another gigantic fuck up! Executed wonderfully by your very own Richie Tozier. Richie had noticed that he walked straight to the quarry. He picked up a stone and skipped it across the water.
Stan pulled the car over along where the road stopped and the tree's started. "Come on." Stan walked over to your side of the car and opened the door for you and held out his hand. You took his hand and walked beside him into the woods. "You trying to get me to some secret secondary location?" "What, you don't recognize where we're going?" You looked around a bit and shook your head. "Well, then I guess it will be a surprise." "I guess this is the day I get murder in the woods. Goodbye world you were never all that good to me but at least my murder is hot as hell." You almost couldn't see Stan's blush from how much he was laughing. You're hands brush as you walked close together. Stan felt a little nervous to take it, it's not like he hasn't held your hand before but right now he feels it holds so much more. 'Good' he thought to himself. 'It does mean more. Let it mean more.' He took your hand in his and warmth spread throughout the both of you. Just the two of you holding hands walking through the trees with Stan pointing out some birds to you, felt so blissful. At this moment you realized you had never felt this way with Richie. The two of you had a lot in common and play off each other well jokes and conversation-wise. But maybe that wasn't all a relationship needed. You had felt that's why Richie and you were so perfect together. Maybe this was finally the start to forgiving Richie and regaining some normalcy, realizing that maybe we weren't perfect or meant to be after all. If this is how Richie felt with Eddie you felt that you could somewhat understand why he was so in a rush to have it. It was scary how new this thing with Stan was yet how important it felt to you. You would go to the ends of the earth to protect what you had with Stan, no one in the world made you feel as safe and comforted as Stanley Uris. What Richie did, going behind your back, was in no way how he should've handled the situation. You let him into some of the most vulnerable spaces in your mind and life, entrusting him with your heart and your deepest thoughts, that you were his only person. That wasn't something easy to forgive, not something to easily recover from, especially having that trust broken with someone else with who you were very close. You may be happy and blissful at this moment, but you definitely knew the consequences of Richie's actions would come back to rear its ugly head sooner or later. But you believed that understanding was one of the first steps toward forgiveness. The more you walked the louder the sound of running water became. Soon you could even see the running water. You realized Stan had brought you to the barrens.'But why the barrens?' you thought to yourself. You reached the edge of the water and looked over to Stan. "C'mon" he grabbed your hand and stepped out onto a rock in the water. You did your best to follow, it finally dawns on you that you were headed toward the clubhouse.
When you got to the small clearing Stan went ahead and lifted the hatch to the small underground area where the losers used to hang out. "I've only been here a couple of times." You said as you climbed down the ladder. "Yeah, I guess we started hanging out other places more." Stan walked over to the hammock getting in. He smiled and reached his arms out like a little kid asking for a hug. You raised an eyebrow at him. "I know. I always feel like I'm gonna fall out of this thing, but it's safe I promise." "Okay," You say drawing out the word in a skeptical tone. You yelped as it wobbled and Stan gripped his arms around your waist as the hammock swung a little. "See, safe." You let out an amused huff and relaxed into Stan. Your back was pressed against his chest, both of your heads finding slightly uncomfortable spots in the crooks of the other's neck. "I remember one of the first times Eddie ever brought you to hang around with us was down here." Stan played with your hands in your lap. "I remember looking over and seeing you smiling, talking to Beverly. It was really hot out, your cheeks were pink. Richie gave you his shower cap and you, him, and Bill talked about comic books." You closed your eyes just listening to Stan talk softly into your hair. "Beverly came over to me when she noticed. She was joking around told me to stop staring, that it was rude. I hadn't even noticed that I was staring. I got nervous cuz, -hoping you didn't notice. You were so beautiful I couldn't help but stare." You blushed and let out a chuckle, your stomach filling up with butterflies. "I don't expect you to say back any time soon, and I in no means want to rush you, but I-" Stan paused, thinking about the impact of his words. He started to think maybe he should give you a little time, but then you leaned your head up to look at him. And when he looked down into your eyes there was no way stopping the words from falling out of his mouth. "I love you." The look in Stan's eyes was intoxicating, you could have stared in his eyes for the rest of both your lives, but instead, you brought your hand up to his jaw and tilted your head bringing yours and Stan's lips together. Equally as intoxicating as the look in his eyes. The two of you felt as if you were floating on clouds. Like you two were the only two people in the world. You pulled away and smiled, Stan pressed his forehead against yours. "I know" You and Stan laughed.
"Ok Rich. You just need to apologize. I'm sure they'll forgive you. They're your friends, basically your family." Richie walked back into town talking to himself. "And you hurt them and accused them of shitty things and now all your friends will hate you forever cuz you were a total dick and even their grandchildren will hate the name, Richie Tozier." Richie stopped for a second and groaned, rubbing his hands up and down his face under his glasses. He took a deep breath and continued walking.
Mike opened the door to Richie. "Hey man, come in." "Is Eds still here." "Yeah, he's in the living room. Rich," Mike put a hand on his shoulder. "He's worried about you. We all kinda are. There's been a lot going on with you four I just want to remind you that if you need someone to talk to we're all here for you buddy." "Thanks, man." Richie continues into the living room and sees Ben and Eddie talking. He breathes a sigh of relief, knowing how much it hurt Eddie that Ben wouldn't talk to him. They hugged and Ben got up off the couch and saw Richie. "I'm really sorry Richie. It was really rude to treat you like that-" Richie cut him off. "It's ok man really, I get it. She's your friend, I was a dick." "Yeah but you and Eddie are my friends too." "Well then what do you say Haystack," Richie extended out a hand. "Back to buds." Ben agreed and shook Richie's hand. Richie took a seat next to Eddie on the couch. "Hey, I'm glad your back I wanted to-" Richie leaned in and kissed Eddie. "As much as I love you and your adorable rambling I wanted to apologize." Eddie was suddenly very nervous. He thought to himself 'Shit this is it. He still loves Kassidy.' "Sure, Sure yeah. Umm a-about what Rich?" Richie took Eddie's hands in his fiddling with them out of nerves. "About everything. About not telling Kassidy. About not even being decent enough to break it off first so neither of you would get hurt. All of this would have been so much easier and nobody would've had to lose any friends. I'm just so sorry Eddie, I love you and I never wanted to hurt you like that." Eddie was so relieved to hear those words come out of Richie's mouth. He put a hand up to Richie's cheek and leaned to kiss him. "I love you too Richie." Richie chuckled in relief "Thank fuck."
You and Stan walked back to the car hand in hand. "So what do you wanna do now? " You leaned your back up against the car door "Oh I don't know maybe some more of this." Stan leaned himself against the car by his forearm and with his other hand lifted your chin, leaning down connecting your lips. You hummed against his lips. "Well, I do love doing that." "Do you want to go back to your place-" Stan pressed a small kiss on your neck "Watch a movie." "Shit!" Stan's head shot up. "I left my house keys at Bens." "We can sneak through your bedroom window." You push yourself off of the car, past Stan, and walked to the other side pulling your door open. "I don't wanna go back there either but with any luck, Richie won't be there." Stan groaned and got into the car.
You wrapped your knuckles on the door and Mike opened it with a smile. "I just forgot my keys." Mike let you in past him to the table where the keys sat. You quickly walked over to the table and grabbed your keys. Turning around back towards the door you catch Richie staring from the couch next to Eddie. For once you didn't feel the wind knocked out of you. But you couldn't say that the feeling of wanting to punch him had dulled any. You carried on toward the door when Richie called out your name. You sighed and banged your head on Mike's front door and contemplated for a second whether or not you should pretend you didn't hear him and keep walking. Apparently, you had stayed there a bit too long. Richie tapped two fingers on your shoulder. "I was just wondering if you would let me talk at you for a second. You don't need to say anything, or react in any way really-" You turned around and put your hands on his shoulders. He froze silent as you drew a deep breath. "I forgive you." It wasn't easy to say, you weren't even sure it was true. A part of you wanted to keep him dangling in wonder and guilt but you knew that you would eventually fully forgive him and the more you saw him moping around the more you would most likely enjoy watching him suffer for what he did. But if he just thought that you had forgiven him then maybe he would go back to his old trashmouth self and you all could move on.
