2. When I rule the world
Abortions will be free. Even if it wasn't rape. Even if it wasn't incest. Even if the mother's life isn't at risk.
Classes and resources on contraception and explicit consent are freely available.
After X amount of weeks gestation, there would be penalties for non-medical related abortions.
Opportunities to disclose non-consensual factors, such as domestic abuse or trafficking, are frequently given and resources discreetly made available.
For the microscopic fraction who deliberately misuse abortions as birth control, the cost of abortion will rise exponentially. Optional sterilisation may be offered, but never forced.
Nobody would ever be forced to bring life into the world against their will.

gjadgjkaldgjad im so happy you liked it, i hope this isnt like a super obscure AU because this show is very very good and it brings you full circle by the end of it. I can’t tell you how much I hate it when a season ends on a cliffhanger

Note
please give us a peek of ur fic! the pep one!
Oh of course! Note that this isn’t the sequel that I promised for When I Ruled the World. It’s more like an in-between fic between WIRTW and it’s sequel (the sequel takes place before the group stage CL match between Barca and Man City)
-
The kiss from Tito that felt like he dived into a pool. He again ruminated over his failure to support his ailing counterpart. He delivered a low blow that he believed couldn’t be recovered from. He should have just visited or done something to show that he was there. He was just a cab drive away from a visit. Just a pen stroke away from apologizing. A phone call away from admitting his wrongs. He remembered each cool kiss, but no longer did they send him into a winter hideaway. the cold battered against his heat and he wrapped his arms around himself to keep the fire from being put out.
“I would have been okay with sharing.”
The kiss from Lucho that felt like he was sitting in front of a hearth. He pondered over the shadows he had cast over his rugged comate. He set the bar so high that many believed that it would never be reached least of all overtaken. He should have made words of encouragement or something positive. A little speech while handing over the captain’s armband. A little chat while he was Barca B coach. A louder vote of confidence when the first team was taken. He remembered each hot kiss, but no longer did they send him into a warm refuge. The heat clobbered against his fire and he hissed as he willed the flame from losing its strength.
Camelot.
Catalunya still fought for its independence.
Guinevere.
Barcelona carried on no matter who loves her.
Lancelot.
Tito - the one everyone loved - loves - and now missed - misses.
Mordred
Lucho - a titan who followed no way but his and conquered where none thought he could.
Arthur.
Pep - was once a king, but now just a man.
A curious image surfaced through the pestering pictures of his wounds. An almost what if scenario had begun to play. There he was at Camp Nou walking on the large green pitch with his arms crossed as the night sky showed off stars and the full moon. On the right side of him was Tito, ever clam, a scarf no longer wrapped around his throat with a smile on his face. To the left side of him was Lucho, kinetic always, sunglasses unworn, with a grin on his face. He walked with them around the pitch twice then found they found themselves seated inside their box on the sideline.
“It’s good to be home.” That’s what he would have said.
He would be happy.
The calming cool to his right would smile in acceptance while the soothing heat to his left would make a sound of confirmation.
“It’s good to be here.” That’s what he would have said.
There he would be with the man he couldn’t ever be without to his right and the man he couldn’t ever leave to his left.
All of them in a place he couldn’t forget.
-
Hope you enjoyed! Hopefully I’ll have it done by the end of next month or sooner! :)

