keep thinking about Scott and Wallace going back to their apartment for the first time since his presumed death (because I think even if they’re going to try and be a couple no way he’s moving in with Ramona after one date and an encounter with their future selves) even if his death might’ve gotten him out of their lease. actually.. now that he’s back… he probably needs to pay rent…

all his stuff is still there, except for the jacket, some clothes are still on the floor (because Wallace hasn’t really been home all that much, okay!) his toothbrush is still in the cup on the sink.. they have accidentally used each other’s so many times anyway, why throw it out…

getting ready for bed and getting into their shared futon.. was it always this small? can’t believe Wallace ends up living in a huge mansion and that Scott is still crashing at his place…

#worm #this is what happens when you write a story where #the power system is actually given out by aliens who don't understand emotions so they can harvest the powered people to avoid entropy #resulting in the protagonist sacrificing herself and basically becoming God to stop them #and the protagonist working for the big bad but them both being too paranoid and controlling to co-exist for long despite the benefits #and the protagonist (despite their ruthlessness and ability to rationalize doing anything) gets wigged out when they fuck up a kid #because they have just sliiiiightly more morals #anyways congrats to wildbow for writing Breaking Bad and Madoka Magica at the same time #ALSO i find it fascinating that despite all existing in the same time there was never a time when they were happening concurrently #Worm aligned pretty neatly with Breaking Bad seasons 4 and 5 (both starting in the summer of 2011 and ending in fall 2013)#but Madoka Magica started in January 2011 and ended in April. im not worried about the ga finding out about the gayness in st (ie byler endgame) at this point/them getting mad over it. what i AM worried (aka also excited about) is when the ga finds out about all of the trans/weird gender stuff in this show. esp with the matrix being confirmed inspo + the whole "henry creel isnt a chick" thing in tfs and patty vs patrick and the line "a boy like me" playing over a scene of karen wheeler putting on lipstick in s3 (lipstick that's the same colour as patty's lipstick in tfs that henry specifically points out). like im not saying patty karen etc are trans but i AM saying that theres some funky matrix-esque allegorical trans and twinner gender swap etc or smthn stuff going on here.