Richie was taken by surprise, to say the least. He felt relief for a fleeting moment until he remembers Stan. "He's out in the car" He heard him speak softly. She somehow always knew what was going on inside his head, that's what made him think that she was so great, that they would be so great together. Against your better judgment, you grimaced and said, "I can give you five minutes. But he has the car keys so I can't promise he won't dive off on you." Richie threw his arms around you and squeezed you, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" "Yeah, sure get off me" He smiled at you, "Sorry." As Richie walked out the door he turned back to you, "He wouldn't drive off without his best girl." Richie started making trumpets sound in the tune of 'A Long Long Time' by Kitty Kallen and closed the door. You rolled your eyes as you and Mike laughed
Richie fell silent as he walked up to your car with Stan in the front seat. He raised his hand and tapped on the window. Stan kept his stare forward and locked the car door. Richie sighed. "Stan please." Richie heard the click of the car doors unlock and walked around to the other side and got in. "I'm so sorry. I was being a complete shit of a person and totally overreacted. I do care about her, I do! That's why I got so angry and it totally fucked up my judgment." Stan wasn't saying anything and it started to make Richie even more nervous. "I was angry and confused and I honestly don't know where all of that came from. That's not what I think of you at all, you gotta know that, Stan. You're one of my best friends and the best dude I know and I'm so sorry I said all of those things. I know I really fucked up." The two of them sat and stared out the windshield, Richie's leg bounced up and down from nerves until Stanley broke the silence. "I'm sorry too. That I turned my back on you. I couldn't understand how you had the most perfect girl right in front of you and seeing you hurt her made me angry too. I mean we all saw you and Eddie happening eventually, but I didn't think you two would go and do that. I love her and I guess I let that get in the way of our friendship." "I mean dude I don't really think I could blame you. I've seen the way she looks at you. It can make someone do stupid and crazy things." "Well then I guess that explains why you are so stupid and crazy," Stan laughed, "Eddie looks at you like that 24\7." Richie turned away laughing and hoped it hid the bright red flush on his cheeks. "I can't believe she actually forgave me." "Yeah me neither, to be honest." Stanley dead-panned. "Buuut," Stan took a calming deep breath, "If she can forgive you, then I guess I should too."
Eddie walked up to (Y\N) hesitantly as she was laughing with Mike. Mike saw Eddie and took that as his cue to leave, or rather to eavesdrop from the kitchen with Beverly, Ben, and Bill.
"Thanks for uh.. for forgiving Richie, he's been a wreck," Eddie said. "N-not that I've been fine! I-I feel completely terrible for what I did. But I mean I-I-I'm not trying to make you feel bad for me or anything. O-or for Richie. I just mean that we're both really sorry. I'm so, so very sorry (Y/N)." Eddie stammered through quickly. Man, do your shoes look mighty interesting at that moment. 'You forgave Richie why is it so hard to forgive Eddie. Maybe because we only gave Richie a premature apology so we could all get back to normal? Should I have to do that with Eddie too? Fuck that neither of them deserves it!' You fought back and forth with yourself in your head before finally looking up at Eddie. You took a deep breath, "I know...I-" Eddie cut you off "You don't have to." "I feel like I should." "You already kinda forgave Richie I know that's a big thing so you can hate me for as long as you need I deserve it." You smiled at Eddie and walked out of the house. Richie saw you walking towards the car and stepped out leaving the door open for you. You got in and leaned over to Stanley cupping the side of his face to bring him closer and pressed a kiss to his cheek. Stan started the car as you buckled. You tucked your legs up onto the seat and curled up to get comfy. Stan rests his hand over on one of your legs as you closed your eye

Say My Name and I’ll Be There:  10.3: The FINAL Chapter!
Author’s Note: IM SO SORRY IM A DAY LATE I ENDED UP BEING BUSIER THAN EXPECTED AND HAD TROUBLE WRITING BUT HERE IT IS!!!! THANK YOU FOR READING! Be sure to stick around for Inception(Childexreader) ;)
"Xiao! Come here real quick!"
The yaksha glanced your way but didn't bother to get up since you were the one approaching him.  It took a moment to register that your hands were entangled in his hair, placing something in it.  Your smile was unusually bright today--so much so that it was blinding.  Not that he minded though; you've been through a lot these past few months.  Maybe this was the happiest you've been in awhile.
"I knew it," you beamed as you admired the flower crown atop his head, "You look so cute!"
"C...Cute?"  His gaze flicked away from you for a moment while the tips of his ears reddened. "I-"
"Oh, take the compliment already.  We've been together for awhile now.  You don't need to be so shy around me."  You let yourself fall back onto the grass that was shaded by a large orange tree.  Is it a gingko?  I need to ask Aether next time he comes in here, your mind trailed.
"I..."  Xiao returned his attention to you and lay down next to you, careful not to invade personal space and always leaving an inch or two of space between the two of you.  He let his hands lay on his abdomen until he jumped a little from you scooting over without a word.  When he looked at you, he was greeted by a cheeky smile.
"I know you're not used to this type of thing called affection, but I can tell you don't mind it."
"Hmph.  You've gotten smarter."
"Hey, I told you I'm not a stupid human!"
"You're beginning to sound like Aether's companion."
"Okay, there is a huge difference between emergency food and a stupid human."
"So you admit it?"
"Ugh, keep this up and I'll have no choice but to put more flowers in your hair."
"Do you dishonor every adeptus you come across?"
"Well, you're the only adeptus I've met besides Rex--Er, Zhongli!"  The filtered sunlight peeking through the leaves above blinded you when you broke eye contact with Xiao, so instead you propped yourself on your side and admired the view behind him.
Aether's Serenitea Pot was massive.  It had to span a mile or two in every direction, and the entire territory sat upon five tall cliffs that were connected via wooden bridges and held flowing waterfalls.  The weather was always pleasant day-round.  There were several pets outside of the main house on the main cliff that you had befriended, while Xiao seemed to connect the most with one of the gray tabby cats near the entrance.  You had caught them sitting quietly together on several occasions.
"Granny would've loved this place," you sigh.
"I shall go with you to visit her grave."  He didn't look at you as he said this, but the sincerity of his words rang as clear as the sky above.  "...She'd be happy to know you're safe."
"All thanks to you."  Despite originally admiring the scenery, your eyes had drifted downward and landed on his stomach.  Both of you were fully healed by now because of Bennett, and neither of you had any lasting effects from your battles minus the required resting time.  Your side held a prominent scar both at your front and your back, but did Xiao even get scars?  He never revealed the answer--mostly because you were too embarrassed to ask--and thus leaving the idea to your imagination.
"I should probably check on the situation outside soon; it's been awhile since Aether updated us."  Xiao sat up and summoned his spear--he had mentioned a few times that it was difficult for him to relax here and needed to keep himself busy since a comfortable life is a foreign concept.
"Oh, right..."  Your gaze followed his figure as he rose to his feet.  Sensing your--what was it, disappointment?--Xiao turned to you and removed his flower crown before gently placing it atop your head.  That action was followed by a faint smile, then his lips lightly pecked the tip of your nose.
"I shouldn't be long."
"You two love birds have made quite the nest here!  I've gotta say, Aether's got great taste."  A familiar voice caught both of you off your guard and Xiao's stance became aggressively defensive in an instant.  You and Xiao were supposed to be the only ones in the teapot at the moment, and even then, those who did occasionally stay in here didn't greet you like this.  The person that voice belonged to wasn't welcome--or at least, belonged to a presumably-dead man--regardless of that savior act he pulled in Snezhnaya.
"Childe?"  More shocked than afraid, you too rose to your feet.  "What're you doing here?"
"Isn't it obvious?  I came here because I had something to say."  The harbinger was as carefree as ever, but as he walked towards you a slight limp became noticeable in his steps.  He was hiding an injury, but was it from Scaramouche or from Aether?
"What did you do to Aether?"  Xiao's voice was as low as a growl as he raised his spear higher.  He stood slightly ahead of you to ensure your safety since you no longer had a vision and couldn't use those mysterious anemo powers ever since the rescue.  And knowing you and your idiotic tendencies, he had to make sure you didn't do something stupid like try to fight Childe if provoked.
"Haha!  Relax!  Aether and Mr. Zhongli are doing just fine; in fact, they allowed me to enter!"  Childe hid a wince when he stopped walking, but noticed the flicker of recognition in your eyes.  His lips curled upward with flattery.   "Don't worry, ojou-chan.  A little scuff isn't going to take me out."
"I-I wasn't worrying about you."
He seemed unconvinced but faced Xiao again anyway.  "You'd be pleased to know that both Aether and Zhongli let me in on their own accord--no manipulation from me whatsoever."  The fact that he had to clarify that! "Why don't we chat over lunch?  I'll cook.  Show me to the kitchen, girlie?"
.............
To say that you and Xiao were staring was a bit of an understatement.  Here you were, both sitting at the dining table in the main hall of Aether's adeptal house watching Childe cook up a meal fit for a large family while expertly navigating the kitchen like it was his own.  And when he served you, the delicious aroma that wafted into your nose was nothing short of enticing.  You and Xiao withheld your utensils--one out of weariness, and the other because it's not almond tofu.
"What?"  Childe let out a slight chuckle as he took his seat and dug into his plate.  You have no idea how thankful he was that there were forks in the drawers instead of chopsticks.  "Oh, perhaps you two already ate before my arrival?  More for me then I suppose."
"Um, so why are you here?"
"I figured I'd give you an update regarding our little situation outside."
"'Little?'"  Xiao couldn't contain his scoff.  He hadn't dismissed his weapon either, and it levitated beside his seat.
"Seems like the quiet life hasn't changed you one bit, yaksha."  The harbinger stopped stuffing his face and set his fork aside to look at you.  "Regarding what happened with Scaramouche, I think it's safe to say I won."
"If it weren't for you coming here today, I would've assumed your untimely demise."  Ignoring Xiao's look of disapproval, you reached for your utensils and started to eat.  Both of you hadn't taken your eyes off of the harbinger as he cooked, so the chances that he may have tampered with the ingredients were low.  Plus it'd be out of his character to go about eliminating enemies like that.  "I'm grateful that you saved my life, but don't think for a second that that makes up for everything you've done to us."