What I Read This Week: Trans Awareness Week Edition
Hello hello! In case you missed it, this last week was Trans Awareness Week, which leads up to Transgender Day of Remembrance, or TDOR. TDOR is a day dedicated to remember the trans people who have passed away this year, due to transmisogyny and violence. People (and organizations) observe Trans Awareness Week in different ways, but I chose to tweet about trans artists on twitter.
I didn’t have as much time to tweet artist as I liked; I initially wanted a list of fifty and that obviously didn’t happen! There’s still lots of incredible art that will satisfy your hungry, greedy eyes ahead.
1. Melanie Gillman - I reviewed Gillman’s webcomic As the Crow Flies last TDOR and I reviewed their zine Non Binary for Women Write About Comics, so click those links to learn more about their gorgeous colored pencil art! http://www.melaniegillman.com/
2. Kylie Wu - Wu draws Trans Girl Next Door, an autobiographical comic that is filled with fantastic facial expressions. http://transgirlnextdoor.tumblr.com/
3. Dylan Edwards  - Known for his graphic novel Transposes, which I plan to eventually review for this blog, Edwards also writes webcomics including Valley of the Silk Sky, a new queer, YA fantasy comic that looks amazing. http://www.studiondr.com/
4. Sam Orchard - Sam is from New Zealand, but did a tour of the US after kickstarting Family Portraits, and amazing comic series that tells the stories of several queer and trans people that are part of Sam’s community. I was lucky enough to get to meet him when he visited, and he’s a very kind, super talented guy! Be sure to check out this comic he made about Trans Week of Awareness. http://www.roostertailscomic.com/
5. Egypt Urnash - Urnash is the artist and author behind several very unique and very cool sci fi webcomics, including Decrypting Rita, which is about alternate realities and will blow your mind. You’ve never seen anything quite like this! http://egypt.urnash.com/
6. Jessica Udischas - This one might look familiar! In my circles, at least, Nightmare’s comics are shared quite frequently. The art is cute, Jessica’s comic-self has really adorable big teeth, and she calls out transmisogyny like a boss. http://themanicpixienightmaregirl.tumblr.com/
7. Dax Tran-Caffee - Dax’s new webcomic, Villainette, is page after page of beautiful watercolors and powerful commentary about transmisogyny, discrimination, and life as mustachioed trans women. Dax also has a graphic novel called Falling Sky that you can read online. http://www.norestforthewicked.biz/
8. Morgan Boecher - Boecher’s webcomic What’s Normal Anyway is complete, so you can binge-read the whole thing! It’s about a trans man named Mel who comes out, dates people, and lives his life. http://whatsnormalanyway.net/
9.  Mar Pascual - Pascual is a non-binary, filipinx zinester who makes gorgeous cut-and-paper poems that you need in your life. http://tenderqueerthings.tumblr.com/
10.  Rachel Pollak - I learned about Pollak from this article at Autostraddle that details the history of transgender people in comics. Pollak is a trans woman who created a trans woman superhero named Coagula, who could coagulate and dissolve liquids at will. I really really want to read all the Coagula comics now! If I do, I’ll blog about them for sure.
11. Valeria Halla - Halla is another webcomic artist who just started publishing Goodbye to Halos, a super fantasy queer comic, and is working sporadically on Portside Stories, which explores two friends whose experiences of being trans are very different. Halla is also the colorist for Octopus Pie, and her work on that comic is amazing! http://valeriehalla.tumblr.com/
12. Eddie Jude - Eddie Jude is a zinester who recently curated an anthology called Not Trans Enough, which collects stories from non-binary trans folks. It’s great, and you can review my review of it here! https://www.etsy.com/shop/latebloomzines
13. Nia King (and many others) - King publishes a podcast/book series called We Want the Airwaves, and interviews QTPOC (queer, trans people of color.) If you are a writer or artist I especially recommend checking out We Want the Airwaves, because it is full of great advice! King is also a zinester, an artist, an essayist, and a super talented individual. http://www.artactivistnia.com/
13. Biyuti Publishing - You can probably tell from the name that this is not a person, but a company. Biyuti publishes works by trans people of color, and if you are a trans person of color interested in publishing you can apply to work with them! Also, their symbol is a manatee! https://publishbiyuti.org/

All packaging will be recyclable or biodegradable. Single-use be damned. Refuse-sorting jobs would reduce the unemployment rate. Salaries are partially funded by penalties from repeat offenders of mis-/non-sorting.

Shit's fucked, man
As far as societies go, I know I'm in a decent one. I acknowledge I am in a fortunate position to even be able to critisise my government. My basic needs are met, as are many of the non-essentials often taken for granted. Fundamentally, Western society is effective, but arguably flawed. I often joke with my friends that "when I rule the world", things will be different. Given the ongoing fuckery of current affairs, I've decided to keep a record of such ramblings. I doubt (m)any will see these, but to those who do, please feel free to respectfully make your points (dis/agreeing or otherwise) in the replies/reblogs.
And with that, I introduce my theoretical manifesto in a series tagged #wirtw