"Oh, I wouldn't dare.  I know I've been aggressive for lack of a better term, but I'd like you to know that I'm only like that when it comes to my duties as one of the eleven harbingers.  Aside from that, I'm happy to call you a comrade just as I view Aether and Zhongli."
"Woah woah woah," you nearly choked.  "I'm certainly not going to start viewing you as a friend now."
Childe simply laughed at your objection.  "Think what you may, but I do respect you and the rest of Aether's party.  As for my motherland and it's affairs, I think you'd be happy to know that the Tsaritsa has stopped her pursuit of you and Xiao.  She's not exactly appreciative of you wrecking the palace and would like to avoid any further destruction that can hamper her current plans."
"That's all it took for her to leave us alone?  You must be joking."  The archon had spent so much time and resources on hunting and imprisoning you--the idea of her giving up just like that had to be unrealistic, right?  And the fact that Xiao managed to bring the entire palace down...there's got to be some sort of bounty on your heads.
Childe met your gaze and held a level of sincerity equivalent to the time when he confessed his feelings and offered you a position among the harbingers on Dragonspine.  "Not in the slightest.  Regardless, you're free to lead carefree lives from now on.  Though if you'd like to rejoin the Fatui I'm sure I can pull some--"
"Nope.  I'm done with that."
"Ha! Very well then."  Childe resumed eating with an amused grin on his face, but Xiao wasn't satisfied with this conversation yet.
"You've given us no reason to trust your words."  His stare was hard and calculating as he tried to decipher any hidden motives behind Childe's friendliness.  It wouldn't be unusual for this to be some kind of trick.  In fact, he expected that there'd be some sort of catch.
The harbinger sent a brief glance Xiao's way before guiding another forkful of food into his mouth and shrugging.  "...Like I said, think what you may.  I don't care if you two choose to live in this realm or in Teyvat with the rest of us.  But then again it must be incredibly boring for a guardian yaksha to be lounging around in this domestic place.  I know I'd be driven mad if I had to live in such a quiet place for so long."
Xiao didn't flinch or give any indication that he was right, but your eyes briefly flicked his way.  It was uncomfortable for him to be 'relaxing' here with nothing to do.  It wasn't surprising that he'd be yearning to go out and uphold his contract with Rex Lapis again.
............
"Childe, wait."  Your hand gripped his forearm rather aggressively as he reached for the door handle to take his leave.  Xiao had heard a disturbance outside and went to check on the realm just in case, so it was only the two of you inside the mansion.
"What is it, ojou-chan?  Miss me already?"
"Yeah right."  As he turned to face you, your grip lightened until you let go.  He hadn't called you 'Mezzetin' once since he got here, only referring to you with this nickname like old times...Childe raised a confused brow.  "Why?"
"...Why?  Why what?"
"Why did you save me?  You could've just let Scaramouche kill me back there.  So...why did you risk your life to save mine when you didn't care less when I was tortured?"  Your stance was firm as you faced him head-on.  "I need to know."
"Ah," Childe awkwardly scratched the back of his head, "that."  Some sort of conflict flickered in those blue eyes of his as he formulated an answer he didn't quite know himself.  "Like I said earlier ojou-chan, I've always seen you as a com--no.  As a friend.  Just as Zhongli and I converse despite the Osial controversy, I see you in the same light despite my loyalty to the Tsaritsa."
"That doesn't answer my question, though.  You had several opportunities to stop what was happening, and it was only then when you decided to step in.  So why then?  What changed your mind?"
"I don't know."
"Bullshit, Tartaglia.  There's got to be strings attached to this, right?  You expect something in return from me? Just get on with it already and tell me."
"I doubt you'd be satisfied with my answer regardless," he muttered mostly to himself.  "I may be kind of a bad guy, but I'm not completely heartless."  He observed the stumped expression that sat on your face as the gears turned in your head.  Then, he turned to the door again.  "When you're ready, you should join Mr. Zhongli and I for drinks sometime.  Farewell, girlie."  He was gone.
Despite the deep-rooted grudge you held against the harbinger now, you couldn't help but still hold some sense of familiarity or gratitude for him.  You might just take on that offer if only to purposely antagonize him at the dinner table.
......
"Xiao, how did you get your tattoo?" The two of you were sitting beneath another one of the many trees native to Liyue in the adeptal realm, still waiting for news regarding your return to the mortal realm.  Several days have passed since Childe paid you a visit, and Zhongli and Aether still had yet to check in on the two of you.  To keep Xiao occupied and keep him from worrying, you'd ask him questions.  "I don't have any of your memories of it."
Despite his memories being shared with you due to your bond, the further back in time they're from, the blurrier they got.  The oldest memory you could 'remember' dealt with the god that enslaved him, and even then, there was no mention of the mysterious green markings that sat on his arm.
"I've always had these markings," he answered gruffly.  He had sat up a moment prior with the intent to exit the teapot out of concern for your companions, but your random question caught him off guard.  His amber eyes narrowed cynically when your fingers traced them.
"Do they have a special meaning?"
"'Meaning?'"  His gaze averted for a moment as he decided whether or not to indulge such a topic.  But your eyes were so full of life as you traced his arm, and your touch was so warm...  "They represent my true form."
"True form?"  You tilted your head and attempted to picture whatever the heck he would be, but all you saw were a bunch of random shapes.  The other adepti in Liyue are shaped like deer and cranes, but what the heck was this mosaic supposed to be picturing?  "And, uh, what would that be?"
Xiao let out a tiresome sigh and realized he may have made a mistake in answering these questions.  Now that he had told you, you weren't going to stop asking until you got to see for yourself.  He never uses his true form; very few had ever seen it and those who have have already passed.  Zhongli had only ever seen it once.
Seeing his apparent concern made you raise a brow.  "No way.  Don't tell me your true form is a bug or something!"
"Tch.  Is that really what came to mind?"  Xiao shot you a glare before standing.  He was planning on walking away and ending the conversation, but your silent pleading made him reconsider almost instantly.  We are alone, he thought.  Perhaps I could show her once.  "Fine," he grumbled.  "Close your eyes."
You obeyed.  He didn't exactly say 'no' when you asked if he'd be a bug.  He wasn't going to appear as such...right?  Butterflies fluttered in your stomach at the anticipation.  And just as your excitement grew, so did the winds that brushed past you.  Even the leaves in the tree above were shaking violently. Then, everything stilled.  Something soft brushed your fingertips, which were resting on your knees.  It was a cue.
"Hm?"  Xiao was no longer standing over you.  Instead stood a majestic bird with blue and green feathers that shimmered like glitter in the sunlight that filtered through the tree branches. "You're--!"
"--a bird," he finished.  He didn't say anything for a moment and allowed you to take it all in, seemingly shy or even embarrassed as you instantly reached out to touch him.
The blush that rushed to your cheeks was ignored by the both of you while your fingers grazed over the feathers that stuck up from the top of his head. He was beautiful; as breathtaking as a peacock, even.  Your fingers trailed down the back of his long neck, earning a rise of feathers as Xiao contemplated your movements.  His feathers were softer than the finest textiles in Liyue! And the tail feathers he had must've been as long as you are tall.  They glowed a light blue that's similar to the eyes of his mask.
"So beautiful," you whispered in adoration.  Xiao shifted his wait to his other foot.  "Thank you for showing me."  The fact that he did showed how much trust he placed in you--
The sound of a twig snapping scared the crap out of both of you--so much so that Xiao immediately transformed back into his mortal self.  Since he was so close to you though, it looked like he was sitting on you from the front angle.
"Hey guys! Sorry it took so long to check in--" Aether nearly stumbled when he approached you.  "Um...am I interrupting?"
"No!"
"The Vigilant Yaksha is BLUSHING?!"  Paimon squealed so loud that the three of you scowled.  "And what's with that sitting position?! You--"
"Paimon!" Aether swatted at his companion before she could say something that angered the yaksha.  "We came here for a reason!"
"Hey! Paimon is NOT a fly!"
"It's confirmed to be safe now.  You two can come home!"
"Wait, really?"  The two of you stood up.  "Are you sure?"
"Yep! There's no issue with the Fatui anymore.  Everyone's backed off.  We'll see you at the Pavilion for dinner to celebrate, okay? Don't be late!"  The two partners exited the realm in a flash.
"Ready?"  Xiao turned to you.
"Right now?! It's so sudd--"
"You don't have any belongings here anyways."  The statement cracked a smile on both faces.  "Let's go."  He reached to tap the symbol on his hand.
Your hand grabbed his.  "Wait!  Let me see you a little longer."  He was confused to say the least, but you didn't bother explaining how gorgeous he looked in the light right now.  Those amber eyes mirrored your own--though perhaps it'd be more accurate to say the opposite.  This is the last chapter of the crazy 'adventure' and the dangerous waltz with the Tsaritsa.  In just moments you'd be back in reality, return to Liyue Harbor, return to your Granny's grave, and he would return to his duty of protecting Liyue.  One more moment in this peaceful environment is all you need to admire him before life got hectic again.
Now your new adventure will be permanently at Xiao's side for however long your lifespan is: training with him, supporting him at his darkest moments, and loving him.  No matter what Teyvat brings next, you'll be able to take it on head-first despite lacking a vision and at his side.  You'll both thrive, not just survive.  And as you peered into his eyes, you could tell he felt the same.  "Okay," you nod.  "I'm ready."

Sambucky ficlet
Featuring: Sam knowing how jealous Bucky gets around Torres and messing with him a little.
Rating: PG ish? There’s some making out
The slightly edited ao3 version.
———
“Who was that?” Bucky asked, setting a box down in Sam’s new place in DC. Their new place, a base of operations that didn’t put school age kids at risk of a fire fight. Suddenly those government contracts went up, and Bucky tried to pretend Torres wasn’t bouncing around like an extremely unwanted golden retriever.
Sam tucked his phone into his back pocket. “Rhodes. An entire convoy of armored trucks went missing. They want Captain America to investigate.”
Bucky nodded. “When do we leave?”
“Oh, so it’s like that? You think you’re coming?” Sam scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest.
The bewildered look on his face made Sam laugh, gap toothed and sunny. He might have vibranium wings but he wasn’t a super soldier. Bucky gestured with his left hand, as if Sam was being intentionally obtuse. Maybe he was. “Yeah. You’re not going in alone. We talked about this.”
“Oh, I didn’t say anything about going alone,” Sam said, obnoxious mirth hiding under the surface and Bucky knew he was going to hate whatever he said next. “Torres. Joaquin’s gotta test the wings sometime.”
Bucky actually stomped his foot, bristling and already opening his mouth to protest when Sam burst into laughter outright.
“You,” Sam said slowly, rapping Bucky’s left arm with his knuckles, “are jealous.”
“I am not,” Bucky complained, mind reeling for excuses that didn’t sound like lies. “He’s too green.”
“He is absolutely not. You just don’t want to share your good pal, Sam, with anyone else. Or maybe you don’t want to miss the action. There’s a word for that now.”
Bucky grit his teeth, the way he did when Sam was absolutely right and he couldn’t even come up with an excuse as to why he wasn’t. Instead he crowded Sam back against the counter, pulling their hips together by the loops of his jeans and catching him in a biting kiss. “Maybe I gotta make you remember why I’m your partner.”
Sam sucked in a breath when Bucky nipped behind his ear. “Yeah, alright, remind me. Still gotta let the kid test his wings. You know that. Don’t worry, I’ll let you come, too.”
“‘Let me come,’ you’re a real riot,” Bucky growled at that but settled for wedging a thigh between Sam’s legs and biting at his lip until Sam opened with a sigh for him. Bucky kissed like he was fighting, but Sam always gave as good as he got.
“Wow, remember that time he said ‘you can’t call me ‘Bucky,’” Torres broke in, a terrible impression of Bucky’s irritated voice on his lips. “And then you both jumped out of a plane? Now you’re making out in our very professional work space. What a wild ride we went on. That’s, like, character growth right there.”
Bucky broke the kiss and leaned his head on Sam’s shoulder. “You gotta take him before I end him.”

✾D.K- Two words: fuck, yeah★✶
Master list
Words: 2535
Warnings/kinks: Somnophilia(?), Exhibitionism(?), masturbation, Denki being a perv
Pairing: Kaminari Denki x reader
Summary: a sleepover with the squad, and Denki being horny
                                    ===NSFW under the cut===
Even if you didn't admit it aloud, you were glad Mina dragged you into her friend group. Even if you were in a different class, you still hung out with the group a lot. It took awhile to get used to since you didn't really have any friends before UA, even Mina; she was an acquaintance at most. So having four loud dudes, and an over dramatic Ashido, was a little much.
Kirishima was very patient with you, encouraging your social growth. Bakugo just never talked to you, Sero was like Kirishima and made sure to tone down his energy. Jiro was pretty quiet, but you loved listening to her music. And Kaminari on the other hand.. was a lot like Mina. Over-dramatic, loud, and energetic, oh and not to mention flirty.
In fact, the first words he said to you were, "woah, hey there beautiful."
Needless to say, you avoided talking to him as much as possible after that encounter with him, you didn't want to embarrass yourself. But after you saw him flirting with literally everybody, it gave you a bit of reassurance that he wasn't doing it just to you.
Over the course of six months, your bond grew stronger with the group, and you even started talking to Bakugo when he wasn't as moody. You were still flustered around Kaminari, trying to work up the courage to make him flustered.
"Pass the popcorn," Mina said to you, pulling you out of your daze.
"Oh— here," you handed her the bowl of popcorn. Only about half of the group was actually watching the action movie.
It was strange being in a boy's room, especially since you were sat on the bed with Mina. It wasn't too odd because it was Sero's. It was comforting, it always smelt like Rose incense, and the fairy lights gave it character.
"Y/n if you're not gonna pay attention to the movie at least let someone who actually is on the bed," Sero said with a raised brow.
"Sorry," you said, scratching the back of your head. You slid off the bed to switch spots with Sero, and realized that you were now sitting next to Kaminari. Ahaha, great.
"Oh hey cutie," he winked. He knew what he was doing. It gave him confidence that he was making a pretty person like you blush.
"Hey Buzzy," you replied with a nervous side-smile. You heard his breath hitch at the new nickname, something you came up with about a week ago after training.
As the movie progressed, you could feel Kaminari's gaze periodically land on your face. It made you self conscious, so you thew your hoodie hood over your head and pulled the strings tight. You heard a giggle from Kami.
"Well that was a boring ending," Kirishima said as he switched off the TV. "They could've at least left it on a cliffhanger."
"Well let's just get settled in, then," Sero said.
"I'm gonna go back to my dorm now. Thanks for the movie," Jiro said.
"Oh yeah, anytime," Sero replied.
Bakugo had also left for his room about an hour ago, already two hours past his typical bedtime. So it was just you, Sero, Mina, Kirishima, and Kaminari. One for the hammock, two for the bed, and two on the floor.
"Who's sleeping on the floor?" Sero asked.
"Not it!" You and Kaminari yelled at the same time, pressing a finger to your nose.
"Not it!"
"Not it!"
"..not it! Shit," said Kirishima.
"Well at least you won't be alone on the floor," Sero shrugged.
"I call the hammock!" Mina yelled, jumping onto the piece of hanging fabric.
...shit.
"Well beautiful," Kaminari said, slinging an arm over your shoulders, "looks like you and I will be talking the bed."
"Yeah," you grumbled. "Let me get changed, one sec."
You grabbed your bag and headed to the bathrooms. Of course. Of course this would happen to you. You had to sleep beside your unofficial crush! Wait— what. You let out a sigh at your self-confirmation, slipping on a white tank-top. Well, if you were going to try and fluster him, now would be the perfect time. You pulled on your silky black pyjama shorts, and took a slow spin in front of the mirror. You quickly fixed up your hair and brushed your teeth.
By the time you got back, everyone had changed into their sleeping clothes and were chatting away.
"Oh, y/n! We were just talking about how—" Mina got cut off.
"—how cool Hanta's twinkle lights are! See, they have three different colour settings," Kaminari interrupted, flicking through the settings.
Sero let out a chuckle as he fluffed out his pillow. You might be a little bit of an idiot, but you knew for a fact that they weren't talking about the lights.
Denki took in your sleep-ware, and his jaw nearly broke off the hinges. How on earth was he going to be able to sleep beside you when you were wearing that. True, your shirt had a few random stains, but did you not notice that you could just barely see your nipples through the white fabric?!
Kirishima gave him a quick nudge as if to say, "good luck, careful what you wish for".
Denki knew he shouldn't, but he really wanted to tell you how nice your nipples were. For once he kept his mouth shut, and crawled into Hanta's bed. You and him got separate blankets, but that wasn't enough to calm Denki down. He was going to be laying next to you, while you were wearing the most unintentionally sexy tank top ever. And those shorts... thank god those would be covered under the sheets.
"Ok, what were you guys actually talking about?" You asked, sitting against the headboard.
"We were talking about how Kami's gonna be sleeping with a girl for the first time!" Mina yelled before Denki had the chance to butt in.
Denki felt his face heat up as you started giggling.
"Lucky me," you chortled. You put your hands behind your head as the conversation continued.
"—yeah Denki, why do you brag about being so experienced, but you've never laid down beside a girl before?" Hanta teased, nudging Denki.
"Well you gotta have confidence! That's what gets all the ladies," Denki crossed his arms and stuck up his nose.
"Yeah? Where's your proof?" Kirishima prodded.
"Ok, fine. It hasn't worked.. yet!" Kami said, loosening his stance.
"Whatever you say, Denki," Mina giggled.
The four of them continued to talk for a while, you occasionally giving input. You were pretty drowsy, and remembered that you had barely any sleep the night before. You began to drift, still sitting against the headboard.
Denki let out a startled squeak as he felt a pressure land on him. You were asleep, head leaning on his shoulder, and he felt your arm slowly wrap around his, "uhh."
"Hahaha! Denki you're so red right now!" Mina laughed, hand on her stomach. He felt his cheeks with his free hand, and he was in fact blushing profusely. He leaned over to look at your sleeping figure, and couldn't help but stare at your chest. Your nipples.. were so.. perfect..
"Hello, earth to Kaminari!" Kirishima slapped Denki's leg.
"Ah— hmm?" Denki said, snapping out of his trance.
"You might wanna put a blanket over yourself," Kirishima nodded to Kami's lap.
"O-oh, right. Sorry," denki stuttered. He hadn't even noticed how hard he was, and since he was wearing sweats it was on full show. He quickly grabbed his blanket, and covered his lap. How awkward..
"Imagine if y/n knew what she was doing to you," Mina teased.
"You wouldn't," Denki gulped. No way would you forgive him if you found out.
"But I would," Mina smirked. "Unless..."
"Oh don't blackmail me, Pinky," Denki pouted.
"I wasn't finished!" Mina giggled. "Unless you grow a pair and take her out on a date."
"I-I can't," He started to panic. What if you said no? He didn't usually care about rejection, but with you..
"You've asked out literally every girl in our class, you shouldn't have a problem confessing to your actual crush," Hanta added.
"Ugh," Denki leaned his head back, "but it's different with y/n. I really like her, and I don't wanna fuck things up."
"Your choice," Mina shrugged with a sly grin.
"I'll think about it," Denki frowned. He was too conflicted to rejoin the conversation.
He felt you slip down his arm, and he tried to readjust you, and ended up with your head in his lap. Fuck, not what he intended to do. It felt so good to have some relief from his hard-on, but trying to restrain himself from jerking his hips up— fuck. He did not want you to wake up to him humping your head. He felt his cheeks get hotter, and took a deep breath.
He later managed to gently push you off of him, and covered you with your own blanket. He really needed to have a quick shower.
"Hmmph..?" You mumbled, gripping onto Denki's arm as he tried to escape. Shit.. so cute..
He sighed quietly, and decided to stay in bed. His erection would go away at some point. It was easy but difficult to sleep at the same time. On one hand, you were cuddling into him, and on the other, you were cuddling into him.
Fuck. Erection did not go away. Denki pulled out his phone and squinted at the time: 4:15am. He was now even harder than he was before, but he was still trapped. In fact, you had managed to sneak under his blanket and fully drape one arm over his torso. Shit, Shit.
Maybe he could just peel your arm away from him and— ah crap. Your thighs gripped his leg; another restriction. Denki could admit that he was really enjoying your attention, awake or not. The thought of your crotch so close to him made Denki whimper. He couldn't just go back to sleep, he would end up having a wet dream and horribly embarrassing himself.
Denki guilty looked over to Hanta's side table at the tissue box. He glanced at you again and took a gulp of air. Fuck, here goes nothing. He reached his free hand, (thankfully you only restricted his left), and pulled out a couple sheets. He laid them beside his hip for later. He slowly slipped his hand under his sweatpants, and began to pump himself.
Denki was scared shitless that you were gonna wake up and freak out. God, he was such a pervert. He focused on your thighs, and how wonderfully they felt clamped around his left leg. Your arm was still on his torso, loosely gripping onto his T-shirt.
He let out a soft sigh at the thought of you gripping his shirt as he kissed you, "a-ah~"
Denki shamefully glanced down at your relaxed face. Oh what he'd do for you to let him cum on your face. He picked up the pace, moving his gaze down to your chest. He let out a soft groan when he saw how hard your nipples were, breasts practically falling out of the tank top. He was getting close. Just a little longer.
"Oh fuck y/n, please," denki whimpered quietly, loving the way you shifted your position slightly, your hand falling down to rest on his stomach. He felt butterflies explode inside him, and he quickly grabbed the tissues and laid them on your arm.
"Hmgh," denki struggled. Your tits.. so close to him.. thighs.. oh fuck! He let spurts of cum land on the tissue, a little missing and landed on your hand.
His chest heaved as he tried to breathe properly again. He carefully folded the tissue and dabbed the drop of semen off your hand. He couldn't see the garbage from here, so he just stuffed it in his bag. He haphazardly put his dick away, and sighed contently. He couldn't believe he just did that. Needless to say, he had a good sleep after that.
You on the other hand, had woken up in the middle of Denki's activity. You weren't totally surprised that he did what he did, but you were surprised that he moaned your name, (and the fact that he basically jizzed on your hand). You couldn't help the heat that beat through your body, making you gently grind Kami's leg.
No, you thought. You aren't gonna do what Buzzy just did.
You had a bit of a restless sleep, waking up about every 30 minutes. When you finally did fully wake up, you realized that you were basically on top of Kaminari. Your left leg sprawled over his pelvis, and your left arm gently holding onto his broad shoulder. Just as you were about to try and get more sleep, you felt Kami stir awake.
"Oh fuck," he whispered groggily, using his left hand to stroke your hair/head.
"Oh hey Denki," Kirishima greeted, giving him a toothy smile.
"Hey," he replied, rubbing his eyes.
"L/n sure looks comfortable," Kiri teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
"I know," Denki groaned, "she was like this all night. Not that I'm complaining or anything."
"All night?" Kiri asked.
"Yeah, I basically couldn't move."
"Well good luck with that," Kirishima grinned, "I'm going to the gym with Bakugo, tell the others?"
Denki nodded as his friend left the room. You decided now was the time to 'wake up', and you shifted around your weight, "hmm."
"Morning miss cuddle bug," Kaminari said, grinning stupidly as you looked up at his face.
"Good morning," you mumbled, "sorry about that, I kinda latch on to anything in my sleep."
"Don't worry about it, it was nice," Denki blushed.
You peeled you leg off him, as well as your arm, "I'll be right back. Bathroom."
His eyes trailed your ass as you left the room.
"So Denki," Mina popped up, causing him to yell in surprise, "how was sleeping with y/n~?"
"Erm-" he started.
"I know what you did," Mina said evilly.
"W-what?!" Denki jumped out of the bed. "Please don't tell, I'll do anything—!"
"Denki I was kidding!" Mina interrupted. "I don't even wanna know what you did, you big perv."
He gulped nervously, "I-I'm gonna be right back."
Denki sped out of Sero's room, nearly bumping into you down the hall.
"Whoa, what's the rush?" You asked, now in a hoodie.
"Mina— was—," Denki huffed.
"Teasing? Typical," you rolled your eyes, "anyways, I need to ask you something."
Denki got nervous all over again. Ask him what? Why he jerked off last night? "O-ok, shoot."
"Did you know that you're super comfy? Like actually," you continued.
"Oh r-really?" He replied. What a dumb reply, at least say 'so are you' dunce face...
"Mhm! And something else," you licked your lips. "Can we cuddle again sometime?"
Denki practically choked on his saliva, "y-yes! Of course!"
"Cool," you smiled up at him, continuing your way back to Hanta's room.
Two words: fuck, yeah.

Swear By The Stars - A Tubbo & Robin Fic
It’s a peaceful night in L’Manberg, but the leader does not rest.
He doesn’t look it, picking his way through the woods bordering his country wearing a thick jumper and cloak, bags under his eyes and a sword in his belt, but it hardly matters. At this hour no one’s coming over for diplomatic reasons, and whatever he finds in amongst those trees is none of his business, actually.
Or so he thinks.
When he sees the figure in the clearing, his first instinct is to say “Ghostbur?”, but that would be very dumb because it clearly isn’t. Sitting on a log in the middle of the empty space is the ghost of a child, with ginger hair much too vibrant to be Wilbur’s, wearing an old fashioned shirt and a straw hat.
“What are you doing?” The question leaves Tubbo’s mouth before he can think to stop it, and the young boy’s head snaps to look in his direction. His mouth sets in a line as he gives Tubbo a once-over, face betraying curiosity; and then he goes back to gazing at the night sky, staring at nothing but clouds in the frigid air, as Tubbo sees when he walks over to join him.
“Are you alive?” Tubbo jumps slightly, looking away from the vast expanse of nothing overhead and back to the boy who has fixed him with a dull gaze. His voice is soft like it hasn’t been used for a long time, and he cocks his head to one side slowly. “I am.” Comes the teenager’s reply. The boy looks puzzled for a moment, then shakes his head. “Right. I thought, from the cloak, you might have been from the same place- time as me. But, obviously not.” “When are you from?” “A very, very long time ago.” The boy leans back on his elbows. “I lost track not long after I died. It all blends together, especially when you’re not watching people that are alive, but I never went away. Unfinished business, or something.” He tilts his head to one side again. “Who are you?” “President Tubbo of L’Manberg.” He replies after a beat, sticking out a hand for a handshake on reflex. The ghost boy takes it somewhat anxiously and gives it a tentative shake, soft and yet firm at the same time.
“Robin.” And there it strikes Tubbo, that Robin reminds him of someone. Someone he can’t pin down just yet.
“So what are you doing?” He asks as they let go of each others’ hands. “Waiting.” “For what?” Robin lifts his gaze to the heavens once more. “For the stars to come out. No matter when or where you are in all the land, there’s one surety: sooner or later, the clouds disappear and the stars show themselves, once per night. The weather moves fast.” He says, turning to look at Tubbo again. “Would you like to join me?”
Tubbo’s answer comes in the form of him taking a seat on the log beside Robin. They both look up, and it’s several minutes of nothing before either of them speaks again. “So, why do you think you’re still here? What’s your unfinished business?” The phrase leaves a bad taste in Tubbo’s mouth even as he’s saying it, and it hangs in the air for a moment as the younger boy contemplates his answer. “I don’t know. It’s supposed to be about tidying your loose ends, letting go of your life and moving on, but I guess it... broke when it got to me, because what are you supposed to let go of when you had nothing to lose in the first place?” “What do you mean?”
Robin sighed, “My village… went completely mad. I was an orphan: I barely knew my mom and my dad died in a war, missing in action, so not even a gravestone for him. I tried to study medicine, be somebody anyway, but I was a burden on everyone around me. One night, someone was murdered, and the town thought the only person that still cared about me did it.” Tubbo wanted to reach out and put an arm around this kid; he refrained. “They executed him in front of me. But they still weren’t satisfied. The next day, they came for me too. I didn’t have the will to deny it. All I had ever done was annoy and burden these people because I couldn’t look after myself, and they needed someone to blame. In the end, I just let them kill me too.” Robin sounded close to crying, though his expression stayed neutral. He looked over at Tubbo, whose face resembled that of someone who just watched a puppy get kicked. “Sorry, it’s not a happy story.”
The teenager forced a smile, “It’s okay- Look, Robin, I know we just met, but I think I can figure out what you need to do to pass on in peace. I might be wrong - I’m probably wrong, we’ve spoken for about two minutes-” “You can’t be wrong, you’re the President, and I’m pretty sure that’s the ruler of the land, so you’re always right?” Tubbo chuckled a little, “That’s not how it works anymore.” Robin seemed amused by this. “-anyway, what was I saying… Right, yeah, you said you don’t know how you can move on, but the way it seems to me, you have a lot of bad feeling weighing you down that you need to let go of to be at peace.” “How do I do that?” “I… don’t know.” Tubbo sighed, eyeing the scars on his hands and imagining where they run up his arms and torso, all the way up to his face. “I haven’t figured that one out yet either.”
Robin followed Tubbo’s gaze to his scarred hands, then to his face. “...what happened to you?” He took a deep breath, “It’s a long story but, essentially: I was found in a box on a roadside by a man who already had three sons and never really took to me. I fought a war for that country over there-” He gestured back in the direction of L’Manberg, its lights glowing softly through the trees. “-with two of the ‘brothers’ and we only just won. Then they lost this seat of power to a crazy old guy that made me be a part of his cabinet- It’s like a council?” He said, for the benefit of the confused child next to him. “I was spying on him so my brothers could take our home back, but he found out and executed me…” The two boys looked intently at each other as Tubbo trailed off, an awkward feeling settling over them both.
Then Robin broke it. “He executed you, and you’re alive? Did you reanimate or something? Come back to life?” Tubbo laughed nervously. “Like I said, things are a lot different now-” “You have gotta teach me how to do that.” And they got a good laugh out of that. “-but no, really. We fought one final war to get our home back, and we won, and they made me president, and for five minutes everything was fine, until two of the aforementioned brothers blew the whole place up and betrayed us.” The president startled again as Robin placed a ghostly hand on his arm, jarring him. “What about the last brother? Was he okay?” Tubbo felt a heavy weight settle over his heart. “Yeah,” And his voice became smaller than that of the young ghost’s. “He’s fine, except I exiled him from my country a few weeks ago, and I can’t even remember why now, it was so stupid and I miss him and-” The next thing he knew, the young boy had pulled him in for a hug, and Tubbo was a bit embarrassed by how emotional he’d gotten. “You weren’t kidding. Both of us have… some things to think about. But look!”
Tubbo pulled away, following the hand pointing upwards, not missing Robin smiling with hope in his eyes as he gripped Tubbo’s arm with the other hand. While they had been recounting their sob stories, the clouds had cleared. The two grieving, lost, lonely boys sat under a sky full of stars. “Doesn’t matter what you’ve done,” Robin said, dropping his outstretched arm. “The clouds can always clear. Maybe I should’ve fought it, tried to make something with my life instead of letting it be thrown away. Maybe you shouldn’t have sent your brother away. But the stars are still there. I’m not alone anymore: I have Corpse, the one who cared for me, who comes down to visit even now. And I’m sure you do too. Somebody, somewhere, who would come back for you. They can see the same stars.”
And at that moment, Tubbo knows exactly who Robin reminds him of. Himself.

all smiles here (jackie groenen x photographer!reader)
Tumblr media
focusing on your new job turns out to be a hundred times harder after seeing the smiley dutch midfielder..
word count: 2343 ish
——
today was the day.
here you were, 22, fresh out of college and about to step foot onto the dutch training pitch for the first time and start your new job.
last night you had spent hours fretting over tiny details, making sure your cameras were charged and ready, your lenses were wiped clean, and that everything was nice and tidy.
you had planned to wake up extra early, making sure you had time to get everything situated and set before practice began.
that was the plan.
that’s.. unfortunately not what happened.
in your excitement, you had forgotten to set an alarm, which led to your current predicament, biking as fast as you can, racing through the dutch streets.
you glance down at your watch, narrowly missing a parked car as you do so.
you arrive at 7:58, just in the nick of time.
seeing that the team was already out stretching, you throw your bike down with a crash and run onto the field.
the crash of your bike hitting the pavement caused a few heads to turn your way, with a certain number 14 taking particular interest in your entrance.
blind to the commotion you caused, you laid your camera bag gently down along the side of the field (amongst the other photographers), then bend over unceremoniously, trying hard to catch your breath.
considering you had biked 5 miles in 10 minutes, you were spent, forgetting all your excitement in the process.
when your heart rate had somewhat slowed, you began setting up your equipment, and quickly the nerves and excitement arose once again.
you picked up your camera and took a photo of the closest player to test lighting (that player being sari van veenendaal), all the while internally screaming that that was the fifa 2019 best goalkeeper while doing so.
disregarding how much of a mess your morning was, the next hour went splendidly.
you managed to get a few shots of miedema with gorgeous lighting, photos that your manager undoubtedly would want to publish later on.
few photos were “unusable” (you were pretty damn good at your craft), and your camera roll was soon flooded with a wide variety of individual and group pictures.
at this point you had almost gotten all the players individually, your task being to get each of them by the end of practice, which was coming up shortly.
you snapped a few pictures of wilms, grinning widely when you see how well they turned out.
scanning quickly through the list of players, you sigh with relief when you realize you only have one more player to take photos of, #14.
you scan the field with your camera quickly and your breath promptly catches in your throat.
jackie was laughing at something daan was saying, her smile gorgeously on display.
you couldn’t help but stare, your hand lowering the camera as you forget the task at hand.
but how could anyone blame you?
she was, without a doubt one of the most gorgeous people you had ever seen.
her gaze meets yours suddenly, you let out a squeak of surprise in response and fumble your camera, breaking eye contact as you lunge forward to catch it.
you let out a sigh of relief when you grasp it, cheeks blood red at your actions, the older photographer next to you letting out a chuckle as he shook his head.
“kid you gotta be more careful.”
you nodded and smiled at him kindly, before shaking your head quickly and resuming to the task at hand.
with the ten minutes before the end of practice, you took, in total, one photo of jackie.
this was a disaster.
you just kept getting lost staring at her, this time through the lens of your camera, so starstruck that you forgot to actually take pictures.
you let out a sigh as you began thinking of an excuse for your boss later.
~~
walking into the locker room, jackie rolled her eyes at jill’s words.
“but did you see her jacks? that new camera girl is..” jill letting out a low whistle to finish her statement.
“i mean i’m taken but i have to agree she is pretty cute” daan said, popping into the conversation.
soon whole the locker room began chatting about this “new camera girl”, and jackie couldn’t help but blush.
she had to agree with everyone, you were absolutely adorable, and watching you almost drop your camera upon seeing her only solidified that.
jackie was brought out of her thoughts by jill who, very loudly, pointed at her and said:
“oh. my. god. you like her.”
jackie swatted jill’s hand away.
“shut up no i don’t.”
“oh my god she’s blushing she totally does,” daan squealed.
the locker room was soon buzzing with excitement over jackie’s new crush, filling the air with:
a lot of “omg jackie!”
and
even more “ask her out!!”
with jackie of course very adamantly denying such a proposition.
even through all of the teasing, jackie couldn’t help but hope that she would see you again tomorrow.
~~
you arrived earlier the following day, much much earlier, so much so that no other photographers had arrived yet.
you set your bike nicely against the rack this time, taking your time to admire the nice day as you lay your bag along the edge of the field.
you take a quick look at your watch, 7:17, and upon seeing that no one was around, picked up a soccer ball you found in the corner of the field.
having played a little bit of high school and college soccer, you juggled the ball around a little bit and then attempted to score from midfield.
you hit the ball right into the corner of the net on your second try, jumping up in excitement, when you hear someone speak behind you.
“for a sports photographer, that wasn’t all that bad.”
you turn around abruptly and let out a small squeak of surprise when you’re greeted by the very girl who had enchanted you the day before.
she lets out a dazzling grin before putting out her hand and saying:
“hi i’m jackie.”
“i- uhm y/n” you mumble, eliciting a giggle from the dutch girl before you.
you wipe your palms against your jeans quickly and take her hand, trying to desperately ignore the sparks that shot up your arm from the contact.
an awkward silence followed for the next few seconds, until jackie spoke.
“so, y/n, do you want to kick a ball around with me before people get here?”
“i’m, uh i’m not that good i mean i played a little in high school and college but like just for rec teams and i mean you’re on the national level so like i’m i don’t know i should probably just stick to photography i hope i didn’t offend you i’m just not that great and i yeah.”
you stop your rambling and blush, hoping she can decipher your message through your jumble of words.
jackie just lets out a laugh and your heart melts a little at the sound.
“i can take a few pictures of you though if you’d like?” you offer, hoping to spend a little bit more time with the midfielder.
“i would love that.” jackie says, letting out an even larger smile if possible.
for the next fifteen minutes you took dozens of photos of jackie, all the while learning about her life in manchester and belgium, how she broke a bike on the way to practice once, her dogs, and other snippets of her life.
you honestly couldn’t believe that this girl, this incredibly attractive and funny and just stupidly gorgeous girl was talking to you.
it was 7:50 when the other players arrived, jill letting out a whistle and yell when she saw who was already on the pitch.
“get it jackie!”
the other players cheered as well, letting out wolf whistles when they saw the two of you.
jackie got up but before she left she turned and gave you a hug then saying:
“sorry about them. they’re quite an obnoxious bunch.”
you let out a laugh and the two of you parted ways as practice was about to begin, your heart beating so fast you were afraid it would burst.
~~
“y/n.”
your boss let out a sigh as he took his glasses off.
“why are there 864 photos of jackie groenen in your camera roll?”
“i- i dont know” you stammer.
“this isn’t what i meant when i said you took too little of her yesterday.”
you flushed a deeper shade of red in utter embarrassment.
if your conversation with your boss was any indicator, practice was a disaster.
it wasn’t the players or practice itself.
it was you. your gay mess of a self.
but you just couldn’t help but trail the midfielder for the entire practice, your lens (and eyes) never leaving her.
it was only at the end of practice when you looked through your camera roll when you’d truly realized just how many photos you had taken of her.
each and every page filled with pictures of the number 14, her smile as bright as the day.
in your defense, you had taken quite a few fantastic photos of her, though there was one that was your favorite in particular, with the sun shining at the midfielder at just the right angle, illuminating her eyes and leaving her smile with its signature glow.
and of course that was the photo that caught your boss’s eye, despite his disappointment of today’s “turnout”.
and of course he wanted to publish it immediately.
and of course jackie saw it. and posted it. and tagged you in it.
where did she even get your handle from?
~~
it was sort of an unspoken agreement between the two of you, with both arriving early each practice to spend time with one another.
each time there’s jackie, always smiling and always gorgeous, and each time there’s you, always bumbling and always blushing and always tripping over your words.
and occasionally your feet.
but jackie only saw it as endearing, and continued to talk to you even when you were making a fool out of yourself.
eventually came the time for the netherland’s first matchup against a team, that team being estonia for the euro qualifiers.
you were brimming with the excitement at attending your first match as a photographer, and you arrived extra early match day to set up and get a good spot on the field.
“well if it isn’t my favorite photographer.”
you spun around quickly to spot jackie in her full kit, a blush promptly forming on your cheeks and your heart skipping a beat upon seeing her.
somehow you managed to reply:
“well if it isn’t my favorite player.”
this was your first time saying something that remotely resembled flirting with her, clearly catching the midfielder in surprise, as her face flushed a bright red a second later.
“i’m offended. i thought i was your favorite player.” daan said, appearing behind jackie, who stood frozen.
you rolled your eyes.
“hate to break up the love fest though, but we’ve got a game to play.” daan said, tugging on the arm of an even redder jackie groenen.
after they left, you continued setting up your equipment, checking lighting and just making sure everything was all set and ready for the game to start.
and boy was it a game.
in short,
the netherlands absolutely destroyed estonia.
in a huge 7-0 victory for the netherlands, there were an abundance of great photo opportunities, and you got them all.
goal scoring shots and celebration shots, everything.
you however, did let out two very loud cheers when jackie scored, once in the 26th minute and again when she completed her brace.
you had forgotten how empty the stadium was in your excitement.
each time you shouted the dutch girl, blushed, met your eyes and grinned before being pulled away by a teammate, who said something that sounded a lot like:
“your girlfriend’s here cheering for you.”
but in general,
you had expected the dutch to win.
you had expected daan, jackie, sherida, aniek, and katja to score as much and as well as they did.
you had even expected that you would embarrass yourself in some way during the match.
what you didn’t expect however, was for jackie groenen to come running at you after the match.
you were packing up your equipment when you saw the dutch girl approaching, and you opened your mouth to congratulate her on the brace and win.
but before you could get a word out,
she pulled you in by the camera straps around your neck and kissed you.
you stood, frozen, as if you couldn’t believe what was happening (because you really couldn’t).
jackie had started to realize you weren’t reciprocating and began to pull back when you came to your senses.
you kissed her back, hands moving to her waist to steady the two of you.
it was everything you wanted a first kiss to be, passion fueled and full of sparks, her hands moving from your chest to cup your cheek.
jackie was the one who pulled away first, a smile plastered on her face much like the one that had drawn you to her that very first day at practice.
you pulled her in to kiss her again, forgetting that your camera was still looped in front of your chest, only noticing it when it was in the way of getting her closer to you.
you pull back with an annoyed huff and gently take the camera off, turning to drop it on the bench behind you.
“go out with me sometime” you say when you turn around again.
jackie’s face just splits into a sparkling smile.
“i thought you’d never ask.”

Chapter 10 - Student Council President Sakura
SCPS AO3 | PREVIOUS CHAPTER
To Sakura, world still revolved normally; nothing changed between them, nothing mattered enough for her to behave differently. To Sasuke, the world shifted in its axis, having revealed a glimpse of his true feelings to her however falsely convenient she deemed them to be; everything changed between them, everything mattered enough for him to behave differently.
Like flinching at her slight grazes on his skin or his ears picking up her voice in the middle of the crowd noises or his eyes following the trail of her rose hair tied up in a ponytail, bewitched by the sway of the strands as she tousled to get to the front of the fray, her fingers burning a hole through his sleeve.
“HOMERUN!” The announcer screamed through the microphone, the feedback running through ripples in the throng of people. “Uzumaki Naruto nails a clutch win in the last inning for his team in their first ever nationals!”
Screams erupted around them, and as others jumped and cursed and hugged each other, she stood there frozen in time, her hands on her mouth. “He won. He won, Sasuke.” Her voice quivered, and he knew then that she was crying.
“Yeah, the blonde idiot won.” He allowed himself to smile, picking the blonde among the ruckus that enfolded below.
An hour and lesser filled stadium after, the two went down to congratulate their friend with open arms despite the sweat and the grit. Sasuke went with the flow, jumping up and down and circling about in the middle of the pitcher’s mound. They broke away from each other’s hold after several minutes, breathless in the undertaking, and flushed with all the gleeful screaming.
Two firm pats on Naruto’s back and a ruffle on his porcupine hair. “You did well, idiot.”
“Ah I earned a compliment from grumpy. This truly is the best day of my life!” His teammates broke in laughter in the background.
“I’m so proud of you. I’m so glad we took the bullet train to watch your game,” Sakura said through tears. Perhaps it was the height of the celebration or the ride of her emotions; she reached for Naruto’s face and placed a kiss on his cheek.
Sasuke turned away just in time, thankful for the screams, hoots, and whistles that possessed the student body. In his aversion, he also saw another face who kept looking anywhere but at the two. Hyuga Hinata, his ironic comrade in heartbreak.
Haru was in the group of spectators earlier, a pseudo-coach and mood-raiser for the team, his undercut prominent against his cap. Sasuke guessed him and Hinata were civil enough to be enclosed in a common space. He walked towards her, hands in his pockets.
“I’m gonna confess to him in the cultural festival,” she told him before he could reach her side.
He leaned against the bleachers, shutting out the continuing noises from the student body. In the midst of it, he can hear Sakura scolding all of them for misunderstanding. “And you’re gonna get rejected.”
“At least I told him what I felt,” she replied. “Did you already?”
He shrugged, unsure himself whether he got the point across or not.
“You better make it clear. You berated me for giving mixed signals after all.”
“You don’t hold your punches, Ms. Hyuga.” Sasuke sighed. “I think she rejected me already.”
Hinata let out a small laugh, the first in his vicinity. “Well, I’m just giving back your advice. If you think it so, you should ask again.”
“A second heartbreak won’t do me good.”
“The future has a lot in store.” She finally landed her gaze on Naruto and Sakura who separated now and were engaged by Haru in some funny exchange. “Good luck to us, Uchiha. I’ll take my leave.”
Sasuke detached himself from the bleachers. “Without saying congratulations?”
But Hinata continued on her exit without giving him a reply. To his surprise, it was not only him who caught her leaving; a pair of blue eyes also followed after her, mouth agape, hesitant to call her name not when he was in the presence of her ex-boyfriend and ex-captain. Ah, we’re all stuck in this complex hell, aren’t we?
His phone vibrated against his pocket. On normal days, he would ignore the call, but today wasn’t normal and he had to act nice for the favor he asked.
“Did your best friend win?” Itachi’s voice greeted him.
Sasuke didn’t correct him on the terminology. He just grunted a small yes, and somehow, he can hear his brother smiling on the other end of the call.
“Glad my donation helped fund their team’s expenses. I take it you also spent some for the bullet train?”
Again, another small yes.
“That’s nice.” It was the first time he heard Itachi chuckle again after the accident. “I’m glad you have friends.”
They’re not my friends fell silent on Sasuke’s lips. All he wanted was to consistently rank first, have uninteresting interactions…but all of those foiled because of the two. “Yeah, something like that.”
He heard the beeping pager in the background. “Gotta run, little brother. See you.”
Little brother. Sasuke swallowed back an unfamiliar sound.
It was a sob.
--------------------------------
Sakura tried to look at anything but him – the titles of books on his shelves behind, the heads of other faculty members bobbing, the ticking of the second hand on the wall clock. Kakashi clucked upon seeing her career sheet.
“Haruno, you’ll be graduating salutatorian, just points away from Uchiha Sasuke and yet you haven’t listed a university or a job listing. It’s referral season, and you’ve done a lot of good in this school.” Kakashi held his eyes steady on her, a firm line on his lips. “Don’t you want help?”
She mustered a smile, if that was what they call it nowadays, and handed him a filled out form. Whether he could see that it was written with wavering hands, she’d never know. “I settled on fashion design. I’ve always wanted to be a seamstress myself.”
That was a lie, and she knew Kakashi knew judging by how the firm line stayed. He briefly nodded and let her go.
Sensing the bubbling anxiety, she traversed the noisy hallways and almost sprinted to what has also become her safe space – the hidden spot of the boys behind the library. It wasn’t lunch time yet so Sasuke and Naruto wouldn’t be here. She slumped against the wall, sobs racking throughout her body.
Aimless was what she would describe her direction, untethered her depth, and a black hole her emotions.
“I wish you would let me help you.” Kakashi’s voice made her jump. She scanned her surroundings but cannot find a telling strand of silver in the hedges. He was probably standing on the entrance, just before the canopy of vines. “I didn’t follow you. I just knew the three of you went here for lunch and after-school chats. I’m a faculty, Sakura.”
“Please go away.” She never heard her voice sounded so small…and vulnerable.
“Sometimes, talking it out would make the burden feel lighter.”
She didn’t respond, and he didn’t wait for it. His audible footsteps were an indication he was moving away so she took the bait. If this was one way to be near him, why couldn’t it be in the guise of her pain?
She emerged in the hedges, eyes bloodshot red and strained, only to find him leaning against the wall, waiting with a handkerchief for her.
In an ironic turn of events, he brought her to the program she initiated. When he turned to leave to give her the privacy she needed, she asked him to stay. And that simple silent gesture gave her the courage to face her reality.
That her parents were divorcing, and in a futile attempt to cope, she made herself scarce, almost invisible.
Perhaps she was too much work for a middle-class couple with a lot of bills and unemployed siblings to feed. Maybe if they didn’t have a child that hindered their defining career opportunities to relocate or get promoted to an overseas position. Her outstanding community work and numerous distinction medals just weren’t strong enough to warrant a reconsideration of their decision.
And maybe it was a wrong move to get a part time job and dissociate from the pink-haired, studious Sakura and be the adult black-haired, funky cashier Sakura because it only gave them the idea she can live just fine on her own without any of them worrying about her instead of seeing the whole thing as a call for help.
“If you’re ready, you should share your problem to the two,” her sensei said when they finished with her therapy consultation.
“They have heavier baggage,” she simply replied.
“They’re not comparable. Naruto has an empty baggage, a kid with no past, yet he drags it around. Sasuke has sand for load, it’s leaking at the seams but he refills it. And for you, it could be air or water. It’s because you’re compressing them all inside that they become heavier.” He laid a hand on her head, an action of a sensei to a student. “Thanks for sharing some of those with me, Sakura.”
--------------------------------
Cultural festival was an amalgamation of confessions, last clinchers, and stolen moments. Whoever snatched a dance with someone they liked would be blessed with good relationship – that was how the saying went among the ranks of students.
It was the reason why Sasuke and Naruto hid throughout the day in their spot, content to eat instant ramen, batches of onigiri, and packs of orange and tomato juices. Throngs of freshmen and second years were on the hunt for their feet as dance partner.
“If only they knew I have two left feet,” Naruto grumbled. “I can’t even enjoy the day with Sakura. It’s pathetic to think I’m stuck with you.”
“I second,” Sasuke said. “Do you think she’ll confess to Kakashi later?”
“She hasn’t made a move yet?”
Sasuke shook his head.
“Wait what do you mean you second?”
Minutes of silence ensued. Sasuke put a whole onigiri in his mouth, too flustered to say it right at his face. “I like Sakura.” The words were jumbled with his chewing, and he was sure Naruto didn’t catch it.
But the idiot grinned and laughed maniacally. “The great pretender finally admits! When did you realize it? Did you have the fireworks in your head too?” He even mimicked a rainbow with his hands.
“That’s a rainbow, you idiot.” Sasuke scratched the back of his head. “When she was busy looking at Kakashi playing the piano.”
“Ah, will we ever have the chance?” Naruto snickered. “Let’s confess tonight, grumpy.”
“Already thought of that and already prepared for it.” Despite the seemingly downfall trajectory of their common affections, Sasuke still managed a smirk.
Not to be one-upped, Naruto pulled out his phone and flashed a small bouquet of dahlias. “Ready to be picked up tonight.”
A Greek tragedy, that was them; two best friends falling in love with and being rejected by the same girl.
--------------------------------
Majority of the school population have gathered around the giant bonfire on the campus grounds, but Sakura knew Kakashi would be stuck in his cubicle in the faculty lounge, nose-deep in a novel, headphones in to drown out the noise, and feet propped up on his desk.
Tonight was the night she would bare her other truth naked to him.
But before she could even step foot in his space, she already heard the voice of his favorite book drifting across the nooks and partitions.
“You should be with your students.” Giggling and a sound she would only assume was a string of kisses.
“I don’t have much time with you. Let me be greedy just this time.” Hearing her sensei say that painted him in another light. So there was this very attached Kakashi, far from the laidback and chill professor she knew.
Sakura should turn her heels and join the rest of the student body. She should act like a good student model, ignore her teacher’s affairs, and pretend she was never here. Except she tripped while running, and that summoned the two of them to her aid.
“Sakura? Did you need something?”
She side-eyed Rin Nohara and shook her head, her one only good chance blown to bits by her own recklessness and stupidity. She muttered an apology and starts to walk away with limping feet when Rin stopped her.
“I’ll get a drink in the vending machine. I’ll be back in five minutes Kashi.”
Thank God for women intuition, Sakura thought.
But inevitably she was left alone in the corridor with her heartbeat far stronger than the noise of the band outside around the campfire and the unknowing subject of her admiration. She held tightly to his rubber tie around her wrist, the mark etched deeper by each day she leaves it there mangled with her pulse.
He crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall, a smile etched on his face, the soft moonlight falling on his features only to highlight his beauty mark. It was unfair seeing him like this only to have him break her heart.
She knew she didn’t stand a chance, but even then, she had to hear it clear and loud.
“I like you.”
Were three words ever enough to encapsulate the three years of affection she held for him? One word for each year she felt content with glimpses of him, may they only be passing shadows in the halls, an echoing voice in the adjacent room, the silent arbiter in council meetings or a silver strand she could easily pick out in a sea of black of white.
Kakashi looked at her, his smile still etched, his face still immaculate. “That wasn’t a question.”
“And that wasn’t a reply.” It was nature to look away when one was too scared to face truth, but for the many times he helped her, even without him fully realizing the extent, she owed it to him to be brave.
“But you already know the words.” A head pat, the same gesture that gave her comfort in the past was the same gesture that broke her heart just now. How easy it was for the breaker to give and take minute and mindless affections, but what right did she has to think they were special to begin with?
It was the end of an illusory conception.

A bouquet of dahlias and a bouquet of daffodils were hidden behind Naruto and Sasuke. It was dark, already past seven, the bonfire in its final vestiges, its sputtering flames waiting for last-minute lovers to dance in their splendid light.
Within the shadows came the girl of their dreams, hair untangled and morose emerald irises dipped in pools. Sasuke first noticed the bare wrist, the rubber tie gone, and he knew then that she confessed, and she was heartbroken.
He didn’t need to say anything to the blonde beside him. Her stance was enough to convey her present state of being. What she needed right now were her friends, not aspiring lovers stupid enough to break the friendship label.
And so they hid the bouquets on their backs, safe in the clutches of the dark, and when she reached out to them, their free hands already grasped her trembling fingers in waiting.
There they were, three broken-hearted people, wallowing in their own respective pain, sitting on the dewy grass that would leave stains on their clothes the next morning. When the school band started the last song, Sasuke stood up, abandoning his bouquet on the side, and pulled the other two up.
“Would be a shame to end our last cultural festival like this.”
Ten steps later, they were in the middle of the crowd of couples, three awkward friends holding each other’s hands and stepping on each other’s foot.
“For the love of God, you really can’t dance Naruto. Can’t you do a simple turn to the right?” Sasuke complained.
“Why are you putting all the blame on me? You’re the one who can’t differentiate the right from left!” Naruto spat back.
She laughed, and it somehow stopped their bickering for a moment. Bent at her stomach and eyes clinched shut in crinkles, that was their Sakura.
